0:00:03 > 0:00:06The Lusted family from Rhos-on-Sea, North Wales.

0:00:06 > 0:00:08Can you see there?

0:00:10 > 0:00:13Dave, Dawn and their two sons, James and Philip.

0:00:14 > 0:00:16There's a little one over there.

0:00:16 > 0:00:20Phil is 32 and James is 29.

0:00:21 > 0:00:23Do you want to get on my shoulders?

0:00:23 > 0:00:26And both brothers have a rare form of dwarfism

0:00:26 > 0:00:27called diastrophic dysplasia.

0:00:27 > 0:00:30You've had too much pizza!

0:00:30 > 0:00:33Although they are both of average height themselves,

0:00:33 > 0:00:37Phil and James's parents, Dave and Dawn, are both carriers of the gene.

0:00:37 > 0:00:39But they were completely unaware of this

0:00:39 > 0:00:42until their first child, Phil, was born.

0:00:42 > 0:00:47Phil stands at three foot tall and James at three foot seven inches.

0:00:47 > 0:00:50And they've both faced many challenges.

0:00:50 > 0:00:53They have battled serious physical difficulties

0:00:53 > 0:00:56that could have left them unable to walk.

0:00:56 > 0:00:58They have struggled to be accepted

0:00:58 > 0:01:01and have endured a lifetime of people staring at them.

0:01:03 > 0:01:05But most of all,

0:01:05 > 0:01:07they have always worried that they may never find love.

0:01:09 > 0:01:13They were wrong. James is marrying his girlfriend Chloe...

0:01:14 > 0:01:17I love it that Chloe's accepted me for who I am.

0:01:17 > 0:01:21..and Phil is in a relationship with Kathleen, who he met online.

0:01:21 > 0:01:23- Hi.- Hi.

0:01:23 > 0:01:25What's up?

0:01:25 > 0:01:29Two small men who have found their big love story.

0:01:40 > 0:01:43Do you remember when we came down here and you put your feet in?

0:01:43 > 0:01:46With James and Chloe's wedding just months away,

0:01:46 > 0:01:48they visit the local beauty spot

0:01:48 > 0:01:51that was the scene of their engagement.

0:01:51 > 0:01:52Little pysgod!

0:01:55 > 0:01:56Watch your head.

0:01:59 > 0:02:03Well, we're in Llyn Geirionydd. What a beautiful place it is.

0:02:07 > 0:02:11It's very special to us, because it's where we got engaged.

0:02:11 > 0:02:15So, yeah, that's why it's special to me.

0:02:15 > 0:02:16And to us, yeah.

0:02:16 > 0:02:21We came for a date night, as we call it,

0:02:21 > 0:02:24we like to have one of those at least once a week.

0:02:24 > 0:02:27Jay was particularly quiet on the way up to the lake

0:02:27 > 0:02:30and that's never like him. We got to the jetty,

0:02:30 > 0:02:33I sat down, we started chatting,

0:02:33 > 0:02:35and before you know it,

0:02:35 > 0:02:38he was behind me, tapped me on the shoulder,

0:02:38 > 0:02:41and said, "What would you do if I asked you to marry me?"

0:02:42 > 0:02:44Turned around and there he was, on one knee.

0:02:46 > 0:02:47I said yes, by the way!

0:02:47 > 0:02:50When we got up here I was nervous,

0:02:50 > 0:02:52you know, I was, nervous, you know.

0:02:52 > 0:02:55I couldn't get the ring out of my pocket at first.

0:02:55 > 0:02:59I was a bit panicky. So I was trying to change the subject, saying,

0:02:59 > 0:03:02"Look at that fish over there in the lake," and there was nothing to be seen.

0:03:02 > 0:03:06Anyway, I eventually got the ring out of my pocket and then the deed took place.

0:03:08 > 0:03:12When James and Phil's parents, Dawn and Dave, fell in love and married,

0:03:12 > 0:03:14they were keen to start planning a family.

0:03:16 > 0:03:17But they had no idea at the time

0:03:17 > 0:03:21that they were both carrying the dwarfism gene.

