0:00:04 > 0:00:05I'm Stacey Dooley.
0:00:05 > 0:00:08I love animals and I hate seeing them sick.
0:00:08 > 0:00:12But when they are, thankfully they can come to places like this,
0:00:12 > 0:00:15where amazing vets will go the extra mile to fix them up.
0:00:16 > 0:00:18Meet rookie vet, Rory.
0:00:18 > 0:00:20I do love a friendly rabbit.
0:00:20 > 0:00:23Smells like dog sick! Yuck!
0:00:23 > 0:00:25Every pet's best friend, Cheryl.
0:00:25 > 0:00:27Hello.
0:00:27 > 0:00:28Oww!
0:00:28 > 0:00:29That really hurt!
0:00:30 > 0:00:33The coolest vet in town, Cat.
0:00:33 > 0:00:35Come on, honey! That's fine,
0:00:35 > 0:00:37you just sweep the floor while you come on in.
0:00:37 > 0:00:40And always caring, gentle, James.
0:00:40 > 0:00:42Aren't you gorgeous?
0:00:42 > 0:00:43Oh!
0:00:47 > 0:00:49They're the vets with The Pets Factor.
0:00:56 > 0:00:58Coming up on today's show...
0:00:59 > 0:01:03James operates on Hepzi the rabbit, and has a heart stopping moment.
0:01:03 > 0:01:05She's just decided to stop breathing.
0:01:06 > 0:01:10For Rory, it's lights out to see Poppy's poorly eye.
0:01:10 > 0:01:13That's a puncture wound, and that is what is causing her all her issues.
0:01:14 > 0:01:18- Sadie?- And Cat the vet has a dirty job on her hands
0:01:18 > 0:01:20cleaning out this spaniel's floppy ears.
0:01:20 > 0:01:22Oh, and it's stinky, isn't it?
0:01:22 > 0:01:23Phew!
0:01:23 > 0:01:26But first, let's head over to James in Bristol.
0:01:28 > 0:01:31- Hi there.- He always has his hands full fixing up
0:01:31 > 0:01:32the city's poorly pets.
0:01:32 > 0:01:34Oh!
0:01:34 > 0:01:35From loving lurchers...
0:01:35 > 0:01:37Oh, you're a very nice boy!
0:01:37 > 0:01:38..to cuddly cats...
0:01:38 > 0:01:41- Oh, hello!- ..and even tiny tortoises.
0:01:41 > 0:01:44Oh, look at him!
0:01:46 > 0:01:48So many gorgeous pets come through the door,
0:01:48 > 0:01:50I just cannot resist a sneaky cuddle.
0:01:52 > 0:01:56Today, it's fluffball bunny Hepzi that's drawing in the crowds.
0:01:56 > 0:01:58Hi!
0:01:58 > 0:01:59And what a surprise,
0:01:59 > 0:02:02James has found the time to pop in for a quick squeeze.
0:02:03 > 0:02:07Hello! She's so fluffy, isn't she?
0:02:07 > 0:02:11Owner Ellen has brought Hepzi in for her annual pedicure.
0:02:11 > 0:02:14That's where she's having her claws shaped and trimmed.
0:02:15 > 0:02:20Like any self-respecting lop-eared Angora Lionhead cross,
0:02:20 > 0:02:22Hepzi loves a pampering.
0:02:22 > 0:02:26At home in her deluxe summerhouse, she enjoys top to tail,
0:02:26 > 0:02:285-star treatment.
0:02:29 > 0:02:33Although when it comes to keeping her nails in tiptop condition,
0:02:33 > 0:02:35it calls for a trip to the salon.
0:02:35 > 0:02:37I mean, the vet's.
0:02:37 > 0:02:39She's so fluffy!
0:02:39 > 0:02:43And looking after Hepzi today is her number one fan, vet nurse Claire.
