0:00:32 > 0:00:35# Who let the dogs out? Who, who, who, who?

0:00:35 > 0:00:39# Who let the dogs out? Who, who, who, who?

0:00:39 > 0:00:42# Who let the dogs out? #

0:00:42 > 0:00:46Today, on Who Let The Dogs Out?, we are going to see amazing dogs,

0:00:46 > 0:00:50talented dogs and even record breaking dogs

0:00:50 > 0:00:53and three dogs are going to learn something really weird.

0:00:53 > 0:00:57Today, our dogs are going to learn how to skateboard.

0:00:57 > 0:00:59Yep, you heard me right, skateboard.

0:00:59 > 0:01:04Now if this sounds like it might be challenging for a dog, you're right.

0:01:04 > 0:01:05It's all about balance.

0:01:05 > 0:01:09In this challenge, the dogs must get on a skateboard,

0:01:09 > 0:01:12start it moving and stay on it while it rolls down a slope.

0:01:12 > 0:01:16Dogs will receive one point for every metre travelled

0:01:16 > 0:01:19and extra points if they push the skateboard along with a paw.

0:01:19 > 0:01:21The dog with the most points will win.

0:01:21 > 0:01:24A dog that can already confidently stand on a skateboard

0:01:24 > 0:01:26has a head start for this one

0:01:26 > 0:01:29and that's what I was hoping to find at the try-outs.

0:01:36 > 0:01:40Over 400 kids brought their dogs to the try-outs.

0:01:40 > 0:01:41Really cool!

0:01:41 > 0:01:44They all hoped that Zak would take them

0:01:44 > 0:01:47to the Dog House to learn an incredible stunt.

0:01:47 > 0:01:50Oh, I've got to see this.

0:01:50 > 0:01:53He saw trendy dogs, patriotic dogs...

0:01:53 > 0:01:55Hey, stop trying to be cute!

0:01:55 > 0:01:58A few drank too much water on the way here,

0:01:58 > 0:02:00while others didn't want to come at all.

0:02:00 > 0:02:03All these dogs and trainers showed up and did tricks,

0:02:03 > 0:02:06just to see if Zak would take them to his Dog House.

0:02:06 > 0:02:09They didn't even know what stunt they'd end up learning.

0:02:09 > 0:02:11That was pretty impressive!

0:02:11 > 0:02:16The thing is, Zak only needed three teams for every stunt, not 400.

0:02:16 > 0:02:20So in the end, for skateboarding, he chose these ones.

0:02:20 > 0:02:21My name is Oliver.

0:02:21 > 0:02:25My dog's name is Weasel. I come from Shrewsbury.

0:02:25 > 0:02:28- What do you want to be when you grow up?- I want to be a vet.- A vet?

0:02:28 > 0:02:31- You have a love for dogs and animals.- Yes.

0:02:31 > 0:02:35- You are ready to go, aren't you? Do whatever you want to do.- Weasel!

0:02:35 > 0:02:38Oliver is 13 years old and Weasel is seven.

0:02:38 > 0:02:41Look at the attention here. Very nice.

0:02:41 > 0:02:45When Weasel was born, she actually looked like a weasel.

0:02:45 > 0:02:49- Hey!- Good girl!- I was not expecting that. Was not expecting that.

0:02:50 > 0:02:52Nice heel. Sit at heel position there.

0:02:52 > 0:02:55Oliver takes Weasel to agility competitions

0:02:55 > 0:02:59and apparently they're good. So good that they went to Crufts.

0:02:59 > 0:03:02The local paper wrote about them, so they're practically famous.

0:03:02 > 0:03:05Weasel might be brilliant at other things, but can he skateboard?

0:03:05 > 0:03:08Weasel, come. Weasel.

0:03:08 > 0:03:11No. He's never even tried, but Zak reckoned he could teach him.

0:03:11 > 0:03:14You have a lot to be proud of, Oliver.

0:03:14 > 0:03:16I think you are on to very big things.

0:03:16 > 0:03:19You did a very good job today.

0:03:19 > 0:03:21What a very cool dog you have.

0:03:21 > 0:03:26My name is Agnes and my dog is called Dolly and we're from London.

