0:00:45 > 0:00:47Go and get a note from Mr Vote,

0:00:47 > 0:00:50because that is not acceptable for ballet.

0:00:50 > 0:00:52But now things are about to get even worse.

0:00:52 > 0:00:55I love this school to pieces. It is so good.

0:00:56 > 0:00:58Competition is tough as the juniors battle it out

0:00:58 > 0:01:01to perform at a top football ground.

0:01:01 > 0:01:05But for one young dancer, things don't go quite as she planned.

0:01:05 > 0:01:10I'm going to have to find someone else to replace you for Saturday.

0:01:10 > 0:01:13And Year 7's Tommy says goodbye to his West End role,

0:01:13 > 0:01:15and sets his sights on his next lead.

0:01:15 > 0:01:18HE SINGS

0:01:22 > 0:01:25It's a big day of auditions for the junior pupils

0:01:25 > 0:01:26at the School For Stars

0:01:26 > 0:01:28and there's an extra buzz in the air

0:01:28 > 0:01:31as a prestigious choreographer and ex-star pupil

0:01:31 > 0:01:34returns to do the auditioning.

0:01:34 > 0:01:37We are here today auditioning for a performance

0:01:37 > 0:01:40that we're going to do at a half-time of a football match.

0:01:40 > 0:01:42So there's going to be loads of people there watching us

0:01:42 > 0:01:45so if we get one little thing wrong everyone will be like,

0:01:45 > 0:01:48"Oh, she did that wrong", so we have to get it amazingly right.

0:01:48 > 0:01:50Professional choreographer and dancer Hayley

0:01:50 > 0:01:53has had worldwide success choreographing stadium tours

0:01:53 > 0:01:58for Take That and appearing in a variety of West End shows.

0:01:58 > 0:02:00I'm coming back to school

0:02:00 > 0:02:05because I am choreographing an event in Reading called The Big Match.

0:02:05 > 0:02:08I don't really know what to expect. I'm quite scared.

0:02:08 > 0:02:10As they should be.

0:02:10 > 0:02:13She's really intimidating because you want her to really like you

0:02:13 > 0:02:16because she's a massive inspiration of mine.

0:02:16 > 0:02:17She's an amazing dancer

0:02:17 > 0:02:21and she performs in so many West End shows and commercials.

0:02:21 > 0:02:24Today in the audition, I'm going to be looking for a lot of energy

0:02:24 > 0:02:27and it's not important to have the choreography exactly today

0:02:27 > 0:02:29cos we're going to practise it some more,

0:02:29 > 0:02:32but, you know, I'm looking for people who can pick up choreography.

0:02:32 > 0:02:36Hayley has to pick 25 of us and there's 18 in Year 9

0:02:36 > 0:02:40and 24 in Year 10 so she's got a hard choice.

0:02:40 > 0:02:43Right, listen, listen, listen, scoot back, spread out.

0:02:43 > 0:02:44We're going to practise for 20 minutes

0:02:44 > 0:02:47and then Hayley's going to come in and watch you all

0:02:47 > 0:02:48and pick who she wants.

0:02:48 > 0:02:52For The Big Match dance event, Hayley's right-hand woman Lucy

0:02:52 > 0:02:55has been putting the juniors through their paces,

0:02:55 > 0:02:58readying them for the audition and the star choreographer's arrival.

0:03:03 > 0:03:06Let's rewind. There's loads of little bits that you're missing.

0:03:06 > 0:03:11This is feet apart. It's slow time. One, two, three, four.

0:03:11 > 0:03:14It's not this. We're not doing the Highland Fling, yeah?

0:03:14 > 0:03:16March. This is big arms. Don't get lazy.

0:03:16 > 0:03:19Look, look, drop, roll and hit, throw.

0:03:19 > 0:03:21This is where we go a little bit wrong.

0:03:21 > 0:03:23Hands, yeah, watch your hands.

0:03:23 > 0:03:26Five, six, seven, jump, eight.

0:03:26 > 0:03:27- What do you jump on Alice? - Eight.

0:03:27 > 0:03:30OK, let's do it again for Alice. Ready, from here.

0:03:30 > 0:03:35First one goes "satisfy me", head, head, ball change.

0:03:35 > 0:03:38Eight, one, "satisfy me". Do we understand the difference?

0:03:38 > 0:03:40Are you sure?

0:03:40 > 0:03:41Step, step, what leg to we walk on?

