0:00:09 > 0:00:15I think I'm looking forward to the very first moment

0:00:15 > 0:00:20when we walk out on stage and we just experience the fans.

0:00:20 > 0:00:23When the lights come up, the very first,

0:00:23 > 0:00:26very first moment that the fans are going to see us because they have

0:00:26 > 0:00:29no idea how much we appreciate them

0:00:29 > 0:00:31and how much they actually mean to us.

0:00:32 > 0:00:36The Mall Tour last year, we were expecting 500 kids at each city

0:00:36 > 0:00:41and we walk in and there's like 1,200 kids, 2,200 kids.

0:00:41 > 0:00:45Like, 3,000, 5,000 kids. We were blown away.

0:00:45 > 0:00:47Today is the day.

0:00:47 > 0:00:49Today we are in St John's, Newfoundland,

0:00:49 > 0:00:52and we are having our very first show.

0:00:52 > 0:00:55Of our first ever Next Step Live tour.

0:00:55 > 0:00:57It's super, super exciting.

0:00:57 > 0:00:59- I'm very anxious. - I'm kind of overwhelmed.

0:01:01 > 0:01:03I'm getting emotional.

0:01:03 > 0:01:05And I'm excited.

0:01:05 > 0:01:07I'm a little bit nervous but I think my excitement overpowers that

0:01:07 > 0:01:09and it's just going to be amazing.

0:01:09 > 0:01:11I think it's going to be pretty epic

0:01:11 > 0:01:14because the venue we're in is huge and

0:01:14 > 0:01:18the stage is massive. We're going to have so much space to tumble and do,

0:01:18 > 0:01:19like, big tricks and stuff.

0:01:19 > 0:01:21It's going to be crazy, I can't wait.

0:01:21 > 0:01:25We've done a whole bunch of preparations, rehearsals,

0:01:25 > 0:01:28tech runs and today's actually the first day that we get to

0:01:28 > 0:01:30go on stage and perform in front of all the fans.

0:01:30 > 0:01:33I'm just excited for that first moment where we walk

0:01:33 > 0:01:38out on stage and see, like, the entire crowd and the screaming.

0:01:38 > 0:01:40I know my adrenaline will go up

0:01:40 > 0:01:42and all of a sudden we'll start killing the dance.

0:01:42 > 0:01:46I feel like, in that moment, it just really,

0:01:46 > 0:01:48really reminds me of how truly blessed

0:01:48 > 0:01:51and grateful I am for everything that I've accomplished so far.

0:04:41 > 0:04:43CHEERING

0:04:50 > 0:04:54As you can see, it's a very rainy day here in St John's.

0:04:54 > 0:04:58Today is definitely not the day for the beach but we went.

0:04:58 > 0:05:01We did manage to get to Middle Cove Beach

0:05:01 > 0:05:06and see the furthest east point we're ever going to be on the tour.

0:05:09 > 0:05:11I've never experienced anything like it.

0:05:11 > 0:05:14It was freezing cold and windy as ever.

0:05:18 > 0:05:20It was beautiful, even in the rain.

0:05:20 > 0:05:22I can only imagine how beautiful it would be with the sun

0:05:22 > 0:05:24and warm weather.

0:05:27 > 0:05:30I threw the rocks. I wanted to see how far I could throw the rocks.

0:05:30 > 0:05:32I tried to skip some rocks.

0:05:32 > 0:05:35You don't get to see a lot of those kind of rocks where we're from.

0:05:35 > 0:05:36I mean, we're from the city, so you

0:05:36 > 0:05:38don't see any of that stuff very often.

0:05:38 > 0:05:42Guys, I'm pretty sure we found an olive. I'm almost certain.

0:05:42 > 0:05:45At the beach, you have to take a few selfies,

0:05:45 > 0:05:48so, yes, we took some selfies and some group shots.

0:05:48 > 0:05:51Guys, I want to take a picture. You got it?

0:05:51 > 0:05:53At least pull your hoods back, so we can see who's who.

0:05:53 > 0:05:55We were trying to take pictures

0:05:55 > 0:05:57and you can't even see half of our faces because

0:05:57 > 0:06:00our hoods are up and we're, like, trying to smile

0:06:00 > 0:06:02and, like, get in the frame of the camera.

0:06:02 > 0:06:05Newfoundland on three. One, two, three.

0:06:05 > 0:06:06Newfoundland.

0:06:08 > 0:06:09It's really rainy!

0:06:10 > 0:06:13I picked up a really cool stone, actually.

0:06:13 > 0:06:16I'm going to bring it with me all the way to Vancouver

0:06:16 > 0:06:17and maybe like trade it off.

0:06:17 > 0:06:19Drop one there, bring one back with me.

0:06:19 > 0:06:21So I think it's going to be cool.

0:06:23 > 0:06:27It was extraordinary, all of the mountains and the water

0:06:27 > 0:06:30and, even though it is raining, it was still really, really nice

0:06:30 > 0:06:34and a nice moment for all of us as a team to

0:06:34 > 0:06:38kind of take in where we are and what exactly we're doing here.

0:06:38 > 0:06:42- OK, ready?- One, two, three.

0:06:54 > 0:06:57To get ready for this tour, we've done a lot of prep work.

0:06:57 > 0:06:59I mean, it's just mostly rehearsals.

0:06:59 > 0:07:02Like, we've been rehearsing this past month.

0:07:02 > 0:07:05# Na-na na-na na-na-na... #

0:07:05 > 0:07:06A lot of review and we've also

0:07:06 > 0:07:09come up with a whole bunch of new routines

0:07:09 > 0:07:11and stuff like that for the fans to see.

0:07:13 > 0:07:14It's been a lot of work.

0:07:14 > 0:07:16Rehearsals was a lot for us.

0:07:16 > 0:07:19We learned so many dances in such a short amount of time.

0:07:25 > 0:07:28And just running through the show every day continuously

0:07:28 > 0:07:32and, like, doing it full-out without an audience was, like, hard for us

0:07:32 > 0:07:34and I feel like, with the audience,

0:07:34 > 0:07:36it's going to be a little bit easier.

0:07:42 > 0:07:46Before a show we just like to warm up and get together as a group.

0:07:46 > 0:07:48Do some stretching and stuff.

0:07:48 > 0:07:51In a typical warm-up, we start with a little cardio, like jogging,

0:07:51 > 0:07:53jumping jacks, that kind of stuff.

0:07:57 > 0:07:59Sometimes I lead it, sometimes other people lead it.

0:07:59 > 0:08:01Er, Jordan actually lead it the other day

0:08:01 > 0:08:03and that was pretty intense.

0:08:05 > 0:08:08You know, we're all from different studios, so everyone

0:08:08 > 0:08:11has, like, different exercises that they do in their warm-up.

0:08:11 > 0:08:16So when each person gets to lead their warm-up, it's cool to see

0:08:16 > 0:08:20the way each person has trained and, you know, what they focus on.

0:08:20 > 0:08:24Is it the breath you're putting into the stretching or is it the,

0:08:24 > 0:08:27you know, the alignment of your body, making sure you're

0:08:27 > 0:08:30stretching the proper muscles or is that the conditioning?

0:08:31 > 0:08:33I remember the first day we had rehearsals,

0:08:33 > 0:08:36Jenny did abs with us and we were dead.

0:08:36 > 0:08:39Jenny got up she was like, "OK, let's go."