0:03:21 > 0:03:24I'd seen people on telly as dwarves

0:03:24 > 0:03:28but never thought we as a family would have dwarves.

0:03:31 > 0:03:36And as I say, it did come quite as a shock, but I also remember saying,

0:03:36 > 0:03:42if... I would sell the house to put...

0:03:42 > 0:03:44if it was going to make a difference to Phil,

0:03:44 > 0:03:48to put him right. But that wasn't the option.

0:03:48 > 0:03:50Phil was never going to be...

0:03:50 > 0:03:55not ever any amount of money would change the way Phil was.

0:03:55 > 0:03:58Um, but that's what was going through my mind, you know,

0:03:58 > 0:04:00which probably would go through any parent's mind.

0:04:02 > 0:04:06But as the time went on, we've got to get used to this now.

0:04:06 > 0:04:08I've got to do the best as a dad.

0:04:09 > 0:04:11Which was hard.

0:04:13 > 0:04:14Ready?

0:04:14 > 0:04:16When planning their second child,

0:04:16 > 0:04:20they knew they had a one in four chance of having another baby

0:04:20 > 0:04:24with the same condition. But they went ahead regardless.

0:04:24 > 0:04:27It's just one of those things.

0:04:27 > 0:04:29It's a chance in a million,

0:04:29 > 0:04:32for two people with the same gene to get together,

0:04:32 > 0:04:37and there was a one in four chance of it happening.

0:04:37 > 0:04:40So we thought that was quite a good chance,

0:04:40 > 0:04:44we'd got three chances of another child being OK.

0:04:45 > 0:04:47Then we'll test it.

0:04:47 > 0:04:50Tell me when it's switched on and I'll press test.

0:04:50 > 0:04:54We decided we'd go for having another baby and...

0:04:56 > 0:05:00..Phil was about three, and I got pregnant and...

0:05:02 > 0:05:05..we were hoping that everything would be all right this time.

0:05:08 > 0:05:13So I went for my scan and the lady was giving me the scan,

0:05:13 > 0:05:16and she was taking a long time.

0:05:16 > 0:05:20And I knew that there was something wrong and she wasn't saying.

0:05:20 > 0:05:23And she went off to get her supervisor.

0:05:23 > 0:05:25And he came and then they were measuring again.

0:05:26 > 0:05:34And he said, "Sorry to say, but your baby has got short limbs."

0:05:34 > 0:05:36Well, it just broke my heart.

0:05:36 > 0:05:40I remember getting back into my clothes and getting upset,

0:05:40 > 0:05:43like I am now, thinking about it.

0:05:46 > 0:05:47Ready?

0:05:47 > 0:05:49MOTOR WHIRS

0:05:58 > 0:05:59It's just bringing it all back.

0:06:06 > 0:06:07Glass of champagne now?

0:06:12 > 0:06:16Once I got that out of my system -

0:06:16 > 0:06:19I was really upset at the time - I was fine then,

0:06:19 > 0:06:21because I knew what was coming.

0:06:27 > 0:06:30Phil has been married once before.

0:06:30 > 0:06:32Things didn't work out that time,

0:06:32 > 0:06:36but it was a good relationship while it lasted.

0:06:36 > 0:06:40I met my ex-wife online.

0:06:40 > 0:06:44And we talked for, I think, about six months, regularly.

0:06:44 > 0:06:50And then I decided to take a trip to meet her, because she's from Canada.

0:06:50 > 0:06:56And I think we officially started dating

0:06:56 > 0:06:58after I'd been there, you know.

0:06:58 > 0:07:01And we were together for three years.

0:07:01 > 0:07:05And then we got married and we were married for three years,

0:07:05 > 0:07:08and then things got tough, and then I came back here.

0:07:09 > 0:07:14Past experience hasn't put Phil off looking for love again.

0:07:14 > 0:07:18I've met somebody online, who is from Seattle.

0:07:18 > 0:07:21Been talking to her for a few months now.

0:07:21 > 0:07:25And we're very close, friendship.

