:01:23. > :01:28.the stars of our show -- Ben. They have tasted the work situation and
:01:28. > :01:34.we have partnered leading employers all week long with people in the
:01:34. > :01:39.audience right now. Tonight, High Street chain, Timpson is telling us
:01:39. > :01:45.who they are taking off the dole queue. There is still lots of time
:01:45. > :01:51.to pay a visit to our online jobs fair, and here to tell us all about
:01:51. > :01:55.it from our very own Chris Moyles show is Tina Daheley. Thank you,
:01:55. > :02:05.Richard. You have 25 minutes to get online and join the conversation.
:02:05. > :02:10.
:02:10. > :02:15.Now, throughout the week we have been following four young
:02:15. > :02:19.jobseeker's as they crammed a lifetime's career into a few days.
:02:19. > :02:24.We saw them tackling everything from starter jobs all the way up to
:02:24. > :02:33.running massive companies. They are here in the studio. It is Kirsty,
:02:33. > :02:38.Sasha, Chris and Ben, ladies and gentlemen. APPLAUSE It's been a,
:02:38. > :02:43.for us, it's been a fascinating week. Kirsty, are you glad you took
:02:43. > :02:49.part in the programme? At times it was difficult, you know, we were
:02:50. > :02:54.thrown things we had never ever done before, but yes, it has been
:02:54. > :02:58.absolutely fantastic. A real eye opener to the world of work. Chris,
:02:58. > :03:02.have you learned much about work, but yourself? I have learned that I
:03:02. > :03:08.can do anything, if I put my mind to it, well, not everything, but
:03:08. > :03:14.it's been very good. You have brought together Monckton
:03:14. > :03:20.Helicopters, that is the triumph of the week. Ben, you learned what is
:03:20. > :03:24.in a bacon burger if memory serves, are you pleased you took part?
:03:24. > :03:30.was stressful, there are places where I looked really silly, but
:03:30. > :03:40.the experience is great. It never would have gone like that if I was
:03:40. > :03:45.on my own. Sasha, you had an amazing week? I am quite a hard
:03:45. > :03:49.person, I never country in front of anyone, and this week I cried in
:03:49. > :03:56.front of everyone. There were points when I had a really good
:03:56. > :04:04.time. I met thee thee and she taught me everything. I got to me
:04:04. > :04:10.you! And I got to me you! I really enjoyed it, you have had this 40-
:04:10. > :04:13.year career fast-for warded, it seems that you have grown in
:04:14. > :04:20.confidence while watching you over the course of the few days. Over
:04:20. > :04:24.the last few weeks we have seen tears, bikinis, shouting, clones
:04:24. > :04:29.and Chris taking Liberty! But what happened when the fast-tracking
:04:30. > :04:34.came to a screeching halt. Let's start with Ben. I have learned that
:04:34. > :04:40.there are so many different paths to take. Everyone has floors. That
:04:40. > :04:44.is what I needed to realise. If Ben was always there... I haven't
:04:44. > :04:50.really done... I speak English... I haven't done research... This is
:04:50. > :04:55.the sense of insecurity. Did you ask who has the authority? No. It
:04:55. > :05:00.won't affect me as much as they used to, I guess. I'm Ben... Now
:05:00. > :05:05.I'm being to being unemployed. If the agency came to me and they were
:05:05. > :05:11.like they wanted me to work in head office, but in the restaurant, I
:05:11. > :05:17.would understand what that was, I would jump at that opportunity.
:05:17. > :05:22.are you, Ben. You sent an e-mail asking for advice, I thought that a
:05:22. > :05:28.great step. What are the key questions that you would like my
:05:28. > :05:33.advice on? How far down do you have to work to go up. I would reframe
:05:33. > :05:39.that speaking, don't speak of up and down. Think about it as
:05:39. > :05:43.starting on the front line. I work myself at the front line every week.
