0:00:02 > 0:00:04Scottish street trials rider and YouTube star Danny MacAskill
0:00:04 > 0:00:07is about to embark on an extraordinary new project,
0:00:07 > 0:00:12taking on a life-threatening challenge that has never been attempted before -
0:00:12 > 0:00:14to create an ambitious new film,
0:00:14 > 0:00:17promote his native home, the Isle of Skye,
0:00:17 > 0:00:20and achieve global viral success.
0:00:20 > 0:00:22This is awesome!
0:00:22 > 0:00:26The aim? To ride a bike on Skye's notorious Cuillin Ridgeline.
0:00:29 > 0:00:32If I injure myself doing something stupid then that's the whole filming off.
0:00:40 > 0:00:43Over the past six years, Danny MacAskill's bike riding ability
0:00:43 > 0:00:46has taken him to every corner of the globe.
0:00:46 > 0:00:48His unique blend of technical riding
0:00:48 > 0:00:51and jaw-dropping stunts has made him a household name
0:00:51 > 0:00:54and turned a lifetime hobby into a successful career.
0:00:54 > 0:00:56I don't really think too deeply about why it is
0:00:56 > 0:00:59I ride my bike, it's just something I love doing.
0:00:59 > 0:01:01Danny's success is down to
0:01:01 > 0:01:03a collection of creative internet films
0:01:03 > 0:01:06showcasing his incredible talent.
0:01:06 > 0:01:07Totalling over 100 million views,
0:01:07 > 0:01:09these films form the backbone
0:01:09 > 0:01:11to Danny's global recognition.
0:01:11 > 0:01:13You're always pushing to do
0:01:13 > 0:01:16something brand-new you've never tried before.
0:01:16 > 0:01:17With such a history of success,
0:01:17 > 0:01:20Danny's challenge continues to be searching for new concepts
0:01:20 > 0:01:23and locations to better his previous films.
0:01:24 > 0:01:28I've definitely got a high bar to set to make something different.
0:01:28 > 0:01:30For his latest project,
0:01:30 > 0:01:33Danny has returned to his childhood home, the Isle of Skye.
0:01:33 > 0:01:37Although I get to travel the world now, Skye is very much my home.
0:01:37 > 0:01:39You maybe don't appreciate it when you live here
0:01:39 > 0:01:41but it's quite a sort of magical place.
0:01:41 > 0:01:44He's looking to Skye's famous Cuillin mountains to draw
0:01:44 > 0:01:46inspiration for a new film.
0:01:46 > 0:01:48The Cuillin Ridge is definitely for me
0:01:48 > 0:01:51the sort of centre of Skye, the backbone of the island.
0:01:52 > 0:01:5717 peaks and 11 Munros make up the vast Cuillin mountain range,
0:01:57 > 0:02:01at the centre of which lies the infamous Inaccessible Pinnacle.
0:02:03 > 0:02:06The idea for the film is to feature Danny riding his bike
0:02:06 > 0:02:11and performing tricks at locations on and around the 12km ridge line.
0:02:11 > 0:02:13To help him realise this goal,
0:02:13 > 0:02:18Danny has teamed up with friend and film-maker Stu Thomson.
0:02:18 > 0:02:21Working with Danny, I think I have a very good understanding
0:02:21 > 0:02:23of what he has to do, and I think he has a very good
0:02:23 > 0:02:25understanding of the filming side.
0:02:25 > 0:02:29But this film is like nothing they've done before.
0:02:29 > 0:02:31Danny talked about riding the Cuillin Ridge.
0:02:31 > 0:02:34The main thing with that, though, is that he hadn't actually
0:02:34 > 0:02:37been on the Cuillin Ridge when he said he wanted to make a film there.
0:02:39 > 0:02:42To get an idea of the size of the challenge,
0:02:42 > 0:02:46Danny and Stu set off on their first ever climb up the ridge for a recce.
0:02:49 > 0:02:52It appears it's blowing a force-ten hooley,
0:02:52 > 0:02:55and we're on the top of the Inaccessible Pinnacle.
