0:00:29 > 0:00:32From over 1,000 applicants, four teams

0:00:32 > 0:00:35have made it through to the semi-finals. They are...

0:00:41 > 0:00:43They have an eye for a bargain.

0:00:43 > 0:00:45Can you give it to us for £5?

0:00:45 > 0:00:50- Well, you are getting a really good deal.- £6.- Yeah, £6, OK.- £6.

0:00:50 > 0:00:53- They're tough negotiators.- 7.5.

0:00:53 > 0:00:57- 7.5? What, meet halfway?- Yeah.

0:00:57 > 0:01:00And they're top sellers.

0:01:00 > 0:01:02I Love London mugs and spoons!

0:01:02 > 0:01:06£1 a slice of chocolate with clotted cream! Help feed the boys!

0:01:06 > 0:01:09Sapphire's won a place in the final.

0:01:09 > 0:01:12I can't believe I'm going to New York.

0:01:12 > 0:01:15Will it be Prosperity or Aspire who go head-to-head

0:01:15 > 0:01:18with Sapphire in that final?

0:01:21 > 0:01:25Who will trade their way to the USA and still be in with a chance

0:01:25 > 0:01:29of being named Britain's Best Young Traders?

0:01:29 > 0:01:34Welcome to the semi-final of Trade Your Way To The USA.

0:01:38 > 0:01:42So here are today's semi-finalists.

0:01:42 > 0:01:45Prosperity from Liverpool and Aspire from Glasgow.

0:01:45 > 0:01:50In the heats, Prosperity shone during their cake-selling challenge.

0:01:50 > 0:01:54Queen of Hearts jam tarts, would you like one? THEY LAUGH

0:01:54 > 0:01:57Proving themselves to be sharp hagglers.

0:01:57 > 0:02:01You could have four cakes for £15. Does that sound fair to you?

0:02:01 > 0:02:03- No.- Maybe 3.50 would be better.

0:02:03 > 0:02:11They sold an amazing £211 worth of cakes, taking a huge profit of £136.

0:02:11 > 0:02:14THEY LAUGH AND CHEER

0:02:14 > 0:02:19So Prosperity's one step away from the grand final in New York.

0:02:19 > 0:02:21But they've got competition.

0:02:23 > 0:02:27Aspire were hot-shot souvenir sellers in London's Covent Garden.

0:02:27 > 0:02:31- Look at this really fancy teapot. - And guess what? It's a cup as well.

0:02:31 > 0:02:35- They bought cheap... - How about £1.20?- £1.15.

0:02:35 > 0:02:37- Done.- ..and sold high.

0:02:37 > 0:02:43I'm sure if you go down the road you'll be seeing these and they'll be selling them for a tenner at least.

0:02:43 > 0:02:48They won the challenge, taking £158, a big £83 profit.

0:02:51 > 0:02:56So it's Prosperity, the cool-headed, tough negotiators, versus Aspire,

0:02:56 > 0:03:01the hotshot cheeky charmers.

0:03:01 > 0:03:03But who will win this challenge?

0:03:03 > 0:03:07Because just one team will be jetting off to New York

0:03:07 > 0:03:11for the grand final. It's time to trade.

0:03:14 > 0:03:18Today, we're in Bristol and everything's up in the air

0:03:18 > 0:03:21at a balloon fiesta.

0:03:21 > 0:03:25But our two teams need to keep their feet on the ground to win.

0:03:27 > 0:03:31Well, congratulations, Aspire and Prosperity. Welcome back.

0:03:31 > 0:03:34You've made the semi-final. How are you feeling? Lizzie?

0:03:34 > 0:03:38I'm really excited, because I want to find out what the next challenge is.

0:03:38 > 0:03:40Brilliant. And, Francesco, how are you feeling?

0:03:40 > 0:03:43Really energetic. I'm just raring to go.

0:03:43 > 0:03:45There's everything to play for.

0:03:45 > 0:03:50The team that win takes their place in Trade Your Way To The USA's

0:03:50 > 0:03:52grand final in New York.

0:03:52 > 0:03:55Are you ready to find out what your challenge is?

0:03:55 > 0:04:00- Yeah.- Well, this time all the choices are down to you.

0:04:00 > 0:04:04You'll have to think about marketing, negotiating and branding.

0:04:04 > 0:04:08You'll design your very own product to sell at one of Britain's

0:04:08 > 0:04:10most colourful and spectacular events.

