0:00:02 > 0:00:04- Hi, I'm Max.- I'm Harvey. - BOTH: Welcome to our lives!

0:00:04 > 0:00:06Life has been non-stop crazy lately, and we wanted to

0:00:06 > 0:00:08- share our journey with you. Yay!- Oh, Yay!

0:00:08 > 0:00:11So we've been keeping this video diary of what's been going on.

0:00:11 > 0:00:14Oh, yes, we're going to have so much fun!

0:00:39 > 0:00:44We are obviously filming this because we are hoping to kind of

0:00:44 > 0:00:47make a career out of what we're doing now,

0:00:47 > 0:00:49and obviously we're showing all you guys what we're doing

0:00:49 > 0:00:52behind the scenes and everything like that.

0:00:52 > 0:00:55You're well annoying to work with and a pain in the bum,

0:00:55 > 0:00:59but it is kind of handy that our minds basically do

0:00:59 > 0:01:01kind of think alike a lot of the time.

0:01:01 > 0:01:04Catch it. Catch it!

0:01:04 > 0:01:05I did not know where it was then!

0:01:20 > 0:01:24We are a very interesting family, but a fun family, nonetheless.

0:01:24 > 0:01:26I probably get along with Tilly better,

0:01:26 > 0:01:28and Harvey probably gets along with Leo better.

0:01:28 > 0:01:29No, every man for himself.

0:01:29 > 0:01:31- OK...- Family!

0:01:31 > 0:01:34- OK...- Family!

0:01:34 > 0:01:37# We are family! #

0:01:37 > 0:01:40Max is really good at doing the guitar,

0:01:40 > 0:01:42and Harvey's really good at doing the drums,

0:01:42 > 0:01:45and their singing is really good as well.

0:01:48 > 0:01:52I'm Harvey. I'm 14 years old. Obviously, Max is my twin.

0:01:52 > 0:01:54I'm the older twin cos I'm cooler.

0:01:54 > 0:01:56Hi, I'm Max. I don't know if you can tell.

0:01:56 > 0:01:58Maybe it will help with the hat.

0:01:58 > 0:02:01The best way to tell us apart is probably with what we wear.

0:02:01 > 0:02:04So, Max normally wears a hat, and I normally wear sunglasses.

0:02:04 > 0:02:08Once you get to know us, our voices are a bit different,

0:02:08 > 0:02:10and I think facially, there are some different features,

0:02:10 > 0:02:14but other than the hat, there's not much.

0:02:14 > 0:02:17At home, it's really normal, like, it's, like, a normal life.

0:02:17 > 0:02:20There's nothing different, nothing has changed,

0:02:20 > 0:02:25except from having a kind of routine to post things on social media

0:02:25 > 0:02:28to make sure our fans are happy and, like, we're giving them...

0:02:29 > 0:02:34..videos to watch, and in return, they give us...happiness.

0:02:36 > 0:02:39Five, four, three, two...

0:02:41 > 0:02:46# You've been scared of love and what it did to you

0:02:46 > 0:02:51# You don't have to run I know what you've been through

0:02:51 > 0:02:55# Just a simple touch And it can set you free

0:02:55 > 0:03:00# We don't have to rush When you're alone with me

0:03:01 > 0:03:05# I feel it coming I feel it coming, babe

0:03:05 > 0:03:09# I feel it coming I feel it coming, babe

0:03:10 > 0:03:14# I feel it coming I feel it coming, babe

0:03:14 > 0:03:17# I feel it coming

0:03:17 > 0:03:20# I feel it coming, babe. #

0:03:20 > 0:03:22Yeah, it's OK. I'll buy that.

0:03:31 > 0:03:35When we first went into a recording studio to actually record a song,

0:03:35 > 0:03:38I was just thinking, "How is this going to sound?"

0:03:38 > 0:03:44Like, because I've seen so many people perform live,

0:03:44 > 0:03:47and it's so different to how they sound on a track.