0:03:26 > 0:03:30I want to come to the Dog House because it sounds very fun

0:03:30 > 0:03:33- and I'd love to teach Dolly some new tricks.- Do your thing.

0:03:33 > 0:03:35Agnes is 11.

0:03:35 > 0:03:38Her dog Dolly is a one-and-a- half-year-old French bulldog.

0:03:38 > 0:03:43Agnes says that Dolly can bodyboard and she's quite sporty.

0:03:43 > 0:03:47- You've worked on skateboarding?- She can't push herself.- Take your time.

0:03:47 > 0:03:50I've heard sometimes Dolly can't even be bothered walking home

0:03:50 > 0:03:54and instead, sneaks a lift on Agnes's mum's scooter.

0:03:54 > 0:03:57- You're doing very well. - That's not sporty! That's just lazy!

0:03:57 > 0:04:01But even though Dolly's lazy, Zak felt that Agnes and Dolly

0:04:01 > 0:04:04were a good team and he could get Dolly to skateboard.

0:04:04 > 0:04:09Agnes and Dolly, I am super-impressed by you guys. That was very cool.

0:04:09 > 0:04:11You look really, really prepared here.

0:04:11 > 0:04:14I'm Freya, this is Jack and I come from Suffolk.

0:04:14 > 0:04:17Jack's extremely intelligent. I'd love to teach him new things.

0:04:17 > 0:04:20- You're serious about dog training. - Yeah.- Show me.

0:04:20 > 0:04:23Now Freya is 13 years old and she has two dogs

0:04:23 > 0:04:25and trains them both at the same time.

0:04:25 > 0:04:27Jack is one-and-a-half

0:04:27 > 0:04:31and was bought as a dog for her dad, who was ill. Wait...what?!

0:04:31 > 0:04:34- Beautiful job. - She stole her dad's dog!

0:04:34 > 0:04:36- Where did you learn how to do that? - I taught myself.

0:04:36 > 0:04:41Since then, she has taught him 60 tricks. 60?!

0:04:41 > 0:04:43I don't even know 60 tricks!

0:04:43 > 0:04:48- Jack rebound. Good boy! - OK, OK.- Jack, up. Up.

0:04:48 > 0:04:52Freya is so good at dog training that she'll probably teach Jack

0:04:52 > 0:04:56to skateboard in ten minutes and then move on to sheep shearing.

0:04:56 > 0:05:01- Good boy. Well done.- Very cute. You are exceptional.- Good lad. Well done!

0:05:01 > 0:05:05So Freya and Jack, Agnes and Dolly and Oliver and Weasel

0:05:05 > 0:05:08have made it into the Dog House.

0:05:08 > 0:05:10Now they're going to get two days

0:05:10 > 0:05:13of super-duper amazing dog training from Zak.

0:05:13 > 0:05:17Then three weeks to practise before going head to head

0:05:17 > 0:05:18in a skateboarding challenge.

0:05:18 > 0:05:20The winner will take home this -

0:05:20 > 0:05:23the Who Let The Dogs Out? top dog trophy!

0:05:24 > 0:05:26# Who let the dogs out? #

0:05:34 > 0:05:36Today's trick is a tough one.

0:05:36 > 0:05:40I wonder how they'll react when they find out what their stunt is.

0:05:44 > 0:05:46You guys have got some energy over here!

0:05:46 > 0:05:48Ladies and gentlemen,

0:05:48 > 0:05:52you are going to be teaching your dogs how to skateboard.

0:05:52 > 0:05:56- What do you think?- Wow!

0:05:56 > 0:06:00For those at home, who want to start teaching this to their dog,

0:06:00 > 0:06:02they should use a block like this.

0:06:02 > 0:06:06OK, here's how Zak suggests you use that block thing.

0:06:06 > 0:06:09One - encourage your dog to get on and off.

0:06:09 > 0:06:12Oi, Weasel! Stop stealing food!

0:06:12 > 0:06:16What would you place the odds at Weasel learning to skateboard at?

0:06:16 > 0:06:20- One in a million.- One in a million?! You're not very optimistic here.

0:06:20 > 0:06:24Hang on. Before the try-outs, Weasel hadn't even seen a skateboard.

0:06:24 > 0:06:27Step two - you need to start wobbling the block,

0:06:27 > 0:06:30to get your dog used to...wobbling, I suppose.

