0:03:08 > 0:03:12My name's Dylan, the dog's name is Chase and I come from Lincolnshire.
0:03:12 > 0:03:14Down. Roll over.

0:03:46 > 0:03:49You are the definition of cool in my book.
0:03:49 > 0:03:51- CAMERA CLICKS - # Who let the dogs out? #

0:03:59 > 0:04:02all bagged a place at the Dog House with the chance
0:04:02 > 0:04:03to learn a truly magical stunt.
0:04:03 > 0:04:06- Hi, guys. How are you today? - Fine, thanks.
0:04:06 > 0:04:08I'm really excited about today's trick.
0:04:08 > 0:04:11This is one of the most unique things we've ever done
0:04:11 > 0:04:13on "Who Let The Dogs Out?".
0:04:13 > 0:04:16Today you're going to be teaching your dogs how to...
0:04:16 > 0:04:19disappear.
0:04:19 > 0:04:22Disappear? That's impossible!
0:04:22 > 0:04:24Actually, kind of. It's a magic trick,
0:04:24 > 0:04:27and I think you guys are cut out perfectly for this trick.
0:04:27 > 0:04:32This is a magic trick that will make your dog look like it's disappeared.
0:04:32 > 0:04:35First, the dog will jump into the box.
0:04:35 > 0:04:38Then the dog will stay there while the door is closed.
0:04:38 > 0:04:41On a magic word, given by the trainer,
0:04:41 > 0:04:43the dog will slip out the back.
0:04:43 > 0:04:45The dog will stay out of sight behind the box
0:04:45 > 0:04:48until the trainer has shown the audience that the dog has vanished,
0:04:48 > 0:04:52and then, on another magic word from the trainer,
0:04:52 > 0:04:54the dog will slip back into the box.
0:04:54 > 0:04:56# Who let the dogs out? #
0:04:56 > 0:04:58Are you ready to get into the training?
0:04:58 > 0:05:01Me too. Let's do it. We're going to open the door.
0:05:01 > 0:05:05All the curtains are open, and as you can see, they can go through here.
0:05:05 > 0:05:08The first thing we've got to do is familiarise them with the box,
0:05:08 > 0:05:10so let's start over here with Milly.
0:05:10 > 0:05:14Let's encourage her to get in the front and out the back.
0:05:14 > 0:05:16- That's all were doing.- Go on.
0:05:16 > 0:05:19- Here.- Wonderful job. Very, very good.
0:05:19 > 0:05:21That's fantastic.
0:05:21 > 0:05:24I don't want to just throw her into this, but let's encourage her
0:05:24 > 0:05:28to go into the front, and you can see there,
0:05:28 > 0:05:29we haven't put the whole curtain down,
0:05:29 > 0:05:33so now we want to see if she'll go out with the curtain down partially.
0:05:33 > 0:05:34- Let's see.- OK, go.
0:05:34 > 0:05:36- Good girl.- Pretty simple.
0:05:36 > 0:05:40- Do you know how to work on this for the next several minutes?- Yeah.- OK.
0:05:40 > 0:05:42I'm going to go over here to Hannah and Tilly now.
0:05:42 > 0:05:45- Do you feel like you know what to do? - Sort of. I hope so.
0:05:45 > 0:05:48OK, we'll find out. You can take Tilly off if you'd like.
0:05:48 > 0:05:50Whoops!
0:05:50 > 0:05:52Looks like Tilly's idea of a disappearing trick
0:05:52 > 0:05:53is to go and see Mum!
0:05:53 > 0:05:56- Keep it really upbeat. Keep it fun, OK?- Tills.
0:05:56 > 0:05:59- You going to go through?- Nice work. - Good girl!- Very good.
0:05:59 > 0:06:02Good praise. Let's go back this way through the back.
0:06:02 > 0:06:05- Good. Very good.- This way.
0:06:05 > 0:06:08"Where did you go?" she said. Really good work.
0:06:08 > 0:06:10Now ask her to get in and lie down and stay.
