0:00:04 > 0:00:09South Wales has more gyms, tanning salons and beauty parlours

0:00:09 > 0:00:12per square mile than anywhere else in Britain.

0:00:14 > 0:00:16It's a recession-busting industry

0:00:16 > 0:00:20grossing an estimated two billion a year...

0:00:20 > 0:00:22If you're good-looking, you get a better life!

0:00:22 > 0:00:24SHE LAUGHS

0:00:24 > 0:00:28..and it's fuelled by the wants and desires of a generation.

0:00:28 > 0:00:32Hair, beauty, money, fitness, health -

0:00:32 > 0:00:34it's all a part of living.

0:00:34 > 0:00:37I think it's part of our culture.

0:00:37 > 0:00:41For the Welsh under 30s, hymns and arias have been replaced

0:00:41 > 0:00:44by protein shakes and Botox.

0:00:44 > 0:00:47How you look, is who you are.

0:00:47 > 0:00:49Oh, my bum likes that.

0:00:49 > 0:00:52What all women want the moment is a big bum, little waist.

0:00:52 > 0:00:54Like I've always said to Matthew,

0:00:54 > 0:00:56it's better to be looked at than overlooked.

0:00:56 > 0:00:58It's as simple as that.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00But beauty doesn't come cheap.

0:01:00 > 0:01:04You're looking at around £6,000 or £7,000 just on bikinis.

0:01:04 > 0:01:06Don't tell anybody - I spent, like, two grand

0:01:06 > 0:01:08in the last two in a half weeks.

0:01:08 > 0:01:10What?! On what?

0:01:10 > 0:01:15So, in these tight economic times, what drives the muscled men...

0:01:15 > 0:01:17The tattooed girls...

0:01:17 > 0:01:19Do you like it?

0:01:19 > 0:01:22..and the image obsessed gym bunnies to push their bodies

0:01:22 > 0:01:25and their bank balances to the brink...

0:01:26 > 0:01:28HE GROANS

0:01:28 > 0:01:32..leaving them all feeling young, Welsh and pretty skint?

0:01:39 > 0:01:40Let's have a look.

0:01:40 > 0:01:43In imaged obsessed Wales, the average under 30-year-old

0:01:43 > 0:01:47spends 70% of their disposable income on how they look.

0:01:47 > 0:01:51Clothes, beauty products, body enhancements -

0:01:51 > 0:01:53all set the tills ringing.

0:01:56 > 0:02:00But in an age of arse aerobics, ricoshake and the 24-hour gym,

0:02:00 > 0:02:04it's the ever-expanding Welsh workout industry

0:02:04 > 0:02:05that's truly raking it in.

0:02:08 > 0:02:12With a market value estimated to be in excess of £600 million,

0:02:12 > 0:02:16the business of being beautifully buff equals big bucks.

0:02:18 > 0:02:22So, whether you're looking for Kim Kardashian glutes,

0:02:22 > 0:02:23man boobs,

0:02:23 > 0:02:26or, like 24-year-old Caitlin preparing to compete

0:02:26 > 0:02:29in the latest international image and beauty craze,

0:02:29 > 0:02:33the gym will be the place where you spend most of your time...

0:02:36 > 0:02:39..and money.

0:02:39 > 0:02:42I'm a perfectionist in everything I do.

0:02:42 > 0:02:45I'm very OCD in particular about what I like -

0:02:45 > 0:02:47what I don't like, as well.

0:02:47 > 0:02:50When it comes to being able to dress up and doll myself up,

0:02:50 > 0:02:53I like to go the full hog and enjoy the way I look.

0:02:53 > 0:02:55I think, I work hard on my body,

0:02:55 > 0:02:59why shouldn't I be able to show it off and look the best that I can?

0:02:59 > 0:03:01That's good. Hold it there.

0:03:01 > 0:03:03Looking at me.

0:03:03 > 0:03:04Brilliant.

0:03:04 > 0:03:08My name is Caitlin Silcox. I'm 24 years old.

