0:03:24 > 0:03:28Ponies have been living in the New Forest for hundreds of years,

0:03:28 > 0:03:32and there are around 3,000 roaming freely today.

0:03:34 > 0:03:38A New Forest pony is known to be fast, strong,

0:03:38 > 0:03:40friendly and intelligent.

0:03:44 > 0:03:49They also come in lots of different colours, like bay...

0:03:49 > 0:03:52chestnut and grey.

0:04:00 > 0:04:02Having any pet, no matter what it is,

0:04:02 > 0:04:06means you have to give it a lot of love, care and attention.