0:07:29 > 0:07:33She found me through an article that was written about my tattoos.

0:07:34 > 0:07:37And I think she added me to Facebook

0:07:37 > 0:07:39and we started talking that way.

0:07:41 > 0:07:44We just got talking more regularly,

0:07:44 > 0:07:46non-stop, basically!

0:07:48 > 0:07:49DOG BARKS

0:07:49 > 0:07:51And after months of talking,

0:07:51 > 0:07:56Phil is taking the plunge and going out to Seattle to meet Kathleen for

0:07:56 > 0:07:57the first time.

0:07:57 > 0:08:00I'm out there for... for a month, four weeks.

0:08:01 > 0:08:03We have lots of stuff planned.

0:08:03 > 0:08:07She has lots of surprises for me, apparently, taking me places, which,

0:08:07 > 0:08:11I don't know what they are, but I'm excited about.

0:08:12 > 0:08:16I think everybody wants to be loved and be with somebody.

0:08:16 > 0:08:19So that's how I feel too, you know.

0:08:21 > 0:08:24Chloe is heading off to her wedding make-up trial.

0:08:24 > 0:08:26- Hi!- Hello, how are you?

0:08:26 > 0:08:31She's used to people's curiosity about their relationship with James,

0:08:31 > 0:08:33or Jay, as he is also known.

0:08:33 > 0:08:35- Pop yourself down for me. - Thank you.

0:08:38 > 0:08:41OK, so give me a rough idea of what you want.

0:08:41 > 0:08:45Um, natural skin tone, natural lip, bold eyes.

0:08:47 > 0:08:49So was it love at first sight?

0:08:49 > 0:08:51Um, no!

0:08:53 > 0:08:58To be honest, because of who Jay is and his condition,

0:08:58 > 0:09:01I never really thought about him in that kind of way.

0:09:03 > 0:09:07But after we'd met up a couple of times,

0:09:07 > 0:09:12and we kept things on the down-low throughout the summer, one day,

0:09:12 > 0:09:15me and my sister and my mum went shopping in Llandudno,

0:09:15 > 0:09:19and we bumped into Jay on the off-chance.

0:09:19 > 0:09:22And you know when you see someone,

0:09:22 > 0:09:25you get that feeling in your stomach...

0:09:25 > 0:09:26Um, kind of, it was then

0:09:26 > 0:09:29that I thought, "Oh, wow, OK, I kind of like him."

0:09:29 > 0:09:31Oh!

0:09:31 > 0:09:34Yeah. And I never go shy, never.

0:09:34 > 0:09:36But I mean,

0:09:36 > 0:09:40- I was lost for words, I guess you could say.- Oh!

0:09:41 > 0:09:44Chloe's hen weekend,

0:09:44 > 0:09:48and family and friends gather for a game of It's A Knockout.

0:09:49 > 0:09:52It's all smiles now, but Sarah, Chloe's mum,

0:09:52 > 0:09:55did have her doubts when James first came on the scene.

0:09:55 > 0:09:58Um, my feelings when Chloe said about Jay,

0:09:58 > 0:10:01she'd mentioned him before she even said she was going out with him,

0:10:01 > 0:10:04just test the waters, because she knows what I'm like,

0:10:04 > 0:10:07and then she told me she was going out with him,

0:10:07 > 0:10:10and, no, I wasn't happy.

0:10:10 > 0:10:13Purely because to me, it was like,

0:10:13 > 0:10:16Chloe, you know, he is a dwarf,

0:10:16 > 0:10:19you're not suited, and everything else.

0:10:23 > 0:10:25But then, as I got to know him,

0:10:25 > 0:10:29it's just sort of... You look at Jay and you just see Jay,

0:10:29 > 0:10:31you don't see anything else.

0:10:31 > 0:10:35And it wasn't just with him being a dwarf.

0:10:35 > 0:10:37I suppose I'm like that with any of my daughters.

0:10:37 > 0:10:40But that just made it a little bit more harder.

0:10:40 > 0:10:42CHEERING

0:10:44 > 0:10:47The guys are just going to have a go themselves.

