0:00:05 > 0:00:09- COMMENTATOR:- On his very last appearance in international rugby,

0:00:09 > 0:00:13Shane Williams will lead Wales out onto the Millennium Stadium.

0:00:15 > 0:00:18I remember coming out on my final game thinking,

0:00:18 > 0:00:21"I'm not going to have this again.

0:00:21 > 0:00:22"I'm not going to go out to the stadium

0:00:22 > 0:00:24"and have the whole crowd standing up

0:00:24 > 0:00:28"and singing the anthem and chanting our names."

0:00:29 > 0:00:32That was almost as sad as realising that I was giving up rugby.

0:00:36 > 0:00:38December 2011,

0:00:38 > 0:00:41Wales against Australia at the Millennium Stadium,

0:00:41 > 0:00:43and all eyes are on Shane Williams.

0:00:46 > 0:00:48They have come to say goodbye to a favourite son,

0:00:48 > 0:00:51every one of them willing the mercurial winger

0:00:51 > 0:00:53to score a final try and sign off in style.

0:00:57 > 0:00:59In the last seconds of his last game for Wales,

0:00:59 > 0:01:02and with his very last touch of the ball,

0:01:02 > 0:01:04he delivers the fairy-tale ending.

0:01:04 > 0:01:06Williams! He's going to do it!

0:01:06 > 0:01:09He's going to go out with a flourish.

0:01:09 > 0:01:12Last game, last try.

0:01:12 > 0:01:15Shane Williams, off in style.

0:01:21 > 0:01:25And it's goodbye to the Welsh stage

0:01:25 > 0:01:27for Shane Williams.

0:01:28 > 0:01:31How much has it meant to you to wear this jersey?

0:01:31 > 0:01:34It's meant everything. That's the only thing you want to do

0:01:34 > 0:01:35when you play in Wales.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38I have been very privileged and lucky to have had the chance.

0:01:38 > 0:01:41I've had the best time of my life.

0:01:55 > 0:01:57Shane ended his career in 2015,

0:01:57 > 0:02:00playing in Japan for the Mitsubishi Dynaboars.

0:02:01 > 0:02:03Now home in the Amman Valley,

0:02:03 > 0:02:06he has had to adapt to a life outside of the game.

0:02:08 > 0:02:11I had to start again. Completely bizarre.

0:02:11 > 0:02:14I get up on a Monday morning and I've got absolutely nothing to do.

0:02:14 > 0:02:16Roly-poly!

0:02:16 > 0:02:18I decided then, "Right, OK. I've got to do something."

0:02:20 > 0:02:22When rugby is all you've known,

0:02:22 > 0:02:24how do you replace the rush of competitive sport?

0:02:28 > 0:02:30He's strong, isn't he?

0:02:30 > 0:02:32Can you put it, "to Shane, lots of love."

0:02:33 > 0:02:35Looking very handsome.

0:02:35 > 0:02:39You'd spend your whole life trying to chase it again.

0:02:39 > 0:02:42So you've to go and find something else that floats your boat.

0:02:42 > 0:02:46I tried my best to retire, tried my best to give it up completely

0:02:46 > 0:02:48and I just couldn't do it...

0:02:48 > 0:02:51Oh, it feels awesome. Sorry, I had a whack in the chops.

0:02:51 > 0:02:53..and that's why I'm back.

0:03:07 > 0:03:08When his rugby career ended,

0:03:08 > 0:03:11Shane returned to his home in the Amman Valley

0:03:11 > 0:03:13and the routines of family life.

0:03:13 > 0:03:16I'm not a celeb dad at the school gates, because everyone knows me.

0:03:16 > 0:03:18I've grown up in this area.

0:03:18 > 0:03:23I played rugby up in Brynamman, in the school where the kids go.

0:03:23 > 0:03:26It is great for me to have the opportunity to pick them up.

0:03:26 > 0:03:28I've been in Japan for the last three years

0:03:28 > 0:03:30and I've missed out a little bit on the kids growing up

0:03:30 > 0:03:33and I've been the dad who comes and

0:03:33 > 0:03:36gets involved in sports days and comes to pick the kids up

0:03:36 > 0:03:38and so on, so I'm enjoying it.

0:03:39 > 0:03:41- Hi!- Hey, boy, all right?

0:03:47 > 0:03:52Apart from Japan, we've never really strayed anywhere.

0:03:52 > 0:03:56We tried them in school out there but there was very little English.