0:03:08 > 0:03:09I'm from Llanelli

0:03:09 > 0:03:13and I'm a full-time student studying sports nutrition.

0:03:15 > 0:03:17I'm also a fitness model.

0:03:17 > 0:03:19Currently, I'm in training

0:03:19 > 0:03:23for the World Beauty Fitness and Fashion competition,

0:03:23 > 0:03:26which will be held later this month in the O2 Arena.

0:03:27 > 0:03:32But what exactly is a Beauty Fitness And Fashion competition?

0:03:32 > 0:03:35Well, it's not about how fast you can run in your heels

0:03:35 > 0:03:38and it's definitely not bodybuilding.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41With the traditional bodybuilder, as you look at it,

0:03:41 > 0:03:45I suppose people say it's more of a masculine look.

0:03:45 > 0:03:47It has completely come away from that now.

0:03:47 > 0:03:49With the fitness competition,

0:03:49 > 0:03:51typically, it is more with the overall package.

0:03:51 > 0:03:53They want the sexy side of things,

0:03:53 > 0:03:56but then they also want the pretty girl next door,

0:03:56 > 0:03:59someone that people can relate to and look up to.

0:03:59 > 0:04:04You know, do they look good in a pair of hot pants and sports bra?

0:04:04 > 0:04:10Girls want tiny waists - mini waists - big bum, nice toned legs -

0:04:10 > 0:04:13a bikini body - and it is more of a toned look,

0:04:13 > 0:04:17rather than an overly developed physique.

0:04:17 > 0:04:20Is your average female going to look up to someone

0:04:20 > 0:04:22who's petite but nicely toned

0:04:22 > 0:04:23and say, "I want to look like them,"

0:04:23 > 0:04:26rather than a woman who is overly developed

0:04:26 > 0:04:28and starts to have manly features?

0:04:28 > 0:04:30Hmm...

0:04:30 > 0:04:33To the casual observer, beauty fitness modelling might come across

0:04:33 > 0:04:37like the love child of Miss World and Mr Universe,

0:04:37 > 0:04:40but in just ten years, it's grown from a minority sport

0:04:40 > 0:04:44into a multi-million pound global brand.

0:04:44 > 0:04:47Live events entice hundreds of competitors,

0:04:47 > 0:04:52crowds in their thousands, plus further tens of thousands of punters

0:04:52 > 0:04:55paying for the privilege of pay-per-view.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58The competitions - men as well as women -

0:04:58 > 0:05:02are split into professional and amateur categories.

0:05:02 > 0:05:04And whilst the winners take home little more

0:05:04 > 0:05:07than a couple of hundred quid and a plastic trophy,

0:05:07 > 0:05:10away from the catwalk, successful professional competitors

0:05:10 > 0:05:14command healthy modelling contracts and sponsorship deals.

0:05:14 > 0:05:17They also become social media stars,

0:05:17 > 0:05:21attracting hundreds of thousands of online followers.

0:05:21 > 0:05:25It's a lifestyle that Caitlin, still an amateur, aspires to -

0:05:25 > 0:05:28and, already, she herself has a gobsmacking

0:05:28 > 0:05:3017,000 Instagram followers.

0:05:30 > 0:05:34Not a bad start for a cash-strapped, live at home uni student.

0:05:34 > 0:05:37But Caitlin is no overnight success.

0:05:37 > 0:05:40Just three years ago, far from being buff and looking good,

0:05:40 > 0:05:44she was a nonstop party girl going through an identity crisis.

0:05:44 > 0:05:48I went out to Marbella at the age of 18

0:05:48 > 0:05:51and I went to go work behind a bar - I was working in Linekers Bar.

0:05:51 > 0:05:55I did have a job working in a club as a podium dancer.

0:05:55 > 0:05:58I was working from nine o'clock of an evening

0:05:58 > 0:06:00until 6, 7am in the morning.

0:06:00 > 0:06:03You could see I lived the typical party girl lifestyle.