0:03:48 > 0:03:50OK, Harvey?

0:03:53 > 0:03:57- All right, let's give it a try. Give it a test run, anyway.- Yeah.

0:03:57 > 0:04:01# Oh, my father always told me When you find someone to love

0:04:01 > 0:04:05# It shouldn't cost a penny Cos your heart should be enough

0:04:05 > 0:04:07# Oh, my mother always taught me... #

0:04:07 > 0:04:10This is our new track, Gold.

0:04:10 > 0:04:13# You find treasure when you find someone to live out all your days

0:04:13 > 0:04:17# Ain't got money in my pocket I've got tears in my jeans

0:04:17 > 0:04:21# I got sand in my shoes And I got holes in my jeans

0:04:21 > 0:04:27# But I've got you Yeah, I got you... #

0:04:27 > 0:04:29That's one out, and really good.

0:04:30 > 0:04:33Max and I, especially when we first ever recorded something,

0:04:33 > 0:04:37were very used to just singing outside,

0:04:37 > 0:04:39with no microphones at all and just kind of blasting it out.

0:04:39 > 0:04:41Obviously, in a recording studio,

0:04:41 > 0:04:45you can't just sing as loud as you possibly can,

0:04:45 > 0:04:48because that just kind of would sound terrible.

0:04:54 > 0:04:57# We'll make it out someday We'll be running side by side

0:04:57 > 0:04:59# But how long it takes to get there

0:04:59 > 0:05:01# No, I don't really care

0:05:01 > 0:05:04# Cos a love like yours will make any man

0:05:04 > 0:05:07# Feel like a millionaire... #

0:05:07 > 0:05:10- Yeah, I think that was the one.- OK. - Sounded really good.

0:05:10 > 0:05:13Can I get both of you in there doing some stuff together?

0:05:13 > 0:05:15Yes.

0:05:17 > 0:05:20# Ain't another man richer They got coins in their hands

0:05:20 > 0:05:23# But I, I, I got you

0:05:25 > 0:05:28# Yeah, their diamonds may glimmer But they don't understand

0:05:28 > 0:05:32# That I, I, I got you

0:05:32 > 0:05:36# And it feels like gold

0:05:41 > 0:05:43# And it feels like gold

0:05:48 > 0:05:52# And it feels like gold... #

0:05:52 > 0:05:55Cool, guys. That was nice. We've got it all.

0:05:56 > 0:05:58That was gold! Ha!

0:05:59 > 0:06:02- You can say that again.- Struggling to close the door!

0:06:03 > 0:06:07We are so excited because we are about to fly out to Amsterdam

0:06:07 > 0:06:09for VidCon Amsterdam.

0:06:09 > 0:06:11We've never done, like, a proper convention before.

0:06:11 > 0:06:15As far as I'm concerned, I don't think we've been to Amsterdam before

0:06:15 > 0:06:17- either...- No.- So that should be pretty exciting.

0:06:17 > 0:06:19So, all we gotta do is pack.

0:06:19 > 0:06:23Yeah. So, packing, and then... Then we fly.

0:06:23 > 0:06:26Then we fly over there. Fly like a bird flying.

0:06:27 > 0:06:29So, we can't wait.

0:06:29 > 0:06:32We be packing. Let's go.

0:06:34 > 0:06:36Hair products.

0:07:02 > 0:07:04Amsterdam was insane!

0:07:04 > 0:07:07It was, like, a very beautiful place.

0:07:07 > 0:07:09There was a lot to see there,

0:07:09 > 0:07:13and I got kind of scared because there's bikes everywhere.

0:07:13 > 0:07:15Like, cyclists are brutal in Amsterdam.

0:07:15 > 0:07:17They take no prisoners.

0:07:17 > 0:07:19I don't think they've learnt what bells are.

0:07:19 > 0:07:20They just shout. They go, "Oi!"

0:07:20 > 0:07:23when they come behind you, and you're like, "Argh!"