0:03:41 > 0:03:43- ALL:- Left.

0:03:43 > 0:03:46Yeah, so, if you used your right it's the other left leg, yeah?

0:03:46 > 0:03:48The moment has come as the much-feared

0:03:48 > 0:03:52but much-loved Hayley arrives to pick the best dancers.

0:03:52 > 0:03:55Hello, how are you?

0:03:55 > 0:03:56- ALL:- Good.

0:03:56 > 0:03:58Good, I'm very excited to see you all do this.

0:03:58 > 0:04:01Lucy, do you want to put them in groups and kind of mix everyone up?

0:04:01 > 0:04:02Yep, sure.

0:04:02 > 0:04:06As well as 25 dancers chosen from the main school,

0:04:06 > 0:04:08around 30 will be chosen from associate schools,

0:04:08 > 0:04:12where pupils outside London study performing arts part-time.

0:04:14 > 0:04:17OK, so come forward. Are we ready?

0:04:17 > 0:04:20Let's go.

0:04:20 > 0:04:24The 40 juniors have one chance to prove their worth.

0:04:24 > 0:04:25It's now or never.

0:04:25 > 0:04:27MUSIC: "Shut Up" by Amelia Lily

0:04:46 > 0:04:47OK, thank you very much.

0:04:47 > 0:04:50The list will be going up very soon. OK, bye.

0:04:50 > 0:04:51- ALL:- Thank you.

0:04:52 > 0:04:56It went all right but the couple of bits that I messed up on

0:04:56 > 0:04:59I wasn't very happy with because I knew I could do better.

0:04:59 > 0:05:02The sad thing about it is, you know, there was...

0:05:02 > 0:05:04SHE COUNTS UP

0:05:04 > 0:05:07..about 35 to 40 people auditioned and we need 25.

0:05:07 > 0:05:10So that's not cutting that many. That's quite sad.

0:05:10 > 0:05:12Georgia, Amy.

0:05:12 > 0:05:13Amber.

0:05:13 > 0:05:18Hayley is now in there writing a list of who she wants,

0:05:18 > 0:05:20and that's really scary.

0:05:20 > 0:05:22Really scary.

0:05:22 > 0:05:24I'm really excited cos I want to see who got in.

0:05:24 > 0:05:26Done.

0:05:31 > 0:05:34Armed with the list of names and the headmaster's seal of approval,

0:05:34 > 0:05:36it's time for Lucy to reveal

0:05:36 > 0:05:38who's made the cast for The Big Match dance.

0:05:44 > 0:05:45Yay, that's mine!

0:05:45 > 0:05:46Oh, I'm in it.

0:05:48 > 0:05:49Both there.

0:05:49 > 0:05:50Yes, you go girl!

0:05:52 > 0:05:57The best part about this is everyone on the list is my friends,

0:05:57 > 0:05:59so I'm doing it with everyone and all my friends.

0:05:59 > 0:06:01It'll be so fun because a lot of the people live near me,

0:06:01 > 0:06:04so I can travel up with them and then go home with them

0:06:04 > 0:06:05and we can just talk about how great it was

0:06:05 > 0:06:07to perform at a football pitch.

0:06:07 > 0:06:10With only 25 dancers needed out of 40 hopefuls,

0:06:10 > 0:06:15the reality of auditions means not everyone gets good news.

0:06:15 > 0:06:16- Excited?- You all right?

0:06:16 > 0:06:18Yeah, I'm totally fine about it.

0:06:19 > 0:06:21Singing's more my thing.

0:06:25 > 0:06:28The school only takes the very best.

0:06:28 > 0:06:31Those who are selected to attend have shown their potential

0:06:31 > 0:06:34for success, but their families also have to pay fees.

0:06:36 > 0:06:39A few scholarships are available meaning some pupils' fees get paid,

0:06:39 > 0:06:43but for the rest of the students, being able to cover the costs

0:06:43 > 0:06:47each year can be tough and as a result, some of them have to leave.

0:06:59 > 0:07:02Year 9 pupil Niki lives 65 miles from London

0:07:02 > 0:07:06and every day she travels four hours to and from school.

0:07:06 > 0:07:08But soon that long journey will be a thing of the past

0:07:08 > 0:07:11with the recent news that she'll be leaving the school

0:07:11 > 0:07:13in just a few weeks.

0:07:13 > 0:07:15And it's something her and her family

0:07:15 > 0:07:17are slowly coming to terms with.