0:06:03 > 0:06:05I was living off, usually, fast food

0:06:05 > 0:06:08and then I was consuming copious amounts of alcohol

0:06:08 > 0:06:11pretty much six to seven days a week.

0:06:11 > 0:06:15It is a gradual thing that you see your physique changing

0:06:15 > 0:06:17and I just felt I was holding more weight,

0:06:17 > 0:06:19my skin was having break-outs,

0:06:19 > 0:06:22I had to cut my hair really short because it was breaking off -

0:06:22 > 0:06:24it was just a general lack of health.

0:06:24 > 0:06:26It was me just being, I suppose, a bit ignorant

0:06:26 > 0:06:28to what I should and shouldn't be doing.

0:06:28 > 0:06:30I don't regret anything I've done.

0:06:30 > 0:06:33Going out to Spain was a big learning curve

0:06:33 > 0:06:36and it was moving away from home, being completely independent,

0:06:36 > 0:06:40but it was realising, right, OK. You've had your fun now.

0:06:40 > 0:06:44You've done a couple of seasons of this, it's time to go back,

0:06:44 > 0:06:48get your head down and work on what you want to do.

0:06:48 > 0:06:50I'm not going to be 18 forever.

0:06:51 > 0:06:56So, Caitlin said adios to her party lifestyle and her independence

0:06:56 > 0:06:59and returned to the family home in Llanelli,

0:06:59 > 0:07:01starting a degree in sports nutrition,

0:07:01 > 0:07:03and, as we shall see later,

0:07:03 > 0:07:07undertaking a physically, mentally - and for her parents, at least -

0:07:07 > 0:07:12financially punishing lifestyle, in order to pursue her dreams

0:07:12 > 0:07:16of becoming an internationally renowned beauty and fitness model.

0:07:16 > 0:07:19Whilst Caitlin's chosen path to looking good

0:07:19 > 0:07:22may well be the latest exotic sideshow,

0:07:22 > 0:07:26the bread and butter of the Welsh beauty business is the local salon.

0:07:26 > 0:07:29Offering everything from bobs to Botox,

0:07:29 > 0:07:32there are over 2,000 independent hair and beauty parlours

0:07:32 > 0:07:35across South Wales, generating an annual turnover

0:07:35 > 0:07:39in excess of £150,000,000.

0:07:40 > 0:07:42Although, for 26-year-old Jade,

0:07:42 > 0:07:46whose family run salon is in Bryn Coch in the Neath Valley,

0:07:46 > 0:07:49the beauty business means more than just money.

0:07:49 > 0:07:54For Jade, it's beyond a way of life, it's a philosophy.

0:07:54 > 0:07:57Having your hair done is a massive deal.

0:07:57 > 0:08:00It's not the most important thing in life, in the universe,

0:08:00 > 0:08:01but it's a good place to start.

0:08:01 > 0:08:05- How is this bit doing? - It's all right, yeah.- Yeah.

0:08:05 > 0:08:07Because if your hair is right, then you feel right

0:08:07 > 0:08:10and your life is going to go completely how you planned it.

0:08:10 > 0:08:11SHE LAUGHS

0:08:11 > 0:08:15- Rian's been stressed.- Yes. - So, her hair's taken a toll.

0:08:16 > 0:08:19And the answer to stressed hair Chez Jade is...

0:08:19 > 0:08:21hair extensions.

0:08:21 > 0:08:25Wigs are quite - they're old school.

0:08:25 > 0:08:28- Extensions have been on trend for a while now, haven't they?- Yeah.

0:08:28 > 0:08:30- Especially around here, isn't it? - Yes.

0:08:30 > 0:08:34The interesting thing about hair extensions and extra hair

0:08:34 > 0:08:37is that it almost empowers people,

0:08:37 > 0:08:40they slightly take on that personality -

0:08:40 > 0:08:43they choose who they want to be.

0:08:43 > 0:08:46What's the real reason why you have extensions?