0:08:39 > 0:08:42We were all like beat on the ground, like, my stomach

0:08:42 > 0:08:45was like throbbing it hurt so much.

0:08:45 > 0:08:47Warm-ups before we do the show, they're pretty intense.

0:08:47 > 0:08:50I love them, actually, because it makes sure that we're nice

0:08:50 > 0:08:52and warmed up, it keeps us in shape throughout the whole tour.

0:08:52 > 0:08:55So I'm really looking forward to being in top shape once this

0:08:55 > 0:08:57tour is done.

0:08:57 > 0:09:00So my solo in the show is called Showstoppa.

0:09:01 > 0:09:03It's from season two of The Next Step.

0:09:03 > 0:09:05It's the solo that I performed at Nationals

0:09:05 > 0:09:10and I love it. It's so high energy and it's so much fun to do.

0:09:10 > 0:09:12The song is so catchy,

0:09:12 > 0:09:15so every single time I perform my solo I come off stage

0:09:15 > 0:09:18and everyone else on the cast is singing my song and I'm just like,

0:09:18 > 0:09:21"Ugh, stop singing it because I already have to hear it enough."

0:09:21 > 0:09:23# When we hear that beat... #

0:09:25 > 0:09:29I have a blast when I dance. Dance is kind of an escape for me.

0:09:29 > 0:09:33So if I am smiling on stage, it's not false, it's really true.

0:09:33 > 0:09:36Because I just love it so much, it just makes me feel really happy

0:09:36 > 0:09:38and, you know, especially on tour,

0:09:38 > 0:09:42seeing all the kids smiling at us, it just makes me smile even bigger.

0:09:42 > 0:09:45So, yeah, I have a lot of fun when I'm on stage.

0:09:47 > 0:09:49# Fierce

0:09:49 > 0:09:50# The one

0:09:50 > 0:09:52# The one

0:09:52 > 0:09:54# Showstoppa

0:09:54 > 0:09:56# Fierce

0:09:56 > 0:09:58# The one

0:09:58 > 0:09:59# The one

0:09:59 > 0:10:01# Showstoppa

0:10:01 > 0:10:03# When she stay through a show

0:10:03 > 0:10:04# Every guy always want more... #

0:10:04 > 0:10:07CHEERING

0:10:07 > 0:10:09# Screaming ow, ow

0:10:09 > 0:10:11# Wind up, point to your crown

0:10:11 > 0:10:13# Have you screaming over town

0:10:13 > 0:10:14# The stage is mine...

0:10:15 > 0:10:17# ...turn it up

0:10:17 > 0:10:19# Lights, camera, action

0:10:19 > 0:10:20# Are you ready for the show?

0:10:20 > 0:10:22# The spotlight's on me

0:10:22 > 0:10:24# And I just start to explode

0:10:24 > 0:10:26# Lights, camera, action

0:10:26 > 0:10:28# Are you ready for the show?

0:10:28 > 0:10:30# It's going to be

0:10:30 > 0:10:32# A showstoppa

0:10:32 > 0:10:35# A showstoppa

0:10:35 > 0:10:36# A showstoppa

0:10:36 > 0:10:37# Showstoppa

0:10:37 > 0:10:39# A showstoppa

0:10:39 > 0:10:40# Showstoppa

0:10:40 > 0:10:41# Showstoppa

0:10:41 > 0:10:43# Showstoppa

0:10:43 > 0:10:45# Showstoppa

0:10:45 > 0:10:46# Showstoppa

0:10:46 > 0:10:48# What we see going on that stage

0:10:48 > 0:10:50# We're going to put it down

0:10:50 > 0:10:52# We can't help but go crazy

0:10:52 > 0:10:54# When we hear that beat

0:10:54 > 0:10:56# Then we feel it in our feet

0:10:56 > 0:10:58# With your hands on your knees

0:10:58 > 0:10:59# We get down low

0:10:59 > 0:11:01# And drop it to the floor

0:11:01 > 0:11:03# One time for your mind

0:11:03 > 0:11:05# Two time for the show

0:11:05 > 0:11:07# If you can dance with me

0:11:07 > 0:11:09# Come on, let's go

0:11:09 > 0:11:11# One time for your mind

0:11:11 > 0:11:13# Two time for the show

0:11:13 > 0:11:15# If you can dance with me

0:11:15 > 0:11:17# Come on, let's go

0:11:17 > 0:11:18# Showstoppa

0:11:18 > 0:11:20# Showstoppa

0:11:20 > 0:11:22# Showstoppa

0:11:22 > 0:11:24# Showstoppa

0:11:24 > 0:11:26# Showstoppa

0:11:26 > 0:11:28# Showstoppa

0:11:28 > 0:11:30# Showstoppa

0:11:30 > 0:11:31# Showstoppa

0:11:37 > 0:11:40# We, we, we run the show. #

0:11:43 > 0:11:46Michelle, you're in the way.

0:11:46 > 0:11:49- Her name's Victoria. - Her name is Victoria?

0:11:49 > 0:11:53- I like calling you guys by your character names.- OK, Riley.

0:11:53 > 0:11:56Don't call me Riley! Kidding. Don't do it to me.

0:11:56 > 0:11:58I don't think I look like a Michelle.

0:11:58 > 0:12:02- I don't think I look like an Amanda. - Yeah, you do.

0:12:02 > 0:12:04No, I don't see a Logan.

0:12:04 > 0:12:07- What? That's my name.- I know, I don't see it for you, though.

0:12:07 > 0:12:10- I see you differently. - I was supposed to be named Raquel.

0:12:10 > 0:12:12I was supposed to be Alexandra.

0:12:12 > 0:12:13I'm supposed to be named Lauren.

0:12:13 > 0:12:18- Really?- Yeah.- You don't look like a Lauren.- I like Lauren much better.

0:12:18 > 0:12:20- Really? Than Victoria? - I don't think it suits me.

0:12:20 > 0:12:24What about the boys? Who's been helping with the boys... look good?

0:12:24 > 0:12:27- They don't have to do anything. - We pluck Trevor's unibrow sometimes.

0:12:27 > 0:12:30Wow, exclusive.

0:12:30 > 0:12:31Exposing everyone.

0:12:31 > 0:12:34Flaws, like bathroom things, nobody wants to know.

0:12:34 > 0:12:36Nine weeks is a long time, so it will be

0:12:36 > 0:12:39interesting to see how we all work together and live together.

0:12:39 > 0:12:42I'd be lying if I said that there aren't going to be little

0:12:42 > 0:12:45arguments and we're not going to get sick of each other a little bit.

0:12:45 > 0:12:48Hopefully none of the boys are too messy because I'm not very

0:12:48 > 0:12:52messy and I don't think I'll be able to deal with the messiness.

0:12:52 > 0:12:54Actually, the girls, they get pretty messy but

0:12:54 > 0:12:58Myles and Lamar keep their stuff really clean.

0:12:58 > 0:13:01You come to our room now, everything is already folded in our suitcases.

0:13:01 > 0:13:05After we wear something, we'll fold it up and we have a routine.

0:13:05 > 0:13:09I'm going to have to work on keeping my area clean.

0:13:09 > 0:13:11I'm a little bit messy and so is Trevor.

0:13:11 > 0:13:13Definitely, I can tell you, I am the cleanest one.

0:13:13 > 0:13:17I actually live with Lamar and Isaac and I'm only one who cleans.

0:13:17 > 0:13:19I think we'll still love each other even though

0:13:19 > 0:13:24we might want to have some alone time sometimes. I know I will.