0:04:10 > 0:04:15We'll be at Bristol's International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta,

0:04:15 > 0:04:18which attracts around 500,000 visitors.

0:04:19 > 0:04:24So Prosperity and Aspire will be going head-to-head at a fantastic

0:04:24 > 0:04:26hot air balloon fiesta.

0:04:29 > 0:04:32They'll be selling T-shirts, bags and hoodies, which will

0:04:32 > 0:04:35be printed with their own design.

0:04:35 > 0:04:39So they have to create their own brand to tempt the customers with.

0:04:42 > 0:04:48As it's the semi-finals, the teams' trade fund doubles to £150,

0:04:48 > 0:04:52so they can design and buy their own products.

0:04:52 > 0:04:56OK, Prosperity, Aspire, I have your trading funds. Here you go.

0:04:56 > 0:04:58Spend it wisely. It has doubled

0:04:58 > 0:05:02because you're in the semi-final, so you've got more spending power.

0:05:02 > 0:05:05Now, in front of you, you can see lots of different products.

0:05:05 > 0:05:09You're going to have to choose the right product for you to put

0:05:09 > 0:05:13your design onto. Now, to help you, let me introduce to you Barry.

0:05:13 > 0:05:16He runs his own T-shirt printing company, and today you're going to

0:05:16 > 0:05:20negotiate and buy from him.

0:05:20 > 0:05:23Hi, guys. I've got some samples of the products which I can offer you.

0:05:23 > 0:05:27Hooded tops, T-shirts, tote bags, stickers, we've got aprons.

0:05:27 > 0:05:30You've got to think of your design, what colours

0:05:30 > 0:05:33to print your design in, because the more colours on them,

0:05:33 > 0:05:36- the more it'll cost you.- Which is your best seller?

0:05:36 > 0:05:38The T-shirts and the hooded tops.

0:05:38 > 0:05:42These are the ones where you can probably make the most profit on.

0:05:42 > 0:05:45What would be the recommended retail price on the hoodies and the tops?

0:05:45 > 0:05:47On the hooded tops, if you're

0:05:47 > 0:05:53selling them with a print on, round about £25. The T-shirts, up to £15.

0:05:53 > 0:05:57You know the "I Heart Bristol T-shirt"? Is that a big seller?

0:05:57 > 0:05:59It is a big seller because

0:05:59 > 0:06:02it's a simple design and in only two-coloured print.

0:06:02 > 0:06:05Both teams asked good questions.

0:06:05 > 0:06:10Now they've got just 15 minutes to decide what to buy.

0:06:10 > 0:06:15With the £150, they've also got to budget for printing their designs.

0:06:15 > 0:06:18- First up are Aspire. - That's a large one.

0:06:18 > 0:06:22I think we should get mainly men to these, because I think

0:06:22 > 0:06:24more men wear hoodies than women.

0:06:24 > 0:06:29No, because girls always wear hoodies, especially ones that are too big for them.

0:06:29 > 0:06:32Aspire listened to Barry about which products sell best,

0:06:32 > 0:06:36and want to spend all their money on hoodies and T-shirts.

0:06:36 > 0:06:42£150, it might seem a lot, but when it's on paper, it's not a lot.

0:06:42 > 0:06:45Next, it's Prosperity's turn to work out what to buy.

0:06:45 > 0:06:49- Shall we try them on, see what they're like?- Yeah, you try that

0:06:49 > 0:06:52on to see if they fit. I think that's the smallest they go.

0:06:52 > 0:06:55- That's a nice fit.- Good idea, Lizzie.

0:06:55 > 0:07:00Here's a top tip for all you traders. Try before you buy.

0:07:00 > 0:07:03Make sure you're 100% happy with your product

0:07:03 > 0:07:05before handing over your cash.

0:07:05 > 0:07:09- Are we going to get any hoodies? - Prosperity's also going for hoodies

0:07:09 > 0:07:13and T-shirts, but they think bags might also be a top seller.

0:07:13 > 0:07:16I'm not paying £3 for that!

0:07:18 > 0:07:21Before they negotiate, they've got to create the design they want

0:07:21 > 0:07:25printed on their products. It's got to be eye-catching.

0:07:25 > 0:07:29Cos the "I Love Bristol" T-shirts go so well with

0:07:29 > 0:07:31the "I Heart Bristol", a hot air balloon,

0:07:31 > 0:07:33but in the shape of a love heart.