0:07:17 > 0:07:19We did sit down and we did talk about it

0:07:19 > 0:07:23and I said to Niki that we've really reached the end now.

0:07:23 > 0:07:26I was going to consider taking a bank loan out

0:07:26 > 0:07:29to pay the next year's school fees, but she didn't want me to do that,

0:07:29 > 0:07:34so we came to that conclusion and we agreed to that.

0:07:34 > 0:07:38But it's a worry because we're moving her at a difficult time

0:07:38 > 0:07:40and a difficult year, I think.

0:07:40 > 0:07:43I feel that I don't want to you struggle with the school fees

0:07:43 > 0:07:50cos you've made me do all this for 14... 13-14 years

0:07:50 > 0:07:54and you need to have a break for yourself.

0:07:54 > 0:07:57Cos everything about your life has always been about me

0:07:57 > 0:07:59and you need to just think about you for a change.

0:07:59 > 0:08:01Glad you appreciate it.

0:08:03 > 0:08:04It is always about you,

0:08:04 > 0:08:06but it will always be about you no matter where you go.

0:08:06 > 0:08:09It's still going to be about you and what you want to do.

0:08:09 > 0:08:11Just because you're not going to be at that school,

0:08:11 > 0:08:15which is unfortunate, but we'll still aim to try and get you

0:08:15 > 0:08:17- to do whatever you want to do.- Yeah.

0:08:24 > 0:08:27It's the travelling as well. It's everything on top of it.

0:08:27 > 0:08:29And it's too much for her.

0:08:29 > 0:08:31Some nights she gets back at seven,

0:08:31 > 0:08:34then she goes to another theatre group in Brighton,

0:08:34 > 0:08:35so she doesn't get home till ten o'clock

0:08:35 > 0:08:38and her day's begun at five-thirty in the morning.

0:08:38 > 0:08:41For Niki, leaving the school, it was a very hard decision.

0:08:41 > 0:08:44Something that wasn't taken lightly. And it was very sad.

0:08:44 > 0:08:48Very disappointed and very disheartened.

0:08:48 > 0:08:49You feel that you've failed her.

0:08:55 > 0:08:57In school the hot topic of conversation

0:08:57 > 0:09:00is about every performing art student's worst nightmare.

0:09:07 > 0:09:08- Have you seen Jade's leg? - Yeah.

0:09:08 > 0:09:12She was on the trampoline at Natalia's party.

0:09:12 > 0:09:15She told me it hurt at the time. It didn't seem too bad

0:09:15 > 0:09:18but then she came in to school and she had this cast on her leg

0:09:18 > 0:09:19and it's obviously a lot more serious

0:09:19 > 0:09:21than what she made it out to be.

0:09:21 > 0:09:24You know, there's quite a few things that she might miss, actually.

0:09:24 > 0:09:27She's going to miss that thing, the football thing as well isn't she?

0:09:27 > 0:09:29- Oh, did she get picked for that? - Yeah.

0:09:29 > 0:09:33But hopefully it's bruised or something. I don't know.

0:09:33 > 0:09:36- Jade, where are you, dear? Can you come over here, please?- Yeah.

0:09:36 > 0:09:38- Hello, hop-along.- Hello.

0:09:38 > 0:09:41- In a nutshell..- Yep. - ..what have you done to yourself?

0:09:41 > 0:09:42They don't know,

0:09:42 > 0:09:46because when I had an X-ray it was too inflamed for them to see.

0:09:46 > 0:09:48But I don't think it's anything really serious

0:09:48 > 0:09:52because my foot feels better and my ankle feels much better.

0:09:52 > 0:09:56They think out of anything it might be like a hairline fracture

0:09:56 > 0:09:59or a fracture at most, but I don't even think it's that.

0:09:59 > 0:10:01So how did you do it? What were you doing?

0:10:01 > 0:10:04I was on a trampoline, I went over on my ankle.

0:10:04 > 0:10:07Oh, dear me, I thought dancing was dangerous.

0:10:07 > 0:10:09What do you think it's going to do for Saturday?

0:10:09 > 0:10:11I want to do it.

0:10:11 > 0:10:14So I'm going to try and make sure that it's OK

0:10:14 > 0:10:16and then get this off.

0:10:16 > 0:10:18- Well, if you haven't fractured it it might be possible.- Yep.

0:10:18 > 0:10:21OK, we'll keep our fingers firmly crossed for you.

