0:00:02 > 0:00:03I applied to be on USD

0:00:03 > 0:00:06because it sounded like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

0:00:06 > 0:00:09It was exciting, nerve-racking and tiring

0:00:09 > 0:00:12but I would happily do it all over again.

0:00:12 > 0:00:16Even if you don't think you're going to get there, just go for it,

0:00:16 > 0:00:18do your best and hopefully you'll come out on top.

0:00:18 > 0:00:23The whole experience was just great. It's not that hard to try something new

0:00:23 > 0:00:25if you just put enough effort into it.

0:00:25 > 0:00:27It's just been the best thing ever.

0:00:27 > 0:00:31For the last two months, the UK's finest young athletes

0:00:31 > 0:00:35have battled it out to be crowned Ultimate Sports Day Champions.

0:01:07 > 0:01:12from the four corners of the UK at their hostel in Scotland.

0:01:12 > 0:01:16After grabbing a bunk and a bite to eat, there was time to relax

0:01:16 > 0:01:17and check out the competition.

0:01:17 > 0:01:20But this was the quiet before the storm.

0:01:20 > 0:01:24The next 24 hours would be brutal.

0:01:24 > 0:01:2875 hopefuls would be put through a gruelling set of physical tests.

0:01:28 > 0:01:31Their goal to win one of the four places available

0:01:31 > 0:01:33on each of the four teams -

0:01:37 > 0:01:39- Hi, I'm Leo.- Hi, I'm Ellen.

0:01:39 > 0:01:41- My name is Morgan. - I'm here to win for England.

0:01:41 > 0:01:43- I'm here to beat the English. - Come on, Wales!

0:01:44 > 0:01:48The tests were devised by top sports trainer Professor Greg Whyte.

0:01:48 > 0:01:52He guided David Walliams in his swim of the River Thames for Sport Relief,

0:01:52 > 0:01:55so he really knew how to measure the core fitness of the young athletes.

0:01:55 > 0:01:57The talent on show is exceptional.

0:01:57 > 0:02:00Hands on shoulders, give us hands on shoulders.

0:02:02 > 0:02:05Throughout the day, the athletes underwent seven tests,

0:02:05 > 0:02:08including rowing, sit ups and bleep tests.

0:02:08 > 0:02:11But only the best 32 could go through to the next round.

0:02:13 > 0:02:18With mentors Sinead, Christian, Barry and Dean watching closely

0:02:18 > 0:02:20for potential team members,

0:02:20 > 0:02:22the young athletes pushed it to the limits.

0:02:22 > 0:02:24- Oh, it's exhausting. - It's very tiring.

0:02:24 > 0:02:26Especially Jake.

0:02:26 > 0:02:29I was running, I was running and I was so exhausted.

0:02:29 > 0:02:32Everything just went heavy and I tried to give one more run

0:02:32 > 0:02:36but I just couldn't, so I just dropped.

0:02:36 > 0:02:40- That was nearly the final straw for Jake.- Take a deep breath in.

0:02:40 > 0:02:45By the end of an exhausting day, the athletes were ready for their beds.

0:02:45 > 0:02:49We've got eliminations tomorrow. Really nervous about that.

0:02:49 > 0:02:52I really don't want to go home. I want to stay to the end and win.

0:02:52 > 0:02:55The next day, the hopefuls anxiously lined up

0:02:55 > 0:02:58to find out if they've done enough to make the cut.

0:02:58 > 0:03:01Unfortunately, I have some not great news.

0:03:01 > 0:03:06We were just waiting and waiting to see if we were going to be picked to go through.

0:03:06 > 0:03:09You're going to be stuck with me for another week!

0:03:09 > 0:03:11It was such a relief when she told us we were.

0:03:11 > 0:03:14You guys made it.

0:03:15 > 0:03:17You're the team.

0:03:17 > 0:03:19I was over the moon. I really wasn't expecting it.

0:03:19 > 0:03:22You're here for the rest of the week! Come on!

0:03:22 > 0:03:25What they're now left with is a group

0:03:25 > 0:03:28of highly accomplished, physical athletes.