0:02:55 > 0:02:57It's one thing doing it on ground level where you've got
0:02:57 > 0:03:00your van parked out of shot or you're in a set
0:03:00 > 0:03:03or something like that. It's another thing trying to do this
0:03:03 > 0:03:06four hours in on a hike on the top of a ridge line.
0:03:06 > 0:03:08Deary me! HE CHUCKLES
0:03:08 > 0:03:11I think the hardest thing about it is definitely the access.
0:03:11 > 0:03:13Before we even, like, roll on the camera
0:03:13 > 0:03:16we're going to have to be walking for three or four hours
0:03:16 > 0:03:21hiking up huge, steep hills, scrambling, rock climbing parts.
0:03:21 > 0:03:25A very severe, very sharp, knife-edge ridge.
0:03:25 > 0:03:29Not the place you want to be taking your bike, that's for sure.
0:03:29 > 0:03:32Despite being faced with such an extreme environment,
0:03:32 > 0:03:35Danny and Stu have committed to the project and put together
0:03:35 > 0:03:39a crew equipped to deal with whatever challenges they may face.
0:03:39 > 0:03:40Everyone's very experienced
0:03:40 > 0:03:43and can deal with all sorts of different situations,
0:03:43 > 0:03:45and it's just a really strong unit, you know?
0:03:45 > 0:03:46It's a really strong group,
0:03:46 > 0:03:49and it's so, so important on a shoot like this to have that.
0:03:49 > 0:03:52The last project we did, we did 150 takes on one trick,
0:03:52 > 0:03:54whereas here we don't have that luxury
0:03:54 > 0:03:56cos we've got two weeks, we've got the weather,
0:03:56 > 0:03:58we don't know what's going to happen, you know?
0:03:58 > 0:04:02We just have to react all the time and just get as much done as we can.
0:04:02 > 0:04:04But filming in arguably
0:04:04 > 0:04:06the most dangerous mountain range in the UK
0:04:06 > 0:04:08comes with a serious risk.
0:04:08 > 0:04:10What scares you most about this film?
0:04:10 > 0:04:12Somebody getting hurt.
0:04:14 > 0:04:17Despite the significant risks involved,
0:04:17 > 0:04:19as dawn breaks on the opening day of the shoot,
0:04:19 > 0:04:21the crew's attention turns back
0:04:21 > 0:04:24to the traditional Scottish problem of the weather.
0:04:24 > 0:04:27What time is it? About seven o'clock?
0:04:27 > 0:04:28And we're...
0:04:28 > 0:04:31going to have a little trudge up a hill.
0:04:31 > 0:04:34Basically, the bit Danny's going to ride
0:04:34 > 0:04:37is that white bit up there.
0:04:37 > 0:04:40It's, erm...
0:04:40 > 0:04:43some view up there, apparently.
0:04:43 > 0:04:45Erm, yeah...
0:04:45 > 0:04:49It's looking fairly cloudy, but we're told by
0:04:49 > 0:04:52the weather forecasters and Matt,
0:04:52 > 0:04:55who's...he knows everything about the Cuillins,
0:04:55 > 0:04:57that it's going to get really nice later on,
0:04:57 > 0:05:00so we're going to risk it and walk three hours.
0:05:01 > 0:05:07The crew are faced with an arduous 3,000ft climb with heavy equipment.
0:05:07 > 0:05:12So today is our first day up the Cuillins, which is...
0:05:12 > 0:05:15yeah, pretty hard going.
0:05:15 > 0:05:18There's no path up it, pretty much just straight.
0:05:18 > 0:05:22I don't know what we're looking at, it's probably even past 45 degrees.
0:05:22 > 0:05:26Doing a hideous slog up onto the ridge.
0:05:26 > 0:05:31Pretty nice place to come and carry a miniature helicopter and batteries
0:05:31 > 0:05:34and big, random pieces of metal.
0:05:34 > 0:05:36- STU:- What have we been doing this morning?
0:05:36 > 0:05:38- Suffering. - OTHERS LAUGH
0:05:40 > 0:05:43But the pork pies taste nice.