0:10:21 > 0:10:23- Yeah, we will. Thank you. - Thank you, darling.

0:10:26 > 0:10:29With The Big Match dance only one day away,

0:10:29 > 0:10:31as a key member of the performance,

0:10:31 > 0:10:34Jade's first task is to break the bad news to teacher Lucy.

0:10:35 > 0:10:37Jade...

0:10:38 > 0:10:40What have you done?

0:10:40 > 0:10:41Ben double-bounced me and I did a Fame jump,

0:10:41 > 0:10:45hit my head with my leg, came over and went over on it.

0:10:45 > 0:10:47So what are you going to do about Saturday?

0:10:47 > 0:10:49Obviously, you can't do it.

0:10:49 > 0:10:51I really want to do it, you don't understand.

0:10:51 > 0:10:53You can't, though.

0:10:53 > 0:10:55I know I can't, I actually can't.

0:10:55 > 0:10:57I'm going to have to find someone else

0:10:57 > 0:11:00to replace you for Saturday, I think.

0:11:00 > 0:11:04I'll have to go back to the list that we had originally.

0:11:04 > 0:11:06- Oh, you've ruined everything, Jade. - I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

0:11:06 > 0:11:07No, it's fine.

0:11:07 > 0:11:12It is a little bit annoying, because they're old enough to think

0:11:12 > 0:11:15"I need to be sensible, I've got a job coming up."

0:11:15 > 0:11:17Jade is one of the, you know, strong ones.

0:11:17 > 0:11:20You went through the whole audition process, she got picked.

0:11:20 > 0:11:22So now it's sort of...

0:11:22 > 0:11:24Now she's out I've got to find someone else

0:11:24 > 0:11:28and it's, sort of... She could have done it next week, not now.

0:11:28 > 0:11:31But I guess there's nothing you can do about it.

0:11:33 > 0:11:35PHONE RINGS

0:11:38 > 0:11:39Hello?

0:11:39 > 0:11:41Hi, Hayley. It's Lucy.

0:11:41 > 0:11:43- Hi, Lucy, how are you? - I'm good, thank you.

0:11:43 > 0:11:46I have a little bit of bad news about tomorrow.

0:11:46 > 0:11:49OK. That's not what I want to hear but all right.

0:11:49 > 0:11:52Hayley and Lucy come up with a plan and Lucy heads to find

0:11:52 > 0:11:56the lucky replacement with the good news, proving that sometimes

0:11:56 > 0:12:00one person's misfortune can be another's opportunity.

0:12:00 > 0:12:02Can I just borrow Alice for two minutes?

0:12:06 > 0:12:07- Hello.- How are you?

0:12:07 > 0:12:09- I'm good, how are you? - Good, thanks.

0:12:11 > 0:12:13So, have you heard about Jade?

0:12:13 > 0:12:14Yeah, she's hurt her leg.

0:12:14 > 0:12:16Well, she thinks it's broken, she's not sure.

0:12:16 > 0:12:19So I've spoken to Hayley this morning

0:12:19 > 0:12:23- and me and her have decided, if you're free tomorrow...- Yeah.

0:12:23 > 0:12:24..would you like to do The Big Match?

0:12:24 > 0:12:25- Yes, please.- Yeah?

0:12:25 > 0:12:28So you need to come to rehearsals with me this afternoon,

0:12:28 > 0:12:31- and you won't be as nervous, will you?- No.

0:12:31 > 0:12:33So one o'clock for rehearsals.

0:12:33 > 0:12:34Thank you so much.

0:12:34 > 0:12:36- No worries.- Thank you.

0:12:37 > 0:12:38See you later. Bye.

0:12:40 > 0:12:42- Did you get in? - Yeah, I'm in it!

0:12:42 > 0:12:44Alice has a lot of hard work ahead of her,

0:12:44 > 0:12:46but just have to crack on this afternoon.

0:12:48 > 0:12:50Over in another corner of the school,

0:12:50 > 0:12:53Niki's day isn't going so well as everything

0:12:53 > 0:12:56is a painful reminder of what she'll be missing when she has to leave.

0:12:56 > 0:12:58Why are you leaving, though?

0:12:58 > 0:13:00I can't afford it any more.

0:13:00 > 0:13:02It's really upsetting because, my mum said

0:13:02 > 0:13:04"We can't afford it any more."

0:13:04 > 0:13:07I was, like, shocked.