0:06:10 > 0:06:13- Tills.- Or sit, but probably lie down.
0:06:13 > 0:06:16- Let's do a lie down-stay. - Down. Oh, just stay... Wait.
0:06:16 > 0:06:18Now ask her to lie down.
0:06:18 > 0:06:20- Down.- Give her a big reward there.
0:06:20 > 0:06:22Good girl.
0:06:22 > 0:06:24Even though she knows how to lie down,
0:06:24 > 0:06:27we're giving her a big reward because she did it
0:06:27 > 0:06:29in a completely new setting, a new environment.
0:06:29 > 0:06:32- Does that make sense?- Yes. - That was fantastic.
0:06:32 > 0:06:35I want you guys to continue to work. I'm going to see Dylan and Chase.
0:06:35 > 0:06:38Now, these two were amazing at the try-outs.
0:06:38 > 0:06:41Make sure he's comfortable with it.
0:06:41 > 0:06:44I wonder whether they'll be able to keep it up at the Dog House.
0:06:44 > 0:06:47Now ask him to come in here and lie down and stay.
0:06:47 > 0:06:48I'll help you out a bit here. Stay.
0:06:48 > 0:06:53- (LAUGHS) Down.- Stay. Very good. Very good.
0:06:53 > 0:06:56I'm going to go ahead and put the curtains down now.
0:06:56 > 0:06:59- Chase, through.- Very nice, very good.
0:06:59 > 0:07:03- Let's encourage him to come back through this way.- Through.
0:07:03 > 0:07:06Wow! There's no stopping these two!
0:07:06 > 0:07:08They still make an impressive team.
0:07:08 > 0:07:11There is no magical answer to having a well-trained dog.
0:07:11 > 0:07:13If you want something done right,
0:07:13 > 0:07:16you've got to make sure that every step you take is thorough
0:07:16 > 0:07:19and meticulously thought out.
0:07:19 > 0:07:21In this trick, your dog can't see you,
0:07:21 > 0:07:23so they've got to know that they can trust you.
0:07:23 > 0:07:27But then again, they always need to know that. Really good work, guys.
0:07:27 > 0:07:28Keep up the good work.
0:07:28 > 0:07:30# Who let the dogs out? #
0:07:32 > 0:07:35It's really hard to be around dogs and not smile,
0:07:35 > 0:07:38especially when they're smiling back at us.
0:07:38 > 0:07:41Take a look at these happy dogs.
0:07:41 > 0:07:44What makes dogs really happy?
0:07:44 > 0:07:46Well, there's nothing better than a ball.
0:07:46 > 0:07:48Well, maybe three balls.
0:07:49 > 0:07:53Or four. You'll never get all those in your mouth!
0:07:53 > 0:07:54Dogs do love food,
0:07:54 > 0:07:57as long as they know how to eat it properly.
0:07:57 > 0:07:59And what are you doing?
0:07:59 > 0:08:02Yes! That's how to eat food.
0:08:03 > 0:08:08Oh, I see, thinking outside the box. Oh, no, INSIDE the box.
0:08:08 > 0:08:11Funky!
0:08:11 > 0:08:12Now these dogs are happy.
0:08:17 > 0:08:21And these ones are just showing off.
0:08:28 > 0:08:31Hey, look! This dog is watching EastEnders!
0:08:31 > 0:08:34And bad wigs don't make anyone happy.
0:08:34 > 0:08:37Are you still trying to pick up all those balls?
0:08:37 > 0:08:38That's not a real smile!
0:08:38 > 0:08:40Or that.
0:08:40 > 0:08:42Can you give us a smile? Nice.
0:08:42 > 0:08:45- # Who let the dogs out? - Woof, woof, woof, woof. #
0:08:45 > 0:08:49Still to come, Zak teaches Nelly a new trick,
0:08:49 > 0:08:52and the teams take to the stage for a spellbinding performance.
0:08:52 > 0:08:55Absolutely incredible.