0:05:45 > 0:05:48I mean, to be fair, it's my call to put the crew through this,
0:05:48 > 0:05:52however, I took advice from the local expert,
0:05:52 > 0:05:55which is Matt, over here. So, we took Matt's advice and he said,
0:05:55 > 0:05:57"Ah, by midday it'll be clear."
0:05:57 > 0:05:59So I think it's... What is it? Five to midday now?
0:05:59 > 0:06:01- Five to. We've got five minutes. - So we've got five minutes.
0:06:01 > 0:06:03With mist covering the entire ridge,
0:06:03 > 0:06:08lugging the hi tech aerial filming equipment could all be for nothing.
0:06:08 > 0:06:11Yesterday I thought it was the most amazing bit of kit I've ever seen
0:06:11 > 0:06:14and now I could happily just see it roll down the hillside.
0:06:14 > 0:06:16OTHERS LAUGH
0:06:16 > 0:06:19The mist shows no sign of clearing.
0:06:19 > 0:06:25We've been up here for about three hours or so with Danny.
0:06:25 > 0:06:26He seems pretty excited.
0:06:29 > 0:06:31SNORING
0:06:31 > 0:06:34It's quite tempting just to, like, just to roll him.
0:06:36 > 0:06:38SNORING
0:06:40 > 0:06:44Ten to four. At last, there's a hint of sun.
0:06:44 > 0:06:45Whoo!
0:06:45 > 0:06:50Nearly nine hours after setting off, filming can finally begin.
0:06:58 > 0:07:00The cloud cleared and it was just
0:07:00 > 0:07:04really amazing to be getting our first shots on the ridge.
0:07:05 > 0:07:09We just got the most spine-tingling views.
0:07:09 > 0:07:12It's kind of special. It almost makes it more worthwhile when you
0:07:12 > 0:07:15put that much effort in and you get the return of those amazing shots.
0:07:15 > 0:07:18The crew have had a successful first day,
0:07:18 > 0:07:21but there are still some far bigger challenges to come.
0:07:25 > 0:07:27After just a few hours' sleep,
0:07:27 > 0:07:31it's up again for the most ambitious day of the shoot.
0:07:31 > 0:07:33It's about four o'clock in the morning,
0:07:33 > 0:07:35and the plan today is we're going to head up
0:07:35 > 0:07:37to the Inaccessible Pinnacle.
0:07:37 > 0:07:41The aptly named Inaccessible Pinnacle is a pillar of rock
0:07:41 > 0:07:44that forms the summit to one of Scotland's toughest Munros.
0:07:44 > 0:07:46The plan is to get up to the Inaccessible Pinnacle
0:07:46 > 0:07:48and get Danny up there with his bike.
0:07:48 > 0:07:51Well, we don't know for sure, but we imagine it's the first time
0:07:51 > 0:07:53a bike's been ever on the Inaccessible Pinnacle.
0:07:53 > 0:07:56Considering the start of this week, it just showed it was going to be
0:07:56 > 0:08:01horrible conditions, and it's just changed so much, you know? It's...
0:08:01 > 0:08:03I can actually see the tops of pretty much all the Cuillins,
0:08:03 > 0:08:06which is a rare thing.
0:08:06 > 0:08:08So, yeah, I think it's going to be awesome.
0:08:16 > 0:08:196am, and we're up on the ridge.
0:08:19 > 0:08:23Definitely worth the early start.
0:08:23 > 0:08:25But now the real challenge begins:
0:08:25 > 0:08:28filming a shot of Danny and his bike standing at the top of the pinnacle,
0:08:28 > 0:08:31to create the film's most iconic image.
0:08:32 > 0:08:36With a massive vertical drop on either side,
0:08:36 > 0:08:38a mistake could prove fatal.
0:08:38 > 0:08:40The drop on one side is over-hanging and infinite,
0:08:40 > 0:08:43and the drop on the other side is even greater.
0:08:43 > 0:08:47Ooft! Right, this time. Are you ready?
0:08:47 > 0:08:51- OK.- Excellent. That was quite hard work, actually.