0:07:23 > 0:07:25There this was big...

0:07:25 > 0:07:29What do you call it? Like, not an amusement park but a smaller version

0:07:29 > 0:07:33in Dam Square, I think it's called. And that was really cool as well,

0:07:33 > 0:07:35and that set kind of a good impression of Amsterdam.

0:07:36 > 0:07:38We're here in Amsterdam, obviously...

0:07:38 > 0:07:42- Yeah.- And I think we're going to go on that ride up there.

0:07:42 > 0:07:45It looks pretty cool but pretty scary at the same time.

0:07:45 > 0:07:47This could go horribly wrong.

0:07:47 > 0:07:49Argh!

0:07:51 > 0:07:54Argh! Upside down!

0:07:55 > 0:07:57Oh, my God.

0:07:57 > 0:08:00- That was insane. - That was horrible!

0:08:04 > 0:08:06Yum.

0:08:16 > 0:08:17I don't really feel famous.

0:08:17 > 0:08:20I don't think we've kind of reached that point yet.

0:08:20 > 0:08:22I think we are well known to a certain age range.

0:08:22 > 0:08:25Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and all those kind of people,

0:08:25 > 0:08:28they're famous. Hopefully, we'll get there.

0:08:28 > 0:08:31I mean, that's a long shot, but we're growing and growing.

0:08:33 > 0:08:36I mean, can you believe we're playing at the VidCon, Amsterdam?

0:08:36 > 0:08:37No. It's going to be amazing.

0:08:37 > 0:08:39There's going to be so much cool stuff to do

0:08:39 > 0:08:41and so many cool people to meet.

0:08:41 > 0:08:43The actual stage, though, that's the thing.

0:08:43 > 0:08:45We've been invited to do the actual stage, the actual...

0:08:45 > 0:08:47The actual. I don't even...

0:08:47 > 0:08:50- Actual.- Actual.- Actual stage.

0:08:50 > 0:08:52Max, why don't we do another song here?

0:08:52 > 0:08:53We might as well just practise.

0:08:53 > 0:08:55I have got my guitar on me.

0:08:55 > 0:08:58Pretty handy. I mean, it's not like we've planned this or anything.

0:08:58 > 0:08:59Shhh!

0:09:02 > 0:09:04# Saw you sittin' there Very first day of school

0:09:04 > 0:09:07# Wanted to impress ya So I tried acting cool

0:09:07 > 0:09:09# Then I made myself look like a fool

0:09:09 > 0:09:11# Doesn't matter cos I'm in love with you

0:09:11 > 0:09:14# Whoa, with you Whoa! #

0:09:47 > 0:09:50We'd never done anything like that before.

0:09:50 > 0:09:54All of our shows were organised shows where it was basically

0:09:54 > 0:09:57just performing, whereas this was a whole social event

0:09:57 > 0:10:00where you did everything. There was, like,

0:10:00 > 0:10:03tonnes of different stalls and bouncy castles everywhere,

0:10:03 > 0:10:06and the big main stage at the back.

0:10:06 > 0:10:08We're just going to take some time now,

0:11:09 > 0:11:12We tried to get them in because they were so nice,

0:11:12 > 0:11:13but they got escorted out.

0:11:32 > 0:11:36We definitely try to look after our fans as much as we can,

0:11:36 > 0:11:40because they're, like, part of us.

0:11:40 > 0:11:42The tickets were completely sold out,

0:11:44 > 0:11:46that they made for us,

0:11:48 > 0:11:51because we felt so bad that they couldn't get in.

0:11:51 > 0:11:53But, yeah, it was quite nice to see that,

0:11:53 > 0:11:54even though they knew that they weren't

0:11:54 > 0:11:56going to get in and possibly

0:11:56 > 0:11:58even see us at all, they still kind of

0:11:58 > 0:11:59wanted to make the effort to see us

0:11:59 > 0:12:02at some point. That was really nice.