0:08:55 > 0:08:58# Who let the dogs out? #
0:08:59 > 0:09:02Zak's not been away for long, but Dylan and Chase
0:09:02 > 0:09:06have already begun working on the second step of the trick!
0:09:06 > 0:09:10Guys, guys, you're looking great here. I mean, this is fantastic.
0:09:10 > 0:09:11You have the door shut.
0:09:11 > 0:09:14Look at that, that's wonderful.
0:09:14 > 0:09:17The others haven't even started learning that yet!
0:09:17 > 0:09:20Kimmy, I'd like to see if she'll go in here and do a sit-stay,
0:09:20 > 0:09:24allow us to close the door and then have you come maybe just this far
0:09:24 > 0:09:26and ask her to come out, only on permission.
0:09:26 > 0:09:28- So, I don't know, let's see.- OK.
0:09:28 > 0:09:30Milly. OK, go.
0:09:30 > 0:09:32Sit.
0:09:32 > 0:09:35Stay. Stay.
0:09:35 > 0:09:37- Stay. - Completely out of sight right now.
0:09:37 > 0:09:38Uh, no she's not.
0:09:38 > 0:09:41Remember, the trainers have to make it seem
0:09:41 > 0:09:43as if their dog has disappeared, but it won't work
0:09:43 > 0:09:46if they can't teach their dogs every step of the trick.
0:09:46 > 0:09:50I'm finding closing the door on Milly a bit hard,
0:09:50 > 0:09:52because Milly will just run out the other end
0:09:52 > 0:09:55before it's her time to run out.
0:09:55 > 0:09:59Hannah and Tilly are suffering from the same problem.
0:09:59 > 0:10:02Tilly has to get in the box and wait while I close the door,
0:10:02 > 0:10:04and that is proving a bit of a challenge.
0:10:04 > 0:10:05We can sort of close the door.
0:10:05 > 0:10:08It's still a bit of a work-in-progress.
0:10:08 > 0:10:10The girls have some serious catching up to do
0:10:10 > 0:10:14if they're going to have any chance of beating Dylan and Chase.
0:10:14 > 0:10:16I want you to practise for the rest of the day
0:10:16 > 0:10:19and we'll see you right here tomorrow at the Dog House, all right?
0:10:19 > 0:10:21- Bye.- Bye!
0:10:21 > 0:10:23I think Dylan and Chase is our main competition,
0:10:23 > 0:10:28because they're really far ahead and they're doing really well.
0:10:28 > 0:10:31It's going to be a tough competition which will probably be very close.
0:10:31 > 0:10:34I might not make it but I hope I do.
0:10:34 > 0:10:37I don't think it's that worrying.
0:10:37 > 0:10:42I got to the point where my dog Chase got into the box,
0:10:42 > 0:10:45I shut the door and he came out the other side, so it went really well.
0:10:46 > 0:10:49Dogs are like people. Each one is totally different.
0:10:49 > 0:10:52Let's find out just how different Chase, Milly and Tilly are.
0:10:52 > 0:10:56Chase is a Border collie who could be described as "bubbly",
0:10:56 > 0:11:01but that's because his favourite hobby is catching bubbles!
0:11:01 > 0:11:04Border collies are usually very clever, and extremely fast learners,
0:11:04 > 0:11:09but will Chase learn to disappear in time for his big performance?
0:11:09 > 0:11:14Milly is a springer spaniel, and often gets herself in a flap.
0:11:14 > 0:11:16A cat flap that is!
0:11:16 > 0:11:17She puts her head out to spy on birds
0:11:17 > 0:11:20and then chases them around the garden.
0:11:20 > 0:11:22Spaniels are working dogs,
0:11:22 > 0:11:25and Milly also likes to relax on her beloved beanbag.
0:11:25 > 0:11:29Tilly is just nine months old and is a cocker spaniel.
0:11:29 > 0:11:34Cocker spaniels love playing and Tilly is no exception!
0:11:34 > 0:11:36She wishes it could be Christmas every day,
0:11:36 > 0:11:38because her favourite toy is a Christmas ball.