0:06:30 > 0:06:31Just a little bit, see that?

0:06:31 > 0:06:34Dolly has been on a moving skateboard before,

0:06:34 > 0:06:39so she's probably laughing at Weasel. Hang on, can dogs laugh?

0:06:39 > 0:06:43And step three - move on to a skateboard on the grass.

0:06:43 > 0:06:46Freya here is a bit of an expert on dog training.

0:06:46 > 0:06:50She's already taught Jack to start a skateboard moving by himself.

0:06:50 > 0:06:53I put the skateboard down, but I made sure it was on grass.

0:06:53 > 0:06:58- Play with that.- Jack? And then I just rewarded.- You're using the clicker.

0:06:58 > 0:07:01Wondering what a clicker is? Well, listen up.

0:07:01 > 0:07:05Dog trainers use a clicker to tell the dog he's done something right.

0:07:05 > 0:07:07They click, give a treat

0:07:07 > 0:07:11and the dog soon learns that a click means a treat's on its way.

0:07:11 > 0:07:14# Who let the dogs out? #

0:07:14 > 0:07:17Let's teach our dogs to skateboard!

0:07:19 > 0:07:23All right, perfect. Right now, all we're trying to do is get them

0:07:23 > 0:07:25super comfortable on the skateboards.

0:07:25 > 0:07:29Comfortable on the skateboard?! Jack's doing handstands on it!

0:07:29 > 0:07:33These other dogs are never going to catch up with Jack.

0:07:33 > 0:07:38Very impressed. What I love is this communication that you guys have.

0:07:38 > 0:07:41Feeling a bit lazy, Dolly?

0:07:41 > 0:07:45- I know what will benefit you. I want you to pick up your energy more.- OK.

0:07:45 > 0:07:50Uh-oh! Oliver is still trying to coax Weasel onto the skateboard.

0:07:50 > 0:07:54Look at this. Two feet moving along. Click that. Reward that.

0:07:54 > 0:07:58You wonder why more people didn't teach the dog to skateboard! So easy!

0:08:01 > 0:08:03# Who let the dogs out? #

0:08:05 > 0:08:10Training is fun, but there's always time to chill out and play the fool.

0:08:10 > 0:08:13Here's some dogs doing just that.

0:08:14 > 0:08:19It is time for Dogs Have Got Talent and here is our first contestant.

0:08:22 > 0:08:25THAT is style, THAT is classy. Apart from the bum.

0:08:25 > 0:08:31Really good! Skipping! A bit tiring for the trainer there though! Hmm...

0:08:31 > 0:08:33Ah, that's more like it.

0:08:33 > 0:08:37Let the dog do the work. And the skipping, yeah!

0:08:37 > 0:08:38R-O-L-L.

0:08:38 > 0:08:40Good. U-P!

0:08:40 > 0:08:43You pee?! Did she just say "you pee"?

0:08:43 > 0:08:45That's a bit of a dangerous command to give a dog.

0:08:45 > 0:08:49Make a bit of a mess on the carpet, that.

0:08:49 > 0:08:53All ze great artists, zey are French!

0:08:53 > 0:08:56Zey paint with ze brush, zey paint with ze feet,

0:08:56 > 0:08:58zey paint with ze nappy tied around their neck,

0:08:58 > 0:09:01zey are just fantastique in every respect-uh!

0:09:01 > 0:09:04Rover, that's not a painting.

0:09:04 > 0:09:08Meep! Meep! Meep! Reversing dog!

0:09:08 > 0:09:10Meep! Meep!

0:09:11 > 0:09:15This new breed of dog is called a Derren Brown.

0:09:15 > 0:09:19With the power of his mind, he will find...a pebble.

0:09:20 > 0:09:25Jumping...over...short... woman's...arms... Magnificent!

0:09:25 > 0:09:28Look at him!

0:09:29 > 0:09:31Pencil balancing!

0:09:31 > 0:09:33Tub balancing!

0:09:33 > 0:09:37Ball balancing! Oh, that IS nostril power!

0:09:37 > 0:09:41Hmm, this dog seems to have confused playing the keyboards

0:09:41 > 0:09:43with digging for bones. He's good though!