0:12:09 > 0:12:12Oh, yes! We're going to have so much fun!

0:12:58 > 0:13:01stuck to my phone a little bit. I guess maybe kind.

0:13:01 > 0:13:05I do like to help out a lot, even when people don't want me to help!

0:13:05 > 0:13:09My mum would probably describe me as the more mature one, definitely,

0:13:09 > 0:13:11of the both of us. I don't know.

0:13:11 > 0:13:14She'd probably describe me annoying as well, yeah.

0:15:36 > 0:15:39You can't shout and be silly during the day,

0:15:39 > 0:15:42and expect to sing a note. OK?

0:15:42 > 0:15:43Just this once.

0:15:43 > 0:15:45- Sorry.- It just doesn't...

0:15:45 > 0:15:48- You know?- Yeah... - And you don't learn.

0:15:48 > 0:15:50I saw that he was losing his voice.

0:15:50 > 0:15:53I let him... I was like, right, do the first song,

0:15:53 > 0:15:55if he's really bad by the end of it,

0:15:55 > 0:15:57I will do his bits.

0:15:57 > 0:15:59So, I mean, I tried my best.

0:15:59 > 0:16:01It might not have sounded great.

0:16:01 > 0:16:04Yeah, my dad is just shaking his head right now in the other room.

0:16:04 > 0:16:08I have never, never sung One More Day In Love high,

0:16:08 > 0:16:11and it is incredibly hard, especially, I think, for me.

0:16:11 > 0:16:15I was like this... Like, trying to get it out.

0:16:15 > 0:16:16So, then we went to the after show party,

0:16:16 > 0:16:18and that was pretty cool other than the fact

0:16:18 > 0:16:22that I wasn't allowed to talk at all. But it was really nice,

0:16:22 > 0:16:25because it was kind of all of our friends that we actually knew from

0:16:25 > 0:16:29kind of social media and stuff, all there at a big party.

0:16:31 > 0:16:36MUSIC: Classic by MKTO

0:16:46 > 0:16:49My Macarena skills are flawless, I admit.

0:16:49 > 0:16:52So, we decided to teach it to all of them.

0:16:52 > 0:16:54And they picked it up pretty quickly,

0:16:54 > 0:16:56because a lot of them there were dancers,

0:16:56 > 0:17:00and then it just turned into this massive group thing of everyone

0:17:00 > 0:17:02that was there just doing the Macarena.

0:17:13 > 0:17:15So what's it been like meeting all your fans at VidCon?

0:17:15 > 0:17:20It was so cool because it makes us happy to meet the people

0:17:20 > 0:17:24that follow you and support you, and then you can chat with them,

0:17:24 > 0:17:26- and it's so cool. It's like... - We thought you were taller!

0:17:26 > 0:17:30- Taller, yeah.- Yeah. Yeah, we are small.- Yes, we're quite small.

0:17:30 > 0:17:33But the most people are saying to us, "Oh, you're really tall..."

0:17:33 > 0:17:34You're really small, yeah.

0:17:34 > 0:17:36When we interviewed Lisa and Lena,

0:17:36 > 0:17:38it was really interesting because

0:17:38 > 0:17:41we'd never actually properly met them before, and they were so nice.

0:17:41 > 0:17:43It was really nice to kind of meet and talk to them.

0:17:43 > 0:17:47They explained to us how they started

0:17:47 > 0:17:50and what they did on social media

0:17:50 > 0:17:52to make them grow.

0:17:52 > 0:17:54A, they turned the phone a different way.

0:17:54 > 0:17:56So, no-one really did that.

0:17:56 > 0:17:59It sounds stupid, but it made a big impact,

0:17:59 > 0:18:04because no-one really ever filmed with the phone sideways.

0:18:04 > 0:18:06I think they've got, like, I don't know,

0:18:06 > 0:18:0920 million on certain socials,

0:18:09 > 0:18:11and all those kind of things.