0:07:33 > 0:07:38- Oh, yeah!- On a white background. - That sounds quite good.

0:07:38 > 0:07:41- And then "Bristol". - Simple, but it's catchy.

0:07:41 > 0:07:43Aspire's come up with a strong idea,

0:07:43 > 0:07:49but it looks like the "I Heart" logo has also caught Prosperity's eye.

0:07:49 > 0:07:51Make it like a balloon, as a heart.

0:07:51 > 0:07:53Don't make it obviously a heart.

0:07:53 > 0:07:57- A heart with a basket. Just make it a balloon.- Yeah, so it still fits in

0:07:57 > 0:07:59- with the whole balloon thing.- Yeah.

0:07:59 > 0:08:04I can't believe it. Both teams have come up with almost the same idea.

0:08:04 > 0:08:08It's going to make the challenge even tougher.

0:08:13 > 0:08:15They have their ideas.

0:08:15 > 0:08:17Now they need to get them ready to print with Mark, the designer.

0:08:17 > 0:08:21- So it's balloons?- Yeah, but we wanted the end of it flat so it

0:08:21 > 0:08:24- wasn't like a complete heart. - Right, OK. Can I put that there?

0:08:24 > 0:08:28- Yeah.- Right, OK. How's that?

0:08:28 > 0:08:30- Yeah, I like that. - Yeah, I like that.

0:08:30 > 0:08:33- I like the way you've put the lines in. I like that.- OK, that's kind of

0:08:33 > 0:08:36- what you were looking for, yeah? - Yeah.

0:08:36 > 0:08:41- That's it, then, my job's done. - That was easy.

0:08:41 > 0:08:44Prosperity's really happy with the design.

0:08:44 > 0:08:46Now it's Aspire's turn to get creative.

0:08:46 > 0:08:50Neither team knows they are both going with the "I Heart" theme.

0:08:50 > 0:08:53But has Francesco got an idea for

0:08:53 > 0:08:57the writing that'll make Aspire's design stand out?

0:08:57 > 0:08:58Do you know if there's a font

0:08:58 > 0:09:01that's like in the kind of like style of Banksy?

0:09:01 > 0:09:04Right, so like a stencil font, yeah?

0:09:04 > 0:09:08Yeah. Banksy's like a famous graffiti artist.

0:09:08 > 0:09:13He does lots of stencils and stuff like that, it's really good.

0:09:13 > 0:09:15We can add a few dribbles of paint.

0:09:15 > 0:09:19I don't know what the girls have done but I'm pretty sure it won't

0:09:19 > 0:09:23- be as good as this.- Now it's time to negotiate with Barry.

0:09:23 > 0:09:26Remember, they've got £150 trade fund.

0:09:26 > 0:09:32The hoodies are around £15, T-shirts £5, and bags £2.50 each.

0:09:32 > 0:09:37There's a place in the New York final at stake. And Prosperity's

0:09:37 > 0:09:40- up first.- Hi, Prosperity. Have you come up with any ideas or...?

0:09:40 > 0:09:43- Yeah. - We were thinking of buying bags,

0:09:43 > 0:09:46tops and hoodies, just them three.

0:09:46 > 0:09:48How many T-shirts are you thinking?

0:09:48 > 0:09:51We were thinking of spending about

0:09:51 > 0:09:55a maximum of £50, so however many T-shirts we could get into that.

0:09:55 > 0:10:00- Would you be able to go to £2.50 per T-shirt?- No.

0:10:00 > 0:10:02What about £3 at a push?

0:10:02 > 0:10:06I maybe able to push to £3.

0:10:06 > 0:10:10So that's a great deal. They've got the T-shirts for £3 each.

0:10:10 > 0:10:17- And hoodies? - Erm...five hoodies for like £45?

0:10:17 > 0:10:23Five hoodies for £45. Is that what you are saying?

0:10:23 > 0:10:27- No, I can't do that. I can do...- How about doing nine each?

0:10:27 > 0:10:30So we are doing five hoodies for £50. That's £10 a hoodie.

0:10:30 > 0:10:33That gives you a fair bit to play with.

0:10:33 > 0:10:37Barry won't go lower than £10 per hoodie, so Prosperity decide

0:10:37 > 0:10:40to buy just four.

0:10:40 > 0:10:45Now to the cost of the printing. It's £40 for two colours.