0:02:44 > 0:02:46Vet nurses are a crucial part to our team,
0:02:46 > 0:02:49and Claire has been here for 12 years, and believe me,
0:02:49 > 0:02:51she knows her rabbits from her Rottweilers.
0:02:51 > 0:02:53She probably could teach me a thing or two!
0:02:53 > 0:02:56The first thing I've got to do is find your feet.
0:02:56 > 0:02:58They do look like they've been cut recently,
0:02:58 > 0:02:59cos they've got quite a square edge.
0:02:59 > 0:03:02I trimmed the edges, but I always get too scared to go any further.
0:03:02 > 0:03:04This needs a steady hand.
0:03:05 > 0:03:08One wrong snip could cause Hepzi a lot of pain.
0:03:11 > 0:03:12But Claire is a pro.
0:03:12 > 0:03:16In the wild, bunnies would naturally wear their nails down
0:03:16 > 0:03:18by digging in rough ground.
0:03:18 > 0:03:20But we sort of pamper our bunnies,
0:03:20 > 0:03:23we pamper our bunnies with their own summerhouses
0:03:23 > 0:03:24and their own carpet and...
0:03:24 > 0:03:27She has a sandpit!
0:03:27 > 0:03:28She genuinely has a sandpit.
0:03:31 > 0:03:33Back to looking her beautiful best,
0:03:33 > 0:03:35Hepzi can return to her life of luxury.
0:03:39 > 0:03:42A new day and another horde of pets to see.
0:03:45 > 0:03:48Hang on, those two look familiar.
0:03:48 > 0:03:51That's Ellen and fluffy bunny Hepzi.
0:03:51 > 0:03:52- Hello.- Hiya.- How are you?
0:03:52 > 0:03:54- I'm good, thank you.- Oh, we saw you...
0:03:54 > 0:03:56- Yesterday.- You're back, yeah.
0:03:56 > 0:03:58Yeah, I found a lump on her chest.
0:03:58 > 0:04:01Oh, dear, OK. Is that just something new, have you seen it before?
0:04:01 > 0:04:04- I've never noticed it before. - Have you not? Oh, OK.
0:04:04 > 0:04:05So, shall we have a look?
0:04:05 > 0:04:07- Yeah.- OK, come on through.
0:04:09 > 0:04:10Ellen has done the right thing.
0:04:10 > 0:04:14You should always check a lump or bump as soon as you find it, really.
0:04:17 > 0:04:18Right, where am I going?
0:04:18 > 0:04:20If you lift her up onto her back legs,
0:04:20 > 0:04:22it's literally where your hands will be.
0:04:22 > 0:04:23- Let's have a look.- Right in the middle.
0:04:24 > 0:04:28Oh, there, OK. It almost feels there could be a ball of hair, doesn't it?
0:04:28 > 0:04:31That it's just matted up. But actually, I don't think it is,
0:04:31 > 0:04:33I agree, I think it is a lump.
0:04:33 > 0:04:36There is actually a little bit of blood coming through there as well,
0:04:36 > 0:04:37a little bit of discharge from it.
0:04:39 > 0:04:42It could be a cyst, or it could be an abscess, or if I'm honest,
0:04:42 > 0:04:45I'm a bit worried it could be something a bit more serious
0:04:45 > 0:04:48so I'm not prepared to take any chances.
0:04:48 > 0:04:50For the fact that she is otherwise so well,
0:04:50 > 0:04:52I would probably suggest we remove it.
0:04:52 > 0:04:55- OK. Yup.- Which, I know is a little bit scary with bunnies,
0:04:55 > 0:04:57with their anaesthetic risk and things,
0:04:57 > 0:05:00but I do think getting rid of it is probably our best course of action.
0:05:00 > 0:05:03I think so, yeah.
0:05:08 > 0:05:12Join us later as James gets to the root of Hepzi's nasty problem.
0:05:21 > 0:05:23Let's go to Sheffield to see Cat the vet.
0:05:25 > 0:05:28If there is one thing you need as a vet, it's a strong stomach.