0:18:12 > 0:18:15Our weekend in Amsterdam has been amazing.

0:18:15 > 0:18:17We've never been before. It's such an amazing city.

0:18:17 > 0:18:21So much to do. This VidCon was insane.

0:18:21 > 0:18:25And we've had such a great time with our new friends that we've made,

0:18:25 > 0:18:27and our fans just made it even better

0:18:27 > 0:18:29by supporting us the whole time.

0:18:29 > 0:18:31I just loved it completely.

0:18:31 > 0:18:34I mean, it was one of the best things I think we've done yet,

0:18:34 > 0:18:35especially this year,

0:18:35 > 0:18:37and I just can't wait for what's up next, because,

0:18:37 > 0:18:40if it's anything better than this then that's just amazing,

0:18:40 > 0:18:43because this was so much fun.

0:19:00 > 0:19:05So, then we went to Manchester, and we had a gig up there and, yeah,

0:19:05 > 0:19:08we went to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital before,

0:19:08 > 0:19:10and we wrote a song for them.

0:19:10 > 0:19:12We then went to a school, which was really cool,

0:19:12 > 0:19:16because it was interesting to see what reaction we would get from the

0:19:16 > 0:19:19kids, and they were all just like, "Yeah, yeah, they're really cool."

0:19:22 > 0:19:25We cannot wait to cheer up some of the kids and make their days

0:19:25 > 0:19:27hopefully a little bit better and, yeah,

0:19:27 > 0:19:30just kind of meet all of them and listen to their stories.

0:19:30 > 0:19:33- And, yeah, we cannot wait.- Whoo!

0:19:38 > 0:19:42# It can happen in a moment Everything can change

0:19:42 > 0:19:46# All the things you knew Can suddenly rearrange

0:19:46 > 0:19:50# Find a new horizon Something different than before

0:19:50 > 0:19:54# Look further than you thought you could and you will find an open door

0:19:54 > 0:19:57# Music makes the world sound better It can brighten up your day

0:19:57 > 0:20:00# Music makes the world seem brighter

0:20:00 > 0:20:01# It can help in many ways

0:20:01 > 0:20:03Can you do this?

0:20:03 > 0:20:05Can you do that one?

0:20:05 > 0:20:07# Be seen in green

0:20:07 > 0:20:10# Yeah, yeah Be seen in green

0:20:10 > 0:20:13# Yeah, yeah Be seen in green

0:20:13 > 0:20:16# Show the world you care. #

0:20:16 > 0:20:20- Wow, you have got lots of unicorns. - Oh, I got Sparkles myself.

0:20:20 > 0:20:23- You got Sparkles.- Good choice. - I just fell in love with her.

0:20:24 > 0:20:26Oh, there you go, there's one left.

0:20:26 > 0:20:29- Take that. Is that your card?- Yep.

0:20:29 > 0:20:32I like your make-up. I wish I had some.

0:20:32 > 0:20:35Three, two, one.

0:20:36 > 0:20:39Are you taller than me?

0:20:39 > 0:20:40Wow!

0:20:40 > 0:20:44# Music makes the world sound better It can brighten up your day

0:21:42 > 0:21:44I am very good at giving advice.

0:21:44 > 0:21:46I am very good at listening.

0:21:46 > 0:21:51Best quality, I guess, would be helping out a lot,

0:21:51 > 0:21:53I just like to kind of get involved in whatever I can,

0:21:53 > 0:21:55just help out wherever, yeah.

0:21:55 > 0:21:57My worst quality?

0:21:57 > 0:22:01I've got so much better, I used to be quite a bad loser.

0:22:01 > 0:22:03I tend to be on my phone a bit too much, probably.

0:22:03 > 0:22:04I should probably let people

0:22:04 > 0:22:07finish their sentence before I start talking.

0:22:07 > 0:22:09I am quite bad for that, yeah.