0:09:43 > 0:09:45Oh, another musical dog!

0:09:47 > 0:09:49And another!

0:09:53 > 0:09:56A third!

0:09:56 > 0:09:59Oh, he's good!

0:10:00 > 0:10:03PLAYS PIANO AND HOWLS

0:10:07 > 0:10:10- Oh, this is the one! - DOG HOWLS

0:10:10 > 0:10:13Oh, yeah!

0:10:13 > 0:10:15Oh, take it away, daddy-o!

0:10:16 > 0:10:19- Oh, get down! - DOG HOWLS

0:10:21 > 0:10:25Keep watching because soon there'll be some record breaking dogs,

0:10:25 > 0:10:27Zak's quick trick and we'll find out who wins

0:10:27 > 0:10:30the Who Let The Dogs Out? top dog trophy.

0:10:32 > 0:10:35# Who let the dogs out?

0:10:35 > 0:10:37# Who let the dogs out? #

0:10:39 > 0:10:41- Good girl.- I saw that. That was good.

0:10:41 > 0:10:45Once you feel your dog's comfortable getting on and off

0:10:45 > 0:10:47the skateboard and they're moving around,

0:10:47 > 0:10:49we want them to push off with the foot.

0:10:49 > 0:10:51That can be their back foot, their front foot,

0:10:51 > 0:10:54but for the competition, they're going to need

0:10:54 > 0:10:57at least three feet on the board at all times.

0:10:57 > 0:11:00So how do you teach a dog to push a skateboard?

0:11:00 > 0:11:04I don't think that's right, Agnes.

0:11:04 > 0:11:08Oliver's still struggling to get Weasel to stay on the skateboard.

0:11:08 > 0:11:09Good girl.

0:11:09 > 0:11:13Did Jack just push with one foot? It certainly looked like it!

0:11:13 > 0:11:17Have you had him push off with one leg with three on the board?

0:11:17 > 0:11:19- Yes.- Today?- Today.

0:11:19 > 0:11:22- And that's never happened before.- No.

0:11:22 > 0:11:23Good.

0:11:25 > 0:11:28- Perfect! You got it!- Zak?- Yes. - How do you make her push off?

0:11:28 > 0:11:32We're not making her do anything, we've got to make her want to do it.

0:11:32 > 0:11:36So how do we do that? Well, it almost happens accidentally.

0:11:36 > 0:11:39Yeah, right there. Click. That was your clickable moment.

0:11:39 > 0:11:41She actually touched the ground.

0:11:41 > 0:11:45- That's where it starts. Does that make sense?- Yep.- Cool.

0:11:45 > 0:11:49- Keep working on that and I'll be right back.- Dolly, come on.

0:11:49 > 0:11:53- Come on. Good girl. - So what's the latest here?

0:11:53 > 0:11:56- She's got on the skateboard and pushed with two feet.- Cool. Show me.

0:11:56 > 0:12:02- Weasel, come on.- Nice! We're looking for that third leg to get on. Yes!

0:12:02 > 0:12:04Did you see that happen right there?

0:12:04 > 0:12:08I'm trying to have that click quicker. That is exactly right.

0:12:08 > 0:12:11- I told you you'd do better than you thought. Remember?- OK.

0:12:11 > 0:12:14I'm going to let those guys practise.

0:12:14 > 0:12:17Let's have a look at Jack, Dolly and Weasel's mutt measurements.

0:12:19 > 0:12:22# Who let the dogs out? #

0:12:22 > 0:12:24Jack is a Jack Russell.

0:12:24 > 0:12:27Jack Russells are strong. Check out the muscles on Jack.

0:12:27 > 0:12:30His favourite thing in the world is a football.

0:12:30 > 0:12:33As you know, he's super smart and knows over 60 commands.

0:12:33 > 0:12:35Jack will probably learn this stunt very quickly.

0:12:35 > 0:12:38As long as he doesn't try to do a handstand and fall off.

0:12:38 > 0:12:42Next up, we have Dolly. Dolly is a French bulldog,

0:12:42 > 0:12:44often nicknamed "little clown".

0:12:44 > 0:12:47Dolly's short legs and wide body make her good at balancing.

0:12:47 > 0:12:50In fact, Dolly can balance pretty well on two legs.

