4:11:38 > 4:11:40Bonjour! G'day! Ciao!

4:11:40 > 4:11:43Hello and welcome to another jam-packed,

4:11:43 > 4:11:46fun filled edition of Whoops I Missed The Bus.

4:11:46 > 4:11:50These two are up to something odd again.

4:11:50 > 4:11:52Did you manage to catch up with this?

4:11:52 > 4:11:56They've even given me a pile of cards of my own face on them.

4:11:56 > 4:11:59And what are you thinking, pet?

4:11:59 > 4:12:02I've only got paws!

4:12:02 > 4:12:05Now, forget Tay-Tay and Calvin, Zoella and Alfie

4:12:05 > 4:12:06and even Jiley

4:12:06 > 4:12:09cos we've got TV's greatest duo, Laura and Myles.

4:12:09 > 4:12:11I've watched so much,

4:12:11 > 4:12:14I could probably make some kind of CBBC movie out of it.

4:12:14 > 4:12:17Actually, let's do that. I'm going... Hello?

4:12:17 > 4:12:19No? OK. That's the end of that.

4:12:24 > 4:12:25Leading the pack this week

4:12:25 > 4:12:28and bringing an air of class to our operation,

4:12:28 > 4:12:31it's everybody's favourite vlogger named Laura. Laura.

4:12:31 > 4:12:35My favourite show this week has been Absolute Genius Super Tech.

4:12:35 > 4:12:37The gadgets, the games, the...

4:12:37 > 4:12:38Stop! Stop!

4:12:38 > 4:12:40Ooh!

4:12:40 > 4:12:41..crashes.

4:12:41 > 4:12:43Well, I've been paying attention and I reckon

4:12:43 > 4:12:47I can create the perfect technological futuristic outfit.

4:12:47 > 4:12:49Let's go.

4:12:49 > 4:12:51Ah, yes, I know what you're thinking -

4:12:51 > 4:12:53how ABSOLUTELY GENIUS of me!

4:12:55 > 4:12:57What do you mean that's not funny? Oh, really?

4:12:57 > 4:12:59I thought that was funny.

4:12:59 > 4:13:02This tech is still being designed and it's so cutting-edge

4:13:02 > 4:13:04that it won't be available for ages

4:13:04 > 4:13:06so we're really lucky to get our hands on it.

4:13:06 > 4:13:09I've included everything, even my own virtual reality headset,

4:13:09 > 4:13:11just like Dick and Dom's.

4:13:11 > 4:13:14OK, I suppose if you look closely they do resemble

4:13:14 > 4:13:18normal swimming goggles but I don't have Dick and Dom's budget.

4:13:18 > 4:13:21So I might not have mastered the outfit choice for Absolute Genius

4:13:21 > 4:13:24but I really love my tech so I reckon I can do my own show.

4:13:24 > 4:13:26# Dun-dun-da! #

4:13:26 > 4:13:27Absolute Laura!

4:13:29 > 4:13:31We done yet? Yeah.

4:13:36 > 4:13:40OK, Absolute Genius' intro is a bit fancier than mine.

4:13:40 > 4:13:41Like I said, no budget.

4:13:41 > 4:13:44My favourite part of the show definitely had to be the hoverboard.

4:13:44 > 4:13:47- Oh, yeah, got to get your balance. - All right, off you go.- Oh, my life.

4:13:47 > 4:13:50That is bizarre. I'm floating.

4:13:50 > 4:13:52They've clearly got balance, coordination

4:13:52 > 4:13:54and they know what they're doing on this show.

4:13:55 > 4:13:58You OK? It's bent!

4:13:58 > 4:13:59Look at it!

4:13:59 > 4:14:01Most of the time.

4:14:01 > 4:14:04- Throw that there.- Yep. - One of them there. Bit of that.

4:14:04 > 4:14:05Oh, screwdriver, screwdriver.

4:14:05 > 4:14:08- There you are.- Done.- Da-duh!

4:14:08 > 4:14:11This reminded me of the time I tried to fix my own computer.