0:03:28 > 0:03:31The key issue now is what is their skill like,

0:03:31 > 0:03:33what is their attitude like,

0:03:33 > 0:03:36and are they going to be the right person for their USD team?

0:03:36 > 0:03:38Come on, let's go!

0:03:38 > 0:03:41For a place in their national squads, the remaining 32 athletes

0:03:41 > 0:03:44were put through an intensive training process,

0:03:44 > 0:03:46consisting of all sorts of tough events,

0:03:46 > 0:03:49as well as coaching from top athletes like Phillips Idowu.

0:03:49 > 0:03:52You may have seen me out there on the athletics track.

0:03:52 > 0:03:57What you may not have known is I have a huge passion for basketball.

0:04:00 > 0:04:02Kelly Sotherton joined them on the track.

0:04:02 > 0:04:05I'm here today to show you how to sprint

0:04:05 > 0:04:08and pass the baton in the relays.

0:04:10 > 0:04:12- Sean to Fraser.- Hand!

0:04:13 > 0:04:16Great to meet someone like a legend like her.

0:04:16 > 0:04:17To have her coach us....

0:04:17 > 0:04:20To have her coach us is just something else.

0:04:20 > 0:04:24They were even treated to a special display of Olympic expertise.

0:04:24 > 0:04:26He's just flown back from Tokyo,

0:04:26 > 0:04:31where he won this on the pommel - Lewis Smith.

0:04:32 > 0:04:36Lewis was the first Briton to win a medal in gymnastics

0:04:36 > 0:04:40at the Olympic Games since 1928.

0:04:40 > 0:04:45He's now in training with Team GB for London 2012.

0:04:53 > 0:04:56APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

0:04:58 > 0:05:01What's your top tip for succeeding in your sport?

0:05:01 > 0:05:04Great sacrifice, great reward, dedication,

0:05:04 > 0:05:06and you've got to stay committed

0:05:06 > 0:05:10but, overall, you know, you've just got to have fun.

0:05:10 > 0:05:12But fun was the furthest thing from their minds

0:05:12 > 0:05:16when the athletes competed in the tough obstacle course.

0:05:16 > 0:05:20And with the day of reckoning approaching when half would be sent home,

0:05:20 > 0:05:23the strain really started to show.

0:05:23 > 0:05:25- You all right, Han?- Yeah, fine.

0:05:25 > 0:05:28The first part of our course was a tough challenge.

0:05:28 > 0:05:32It was cold, it was wet and miserable and it was very tiring.

0:05:32 > 0:05:35At points you just wanted to give up, it was that bad.

0:05:35 > 0:05:39There's a point in the last lap I was just down doing press ups,

0:05:39 > 0:05:40I wanted to cry.

0:05:40 > 0:05:44Everyone gave their all but ultimately only four athletes

0:05:44 > 0:05:47from each nation could be selected to represent their country.

0:05:47 > 0:05:51Those tricky decisions lay in the hands of their mentors.

0:05:51 > 0:05:55The ones who won the event here, I'm not necessarily going to pick.

0:05:55 > 0:05:59First to break the news was England's mentor, decathlete Dean.

0:05:59 > 0:06:03It's been very, very difficult I have to say, but you're through!

0:06:03 > 0:06:08His ultimate team - Shanice, Emily, Allard and Leo.

0:06:08 > 0:06:10When Dean told us we got through, it just felt so unreal.

0:06:10 > 0:06:15I could not believe it. I decided not to tell my mum until I met her at the train station.

0:06:15 > 0:06:19And when I told her, she screamed as loud as anything.

0:06:19 > 0:06:22Ice dancer Sinead made the tough choices for Team Scotland.

0:06:22 > 0:06:24It's up to me to tell you four

0:06:24 > 0:06:27that you will be going through to the final.

0:06:27 > 0:06:32Her team line up, Ellen, Sarah, Frazzle and Fraser.

0:06:32 > 0:06:35We were absolutely ecstatic.