0:08:46 > 0:08:48The real reason?

0:08:48 > 0:08:53- It makes me feel sexy. - Yeah, it makes me feel sexy.

0:08:53 > 0:08:55Women are beautiful without the extra hair,

0:08:55 > 0:08:58we don't need the extra hair,

0:08:58 > 0:09:02but there's something about having that feminine,

0:09:02 > 0:09:04long, glossy, healthy hair,

0:09:04 > 0:09:06and if you can get it in an hour

0:09:06 > 0:09:10instead of taking ten years to grow it - why not?

0:09:10 > 0:09:13I just love hair extensions.

0:09:13 > 0:09:14However...

0:09:14 > 0:09:17There's a very dark side to hair extensions

0:09:17 > 0:09:21and I've seen that, and I will be honest and I will admit it...

0:09:21 > 0:09:24No, it's not just because they're made from real human hair,

0:09:24 > 0:09:27it's that they're also terrifyingly pricy.

0:09:27 > 0:09:31- How much are they for a pack of 50, they're about...- 89.

0:09:31 > 0:09:33- ..89 for a pack of 50.- Yeah.

0:09:33 > 0:09:36And say if we have 100, that's about £160.

0:09:36 > 0:09:39- And then there's...- And that's before the cost of putting them in.

0:09:39 > 0:09:42And you have to have that done, say, every...

0:09:42 > 0:09:45Say, now you have 100 bonds, that's £180, 280,

0:09:45 > 0:09:49and then you have to do have the maintenance kit,

0:09:49 > 0:09:50- which is 50 quid.- Yeah.

0:09:50 > 0:09:52That's like 320.

0:09:52 > 0:09:54And then regular blow-dries to keep them

0:09:54 > 0:09:56and you need to keep a check on them.

0:09:56 > 0:09:58Don't ever add it up, because it'll make you sick

0:09:58 > 0:10:00- if you look back at your bank account.- Yeah!

0:10:00 > 0:10:03But there is a recession-bending solution.

0:10:03 > 0:10:07So, basically, Leanne, we have to wait until you get paid,

0:10:07 > 0:10:10so, for now, she's renting her extensions.

0:10:10 > 0:10:14That's right, for just £10 a night plus fitting and removal,

0:10:14 > 0:10:17thousands of Welsh girls are currently leasing their locks

0:10:17 > 0:10:19from a hairdresser,

0:10:19 > 0:10:24and young entrepreneur Jade has got eyes on extending the market.

0:10:24 > 0:10:26Do you know what I really want to do?

0:10:26 > 0:10:29I want to do extensions on a boy. Do you like a lot of hair on men?

0:10:29 > 0:10:31Foreign men...

0:10:31 > 0:10:32- BOTH:- Yes!

0:10:32 > 0:10:35Spanish men, Italian men, looks amazing.

0:10:35 > 0:10:37And beards?

0:10:37 > 0:10:40- I just think some men... - Makes men more manly.

0:10:40 > 0:10:42They look more attractive with a beard.

0:10:42 > 0:10:44But it's scary, because they can be hiding a lot -

0:10:44 > 0:10:46hiding a double chin, you know.

0:10:46 > 0:10:49- Didn't think of that. - Hiding anything, really!

0:10:49 > 0:10:54But it's not... When you kiss somebody with a beard,

0:10:54 > 0:10:56it's not all that great, is it?

0:10:56 > 0:10:59Well, I think a nice amount of hair is nice.

0:10:59 > 0:11:03But not too much. If it's a BEARD beard, no.

0:11:03 > 0:11:07What about, um, when, like, he gets down to business?

0:11:07 > 0:11:09I just can't do it. Can you imagine...

0:11:09 > 0:11:12- You know, like, with a beard... - I think stubble's nice.

0:11:12 > 0:11:14..in between your thighs!

0:11:14 > 0:11:17It's scary!

0:11:17 > 0:11:21Stubble is nice, stubble is nice, but, um, no,

0:11:21 > 0:11:22I can't be doing with a long beard, man.