:05:43. > :05:48.It is so important to understand what is going on at that level. So
:05:48. > :05:53.I'm a big fan of that. Your front line is a phase of that journey,
:05:53. > :06:00.but as long as there is something to follow, you need to do that in
:06:00. > :06:05.the job. I need to rephrase my CV. So, what do you want me to do with
:06:05. > :06:09.the VC? I'm going to send it to you to see if there is anything that
:06:09. > :06:14.you think is alarming and what is good about it, what is bad, what I
:06:14. > :06:22.should highlight more in interviews. Excellent. I would be happy to do
:06:22. > :06:28.that? Anything else I can do for you, Ben? No. Are you OK? OK.
:06:28. > :06:33.let me take you to the door. The ball is lying there in front of the
:06:33. > :06:38.door and he is not kicking it. didn't ask him for a job, because I
:06:38. > :06:42.might ask him for a role later on. At the moment I think that I will
:06:42. > :06:47.reassess my situation. Maybe I should just go and ask him for a
:06:47. > :06:57.job. I can't go back in there now. Give me a moment to think... What
:06:57. > :07:00.
:07:00. > :07:06.do you think that I should do? APPLAUSE That's a great reaction in
:07:06. > :07:12.the room! At the end of that conversation that you had at the
:07:12. > :07:18.end with the Chief Executive, Peter. Watching you two, there, it was
:07:18. > :07:23.like watching two people who really fancy each other. You were missing
:07:23. > :07:29.the signals. You've been unemployed since March, year a Green Goddess
:07:29. > :07:35.wait, have you found a job yet? I haven't found a job yet, but I
:07:35. > :07:39.did go back and ask Jens for a job. There is something in the pipeline
:07:39. > :07:47.there. Never mind the pipeline business, is there a question that
:07:47. > :07:50.you would like to ask Jens? When can I start!? That is exactly the
:07:50. > :07:56.self-confidence and the drive I want to see in you. I'm so happy
:07:56. > :08:00.that is coming out. Listen, the idea you came up with on the salad
:08:00. > :08:05.bar was good, but what was much more important was the way you went
:08:05. > :08:08.about it. The one thing you are strong at is that you relate to
:08:08. > :08:12.people, you respect people at every level of the organisation, whether
:08:12. > :08:15.it is at the restaurant or the head office. You relate to them so well.
:08:15. > :08:20.It is because you had the relationships that you build
:08:20. > :08:25.quickly, that you came up with a fantastic idea. You know, Pizza Hut
:08:25. > :08:31.is a hospitality business. We love people. We are a people business.
:08:31. > :08:39.You are a guy that loves people. You are a Pizza Hut guy, Pizza Hut
:08:39. > :08:44.loves you, so, you have yourself a job! High five! Well done! Well
:08:44. > :08:51.done! Can you tell him what job are we talking about? What job is he
:08:51. > :08:56.going to be doing? I will start Ben off serving guest -- guests. That
:08:56. > :09:00.is the front line it is the core. From there on, we are progressing
:09:00. > :09:05.him quickly into management, then to go to our marketing team, to
:09:05. > :09:11.work on the salad bar. Tell us what that means to you, Ben? To be
:09:11. > :09:16.honest, Jens is an amazing guy. He is so fantastic. To have someone
:09:17. > :09:22.like that looking out for me in a career, that is pretty sweet.
:09:22. > :09:31.guy. Good luck in your new career. Ben, ladies and gentlemen. Well
:09:31. > :09:40.done. APPLAUSE Now, to Kirsty... Let's see what you've been up to
:09:40. > :09:47.since you're fast-track career finished. I've got a job! Finally!
:09:47. > :09:51.It was a guilty who I met at the AOL networking events. I went to
:09:51. > :09:56.his office in Piccadilly circus to meet him. He just gave me a job,
:09:56. > :10:00.really. It is communications executive. It is getting stuck into
:10:00. > :10:05.hard work. Using the skills that I've been trying to get across to
:10:05. > :10:09.employers in job applications and all of the work experience I've
:10:09. > :10:13.managed to get it will be incredibly exciting. The perfect
:10:13. > :10:20.first job, really. It's the beginning. Kirsty has the best
:10:20. > :10:29.opportunity to make the most of it Actually, you have to cut the
:10:29. > :10:32.umbilical and let them get on with it. Thank you. Goodbye, Kirsty.