0:10:45 > 0:10:48We were looking for two colours, but

0:10:48 > 0:10:51- we were wondering if we could have two colours for £30.- That's fine.

0:10:51 > 0:10:55- I will take you up on that. - What about £25?

0:10:55 > 0:10:58- Can you go a bit lower?- £25. OK.

0:10:58 > 0:11:01That's a £15 discount.

0:11:01 > 0:11:04What about the bags? The bags I can sell for £2.50.

0:11:04 > 0:11:07- £2.50 minimum?- Yeah, seriously.

0:11:07 > 0:11:12Could you... Er...could you not go to £2?

0:11:12 > 0:11:16I tell you what, I will come down, I will come down to £2.25.

0:11:16 > 0:11:18£2.25? OK.

0:11:18 > 0:11:21They held out for more discount and got it.

0:11:21 > 0:11:24Yeah, that's £149.75.

0:11:24 > 0:11:28So Prosperity has just 25 pence left, surely

0:11:28 > 0:11:33- they can't get anything with that? - Can you throw in a bag for 25p?

0:11:33 > 0:11:38- I'll throw in a bag. So 12 bags. - So that's £150 exactly. Thank you.

0:11:38 > 0:11:43- Thank you very much.- They really are the queens of negotiation.

0:11:43 > 0:11:45I think Prosperity did very well.

0:11:45 > 0:11:48Got a very good deal. A very good deal.

0:11:48 > 0:11:52Well, girls, I think you've left Barry quaking in his boots.

0:11:52 > 0:11:54You were quite ferocious. How was it?

0:11:54 > 0:11:59I think it went quite well. I think we got some pretty good deals.

0:11:59 > 0:12:02In negotiating, we're stubborn, which is a good thing.

0:12:02 > 0:12:06But I thought he was really quite tough at negotiating because

0:12:06 > 0:12:08a hoodie for £10 is not cheap.

0:12:08 > 0:12:12So we're going to have to work hard to make a good profit from that.

0:12:12 > 0:12:13Next up, it's Aspire.

0:12:13 > 0:12:18They start their negotiations with the printing cost.

0:12:18 > 0:12:20You see about the printing,

0:12:20 > 0:12:23could you give us two colours for the price of one?

0:12:23 > 0:12:26- Yeah, that's fine.- That's great.

0:12:26 > 0:12:32Two colours for the price of one. That's £20. Prosperity paid £25.

0:12:32 > 0:12:36For 14 T-shirts, that works out as £70.

0:12:36 > 0:12:41Could you give us 10% off that, make it £63?

0:12:41 > 0:12:46£63. I will go with that, that works out at £4.50 a T-shirt.

0:12:46 > 0:12:49- Are you happy with that? - We're happy with that.

0:12:49 > 0:12:54Aspire are paying £1.50 more per T-shirt than Prosperity,

0:12:54 > 0:12:57they need to haggle harder.

0:12:57 > 0:13:02Would you be able to give us 15% off on the hooded tops?

0:13:02 > 0:13:04That would be - five would be £64.25?

0:13:04 > 0:13:09- Yeah, that's fine.- They've paid more for the hoodies than Prosperity.

0:13:09 > 0:13:14Aspire need to sell for higher prices to get to the final.

0:13:14 > 0:13:18We have £2.75 spare.

0:13:18 > 0:13:26See for the extra £2.75, would you throw in a bag for us, just to finish

0:13:26 > 0:13:28- off our £150?- Yeah, that's fine.

0:13:28 > 0:13:35Not the best deal on that bag, as Prosperity got theirs for only 25p!

0:13:35 > 0:13:41- Thanks for doing business with us, then.- Thank you. No problem. Thanks.

0:13:41 > 0:13:45They didn't negotiate very much at all. I think the girls

0:13:45 > 0:13:49got a much better deal than they have from me, than the boys.

0:13:49 > 0:13:53Aspire, well how was the negotiating with Barry?

0:13:53 > 0:13:56This negotiating round was much better.

0:13:56 > 0:13:58200 million percent better.

0:13:58 > 0:14:02The last time our high prices made us win.

0:14:02 > 0:14:06So we're going to keep it high, but not too high that puts people off.

0:14:06 > 0:14:11So the deals are done. What have the teams bought with their £150

0:14:11 > 0:14:17trade fund? Prosperity spent £25 on the printing, £60 on T-shirts,

0:14:17 > 0:14:23£40 on hoodies and £25 on bags.