0:11:22 > 0:11:25- Neat beards.- What do you think started it off, though?

0:11:25 > 0:11:28- The whole, you know, beard look. - It's got to be something, hasn't it?

0:11:28 > 0:11:30Maybe Isis?

0:11:31 > 0:11:33I really love it.

0:11:33 > 0:11:34It's really nice.

0:11:34 > 0:11:36- A pleasure.- Thank you.

0:11:36 > 0:11:39Look at me, look at me! You love it!

0:11:40 > 0:11:41Oww!

0:11:41 > 0:11:46Last year on Young, Welsh and Pretty Skint, we met Marc and Corey,

0:11:46 > 0:11:51two twentysomething goodtime guys who live to look fit and party.

0:11:51 > 0:11:53What does he look like, is he handsome?

0:11:53 > 0:11:57They splashed out all their available cash

0:11:57 > 0:12:00getting buff down the gym, loading up on supplements

0:12:00 > 0:12:04and topping up on their exacting beauty regimes.

0:12:05 > 0:12:07Ohh!

0:12:07 > 0:12:09So, what are they up to now?

0:12:09 > 0:12:13Well, on the surface, little has changed for Corey and Marc.

0:12:13 > 0:12:16Whilst both boys are holding down jobs in the security industry,

0:12:16 > 0:12:19all their spare cash is still being flashed

0:12:19 > 0:12:21on tanning beds and treatments.

0:12:23 > 0:12:26But having spent a fortune on looking good

0:12:26 > 0:12:30with no discernible net gains, are things suddenly about to change?

0:12:32 > 0:12:35The boys have been contacted by Mark Paul Jones,

0:12:35 > 0:12:38Llanelli's number one premier talent manager.

0:12:40 > 0:12:43Agent Mark's talent agency is called The A Gent,

0:12:43 > 0:12:45and he's met lots of famous people.

0:12:47 > 0:12:52And now, agent Mark has got a plan to keep the boys pretty

0:12:52 > 0:12:54but no longer skint.

0:12:54 > 0:12:57I used to do work as a topless butler,

0:12:57 > 0:13:01and after I went on TV, I bumped into Mark.

0:13:01 > 0:13:04One night, I was at my mate's bar,

0:13:04 > 0:13:07and he was outside doing topless butlering.

0:13:07 > 0:13:08So, I approached him.

0:13:08 > 0:13:11And he was saying, you know, what have you been doing

0:13:11 > 0:13:13since you've been on TV and everything?

0:13:13 > 0:13:16And said, you know, I haven't really been doing nothing.

0:13:16 > 0:13:19I said, look, I think we can, you know, do stuff together,

0:13:19 > 0:13:23I think you've got something, I'm not sure exactly what yet.

0:13:23 > 0:13:25I was like, oh, wow, this guy's nuts, you know,

0:13:25 > 0:13:27I can't take this guy seriously.

0:13:27 > 0:13:30But he gave me his card and he said, drop me an e-mail and whatever.

0:13:30 > 0:13:33He sent me an e-mail, we met up.

0:13:33 > 0:13:36He introduced Marc then and I thought, OK,

0:13:36 > 0:13:41these work together good, but how can we make them better?

0:13:41 > 0:13:45So, that's where I'm at now, trying to mould them to get them

0:13:45 > 0:13:48where they need to be, not where they are.

0:13:50 > 0:13:54And as a first step towards getting them to where they need to be,

0:13:54 > 0:13:57agent Mark has called the boys to a careers meeting.

0:13:59 > 0:14:02Mmm, right. What do you want to do in the next five years?

0:14:02 > 0:14:05Where do you see yourself in five years' time?

0:14:05 > 0:14:08I wouldn't mind doing some fitness modelling, maybe, or...

0:14:08 > 0:14:10- Just modelling?- Well... - Modelling, or anything...

0:14:10 > 0:14:12We could be presenters.