:10:32. > :10:37.don't have a place in London. So I will take a bag and live out of
:10:37. > :10:41.that for a while. I will stay with Ben. So, yeah, it should be a laugh.
:10:41. > :10:46.I'm really pleased to be in London. This is what I thought I would have
:10:46. > :10:51.to do. What I was happy to do. So I'm glad to be here finally with a
:10:51. > :10:57.job to go to on Monday. The first day of my working life, really,
:10:57. > :11:04.really exciting. I hope that I can do a good job. Anybody who is
:11:04. > :11:10.anybody who has offered me advice, I have taken heed off. So do a good
:11:10. > :11:14.job, make an impression. When people are good, they do well.
:11:14. > :11:21.Lucky enough this we can we have three new starters in the business.
:11:21. > :11:27.First of all, Kirsty, who is joining us as our communications
:11:27. > :11:32.executive. We see a lot of bright graduates. He is was especially so.
:11:32. > :11:37.Really bright. Really personable. Dead keen it start to work to maim
:11:37. > :11:44.an impact. So we are very much looking forward to having her on
:11:44. > :11:50.board. One step closer to Downing Street! APPLAUSE Well, then,
:11:50. > :11:55.Kirsty? That's a great result! How long were you out of work when you
:11:55. > :12:01.joined us at the start of the week on the programme? It was seven
:12:01. > :12:08.months. He done three internships, but seven months without a job.
:12:08. > :12:13.got to know you at home, but you were getting down at home?
:12:13. > :12:17.Absolutely. What you did not see. Me and my friends had started a job
:12:17. > :12:25.club, but I was getting to the point where I was thinking what
:12:25. > :12:31.else could I do. And this job came from the AOL networking event? Kate
:12:31. > :12:36.from AOL is still with us. A council of reflections on Kirsty,
:12:36. > :12:42.Kate? Well, first of all, I'm thrilled that the whole project for
:12:42. > :12:49.Kirsty has come to this finale where she has a job with SOMO. They
:12:49. > :12:53.are a great agency, at the cusp of advertising. She could not be in
:12:53. > :13:01.greater hands and she said one step closer to becoming the Prime
:13:01. > :13:11.Minister, so, God help us all. you are moving in with Ben? Yes,
:13:11. > :13:13.
:13:13. > :13:22.the lovely Ben. Oops, do we need to buy a hat! Yes, we are Peter and
:13:22. > :13:27.Jordan! I'm Jordan! Dad, are you pleased that Kirsty has been with
:13:27. > :13:33.us this week? It has been an experience. I've been on the
:13:33. > :13:37.touchline but unable to influence things. I could not be more proud.
:13:37. > :13:43.The courage she has shown through the episodes. Her and the other
:13:43. > :13:46.candidates. Was it hard to watch when it went wrong for her? It was
:13:47. > :13:53.almost impossible. I've been wishing her every success for so
:13:53. > :13:57.long now, perhaps, she is on her way. It is brilliant news. You are
:13:57. > :14:04.behind the Downing Street news? not so sure about that, she has a
:14:04. > :14:13.year or two to go. You are the block that sacked your wife three
:14:13. > :14:17.times?! You have to make some of these hard decisions! APPLAUSE
:14:17. > :14:22.Kirsty, congratulation, it's been great getting to know you. Thank
:14:22. > :14:26.you very much. I would like to say this has been an amazing
:14:26. > :14:32.opportunity, but there are still 1 million people unemployed. If we
:14:32. > :14:35.are not skilled enough, maybe we need training it must be targeted
:14:35. > :14:39.at languages, technology and business. We are keen and
:14:39. > :14:49.enthusiastic. We know the scale of the problem. People can get in
:14:49. > :14:50.
:14:50. > :14:56.touch with us at the website. We have had an incredible response
:14:56. > :15:00.online. Adam: "I started watching on Monday. I have been watching
:15:00. > :15:05.tonight as a freshly employed person. Thank you for your tips."