0:13:24 > 0:13:27But we definitely will get along still.

0:13:27 > 0:13:30Can I please have Logan and Samantha?

0:13:30 > 0:13:31- Whoo!- Whoo!

0:13:32 > 0:13:35My role on the tour is I am a substitute.

0:13:35 > 0:13:36OK.

0:13:36 > 0:13:40So just in case anybody gets hurt or someone feels sick,

0:13:40 > 0:13:42I would replace them in the group dances.

0:13:42 > 0:13:45SHOUTING

0:13:47 > 0:13:50My role on this tour is the understudy.

0:13:50 > 0:13:53So if anybody gets hurt, any one of the boys gets hurt,

0:13:53 > 0:13:56I'm going to go on and take their place.

0:13:56 > 0:13:58It's a lot harder being a sub than some people think that it is

0:13:58 > 0:14:02because I have to learn everybody's part in everything.

0:14:02 > 0:14:05So, because... God forbid, Logan gets hurt

0:14:05 > 0:14:08or Victoria gets hurt and they do two different sections...

0:14:08 > 0:14:13So, in rehearsals yesterday, Victoria was getting a massage

0:14:13 > 0:14:17by our physiotherapist, so when we were doing the run-through of

0:14:17 > 0:14:21the show, there was a spot missing, therefore I had to fill in for her.

0:14:21 > 0:14:24Which is kind of scary but it was fun, it was cool being on the stage.

0:14:26 > 0:14:27# Everybody, lose control

0:14:27 > 0:14:29# Everybody, lose control

0:14:29 > 0:14:33# This dance is on fire and we own the world. #

0:14:40 > 0:14:43Bowling was a lot of fun last night.

0:14:43 > 0:14:45I never went bowling with any of the cast members,

0:14:45 > 0:14:49so it was cool to just have fun and just unwind and just go bowling.

0:14:50 > 0:14:54It was funny, because I was expecting the big bowling balls

0:14:54 > 0:14:56with the three holes, they're like ten pounds.

0:14:56 > 0:15:00We walk in, the balls are like this big and we were like, "Oh."

0:15:04 > 0:15:06I'm not the best bowler.

0:15:06 > 0:15:08I'll be honest with you, man, I kind of suck at bowling

0:15:08 > 0:15:11but it was fun, it kind of just made us feel like a family.

0:15:16 > 0:15:18SHE SCREAMS

0:15:23 > 0:15:25I got one!

0:15:28 > 0:15:31THEY CHEER

0:15:35 > 0:15:38We're gone for two months and we've never gone for this long

0:15:38 > 0:15:42period of time, so maybe someone will get homesick.

0:15:42 > 0:15:44I mean, maybe I will get homesick.

0:15:44 > 0:15:47I'm going to miss my sister, I think, the most

0:15:47 > 0:15:50because I live with her and being away for nine weeks is going

0:15:50 > 0:15:53to be crazy hard just because I usually see her almost every

0:15:53 > 0:15:56day and I always tell her about my day and stuff like that.

0:15:56 > 0:15:59I'm definitely going to miss my mom and my dad. They've always

0:15:59 > 0:16:03been my biggest supporters, front row to every dance show I've ever

0:16:03 > 0:16:06done, so it will be hard to not have them in the audience for every show.

0:16:06 > 0:16:10I mean, I spend every living, breathing moment with my mom

0:16:10 > 0:16:12and I know she's feeling it too.

0:16:12 > 0:16:16I've already called my mother probably about twice already.

0:16:16 > 0:16:19I don't go to sleep unless I call my mom.

0:16:19 > 0:16:22She just helps me sleep at night, to know that she's still out there

0:16:22 > 0:16:23somewhere. Just not with me.

0:16:23 > 0:16:26There's going to be some time where I'll definitely really,

0:16:26 > 0:16:28really miss my family.

0:16:28 > 0:16:32They know I love them and, I mean, smartphones, FaceTime,

0:16:32 > 0:16:35we've got texting. We're good.

0:16:35 > 0:16:39I won. So it was guys versus guys and it was girls versus girls.

0:16:39 > 0:16:40I won two times in a row.

0:16:40 > 0:16:43The two games that we played, I was number one both times,

0:16:43 > 0:16:46so I'm really happy about that.

0:16:46 > 0:16:51Injuries are constant. It's a thing, it's going to happen. It really is.

0:16:51 > 0:16:54You'll have like maybe a pain in your ankle or in your shoulder

0:16:54 > 0:16:59but we have our massage therapist and she is incredible.

0:16:59 > 0:17:03She somehow, like, massages the injury out of your body.

0:17:05 > 0:17:10In my solo, yes, I did... I did hurt my chin a couple times.

0:17:13 > 0:17:15They love the spider. Every single time I do it

0:17:15 > 0:17:18I feel like it goes quiet like, they're like, "Ohhh."

0:17:18 > 0:17:21I'm like, "I hope that's a good thing."

0:17:23 > 0:17:25In Jordan's solo, she does a lot of salsa,

0:17:25 > 0:17:30so we'll all go back and salsa dance with each other, look at her

0:17:30 > 0:17:34and she looks over in the solo, so she can see us right in the wing.

0:17:34 > 0:17:36We mess around with each other, you know.

0:17:36 > 0:17:41Competing with the boys is always a big thing for me. You know?

0:17:41 > 0:17:45Because they do their flips and so on but I have my flip, so...

0:17:45 > 0:17:48I guarantee you, if I told Jordan to become a break dancer,

0:17:48 > 0:17:53she'd be full-out battling, B-boys. Like, she's crazy like that.

0:17:53 > 0:17:54Yeah, bring it, boys, eugh!

0:18:06 > 0:18:10# Little princess got you running in circles

0:18:10 > 0:18:14# Again, you know it's me

0:18:14 > 0:18:17# And now you look like you're living in a circus

0:18:17 > 0:18:20# Oh, I know you'll see

0:18:24 > 0:18:26# Come here and show me all your moves

0:18:26 > 0:18:28# The way you bump and grove

0:18:28 > 0:18:32# I want to feel what you feel when you're on the floor

0:18:32 > 0:18:35# Babe, he's got you running round and now you're falling up and down

0:18:35 > 0:18:41# I can't let you see until I know what's going on and on

0:18:41 > 0:18:44AND THE BEAT KICKS IN

0:18:44 > 0:18:47# Want you to want me like I want you

0:18:47 > 0:18:52# Cos I know what to do

0:18:52 > 0:18:55# I bet you can't survive and here I'm more...

0:18:59 > 0:19:03# Uh-uh-uh-oh, uh-uh-uh-oh

0:19:07 > 0:19:11# Uh-uh-uh-oh, uh-uh-uh-oh

0:19:11 > 0:19:13# Little princess

0:19:13 > 0:19:15# Got you running in circles

0:19:15 > 0:19:17# Again, you know it's me

0:19:19 > 0:19:22# And now you look like you're living in a circus

0:19:22 > 0:19:25# Oh, I know you'll see

0:19:25 > 0:19:29# You'll see, you'll see you'll see, see, see, see... #

0:19:29 > 0:19:33CHEERING

0:19:37 > 0:19:40# Come on and take a chance and see

0:19:40 > 0:19:43# Where is it now? Where is it now?

0:19:44 > 0:19:46# Where is it now?