0:14:12 > 0:14:14- I can see you being presenters, but...- Like Ant and Dec.

0:14:14 > 0:14:16Like Ant and Dec!

0:14:16 > 0:14:20But you know it's hard work? It's not just fun.

0:14:20 > 0:14:23It's mind over matter, you have to focus.

0:14:23 > 0:14:26Like you say, Ant and Dec - how do you think they started?

0:14:26 > 0:14:30It's the same principle, you've got to start from somewhere.

0:14:30 > 0:14:36You've got chemistry, but you've got to, er, progress, learn...

0:14:36 > 0:14:40- Yeah, yeah.- ..but you've got to listen and understand, that's all.

0:14:40 > 0:14:45My motto is, say now, you put a person in a dark room,

0:14:45 > 0:14:48all bad words, negative things in the room,

0:14:48 > 0:14:50it's all grey and dark, right?

0:14:50 > 0:14:52- Mm.- Within half an hour,

0:14:52 > 0:14:57that person's going to feel down and bad and wrong.

0:14:57 > 0:14:59Now, you've got another room,

0:14:59 > 0:15:02with all colours and put a person in that room,

0:15:02 > 0:15:05with all positive things in the room, right?

0:15:05 > 0:15:08How are they going to feel after half an hour?

0:15:08 > 0:15:10- Which one would...- The light one. - Right.

0:15:10 > 0:15:14And is that because of the person, or because of their surroundings?

0:15:14 > 0:15:16- Surroundings.- Right, so, if I...

0:15:16 > 0:15:19Words of wisdom. Many words of wisdom!

0:15:19 > 0:15:23So, if I change the surroundings, will that change your mind?

0:15:23 > 0:15:26- Yeah, it will.- Give it a go, innit? Give it a go, try it.- Give it a go.

0:15:26 > 0:15:28- Are we cool with that?- Yeah, cool.

0:15:28 > 0:15:31And that's the idea I've got in my head - you've done your body,

0:15:31 > 0:15:34you've done your fitness, now it's time to sort your mind out,

0:15:34 > 0:15:36- do you know what I mean?- Yeah.

0:15:36 > 0:15:38Just trust me, if it fails, it fails,

0:15:38 > 0:15:40but I can't see it failing,

0:15:40 > 0:15:43because I won't take no for an answer, and I think...

0:15:43 > 0:15:47- The dream team! - That's all right, innit?- Massive!

0:15:47 > 0:15:48- Do it!- Let's do it.

0:15:48 > 0:15:53'I think modelling, yeah, OK, they could do some modelling type stuff.'

0:15:53 > 0:15:56But I think the key element is presenting,

0:15:56 > 0:16:01whether it be backstage at events, could be on the red carpet,

0:16:01 > 0:16:05interviewing A-listers of the world, doesn't matter where it is,

0:16:05 > 0:16:09it could be New York, could be London, I've got good links

0:16:09 > 0:16:12with the Cannes Film Festival, the F1 in Monaco,

0:16:12 > 0:16:17so, taking them to different places and introducing them

0:16:17 > 0:16:21to big businesses, celebrities, anything, really.

0:16:26 > 0:16:28As a first step to stardom,

0:16:28 > 0:16:32agent Mark has arranged a photoshoot for the boys.

0:16:32 > 0:16:35They aim to put together a portfolio of pukka pics.

0:16:35 > 0:16:38The photoshoot today, we're going to use for branding,

0:16:38 > 0:16:42big companies, casting directors, producers, directors,

0:16:42 > 0:16:46to pitch them forward for casting for film, TV, maybe radio,

0:16:46 > 0:16:48magazines, that type of thing.

0:16:48 > 0:16:50In order to capture the boys at their best,

0:16:50 > 0:16:52no expense has been spared,

0:16:52 > 0:16:56and Mark has brought in professional models, make-up artists,

0:16:56 > 0:16:59a dresser and a creative director.

0:16:59 > 0:17:01Remember, when you're posing, you're advertising.