0:10:54 > 0:10:57Society may judge James as being different,

0:10:57 > 0:10:59but to his mates on his stag weekend,

0:10:59 > 0:11:01he's just one of the lads.

0:11:01 > 0:11:05This is so politically incorrect right now!

0:11:06 > 0:11:08Right a bit. Left.

0:11:08 > 0:11:11- James! Left!- Right a bit!

0:11:11 > 0:11:14- He's the captain of the ship. - Aye.

0:11:15 > 0:11:19Today marks, actually, the four-year anniversary

0:11:19 > 0:11:23of the day that I carried the Olympic torch for London 2012.

0:11:24 > 0:11:27It was an incredible day.

0:11:27 > 0:11:29Not just for the reason of carrying the Olympic torch,

0:11:29 > 0:11:31but it was also the day that I met Chloe properly.

0:11:32 > 0:11:35I'd seen her around and, you know, said hello,

0:11:35 > 0:11:40but I wasn't officially introduced to her through... until that day,

0:11:40 > 0:11:43and that's why we're here this weekend, you know.

0:11:43 > 0:11:45I'm on a stag do because I'm getting married to her.

0:11:45 > 0:11:49And she's my world, and I'm so excited.

0:11:54 > 0:11:57With the wedding day looming, it's all hands on deck

0:11:57 > 0:12:01as family and friends help out with the preparations.

0:12:01 > 0:12:05Brother Phil is on invites and seating plan duties.

0:12:05 > 0:12:06You may kiss the bride.

0:12:07 > 0:12:10The first marital kiss has been rehearsed

0:12:10 > 0:12:13and the bride and groom are out shopping.

0:12:13 > 0:12:14What do you think, Mum?

0:12:14 > 0:12:17Chloe has found her perfect dress...

0:12:17 > 0:12:19That looks very pretty.

0:12:21 > 0:12:24..while James needs a more specialist approach.

0:12:24 > 0:12:27So he's off to see his grandma - or nain, in Welsh.

0:12:32 > 0:12:34OK, Nain?

0:12:34 > 0:12:36Yeah, OK.

0:12:36 > 0:12:37- Yeah.- There we are.

0:12:37 > 0:12:41- Sleeves.- Wow, this is big.

0:12:41 > 0:12:43Well, you can work your magic on it.

0:12:43 > 0:12:45I'll have to!

0:12:45 > 0:12:47The support of their grandparents

0:12:47 > 0:12:50has been invaluable for James and Phil,

0:12:50 > 0:12:54as they had to spend long periods of time in hospital having various

0:12:54 > 0:12:57complex treatments when they were very young.

0:12:57 > 0:13:01I had a cleft palate that needed to be fixed,

0:13:01 > 0:13:04I had various wires coming out of my mouth

0:13:04 > 0:13:06for a couple of months.

0:13:06 > 0:13:10It didn't look very nice, but it had to be done.

0:13:10 > 0:13:14Operations on my back, my spine.

0:13:14 > 0:13:16- There we go.- There we are, James.

0:13:16 > 0:13:19- Cutting the fibre. - I'll do the operation now!

0:13:19 > 0:13:23Among the conditions that needed to be corrected were Phil and James's

0:13:23 > 0:13:29inward-turning feet, which would make walking almost impossible.

0:13:29 > 0:13:32Phil and I have had club feet, and when we were born, we were put...

0:13:32 > 0:13:35our feet into casts to straighten them out,

0:13:35 > 0:13:38but my feet didn't always stay.

0:13:38 > 0:13:41So as I was growing, they kept turning in, further in.

0:13:42 > 0:13:44So my club feet were coming back.

0:13:44 > 0:13:48And my knees weren't doing good, so they weren't aligned correctly.

0:13:48 > 0:13:53Therefore my feet were changing, so I'd walk on the balls of my feet

0:13:53 > 0:13:57and not flat, hence I have wedges on my shoes.

0:13:58 > 0:14:00How's that?

0:14:00 > 0:14:02Do you want it a bit longer than that?