0:03:56 > 0:04:00We just struggled, especially when he went away for the weekend playing

0:04:00 > 0:04:03and then we'd have an earthquake and I just...

0:04:03 > 0:04:06Yeah, I felt lonely, I think.

0:04:06 > 0:04:08Rock, paper, scissors, shoot.

0:04:08 > 0:04:10Rock, paper, scissors, shoot.

0:04:11 > 0:04:14Hold on. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot.

0:04:14 > 0:04:16That is 2-0. See ya. Get in goal.

0:04:16 > 0:04:18Ready?

0:04:20 > 0:04:23God, every time I used to come home from Japan,

0:04:23 > 0:04:25Georgie was an inch taller.

0:04:25 > 0:04:28Carter's face, facial expressions and his face was changing.

0:04:28 > 0:04:30And I just found it really bizarre

0:04:30 > 0:04:33and I felt like every time I came home, it was taking a while for us

0:04:33 > 0:04:35to get to know each other again.

0:04:35 > 0:04:37You kicked that, not me!

0:04:37 > 0:04:38Header, Georgie. Header!

0:04:41 > 0:04:44When I was growing up, my father was a long-distance lorry driver

0:04:44 > 0:04:48so I'd perhaps see him two or three times a month.

0:04:48 > 0:04:50And when he was coming home, he was tired.

0:04:50 > 0:04:54I didn't want the kids to miss me all the time either.

0:04:54 > 0:04:56Georgie, if you open your mouth any more,

0:04:56 > 0:04:57you're going to swallow the ball.

0:04:57 > 0:05:01But now...I took the kids to school this morning.

0:05:01 > 0:05:02Carter's got rugby training tomorrow.

0:05:02 > 0:05:06Georgie's going up to do the horses and I can be there for that now.

0:05:06 > 0:05:08So it's nice that I can manage my time

0:05:08 > 0:05:11and I can spend a bit more time with them.

0:05:12 > 0:05:16I'm glad the whole rugby fame thing is over

0:05:16 > 0:05:18so we can settle down to a quieter life.

0:05:25 > 0:05:30Shane was born in Morriston Hospital, Swansea, in 1977.

0:05:30 > 0:05:32The first thing I remember is rugby.

0:05:34 > 0:05:36And obviously when my brother came along,

0:05:36 > 0:05:38I kind of roped him into it as well.

0:05:38 > 0:05:43Growing up, we kind of just got into rugby through school.

0:05:43 > 0:05:47Fell in love with it and just kept doing it because we enjoyed it.

0:05:47 > 0:05:49- All right, cheers.- Thank you.

0:05:49 > 0:05:51It wasn't only rugby that blossomed in the Amman Valley.

0:05:54 > 0:05:58I lived in Glanamman, right down the bottom. You were up here.

0:05:58 > 0:06:01And I used to walk all the way up to the Half Moon

0:06:01 > 0:06:03and phone you from the bottom of the road

0:06:03 > 0:06:07because I didn't want to go up because I was scared of your father.

0:06:07 > 0:06:10THEY LAUGH

0:06:10 > 0:06:11You had to chase me for ages.

0:06:11 > 0:06:14- I didn't have to chase you for ages! - It was, like,

0:06:14 > 0:06:15'96 by the time I went out with you.

0:06:15 > 0:06:19He was so shy, weren't you?

0:06:19 > 0:06:21I was playing hard to get. I didn't want to chase you too much.

0:06:21 > 0:06:24And you looked really young. I thought you were about 14.

0:06:26 > 0:06:28Yeah. Pulled you the first night I met you, so...

0:06:28 > 0:06:30Pulled me?!

0:06:30 > 0:06:31As they say.

0:06:31 > 0:06:33- SOFTLY:- Disgusting.

0:06:38 > 0:06:43Shane and Gail married on December 23rd 2005.

0:06:43 > 0:06:46The good thing with Gail is that she doesn't really care

0:06:46 > 0:06:47that I was a rugby player.

0:06:47 > 0:06:50She doesn't really care what I've achieved.

0:06:50 > 0:06:54You know, I'd come home and we'd have won our Six Nations match

0:06:54 > 0:06:57and Gail would be like, "How did it go today? Did you win?"

0:06:57 > 0:07:00I'm thinking, "You are probably the only person in Wales

0:07:00 > 0:07:03"that doesn't know the result of today's match."

0:07:03 > 0:07:07- So are you going to play golf with me or...?- No.

0:07:07 > 0:07:10Where are you going to find time to play golf?

