0:00:10 > 0:00:12We've only got a few minutes,

0:00:12 > 0:00:16so get ready for some more fun from The Let's Go Club.

0:00:16 > 0:00:18Hello, my name is Saifa.

0:00:18 > 0:00:21And my name is Lucas, and today we are going sailing.

0:00:21 > 0:00:23- BOTH:- Let's go!

0:00:25 > 0:00:27'Norman is a sailor.

0:00:27 > 0:00:30'He's going to teach us everything we need to know to sail

0:00:30 > 0:00:32'a boat out on the water.'

0:00:33 > 0:00:36How are sailing boats different from other boats?

0:00:36 > 0:00:40A sailing boat doesn't have an engine, doesn't have paddles -

0:00:40 > 0:00:45it has a sail which is powered by the wind and pulls it along.

0:00:45 > 0:00:47Are we ready to go sailing now?

0:00:47 > 0:00:51Not quite. We need to put a buoyancy aid on.

0:00:51 > 0:00:55These keep you safe when you're on the water and will make you float

0:00:55 > 0:00:59- if anything should happen. - Can the wind blow the boat over?

0:00:59 > 0:01:03No, it can tip slightly, a little bit of water may get in,

0:01:03 > 0:01:06but you're both kitted out with waterproof clothing,

0:01:06 > 0:01:09so you'll be perfectly sound.

0:01:11 > 0:01:14I like the buoyancy aid because it can keep me safe.

0:01:14 > 0:01:17'We've put our buoyancy aids on,

0:01:17 > 0:01:20'so now it's time to get the boats ready.

0:01:20 > 0:01:24'A special piece of equipment lifts me out of my wheelchair

0:01:24 > 0:01:26'and puts me safely in the boat.'

0:01:28 > 0:01:31- Can we move the sail?- Yes, we can.

0:01:31 > 0:01:36By pulling on this rope here you can pull the sail in,

0:01:36 > 0:01:39it will fill with wind and the boat will go.

0:01:39 > 0:01:40How do we steer the boat?

0:01:40 > 0:01:43Moving the lever will make the boat turn.

0:01:43 > 0:01:47You move the stick either to the red, which says port,

0:01:47 > 0:01:50to the green, which says starboard,

0:01:50 > 0:01:53or in the middle to go straight.

0:01:53 > 0:01:56You move it all the way across both ways.

0:01:56 > 0:01:58Are you ready to go sailing?

0:01:58 > 0:02:00Yeah!

0:02:02 > 0:02:03'While we practise,

0:02:03 > 0:02:07'Norman keeps hold of a rope so we're always safe.'

0:02:08 > 0:02:11Now you're sailing on your own - I'm not pulling.

0:02:11 > 0:02:14Right, you've done fantastic this morning.

0:02:14 > 0:02:17I want you to go out to that mark with number one on,

0:02:17 > 0:02:21go around it, and come back to me. Yeah?

0:02:21 > 0:02:24Right, where...? Firstly, where's the ball?

0:02:26 > 0:02:31'I'm using the steering control. This changes the boat's direction.'

0:02:34 > 0:02:35Whoo!

0:02:35 > 0:02:38Absolutely brilliant! Well done.

0:02:40 > 0:02:43Wow, we're so close to the water!

0:02:43 > 0:02:46'We're now sailing all by ourselves.'

0:02:46 > 0:02:50'But Norman is always close by to help us if we need it.'

0:02:51 > 0:02:55Let your rope slide through your hand a little. That's it, lovely.

0:02:55 > 0:02:58'I'm pulling a rope to move the sail.

0:02:58 > 0:03:01'When the wind hits the sail, the boat goes faster.'

0:03:01 > 0:03:03Ah!

0:03:03 > 0:03:05- Ah!- Whoa!

0:03:06 > 0:03:09'A big gust of wind nearly tipped our boat over.'

0:03:11 > 0:03:12- Ah!- Ah!

0:03:12 > 0:03:13What's it doing?

0:03:13 > 0:03:16'It was scary, but we were OK.'

0:03:17 > 0:03:19Ha-ha!

0:03:19 > 0:03:21'Sailing is great.

0:03:21 > 0:03:26'When I'm on the water, it doesn't matter that I use a wheelchair.'

0:03:26 > 0:03:30Yeah, we're sailing in the ocean!

0:03:30 > 0:03:34You've done fantastic. You've did everything I've asked.

0:03:34 > 0:03:37- Have you enjoyed it? BOTH:- Yeah!

0:03:37 > 0:03:38What did you enjoy the most?

0:03:38 > 0:03:42When we went around the island, I liked it when we saw the ducks.

0:03:42 > 0:03:46I enjoyed it when we went around the island because you could go

0:03:46 > 0:03:49wherever you wanted and you could relax.

0:03:49 > 0:03:52You've done really, really, well, and now I've got