0:05:28 > 0:05:33Oh, yes, we see blood, guts, gore, goo.
0:05:33 > 0:05:35I love a bit of goo!
0:05:39 > 0:05:43But there is one bodily fluid we get covered in all the time.
0:05:43 > 0:05:44You're not joking!
0:05:44 > 0:05:48Even pet tortoise, Colin, is getting in on the action today.
0:05:49 > 0:05:51- Has he weed on me?- Yeah.
0:05:51 > 0:05:52Oh, Colin!
0:05:54 > 0:05:57Colin, that's not very nice!
0:05:57 > 0:05:58I don't mind the gross stuff.
0:05:58 > 0:06:00People think I'm weird.
0:06:00 > 0:06:02Sadie? Come on in, darling.
0:06:02 > 0:06:05Well, today it might be your day, Cat, because Helen's
0:06:05 > 0:06:08springer spaniel, Sadie, has something nasty lurking
0:06:08 > 0:06:09in her lugholes.
0:06:10 > 0:06:12When did you first notice they were a problem?
0:06:12 > 0:06:15Well, it has been an ongoing problem.
0:06:15 > 0:06:17She's had quite a few ear infections.
0:06:17 > 0:06:19Oh, my darling! Yes, they are a bit gooey, aren't they?
0:06:19 > 0:06:22It's a real problem for the dogs with the floppy ears.
0:06:22 > 0:06:25They are so hairy, the air just can't get into them.
0:06:25 > 0:06:29You can see that all the skin is really thickened and really dry,
0:06:29 > 0:06:33look at that. Then we've got all of this goo down there.
0:06:33 > 0:06:35Oh, and it's stinky, isn't it?
0:06:35 > 0:06:37Phew!
0:06:40 > 0:06:42Poor Sadie has got one of the worst ear infections
0:06:42 > 0:06:45I've seen in a long time. She must feel really awful,
0:06:45 > 0:06:47so we are going to get her checked in straightaway
0:06:47 > 0:06:49and get it all cleaned out.
0:06:49 > 0:06:52So, you can come and stay with me for the day, how do you fancy that?
0:06:54 > 0:06:57No answer. You don't look that enthusiastic, my love.
0:06:59 > 0:07:02- Come on, then, Sadie.- But a deep clean like this...
0:07:02 > 0:07:03Right, my darling.
0:07:03 > 0:07:04Off to sleep, good girl.
0:07:04 > 0:07:07..is not going to be very pleasant for poor Sadie.
0:07:08 > 0:07:10This is why we put them under a general anaesthetic,
0:07:10 > 0:07:13because it can be as painful as actual surgery.
0:07:17 > 0:07:20Stick around, as Cat discovers that it's not just
0:07:20 > 0:07:22Sadie's waxy ears that are a worry.
0:07:22 > 0:07:25Look how red her tummy is, just there.
0:07:25 > 0:07:26That is not normal.
0:07:28 > 0:07:30And Rory deals with a feisty feline...
0:07:30 > 0:07:32Does she always do this a little bit?
0:07:32 > 0:07:34..who doesn't want his help.
0:07:34 > 0:07:35Oh, no, you go back in there.
0:07:39 > 0:07:42We are back with James in Bristol.
0:07:42 > 0:07:47Remember Hepzi, the lop-eared Angora Lionhead cross bunny?
0:07:47 > 0:07:50This lady of leisure is used to a life of luxury.
0:07:51 > 0:07:54But today, she's been rushed in to see vet James,
0:07:54 > 0:07:57to deal with a serious looking lump hidden under her fur.
0:07:59 > 0:08:01He needs to remove it straight away,
0:08:01 > 0:08:04with the help of Hepzi's biggest fan, vet nurse, Claire.
0:08:05 > 0:08:07Oh, Hepzi.
0:08:07 > 0:08:10You're so fluffy, you can't see it.
0:08:10 > 0:08:13We did her nails yesterday, but we did not see this.