4:14:11 > 4:14:15Erm, hi, how much for a new computer?

4:14:15 > 4:14:17What?

4:14:17 > 4:14:18I don't have any money.

4:14:18 > 4:14:21Oh, well. At least I still have my virtual reality headset.

4:14:21 > 4:14:23Whoa!

4:14:23 > 4:14:26Has anyone worked out that these really just are swimming goggles?

4:14:26 > 4:14:29No? I think I can pull this off.

4:14:29 > 4:14:31Whoa. It's so real.

4:14:31 > 4:14:34Ooh, she's good, by Jove!

4:14:34 > 4:14:36But catching up to her vlogging prowess is you lot.

4:14:36 > 4:14:40You're back again this week with more of your 15-second mini vlogs.

4:14:40 > 4:14:43Hi. The Next Step is my favourite show

4:14:43 > 4:14:46because I love dancing and gymnastics

4:14:46 > 4:14:52and I really love dramatic and realistic shows.

4:14:52 > 4:14:53Cracking! Next.

4:14:53 > 4:14:57My favourite TV show is Nowhere Boys because it is mysterious

4:14:57 > 4:15:00and spooky at some points. I like it when they do all the spells

4:15:00 > 4:15:02and go into different universes.

4:15:02 > 4:15:04It is really fun and enjoyable to watch.

4:15:04 > 4:15:06Brilliant! Another.

4:15:06 > 4:15:08I would like to make my shout out to Next Step.

4:15:08 > 4:15:10I love dancing and it's really cool.

4:15:10 > 4:15:14Scream Street, Danger Mouse and Blue Peter, they're all really awesome.

4:15:14 > 4:15:15Well done!

4:15:15 > 4:15:19My favourite video is Naomi's Nightmares In Nature

4:15:19 > 4:15:22because she finds such really cool animals.

4:15:22 > 4:15:26And they're really cute and sometimes they're really terrifying.

4:15:26 > 4:15:28Bye!

4:15:28 > 4:15:32You deserve a Bafta for that, you really, really do.

4:15:32 > 4:15:34If you want to give it a go, just record a 15 second vlog

4:15:34 > 4:15:39about your favourite CBBC show and send it in via the Whoops web page.

4:15:39 > 4:15:42Now, where could you find a very long bridge, white phone boxes

4:15:42 > 4:15:44and your favourite TV presenters?

4:15:44 > 4:15:45Why, in Hull of course!

4:15:45 > 4:15:49Because CBBC was there just the other week and so was our Laura.

4:15:49 > 4:15:51So, I've just arrived at CBBC Live And Digital.

4:15:51 > 4:15:53Look at that, so excited!

4:15:55 > 4:15:58Can't wait to find out who I'm going to meet and see what I can find.

4:15:58 > 4:15:59Let's go.

4:15:59 > 4:16:01CHEERING

4:16:03 > 4:16:05- Where are we?- We're in Hull, I've told you that.

4:16:09 > 4:16:12Just wandered into here where they do the live broadcasts.

4:16:14 > 4:16:16- Guess who I've just found.- Hello! - Marcus.

4:16:16 > 4:16:19This is powering everything that is going on in here today.

4:16:19 > 4:16:21It's called a Micro Bit.

4:16:22 > 4:16:26- Hello, Fran. Hiya. Is this a Micro Bit?- This is a Micro Bit.- Right.

4:16:26 > 4:16:28I absolutely love it.

4:16:28 > 4:16:30- These little holes here.- Yeah.

4:16:30 > 4:16:33What you can do is you can attach lots of different things to those,

4:16:33 > 4:16:35like, instead of using your keyboard,

4:16:35 > 4:16:37you could use, like, a banana.

4:16:37 > 4:16:39- Oh, right.- There's so many things you can do.

4:16:39 > 4:16:41So every time you press that now, it fires

4:16:41 > 4:16:43and then if you press this one...

4:16:43 > 4:16:45it goes left and that one right.