0:08:51 > 0:08:54The top of the In Pinn has been a dream of mine for years.
0:08:54 > 0:08:58It was quite an amazing moment when I was stood on top of the rock.
0:08:58 > 0:09:00This is awesome!
0:09:11 > 0:09:14Yooo! HE LAUGHS
0:09:14 > 0:09:18This is probably one of the coolest things I've ever done.
0:09:18 > 0:09:21Unbelievable. Like, it's everything we wanted.
0:09:21 > 0:09:24It's everything we wanted to... I guess, you know, he's not riding,
0:09:24 > 0:09:28but just showing off Skye for what it is and...
0:09:28 > 0:09:31Can't say too many people have been up there with a bike.
0:09:31 > 0:09:34With the summit shot complete, Danny repositions to allow
0:09:34 > 0:09:37a shot of him climbing up the pinnacle with his bike.
0:09:37 > 0:09:38You ready, Stu?
0:09:38 > 0:09:40So far, everything is going to plan.
0:09:40 > 0:09:42I'm just going to unclip quickly.
0:09:42 > 0:09:44Dude, keep the rope on.
0:09:44 > 0:09:47I'm... This is... This bit's fine.
0:09:49 > 0:09:53It makes it harder for me to walk with. OK.
0:09:56 > 0:09:59It's important to me to kind of be doing that stuff in a kind of
0:09:59 > 0:10:02legit manner, I don't want to be kind of fooling people.
0:10:02 > 0:10:04Here we go. HE EXHALES
0:10:04 > 0:10:06Sorry about that, man.
0:10:06 > 0:10:08- CREW MEMBER LAUGHS - You're mad!
0:10:08 > 0:10:10He doesn't listen to anyone, like.
0:10:10 > 0:10:14He just unclips himself and goes, "Ah, it'll be fine."
0:10:14 > 0:10:18Scrambles up while we're all down here going, "What you doin'?!"
0:10:18 > 0:10:23I just had to look away and just get Stu to do the filming dead quick.
0:10:23 > 0:10:26Climbing it one hand with a bike on your back, that's pretty different.
0:10:26 > 0:10:29So I guess that's where he just shows how good he is.
0:10:29 > 0:10:33Buoyed by the success at the Inaccessible Pinnacle,
0:10:33 > 0:10:37the crew traverse over to film Danny ride the notorious Collie's Ledge,
0:10:37 > 0:10:41a thin path that weaves perilously close to a heart-stopping drop.
0:10:41 > 0:10:42It's a strange one, actually,
0:10:42 > 0:10:45compared to what he does a lot of the time cos he's not doing a trick,
0:10:45 > 0:10:47he's literally riding along a bit of trail.
0:10:47 > 0:10:50But the difference is on the side of the trail it's, like...
0:10:50 > 0:10:52massive exposure.
0:10:53 > 0:10:56Collie's Ledge is a very exposed part of the Ridge,
0:10:56 > 0:11:00and there's a huge drop down into Coire Lagan.
0:11:00 > 0:11:02I'm good to go when you guys are.
0:11:02 > 0:11:04- ON RADIO:- 'OK, go for it when you're ready.'
0:11:10 > 0:11:11FRUSTRATED GROAN
0:11:11 > 0:11:14You're faced with a sort of line where
0:11:14 > 0:11:16if it goes wrong, there's literally no coming back from it.
0:11:16 > 0:11:18HELICOPTER BUZZES
0:11:20 > 0:11:22- ON RADIO:- 'OK, Danny, go for it.'
0:11:26 > 0:11:29For me, it's just another bit of trail that you just
0:11:29 > 0:11:31have to keep your wits about you on
0:11:31 > 0:11:36and make sure you don't clip a pedal or a handlebar that sends you off over a few-hundred-foot drop.
0:11:36 > 0:11:39- Can you reset that? - Yeah, that sort of speed?
0:11:39 > 0:11:41Yeah, that speed's good when we do it, yeah.
0:11:52 > 0:11:56That first hop is hard work.
0:11:56 > 0:11:59How was it looking?
0:11:59 > 0:12:00No way!
