0:01:27 > 0:01:30# So come on and have some fun

0:01:30 > 0:01:34# We've got a lot of things going on at the Let's Go Club

0:01:34 > 0:01:36# Let's Go! #

0:01:39 > 0:01:42# The Let's Go Club. # Let's go!

0:01:42 > 0:01:45Hi, I'm Leo and I'm eight years old.

0:01:45 > 0:01:49I have two pet dogs and I really like playing with them.

0:01:53 > 0:01:57I also like to build things with my building blocks.

0:02:00 > 0:02:04And I really like swimming with my friends.

0:02:07 > 0:02:12But there's one thing I love doing the most - playing my piano.

0:02:22 > 0:02:23I started playing the piano

0:02:23 > 0:02:27because my mum said that I had too much energy.

0:02:27 > 0:02:31I think she thought I might mess up our house because I was

0:02:31 > 0:02:34always running and jumping around.

0:02:35 > 0:02:40When I started, my grandma helped me to learn things like this.

0:02:48 > 0:02:52After lots of practice, I could play things like this.

0:03:00 > 0:03:02I love going to school.

0:03:05 > 0:03:08My favourite lessons are science and maths.

0:03:14 > 0:03:19But one of the best things is that I also get to play piano here too.

0:03:19 > 0:03:24When I get home, I really like to play with my little brother, Alex.

0:03:25 > 0:03:28He likes to watch me play the piano too,

0:03:28 > 0:03:31and he sometimes tries to join in.

0:03:34 > 0:03:38I'm really lucky, because I get to travel all around the world

0:03:38 > 0:03:41and play in lots of different countries.

0:03:41 > 0:03:45So I have to pack all the things that I need in my suitcase.

0:03:45 > 0:03:49It's a good job that I don't need to fit my piano in here too.

0:03:49 > 0:03:51My mum helps me to pack.

0:03:52 > 0:03:56I'm going to do a video diary so you can come with me.

0:03:57 > 0:03:59Let's go!

0:03:59 > 0:04:02I have to go to the airport and catch a plane.

0:04:02 > 0:04:06Hi, New York! Here I am.

0:04:06 > 0:04:09That's me on the stage, playing.

0:04:09 > 0:04:13I never get nervous when I go on stage. It's too exciting.

0:04:15 > 0:04:19Wow, that was so much fun, but I'm really happy to be home again.

0:04:19 > 0:04:23There are so many brilliant things about playing the piano,

0:04:23 > 0:04:26but the best thing is making people happy.

0:04:26 > 0:04:28Especially my little brother.

0:04:33 > 0:04:35I'm Leo and this is what I do.

0:04:41 > 0:04:43Incredible piano playing, Leo.

0:04:43 > 0:04:47I bet you're catching up with the CBeebies Prom this weekend.

0:04:47 > 0:04:50From super-speedy fingers to super seeds and green fingers.

0:04:50 > 0:04:53We're going to be growing seeds inside CD cases.

0:04:53 > 0:04:57Are you up for that, you both? KIDS: Yes!

0:04:57 > 0:04:59OK, so first, we need an empty CD case

0:04:59 > 0:05:01like Briana's or Freddie's here.

0:05:01 > 0:05:05We're going to lay it out flat on the table.

0:05:05 > 0:05:09So, what's next? We need to put the water in the soil. Absolutely.

0:05:09 > 0:05:11Freddie, would you mind doing that for me?

0:05:11 > 0:05:15You need to remember just to pour a little bit to make it damp.

0:05:15 > 0:05:19Fantastic. Then we need to get stuck in. What does it feel like, Freddie?

0:05:19 > 0:05:22It feels really damp. Damp and ucky.

0:05:22 > 0:05:26Next, we're going to fill up just the bottom half of this CD case,

0:05:26 > 0:05:29cos we want to be able to see your beans growing.

0:05:29 > 0:05:33The next step is we're going to put in our broad bean.

0:05:33 > 0:05:36So you can use any seeds you like,

0:05:36 > 0:05:38but we, today, are using broad beans.

0:05:38 > 0:05:41Make sure you put your broad bean at the top of the damp soil.

0:05:41 > 0:05:45Before we put it in, we're going to make sure that our broad bean

0:05:45 > 0:05:50is frowning and not smiling. Let's see those frowns, both of you.

0:05:50 > 0:05:53Mm. Let's see those happy faces.

0:05:53 > 0:05:57The reason we put in our broad beans frowning is to make sure

0:05:57 > 0:06:00the roots grow down into the soil.

0:06:00 > 0:06:01Fantastic.

0:06:01 > 0:06:05Close up our cases. We're going to close it by putting sticky tape

0:06:05 > 0:06:07around three sides of our case.