0:14:23 > 0:14:29Aspire got their printing for just £20 and spent £63 on T-shirts,

0:14:29 > 0:14:34£64 on hoodies and one bag for £2.75.

0:14:34 > 0:14:39Both teams have gone for an "I Heart" theme.

0:14:39 > 0:14:44Aspire has an edgy street look and more hoodies, versus Prosperity's

0:14:44 > 0:14:48light-hearted balloon design with more T-shirts and bags.

0:14:50 > 0:14:53It's going to be a close competition, and there's so much

0:14:53 > 0:14:57at stake. Because the team that takes the most money will be in the

0:14:57 > 0:15:01grand final in New York and could be named Britain's Best Young Traders.

0:15:01 > 0:15:05Now it's all about who sells best.

0:15:10 > 0:15:14We're at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta,

0:15:14 > 0:15:19one of the biggest hot-air ballooning events in Europe.

0:15:19 > 0:15:24It attracts over 500,000 visitors for a high-flying day out.

0:15:24 > 0:15:28But for two teams of traders,

0:15:28 > 0:15:31this is one of the biggest days of their lives.

0:15:31 > 0:15:36Just one problem: Neither knows just how similar their designs are.

0:15:36 > 0:15:39Time to reveal all.

0:15:39 > 0:15:43Three, two, one, turn around.

0:15:43 > 0:15:46THEY SCREAM They're good as well.

0:15:46 > 0:15:48They're really similar.

0:15:48 > 0:15:51- Do you like theirs? - Yeah, I'm worried, though.

0:15:51 > 0:15:53Are you? Why are you worried?

0:15:53 > 0:15:57- Because we want to go to New York. - That dream's getting further away.

0:15:57 > 0:16:01Are you worried looking at their design?

0:16:01 > 0:16:03- Yeah, a wee bit. - Theirs is really good.

0:16:03 > 0:16:07With the wee person in the basket and everything, it's really good.

0:16:07 > 0:16:13OK, teams, huddle round me. Today is down to your selling skills.

0:16:13 > 0:16:18Remember, the team that wins today is on their way to the USA.

0:16:18 > 0:16:22- I'm very excited. Are you ready to sell?- ALL: Yes!

0:16:22 > 0:16:24Let's go.

0:16:26 > 0:16:31This is it. Only three hours to sell and win their place in the finals.

0:16:32 > 0:16:34Oh, no.

0:16:34 > 0:16:37With their stalls side-by-side,

0:16:37 > 0:16:40Prosperity and Aspire will be fighting for customers,

0:16:40 > 0:16:43so they must do everything they can to attract potential buyers.

0:16:43 > 0:16:47We've only got four hoodies. So they're basically the only four

0:16:47 > 0:16:51in the world, so we'll be stressing the fact that it's all original.

0:16:51 > 0:16:56Clever trading from Prosperity. If people think a product

0:16:56 > 0:17:00is rare or one-off, they are more likely to splash their cash.

0:17:02 > 0:17:06Aspire think their quirky signs will help bring in the customers, too.

0:17:06 > 0:17:08Presentation's everything.

0:17:08 > 0:17:11Because they'll be like, "Oh, that looks like a lovely stall,"

0:17:11 > 0:17:13and come for a look and possibly buy something.

0:17:13 > 0:17:18With both teams selling similar products,

0:17:18 > 0:17:22the pricing is all-important.

0:17:22 > 0:17:28Prosperity is selling the hoodies at £17. T-shirts at £12 and bags at £5.

0:17:28 > 0:17:32Aspire has less products, but higher prices.

0:17:32 > 0:17:37The hoodies are £25 and T-shirts £15.

0:17:37 > 0:17:42Which team will trade their way to the USA?

0:17:42 > 0:17:46- Teams, are you ready? - ALL: Yeah!- Start selling!

0:17:56 > 0:18:00- How much were the hoodies, sorry? - £25.- I'll have a white one.

0:18:00 > 0:18:05The first sale goes to Aspire. But Prosperity is hot on their heels.

0:18:05 > 0:18:11They're one of a kind, only four hoodies in the world. These are 12.

0:18:11 > 0:18:13- What size do you want, medium? - Yes, please.

0:18:13 > 0:18:19They bought the T-shirts for £3 each and have sold two for £24.

0:18:19 > 0:18:22An amazing £18 profit.