0:19:46 > 0:19:48# Where is it now? #

0:19:50 > 0:19:52APPLAUSE

0:19:52 > 0:19:55- Done!- 45 more to go.- 27 more cities.

0:19:56 > 0:19:59# From the first time that I saw you

0:19:59 > 0:20:02# There was something that took me by surprise

0:20:02 > 0:20:03# And then I fell

0:20:03 > 0:20:08# Oh, yeah, I fell for you...#

0:20:08 > 0:20:12On the bus, you're living very closely with all these people.

0:20:12 > 0:20:14There's the front living room.

0:20:14 > 0:20:16You know, we've got a couple of couches and a TV.

0:20:16 > 0:20:19- We've got a fridge here, fridge here.- Freezer.- Microwave.

0:20:19 > 0:20:21Yeah, thermostat, you need that.

0:20:21 > 0:20:24We all have our own bunks and then we have the...

0:20:25 > 0:20:29Tiny little bunks to just kind of lay in your coffin.

0:20:29 > 0:20:31So we've got three here, boom, one, two, three.

0:20:31 > 0:20:34On each side, three, three, so it's three, six,

0:20:34 > 0:20:36nine, twelve people can fit in this bus.

0:20:36 > 0:20:40- It gets kind of tight here but we only ever really sleep here.- Yeah.

0:20:40 > 0:20:41You know what?

0:20:41 > 0:20:44- The thing about the coffins is... - We're calling them coffins!

0:20:44 > 0:20:46..that is your own space. You know what I mean?

0:20:46 > 0:20:48So if you want it messy, that's fine,

0:20:48 > 0:20:49cos that's the only space that's yours.

0:20:49 > 0:20:51Much more comfortable than you would think.

0:20:51 > 0:20:54Actually, believe it or not. Hey, are we in the back?

0:20:54 > 0:20:57The back living room also has couches and a TV, so...

0:20:57 > 0:20:59- It's not that bad.- Yeah.

0:20:59 > 0:21:00Boom, boom. We make it rain in here.

0:21:00 > 0:21:02So here is our back lounge.

0:21:02 > 0:21:04This is usually where the guys kind of hang out.

0:21:04 > 0:21:06This is where we have, like, group movies.

0:21:06 > 0:21:09- Lots of movies.- Yeah. - Every night, movies, movies, movies.

0:21:09 > 0:21:11Oh, my gosh.

0:21:11 > 0:21:14What I find difficult is like not having a private space.

0:21:14 > 0:21:16Like, I like to read my book before I go to sleep but

0:21:16 > 0:21:20there's always so much happening, people are watching movies.

0:21:20 > 0:21:22The boys usually stay up late

0:21:22 > 0:21:25and talk like either in the back room of the bus or the front room.

0:21:25 > 0:21:27- There's been one, a couple... - I mean, you know what?

0:21:27 > 0:21:29..moments where we've been up too late

0:21:29 > 0:21:31- and we've been kind of loud but... - Yeah, yeah.

0:21:31 > 0:21:34So, I mean, we've had to tell them to be quiet a few times.

0:21:34 > 0:21:38Sometimes we'll be up at like, I don't know, really late

0:21:38 > 0:21:40and the girls are trying to go to bed and we're just laughing.

0:21:40 > 0:21:43Like the most energy, just cracking jokes.

0:21:43 > 0:21:45Turn the lights down, can you guys keep it down?

0:21:45 > 0:21:47How are you feeling? Are you blue?

0:21:49 > 0:21:50- Or orange?- Hmm.

0:21:50 > 0:21:56When all three guys are together, we get on a certain, like, speed,

0:21:56 > 0:21:58I guess. It doesn't stop.

0:21:58 > 0:22:02We just get a lot of testosterone. We just need to

0:22:02 > 0:22:04be like moving and cracking jokes.

0:22:04 > 0:22:06I do have an older brother,

0:22:06 > 0:22:09so I know what it's like to be around that teto...

0:22:09 > 0:22:12- Excuse me, I can't say it. - Testosterone.

0:22:12 > 0:22:16- Isaac likes to sleep back here... - Yeah.- ..for some reason.

0:22:16 > 0:22:19Isaac sleeps until about 3.30 every day.

0:22:19 > 0:22:22This guy will sleep in. When I say sleep in, it's like IN.

0:22:22 > 0:22:24He's IN a coffin, like, literally.

0:22:24 > 0:22:28This is my favourite part of the whole bus. This is the washroom.

0:22:28 > 0:22:31- Luckily, there's been no stenches. - There's been no stenches, actually.

0:22:31 > 0:22:34- That is crazy.- It's pretty small.

0:22:34 > 0:22:36But, you know, we make it work.

0:22:36 > 0:22:39- Maybe the girls have a different opinion but...- Yeah.

0:22:43 > 0:22:46There's no showers on the bus, so we've got to shower here

0:22:46 > 0:22:47and we take turns. Whoo!

0:22:48 > 0:22:51So whoever's the smelliest, they go first.

0:22:51 > 0:22:53# Prime time, my time

0:22:53 > 0:22:55# Turn it up... #

0:22:55 > 0:22:56Where's my mascara?

0:22:56 > 0:22:59It's kind of just been like a massive slumber party

0:22:59 > 0:23:02with the whole cast cos we've been living together on the same bus.

0:23:02 > 0:23:05Jordan takes the most body showers. The most.

0:23:05 > 0:23:07And does not wash her hair, so...

0:23:07 > 0:23:09I don't want to damage it.

0:23:09 > 0:23:12- Jordan, cleanliness is key. - Can you guys stop arguing?

0:23:12 > 0:23:15I'm trying to do my hair.

0:23:15 > 0:23:17We've never really had that moment where

0:23:17 > 0:23:18we're like yelling at each other.

0:23:18 > 0:23:21If there's something we want to talk about we bring it up

0:23:21 > 0:23:23and we work through it.

0:23:23 > 0:23:25Guess what? Tonight's the night I'm washing my hair.

0:23:25 > 0:23:26Whoo!

0:23:27 > 0:23:30Whoo! Jordan!

0:23:30 > 0:23:33We definitely have become closer, believe it or not,

0:23:33 > 0:23:38the amount of time that we spend together has really affected us.

0:23:38 > 0:23:42They truly, truly are like my brothers and sisters now.

0:23:42 > 0:23:44If they weren't before, now they for sure are.

0:23:53 > 0:23:56The trio that we do... Well, at first, it was actually four of us.

0:23:56 > 0:24:01It was myself, Zac, Trevor and Isaac but Zac's not on the tour,

0:24:01 > 0:24:03so we made it into a trio, it's called Never Get Lost

0:24:03 > 0:24:06and it was choreographed by Luther Brown.

0:24:06 > 0:24:08Shoot, shoot, and then you're going to bring it in.

0:24:08 > 0:24:10You've got to really like control that, bring it in.

0:24:10 > 0:24:13Stupid question, do we look at that?

0:24:13 > 0:24:16Look at that. That's like the power is coming out of that chest.

0:24:16 > 0:24:18- You feel me? - The trio is a good number for us.

0:24:18 > 0:24:20We like to have a number with just the guys but Luther Brown,

0:24:20 > 0:24:23he's a huge hip-hop choreographer, so we love to perform it

0:24:23 > 0:24:26for that reason because he uses different choreography for us.

0:24:26 > 0:24:29The thing about this is, if it feels good, trust me, it's going

0:24:29 > 0:24:31- to look good.- Yeah.- Yes.