4:16:45 > 4:16:47So, Space Invaders controlled by pears.

4:16:47 > 4:16:49This just shows you if you ever get stuck

4:16:49 > 4:16:52and you don't know what to play, you can make your own.

4:16:55 > 4:16:59It's like Ben Shires is next to me right now.

4:16:59 > 4:17:00I am next to you, Laura.

4:17:00 > 4:17:04- Oh.- Yes, it's true.- I hear there's a beat Ben going on at the moment.

4:17:04 > 4:17:06Yeah, and sadly people have been doing just that.

4:17:06 > 4:17:09There's been a lot of beating me on computer games

4:17:09 > 4:17:10which I'm not happy about.

4:17:13 > 4:17:16CHEERING

4:17:16 > 4:17:18- I'm here with Niki and Sammy right now.- Hello.- Hi!

4:17:18 > 4:17:21- We're about to go on stage later, aren't we?- Yes.

4:17:21 > 4:17:23I went out and vlogged some for our own vlog earlier

4:17:23 > 4:17:24and the set is amazing.

4:17:24 > 4:17:26It's so bright and neon and colourful.

4:17:29 > 4:17:32- APPLAUSE - Hello!

4:17:32 > 4:17:34Out and about...

4:17:36 > 4:17:38Just come off stage, all my nerves are gone.

4:17:38 > 4:17:39It was so much fun, it was so good

4:17:39 > 4:17:42but now I've got to go sign some autographs.

4:17:45 > 4:17:49They've even given me a pile of cards of my own face on them.

4:17:49 > 4:17:51It's great, all the little people are coming here

4:17:51 > 4:17:53and they are learning stuff about the digital environment

4:17:53 > 4:17:56that we live in, science and technology and coding,

4:17:56 > 4:17:58- so it's brilliant. - The fact they get to come here

4:17:58 > 4:18:01- and meet some of their favourite CBBC stars from, like, Eve.- Yeah.

4:18:01 > 4:18:03And they're all down there signing autographs for them,

4:18:03 > 4:18:06so they actually feel like they're part of CBBC, so it's been great.

4:18:06 > 4:18:09So, that's it. It's the end of the day. It's been a really fun day,

4:18:09 > 4:18:11there's been loads of tech, got to chat to loads of cool CBBC stars,

4:18:11 > 4:18:15play loads of games, even got to play around with the Micro Bit.

4:18:15 > 4:18:17I think now it's time to go home and have a cup of tea.

4:18:20 > 4:18:21Ooh, where am I going?

4:18:26 > 4:18:28Junior Bake Off.

4:18:28 > 4:18:32- Fire up the ovens.- Ignite the hobs. - Pinnies at the ready.

4:18:32 > 4:18:35- Think we're going a little bit over the top?- Yeah, maybe a little bit.

4:18:35 > 4:18:38BOTH: Welcome to Junior Bake Off.

4:18:38 > 4:18:41Where does the camera go and where does it stop?

4:18:41 > 4:18:44Just Sam and Mark staring up forever as it zooms off to space.

4:18:44 > 4:18:45Junior Bake Off.

4:18:45 > 4:18:48But this is about baking, not space and I love baking programmes.

4:18:48 > 4:18:50This is like Matilda And The Ramsay Bunch

4:18:50 > 4:18:52but they're not doing all the Hollywood things.

4:18:52 > 4:18:54It's just British. It's baking.

4:18:54 > 4:18:57- Jam roly-poly.- Yes!- Yes!- Love it.

4:18:57 > 4:18:59And jam roly-polies. They're so excited.

4:18:59 > 4:19:01The judges give the bakers an idea of what they're

4:19:01 > 4:19:02looking for in this challenge

4:19:02 > 4:19:06and it does sound challenging, as a challenge would suggest.

4:19:06 > 4:19:09So we need a neat, tight swirl of the jam

4:19:09 > 4:19:11and a nice, soft dough with no cracks.