0:08:15 > 0:08:18Now James has shaved through Hepzi's mounds of fluff,
0:08:18 > 0:08:20he can see the lump clearly.
0:08:20 > 0:08:22And it's not a pretty sight.
0:08:22 > 0:08:25Ugh! Look at that.
0:08:25 > 0:08:29This is actually quite ulcerous, it's not very nice underneath there.
0:08:31 > 0:08:34So, we thought initially that this could just be a cyst, but actually,
0:08:34 > 0:08:37now I've clipped it up, it does feel a little bit more solid than that.
0:08:37 > 0:08:39So, the best thing to do,
0:08:39 > 0:08:43let's get the lump off and then we'll make a decision from there.
0:08:43 > 0:08:46To remove the lump, James has to operate,
0:08:46 > 0:08:49which means Hepzi needs to be sedated for even longer.
0:08:51 > 0:08:54The problem with small animals like rabbits is that the longer they are
0:08:54 > 0:08:57under anaesthetic, the greater the risk that they won't wake up.
0:08:57 > 0:09:00So, this is pretty high pressure.
0:09:00 > 0:09:03But as Claire tops up Hepzi's anaesthetic,
0:09:03 > 0:09:05she takes a turn for the worse.
0:09:05 > 0:09:07Just since I've given her a second lot of sedation,
0:09:07 > 0:09:09she's just decided to stop breathing.
0:09:11 > 0:09:14We are not panicking, but we just
0:09:14 > 0:09:17need to really keep a close eye on her.
0:09:20 > 0:09:21This does happen with rabbits.
0:09:21 > 0:09:24They are really difficult to operate on.
0:09:24 > 0:09:26So, it's really important that nobody panics
0:09:26 > 0:09:28so we can get this sorted out as quickly as possible.
0:09:31 > 0:09:34But thankfully, there's soon signs of life.
0:09:34 > 0:09:35I think that was a little breath.
0:09:35 > 0:09:38- Yeah, that was a little breath.- Has she started?
0:09:38 > 0:09:39- Yeah.- Good.
0:09:42 > 0:09:44Thank goodness.
0:09:44 > 0:09:47Bunnies always like to test the team.
0:09:47 > 0:09:48She's a bit more stable now.
0:09:49 > 0:09:51So, I'm going to continue.
0:09:51 > 0:09:53I think speed is of the essence here, isn't it?
0:09:53 > 0:09:56Let's just try and crack on and get this done as quick as possible.
0:09:58 > 0:10:01With no time to waste, James gets to work.
0:10:02 > 0:10:04Looking at that, if that was in a dog or cat
0:10:04 > 0:10:07you might think it's quite a small lump but actually,
0:10:07 > 0:10:09when you think about the size of a rabbit, proportionately,
0:10:09 > 0:10:11that's actually quite big.
0:10:11 > 0:10:15It's the equivalent of maybe finding a tennis-ball sized lump
0:10:15 > 0:10:16on our bodies, maybe,
0:10:16 > 0:10:20so it's definitely a good idea to get rid of it.
0:10:20 > 0:10:22If you're squeamish, look away now.
0:10:24 > 0:10:29So, I'm just breaking down these tissues that are connecting the lump
0:10:29 > 0:10:31to the underlying fat in the muscle.
0:10:33 > 0:10:38Right, we can breathe, breathe a sigh of relief now.
0:10:38 > 0:10:41It's a really good idea to regularly check your pets over for lumps
0:10:41 > 0:10:44or bumps because the sooner they are picked up, the better.
0:10:45 > 0:10:48The fact that Ellen has found this lump so early
0:10:48 > 0:10:52I suppose you could say, she has saved Hepzi's life.
0:10:55 > 0:10:57And thanks to James and the team,
0:10:57 > 0:11:01it looks like this fluff ball will be back with her owner in no time.
0:11:04 > 0:11:06At the end of the day, we all just want the same thing, don't we?
