0:00:10 > 0:00:12We've only got a few minutes,

0:00:12 > 0:00:16so get ready for more fun from the Let's Go Club.

0:00:16 > 0:00:21Fact fans - today we're finding out all about dinosaurs.

0:00:21 > 0:00:25Super-sharp claws, gigantic jaws,

0:00:25 > 0:00:29scales and spikes, and teeth that bite.

0:00:29 > 0:00:34Flying, soaring, plodding, roaring, feathers and horns,

0:00:34 > 0:00:36some small, some long.

0:00:36 > 0:00:40The fiercest creatures, now gone forever!

0:00:40 > 0:00:42Let's get to those facts.

0:00:42 > 0:00:47First up - nobody knows exactly what colour dinosaurs were.

0:00:47 > 0:00:49Hi, Dino!

0:00:49 > 0:00:53Dinosaur remains have been found in rocks, called fossils,

0:00:53 > 0:00:57but their colour didn't keep after being buried in rocks

0:00:57 > 0:00:58for millions of years.

0:00:58 > 0:01:02People weren't alive at the same time as dinosaurs,

0:01:02 > 0:01:06so no-one was around to take a dino photo to remember their colours.

0:01:06 > 0:01:10Maybe there was a stripe-eratops, or a spotty-osaurus.

0:01:11 > 0:01:15Next - some dinosaurs had skulls that were as long as a car.

0:01:15 > 0:01:17What a honking fact!

0:01:17 > 0:01:20But, even though they were such huge creatures,

0:01:20 > 0:01:23most dinosaurs had tiny brains,

0:01:23 > 0:01:27like the stegosaurus, who was the size of a bus,

0:01:27 > 0:01:31but had a brain no bigger than a lemon.

0:01:31 > 0:01:34Definitely not a brainy-osaurus!

0:01:34 > 0:01:38Next, the word dinosaur means terrible lizard.

0:01:38 > 0:01:40That sounds like a tall tale.

0:01:40 > 0:01:43Dinosaurs didn't look much like lizards.

0:01:43 > 0:01:47In fact, scientists now think that velociraptors were covered in

0:01:47 > 0:01:50feathers, and about as big as a turkey.

0:01:50 > 0:01:52Gobble, gobble!

0:01:52 > 0:01:56But watch out - those little legs could travel as fast as a car.

0:01:56 > 0:02:00Maybe that's why velociraptor means speedy robber.

0:02:02 > 0:02:07And, finally - dinosaurs were one of the first creatures to use toilets.

0:02:07 > 0:02:11Let's flush out the truth. Millions of years ago,

0:02:11 > 0:02:15dinosaurs shared the spot where they did their business.

0:02:15 > 0:02:18They pooped in the same place to mark out their land,

0:02:18 > 0:02:20and keep other dinosaurs away.

0:02:20 > 0:02:24Researchers know this because they found lots and lots of

0:02:24 > 0:02:28dino dung clumped together in fossils in South America.

0:02:28 > 0:02:31The collection of poop was so large

0:02:31 > 0:02:34that it was deposited in a museum.

0:02:34 > 0:02:37A poo-seum! Fact.

0:02:38 > 0:02:40You can join the Let's Go Club too.

0:02:40 > 0:02:44Just grab a grown-up, and head to the CBeebies website.

0:02:44 > 0:02:47There are songs to sing along to, things to make and do,

0:02:47 > 0:02:48and CBeebies Radio too.

0:02:48 > 0:02:51Remember - we're the club that never closes.