0:07:10 > 0:07:13How are you going to fit that in with Loose Women,

0:07:13 > 0:07:17Housewives Of New York and...what else is there?

0:07:17 > 0:07:18- Kardashians.- Kardashians.

0:07:18 > 0:07:21- How are you going to fit that in with golf?- Shut up.

0:07:24 > 0:07:25Right.

0:07:30 > 0:07:34Although Shane's days as a professional player are over...

0:07:35 > 0:07:39..rugby still offers up opportunities as a pundit.

0:07:39 > 0:07:43This is what I'm going to be doing from now on, so I get excited

0:07:43 > 0:07:46to do this because I know that I'm not going to be playing today.

0:07:46 > 0:07:49It's match day. Any excuse, really, to come to a Welsh match.

0:07:49 > 0:07:51I am there.

0:07:51 > 0:07:54Shane Williams!

0:07:55 > 0:07:58We don't take the Japanese lightly. I think Wales did that last time.

0:07:58 > 0:08:01They're a very good side and they will want to play some rugby.

0:08:01 > 0:08:03They've got a point to prove today as well.

0:08:03 > 0:08:04And Wales, I think, will know that

0:08:04 > 0:08:07and that's why they've got the experience, plus the youngsters.

0:08:10 > 0:08:12The line that's separating us at the moment

0:08:12 > 0:08:15from the pitch is a sacred place.

0:08:16 > 0:08:19You know, I can't just get on that field when I want.

0:08:19 > 0:08:21Everything I've achieved and everything I've done,

0:08:21 > 0:08:25good and bad, I suppose, has been on that side of the grass.

0:08:30 > 0:08:34For me, rugby has been my life and I miss it, I miss it terribly.

0:08:34 > 0:08:36You know, I miss playing in the Millennium Stadium.

0:08:36 > 0:08:39I miss changing in the changing rooms with the lads before the game,

0:08:39 > 0:08:41didn't matter what game it is.

0:08:41 > 0:08:44It's simple, you don't get it back.

0:08:44 > 0:08:48You don't and I'll never get it back and I realise that

0:08:48 > 0:08:52and I kind of appreciate it... what it was, now, a lot more.

0:08:54 > 0:08:55Alex Cuthbert in pursuit.

0:08:55 > 0:08:57- Alex Cuthbert is going to score!- Oh!

0:08:57 > 0:08:59- Loses it!- Oh!

0:09:02 > 0:09:05If he'd have put his foot down straight away...

0:09:05 > 0:09:08- VOICE OVER:- One of the things I found really hard when I started

0:09:08 > 0:09:10was speaking about the guys you played rugby with,

0:09:10 > 0:09:12trying to be positive all the time,

0:09:12 > 0:09:13because even your mates make mistakes

0:09:13 > 0:09:16and you've got to speak about them and how they performed on the field

0:09:16 > 0:09:18and sometimes they don't play well.

0:09:18 > 0:09:22They hate to hear it, and I hated to hear it, but it does happen.

0:09:22 > 0:09:26So there's a fine line between, you know, criticising

0:09:26 > 0:09:29and being a bit positive, how you speak about these guys.

0:09:29 > 0:09:30And I find that really difficult.

0:09:36 > 0:09:39When I got on the rugby field, I was a different animal.

0:09:39 > 0:09:42You know? I wanted to express myself, I wanted to show off.

0:09:42 > 0:09:44I became a showman, I suppose.

0:09:44 > 0:09:47Without rugby, I would be a completely different person.

0:09:53 > 0:09:55The TV career is a side-line for Shane.

0:09:55 > 0:09:59His day-to-day job is working alongside Gail in the family firm,

0:09:59 > 0:10:02an animal feed and heating oil business based in the village.

0:10:03 > 0:10:05- Morning.- Morning.

0:10:08 > 0:10:11I started up with my brother-in-law Andrew

0:10:11 > 0:10:13and my father-in-law Sean.

0:10:13 > 0:10:16We've got Craig. Obviously, Gail heavily involved.

0:10:16 > 0:10:19When I tell people that I have an oil company,

0:10:19 > 0:10:21I think they assume that I've struck oil in the Amman Valley

0:10:21 > 0:10:25and it's under my house somewhere. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

0:10:25 > 0:10:27Oh, yeah, Shane does a lot in the business,

0:10:27 > 0:10:29gets his hands really dirty.

0:10:29 > 0:10:32Picking pens up, especially if they're leaking,

0:10:32 > 0:10:34that will be really dirty, and telephones,

0:10:34 > 0:10:37you can have really dirty telephones.