0:06:35 > 0:06:37We were jumping up and down, hugging everyone

0:06:37 > 0:06:40and just big grins on our faces.

0:06:40 > 0:06:42The squad from Wales waited nervously

0:06:42 > 0:06:45to hear who sprinter Christian had picked.

0:06:45 > 0:06:49I'll be honest. This has been so, so hard, really hard.

0:06:49 > 0:06:51You guys, you're my team!

0:06:51 > 0:06:53ALL: Yeah!

0:06:53 > 0:06:57Team Wales, Isabel, Jake, Hannah and Joe.

0:06:58 > 0:07:01Everyone was so excited and all of us were crying,

0:07:01 > 0:07:04we were so happy.

0:07:04 > 0:07:08Boxer Barry delivered the news to the Northern Ireland athletes.

0:07:08 > 0:07:11- Right, you are my team! - What?- You are my team.

0:07:11 > 0:07:15His line up... Andrew, Sarah, Phoebe and Thomas.

0:07:15 > 0:07:17When Barry told us we were through,

0:07:17 > 0:07:20I think everyone was quite shocked but I was just excited

0:07:20 > 0:07:23and it didn't really sink in until a couple of days after.

0:07:23 > 0:07:25Northern Ireland, can we do it?

0:07:25 > 0:07:27ALL: Yeah!

0:07:27 > 0:07:30With the teams selected, construction began on the arena

0:07:30 > 0:07:33that would stage the ultimate sporting contest.

0:07:35 > 0:07:38Four days later, the athletes got their first glimpse

0:07:38 > 0:07:41of what they let themselves in for.

0:07:41 > 0:07:43Oh, wow!

0:07:43 > 0:07:46It's awesome, isn't it? So good!

0:07:46 > 0:07:48Oh, my!

0:07:48 > 0:07:51- Oh, my!- Whoa!

0:07:53 > 0:07:55Amazing! That is mental.

0:07:55 > 0:07:57- How awesome is that, guys? - I'm going to have to decide

0:07:57 > 0:08:01which of you are the strongest. That will be my thing - how to work the strategy.

0:08:01 > 0:08:05The mentors discuss tactics and strategy with their teams

0:08:05 > 0:08:08and showed them how the games should be played - or not -

0:08:08 > 0:08:11when it came to bungee basketball.

0:08:12 > 0:08:16I want to give it a go - just so I can try and give some feedback,

0:08:16 > 0:08:20some information back and just try and help the guys a little bit.

0:08:20 > 0:08:23But I'm just a big kid really, I just want to have a go.

0:08:25 > 0:08:29Getting the balls in the net would be my feedback, Christian.

0:08:30 > 0:08:33Finally, the tournament could begin.

0:08:33 > 0:08:35Nation battled nation over six matches,

0:08:35 > 0:08:38competing in a variety of awesome games,

0:08:38 > 0:08:41especially designed to test the core skills of...

0:08:46 > 0:08:50Only the two highest scoring teams could go through to the grand final,

0:08:50 > 0:08:53so every point in every game counted

0:08:53 > 0:08:55and what great games they were!

0:09:00 > 0:09:02Push O War's tough.

0:09:02 > 0:09:04To be up against such strong components

0:09:04 > 0:09:06as Joe and Issy was amazing.

0:09:06 > 0:09:09I mean, they really had us.

0:09:09 > 0:09:11England and Wales was, you know, really tense.

0:09:11 > 0:09:16They were there for kind of five minutes, you know, battling.

0:09:16 > 0:09:17Get your back up against...

0:09:19 > 0:09:22It was extremely hard. My arms were burning.

0:09:22 > 0:09:24Allard was tough. He kept me going

0:09:24 > 0:09:26and it was so close.

0:09:26 > 0:09:30We had a great comeback and we pushed them all the way till the end.

0:09:30 > 0:09:33Allard was a good team-mate to work with and there was a great outcome.

0:09:33 > 0:09:35We won!

0:09:37 > 0:09:40The first shot of the Push O War was against Ireland,

0:09:40 > 0:09:42we were off within five seconds.