0:24:31 > 0:24:33If it feels whack, you know what that looks like.

0:24:33 > 0:24:36All of us kind of really wanted to work with him and, you know,

0:24:36 > 0:24:40they made it happen, so it was great to get to experience that, for sure.

0:26:19 > 0:26:23On stage, I love speaking on the mic. I love that part of the show.

0:26:23 > 0:26:25It's different for us.

0:26:25 > 0:26:29We haven't really done, ever, performances on stages before

0:26:29 > 0:26:32and we've never really talked on a mic before, really,

0:26:32 > 0:26:35so that, I think, is probably my favourite moment of the show.

0:26:35 > 0:26:37They were so good.

0:26:37 > 0:26:40- So good.- They were great but, erm...

0:26:40 > 0:26:42I mean, I know I'm not a tricker, per se

0:26:42 > 0:26:46- but I've been working on this trick for like the past year.- OK...

0:26:46 > 0:26:48And I think it's going to top every one of the tricks that they just

0:26:48 > 0:26:52- did on the stage, so... - Really?- Wow.

0:26:52 > 0:26:55Well, audience, do you want to see Brittany Raymond's new trick?

0:26:55 > 0:26:58CHEERING

0:26:58 > 0:27:00Ready, Britt?

0:27:00 > 0:27:01Everyone, whoo, Brittany!

0:27:06 > 0:27:08I was actually surprised when you came out with that front roll.

0:27:08 > 0:27:11- My trick is amazing. - That was insane.- Yeah...

0:27:11 > 0:27:15- I didn't expect that from you, man. - I'm so...

0:27:18 > 0:27:20Wait, wait, wait.

0:27:20 > 0:27:21What just happened?

0:27:21 > 0:27:23'Since the characters in the show are so competitive,

0:27:23 > 0:27:25'we thought it would be fun to have the boys get

0:27:25 > 0:27:28'upset at Brittany's somersault and start a competition.'

0:27:28 > 0:27:31THEY ARGUE

0:27:32 > 0:27:35Settle down.

0:27:38 > 0:27:41Take a moment.

0:27:41 > 0:27:46Audience, why don't we settle this with a friendly trick-off?

0:27:46 > 0:27:48CHEERING

0:27:55 > 0:27:56Whoa!

0:30:15 > 0:30:19Drumroll please, Jordan Clark.

0:30:19 > 0:30:23Brittany Raymond, is our winner, her front roll was just amazing.

0:30:23 > 0:30:25I worked so hard on that.

0:30:25 > 0:30:28'It's so funny, because there was one show where

0:30:28 > 0:30:29'I actually did the front roll on the stage'

0:30:29 > 0:30:32and, like, I actually hurt my neck. It's hard.

0:30:34 > 0:30:37- Like, I bruised my neck. - Not everyone can do it.- I guess not.

0:30:37 > 0:30:40Congratulations as well, but, actually, audience, I think

0:30:40 > 0:30:43we're going to show them how it's done.

0:30:43 > 0:30:45- Is that OK? - CHEERING

0:30:50 > 0:30:52I love this dance.

0:30:52 > 0:30:55I was so excited because it's, like, my favourite dance in,

0:30:59 > 0:31:01- and then I got to do it. - I mean, yeah, it is a lot of fun.

0:31:01 > 0:31:03There is a lot of head-whipping.

0:31:03 > 0:31:06Yeah, I mean, you get some strains in the neck. So, um...

0:31:06 > 0:31:08I mean, I actually texted Jordan one day and I was like,

0:31:08 > 0:31:10"I think I might have whiplash."

0:31:10 > 0:31:13She's like, "I think I have a concussion." I'm like, "From what?"

0:31:13 > 0:31:16She was like, "Our trio." I was like, "Did you hit your head?"

0:31:16 > 0:31:18She was like, "I don't know, the amount of head whips

0:31:18 > 0:31:21"that are happening, I'm pretty sure I have a concussion.

0:31:21 > 0:31:23"I can't see straight." I'm like, "Are you OK?"

0:33:14 > 0:33:19So Lamar and I get to do a hip-hop / ballet mashup duet.

0:33:19 > 0:33:23Yeah, it's just, like, a blend of who I am as a dancer

0:33:23 > 0:33:25and who Lamar is as a dancer. Then we come together.

0:33:25 > 0:33:30- We kind of just make... - Do a dance.- Make a dance.

0:33:30 > 0:33:32It came from season one when Daniel and I,

0:33:32 > 0:33:36we had a duet where we had to combine ballet and hip-hop.

0:33:36 > 0:33:38You are going to choreograph a ballet routine for me,

0:33:38 > 0:33:42and I am going to choreograph a hip-hop routine for you.

0:33:42 > 0:33:46We actually got to do it on the mall tour which we did last year, so we

0:33:46 > 0:33:49kind of went off of what Lamar and Brennan did,

0:33:49 > 0:33:52but we made it more fit for us.

0:33:52 > 0:33:54- It's a bigger version of what we did on the mall tour.- Yeah.

0:33:54 > 0:33:55What we do in the show.

0:33:55 > 0:33:57I don't have very many tricks under my belt,

0:33:57 > 0:34:02but we do do synchronised backhand springs. It's very scary for me.

0:34:02 > 0:34:04I do not like flipping, I do not like going backwards

0:34:04 > 0:34:07and not knowing where my hands are going. I don't like it.

0:34:07 > 0:34:10- But I'm getting better at it. - She does it every single show.

0:34:10 > 0:34:13She does it every single show, and she hits it perfectly.

0:34:13 > 0:34:17Ballet and hip-hop are two completely opposite dances.

0:34:17 > 0:34:20It's two different worlds. It's like Vancouver and St John's.

0:34:20 > 0:34:23- It's like two different ends of the spectrum.- Opposite ends.

0:34:23 > 0:34:26Yeah, so it's cool to kind of showcase that in the same number.

0:36:34 > 0:36:38It just feels like one of those dances you can kind of chill

0:36:38 > 0:36:40and do some nice choreo without having to

0:36:40 > 0:36:43worry about lots of tricks and things like that.

0:36:43 > 0:36:47That's the dance I do that lift with Jordan.

0:36:47 > 0:36:50I guess I don't really partner with anybody but Isaac,

0:36:50 > 0:36:54and we do some pretty cool lifts.

0:40:45 > 0:40:48Then usually we go on the stage at around 4.

0:40:51 > 0:40:54Then headspace goes into the show, "Let's do this, let's have fun."

0:40:58 > 0:40:59Then we do, like, a mic check.

0:43:58 > 0:44:00Oh, gosh.

0:44:00 > 0:44:03If I could have one superpower,

0:44:44 > 0:44:47Yo, I like the running man.

0:44:51 > 0:44:53I think everyone needs to answer this. Right?

0:44:53 > 0:44:56Everybody needs to answer it. All right, Jordan,

0:44:56 > 0:44:58what's your favourite dance move?

0:44:58 > 0:45:00Well, I'm sorry to take this away from Vic,

0:45:00 > 0:45:04but what's Victoria's favourite dance move?

0:45:04 > 0:45:05CROWD RESPONDS

0:45:05 > 0:45:09So Victoria and I are hair whip sisters. I think you should do it.

0:45:12 > 0:45:15- Yeah!- You know, it's always good to just do one hair whip,

0:45:15 > 0:45:17then you've got to give it the look.

0:45:17 > 0:45:19When the hair is not in your face.