0:06:07 > 0:06:10It's very important that we only do the left,

0:06:10 > 0:06:12bottom and right-hand side.

0:06:12 > 0:06:14The reason we put soil in the bottom half

0:06:14 > 0:06:17is because the top half of this case is a gap.

0:06:17 > 0:06:22This is where we're going to water our bean so that it can grow.

0:06:22 > 0:06:26Stick down that side to make sure when you're watering your beans,

0:06:26 > 0:06:29it doesn't escape. Are you all finished, Briana? Mm-hmm.

0:06:29 > 0:06:31Do you want to hold your case up?

0:06:31 > 0:06:35Here we go. Look at that! Where are your beans?

0:06:35 > 0:06:37My bean's over here.

0:06:37 > 0:06:39There it is.

0:06:39 > 0:06:42All we need to do now is stick your background on to your CD case

0:06:42 > 0:06:46with some sticky tape and wait for your plant to appear.

0:06:46 > 0:06:49Remember that gap you left at the top?

0:06:49 > 0:06:53That's where we're going to water our seed with some drops each day.

0:06:53 > 0:06:56Make sure that you leave your CD cases somewhere

0:06:56 > 0:07:00with plenty of light. Now it's time to wash our mucky hands. Come on.

0:07:00 > 0:07:02Here's our bean growing.

0:07:02 > 0:07:05I may have pressed the fast-forward button to speed it up.

0:07:05 > 0:07:09If you want to change your picture, peel it off and stick on a new one.

0:07:09 > 0:07:13If you're trying this at home, send us a video or photo.

0:07:13 > 0:07:16Head over to the CBeebies website, click on the Let's Go Club

0:07:16 > 0:07:20where you can find out how to send your stuff to us,

0:07:20 > 0:07:22like these Let's Goers did.

0:07:22 > 0:07:24# The Let's Go Club. # Let's go!

0:07:24 > 0:07:27There are plenty of green fingers this week, like Alice,

0:07:27 > 0:07:32who has been busy growing tasty beans, tomatoes and cucumbers.

0:07:32 > 0:07:36Aidan has planted and watered his neat and tidy flower garden.

0:07:36 > 0:07:40Caitlin has drawn some flowers and stuck on real flower stems

0:07:40 > 0:07:42and cotton wool clouds.

0:07:42 > 0:07:46Nathanial likes to dance, dance, dance. What funky feet! Matilda has

0:07:46 > 0:07:50made an Olympic Stadium, complete with flags and medals,

0:07:50 > 0:07:52all ready for the Rio Paralympics.

0:07:52 > 0:07:56Joyce, Oliver and Chloe have made this brilliant cardboard pony

0:07:56 > 0:07:57called Poppet.

0:07:57 > 0:08:02Jack is ready and raring to go bodyboarding on holiday in Cornwall.

0:08:12 > 0:08:16so we're getting all rhythmical with a clapping game.

0:08:16 > 0:08:20Why don't you join in? After three, can you clap The Let's Go Club?

0:08:20 > 0:08:21One, two, three.

0:08:23 > 0:08:27ALL: The Let's Go Club. Good, well done.

0:08:27 > 0:08:31Is there something you want to clap? Yep. All right, what is it?

0:08:34 > 0:08:36Gosh, that's quite complicated.

0:08:36 > 0:08:38Is it...

0:08:38 > 0:08:40I like playing on my bike?

0:08:41 > 0:08:44Close. Oh, what was it?

0:08:44 > 0:08:46I like riding my bike on the street.

0:08:46 > 0:08:49Oh, very good, very good.

0:08:49 > 0:08:53Elliott, I think there's something you'd like to clap, isn't there?

0:08:53 > 0:08:54Yeah. What is it?

0:08:57 > 0:08:59Hmm... What was that?

0:11:23 > 0:11:26I think you can probably guess what it's about.

0:11:26 > 0:11:31THEY PLAY THE STEELPANS

0:12:06 > 0:12:10Wow, I love that sound, guys. This is Addis and Axum.

0:12:14 > 0:12:17Axum, how long have you been playing for? Two years.

0:12:17 > 0:12:22Two years?! That's a long time. Tell me a bit more about this pan.

0:12:22 > 0:12:25They were invented in the 1930s in Trinidad and Tobago

0:12:25 > 0:12:29out of old barrel drums. I see. What's with all of these bubbles?

0:12:29 > 0:12:33They're notes which have been tuned by some people.

0:12:33 > 0:12:38They use hammers and chisels to make different sounds.

0:12:38 > 0:12:42How do you know where the low notes and where the high notes are?

0:12:42 > 0:12:45Because the lower notes have bigger bubbles

0:12:45 > 0:12:49and the higher notes have smaller bubbles. Could I have a go?