4:19:11 > 4:19:14We're also looking for a good, doughy texture

4:19:14 > 4:19:16and a smooth custard sauce.

4:19:16 > 4:19:19You will not find any of that, sir, in my jam roly-poly.

4:19:19 > 4:19:22The guys only had 90 minutes for this challenge which isn't long,

4:19:22 > 4:19:25especially considering it takes me about 90 minutes to decide

4:19:25 > 4:19:28if I want to buy a jam roly-poly if I'm just treating myself,

4:19:28 > 4:19:30if I'm in the shop and I'm like, "Shall I buy a jam roly-poly?"

4:19:30 > 4:19:33I'll treat myself and buy a whole jam roly-poly. Don't judge me.

4:19:33 > 4:19:35What worries me though is that the bakers,

4:19:35 > 4:19:37they stop baking to have a chat with the camera.

4:19:37 > 4:19:39I usually have brothers and sisters around

4:19:39 > 4:19:42so it's quite good having my own space for once.

4:19:42 > 4:19:44Stop distracting them, they only have an hour.

4:19:44 > 4:19:45- How's it going, buddy?- No.

4:19:45 > 4:19:48Tell me about the consistency that you're looking for.

4:19:48 > 4:19:50- Stop talking.- How's it going?

4:19:50 > 4:19:52Making jam roly-poly.

4:19:52 > 4:19:54Oh, I'm just going to buy one from the shops.

4:19:54 > 4:19:55And then the judges describe to them

4:19:55 > 4:19:58what an ideal jam roly-poly looks like.

4:19:58 > 4:20:02Good roll, nice swirls, even distribution of the jam.

4:20:02 > 4:20:03Nice swirls.

4:20:03 > 4:20:06I've never eaten anything and thought, "Nice swirls."

4:20:06 > 4:20:08During school we used to have cooking lessons

4:20:08 > 4:20:10and one time we had to bring in ingredients to make a healthy dish.

4:20:10 > 4:20:14I made pizza. Everyone else did fruit salads. Pizza though?

4:20:14 > 4:20:16My argument was that it was kind of healthy

4:20:16 > 4:20:19if you just cut it up into very tiny slices and then sort of rationed

4:20:19 > 4:20:21those very tiny slices out over the period of like two months.

4:20:21 > 4:20:23The week after that though we had to make a cake

4:20:23 > 4:20:27and I accidentally set my strawberry trifle on fire.

4:20:27 > 4:20:30Junior Bake Off does it much better. They know what they're doing.

4:20:30 > 4:20:33I do like watching Junior Bake Off and seeing people making stuff.

4:20:33 > 4:20:36Good seeing people put an effort into something they care about.

4:20:36 > 4:20:38Not burning trifles, just like making good things.

4:20:38 > 4:20:40And what's more of a good thing than making cakes, eh?

4:20:40 > 4:20:42Family? Friends?

4:20:42 > 4:20:44Sure, but mainly cake though, really.

4:20:49 > 4:20:52Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know that Blue Peter

4:20:52 > 4:20:55set Radzi a huge challenge a few weeks ago.

4:20:55 > 4:20:58He had to learn gymnastics. Proper gymnastics though

4:20:58 > 4:21:00because this is a Blue Peter challenge after all,

4:21:00 > 4:21:03so it was hardcore.

4:21:03 > 4:21:06What we need to find out - which is the best apparatus for you

4:21:06 > 4:21:08and which one you get on with.

4:21:08 > 4:21:10So, what did he go on first?

4:21:13 > 4:21:16- Nearly!- That was good. - I've never done this before.

4:21:16 > 4:21:18Then the rings.

4:21:18 > 4:21:20Will I do any better on the rings?

4:21:20 > 4:21:23They always look fun, like a swinging version of monkey bars.

4:21:23 > 4:21:26Yeah, and I think he found them really easy too.

4:21:26 > 4:21:28- Oh, you've done it!- Yes!

4:21:28 > 4:21:30Looks pretty fun though.

4:21:30 > 4:21:32You haven't just been doing gymnastics for fun.