0:09:42 > 0:09:45Good guys, dig in. Dig in. Dig, dig, dig!

0:09:47 > 0:09:50Competing against Ellen and Fraser in Push O War,

0:09:50 > 0:09:54they were really up for it, and me and Thomas got straight into them in the first round.

0:09:54 > 0:09:58It was a bit of a pushover from there.

0:09:58 > 0:10:00That was an absolute disaster.

0:10:00 > 0:10:03Thomas and Andrew absolutely obliterated us.

0:10:03 > 0:10:06They pushed us completely off the end.

0:10:06 > 0:10:08Their technique was obviously better than ours

0:10:08 > 0:10:11and me and Ellen just weren't able to hold up to their power.

0:10:11 > 0:10:13Andrew and Thomas and Allard and Shanice

0:10:13 > 0:10:16undisputed Push O War Champions.

0:10:21 > 0:10:23Bungee Basketball, what fun!

0:10:23 > 0:10:25Come on, guys. Well done! Come on, guys.

0:10:25 > 0:10:28It's just so fun to be on a bungee,

0:10:28 > 0:10:31just to go up and down and then just to score hoops at the end

0:10:31 > 0:10:34- and just to see the ball fall into the basket.- Perfect!

0:10:34 > 0:10:36Good man. He said he might fill it up -

0:10:36 > 0:10:38he nearly did.

0:10:40 > 0:10:42I play basketball for my specialist sport

0:10:42 > 0:10:45but I never thought it would have such a twist to it.

0:10:48 > 0:10:51I didn't mind the jumping off part and then bungeeing back up.

0:10:51 > 0:10:55It was when you actually had to shoot a basket I struggled with.

0:10:56 > 0:10:59Undoubtedly the two strongest stars of Bungee Basketball

0:10:59 > 0:11:02were Andrew and Allard.

0:11:02 > 0:11:05The competitive side sort of came out in me

0:11:05 > 0:11:08and I kept them there for about four minutes and did my best.

0:11:14 > 0:11:18But could mentors Dean and Christian match their success?

0:11:18 > 0:11:21The two of you have springs in your steps.

0:11:21 > 0:11:23Which one's got the springiest?

0:11:23 > 0:11:24- Me.- Easy from Christian.

0:11:24 > 0:11:27- Dean, what do you reckon? - Probably Christian.

0:11:27 > 0:11:29But I'll still give him a run for his money.

0:11:29 > 0:11:31That's what we look forward to seeing. Best of luck.

0:11:31 > 0:11:34Let's see what you can do.

0:11:36 > 0:11:39Both mentors got off to a perfect start.

0:11:43 > 0:11:46And that was two each. So far, so good.

0:11:54 > 0:11:56With the scores at 3-3,

0:11:56 > 0:12:00Christian tried a different tactic to slow Dean down.

0:12:00 > 0:12:03Get out of my way, you!

0:12:03 > 0:12:08Dean's aim was always precise, Christian's a bit more fluky

0:12:08 > 0:12:12and, as Dean racked up the baskets, Christian was more miss than hit.

0:12:14 > 0:12:18Overall, Dean was masterful, although Christian did have his moments.

0:12:18 > 0:12:23As the round came to an end, the scores reflected the performances.

0:12:23 > 0:12:26Christian scored six baskets, but Dean was triumphant with 12,

0:12:26 > 0:12:30although neither wanted to call it a day when the final buzzer sounded.

0:12:35 > 0:12:39Dean played it down to me that, "Ah, I'm not good at this. In practice I wasn't very good."

0:12:39 > 0:12:43And he goes there, and pulls out basket after basket after basket.

0:12:47 > 0:12:48Oh, Skywalker.

0:12:50 > 0:12:52Skywalker's my favourite game.

0:12:52 > 0:12:55The best thing was climbing up the tube like a spider.

0:12:55 > 0:12:57Go on, Iz.

0:12:57 > 0:13:00You needed a lot of grip and I didn't think I was actually

0:13:00 > 0:13:02going to make it up to the top.

0:13:02 > 0:13:04The worst part was I'm afraid of heights.