0:12:50 > 0:12:53Her balance might help her win this challenge,

0:12:53 > 0:12:56unless she decides to be lazy and take a snooze.

0:12:56 > 0:12:58Finally we have Weasel,

0:12:58 > 0:13:02a mixture between a Manchester terrier and a Jack Russell.

0:13:02 > 0:13:04She's got a very good sense of smell.

0:13:04 > 0:13:08Weasel's arch enemy is the dreaded vacuum cleaner.

0:13:08 > 0:13:10She hates it and even bites it!

0:13:10 > 0:13:13Cross-breeds are great dogs, but will Weasel have what it takes

0:13:13 > 0:13:17to learn to skateboard, or will her twitchy little nose lead her astray?

0:13:17 > 0:13:18Hmm!

0:13:24 > 0:13:27It's now day two of skateboard training for Freya and Jack,

0:13:27 > 0:13:30Agnes and Dolly and Oliver and Weasel.

0:13:31 > 0:13:35You guys are looking fantastic. I'm loving what I'm seeing.

0:13:35 > 0:13:40You've been practising a lot, all of yesterday and today.

0:13:40 > 0:13:42How much progress has Weasel had?

0:13:42 > 0:13:48Weasel's missed the skateboard a few times. And she's been jumping off.

0:13:48 > 0:13:49OK, show me.

0:13:49 > 0:13:51Weasel. Skateboard!

0:13:51 > 0:13:57- Ho-ho!- Wait!- Did you see that?- Wait. - What are you complaining about?

0:13:57 > 0:14:01- That's pretty amazing. - Wait... Wait...

0:14:01 > 0:14:05Let her know! Let her know! Yeah! Good work! Good work!

0:14:05 > 0:14:10- Very good. I'm moving on. How are you doing, Agnes?- We're doing well.

0:14:10 > 0:14:14She's picking it up better now and she understands it more.

0:14:14 > 0:14:16Tell me how practice went yesterday.

0:14:16 > 0:14:20Practice was harder for her because she had been on a board before,

0:14:20 > 0:14:22but she hadn't been told to do anything.

0:14:22 > 0:14:26Maybe she got tired or something and she just stopped.

0:14:26 > 0:14:31I've learnt that if I am patient and if I take it slow,

0:14:31 > 0:14:34then she will understand more and it will be easier for her to learn.

0:14:34 > 0:14:36Show me exactly her progress.

0:14:36 > 0:14:41- I want to see how she's been doing on the trick itself.- Good girl.- Yes.

0:14:41 > 0:14:45- Good girl!- You've got to hit that with mega praise.

0:14:45 > 0:14:48You're going to see your training take off when you do that.

0:14:48 > 0:14:51Continue working over here. I'm very proud of you.

0:14:53 > 0:14:57- Hi, Freya. Hi, Jack. How y'all doing? - We're doing really well.

0:14:57 > 0:14:58How was training yesterday?

0:14:58 > 0:15:00To start off with,

0:15:00 > 0:15:03if I stopped the board he would put his back leg out like that.

0:15:03 > 0:15:06Good boy. I rewarded that with lots of treats.

0:15:06 > 0:15:09Now he'll jump on the board and push himself.

0:15:09 > 0:15:12I like how she says that so matter of fact.

0:15:12 > 0:15:14He gets on, pushes off.

0:15:14 > 0:15:17Tell me when you would introduce a new command to your dog.

0:15:17 > 0:15:20When he was offering it all the time and getting it right.

0:15:20 > 0:15:23Exactly. The reason you've been able to progress

0:15:23 > 0:15:27so quickly with this is because you put in that time.

0:15:27 > 0:15:29They've now got three weeks to go home

0:15:29 > 0:15:33and perfect their skateboarding techniques before coming back

0:15:33 > 0:15:35to the Dog House for show time.

0:15:35 > 0:15:38Guys, you've done a great job, keep practising,

0:15:38 > 0:15:42take your boards home and I'll see you in a few weeks, all right?

0:15:42 > 0:15:44Go on, get practising.

0:15:47 > 0:15:51So, here are Zak's six steps to skateboarding.

0:15:51 > 0:15:53Use a low block to get your dog familiar

0:15:53 > 0:15:55with something raised and stable.