0:12:03 > 0:12:05That is so sick!
0:12:07 > 0:12:09It's a relentless schedule of long, gruelling days,
0:12:09 > 0:12:12but the film is starting to come together.
0:12:12 > 0:12:16Tough day yesterday, so I think today we're a little bit more relaxed.
0:12:16 > 0:12:20I say a little bit - we've still been hiking for two hours.
0:12:20 > 0:12:23My legs are a bit gubbed from, you know, the last four days
0:12:23 > 0:12:28of missioning about the place, so we'll see how it goes.
0:12:28 > 0:12:31Shooting at locations all around the ridge,
0:12:31 > 0:12:35the crew and Danny work tirelessly to capture all the shots they need.
0:12:35 > 0:12:38It's very important for me to feel that I've done my best.
0:12:38 > 0:12:43You know, until I've done that, I won't be happy.
0:12:43 > 0:12:46But it definitely comes through in the end result cos you've both
0:12:46 > 0:12:50worked as hard as you can to get that shot as perfect as possible.
0:12:50 > 0:12:53We got back last night, we all just literally
0:12:53 > 0:12:56looked at the footage straightaway and we were just like, "Yes!"
0:12:56 > 0:12:58Going into the final few days,
0:12:58 > 0:13:01there are still more shots to be captured right at the summit,
0:13:01 > 0:13:04along with an introduction and a huge final trick for the film.
0:13:08 > 0:13:11It's the last day of filming up on the ridge
0:13:11 > 0:13:14and the crew have moved to the north end to film on one of the most
0:13:14 > 0:13:17famous peaks of the Black Cuillin.
0:13:17 > 0:13:19Today we're up Sgurr nan Gillean.
0:13:19 > 0:13:22Definitely the most prominent Black Cuillin, the most famous one.
0:13:22 > 0:13:24And the plan is to go up onto the ridge line here,
0:13:24 > 0:13:28right at the north, and a couple more shots riding the ridge line,
0:13:28 > 0:13:31and then start to film Danny on the descent.
0:13:31 > 0:13:34Once again, they are faced with a long hike to the summit.
0:13:35 > 0:13:39Morale is high, I would say. Everyone is pretty happy with
0:13:39 > 0:13:42the footage we've got so far, I think.
0:13:42 > 0:13:45The only thing we're battling today is a little bit of fatigue.
0:13:45 > 0:13:48Oh, it's been well worth it. I love the pain. I love the punishment.
0:13:48 > 0:13:49You can't beat it.
0:13:49 > 0:13:52My feet are just kind of covered in blisters and stuff today.
0:13:52 > 0:13:54Just pain. We're all going through a bit of pain
0:13:54 > 0:13:56but we're absolutely loving it.
0:13:56 > 0:13:58Just say when you boys are ready.
0:13:58 > 0:13:59OK?
0:14:06 > 0:14:08This is a bit steeper than I thought.
0:14:08 > 0:14:09It's quite hard to tell from here
0:14:09 > 0:14:12cos we're so far away how technical the trail is,
0:14:12 > 0:14:15but I think it's just really steep and really difficult to ride.
0:14:21 > 0:14:23Ah! HE CHUCKLES
0:14:23 > 0:14:25Arrgh!
0:14:26 > 0:14:28Sorry, guys!
0:14:28 > 0:14:30'Yeah, I'd say I've had my fair share of injuries.'
0:14:30 > 0:14:33I've definitely had a few broken bones here and there
0:14:33 > 0:14:36and I've had a few sort of long-term injuries
0:14:36 > 0:14:38such as a torn disc in my lower back.
0:14:38 > 0:14:40- You ready?- Yeah, ready.
0:14:48 > 0:14:49Got it.
0:14:50 > 0:14:52That looked really good, actually.
0:14:52 > 0:14:55With more crucial ridge shots now in the can,
0:14:55 > 0:14:58Danny wants to attempt another big trick for the film.
0:14:58 > 0:15:01Just near the top here they've got these huge big flat boulders
0:15:01 > 0:15:04and Danny's just looking at doing a gap.