0:10:41 > 0:10:43In a nutshell, it's delivering oil

0:10:43 > 0:10:47to local housing estates, local houses.

0:10:47 > 0:10:49It's the same as a rugby team, I suppose -

0:10:49 > 0:10:51if one person doesn't chip in on the field,

0:10:51 > 0:10:53it can affect the whole team, really,

0:10:53 > 0:10:55and that's why we work well together here.

0:10:55 > 0:10:57Gail, are you going to pick up your kids?

0:10:57 > 0:11:00- You're a hell of a- BLEEP- today. He's...

0:11:00 > 0:11:02There's no food for you tonight, I'm telling you now.

0:11:02 > 0:11:04HE LAUGHS

0:11:04 > 0:11:07We're kind of all on the journey together, if you like.

0:11:07 > 0:11:09And, for Shane, I think he's happy to have something to do.

0:11:09 > 0:11:11It's perfect really - I don't have to clock in,

0:11:11 > 0:11:14I don't have to clock out. I can manage it myself.

0:11:20 > 0:11:24Shane started playing rugby for Amman United in 1998

0:11:24 > 0:11:27and within a few months he was spotted by Neath,

0:11:27 > 0:11:30who offered him £7,500 a year to play for them.

0:11:32 > 0:11:35There's players there that would snap me in half

0:11:35 > 0:11:37if they got hold of me - what am I doing here?

0:11:37 > 0:11:41I was quick, I was agile, went out on the field, expressed myself.

0:11:42 > 0:11:44And it kind of worked for me, really.

0:11:44 > 0:11:46CHEERING

0:11:48 > 0:11:50WHISTLE BLOWS

0:11:58 > 0:12:03His dynamic style led to a call-up to the Welsh team in February 2000.

0:12:03 > 0:12:06Well, we've heard a lot about this lad.

0:12:06 > 0:12:10He's just 22 years old and he gets his first cap,

0:12:10 > 0:12:11that's out of the Neath club

0:12:11 > 0:12:13so they'll be thrilled down at the Gnoll about that.

0:12:13 > 0:12:16Shane had gone from playing for his village club

0:12:16 > 0:12:21to getting his first international cap in just 18 months.

0:12:23 > 0:12:26In his second game for Wales, he scored.

0:12:26 > 0:12:28The little pass to Taylor.

0:12:28 > 0:12:31Shane Williams. What a dream.

0:12:32 > 0:12:36And he's raised the roof in the Amman Valley.

0:12:36 > 0:12:39And Wales have a new hero.

0:12:40 > 0:12:43It was the first of 58 tries for his country

0:12:43 > 0:12:46and the start of a legendary run in the red shirt.

0:12:54 > 0:12:58It's not easy for any sportsman to give up.

0:12:58 > 0:13:00There's a fork in the road when you've retired,

0:13:00 > 0:13:03and the easiest one is to stay in rugby, become a coach.

0:13:03 > 0:13:07And there's the other direction, you completely move away from rugby.

0:13:08 > 0:13:11If he was to enjoy retirement, Shane would need a new challenge.

0:13:14 > 0:13:16I did the London Marathon for charity.

0:13:16 > 0:13:18When someone said, "You've got to run 26 miles,"

0:13:18 > 0:13:20I thought, "This is not going to happen.

0:13:20 > 0:13:22"It's going to take me a day to do this,"

0:13:22 > 0:13:24because my background was sprinting.

0:13:24 > 0:13:27And I remember thinking, "I'm never going to be able to do this."

0:13:27 > 0:13:29The other side of me was also saying,

0:13:29 > 0:13:32"It's a hell of a challenge if you do actually do this."

0:13:32 > 0:13:34CAR HORN TOOTS

0:13:34 > 0:13:37Then after that, a friend of mine asked me if I would like to do

0:13:37 > 0:13:39a triathlon for his charity,

0:13:39 > 0:13:42and I just kind of agreed to it after a pint

0:13:42 > 0:13:44and didn't think anything of it.

0:13:48 > 0:13:51It was only a few weeks later when Shane went online

0:13:51 > 0:13:55that he realised what he had actually signed up for.

0:13:55 > 0:13:591.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike

0:13:59 > 0:14:02and then a half-marathon to finish.

0:14:02 > 0:14:06I really thought, "Jesus, what have I done now? This is ridiculous."

0:14:06 > 0:14:09It does take over our life a bit when he's training

0:14:09 > 0:14:14because he does put 100% effort into everything he does, you know.