0:15:55 > 0:15:58Move the block a little and when your dog's comfortable,

0:15:58 > 0:16:01move your dog onto a skateboard on some grass.

0:16:01 > 0:16:05Then, when your dog's feeling ready, put the skateboard onto a path

0:16:05 > 0:16:07and move it along.

0:16:07 > 0:16:10Then encourage your dog to put a paw on the ground.

0:16:10 > 0:16:13Build up to having your dog push themselves along -

0:16:13 > 0:16:14a skateboarding dog!

0:16:18 > 0:16:19Here's Nellie.

0:16:19 > 0:16:22I'm going to show you how to teach your dog to roll over.

0:16:22 > 0:16:25Come here, Nellie. Come on, girl, let's play.

0:16:27 > 0:16:29Nice work, sit.

0:16:29 > 0:16:32I'm using real meat to teach Nellie how to roll over today

0:16:32 > 0:16:35because she really loves it.

0:16:35 > 0:16:38That's the quickest way to teach this with many dogs.

0:16:38 > 0:16:43First, I'll put her into a lie-down position like that. Here we go.

0:16:44 > 0:16:46Go into a rollover, just like that.

0:16:46 > 0:16:49She's already in the right position to go this way.

0:16:49 > 0:16:52I'll click her because she's on the right track.

0:16:52 > 0:16:53I won't force her into it.

0:16:53 > 0:16:56It would be a terrible thing if you tried to roll your dog over

0:16:56 > 0:16:58and make them do it.

0:16:58 > 0:17:00It might scare them and if it scares them,

0:17:00 > 0:17:02they'll probably never do it really gracefully.

0:17:02 > 0:17:05Come on. Roll over.

0:17:05 > 0:17:07Good dog. Very good.

0:17:07 > 0:17:11Notice how I said "roll over" only when she rolled over

0:17:11 > 0:17:13because it's a new command.

0:17:13 > 0:17:15Here we go.

0:17:17 > 0:17:22Roll over. Fantastic. Very good. Roll over. Very good.

0:17:22 > 0:17:24Timing is everything.

0:17:26 > 0:17:28Yes! Good job.

0:17:28 > 0:17:30She's at the point where I probably don't need

0:17:30 > 0:17:33to use treats any more. Let's try. Come here.

0:17:33 > 0:17:36This can take a little while to do with a lot of dogs

0:17:36 > 0:17:40so be very patient. Lie down. Ready? Roll over.

0:17:41 > 0:17:45Just like that. You are awesome. Wonderful job, Nellie.

0:17:47 > 0:17:48I love you very much.

0:17:48 > 0:17:50Always let your dog know that you love them

0:17:50 > 0:17:53and that you appreciate them. Good work.

0:17:58 > 0:18:01What I love about dogs is that they're all completely different.

0:18:01 > 0:18:04And they all have their own special and individual talents.

0:18:04 > 0:18:07But the dogs you are about to see aren't just special,

0:18:07 > 0:18:09they're record breaking.

0:18:13 > 0:18:15This is Anastasia from the USA.

0:18:15 > 0:18:19She is a four-year-old Jack Russell and is determined to break

0:18:19 > 0:18:23the world record for the fastest popping of 100 balloons.

0:18:23 > 0:18:24She is proper crazy.

0:18:24 > 0:18:27This isn't even speeded up. What a BALLOON-ATIC!

0:18:32 > 0:18:35Go on, you can do it. Come on. Yay!

0:18:36 > 0:18:3944.49 seconds. Outstanding!

0:18:43 > 0:18:46Over in Australia, the Parramatta Pandemoniums

0:18:46 > 0:18:47and the Norwest Thunderdogs

0:18:47 > 0:18:51went head to head for a different world record.

0:18:51 > 0:18:55They wanted to be the fastest flyball team in the world.

0:18:56 > 0:19:01Flyball is a relay race where two teams of four super-fast dogs

0:19:01 > 0:19:03jump four hurdles to collect a ball.

0:19:03 > 0:19:06The dogs hit a springboard to release the ball

0:19:06 > 0:19:07before taking it back to base.

0:19:07 > 0:19:11It's like extreme fetch for hardcore dogs.

0:19:11 > 0:19:16It's a record at 18.16 seconds to Norwest Thunderdogs.