0:11:06 > 0:11:08We all just want Hepzi to come through,
0:11:08 > 0:11:09a nice smooth operation in there,
0:11:09 > 0:11:13and get her home later on today, that's all anyone wants.
0:11:13 > 0:11:15Actually, I want Hepzi to come home with me.
0:11:15 > 0:11:16Yeah!
0:11:16 > 0:11:18I want Hepzi to come home with me today.
0:11:22 > 0:11:25Bad luck, Clare, Hepzi is going back to her real home.
0:11:26 > 0:11:30But there's still time for this very important bunny to get spoiled
0:11:30 > 0:11:32with a five-star suite in the office.
0:11:35 > 0:11:37Hello, pickle.
0:11:37 > 0:11:41Hello. We do get quite attached to our patients because
0:11:41 > 0:11:44she is a cool rabbit. She's got a personality.
0:11:55 > 0:11:58Time to see Rory the vet in London.
0:12:01 > 0:12:03I love cats.
0:12:03 > 0:12:04You're so lovely.
0:12:04 > 0:12:07You are! Especially the well-behaved ones.
0:12:07 > 0:12:08You did so well.
0:12:08 > 0:12:11But I cannot resist the challenge of the naughty ones, too.
0:12:12 > 0:12:14Oh, you fierce, fierce lion.
0:12:16 > 0:12:17Not playing ball today, mate?
0:12:17 > 0:12:20Oh, there we go, look at that, he's flicked it all everywhere.
0:12:20 > 0:12:22Because he scratched my hand.
0:12:22 > 0:12:26And Rory's latest naughty feline patient has been brought in
0:12:26 > 0:12:28by sisters, Ruby and Pearl.
0:12:28 > 0:12:30She does scratch a lot.
0:12:30 > 0:12:34And she's very mischievous.
0:12:34 > 0:12:36Poppy is quite the explorer.
0:12:37 > 0:12:40And will fight with just about anything she comes across.
0:12:42 > 0:12:46But now and again, that gets her into real trouble.
0:12:49 > 0:12:53And this time, she's come home with a mysteriously sore eye.
0:12:53 > 0:12:56Cue Poppy's next adventure to the vet's.
0:12:57 > 0:13:00Poppy, please.
0:13:00 > 0:13:02So, how can I help, guys?
0:13:02 > 0:13:04Her eye's infected.
0:13:04 > 0:13:06Oh, dear. Do you know if anything caused it?
0:13:06 > 0:13:09Can you think of anything off the top of your head?
0:13:09 > 0:13:12No, we think it came from outside.
0:13:12 > 0:13:13Poppy might have a sore eye...
0:13:16 > 0:13:19But it's not stopping her putting up a fight with Rory.
0:13:19 > 0:13:21Does she always do this a little bit?
0:13:21 > 0:13:23- Yeah.- She's always like this, is she?
0:13:23 > 0:13:26- Yeah.- OK.
0:13:26 > 0:13:27That's it, that's it, that's it.
0:13:27 > 0:13:29I know, you go back in there, then.
0:13:29 > 0:13:32You have a little chill. You have a little chill out.
0:13:32 > 0:13:36Rule number one of being a vet, always come home
0:13:36 > 0:13:38with all your fingers.
0:13:38 > 0:13:40Now Poppy looks to be calming down,
0:13:40 > 0:13:44Rory needs to investigate what is making her eye so sore.
0:13:44 > 0:13:48We are going to pop some dye in that eye.
0:13:50 > 0:13:52Poppy's eye might look fine...
0:13:52 > 0:13:55We'll give it a go, oh, there we go, look at that, perfect.
0:13:55 > 0:13:59That was good, wasn't it? But this dye will show up any problems.
0:13:59 > 0:14:01Can you see the centre of her eye?
0:14:01 > 0:14:02- Yeah.- Can you see how it's green?
0:14:02 > 0:14:04- Yeah.- Can you see that little round thing?