0:13:07 > 0:13:09I was against Isabel and I'm much smaller than her,

0:13:09 > 0:13:12the balancing and climbing up it was just fine

0:13:12 > 0:13:14but reaching was impossible and I just fell.

0:13:14 > 0:13:17Unlucky, mate. Unlucky!

0:13:17 > 0:13:19Issy was amazing at Skywalker

0:13:19 > 0:13:22and I just... It was difficult to just to reach down

0:13:22 > 0:13:25and be able to grab the chain and pull it up, it was so heavy.

0:13:25 > 0:13:27Issy deserved to win that one.

0:13:27 > 0:13:29But she didn't just win that one.

0:13:29 > 0:13:32Isabel won Skywalker every time she played it.

0:13:38 > 0:13:41Outside the arena, one of the games

0:13:41 > 0:13:44that really kept the athletes on their toes was The Chaser.

0:13:46 > 0:13:49Everyone got to play this game and all they had to do

0:13:49 > 0:13:53was sprint for 150 metres and cross the finish line

0:13:53 > 0:13:55without being overtaken by the man in the mask.

0:13:57 > 0:14:03Harder than it sounds and many fell foul of his awesome acceleration.

0:14:18 > 0:14:22The fastest survived to tell the tale.

0:14:25 > 0:14:28The Chaser was probably my favourite trial

0:14:28 > 0:14:31because it's my speciality and also Issy's,

0:14:31 > 0:14:34so we tried our best to get points for Wales.

0:14:34 > 0:14:37She certainly did that, and both her and Andrew

0:14:37 > 0:14:40ran the best times of any athlete.

0:14:40 > 0:14:42Our fastest four were...

0:15:04 > 0:15:07Flagpole was basically a big wooden tree trunk

0:15:07 > 0:15:10with nail bars stuck in the side of it.

0:15:10 > 0:15:13We had to climb up to the top as fast as possible.

0:15:13 > 0:15:18You had to stand at the top and you had to collect these rings,

0:15:18 > 0:15:22crawl down, pass it to your mentor, crawl up and do exactly the same for another one.

0:15:22 > 0:15:25It doesn't look very high but when you are up there

0:15:25 > 0:15:28it's really shaky and your legs are just like shaking.

0:15:28 > 0:15:30Come on, Thomas, keep going.

0:15:30 > 0:15:35I was against Allard, who's taller than me, he's stronger than me.

0:15:35 > 0:15:38That meant because I was smaller, I could move faster

0:15:38 > 0:15:43and I managed to beat him but not by a lot.

0:15:46 > 0:15:49That was probably one of the toughest ones

0:15:49 > 0:15:50because I was against Jacob from Wales

0:15:50 > 0:15:53and he's smaller, so when he got up to the top

0:15:53 > 0:15:56he had a better balance, and the result showed that.

0:15:58 > 0:15:59It's my favourite event.

0:15:59 > 0:16:03Jake and Frazzle's smaller size proved a big advantage.

0:16:03 > 0:16:06They remained unbeaten at Flagpole.

0:16:06 > 0:16:09But it wasn't all plain sailing.

0:16:09 > 0:16:12When Allard and Frazzle both pulled the wrong ring, this is what happened.

0:16:14 > 0:16:16They got a face full of flag.

0:16:17 > 0:16:20Frazzle, are you in there?

0:16:24 > 0:16:26Apparently, it's simple.

0:16:26 > 0:16:28But I haven't quite got the hang of it.

0:16:28 > 0:16:30Agh!

0:16:31 > 0:16:34Spin shot was quite hard because, while you're trying to focus

0:16:34 > 0:16:38to get the ball in the goal, you're concentrating on the spikes not hitting you.

0:16:38 > 0:16:42Me and Joe were throwing the balls at him at the same time

0:16:42 > 0:16:45and it was about timing. He was screaming, like "throw the ball at me now,"

0:16:45 > 0:16:48while getting hit in the head by the branches.

0:16:49 > 0:16:52It was fun but really you had to concentrate loads.