0:19:16 > 0:19:19Norwest Thunderdogs won the world title

0:19:19 > 0:19:22by running at a ridiculous four seconds per fetch.

0:19:22 > 0:19:24Four seconds!

0:19:27 > 0:19:32In Spain, dogs compete in a total mega-weave. Check this out.

0:19:34 > 0:19:38Alba makes weaving through 24 poles look easy.

0:19:38 > 0:19:405.88 seconds. Too fast.

0:19:40 > 0:19:42Replay, por favor.

0:19:42 > 0:19:46That is a world record. Well done, Alba.

0:19:46 > 0:19:49I mean, I mean, totally...aw!

0:19:54 > 0:19:58Over to Italy. Famous for pizza and Frisbee dogs, apparently.

0:19:58 > 0:20:01This is Jackie. Now, Jackie can catch more Frisbees

0:20:01 > 0:20:04in three minutes than any other dog in the world.

0:20:09 > 0:20:12How many, Jackie? 11? That's record breaking!

0:20:15 > 0:20:20Right. Meet Puggie the Pekingese from the USA.

0:20:20 > 0:20:23Now Puggie has something rather unique.

0:20:23 > 0:20:26In case you haven't guessed,

0:20:26 > 0:20:30Puggie has the longest dog tongue in the world.

0:20:33 > 0:20:37Yeah, it measures a huge 11.43 centimetres.

0:20:37 > 0:20:42But Puggie doesn't find eating or drinking a single problem.

0:20:47 > 0:20:52OK. The three weeks have now passed and the dogs are back.

0:20:52 > 0:20:57This is the most exciting challenge that Dolly, Weasel

0:20:57 > 0:20:59and Jack have ever faced.

0:20:59 > 0:21:01So who...

0:21:01 > 0:21:02is going...

0:21:02 > 0:21:04to win?

0:21:06 > 0:21:09Last time we saw Weasel, she couldn't stay on the skateboard!

0:21:09 > 0:21:12Then they went home to practice and now Oliver says

0:21:12 > 0:21:15Weasel can skateboard a whole ten metres!

0:21:15 > 0:21:17Ten metres?! Do you believe that?

0:21:17 > 0:21:18Heh! I don't.

0:21:18 > 0:21:21When I found out it was skateboarding,

0:21:21 > 0:21:23I felt she had a one in a million chance.

0:21:23 > 0:21:26Now I feel she has a one in two chance.

0:21:26 > 0:21:29Agnes and Dolly have also been practicing at home,

0:21:29 > 0:21:32although Dolly's probably practicing snoozing.

0:21:32 > 0:21:35Agnes says that Dolly can now push the skateboard with her paw.

0:21:35 > 0:21:36Oh, yeah?

0:21:36 > 0:21:38It's been going really well.

0:21:38 > 0:21:42I feel Dolly has improved greatly.

0:21:42 > 0:21:44Freya and Jack were good at skateboarding already,

0:21:44 > 0:21:47and were just perfecting their technique.

0:21:47 > 0:21:50So Jack can probably drive a car now, as well!

0:21:50 > 0:21:53Jack's the most intelligent dog you'll ever meet

0:21:53 > 0:21:55and no dog compares to him.

0:21:55 > 0:21:57Today is the big day.

0:21:57 > 0:21:59It is show time!

0:22:03 > 0:22:05Have they all learnt to skateboard?

0:22:06 > 0:22:08Who will go the furthest?

0:22:08 > 0:22:10And who is going to walk away

0:22:10 > 0:22:14with the Who Let The Dogs Out? Top Dog Trophy?

0:22:14 > 0:22:15# Who let the dogs out? #

0:22:15 > 0:22:17Woof! Woof! Woof-woof!

0:22:19 > 0:22:21It's show time for Jack, Dolly and Weasel

0:22:21 > 0:22:24and this is where the competition will take place.

0:22:24 > 0:22:26First up, Agnes and Dolly.

0:22:26 > 0:22:28- Come on!- They're off!

0:22:30 > 0:22:32Dolly! I'm amazed!

0:22:38 > 0:22:42She's even pushing - that's five bonus points!

0:22:43 > 0:22:45Agnes says Dolly can do three metres.

