0:40:06 > 0:40:09and is determined to get some more time with his dancers

0:40:09 > 0:40:12- before today's dress rehearsal. - It's hard at the top.

0:40:12 > 0:40:18Trouble is, the only free space is outside in the rain.

0:40:18 > 0:40:20Let's go through it slowly. The first bit you're going

0:40:20 > 0:40:26one, bob, tat, tat, hand, bob, bob, drop.

0:41:21 > 0:41:23and working towards for months so I can't wait.

0:41:25 > 0:41:28The practice run gets under way.

0:41:30 > 0:41:35Tonight's show will be crammed with jaw-dropping routines

0:41:35 > 0:41:39but none are more ambitious than the opening aerial number,

0:41:39 > 0:41:43where dancers will perform complex acrobatic moves

0:41:43 > 0:41:46in hoops suspended from the theatre's rafters.

0:41:46 > 0:41:50Marni was one of the seven girls competing to be in the routine.

0:41:50 > 0:41:53She pushed herself to the limit to get the part.

0:41:53 > 0:41:56You will really kick yourselves if you give up.

0:41:56 > 0:41:59You are either a fighter or you are not.

0:41:59 > 0:42:01I just want this role so bad.

0:42:01 > 0:42:04I'd really love to go out there and show everyone what I can do.

0:42:04 > 0:42:09Marni's hard work paid off. She's not only in the routine,

0:42:09 > 0:42:13she's been given the central hoop - where all eyes will be on her.

0:42:13 > 0:42:16The cast has been chosen and I did get in, so I'm really happy.

0:42:18 > 0:42:21It's the biggest audience I've ever performed to before

0:42:21 > 0:42:24and there's going to be a lot of celebrities there.

0:42:24 > 0:42:25As well as my family.

0:42:25 > 0:42:28We're the opening to the whole show and, when the curtain goes up,

0:42:28 > 0:42:32my stomach's probably going to be in knots and I'll be going he-he-he!

0:42:35 > 0:42:39Eloise and Will are the last to practise on stage.

0:42:39 > 0:42:41Their Memphis routine will be the gala finale

0:42:41 > 0:42:45so it's crucial that everyone gets it right.

0:42:45 > 0:42:49But it's not just a tough routine for the two leads.

0:42:49 > 0:42:52Backing dancer Billie, who will take centre stage for part of the number,

0:42:52 > 0:42:54is feeling the pressure.

0:42:54 > 0:42:57It's good to be nervous cos it shows you care.

0:42:57 > 0:43:00The routine has complicated dance moves

0:43:00 > 0:43:03performed with difficult vocals. When the rehearsal's finished,

0:43:03 > 0:43:05it seems director Hallie isn't happy.

0:43:05 > 0:43:08Can we have Memphis over there?

0:43:08 > 0:43:10The cast is handed over to top choreographers

0:43:10 > 0:43:13Richard and Rachel for a pep talk.

0:43:13 > 0:43:17It just is like a huge, huge train wreck.

0:43:17 > 0:43:19When you hit that bit of choreography,

0:43:19 > 0:43:22I just want to get up and walk out.

0:43:23 > 0:43:25Guys, you're noticed up in the dress circle

0:43:25 > 0:43:28for absolutely the minute-est thing.

0:43:28 > 0:43:32You think you're not but you are. You'll be scrutinised.

0:43:32 > 0:43:33Will, eye-lines, Do You Rock And Roll.

0:43:33 > 0:43:35It's very moody when you walk forward.

0:43:35 > 0:43:39We've had our little chat, now lift it up and tell the story to the back.

0:43:39 > 0:43:41Will and Eloise coming in.

0:43:41 > 0:43:44Make sure you play to each other - she was dying up there.

0:43:44 > 0:43:48I've seen it done loads of times before. I know you can do it.

0:43:48 > 0:43:53Chins up, chests out, smile and just mean it.

0:43:53 > 0:43:57For your own sakes - not for ours, for yours.

0:43:57 > 0:44:02It's tough criticism and lead dancer Billie is taking it very personally.

0:44:02 > 0:44:08I missed the turn on that bit. One, two, three, four, five, six...

0:44:08 > 0:44:11I really care about this and I really want this work

0:44:11 > 0:44:13so of course I'm nervous cos I want to do well.

0:44:13 > 0:44:15I can tell you're worrying.

0:44:15 > 0:44:18I just like to get things right all the time.

0:44:18 > 0:44:22It has to be perfect all the time. I get really stressed.

0:44:22 > 0:44:25- You're human, it was a dress run. It's fine.- Yeah.

0:44:25 > 0:44:27When else do you make mistakes, Billie? Never.

0:44:27 > 0:44:31- No, I never make mistakes. - Yeah, exactly, so, one little thing.

0:44:31 > 0:44:33Don't worry. You're only human.

0:44:37 > 0:44:42Right now for the whole Memphis cast, things are looking bleak.

0:44:42 > 0:44:44But their time has run out.

0:44:44 > 0:44:47It's not just the cast who are nervous.

0:44:47 > 0:44:51For Head Of Musical Theatre Karen it's a big night too.

0:44:51 > 0:44:55We really want this to be a show to remember. It's a celebration.

0:45:05 > 0:45:07You name it, they're here.

0:45:11 > 0:45:14After all the pain and hard work of rehearsals,

0:45:14 > 0:45:16finally it's show time.