:15:05. > :15:08.Nicholas said: "I got a job yesterday three hours after the
:15:08. > :15:14.interview. Watching the show was kept at advice at the forefront of
:15:14. > :15:21.my mind." Richard said, "Thank you for the tips, I watch three nights
:15:21. > :15:24.ago and came handy for my interview. Turns out I got the job." Sioux is
:15:25. > :15:32.a careers adviser and says she has used some of our tips when giving
:15:32. > :15:35.advice to others. Trisha says "It has been a great support to know I
:15:35. > :15:41.am not alone as an out-of-work graduate. It has motivated me to
:15:41. > :15:48.think outside the box, and that has resulted in two interviews." Lily
:15:48. > :15:52.says: "The past four days of open my eyes. I feel motivated."
:15:52. > :15:56.Katerina says "It tells me not to go insane any more. The emotional
:15:56. > :16:01.support was the big help and I got a kick that I needed to keep
:16:02. > :16:05.going." Shane says, finally, "I have handed out my CV. I went to
:16:05. > :16:11.the employer instead of bringing them. It has helped me in for
:16:11. > :16:15.better prospects." That is incredible. Some terrific stories
:16:15. > :16:19.there. Over the last week, we have got 28 paid placements with the
:16:19. > :16:25.companies we are partnered with, Starbucks, Hilton Worldwide, Argos,
:16:25. > :16:28.Scottish Power and Greggs. But we have not finished yet. Our final
:16:28. > :16:31.partner was tense and, he was a look of their interviews,
:16:31. > :16:36.highlighting the importance of dazzling them with a winning
:16:36. > :16:41.personality. -- Timpson. The ideal candidate has got loads of
:16:41. > :16:48.personality, needs to get out of bed in the morning and earn a wage.
:16:48. > :16:53.I am Denniston Air One to give the tour. For me. -- I am Dennis and I
:16:53. > :16:54.want to give you the tour. looking for life qualifications.
:16:55. > :17:02.looking for life qualifications. was the only unemployed in my
:17:02. > :17:08.family. My brother goes on about it. If you speak to James, it is all
:17:08. > :17:14.about the personality. That says it all.
:17:15. > :17:20.Tommy about yourself. I used to work with events, writing... --
:17:20. > :17:29.tell me about yourself. That is about it. What is your favourite
:17:30. > :17:33.band? That is tougher. Death tones. I don't know them. I have done a
:17:33. > :17:37.lot of customer service. My parents owned a takeaway. I have been
:17:37. > :17:42.helping out with customers for years. I have a young family to
:17:42. > :17:47.take care of, so for me, I am looking for a career. Up until now,
:17:47. > :17:50.this has been taking my boxes. do not know where you're going to
:17:50. > :17:54.go in life but there are always new opportunities to open. I thought
:17:54. > :18:03.something like this would be a new challenge, a completely different
:18:03. > :18:09.market. We wanted a key cut, but we did not know what sort of key we
:18:09. > :18:14.actually needed. Adie got any questions for me? I read a little
:18:14. > :18:20.bit. He said that you could sell snow to an Eskimo. How can you do
:18:20. > :18:27.that? -- have you got any questions. It comes down to a personality. I
:18:27. > :18:32.am a salesman, more than an IT guy. How would you tell the Eskimo to
:18:32. > :18:39.buy snow? It would be very difficult. Are you a city or United
:18:39. > :18:42.fan? Either. It was going so well until then. He would have been
:18:42. > :18:48.impressed by the fact that I have come away from Plymouth to
:18:48. > :18:58.Manchester. My son will look up to me one day and say, Daddy, what did
:18:58. > :19:03.
:19:03. > :19:11.you do? I am trying to get myself a APPLAUSE And you're here now.