0:16:52 > 0:16:54Spin Shot. It was absolutely awesome.

0:16:54 > 0:16:57I was trying to run one way while catching balls

0:16:57 > 0:16:59and trying to kick them in the goal,

0:16:59 > 0:17:02while trying to compete for my country and against Jacob.

0:17:02 > 0:17:05It was just... It was exhilarating and really fun.

0:17:05 > 0:17:07Luckily enough, I won, so it was just amazing.

0:17:07 > 0:17:11And Leo's score of 12 goals was never beaten.

0:17:11 > 0:17:14Being up against Shanice from the England team in Spin Shot,

0:17:14 > 0:17:16football and basketball, was tough

0:17:16 > 0:17:20because she's very good at basketball and I'm not very great at it

0:17:20 > 0:17:22and it was really hard

0:17:22 > 0:17:26because the poles just coming round and hitting you. It's really hard.

0:17:26 > 0:17:28Unlucky, mate!

0:17:28 > 0:17:31Even national basketball player Shanice struggled

0:17:31 > 0:17:35with Spin Shot's spinning arms. Could mentor Dean do it better?

0:17:40 > 0:17:43Annoyingly, yes, he could.

0:17:47 > 0:17:48Ah!

0:17:52 > 0:17:56All right, Dean, you're done now. Quit showing off.

0:17:56 > 0:18:00But Sinead discovered that she should probably stick

0:18:00 > 0:18:03to spinning on the ice.

0:18:09 > 0:18:12This is well harder than it looks.

0:18:12 > 0:18:15KLAXON BLASTS

0:18:16 > 0:18:18Oh, wow!

0:18:19 > 0:18:22- You took that quite seriously, Dean. - You know what,

0:18:22 > 0:18:25if my decathlon was like that and I scored as many points

0:18:25 > 0:18:29in the Bungee Basketball as in my decathlon, I probably would have won Olympic medals.

0:18:33 > 0:18:36Hangbar was a killer.

0:18:36 > 0:18:42It wasn't just the height of it going up, it was the sense of shakiness.

0:18:42 > 0:18:46As you went up, you felt wobbly, so you felt like you had to really clutch on.

0:18:46 > 0:18:49Keep it going, you're doing really well. You look really comfortable.

0:18:49 > 0:18:53Sinead kind of told us just to kind of close our eyes and just zone out.

0:18:55 > 0:18:57Nice and relaxed, guys!

0:18:57 > 0:19:00When you're hanging in Hangbar, there's so much pain.

0:19:00 > 0:19:03The worst problem is that your hands lose grip

0:19:03 > 0:19:07and once they've slipped, you can't get your grip back again.

0:19:08 > 0:19:11We knew how good Emily was, so she was the one to beat.

0:19:11 > 0:19:17Emily, oh! Hanging on for minutes on end but it was quite difficult.

0:19:17 > 0:19:21You try and readjust your grip and that's when you end up falling.

0:19:21 > 0:19:25It was just how long you could hold on for

0:19:25 > 0:19:27until you felt the pain and let go.

0:19:29 > 0:19:33Hangbar's one of my strongest events and me and Leo have been doing well as a team

0:19:33 > 0:19:36and got the team some good points in it.

0:19:36 > 0:19:40That is an understatement! Emily never lost at Hangbar.

0:19:44 > 0:19:47After each nation had competed against the other nations,

0:19:47 > 0:19:51their overall scores were added together.

0:19:51 > 0:19:56The teams waited anxiously to find out who would be going through to the grand final.

0:19:56 > 0:19:59The first team into the final is...

0:20:04 > 0:20:06Team England!

0:20:06 > 0:20:08SCREAMING

0:20:09 > 0:20:15The team going through to face England is...

0:20:20 > 0:20:23- Team Northern Ireland.- Yeah!

0:20:23 > 0:20:25SCREAMING

0:20:27 > 0:20:30In a desperately close contest,

0:20:30 > 0:20:34Northern Ireland and England battled it out for supremacy.

0:20:38 > 0:20:40Good start!