0:11:38 > 0:11:41# Who let the dogs out? #
0:11:44 > 0:11:47It's day two and the trainers' last chance
0:11:47 > 0:11:51to get some all-important coaching before they're on their own.
0:11:51 > 0:11:56So far the training's been going really well but it just needs
0:11:56 > 0:11:59a bit more practice just to get it absolutely perfect.
0:11:59 > 0:12:03I think I am quite confident.
0:12:03 > 0:12:06Me and Chase have been doing really well.
0:12:06 > 0:12:10I'm confident that Milly will manage the trick,
0:12:10 > 0:12:12I just hope that a bird doesn't fly by
0:12:12 > 0:12:14cos she may chase the bird.
0:12:14 > 0:12:15I wouldn't be too worried.
0:12:15 > 0:12:19If the birds are sensible they'll be sheltering from the rain.
0:12:19 > 0:12:22Zak's back to teach the teams steps four and five
0:12:22 > 0:12:24of their magic trick.
0:12:24 > 0:12:28You're training in the rain. Now, that's what I call dedication.
0:12:28 > 0:12:30Looks like you're doing really well.
0:12:30 > 0:12:33Why don't you take a break for a second?
0:12:33 > 0:12:35I'm curious to see how you've progressed since yesterday.
0:12:35 > 0:12:37I want to start with Kimmy and Milly.
0:12:37 > 0:12:40We do need to start working on having them lie down behind you.
0:12:40 > 0:12:44- She knows how to do a lie down-stay, right?- Yes.- Very good.
0:12:44 > 0:12:48So why don't you have her do this, but this time when she comes through,
0:12:48 > 0:12:50ask her to lie down and stay right back here
0:12:50 > 0:12:53so we can't see any part of her. Does that make sense?
0:12:53 > 0:12:56At showtime, the trainers will have to make it seem as if their dog
0:12:56 > 0:12:58has completely vanished.
0:12:58 > 0:13:02The illusion will only work if their dog follows every step correctly,
0:13:02 > 0:13:04including responding to a magic word.
0:13:04 > 0:13:08Stay for duration, out of sight, much tougher than it looks.
0:13:08 > 0:13:12Vanish. Sss... Milly, sit.
0:13:12 > 0:13:16Milly, sit.
0:13:16 > 0:13:19Stay. Stay.
0:13:19 > 0:13:20Abracadabra.
0:13:20 > 0:13:21Sit.
0:13:21 > 0:13:25- Good girl.- Absolutely amazing.
0:13:25 > 0:13:28And what I really like is in such a short period of time,
0:13:28 > 0:13:31she's responding to "abracadabra", which means "get back in the box".
0:13:31 > 0:13:34Wow! They're really starting to get the hang of it now.
0:13:34 > 0:13:38Wonderful job. Do you have any questions so far on anything?
0:13:38 > 0:13:40Would Milly be allowed to sit when she's here,
0:13:40 > 0:13:43- cos she's better at sitting. - Whatever your dog prefers.
0:13:43 > 0:13:45As long as she disappears. That's what we're after.
0:13:45 > 0:13:48- As long as she reappears too.- Yeah.
0:13:48 > 0:13:50You're doing wonderful. I'm very impressed with you.
0:13:50 > 0:13:54I'm going to go over here to Hannah and Tilly now
0:13:54 > 0:13:56- and see how you guys are doing. - Tills, sit.
0:13:56 > 0:13:59What's this? Tills. In the box.
0:14:01 > 0:14:04I don't think that was supposed to happen.
0:14:04 > 0:14:05Come here. In the box. In the box.
0:14:05 > 0:14:08What's this? What's this?
0:14:08 > 0:14:12- Good girl.- Give her a "stay" or a "wait". Whatever.
0:14:12 > 0:14:15I don't think Tilly likes being in that dark box by herself.
0:14:15 > 0:14:18You've got to be more clear on that "wait" right there.
0:14:18 > 0:14:21I can tell that right off the bat. When she gets in, it's...