:19:11. > :19:16.Clearly, this means a lot here. would help me to provide for my son
:19:16. > :19:21.and keep a family together, and be somebody. It is depressing when you
:19:21. > :19:29.are not in work. I had been out of work since July. To tell us who was
:19:29. > :19:37.successful, we are joined by the man they call Mr Timpson, from
:19:37. > :19:44.Cumbria. Mr James Finson. Ladies and gentlemen. A's can you hear us
:19:44. > :19:48.bouquet? -- a's. You have for us two paid placements to give to our
:19:48. > :19:51.applicants. What are the jobs? jobs are working in our shops
:19:51. > :19:58.around the country serving customers, repairing shoes, cutting
:19:58. > :20:01.keys. And it can be the beginning of a career? Everybody in our
:20:01. > :20:08.business is promoted from within, so we hope to recruit ambitious
:20:08. > :20:15.people who are really going for it. Who is the job going to? I have
:20:15. > :20:25.done the interviews and I was really impressed. I would love to
:20:25. > :20:29.
:20:29. > :20:35.have Reuel and Tang working for us. Working for us. Well done. James,
:20:35. > :20:40.can you see these guys? Yes. you see the smiles on their faces?
:20:40. > :20:44.It is great. I am delighted for them. They deserve this and I know
:20:44. > :20:51.they will be really good. Thank you. How long have you been looking for
:20:51. > :20:55.work? About seven months now. It is getting depressing. Being at home
:20:55. > :20:59.all the time, you were looking for work, but you want to get out there.
:20:59. > :21:05.How long have you been working -- looking? Since July. What was that
:21:05. > :21:11.like? Depressing. Hard, but my advice was to just get out of bed.
:21:11. > :21:17.Get out of bed and don't give up. And you want to do this for you and
:21:17. > :21:27.your son. For me and my son. Congratulations. Thanks, James.
:21:27. > :21:29.
:21:29. > :21:34.Sorry about Manchester City! James Simpson, thank you for joining us.
:21:34. > :21:37.-- Timpson. Commiserations to anyone unsuccessful this time
:21:38. > :21:44.around. All through this week, as we have said, the more interviews
:21:44. > :21:52.you do, the better your chances are. If you need more advice, about CBEs
:21:52. > :21:58.or anything else, go to our website: -- CVs. We started the
:21:58. > :22:01.week hoping to fill 23 paid work positions. Some of the companies
:22:01. > :22:07.were so impressed with the calibre of candidates that they met, they
:22:07. > :22:13.created an additional five positions. And means the number of
:22:13. > :22:23.people now in paid work has gone up to 30 and they are all on the wall
:22:23. > :22:28.
:22:28. > :22:33.just there. 30 people. Marc Pugh son, where are you? -- P
:22:33. > :22:37.Merson. You are telling us about 20 used to work with a fiery chef,
:22:37. > :22:40.naming no names. You're an entrepreneur and you have made a
:22:40. > :22:44.lot of money. After one of the studio shows, someone in the
:22:44. > :22:47.audience came up to you and had a chat. Tell us what happened.
:22:47. > :22:51.chatted to someone else and I was sitting up there. As soon as the
:22:51. > :22:55.cameras went off, he jumped out of his seat and came to somebody else
:22:55. > :22:59.who had said he was a successful businessman. I spotted him and I
:22:59. > :23:04.thought, he has got balls, he is going to make it happen. I could
:23:04. > :23:10.not get a word in edgeways. I was trying to give him my card. I told
:23:10. > :23:15.him to contact me and send me a CV. And he did two. Are you in a
:23:15. > :23:23.position to offer me a job? -- to offer him a job? He is sitting
:23:23. > :23:27.right here. You were impressed by his enthusiasm. Yes. Do you know
:23:27. > :23:31.about this? I was told to come back after Tuesday but it did not tell
:23:31. > :23:37.me why. Tell them why. I would love to offer you a job. I think you
:23:37. > :23:44.have got balls, I think you are an entrepreneur in your blood. There
:23:44. > :23:49.were 200 people in the audience and not one of them jumped on that guy.
:23:49. > :23:54.How about that? APPLAUSE How long have you been
:23:54. > :23:58.looking? I have been looking for work in London for the last two-
:23:58. > :24:04.and-a-half months. It was four months prior to that to save up to
:24:04. > :24:14.move over here to pursue my goal. Were you from? Canada. What sort of
:24:14. > :24:18.