0:18:22 > 0:18:24The pressure is really on

0:18:24 > 0:18:29with a place in the New York final at stake - and both teams know it.

0:18:29 > 0:18:33Perfect fit. I think you look amazing.

0:18:33 > 0:18:36- SHE LAUGHS - Bless ya! Bless him.

0:18:36 > 0:18:39Two of them, then, please.

0:18:41 > 0:18:4430 minutes in and Prosperity's stall isn't so busy.

0:18:44 > 0:18:47- We'll come back later, is that OK? - Yeah.

0:18:47 > 0:18:50So Faye's on the hunt for customers.

0:18:50 > 0:18:52Would you like to come and have a look at our stall?

0:18:52 > 0:18:55- We designed them ourselves. - We're OK at the moment.

0:18:55 > 0:18:58OK, thank you. I think it's a lot harder this time.

0:18:58 > 0:19:01We've obviously got a much harder product to sell.

0:19:01 > 0:19:04Last time it was easy with the scones and biscuits.

0:19:04 > 0:19:08It's a small amount of money so they buy it without a thought.

0:19:08 > 0:19:13But this time it's proving harder. I'm just going to persevere.

0:19:13 > 0:19:16With the stalls so close together,

0:19:16 > 0:19:19selling similar products, a stall war breaks out.

0:19:19 > 0:19:22Both teams want to win the sale.

0:19:22 > 0:19:26- They're exactly the same. Exactly the same.- Can we get

0:19:26 > 0:19:31you some boxing gloves and get it over and done with, or what?

0:19:31 > 0:19:36Ding, ding, round two and Helena of Prosperity is trying to get

0:19:36 > 0:19:39customers away from Aspires' stall.

0:19:39 > 0:19:41Our stall is best, basically.

0:19:41 > 0:19:46- We need to win them. We need to win them.- That's much better, right!

0:19:46 > 0:19:51And Helena's fighting talk works as she gets the lady interested.

0:19:51 > 0:19:54The tops are £12 and the hoodies are £17.

0:19:54 > 0:19:57That's so low and desperate.

0:19:57 > 0:20:00There are only four of these hoodies in the world.

0:20:00 > 0:20:03- We are only selling it today. - But Aspire is not giving in.

0:20:03 > 0:20:05Here comes Michael.

0:20:05 > 0:20:09I promise you, we will give them a better deal, I swear, all right.

0:20:09 > 0:20:15I promise! Scout's honour, seriously.

0:20:15 > 0:20:19And Michael's persistence pays off as he gets the customer back

0:20:19 > 0:20:24- and they bag the sale. - Thank you, bye.

0:20:24 > 0:20:28Leaving Prosperity knocked out and licking their wounds.

0:20:28 > 0:20:32She liked the hearts on theirs better than the heart on ours.

0:20:32 > 0:20:33I'm pretty gutted.

0:20:36 > 0:20:40An hour-and-a-half into the selling, it looks like it's going to rain

0:20:40 > 0:20:44and sales have dried up for Aspire.

0:20:44 > 0:20:48We might come back later.

0:20:48 > 0:20:51We have to try to get more customers. It's hard because

0:20:51 > 0:20:54a lot of them are not that interested in buying anything.

0:20:54 > 0:20:56A lot of them are just having a wee look.

0:20:56 > 0:20:59They come and you think they'll buy something

0:20:59 > 0:21:02and they just go away. They just come to look.

0:21:02 > 0:21:03Thank you very much.

0:21:03 > 0:21:06OK, Team Aspire, how's it going?

0:21:06 > 0:21:10- Bad.- I tell you what, if I was a customer right now and I saw

0:21:10 > 0:21:13you guys standing behind a stall looking really miserable, I wouldn't

0:21:13 > 0:21:19buy off you. Come on, you've still got lots of time, smiling, energy,

0:21:19 > 0:21:21- passion, sell your stuff, yes?- Yep.

0:21:25 > 0:21:29Do you want to pick your size? What size?

0:21:30 > 0:21:33Prosperity's still got lots to sell.

0:21:33 > 0:21:36Men's T-shirts and women's T-shirts!

0:21:36 > 0:21:40So they decide to cut their prices in half.

0:21:40 > 0:21:43£3 for a bag, £5 for a T-shirt.

0:21:43 > 0:21:47We'll give you a deal if you buy more than one. Thank you.

0:21:51 > 0:21:55Aspire's got a keen eye on the competition.