0:13:07 > 0:13:12I love this school to pieces. It's so good and academic and everything

0:13:12 > 0:13:14and the dancing here is so good

0:13:14 > 0:13:17and, like, the people are lovely.

0:13:17 > 0:13:19Well, I'll miss it loads.

0:13:19 > 0:13:22It's going to be really different, going to a normal school.

0:13:22 > 0:13:25Come here. And I'm here for you all the time, all right?

0:13:25 > 0:13:27If you want to talk about anything, you're there for me

0:13:27 > 0:13:29so I'll be there for you, OK?

0:13:29 > 0:13:33I'll just miss the school especially, because it's helped me achieve

0:13:33 > 0:13:36the best that I can be and, like, friends are always there

0:13:36 > 0:13:38to get your back when you're upset

0:13:38 > 0:13:41and they've just been there for me all the time,

0:13:41 > 0:13:44and I will miss it, a lot.

0:13:44 > 0:13:46- Thank you.- That's all right. Come on, let's go get some chips.

0:13:49 > 0:13:50OK. Pick me up!

0:13:53 > 0:13:56As Jade's replacement dancer at The Big Match,

0:13:56 > 0:14:00Alice has a matter of hours to try and learn the full routine.

0:14:00 > 0:14:02Alice.

0:14:02 > 0:14:05- Because, obviously, everyone already knows it...- Yeah.

0:14:05 > 0:14:07..we're going to have to work really hard today.

0:14:07 > 0:14:09Concentrate and make sure that you pick everything up

0:14:09 > 0:14:10that they already know.

0:14:10 > 0:14:13- I went through it with Hannah and... - Amazing.

0:14:13 > 0:14:15Anything that I say, "Alice, this is wrong",

0:14:15 > 0:14:17- you've really got to switch on and just do it, yeah?- Yep.

0:14:17 > 0:14:19- Cool.- Thank you.

0:14:19 > 0:14:21The pressure is well and truly on.

0:14:23 > 0:14:26So when we turn around are our hands, like, always there

0:14:26 > 0:14:28- when we turn around?- Here.

0:14:28 > 0:14:32So everything's got a name, so the first reach up is the fast one,

0:14:32 > 0:14:35- because you drop down and then you reach straight up.- Yep.

0:14:35 > 0:14:38Then you go hit, hit, then you turn, five, six, seven, drop, eight.

0:14:38 > 0:14:39Oh, OK.

0:14:39 > 0:14:42One, two, three, four. Yeah, make sense?

0:14:42 > 0:14:43- The second one's the faster one.- OK.

0:14:47 > 0:14:52I'm not 100 percent sure Alice will nail it tomorrow, yet.

0:14:52 > 0:14:54It's just the La Bamba section.

0:14:54 > 0:14:57She just forgets her arms or she'll be a count behind everyone

0:14:57 > 0:15:00because it's not quite in there yet of what comes next.

0:15:00 > 0:15:03And that's all really that she needs to keep practising tonight

0:15:03 > 0:15:05until tomorrow to be able to make sure she's right.

0:15:05 > 0:15:08- Alice, it's not bad, it's just La Bamba that's not very good.- OK.

0:15:08 > 0:15:10Yeah, again like that up to there?

0:15:10 > 0:15:11Yeah?

0:15:11 > 0:15:16Alice has to get it right because it's in front of 2,000 people,

0:15:16 > 0:15:18it's on a massive pitch, open so everyone can see everyone.

0:15:18 > 0:15:20She's got to step up and live up to that

0:15:20 > 0:15:24"OK, we picked you because you can do it. Now do it".

0:15:24 > 0:15:27I'm going to work so hard. I'm going to be the best.

0:15:29 > 0:15:32Alice has to put in a lot of work to nail that routine by morning,

0:15:32 > 0:15:36but for Tommy, his hours of practice will soon be a thing of the past.

0:15:36 > 0:15:38I'm heading off to the last night of Singin' In The Rain

0:15:38 > 0:15:42and I'm really excited because it's going to be my last night,

0:15:42 > 0:15:44and I'm also really scared because I'm going to miss all

0:15:44 > 0:15:48the members of the class and I don't know if I might cry.

0:15:48 > 0:15:50His run in a West End show is nearly over

0:15:50 > 0:15:54and he's about to step onto that stage for one last tap dance.

0:15:54 > 0:15:57Accompanied by his dad, Tommy heads to the stage door

0:15:57 > 0:16:00but even before he's finished one star role,

0:16:00 > 0:16:02he's already got his sights on another.