0:14:04 > 0:14:06- Yeah.- That's a puncture wound, that's what's called
0:14:06 > 0:14:07a corneal ulcer.
0:14:08 > 0:14:12Something really sharp has pierced a hole in the middle of Poppy's eye.
0:14:12 > 0:14:16I think she's had a fight with another cat and probably got a claw
0:14:16 > 0:14:18right in her eye. Ouch.
0:14:18 > 0:14:21I'm just going to turn the lights off and watch the eye.
0:14:21 > 0:14:25- See that?- Yeah.- Now you can see it really clearly,
0:14:25 > 0:14:29and that is what's causing her all that issue.
0:14:29 > 0:14:31OK. Perfect.
0:14:31 > 0:14:33Now, it does look quite deep.
0:14:33 > 0:14:36If we don't treat that and if we don't get on top of it
0:14:36 > 0:14:39nice and quickly, it can, what's called, "melt."
0:14:39 > 0:14:40OK.
0:14:40 > 0:14:42And I do really mean melt!
0:14:42 > 0:14:45The front of her eye could just melt away and even burst.
0:14:47 > 0:14:49But now Rory's found the problem,
0:14:49 > 0:14:53these antibiotic drops should help it heal.
0:14:53 > 0:14:55Now, hopefully, she's not going to be too annoyed.
0:14:56 > 0:14:59So, if you just go behind, she can't see it coming
0:14:59 > 0:15:01and then you can just... I know, sweetie...
0:15:01 > 0:15:03..do that.
0:15:05 > 0:15:08I hope Pearl, Ruby and mum Elodie were paying attention,
0:15:08 > 0:15:11as they'll need to do this every day for a week.
0:15:11 > 0:15:14- So, you know what you are doing with the drops?- Yes.- Great.
0:15:14 > 0:15:16Keep a close eye and keep her in for me and I'll see you in a week and
0:15:16 > 0:15:19- we'll have another look. See you later, guys.- See you.
0:15:27 > 0:15:28There you go.
0:15:28 > 0:15:31Time to get back to Sheffield with Cat
0:15:31 > 0:15:33and the spaniel with the bunged up ears.
0:15:34 > 0:15:38Those gruesome waxy lugholes need flushing out.
0:15:38 > 0:15:42It's a mucky job that's even going to put gore-loving Cat to the test.
0:15:42 > 0:15:45It's just utterly clogged.
0:15:45 > 0:15:47Completely full of wax.
0:15:48 > 0:15:51But before Cat can get anywhere near the wax buried inside,
0:15:51 > 0:15:55she needs to tackle the layers on the outside.
0:15:55 > 0:15:57Just getting out some of the worst bits of the wax.
0:15:57 > 0:16:00Although I would be very careful about doing that at home,
0:16:00 > 0:16:02it's a job I would probably leave to the professionals.
0:16:03 > 0:16:05If you're squeamish, look away now!
0:16:06 > 0:16:11Yes, I'm quite happy to leave that horrible job to pros like you, Cat.
0:16:11 > 0:16:15Look at that. Imagine having all of that down your ears.
0:16:18 > 0:16:20Golly, it really smells, doesn't it?
0:16:21 > 0:16:25Poor old Sadie, and your nose is twice as sensitive as mine
0:16:25 > 0:16:26and a lot closer to your ears.
0:16:27 > 0:16:30Time for Cat to venture deep inside.
0:16:30 > 0:16:31Right, let's start flushing.
0:16:33 > 0:16:36She needs to use this massive syringe to inject fluid
0:16:36 > 0:16:39right down into the ear canal.
0:16:39 > 0:16:42This will loosen all that goo so she can clean it away.
0:16:43 > 0:16:47It's a long time since I've seen ears as bad as Sadie's.
0:16:47 > 0:16:48It just isn't right.
0:16:48 > 0:16:53Sadie has actually got some really sore, thickened skin.
0:16:53 > 0:16:55Look how red her tummy is just there.