0:14:15 > 0:14:18It's all about just enjoying the experience of triathlons.

0:14:18 > 0:14:22I'm not going to be a rugby player ever again. Those days are gone.

0:14:28 > 0:14:30Shane might have swapped rugby for triathlons,

0:14:30 > 0:14:33but there is still one member of the Williams family

0:14:33 > 0:14:34keen to pull on some rugby boots -

0:14:34 > 0:14:36Shane's son, Carter.

0:14:36 > 0:14:39Follow him! Follow him!

0:14:39 > 0:14:41Hands up, Carter. Carter, go on the outside, boy.

0:14:41 > 0:14:44You're going through the middle, everyone's in the middle.

0:14:44 > 0:14:47I've gone on the field to help him with the coaching side of it

0:14:47 > 0:14:50and he's ushered me to the side and told me, "Dad, you've had your time,

0:14:50 > 0:14:53"now this is my time." So I realised then, OK,

0:14:53 > 0:14:55I'm going to have no influence on this guy whatsoever

0:14:55 > 0:14:56when it comes to rugby.

0:14:56 > 0:14:58Roly-poly.

0:14:58 > 0:15:00Pop if you want. Good boy.

0:15:00 > 0:15:01That's it.

0:15:01 > 0:15:02Spending time with Carter,

0:15:02 > 0:15:05teaching him to kick with his left foot because he's all right foot

0:15:05 > 0:15:06or showing him how to pass both ways

0:15:06 > 0:15:08rather than only being able to pass one way,

0:15:08 > 0:15:11getting him to learn how to tackle,

0:15:11 > 0:15:13cos he hasn't played tackle until this year.

0:15:13 > 0:15:15The little things, just learning the personalities.

0:15:15 > 0:15:18When you're away for six months of the year and you come back,

0:15:18 > 0:15:19and you're spending time with kids,

0:15:19 > 0:15:22you feel like you're kind of learning all over again.

0:15:22 > 0:15:24Good running, boy. Don't worry. Have a break.

0:15:26 > 0:15:29I think he is in for a bit of a rough ride, really.

0:15:29 > 0:15:32They'll be comparing him to Shane I think, so...

0:15:34 > 0:15:37They already talk about, "Oh, has he got your step, is he quick?

0:15:37 > 0:15:38"Can he do this?" And whatever.

0:15:38 > 0:15:42And I'm thinking, I hope he doesn't get this all the way through school.

0:15:42 > 0:15:45Go on, straight. Carter, get ready!

0:15:45 > 0:15:47I'm not going to be one of these dads that is going to push them.

0:15:47 > 0:15:49I'm not a competitive dad.

0:15:49 > 0:15:51Carter!

0:15:51 > 0:15:52WHISTLE BLOWS

0:15:52 > 0:15:54Well done, good game.

0:15:54 > 0:15:55Well done, boy. Good game.

0:15:55 > 0:15:57Well done, Carter.

0:15:57 > 0:15:59Good try, boy.

0:16:04 > 0:16:06With rugby training done for today,

0:16:06 > 0:16:09it's time for Shane to get some coaching of his own -

0:16:09 > 0:16:11in the art of refuelling.

0:16:11 > 0:16:14Don't put the heating too high now or I'll be sleeping.

0:16:15 > 0:16:17Not with all the work you've got.

0:16:18 > 0:16:21I've been out a couple of times in the lorry,

0:16:21 > 0:16:24it's not my main job, but it's good fun as well.

0:16:24 > 0:16:27It's a good way of meeting existing clients

0:16:27 > 0:16:29and making sure everybody is happy as well,

0:16:29 > 0:16:32because we want to keep them, at the end of the day.

0:16:32 > 0:16:35We started off with one truck with a 1,000-litre tank.

0:16:35 > 0:16:39Within four years, we've got five or six trucks on the road.

0:16:40 > 0:16:44For me, personally, it's about competing against the big lads,

0:16:44 > 0:16:47the big boys. We're a small fish in a big pond

0:16:47 > 0:16:50and we're really holding our own. I enjoy that.

0:16:52 > 0:16:55- Is it pumping?- I've got to reach first, I am only small.

0:16:56 > 0:17:00Having Shane along has been rather hectic because he's a bit too fast.

0:17:00 > 0:17:02I don't normally go that fast.

0:17:02 > 0:17:05- Another one bites the dust. - There you are.

0:17:05 > 0:17:07- All right?- Another one done.

0:17:08 > 0:17:11At work, Shane is one of the boys.