0:14:21 > 0:14:25I'll show you, actually. OK? So, come in here.
0:14:25 > 0:14:29- Just get down on the ground. Sit. - Sit.- Wait. Be very clear.
0:14:29 > 0:14:33- Eye to eye with her right now. That's perfect.- Wait. Wait.
0:14:33 > 0:14:37I'm going to encourage her to stay back here.
0:14:37 > 0:14:40- Stay, stay.- Sit. Stay.
0:14:40 > 0:14:42Very good. Very nice.
0:14:42 > 0:14:44Go ahead and close the door
0:14:44 > 0:14:47and then open it and immediately give her a treat. So now, open it.
0:14:47 > 0:14:50- Good girl!- Exactly.
0:14:50 > 0:14:51Work on that for a bit.
0:14:51 > 0:14:54Let her know, "As long as you stay in here, I might be here,
0:14:54 > 0:14:56"I might be there, but wait until I tell you to get out."
0:14:56 > 0:14:59- Does that make sense?- Yes.- OK, good.
0:14:59 > 0:15:02Hannah and Tilly will need all the practice they can get.
0:15:02 > 0:15:04But I wonder how Dylan and Chase are doing.
0:15:04 > 0:15:06All right, Dylan and Chase.
0:15:06 > 0:15:09- Why don't you show me this all put together right now?- OK.
0:15:09 > 0:15:12Chase, come. In you get.
0:15:12 > 0:15:16Down. Stay.
0:15:16 > 0:15:18Stay.
0:15:18 > 0:15:22Stay. Come on then, Chase. Down. Wait.
0:15:22 > 0:15:23In you get.
0:15:23 > 0:15:26Good boy.
0:15:26 > 0:15:27Clever lad!
0:15:27 > 0:15:29Good lad. Come on then.
0:15:29 > 0:15:30Good boy.
0:15:30 > 0:15:33Wow! They have just completed
0:15:33 > 0:15:36all five steps of the trick. These two are streets ahead!
0:15:36 > 0:15:39You've got to work on getting that distance
0:15:39 > 0:15:42between "down" when he's in that down state,
0:15:42 > 0:15:45and when you're ever here, cos now you have to come over here
0:15:45 > 0:15:49and say "down", so you want him to be able to go into a down over here.
0:15:49 > 0:15:50I want you to focus on that.
0:15:50 > 0:15:52Once the teams have learnt all five steps of the trick,
0:15:52 > 0:15:55they'll need to work on their performance.
0:15:55 > 0:15:58Bonus points will be awarded for the most impressive show.
0:15:58 > 0:16:01All right, guys. You have done really, really well today.
0:16:01 > 0:16:05I'm impressed. You have a long way to go to make this a believable stunt,
0:16:05 > 0:16:07but I'm positive that if you keep working at this,
0:16:07 > 0:16:10this is going to be unbelievably convincing.
0:16:10 > 0:16:14Continue working and I'll see you guys right here for showtime.
0:16:14 > 0:16:15- All right, guys. Bye.- Bye!
0:16:17 > 0:16:21Here are Zak's five steps to learning how to use a magic box.
0:16:21 > 0:16:25Number one, teach your dog to jump into the box.
0:16:25 > 0:16:29Two, encourage your dog to stay in the box with the door closed.
0:16:29 > 0:16:33Three, teach your dog to slip out the back of the box,
0:16:33 > 0:16:35using a magical command.
0:16:35 > 0:16:37Four, while showing the audience an empty box,
0:16:37 > 0:16:40have your dog remain out of sight.
0:16:40 > 0:16:43Five, teach your dog to jump back into the box
0:16:43 > 0:16:46on hearing another magical word.
0:16:47 > 0:16:49The teams have had all the help they'll get
0:16:49 > 0:16:52and will now head home to practise by themselves.
0:16:52 > 0:16:55In two weeks they'll return to perform their trick
0:16:55 > 0:16:59and then Zak will decide who will go through to the quarterfinals.