0:22:45 > 0:22:46We'll see.

0:22:48 > 0:22:50She's still going!

0:22:50 > 0:22:53Wow! Looks like all that practicing paid off!

0:22:53 > 0:22:57That was a full eight metres for Agnes and Dolly!

0:23:01 > 0:23:02# Who let the dogs out? #

0:23:02 > 0:23:03Woof! Woof! Woof-woof!

0:23:03 > 0:23:07- Next up is Oliver and Weasel.- Push.

0:23:09 > 0:23:10Here they go.

0:23:13 > 0:23:18This is even faster than Dolly. What a breakthrough for Weasel!

0:23:18 > 0:23:20Push. Wait.

0:23:20 > 0:23:23Weasel easily scoops her five bonus points for pushing.

0:23:23 > 0:23:25Push.

0:23:25 > 0:23:27- They're building up some speed now. - Push, wait.

0:23:27 > 0:23:29Ooh! They're really doing it!

0:23:29 > 0:23:30Push, wait.

0:23:30 > 0:23:32Look at that back paw go!

0:23:33 > 0:23:37Past the ten-metre yellow markers and on to main body of the course.

0:23:37 > 0:23:39Push, wait.

0:23:39 > 0:23:41They've easily got their extra five bonus points.

0:23:43 > 0:23:45Push, wait, Weasel. Push, wait.

0:23:45 > 0:23:48I can't believe this - they are still going!

0:23:48 > 0:23:51Could the underdog win the competition?

0:23:53 > 0:23:57They stopped! Oh, well done, Oliver and Weasel.

0:23:57 > 0:23:59That was completely unexpected!

0:23:59 > 0:24:00I've never seen anything like this.

0:24:00 > 0:24:04Weasel travelled an utterly amazing 28 metres!

0:24:04 > 0:24:05Can anyone beat that?!

0:24:05 > 0:24:07# Who let the dogs out? #

0:24:07 > 0:24:09Woof! Woof! Woof!

0:24:09 > 0:24:12Next up, Freya and Jack.

0:24:12 > 0:24:14Freya and Jack. This should be good.

0:24:15 > 0:24:19Wow! Very professional.

0:24:21 > 0:24:24Watch you don't tip that skateboard, Jack.

0:24:24 > 0:24:26Phew! That was very close.

0:24:26 > 0:24:29Jack is the most experienced of our skateboarders,

0:24:29 > 0:24:33and by far the fastest skateboarding dog.

0:24:33 > 0:24:34Looking good!

0:24:34 > 0:24:36If Jack wants the five bonus points,

0:24:36 > 0:24:38then he'd better do some pushing off!

0:24:38 > 0:24:40And soon.

0:24:42 > 0:24:44There it is, five points.

0:24:45 > 0:24:48This is far! This is really far!

0:24:48 > 0:24:50Ooh, and he's off the board!

0:24:50 > 0:24:55Well done, Jack. That was probably the best skateboarding in the world.

0:24:55 > 0:24:59They were fast, they pushed off, but how far did they actually go?

0:24:59 > 0:25:00# Who Let The Dogs Out? #

0:25:00 > 0:25:03Woof! Woof! Woof!

0:25:03 > 0:25:07What an incredible competition that was.

0:25:10 > 0:25:14Agnes and Dolly, you had a full eight metres,

0:25:14 > 0:25:18plus you got your five bonus points, because Dolly pushed off -

0:25:18 > 0:25:19a tough thing to teach.

0:25:19 > 0:25:25Oliver and Weasel, Freya and Jack, both of you did incredible.

0:25:25 > 0:25:27Both of your dogs pushed off with their paw

0:25:27 > 0:25:32and travelled an astounding 28 full metres each.

0:25:32 > 0:25:34Which means...

0:25:34 > 0:25:35we have a tie.

0:25:38 > 0:25:39A tie-break. OK.

0:25:39 > 0:25:42So before the skateboarding champion is crowned,

0:26:15 > 0:26:17And they've stopped.

0:26:17 > 0:26:23That is only 23 metres. The question is, is it going to be good enough?

0:26:23 > 0:26:25Freya and Jack only have to beat 23 metres

0:26:25 > 0:26:28to steal the Who Let The Dogs Out? Top Dog Trophy.