0:17:01 > 0:17:04So, it's a glamour-filled first for the boys,

0:17:04 > 0:17:06and they are pretty excited.

0:17:06 > 0:17:08How about doing it with this on my head

0:17:08 > 0:17:10and pretend that I don't know it's on my head?

0:17:10 > 0:17:13- Come on, got to be professional, yeah?- That's not professional!

0:17:13 > 0:17:14All right, all right.

0:17:14 > 0:17:16All these people here are supporting you,

0:17:16 > 0:17:21they've come from all over the place to make your life a reality,

0:17:21 > 0:17:26- the change - about that coloured room and stuff?- I remember that.

0:17:26 > 0:17:30- So, all these people... - This is the coloured room!

0:17:30 > 0:17:32This is the start, this is the beginning.

0:17:32 > 0:17:34Are you ready for make-up, boys?

0:17:34 > 0:17:36Oh, yeah. I'm ready, yeah.

0:17:36 > 0:17:38'I've never done a photoshoot before,'

0:17:38 > 0:17:41so, it's a nice new experience for me, really.

0:17:41 > 0:17:43And then just, like, smarten up his eyebrows a sec...

0:17:43 > 0:17:46- My eyebrows?- Yeah.- They're nice! - They're just a bit wonky.

0:17:46 > 0:17:50It's a different experience, something completely new.

0:17:50 > 0:17:52He needs foundation because he's got very red skin.

0:17:52 > 0:17:55Yes, sunburnt, that is. Burnt!

0:17:55 > 0:17:56I was happy with my eyebrows,

0:17:56 > 0:17:58but the woman said they needed smartening up,

0:17:58 > 0:18:00they weren't good enough, apparently,

0:18:00 > 0:18:02so she's smartening them up.

0:18:02 > 0:18:04Can you take this bangle off as well, please?

0:18:04 > 0:18:08Well, it's not a bangle, it's... It was off a monk, it was.

0:18:08 > 0:18:09Up in Merthyr.

0:18:09 > 0:18:13I know it's off a monk, but it's not for this shot, it looks messy.

0:18:13 > 0:18:16It looks like there is a dirty elastic band round your wrist.

0:18:16 > 0:18:18You wouldn't see a monk getting his eyebrows done, would you?

0:18:18 > 0:18:21- You don't see that, do you? - No, no, they're not allowed.

0:18:21 > 0:18:24We are in dodgy territory now, we might offend some monks and shit.

0:18:24 > 0:18:27Never, ever had this done before.

0:18:27 > 0:18:29First time I've had make-up on my face, haven't I?

0:18:29 > 0:18:31This could be happening every day,

0:18:31 > 0:18:34so, you could be doing a shoot here today,

0:18:34 > 0:18:36then you could be doing a shoot somewhere else,

0:18:36 > 0:18:38and this is how you'd be treated.

0:18:38 > 0:18:41If you were going on a TV programme early in the morning,

0:18:41 > 0:18:44you'd have to be there at, like, six, maybe five.

0:18:47 > 0:18:49and this is how you'd be treated, yeah?

0:18:49 > 0:18:52- Got it?- Well, all celebrities and all stars wear make-up, don't they?

0:18:52 > 0:18:55All men and that, don't they?

0:18:55 > 0:18:58Oh, your lips are looking nice there, Mark.

0:18:58 > 0:19:01Really nice lips, yeah, lovely.

0:19:37 > 0:19:40Within the competition that I'm going in for,

0:19:40 > 0:19:44it's called a fitness category, so, you want nice, rounded glutes,

0:19:44 > 0:19:48that's a big bum, and same with the legs, nice definition in the legs.

0:19:50 > 0:19:53I am actually very petite, so I've had to work on my legs,

0:20:52 > 0:20:54so you can imagine how much it adds up.

0:20:56 > 0:21:00Well, taking in fuel and gym fees alone, there won't be much change

0:21:00 > 0:21:04from £10,000, and that's just the start of Caitlin's costs.