0:20:45 > 0:20:49England were ahead by just a few points for most of the match

0:20:49 > 0:20:53but an impressive sprint from Andrew and Thomas,

0:20:53 > 0:20:56meant Northern Ireland took a narrow lead going in to the final game,

0:20:56 > 0:20:58The Ring Relay.

0:21:02 > 0:21:04Whoever wins this Ring Relay will be crowned

0:21:04 > 0:21:07Ultimate Sports Day Champions.

0:21:07 > 0:21:10Shanice against Thomas on the first leg

0:21:10 > 0:21:12of a 200-metre cycle race.

0:21:12 > 0:21:15It's very close so far with Thomas just edging out in front.

0:21:15 > 0:21:19None of these athletes will want to let their teams down so they'll all give it 100%.

0:21:19 > 0:21:24Thomas gets there first and he leaps off the bike to tag Sarah.

0:21:24 > 0:21:26Shanice is right behind him and she tags Leo.

0:21:26 > 0:21:28Sarah and Leo race up the Skywalker towers

0:21:28 > 0:21:30and Leo's pulled ahead of Sarah.

0:21:30 > 0:21:34He grabs the rope and tries to drag himself on to the beam.

0:21:35 > 0:21:39Leo's up and he works his way towards the first of 11 rings

0:21:39 > 0:21:42that need to be collected. He's got them.

0:21:42 > 0:21:43He grabs the first two,

0:21:43 > 0:21:46they're worth five points each but,

0:21:46 > 0:21:49the team that finishes first gets an extra 50 points.

0:21:49 > 0:21:53So, both teams know they have to win this relay to be sure of victory.

0:21:53 > 0:21:57Sarah's got her two rings now and Leo is on his way down the ladder.

0:21:57 > 0:22:01Gymnast Sarah catching up though, as Leo gets caught up on the ladder.

0:22:05 > 0:22:08Leo grabs the next ring as does Sarah. This is extremely close.

0:22:08 > 0:22:11They've both got all the rings now.

0:22:11 > 0:22:13They need to get on the ground and tag their team mates.

0:22:13 > 0:22:15Leo tags Shanice while he's on the floor.

0:22:15 > 0:22:18She sprints off to the bungee, Sarah tags Thomas, who follows.

0:22:18 > 0:22:21It's bungee time now, Allard's got his first ring of three

0:22:21 > 0:22:23and Andrew launches into play.

0:22:23 > 0:22:25We all know how good these two are at bungee.

0:22:25 > 0:22:27Allard's got his next ring

0:22:27 > 0:22:30and here comes Andrew after his second ring as well.

0:22:30 > 0:22:33Allard takes his third and Andrew is right behind him.

0:22:33 > 0:22:37That means Shanice and Thomas can race to their bikes

0:22:37 > 0:22:39and begin another 200 metre cycle sprint.

0:22:39 > 0:22:42Shanice is first on the bike and off she goes.

0:22:42 > 0:22:46Thomas is in the saddle now. Can he catch up?

0:22:46 > 0:22:48Thomas really going for it.

0:22:48 > 0:22:52He knows he was quicker than Shanice so he's really pumping the pedals.

0:22:52 > 0:22:55But Shanice isn't going to make it easy for him.

0:22:55 > 0:22:57She's got the lead and she wants to keep it.

0:22:57 > 0:22:59Dean will be so proud of her performance

0:22:59 > 0:23:01but who's going to finish first?

0:23:01 > 0:23:04It's Shanice! She dives off the bike to tag Emily.

0:23:04 > 0:23:06Just as Thomas finishes and tags Phoebe.

0:23:06 > 0:23:09So, it's between Emily and Phoebe.

0:23:09 > 0:23:11Emily is shooting up that pole.

0:23:11 > 0:23:12Phoebe's not far behind.

0:23:42 > 0:23:45There was one more match to play.

0:23:46 > 0:23:50The mentors had the difficult job of picking their best athletes

0:23:50 > 0:23:52to form a new combined team - The All Stars.

0:23:59 > 0:24:03and Allard from England. A formidable line up,