0:22:17 > 0:22:18CHEERING

0:22:49 > 0:22:52They're just like really funny and like so, like, down to earth

0:22:52 > 0:22:54compared to most people who are famous.

0:22:54 > 0:22:57They're just generally idols of mine, basically.

0:23:04 > 0:23:08The Manchester Hilton performance was a very emotional performance

0:23:08 > 0:23:13actually, because the majority of it was to do with

0:23:13 > 0:23:16the Manchester Children's Hospital and

0:23:16 > 0:23:20quite a few of the people from the hospital came to see our show

0:23:20 > 0:23:23and we, there was one song that we did in the show called Fight Song

0:23:23 > 0:23:27and we dedicated it to one of the girls from the hospital

0:23:27 > 0:23:30who sadly wasn't there because she had passed away

0:23:30 > 0:23:32by the time that we did the show.

0:23:32 > 0:23:37She was just the nicest person ever and she was so sweet and even when,

0:23:37 > 0:23:40because we were going round kind of singing for them,

0:23:40 > 0:23:42just kind of adding a little bit of happiness

0:23:42 > 0:23:44into the world or something

0:23:44 > 0:23:46like that, I don't know, something cheesy like that,

0:23:46 > 0:23:48and she started singing along with us

0:23:48 > 0:23:50so we kind of sung that song there,

0:23:50 > 0:23:53the same song that we sung with her in the hospital,

0:23:53 > 0:23:55to kind of remember her and kind of say, you know,

0:23:55 > 0:24:00"Don't stop fighting," to all those people out there who, you know...

0:24:00 > 0:24:04Keep fighting through whatever is going wrong in life, basically.

0:24:04 > 0:24:07So, a couple of months ago now I think it was,

0:24:07 > 0:24:11we visited the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

0:24:11 > 0:24:13and it was so nice to meet everyone

0:24:13 > 0:24:15and see what it was really like in there,

0:24:15 > 0:24:19and the amount of people that were just, like, so high-spirited

0:24:19 > 0:24:20and just like so happy,

0:24:20 > 0:24:23even though their circumstances... It was incredible.

0:24:23 > 0:24:25And obviously we have Charlotte and Maisie in with us today

0:24:25 > 0:24:28and all their parents and family and friends and stuff,

0:24:28 > 0:24:31so thank you guys for coming in today.

0:24:31 > 0:24:33We really appreciate you guys coming here.

0:24:33 > 0:24:35When we visited the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital,

0:24:35 > 0:24:39we visited a girl called Gracie and we sang a song with her

0:24:39 > 0:24:42which was Fight Song, which is the next song that we are going to do

0:24:42 > 0:24:47but, unfortunately, really sadly, Gracie didn't make it.

0:24:47 > 0:24:50Erm... Ah...

0:24:52 > 0:24:55I'm trying to speak now.

0:24:55 > 0:24:58This is dedicated to Gracie, she was such a high-spirited girl

0:24:58 > 0:25:00and this is for her.

0:25:02 > 0:25:06# Like a small boat on the ocean

0:25:07 > 0:25:09# Sending big waves in a motion

0:25:11 > 0:25:16# Like how a single word can make a heart open

0:25:16 > 0:25:22# I might only have one match But I can make an explosion

0:25:22 > 0:25:24# And all those things I didn't say

0:25:24 > 0:25:27# Wrecking balls inside my brain

0:25:27 > 0:25:29# I will scream them aloud tonight

0:25:29 > 0:25:32# Can you hear my voice this time?

0:25:32 > 0:25:36# This is my fight song Take back my life song

0:25:36 > 0:25:40# Prove I'm all right song

0:25:41 > 0:25:45# My power's turned up Starting right now I'll be strong

0:25:45 > 0:25:48# I'll play my fight song

0:25:48 > 0:25:53# And I don't really care if nobody else believes

0:25:53 > 0:25:57# Cos I've still got a lot of fight left in me. #

0:25:57 > 0:26:00- CHEERING AND APPLAUSE - Thank you, guys.