0:21:55 > 0:22:01And they also drop their prices from £15 for a T-shirt to two for £10.

0:22:01 > 0:22:06Remember these started the day at one for £25 and one for £10.

0:22:06 > 0:22:09So we're in the last half an hour, so we are pushing everything.

0:22:09 > 0:22:10- Two T-shirts for £10.- Yes.

0:22:13 > 0:22:18With less than half an hour to go, Francesco decides to head out

0:22:18 > 0:22:21into the crowd to get people interested in buying,

0:22:21 > 0:22:23and it seems to be working.

0:22:23 > 0:22:29- How much are these? - £13.- 13. I'll have these.

0:22:29 > 0:22:32Brilliant, thank you very much.

0:22:34 > 0:22:37Prosperity, you've got just over 15 minutes left. Feeling positive?

0:22:37 > 0:22:40No, they've just had loads of customers

0:22:40 > 0:22:42and they've hardly got anything left.

0:22:42 > 0:22:45- So what does that mean that you've got to do?- We need to sell.

0:22:45 > 0:22:47Exactly. And so go for it.

0:22:47 > 0:22:50You've still got everything to play for. 15 minutes is a long time.

0:22:52 > 0:22:58While Prosperity fights for sales, Aspire starts selling out.

0:22:58 > 0:23:02Thanks very much. I've got one hoodie left and that's it.

0:23:02 > 0:23:03So we're really happy with that.

0:23:08 > 0:23:11- What size? Medium?- Yeah.

0:23:11 > 0:23:15Francesco is really trying hard to sell that last hoodie.

0:23:17 > 0:23:23- No.- No-one seems to want it. It's not the right colour. I don't know.

0:23:23 > 0:23:27I've got to sell it quickly, just get it over and done.

0:23:27 > 0:23:30Come on, Prosperity, you need to clear that stall.

0:23:30 > 0:23:33£3 for a bag £5 for a T-shirt.

0:23:33 > 0:23:38With minutes of the challenge left, Francesco finds someone interested

0:23:38 > 0:23:40- in the hoodie.- How much is it?

0:23:40 > 0:23:43- £8.- Can he close the deal?

0:23:43 > 0:23:45- Oh, OK.- Yes!

0:23:45 > 0:23:47Sold for £8.

0:23:47 > 0:23:50Aspire, your time is up.

0:23:50 > 0:23:53I need your cash box.

0:23:53 > 0:23:57Prosperity, your time is up, stop selling, I need your cash box.

0:23:57 > 0:23:59That's it. Three hours are up, which team

0:23:59 > 0:24:02has traded their way to the USA?

0:24:06 > 0:24:10The winners will be jetting off to the grand final in New York,

0:24:10 > 0:24:16where they'll compete to be named Britain's Best Young Traders.

0:24:16 > 0:24:19Well, Aspire, Prosperity, your selling day is over.

0:24:19 > 0:24:22Let's start with you, Prosperity.

0:24:22 > 0:24:27Negotiation. You are the team to negotiate.

0:24:27 > 0:24:31You're fantastic! Selling, again, you are great at selling.

0:24:31 > 0:24:35The only thing for me today was that there were less smiles

0:24:35 > 0:24:37and I sensed a lack of self-belief.

0:24:37 > 0:24:43- Is that a fair assessment? - Yes.- Aspire, let's look at you guys.

0:24:43 > 0:24:47Now, negotiation, it's not always been your strongest point

0:24:47 > 0:24:51and I have to say, yes, you did get some discount, but it wasn't a lot.

0:24:51 > 0:24:56Your cost prices were very high. You've always been the team to beat

0:24:56 > 0:25:00when it comes to selling, but overall, you had a hard job to do.

0:25:00 > 0:25:04You were selling at very high prices. Well, teams, I have to say,

0:25:04 > 0:25:06the standard has been excellent.

0:25:06 > 0:25:14It's been very high. Remember, whoever wins today goes to the USA.

0:26:13 > 0:26:17I've really enjoyed working with you, you have been fantastic.

0:26:17 > 0:26:22I don't ever want to negotiate with you three. Aspire, how do you feel?

0:26:22 > 0:26:27A bit - not a bit, very shocked, to be honest.

0:26:27 > 0:26:29Well done, you're in the final.

0:26:29 > 0:26:33You're going to the USA! Woo!

0:26:33 > 0:26:38I'm ecstatic. I was really shocked and I'm really happy, I'm chuffed.
