0:00:37 > 0:00:40- Giraffe.- Is it a giraffe? - It is a giraffe,

0:00:40 > 0:00:42and I've got a little treat for you.

0:00:42 > 0:00:45You're going to help me pick up some giraffe poo today.

0:00:45 > 0:00:47Here's your spade and come with me.

0:00:47 > 0:00:49What do you think it smells like?

0:00:49 > 0:00:52It smells stinky but it's all right.

0:00:52 > 0:00:55A lot of people come in here and think it's really smelly,

0:00:55 > 0:00:58- so shall we pick up some poo? - Yeah.- Yeah.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00Yeah? Wonderful. Come this way.

0:01:03 > 0:01:05This one's for you, Grace.

0:01:43 > 0:01:45They are, and they love them.

0:01:45 > 0:01:48- Won't they sting the giraffes? - No, because the skin inside

0:01:48 > 0:01:50of a giraffe's mouth is very tough.

0:01:50 > 0:01:53Why do you put the nettles in these metal balls?

0:01:53 > 0:01:56In captivity they don't have to work as hard for their food,

0:01:56 > 0:01:58so we put the nettles inside the balls and they

0:01:58 > 0:02:01have to get the nettles out with their lips and tongues

0:02:01 > 0:02:03through the gaps in the mesh.

0:02:03 > 0:02:06It makes them use their tongue like they're supposed to.