0:16:59 > 0:17:02I'm quite confident. It may be quite difficult
0:17:02 > 0:17:04and a high-level, advanced trick,
0:17:04 > 0:17:08but I think it's quite fun, so I'm excited.
0:17:08 > 0:17:12I feel a little bit nervous about the rest of the competition.
0:17:12 > 0:17:16I'm actually glad we have the two weeks of training.
0:17:16 > 0:17:19If that goes all to plan then I think we'll do really well.
0:17:19 > 0:17:22My training plans are just to practise, practise like mad,
0:17:22 > 0:17:24because practice makes perfect.
0:17:29 > 0:17:31If your dog likes to play, listen up,
0:17:31 > 0:17:33because I'm about to show you how to teach the most important thing
0:17:33 > 0:17:36you could ever teach to a dog with a lot of energy.
0:17:36 > 0:17:41Nelly, come on, let's go. Look what I got here. What's this?
0:17:41 > 0:17:43Today I'm going to show you how to teach your dog to fetch.
0:17:43 > 0:17:45Notice that Nelly already likes this tug toy.
0:17:45 > 0:17:49Remember, she's already been taught the rules of tug of war.
0:17:49 > 0:17:51Get it, get it. Give? Perfect.
0:17:51 > 0:17:53I'm going to throw it.
0:17:53 > 0:17:54The biggest mistake people make
0:17:54 > 0:17:56when teaching this is they get too stingy.
0:17:56 > 0:17:58They get it and they wait.
0:17:58 > 0:18:01You've got to give this right back to your dog, keep the game going.
0:18:01 > 0:18:03Come on, let's go. OK.
0:18:03 > 0:18:07Yeah, good work. Very good. Give? Get it.
0:18:07 > 0:18:09Do you see that? Once they're doing that,
0:18:09 > 0:18:12we want to encourage them to bring it back.
0:18:12 > 0:18:16How do we do that? By remembering one thing. Dogs love to chase.
0:18:16 > 0:18:19The mistake so many people make is they start chasing their dog
0:18:19 > 0:18:22instead of having their dog chase them. Come on, Nelly!
0:18:22 > 0:18:24Over here. Very good work.
0:18:24 > 0:18:27Give? Perfect.
0:18:27 > 0:18:28We're going to throw it right back.
0:18:28 > 0:18:31By teaching fetch to our dog, we're keeping them in shape.
0:18:31 > 0:18:34We're ensuring that they have a longer, happier life,
0:18:34 > 0:18:36and that's a better quality of life for them.
0:18:36 > 0:18:38OK, OK. Get it.
0:18:38 > 0:18:41That's fantastic. OK. Yes, good work.
0:18:41 > 0:18:44And I'm going to reward her with a nice big game of tug.
0:18:44 > 0:18:46That's how you teach a dog to fetch.
0:18:46 > 0:18:50- # Who let the dogs out? - Woof, woof, woof! #
0:18:50 > 0:18:53While those guys are preparing, I'm going to kick back
0:18:53 > 0:18:55and watch Tales From Around The World.
0:18:58 > 0:19:00This is North Beach, San Diego, California,
0:19:00 > 0:19:05And this is the world's largest dog surfing contest!

0:19:08 > 0:19:10from all over the USA!
0:19:10 > 0:19:11With nearly 4,000 spectators
0:19:11 > 0:19:17and huge packs of barking beach dogs, nerves are very high!
0:19:17 > 0:19:20She was out at seven weeks old and stayed on, so we'll see.
0:19:20 > 0:19:23The surf dogs are judged on their ability to ride the waves,
0:19:23 > 0:19:26having fun and staying on their boards!
0:19:26 > 0:19:29Extra points are awarded for style!
0:19:29 > 0:19:33In the early rounds, there were a few stand-out performers.
0:19:33 > 0:19:36And a couple of total wipe-outs!
0:19:36 > 0:19:38Some competitors have a nice, easy style
0:19:38 > 0:19:40and cruise through the competition.
0:19:41 > 0:19:44You did a great job today. Get ready for the finals.