0:14:02 > 0:14:05In order to give James the best chance of being able to walk,

0:14:05 > 0:14:08he needed to have his legs straightened,

0:14:08 > 0:14:12which meant wearing metal frames bolted into his bones.

0:14:12 > 0:14:14Dad Dave had the traumatic job

0:14:14 > 0:14:16of regularly turning the screws in his legs

0:14:16 > 0:14:20until the bones were gradually pushed into a better position.

0:14:20 > 0:14:22When one of the boys was in hospital,

0:14:22 > 0:14:25the other one would be staying at my mum's,

0:14:25 > 0:14:27because Dave was working.

0:14:27 > 0:14:32It was hard, because I was a long way from home and on my own,

0:14:32 > 0:14:36and having to watch the boys suffering.

0:14:38 > 0:14:43Dave would come every weekend, wouldn't you? But it was hard.

0:14:44 > 0:14:47- OK?- Yeah, I like the buttons. - Yeah, they're nice.

0:14:47 > 0:14:49And when I had my frames,

0:14:49 > 0:14:51I was so upset one day,

0:14:51 > 0:14:54Mum didn't know what to do and Mum was upset as well.

0:14:54 > 0:14:58And I thought, "Oh, if Mum can't help me, who can?"

0:14:58 > 0:15:01You know. Because as a child, Mum and Dad can do anything

0:15:01 > 0:15:03and do anything for you.

0:15:03 > 0:15:06And that was just... It really broke my heart.

0:15:07 > 0:15:11That Mum and Dad had been through so much, you know, for us.

0:15:11 > 0:15:12Well, I need to see it myself now,

0:15:12 > 0:15:15so you'll have to take a photo of me, because I want to see it on.

0:15:15 > 0:15:17Let me get my phone. Don't press it hard,

0:15:17 > 0:15:20otherwise we'll have a million photos!

0:15:21 > 0:15:24- OK?- OK.- Yeah.

0:15:24 > 0:15:26I think so. Try it.

0:15:32 > 0:15:35James and Chloe won't be moving into their new home

0:15:35 > 0:15:37until after the wedding -

0:15:37 > 0:15:40they are Christians and want to wait.

0:15:40 > 0:15:42You know, you need to get the bits out.

0:15:42 > 0:15:44- I know.- So we're having no sex before marriage.

0:15:44 > 0:15:46So I can't wait for the wedding night!

0:15:48 > 0:15:50Because we've had a long engagement!

0:15:50 > 0:15:52You being funny?

0:15:52 > 0:15:55- Great chopping, this!- I know!

0:15:58 > 0:16:00The wedding is supposed to finish about half 12, they say, but,

0:16:00 > 0:16:02ten o'clock, let's go!

0:16:04 > 0:16:07So, no, yeah, we're really excited about that.

0:16:09 > 0:16:13Phil and Kathleen met online through a mutual love of tattoos.

0:16:13 > 0:16:16And after chatting for several months,

0:16:16 > 0:16:20a nervous Phil flew out to meet her for the first time.

0:16:20 > 0:16:24Since then he's been travelling back and forth between Wales and Seattle

0:16:24 > 0:16:28and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

0:16:28 > 0:16:31She's enjoying her first visit to Wales

0:16:31 > 0:16:33and the couple are now engaged.

0:16:33 > 0:16:38Right now, we're at 199 days until the wedding.

0:16:38 > 0:16:41- Oh, my God!- Days?- Yeah.

0:16:41 > 0:16:45Like James, Phil is marrying an average-height girl.

0:16:45 > 0:16:48And although the height difference isn't causing them a problem,

0:16:48 > 0:16:52the geographical distance is a challenge, as Phil is still living mainly in

0:16:52 > 0:16:56North Wales, while Kathleen is happily settled in Seattle.

0:16:56 > 0:16:59There's a caterpillar!

0:16:59 > 0:17:02Phil will relocate to Seattle after the wedding,

0:17:02 > 0:17:07but until then they must endure long periods apart, which is never easy.

0:17:09 > 0:17:12I think with Skype and Facetime,

0:17:12 > 0:17:17we do really well without each other when we're not together, you know, physically.