0:16:02 > 0:16:07- Last night tonight. Ah! - So you're excited?- Yep.

0:16:07 > 0:16:09It's going to be quite memorable

0:16:09 > 0:16:12because it's like my first ever West End,

0:16:12 > 0:16:14and I just don't really want it to finish.

0:16:14 > 0:16:18Cos who knows? You might not get another West End job again.

0:16:18 > 0:16:19What I want to do next,

0:16:19 > 0:16:23I'm going to have quite a bit of rest, but if I had to go straight in

0:16:23 > 0:16:28to another work I would like to go in to TV or Michael in Billy Elliot.

0:16:28 > 0:16:29See you later.

0:16:29 > 0:16:31You all right?

0:16:36 > 0:16:38It's Saturday and the big day has arrived for Hayley

0:16:38 > 0:16:40and her dance troupe.

0:16:41 > 0:16:43The Big Match is just a few hours from kick-off

0:16:43 > 0:16:47and it's all down to them to open the show with a knockout routine.

0:16:48 > 0:16:52New recruit Alice only finished learning the choreography yesterday

0:16:52 > 0:16:55so the bus journey gives her valuable time to ensure

0:16:55 > 0:16:57she's memorised those moves.

0:16:57 > 0:16:59Walk, walk, then I don't know...

0:16:59 > 0:17:02Though she's happy to have made the cut as Jade's replacement,

0:17:02 > 0:17:05Alice still spares a thought for her injured school mate.

0:17:05 > 0:17:07I feel really sorry for Jade

0:17:07 > 0:17:10because I knew that she really wanted to do it.

0:17:10 > 0:17:12With the London, Guildford and Wokingham schools

0:17:12 > 0:17:13combining for the performance,

0:17:13 > 0:17:16Alice has concerns about their first ever rehearsal together.

0:17:16 > 0:17:19The only thing that's putting me off a bit is the Guildford people,

0:17:19 > 0:17:21just in case they...

0:17:21 > 0:17:23Cos we've never practised with them before.

0:17:29 > 0:17:31So we've just arrived at Academy Sport

0:17:31 > 0:17:34where we're going to do a rehearsal for The Big Match.

0:17:34 > 0:17:37So they're just coming in right now. I'm getting a bit nervous,

0:17:37 > 0:17:40but it's going to be fine. They won't know that.

0:17:40 > 0:17:41And yeah, we're actually going

0:17:41 > 0:17:45to see what's going to happen now, but positive thoughts all the way.

0:17:45 > 0:17:46We're going to carry on,

0:17:46 > 0:17:51follow up in the lines we just did all the way around the circle, yeah?

0:17:51 > 0:17:53So let's just have a little go.

0:17:53 > 0:17:55Having rehearsed separately up until now,

0:17:55 > 0:17:59the 55 pupils of all ages from three different schools

0:17:59 > 0:18:03join forces as Hayley runs through their first full rehearsal.

0:18:03 > 0:18:05OK, so that's too quick.

0:18:05 > 0:18:08Right, from here we go in to our shapes.

0:18:08 > 0:18:11We go five, six, seven and shape, two, three, four.

0:18:11 > 0:18:13Away from the comfort of a studio,

0:18:13 > 0:18:16Alice now has the new pressure of dancing on grass,

0:18:16 > 0:18:19doing the right moves, at the right time, in the right place.

0:18:32 > 0:18:39OK, so go. Food, water, hair, clothes and be ready for 1:45.

0:18:39 > 0:18:44They just have one chance, but I'm going to put 100%

0:18:44 > 0:18:48of my energy in to telling you that it's going to be great.

0:18:48 > 0:18:51They won't do it wrong. I don't want to eat my words.

0:18:56 > 0:18:58We're about to go on, I'm very excited,

0:18:58 > 0:19:01although I have been told the circle in the middle of the pitch

0:19:01 > 0:19:03is very faint...

0:19:03 > 0:19:06But I'm not worried, cos our kids are pros. We're going to be fine.

0:19:06 > 0:19:07Oh, hello.

0:19:08 > 0:19:10The pitch, it doesn't look scary.

0:19:10 > 0:19:15Just imagine the audience is, like, naked and it just helps you.

0:19:15 > 0:19:17This is the bit when Reggie goes on School For Stars,

0:19:17 > 0:19:19"Will she do it? I don't know".