0:15:04 > 0:15:06Hopefully this gap's going to be quite easy.
0:15:06 > 0:15:10Literally everything Danny looks at every day is with
0:15:10 > 0:15:12the mindset of riding something, you know?
0:15:12 > 0:15:15Whether it's walking down the street in the middle of Glasgow
0:15:15 > 0:15:18or whether it's driving on a road somewhere in the Highlands
0:15:18 > 0:15:22or on the top of the Cuillins, like, it's just the way his mind works.
0:15:24 > 0:15:26BLEEP.
0:15:26 > 0:15:28That is hellishly rough.
0:15:33 > 0:15:34OK.
0:15:38 > 0:15:40I think...
0:15:44 > 0:15:46The tyre's going.
0:15:46 > 0:15:48Arrrghhh!
0:15:48 > 0:15:51It was difficult because it was a really, really big impact.
0:15:51 > 0:15:53It's one of these situations where actually
0:15:53 > 0:15:55because we're riding a mountain bike in this film
0:15:55 > 0:15:56it made it a lot harder.
0:16:00 > 0:16:02HE GROANS
0:16:02 > 0:16:04Arrghh!
0:16:04 > 0:16:06I really was struggling to hold it together on landing
0:16:06 > 0:16:08and get out of the shot.
0:16:08 > 0:16:10I feel like hoofing the bike down the hill, to be honest.
0:16:10 > 0:16:14Each time, both myself and the bike were making some funny noises.
0:16:14 > 0:16:18I've actually got a sore head because the impact's that hard.
0:16:18 > 0:16:21I was amazed that the bike took what it did, you know?
0:16:21 > 0:16:23It was really heavy going.
0:16:32 > 0:16:33'You know, I know I can do it,'
0:16:33 > 0:16:37so I'll just kind of keep going until I get it done.
0:16:42 > 0:16:44It's the penultimate day of filming,
0:16:44 > 0:16:48and the crew are taking to the water to create the film's opening scene.
0:16:48 > 0:16:50Today we're down in Elgol right by the coast
0:16:50 > 0:16:53and we're going to shoot the opening scene for the film.
0:16:53 > 0:16:56The opening scene is basically going to be Danny in a rowing boat
0:16:56 > 0:17:00and he's going to be rowing over towards Loch Coruisk.
0:17:00 > 0:17:01It's going to be a real nice way
0:17:01 > 0:17:04to start the film with a bit of character.
0:17:04 > 0:17:07I'm just going to be out there looking like I'm by myself,
0:17:07 > 0:17:10rowing away, you know, to go and start the ridge.
0:17:10 > 0:17:12Yeah - cheesing it up.
0:17:12 > 0:17:16The whole thing should be quite, kind of...quite emotive,
0:17:16 > 0:17:19but then really just powerful when you kind of see the Cuillins
0:17:19 > 0:17:22and the film begins properly when he gets on his bike.
0:17:22 > 0:17:25Energy's low but morale's good.
0:17:25 > 0:17:27Like, you're all tired, you're all knackered,
0:17:27 > 0:17:30you come back in and you look at the footage and it's like,
0:17:30 > 0:17:33"Wow!" you know? It really makes you realise it was totally worth it.
0:17:33 > 0:17:35All the sort of hiking,
0:17:35 > 0:17:37all the sort of sitting round and just the waiting.
0:17:37 > 0:17:38Yeah, everything about it.
0:17:38 > 0:17:41It's like, you get back, look at the footage and it's like,
0:17:41 > 0:17:45yeah, you can definitely see this is going to be really, really good.
0:17:50 > 0:17:52You're just going in towards this incredible landscape
0:17:52 > 0:17:55and it's just looking so threatening and huge in front of you.
0:17:57 > 0:18:00We see Danny, we see all these little detailed shots
0:18:00 > 0:18:03and then it's just like, boom, here's where he's going.
0:18:05 > 0:18:07I'm doing a little bit of token rowing.
0:18:07 > 0:18:09It's the first time I've rowed in years, which is quite good fun.