:24:18. > :24:23.work. --? We have 100 staff based in central London, and I have five
:24:23. > :24:27.more positions available. Anybody else who wants one, I am here.
:24:27. > :24:31.Jumper over chairs. You are looking for athletic ability! Five more
:24:31. > :24:36.jobs. We have many unemployed people and the audience and you are
:24:36. > :24:42.ready to take people on. How much do they get in touch? If You were
:24:42. > :24:51.Here,, contact me. You can go to the website. -- come and contact me.
:24:51. > :24:56.Very decent of you. Should I say what my answer is? If the answer is
:24:56. > :25:05.no, that means that this series will end on a very sour note.
:25:05. > :25:13.Absolutely, for ratings sake, I have no hesitation in saying yes.
:25:13. > :25:18.Congratulations. Thank you, Mark. Earlier, we saw what happened to
:25:18. > :25:24.Ben and Kirsty since they finished their career, but what about Our
:25:24. > :25:30.other recruits, Sacha and Chris? Let us start with Sacha. I feel
:25:30. > :25:34.like I have changed. Working here has set my mind going. If I cannot
:25:34. > :25:40.find a job out there that I really want to do, maybe I will create my
:25:40. > :25:45.own. It sounds kind of daring. My idea is to create a girl's world.
:25:45. > :25:48.It is for children to dress up, maybe have been Mears -- their
:25:48. > :25:53.nails done, their hair done, and they will be able to have the
:25:53. > :25:57.experience of being a princess for a day. I need to start researching
:25:57. > :26:05.places. I want to look at a property at sea had began need
:26:05. > :26:10.somewhere, what rooms I need, what facilities. I need an investor. I
:26:10. > :26:13.need lots of other things, but I'm not going to set and go, I'm scared.
:26:13. > :26:17.I am a mother and that was one of the things they said. You have all
:26:17. > :26:21.the skills that you do not know. One of the bigger skills is that I
:26:21. > :26:27.know what children like. Fear told me that I had great ideas and I
:26:27. > :26:37.should go with them. She has inspired me. I'm in a good place at
:26:37. > :26:40.
:26:40. > :26:44.the moment. -- Thea. I have loved getting to know you this week. You
:26:44. > :26:53.have been out of work for a long time. A very long time. Over two
:26:53. > :26:57.years. I did work before I had children, only two. I have not been
:26:57. > :27:01.able to work because I wanted to stay at home and look after them.
:27:01. > :27:05.And also, I have been looking for work. And we had the discussion
:27:05. > :27:09.earlier, if you're unemployed for a while, why not start your own
:27:09. > :27:13.business? And that is something you would like to do? It is definitely
:27:13. > :27:17.an idea. I came out of their presentation and I thought,
:27:17. > :27:22.although I was petrified of doing the presentation and I had lots of
:27:22. > :27:26.scared feelings, but I had this idea. I was like, you know what,
:27:26. > :27:33.I'm going to research and see how it goes. Once started, I could not
:27:33. > :27:37.stop. I have lows of research. loads of research. And that came
:27:37. > :27:40.out of being the MD of Nails Inc. There is something you want to say
:27:40. > :27:45.There is something you want to say to her? Two things. First of all,
:27:45. > :27:49.the pitch that he did, you spoke to three boutiques, which was a
:27:49. > :27:53.completely new market for Nails Inc. All three of those said they were
:27:53. > :27:56.interested in talking further or have said yes to stocking our
:27:56. > :28:03.products. You're so much more capable than you think your are
:28:03. > :28:07.because you got three and 83. -- three out of three. Two offers for
:28:07. > :28:12.you. That is news to me, that you're wanting to set up your own
:28:12. > :28:15.business and I am very excited that he felt inspired to do that, and
:28:15. > :28:22.that you are embracing all of your skills to go off and set up your
:28:22. > :28:25.own business. Either I will help you in any way Akam and mentor you
:28:25. > :28:30.and do what I can to help set up a business, or in the meantime, as an
:28:30. > :28:32.alternative, if you would like to come in and work at Nails Inc for a
:28:32. > :28:40.three-month apprenticeship, and really learn the business from the
:28:40. > :28:44.front line in the office. A3 month full-time paid job? Full-time.