0:45:19 > 0:45:21Brittany, what's your favourite?

0:45:21 > 0:45:23I've got hair in my face.

0:45:23 > 0:45:27Um, my favourite dance move. Mine is a little weird, so bear with me.

0:45:27 > 0:45:29It's two body rolls, and on the second one you

0:45:29 > 0:45:33throw your arms down, so you go roll, throw, roll throw.

0:45:33 > 0:45:36Then, as you do it, you have to do, like, a really weird,

0:45:36 > 0:45:38ugly face with it.

0:45:38 > 0:45:39So it looks like this.

0:45:41 > 0:45:43CHEERING

0:45:43 > 0:45:45Yeah, that's my favourite dance move.

0:45:51 > 0:45:54he taught me everything that I know, but he really can't dance at all.

0:45:54 > 0:45:57The only move he can really do is "raise the roof"

0:45:57 > 0:45:59so that's my favourite too.

0:46:01 > 0:46:03What about you?

0:46:03 > 0:46:06My favourite dance move is the Carlton.

0:46:45 > 0:46:50- I think I just tore my hip. - You good?

0:46:50 > 0:46:54Yeah, I'm good, I'm good. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.

0:46:54 > 0:46:57Really took it that far.

0:46:57 > 0:46:58What about you, Isaac?

0:46:58 > 0:47:01OK, my favourite dance move, it's very artistic.

0:47:01 > 0:47:05There's a lot of back-story behind it that inspires me to do the move.

0:47:05 > 0:47:06It's called the pizza dance.

0:47:07 > 0:47:09Here, I'll show you.

0:47:09 > 0:47:11Five, six, seven, eight.

0:47:11 > 0:47:15Serve the pizza. Serve the pizza. Serve the pizza. Serve the pizza.

0:47:15 > 0:47:17BEATBOXING

0:47:22 > 0:47:24Serve it up, serve it up!

0:47:24 > 0:47:26CHEERING

0:47:33 > 0:47:37So Isaac and I have been doing this duet for a couple of years now.

0:47:41 > 0:47:42So the name of the song is Inside Out.

0:47:42 > 0:47:46It's actually been playing on the radio, apparently, a couple times.

0:47:46 > 0:47:47- Yeah.- Which is crazy.- That's crazy.

0:47:47 > 0:47:50A couple of people told me that they heard our duet song on the radio.

0:47:50 > 0:47:52I was like, "What?!"

0:47:52 > 0:47:56I think for me, personally, just being a guy dancer,

0:47:56 > 0:47:57it's nice to do some lifts.

0:47:57 > 0:48:00And I love being lifted. It's so much fun. It's awesome.

0:48:00 > 0:48:02You're like flying in the air.

0:48:02 > 0:48:04That's probably my favourite as well.

0:48:04 > 0:48:07Even if we are in the middle of the lift and it's not exactly

0:48:07 > 0:48:09where it needs to be,

0:48:09 > 0:48:12we'll always find a way to make sure it's right by the end of the lift.

0:48:12 > 0:48:17I don't think anything has ever gone too wrong, knock on wood.

0:48:17 > 0:48:20Even if the girl messes up, it's still the guy's fault.

0:48:20 > 0:48:22It is always the guy's fault.

0:48:22 > 0:48:25It is your responsibility to make sure the lift goes right,

0:48:25 > 0:48:30so no matter what, you get her up there.

0:48:30 > 0:48:35Isaac and I are really good friends. I feel like...

0:48:35 > 0:48:39Isaac and I just have these jokes that we just take to the next level,

0:48:39 > 0:48:42so basically before we go on stage...

0:48:42 > 0:48:43It's either a really serious talk

0:48:43 > 0:48:47or it's a really funny laughing session that we have.

0:48:47 > 0:48:49We're just really silly together.

0:48:49 > 0:48:52We have that sort of chemistry on stage

0:48:52 > 0:48:54where it's good to work with each other.

0:48:54 > 0:48:55- Yeah.- Yeah.

0:48:55 > 0:48:57- We like working with each other.- Yeah.

0:48:57 > 0:48:59CHEERING

0:49:01 > 0:49:04SONG: Inside Out

0:49:12 > 0:49:13# Bang bang

0:49:13 > 0:49:17# The gun rang in my head again

0:49:17 > 0:49:20# The light, it shines

0:49:20 > 0:49:24# Nobody sees it

0:49:24 > 0:49:29# A bird circling over my head yet

0:49:29 > 0:49:32# The pitter patter

0:49:32 > 0:49:39# It draws my halo

0:49:39 > 0:49:42# Here your light is a ghost

0:49:42 > 0:49:44# On my mind, you weigh the most

0:49:44 > 0:49:48# Like a country at war

0:49:48 > 0:49:52# Trading towns, keeping score... #

0:49:52 > 0:49:56CHEERING

0:49:59 > 0:50:02# Cracks in the glass when you're moving too fast

0:50:02 > 0:50:04# And the time will turn inside out

0:50:04 > 0:50:07# The moral isn't lost on me

0:50:07 > 0:50:12# I know I'll never see the light

0:50:15 > 0:50:19# If I was brave, if I was stronger

0:50:19 > 0:50:22# Would you hold the candle longer?

0:50:22 > 0:50:25# If I burned it to the ground

0:50:25 > 0:50:29# If I fall, do I make a sound?

0:50:29 > 0:50:33# I can see your head in the crowd like a soul through the clouds

0:50:33 > 0:50:36# You're always turning me inside out

0:50:36 > 0:50:37# Gonna fall through the cracks in the glass

0:50:37 > 0:50:39# When you're moving too fast

0:50:39 > 0:50:41# And the time will turn inside out

0:50:41 > 0:50:43# The moral isn't lost on me

0:50:43 > 0:50:49# I know I'll never see the light. #

0:50:52 > 0:50:55CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:51:04 > 0:51:08My point solo is tiresome just because it's in the second act and

0:51:08 > 0:51:12it's the first number, then right after that, I have my duet with Trev

0:51:12 > 0:51:15and the finale, so I'm kind of like doing it so many times.

0:51:15 > 0:51:17Especially on point, it's very difficult especially

0:51:17 > 0:51:20because I haven't really been training in point as much,

0:51:20 > 0:51:23but it's really, really fun and it's kind of awesome to do

0:51:23 > 0:51:27something different because it's not as upbeat as the rest of the show.

0:51:27 > 0:51:29It's actually a more intense number,

0:51:29 > 0:51:32so it's kind of cool to have that contrast.

0:51:32 > 0:51:34I'm a little nervous for my point solo, to be honest,

0:51:34 > 0:51:37just because the stage is a little bit slippery.

0:51:40 > 0:51:41I have this resin, though.

0:51:41 > 0:51:44It's this rock stuff that you put in a container,

0:51:44 > 0:51:46then you crush it and it makes your point shoes nice and sticky

0:51:46 > 0:51:50so that you don't slide all over the stage, but still nervous cos,

0:51:50 > 0:51:53you know, I haven't done it full out too many times,

0:51:53 > 0:51:56but it should be good. Fingers crossed.