0:18:09 > 0:18:13Once across to edge of Loch Coruisk, Danny has an idea for a trick
0:18:13 > 0:18:18that will test his balance in the opening sequence for the film.
0:18:18 > 0:18:21As always, nothing's ever... nothing's ever easy.
0:18:25 > 0:18:26Aarrrgh!
0:18:26 > 0:18:28We'll see how it goes. We'll see how it goes.
0:18:40 > 0:18:42- APPLAUSE - Yeah!
0:18:46 > 0:18:49Good. I'm pretty happy. Nice wee line.
0:18:52 > 0:18:54Another good day. I can't quite believe it.
0:18:54 > 0:18:56I'm not quite sure what we've done to deserve it,
0:18:56 > 0:19:00but the results of the film seem to be working out.
0:19:09 > 0:19:12The final day of the shoot has arrived,
0:19:12 > 0:19:15and Danny has a difficult new trick that he has left to the very end.
0:19:18 > 0:19:20The trick he's doing, you call a bump front flip.
0:19:20 > 0:19:24He's sort of basically just crashing into a barbed wire fence
0:19:24 > 0:19:26and using it to do a front flip.
0:19:26 > 0:19:29And Danny's the only person in the world that can do it.
0:19:29 > 0:19:31Planning such a trick is one thing,
0:19:31 > 0:19:34but, for Danny, making it happen is a far bigger undertaking.
0:19:36 > 0:19:39Cos there's technique involved, this is, like, where...
0:19:39 > 0:19:42This is, to me, where you can get genuinely hurt,
0:19:42 > 0:19:46whereas being up the Pinnacle, Collie's Ledge, nothing like that.
0:19:46 > 0:19:49Agh! It gives me the fear so bad!
0:19:49 > 0:19:53The hardest thing is just getting it mentally straight that you can do it.
0:19:53 > 0:19:56Right. We're going to do it, we're going to do it.
0:20:04 > 0:20:07- Holy- BLEEP! - LAUGHTER
0:20:07 > 0:20:09There's a really fine line between hitting the fence too hard
0:20:09 > 0:20:12and your feet coming off the pedals...
0:20:14 > 0:20:17..and also not hitting the fence hard enough so you don't make it round.
0:20:17 > 0:20:21With Danny now confident he can get the rotation needed,
0:20:21 > 0:20:22the crew remove the crash mats.
0:20:22 > 0:20:25It's time to go for the final shot.
0:20:25 > 0:20:28Arghh! Goddamn it!
0:20:28 > 0:20:31It's just a scary thing to do and it doesn't matter how talented
0:20:31 > 0:20:34he is, you know, he's still pushing himself,
0:20:34 > 0:20:38so it's just as scary for him as us doing something way more basic.
0:20:38 > 0:20:39Dropping in.
0:20:44 > 0:20:48- APPLAUSE - Yeah!- Yeah, buddy!- Yeah, dude! Whoo!
0:20:51 > 0:20:53The final shot is in the can.
0:20:53 > 0:20:56After a week of the most spectacular scenery,
0:20:56 > 0:20:59lugging camera gear the equivalent of half the height of Everest,
0:20:59 > 0:21:03and capturing some spectacular riding along the Cuillin Ridgeline,
0:21:03 > 0:21:05it's been a successful shoot.
0:21:05 > 0:21:07Everything's worked so well.
0:21:07 > 0:21:11You know, the whole team, we've all been pushing so hard every day
0:21:11 > 0:21:13to kind of make it happen and...
0:21:13 > 0:21:16I don't know. It's been pretty wild.
0:21:17 > 0:21:21How do we top this, like? You know, the Cuillins are just stunning,
0:21:21 > 0:21:24the landscape's been beautiful all week and we've had this weather,
0:21:24 > 0:21:27so it's like, "OK, what the hell are we going to do next?"
0:21:29 > 0:21:32Definitely far exceeded my expectations of what
0:21:32 > 0:21:38we were going to get done in this time. So, yeah, it's been amazing.
0:21:38 > 0:21:41So, as the crew celebrate the end of the shoot,
0:21:41 > 0:21:43let's see the results of their hard work.