:28:44. > :28:48.love the sound of that. I think I will ask my dad. He has not even
:28:48. > :28:52.heard of my business idea and neither has my mother. She's
:28:52. > :28:56.probably quite shocked. I did not want tell anyone and get negative
:28:56. > :29:06.feedback until I did it. But that sounds amazing! Good. You deserve
:29:06. > :29:10.it. My eldest is seven, and she would love to go to a goals world.
:29:10. > :29:12.-- girls world. I will bring her along when you open your first
:29:12. > :29:17.along when you open your first store because it sounds incredible.
:29:17. > :29:27.I am getting over-excited again. like you over-excited. Thank you,
:29:27. > :29:31.
:29:31. > :29:37.Sacha. Congratulations. APPLAUSE Well done.
:29:37. > :29:47.Finally, Chris. Let us have a look at what you have been up to since
:29:47. > :29:47.
:29:47. > :29:51.you're fast track. I enjoyed the experience a lot. I still think I
:29:51. > :29:58.am lucky to have had an experience like that. I'm having a brilliant
:29:58. > :30:08.time. I have learned a lot. The experience had made me wanted more.
:30:08. > :30:09.
:30:09. > :30:14.I have updated my CV. I have said I was the nd of Liberty! -- nd.
:30:14. > :30:20.Development director. I had been looking at my CV and looking at
:30:20. > :30:29.these crappy jobs, straight away, I think they will give me an
:30:29. > :30:32.interview. Young people, walking along the streets,... Being an --
:30:32. > :30:38.being a Managing Director at Liberty, and then coming back here
:30:38. > :30:43.to work minimum-wage a in a bar, all right... That is how I can
:30:43. > :30:49.explain at the moment, just a half. I want to be back at that level
:30:49. > :30:53.again, not managing director, but something important. Here, I feel
:30:53. > :31:00.like I'm not important because it is a minimum wage job. It is just
:31:00. > :31:05.not me. I want to feel like I want to go to work. I am definitely
:31:05. > :31:15.moving to London, but it is just a matter of time, getting the money,
:31:15. > :31:16.
:31:16. > :31:19.getting a job and doing it. APPLAUSE I think you have been
:31:19. > :31:28.outstanding this week. You have really shone. How long have you
:31:28. > :31:33.been out of work? Since 20th May 10. And you have not got a job yet? --
:31:33. > :31:40.since 20th May 10. And we saw you becoming the managing director of
:31:40. > :31:45.Liberty. Ed, you were impressed with him? Of a a a much. -- very
:31:45. > :31:54.much. He had some confidence issues, but I think he got over them very
:31:54. > :32:00.quickly. He gave a killer presentation to the management
:32:00. > :32:04.group. That can be kind of scary. He had some amazing ideas and
:32:04. > :32:09.observations, things that we are going to take on board. Is there
:32:09. > :32:19.anything you would like to say? would like to ask Chris if he would
:32:19. > :32:19.
:32:19. > :32:26.like to come and join Liberty. That is a good response. Ben is
:32:26. > :32:29.nodding furiously! What are you talking about? He would be selling
:32:29. > :32:33.at first and we would see her that went and then we would have a
:32:33. > :32:42.conversation about the retail management programme. Three months
:32:42. > :32:48.or-so? No end to it. Forever! open ended full-time job. What do
:32:48. > :32:53.you think? Well, I'm going to have to sort of take into account... No,
:32:53. > :33:03.I'm here! And loving it, my hands are sweating. The answer is yes.
:33:03. > :33:07.
:33:07. > :33:12.course it is. Congratulations. I can confirm that they are
:33:12. > :33:17.marvellously sweaty hands. That is it. It is a great way to win the
:33:17. > :33:22.series. Thank you for watching. Well done to Chris, Sacha, Kirsty