4:21:32 > 4:21:35- Oh.- You're actually going to be performing at

4:21:35 > 4:21:36the World Gymnastics Championships.

4:21:36 > 4:21:40Yeah, but I'm sure he has years to train.

4:21:40 > 4:21:45So, in just eight months' time, I'll be performing here!

4:21:45 > 4:21:48I'm sure it's just a small, private event.

4:21:48 > 4:21:54This huge arena will be home to the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships.

4:21:54 > 4:21:59Where you'll be taking centre stage in front of 6,000 people.

4:21:59 > 4:22:04- We should probably stop speaking now.- Yeah.- Yeah.

4:22:04 > 4:22:07So, Radzi is training and showing his moves...

4:22:07 > 4:22:11But I don't think they're that difficult, are they?

4:22:11 > 4:22:14CIRCUS MUSIC PLAYS

4:22:27 > 4:22:29No! No!

4:22:33 > 4:22:37BOOING

4:22:37 > 4:22:40They're like peas in a pod, those two,

4:22:40 > 4:22:43except they're not round or green and you couldn't eat them with chips.

4:22:43 > 4:22:44Anyhoo, what would happen

4:22:44 > 4:22:48if your pets turned into mini vlog stars themselves?

4:22:48 > 4:22:51Something like this, I reckon.

4:22:51 > 4:22:54The cheek of it! The unmitigated gall!

4:22:54 > 4:22:57Those boys think they can knock on someone's door,

4:22:57 > 4:22:59call it a wind-up and get away with it?

4:22:59 > 4:23:04Why, if they ever knocked on my door, I'd... Ooh! Was that them?

4:23:04 > 4:23:05Did they knock?

4:23:05 > 4:23:10Ooh, it's Tracy Beaker on me telly! Cooee, Tracy!

4:23:10 > 4:23:13What do you use for your fur to get it so lovely and shiny?

4:23:13 > 4:23:19I love you, Tracy Beaker! You can have a run on my wheel any time!

4:23:19 > 4:23:22You wouldn't catch me going on Total Wipeout.

4:23:22 > 4:23:24Not cos of the traps -

4:23:24 > 4:23:26I can't type any entry forms.

4:23:26 > 4:23:28I've only got paws!

4:23:28 > 4:23:30Is your pet a fan of CBBC?

4:23:30 > 4:23:32Are they natural on camera?

4:23:32 > 4:23:34Well, even if they're not, we want to see them anyway.

4:23:34 > 4:23:36Upload a 20-second clip of them watching CBBC

4:23:36 > 4:23:40and they might feature here next week on the telly.

4:23:40 > 4:23:42All the info is on the Whoops web page.

4:23:42 > 4:23:43What are you thinking, pet?

4:23:43 > 4:23:46Now, we've searched high to low, top to bottom, back to front

4:23:46 > 4:23:49and found the very best bits from this week's CBBC

4:23:49 > 4:23:51hidden down the back of the sofa.

4:23:51 > 4:23:53Enjoy it, won't you?

4:23:53 > 4:23:58Ella takes the stage and they play my solo song instead of hers,

4:23:58 > 4:24:02which is weird. What's even weirder is that they don't stop.

4:24:04 > 4:24:09And then I realise she's doing my choreography to my song.

4:24:11 > 4:24:13- This is your solo.- I know.

4:24:15 > 4:24:18There are two reasons why I stole her solo -

4:24:18 > 4:24:20because the solo's good.

4:24:20 > 4:24:22It is better than any dance I could have ever come up with.

4:24:22 > 4:24:25And secondly, because it might throw her off

4:24:25 > 4:24:28so much that she blows her chance of even winning this thing.

4:24:28 > 4:24:29As I said to her,

4:24:29 > 4:24:33I will do anything I can to win this competition.

4:24:33 > 4:24:36- Boys!- What about girls?- Boys!- Girls!

4:24:36 > 4:24:39- Boys!- Girls!- Boys!- Ow!- Boys!