0:51:56 > 0:51:58CHEERING

0:52:04 > 0:52:07# So this is how it ends

0:52:10 > 0:52:15# No worlds left to avenge

0:52:17 > 0:52:21# All the talk of fire and brimstone has gone

0:52:21 > 0:52:24# And now we make amends

0:52:29 > 0:52:34# And all the talk of worlds we have to conquer

0:52:34 > 0:52:39# We will fight again

0:52:39 > 0:52:43# When the war is over

0:52:43 > 0:52:49# Don't take enemies

0:52:49 > 0:52:52# Don't take enemies for friends

0:53:04 > 0:53:08# When the war is over

0:53:08 > 0:53:12# When the war is over

0:53:12 > 0:53:16# When the war is over

0:53:16 > 0:53:19# When the war is over

0:53:19 > 0:53:23# When the war is over

0:53:23 > 0:53:27# When the war is over. #

0:53:30 > 0:53:33CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:53:39 > 0:53:43The little solo I have, it starts the duet I have with Brittany,

0:53:43 > 0:53:45another dance that we did at nationals.

0:53:54 > 0:53:57I was given a little bit of freedom with that solo,

0:53:57 > 0:53:59so I did the choreography for that.

0:53:59 > 0:54:01I took a little break-dancing approach.

0:54:01 > 0:54:04I thought it would be a cool moment to do a lot of floor work and stuff.

0:54:04 > 0:54:06Hey. What are you doing?

0:54:06 > 0:54:08I'm in the middle of an interview.

0:54:08 > 0:54:11You're doing an interview without me?

0:54:11 > 0:54:15Oh, like you tried to do the solo without me. OK.

0:54:15 > 0:54:18We're going to just join in there.

0:54:18 > 0:54:19What are we talking about?

0:54:19 > 0:54:21- OFF-SCREEN:- Your dance together.

0:54:21 > 0:54:24Oh! Our dance. It's great, I love it.

0:54:24 > 0:54:26He was talking about how much he loved the solo part.

0:54:26 > 0:54:29My favourite part is when I come into the dance.

0:54:34 > 0:54:36We were just talking about how much he loved the solo part.

0:54:36 > 0:54:39Yeah, it's really awesome, because, like, when I come in,

0:54:39 > 0:54:41fans don't expect it, so they just come out of nowhere.

0:54:41 > 0:54:43It's the best. Like, they love it, cos, you know.

0:54:43 > 0:54:46They love James, but James and Riley together is like...

0:54:46 > 0:54:49- They get upset at that part. - No, they love it.

0:54:51 > 0:54:54- Have you ever dropped Brittany? - Yes!- No, I haven't.

0:54:54 > 0:54:57- He did it once. - I have never actually dropped you.

0:54:57 > 0:54:59- I'm kidding.- Don't lie. - He actually hasn't.

0:54:59 > 0:55:00This is truthful here.

0:55:00 > 0:55:03We were doing a lift and I had to lean into it.

0:55:03 > 0:55:06He literally didn't hold me at all. I just fell on the ground.

0:55:06 > 0:55:08Oh, yeah. But, no, no, that was because

0:55:08 > 0:55:10we were in the middle of choreography.

0:55:10 > 0:55:13We were like, flowing, flowing. She was like, "Oh, yeah, boom."

0:55:13 > 0:55:15- I was like, "What?" - We were in it. We were doing it.

0:55:15 > 0:55:17No, we weren't doing it full out. But you went for it.

0:55:17 > 0:55:19We were. We were doing it.

0:55:19 > 0:55:22He doesn't know what he's talking about.

0:55:22 > 0:55:24What's your favourite part of the duet?

0:55:24 > 0:55:27I actually kind of like one of the lifts that we do.

0:55:27 > 0:55:29- Which one? That one? - Yeah.

0:55:33 > 0:55:35It's the last one, it's really, really hard,

0:55:35 > 0:55:37so when it's done, it's like...

0:55:37 > 0:55:38"Yes, we did it."

0:57:56 > 0:57:59Right now, I'm practising my solo for Oxygen.

0:57:59 > 0:58:04Oxygen was originally Isaac's solo song for season two.

0:58:04 > 0:58:06SONG: Oxygen

0:58:10 > 0:58:13But they gave it to me because they want to see what

0:58:13 > 0:58:16I can do with the song and the dubstep-y feel to the music.

0:58:19 > 0:58:21Depending on the city, I'll still perform the solo.

0:58:21 > 0:58:25We kind of switch on and off depending on, you know,

0:58:25 > 0:58:29if maybe Lamar's ankle hurts or my hip hurts today.

0:58:29 > 0:58:33You know, we'll kind of tag on and off of who does the solo.

0:58:33 > 0:58:37Isaac is all about spins, jumps, turns, legs,

0:58:37 > 0:58:41whereas I have a much more street, hip-hop flavour when I dance.

0:58:41 > 0:58:45So everyone kind of has their own, kind of, certain style.

0:58:49 > 0:58:52Now it's my turn to bring my style to that stage.

0:58:55 > 0:58:57You'll be able to do it.

0:58:57 > 0:58:59'Lamar and I, we do a lot of choreography together,

0:58:59 > 0:59:01'so when one of us has a piece to do,'

0:59:01 > 0:59:04we like to just help each other, cos we get inspired by each other.

0:59:04 > 0:59:07We have, like, two really different styles,

0:59:07 > 0:59:09but when we collab them, we can work so fast.

0:59:09 > 0:59:11He's just doing his solo just now,

0:59:11 > 0:59:14I thought I' just come up and help him.

0:59:14 > 0:59:16We get it done so quick. Plus, it's fun.

0:59:20 > 0:59:22It's great working with Trevor.

0:59:22 > 0:59:25We really excel in working together, you know?

0:59:25 > 0:59:27That's why people love The Next Step,

0:59:27 > 0:59:28because of how we come together.

0:59:38 > 0:59:39- Hey.- Yeah.

1:01:32 > 1:01:34'You don't ever get to see us teach.'

1:01:34 > 1:01:37- Both Isaac and I teach all the time.- Yeah.

1:01:37 > 1:01:40And it's something we really enjoy doing, so it's fun to go

1:01:40 > 1:01:45all across Canada and teach everyone steps that everyone can do.

1:01:45 > 1:01:48All right, you guys have been such an incredible audience

1:01:48 > 1:01:50all night watching us dance.

1:01:50 > 1:01:55Now it's time for you guys to get up and on your feet and dance with us.

1:01:55 > 1:01:58- A lot of the parents are very hesitant.- Yes.

1:01:58 > 1:02:00You can see them, so I come in on the mic and I'm like,

1:02:00 > 1:02:03"That means moms, that means dads..."

1:02:03 > 1:02:08That means grandmas, grandpas, uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters.

1:02:08 > 1:02:11Everyone on your feet, let's gooo!

1:02:13 > 1:02:16'A lot of the cities, there will be parents that won't

1:02:16 > 1:02:18'and they'll just sit there and let their kids do it.

1:02:18 > 1:02:21'I saw a few parents sitting down and I was like,'

1:02:21 > 1:02:24"Come on, guys," and instantly they were like, "All right, fine,"

1:02:24 > 1:02:26and they stood up right away.

1:02:26 > 1:02:31We are lucky enough to have the leader of the TNS Spirit Squad,

1:02:31 > 1:02:33Miss Jennie Pappas.

1:02:33 > 1:02:35Give her a hand.

1:02:37 > 1:02:39And she was lucky enough to get us

1:02:39 > 1:02:43two of the TNS Spirit Squad team-mates...

1:02:43 > 1:02:45Can I have Victoria and Logan out on the stage?

1:02:48 > 1:02:50We come out and we help...

1:02:50 > 1:02:52- We assist them.- It's pretty awesome.