0:16:55 > 0:16:57That is not normal.
0:16:57 > 0:17:00That just starts to tell is that it's not just
0:17:00 > 0:17:03a straightforward ear infection.
0:17:04 > 0:17:06Cat suspects Sadie has a skin allergy
0:17:06 > 0:17:08that is at the root of her problem.
0:17:08 > 0:17:12What we're doing is taking a swab of the ear,
0:17:12 > 0:17:14and that goes in this little tube.
0:17:14 > 0:17:18And the lab will be able to tell me exactly what bacteria is growing
0:17:18 > 0:17:21in Sadie's ears, so I can pick exactly the right medicine
0:17:21 > 0:17:22to make them better.
0:17:24 > 0:17:26And with her other ear flushed out,
0:17:26 > 0:17:29it's finally light at the end of the tunnel.
0:17:29 > 0:17:31It's an awful lot cleaner now.
0:17:31 > 0:17:33Once those lab results are back,
0:17:33 > 0:17:35she'll get the treatment for her skin condition
0:17:35 > 0:17:37that she desperately needs.
0:17:39 > 0:17:41There she is.
0:17:41 > 0:17:42All you want to do is be off home.
0:17:42 > 0:17:44Yes.
0:17:44 > 0:17:48Well, I'm going to cook her a chicken and rice for her tea.
0:17:48 > 0:17:50And then she'll probably just have lots of fuss.
0:17:57 > 0:18:00You're so cute.
0:18:00 > 0:18:04Let's go back to James in Bristol now.
0:18:04 > 0:18:06Remember Ellen's pride and joy rabbit Hepzi,
0:18:06 > 0:18:08who had a nasty tumour removed?
0:18:10 > 0:18:13Well, just look at this lop-eared lovely now.
0:18:15 > 0:18:18Hepzi's back to her full self. Within about two days after surgery,
0:18:18 > 0:18:20she lived inside for a couple of days.
0:18:20 > 0:18:22And within two days, she was hopping around,
0:18:22 > 0:18:25demolishing her treats and toys and just being her normal self.
0:18:25 > 0:18:27Hopping around everywhere.
0:18:27 > 0:18:29This certainly is one pampered pet.
0:18:29 > 0:18:31Check out her crib.
0:18:34 > 0:18:37This old summerhouse is for Hepzi to hang out in,
0:18:37 > 0:18:41and these days, Ellen is keeping a much closer eye on her.
0:18:41 > 0:18:43I'm much more observant when I'm picking her up
0:18:43 > 0:18:44in that area to make sure
0:18:44 > 0:18:46that she hasn't got any more lumps so I'm really,
0:18:46 > 0:18:48really glad he's sorted it and it's all off.
0:18:48 > 0:18:49Thanks to James and Clare,
0:18:49 > 0:18:53Hepzi can now continue her life of luxury in Ellen's back garden.
0:18:57 > 0:19:00Hey? Happy days, Hepzi, happy days.
0:19:00 > 0:19:04And get that summerhouse, what a lucky bunny she is.
0:19:04 > 0:19:07Now, what about poor old Sadie with those gunky ears?
0:19:09 > 0:19:13Well, this springer spaniel has definitely got her spring back.
0:19:13 > 0:19:15I just love to see her so excited
0:19:15 > 0:19:18and just full of life and bouncing about.
0:19:19 > 0:19:20It's nice to see that back again.
0:19:22 > 0:19:26And now that nasty skin allergy is also being investigated,
0:19:26 > 0:19:29she's got plenty to shout about.
0:19:31 > 0:19:34Next time on The Pets Factor,
0:19:34 > 0:19:37Cheryl performs a tricky operation on a much-loved Jack Russell.
0:19:37 > 0:19:39I'm really nervous about this.
0:19:39 > 0:19:42I would hate for anything to go wrong.
0:19:42 > 0:19:46And Rory's patient gets into a bit of a flap.
0:19:46 > 0:19:48I know, I know.