0:17:17 > 0:17:222017 has been a blessing, because technology is in everything.

0:17:22 > 0:17:25We never stop talking and Phil's a night owl,

0:17:25 > 0:17:29so he ends up on my same schedule.

0:17:30 > 0:17:34And we're both working and that helps with things, doesn't it?

0:17:34 > 0:17:37And we're very supportive of each other when we are apart, you know.

0:17:37 > 0:17:40And I think that's helped me, personally, a lot.

0:17:41 > 0:17:44When they are finally able to live together,

0:17:44 > 0:17:49Phil will then be stepdad to Kathleen's two-year-old daughter Zelda,

0:17:49 > 0:17:52who he dotes on and talks to regularly on Skype.

0:17:52 > 0:17:55They talk every night.

0:17:55 > 0:17:57Every single night.

0:17:57 > 0:18:01Every time she sees me on Facetime, she gets excited.

0:18:01 > 0:18:03It really touches me, you know.

0:18:07 > 0:18:11And it means so much to me, you know, that she trusts me to be

0:18:11 > 0:18:14her future dad, if you like, pretty much.

0:18:16 > 0:18:18I'm so lucky.

0:18:21 > 0:18:24I love you.

0:18:31 > 0:18:32Want some?

0:18:32 > 0:18:35They are used to people staring at them,

0:18:35 > 0:18:39but some people's questions can be intrusive and rather persistent.

0:18:39 > 0:18:42Especially around matters of a personal nature.

0:18:42 > 0:18:44Well, they kept digging and digging,

0:18:44 > 0:18:50trying to get something that was different or interesting...

0:18:50 > 0:18:53- Sexual questions...- Unusual, yeah.

0:18:53 > 0:18:57And I just, I was kind of... I mean, I get it,

0:18:57 > 0:19:02I'll answer someone's question, no problem, because at the end of it,

0:19:02 > 0:19:07it was just, I don't know what you want to hear, because...

0:19:08 > 0:19:11..there's nothing unusual or different or anything.

0:19:11 > 0:19:13Would you like a strawberry, dear?

0:19:13 > 0:19:14SHE LAUGHS

0:19:14 > 0:19:16Yes, my love.

0:19:17 > 0:19:20I don't understand. Why would they ask anyone that,

0:19:20 > 0:19:23let alone someone because they think they are different?

0:19:23 > 0:19:27Why would that give them licence to ask that?

0:19:28 > 0:19:30Put it in your face.

0:19:30 > 0:19:33Although daughter Zelda keeps them both busy,

0:19:33 > 0:19:36they haven't ruled out providing her with a sibling one day.

0:19:37 > 0:19:40We've discussed it together, you know.

0:19:40 > 0:19:44And we also discussed things like what if it's a dwarf, you know.

0:19:44 > 0:19:48And we'll just treat the baby just like any baby, you know.

0:19:48 > 0:19:52- That's right.- It wouldn't come as a shock to us if it was.- Yeah.

0:19:54 > 0:19:56Strawberries! Bringing 'em.

0:20:03 > 0:20:05You're going to pull me down!

0:20:06 > 0:20:09It's the morning of James and Chloe's wedding

0:20:09 > 0:20:11and both bride and groom are

0:20:11 > 0:20:15ready to commit their lives to each other, for better or for worse.

0:20:15 > 0:20:17What time are you actually getting married?

0:20:17 > 0:20:1912.

0:20:19 > 0:20:22OK, so Jay put a status saying, "Today I'm getting married

0:20:22 > 0:20:23"to my beautiful Chloe.

0:20:23 > 0:20:26"I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with her."

0:20:26 > 0:20:28#WeddingBells, #JayWedsChloe.

0:20:30 > 0:20:31That's nice.

0:20:34 > 0:20:36So how are you feeling, Dave?

0:20:36 > 0:20:37Yeah, really good, thanks.

0:20:37 > 0:20:39Really good. Looking forward to the day.

0:20:41 > 0:20:44Looking forward to see James and Chloe getting married,

0:20:44 > 0:20:45and moving on in their own lives.