1:02:52 > 1:02:54Basically so the kids can, like, mimic us,

1:02:54 > 1:02:56so if we go left, they go right.

1:02:56 > 1:03:00The first move, we start with this arm

1:03:00 > 1:03:03and all we're doing is pulling down and then we push down.

1:03:03 > 1:03:07'Having them up there, it just gives us, like, a second...'

1:03:07 > 1:03:11If we don't have to do this move, we can just watch and point at them.

1:03:11 > 1:03:16Dougie and Dougie and Dougie and Dougie. Yes!

1:03:16 > 1:03:19'Any time that everyone is just excited to dance with us'

1:03:19 > 1:03:22is awesome and there so many people who don't dance

1:03:22 > 1:03:25that come to see the show. Like, you don't have to be a dancer

1:03:25 > 1:03:27to learn the steps that we're doing.

1:03:27 > 1:03:30And now the fourth move in my section, OK,

1:03:30 > 1:03:34it's very, very important, OK? It's my favourite dance move.

1:03:34 > 1:03:37Do you guys remember what my favourite dance move is?

1:03:37 > 1:03:39AUDIENCE CHEERS

1:03:39 > 1:03:41Yeah, we're doing the pizza dance!

1:03:43 > 1:03:49So we just Dougie-d, here we go. Serve the pizza, serve the pizza.

1:03:49 > 1:03:52Is it Canadian pizza? Or Hawaiian pizza?

1:03:52 > 1:03:55Are you going to add green peppers to it? Maybe add some bacon?

1:03:55 > 1:03:57- Have a creamy garlic dipping sauce?- Isaac!

1:03:57 > 1:04:00Every time he gets super excited about the pizza dance

1:04:00 > 1:04:02and then we get distracted, you get hungry...

1:04:02 > 1:04:04- It's not cool! - I'm sorry I'm hungry.

1:04:04 > 1:04:07'Everyone wants to join in. I think it's, like, the first time'

1:04:07 > 1:04:10where we kind of break the wall of dancers and audience

1:04:10 > 1:04:14and it's the first time we get to be, like, with the audience

1:04:14 > 1:04:16for something, which is really cool.

1:04:58 > 1:05:01- It's really cool.- Yeah, it's like a big flash mob.- Yeah.

1:05:03 > 1:05:05I don't know about you guys, but I want to see if we can get

1:05:05 > 1:05:07the whole country dancing with us from coast to coast.

1:05:07 > 1:05:09Are you guys up for it?

1:05:11 > 1:05:14All right, everybody back on your feet. Let's do it!

1:05:14 > 1:05:16Five, six, seven, eight.

1:05:59 > 1:06:02'The pizza dance is going down in history, I feel it!'

1:06:02 > 1:06:04It's going viral. It's happening.

1:06:12 > 1:06:14The fans have been insane.

1:06:14 > 1:06:16- FAN:- We love The Next Step!

1:06:19 > 1:06:22Every show, you feel the different energy that they give us.

1:06:38 > 1:06:41and the same amount of appreciation.

1:06:41 > 1:06:43CROWD ROARS

1:06:43 > 1:06:44I can't even describe it.

1:06:44 > 1:06:48It's so crazy that 3,000 people feel the same as, you know,

1:06:48 > 1:06:50the 100 or 200 people.

1:06:53 > 1:06:55Even in some cities, like, they're quieter

1:06:55 > 1:06:57but you can tell that they appreciate us more.

1:06:57 > 1:07:00Like, they are watching us and they are so into us, like this.

1:07:00 > 1:07:03They are so intrigued. It's the most amazing thing.

1:07:04 > 1:07:08I remember specifically my solo, I'd go into this one part

1:07:08 > 1:07:12and I stay at this one corner and this one little girl was just...

1:07:12 > 1:07:13staring, so I was like...

1:07:15 > 1:07:17And she...just kind of had a moment like...

1:07:17 > 1:07:20- "Oh, you waved to me?!" - "Hi, hey, how's it going?"

1:07:20 > 1:07:22You know, and that's just really cool.

1:07:22 > 1:07:24It's really awesome just for them to see

1:07:24 > 1:07:28and almost feel like they've met us because we are closer to them.

1:07:28 > 1:07:30What's up, Saint John!

1:07:32 > 1:07:36We're not on a TV, we're right there in front of them and for us

1:07:36 > 1:07:40to see them and them to see us is just a really awesome connection.

1:07:40 > 1:07:42It's really cool.

1:07:42 > 1:07:45- Hi! What's your name? - I like your hair.- Oh, thank you!

1:07:45 > 1:07:48What's your name? Oh, we're taking a photo? OK.

1:07:48 > 1:07:53Hi, how are you guys? I'm Jordan. Nice to meet you.

1:07:53 > 1:07:56And what's your name? Sorry, I missed it. Brie?

1:07:58 > 1:08:01'Usually we don't leave the venue until, like, 11:30.'

1:08:01 > 1:08:02- Yeah, we leave later.- Yeah.

1:08:05 > 1:08:08The fans have been waiting outside the venue sometimes near our bus

1:08:08 > 1:08:11and we go out and we get to see them and actually talk to them and take

1:08:11 > 1:08:14- pictures with them and stuff. That's been pretty crazy.- Yeah.

1:08:14 > 1:08:16And sometimes they even write on our bus.

1:08:16 > 1:08:19Yeah, if the bus is dirty cos the bus is really dirty,

1:08:19 > 1:08:23- they'll write, like...notes. - "I heart Michelle, I heart Amanda."

1:08:23 > 1:08:25- Stuff like that.- It's really cute.

1:08:25 > 1:08:28You guys have any questions or anything?

1:08:28 > 1:08:30Anything that you've been dying to ask?

1:08:30 > 1:08:32Want to come home with me?

1:08:33 > 1:08:36Yeah, I mean, can I get a drive? We haven't slept in a real bed

1:08:36 > 1:08:40- for a while.- Yeah.- We just slept in a real bed last night.

1:08:40 > 1:08:43A real bed would be really nice.

1:08:43 > 1:08:47'Our first show, the lights came up and it was just so large and

1:08:47 > 1:08:52'enormous and I was so taken aback by it and I came off the stage

1:08:52 > 1:08:56'and...could barely breathe because of the effects that they put on us

1:08:56 > 1:08:59'and our tour manager, she was like, "Are you OK?" I was like...'

1:09:00 > 1:09:04"Just, it's all good, I'm not going to cry, that was amazing!"

1:09:04 > 1:09:08I remember when we were in Montreal, we were walking to our buses

1:09:08 > 1:09:11and there were a couple of fans waiting and I was like, "Hold on...

1:09:11 > 1:09:13"It's been, like, three hours since the show."

1:09:13 > 1:09:17And they were waiting outside the whole time, so it kind of

1:09:17 > 1:09:21blew me away that people will actually wait that long to meet us.

1:09:21 > 1:09:23That's why I love this tour so much, that's why I am loving

1:09:23 > 1:09:26performing on stage, because you actually get to see the fans,

1:09:26 > 1:09:29you get to watch them enjoying it, you see the reactions and stuff.

1:09:29 > 1:09:30It becomes so much more real.

1:09:30 > 1:09:33Yes, they are watching us dance, but, in the same way,

1:09:33 > 1:09:35we're watching the fans, too. We're watching them react,

1:09:35 > 1:09:38we're watching them enjoy it, which is really special.