0:19:19 > 0:19:21Yeah, thanks, Alice, that's my line.

0:19:24 > 0:19:27As this is a charity football match, only 2,000 people

0:19:27 > 0:19:28are allowed in to the ground.

0:19:28 > 0:19:31But those empty seats don't make it any less scary.

0:19:34 > 0:19:38And it looks like Alice has no more worries. She's all over it.

0:19:41 > 0:19:44MUSIC: "A Little Less Conversation" by Elvis Vs JXL

0:20:04 > 0:20:08It's been a massive success for Hayley and the dancers.

0:20:08 > 0:20:12It was amazing. It actually went so well. I'm so proud of myself.

0:20:12 > 0:20:14It looked so good, look at my face, I'm like..!

0:20:14 > 0:20:17THEY CHEER

0:20:22 > 0:20:26Tommy's run in the Singin' In The Rain musical might have ended,

0:20:26 > 0:20:28but as a born entertainer whose latest ambition

0:20:28 > 0:20:32is to star in Billy Elliot, he can't resist giving his singing class

0:20:32 > 0:20:34a little taster of what he'd be like.

0:20:34 > 0:20:36GIRL: Tommy, you're wearing a dress!

0:20:36 > 0:20:37- I know. - Funny, that.

0:20:37 > 0:20:39OK, shh, shh, shh.

0:20:40 > 0:20:45OK, Tommy, your exam is getting closer.

0:20:45 > 0:20:47OK? So just perform it.

0:20:47 > 0:20:48Imagine they're not there.

0:20:50 > 0:20:55It does that and then it goes back to here and then it goes...

0:20:55 > 0:20:59There was meant to be a dance break but we can put that in.

0:20:59 > 0:21:00Yep, that's right. Go on.

0:21:02 > 0:21:05That's it Tommy, go for it.

0:21:06 > 0:21:08OK, here we go.

0:21:11 > 0:21:14# Is it sinful if you're blue

0:21:14 > 0:21:16# To cheer up the place

0:21:16 > 0:21:22# What is wrong with dressing up in satin and lace? #

0:21:22 > 0:21:24Ole, baby!

0:21:24 > 0:21:26# What the hell's wrong with dressing yourself?

0:21:26 > 0:21:28# Being who you want to be?

0:21:30 > 0:21:32# Will anybody die if you put on a dress?

0:21:32 > 0:21:35# If you wanna be a dancer, dance

0:21:36 > 0:21:38# If you wanna be a miner, mine

0:21:39 > 0:21:42# If you want to dress like somebody else

0:21:42 > 0:21:45# Fine, fine, fine

0:21:45 > 0:21:49# It's not a big statement It's not a weird act

0:21:49 > 0:21:51# Just a good idea at the time

0:21:51 > 0:21:58# What we need is in-di-vi-du-al-ity #

0:21:58 > 0:22:01CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:22:04 > 0:22:06MUSIC: "DNA" by Little Mix

0:22:11 > 0:22:14Having missed out on dancing at The Big Match,

0:22:14 > 0:22:16Jade wants nothing more than to be better

0:22:16 > 0:22:18in time for the end-of-year show.

0:22:18 > 0:22:22On top of that, she has a ballet exam coming up in just a few weeks.

0:22:22 > 0:22:25Jade, what have you done?

0:22:25 > 0:22:26It's just here.

0:22:26 > 0:22:29But it's a whole proper hard cast.

0:22:29 > 0:22:31- I actually fractured it. - And where does it hurt?

0:22:31 > 0:22:32Here, like this bit.

0:22:34 > 0:22:38Hmm, OK. Well, keep your brain alive, please,

0:22:38 > 0:22:41- while we work, cos I want to do the dance today.- OK.- So...

0:22:49 > 0:22:53Someone help Jade as she's such a hop-along.

0:22:56 > 0:23:00It's not common to see that sort of injury.

0:23:00 > 0:23:03The worry is that it's in a plaster cast.

0:23:03 > 0:23:04That does concern me a little bit.

0:23:04 > 0:23:08The worry with Jade's injury is the rehabilitation.

0:23:08 > 0:23:10Whether or not she can get back to full strength

0:23:10 > 0:23:13and how quickly she can get back to full strength.

0:23:13 > 0:23:16Particularly with classical ballet she needs to be equally strong

0:23:16 > 0:23:19on both ankles and if there's an injury, there's a weakness

0:23:19 > 0:23:21and that could cause problems in the future.