0:20:47 > 0:20:49- Um...- And getting the house back to yourself!

0:20:49 > 0:20:51The house back to myself, yeah!

0:20:51 > 0:20:53Do you want your bacon butty, James?

0:20:53 > 0:20:56Dave and Dawn have had to face many more challenges

0:20:56 > 0:20:58than your average couple.

0:20:58 > 0:21:01And the pressure of bringing up Phil and James proved such

0:21:01 > 0:21:06a strain at times that the marriage almost hit crisis point for Dave.

0:21:06 > 0:21:10When I look back on things we've had to deal with, stress,

0:21:10 > 0:21:13trying to get things for Philip and James,

0:21:13 > 0:21:16at one point in my life, there was a point where...

0:21:22 > 0:21:25..where I could turn around and say, and be quite honest about it,

0:21:25 > 0:21:27I could have walked away.

0:21:33 > 0:21:36'Give our love to Chloe.'

0:21:36 > 0:21:39Everything we were trying to do for Philip and James,

0:21:39 > 0:21:41and to help ourselves,

0:21:41 > 0:21:45we felt everything was being thrown back at us, because we always felt

0:21:45 > 0:21:48that, as much as we were fighting for things,

0:21:48 > 0:21:51people weren't seeing the problem we had as a family.

0:21:51 > 0:21:54- Thank you very much.- OK.

0:21:54 > 0:21:55'So those were hard times.

0:21:55 > 0:22:01'But you had to keep working at it to get through that and

0:22:01 > 0:22:03'keep going, you know.

0:22:03 > 0:22:05'We've been able to be there

0:22:05 > 0:22:08'for each other through the difficult times,

0:22:08 > 0:22:10'and I think that has bonded us more.'

0:22:26 > 0:22:30I tell myself I'm not going to cry, so I'm going to try to keep to that.

0:22:30 > 0:22:33I think I'm just going to be overwhelmed with happiness.

0:22:36 > 0:22:39I've bet with him that he's going to cry.

0:22:39 > 0:22:41He says he's not going to cry. I'm sure he's going to cry.

0:22:41 > 0:22:43It wouldn't be Jay if he does not cry.

0:22:46 > 0:22:50'I think more than anything, he's just going to be excited.

0:22:50 > 0:22:52'He won't be able to stand still.'

0:22:56 > 0:22:59- That's yours.- Thank you.

0:23:00 > 0:23:02- I'm ready!- Oh!

0:23:04 > 0:23:07Very smart. Ah, you look wonderful.

0:23:10 > 0:23:12Yeah.

0:23:12 > 0:23:14Um... I think it's just hit me.

0:23:15 > 0:23:17Having a little bit of a moment here.

0:23:17 > 0:23:20I didn't think I would get that emotional so soon.

0:23:20 > 0:23:22- Oh.- Want to sit down?

0:23:32 > 0:23:34Yeah.

0:23:34 > 0:23:36It's a really big day, isn't it, James?

0:23:36 > 0:23:38It's a massive day. And it's just so...

0:23:41 > 0:23:44How am I going to get through this speech? I don't know.

0:23:44 > 0:23:48But, yeah. I just can't believe I'm getting married.

0:23:48 > 0:23:49It's something that...

0:23:49 > 0:23:53I never really thought I would marry, you know, and...

0:23:54 > 0:23:57..I love it that Chloe has accepted me for who I am.

0:23:59 > 0:24:02And, er... Yeah.

0:24:02 > 0:24:03Yeah.

0:24:24 > 0:24:26'but I don't think so.

0:24:33 > 0:24:35'Marriage is a sacred thing.

0:24:37 > 0:24:40'And in that case, I don't believe it is just a piece of paper.

0:24:44 > 0:24:49'It's the way I was brought up, and the same for you, really.

0:24:49 > 0:24:55'So I suppose it's... it's just the way that we've brought them up.'

0:24:55 > 0:24:57Told you you'd cry!

0:25:01 > 0:25:02You look incredible.

0:25:10 > 0:25:11I, James...