0:19:44 > 0:19:48In the final round, this dog loses points for lying down,
0:19:48 > 0:19:51and there are penalties for facing the wrong way.
0:19:51 > 0:19:55But how about this for a way to steal the grand prize.
0:19:55 > 0:19:57- He swaps boards! - CHEERING
0:19:59 > 0:20:01We have our winner!
0:20:01 > 0:20:02# Who let the dogs out? #
0:20:05 > 0:20:07Our trainers and their dogs
0:20:07 > 0:20:11have had two whole weeks at home practising their magic.
0:20:11 > 0:20:16But who's got what it takes to progress to the quarterfinals?
0:20:16 > 0:20:21The training went really well. I got most of it done.
0:20:21 > 0:20:23He got it perfect, really.
0:20:23 > 0:20:25Let's just hope Tilly does well.
0:20:25 > 0:20:27If she doesn't I'll still be proud of her.
0:20:27 > 0:20:29Today I'm most worried about a distraction
0:20:29 > 0:20:31and me having to repeat the command
0:20:31 > 0:20:34and then it'll probably be a disaster.
0:20:37 > 0:20:43Dylan and Chase, Kimberley and Milly and Hannah and Tilly
0:20:43 > 0:20:45have got their magician's cloaks on,
0:20:45 > 0:20:48but who can perform the most convincing magic trick
0:20:48 > 0:20:51and make it seem as if their dog has actually disappeared?
0:20:51 > 0:20:53Who will have the magic touch?
0:20:53 > 0:20:57Who will leave us spellbound?
0:20:57 > 0:21:00And who will disappear back home?
0:21:00 > 0:21:01Now, to win this competition,
0:21:01 > 0:21:05the dogs will have to get into the box right here, then wait
0:21:05 > 0:21:09for the door to close, like this, wait for their trainer to give them
0:21:09 > 0:21:13a subtle command to leave the back of the box and stay on their spot.
0:21:13 > 0:21:15Then, on yet another subtle command,
0:21:15 > 0:21:17the dog will have to get back into the box
0:21:17 > 0:21:23and sit down and wait for the door to open, thus magically reappearing.
0:21:23 > 0:21:26They'll get one point for every step they complete correctly,
0:21:26 > 0:21:30but if they can face forward without encouraging their dog in any way,
0:21:30 > 0:21:35they will get five points per step, cos that ain't easy.
0:21:35 > 0:21:37- # Who let the dogs out? - Woof, woof! #
0:21:37 > 0:21:39Up first are Kimberley and Milly.
0:21:39 > 0:21:42They've made steady progress throughout the competition,
0:21:42 > 0:21:46but they'll need to step up their game if they're to beat the others.
0:21:46 > 0:21:48Ladies and gentlemen,

0:22:55 > 0:22:57Milly, vanish!
0:22:59 > 0:23:02Could that cost them a place in the quarterfinals?
0:23:04 > 0:23:08In training, Hannah has struggled to keep Tilly in the box for too long.
0:23:08 > 0:23:12Has she managed to overcome the problem before it's too late?

0:25:32 > 0:25:35A solid performance there from the boys,
0:25:35 > 0:25:38but Chase had to be reminded to lie down in the box.
0:25:38 > 0:25:41Down. Um...
0:25:41 > 0:25:45And Dylan had to make extra sure he didn't jump back in too soon.

0:25:48 > 0:25:49Stay.
0:25:49 > 0:25:52The question is, could that cost them a place at the quarterfinals?

0:26:02 > 0:26:06You all taught this trick and made it look beautiful.
0:26:06 > 0:26:08Not many people can say they've taught a dog to disappear,
0:26:08 > 0:26:11so you're the only three trainers that I know who can do that.
0:26:11 > 0:26:13Really, really nice work.

0:26:43 > 0:26:46and Dylan was marked down for having to remind Chase to stay.
0:26:46 > 0:26:48Stay.
0:26:48 > 0:26:50Though all three teams did incredibly well,