0:17:11 > 0:17:15His customers, however, can still get starstruck.

0:17:15 > 0:17:17That's Clem, I'm Shane. Nice to meet you.

0:17:17 > 0:17:19I know! It's lovely to meet you, Shane.

0:17:19 > 0:17:21What I will do with the company is,

0:17:21 > 0:17:23obviously I meet and greet customers.

0:17:23 > 0:17:26I saw your picture with Dan Lydiate and Jamie Roberts

0:17:26 > 0:17:28so it's nice to have a picture with someone your own size.

0:17:28 > 0:17:32- That's true.- I go to people's houses who've been with us for some time,

0:17:32 > 0:17:34and have a coffee and have a chat.

0:17:34 > 0:17:36And I love that more than anything else, really.

0:17:36 > 0:17:40- Just sign there, please.- Thank you. - Put it "to Shane, lots of love".

0:17:42 > 0:17:43He is one of my heroes.

0:17:43 > 0:17:45What can you say when you meet a hero?

0:17:45 > 0:17:48You don't often get a chance to meet somebody like that,

0:17:48 > 0:17:50especially if you're a Welsh rugby fanatic.

0:17:50 > 0:17:52- Take care.- Cheers, Shane.- Ta-ra.

0:18:02 > 0:18:04After months of punishing endurance training,

0:18:04 > 0:18:06and not a rugby ball in sight,

0:18:06 > 0:18:09it's time for Shane to tackle this next challenge -

0:18:09 > 0:18:11the Ocean Lava Triathlon.

0:18:11 > 0:18:14- Good morning, you all right? - Yeah, good.- We meet again.

0:18:14 > 0:18:16Yes, I'm back.

0:18:16 > 0:18:18Doing the middle distance, Shane, yeah?

0:18:18 > 0:18:23- Middle distance.- As in...- Oh, sorry, yeah. Sorry, I'm new to this game.

0:18:25 > 0:18:28My brother's doing it and I've managed to rope Brian Jones in.

0:18:28 > 0:18:29Ian Gough is doing it.

0:18:29 > 0:18:33Plus a couple of other ex-players that have been there, done it.

0:18:33 > 0:18:36- Got the nerves?- Proper, proper nerves.

0:18:36 > 0:18:39Much worse than playing the All Blacks.

0:18:39 > 0:18:42I want to beat people. My brother's running, I want to beat my brother.

0:18:42 > 0:18:45He wants to beat me. And I can't help that, I'm sorry,

0:18:45 > 0:18:48that's ingrained inside me.

0:18:48 > 0:18:50The competitive edge may be familiar,

0:18:50 > 0:18:53but this event has taken Shane completely out of his comfort zone.

0:18:53 > 0:18:55The race is on, bring it on.

0:18:56 > 0:18:59When I was playing rugby, I was told exactly what I was eating,

0:18:59 > 0:19:02the drinks and everything was prepared for me

0:19:02 > 0:19:03and it was just about eat it

0:19:03 > 0:19:05and you become a better rugby player.

0:19:05 > 0:19:07Now I've got to fend for myself.

0:19:08 > 0:19:11And Shane's finding it all a bit of a challenge.

0:19:13 > 0:19:17Anyone selling bottles? I've left my bottle at home.

0:19:18 > 0:19:22It's a schoolboy error for the former international superstar.

0:19:22 > 0:19:25Luckily, other competitors are better prepared.

0:19:25 > 0:19:29Paul, I'm all right, boy. Diolch. Yeah.

0:19:29 > 0:19:32Just too many things to think about for a rugby player anyway.

0:19:34 > 0:19:38With the race about to start, the butterflies begin to kick in.

0:19:38 > 0:19:41Yeah, nerves setting in.

0:19:41 > 0:19:42It's always scary at the start,

0:19:42 > 0:19:45because the swimming is going to be tough, really.

0:19:45 > 0:19:48A lot of people swimming over the top of each other but...

0:19:51 > 0:19:55People like that as well probably swimming over the top of you.

0:19:55 > 0:19:57So it's not going to be fun, but, no, it is exciting.

0:19:57 > 0:19:59Can't wait for it to start now.

0:19:59 > 0:20:02I don't think he would have coped very well just retiring,

0:20:02 > 0:20:04doing nothing, not doing a sport,

0:20:04 > 0:20:07so I think this has saved him, in a way.

0:20:07 > 0:20:08HOOTER BLARES

0:20:10 > 0:20:13Retirement robbed Shane of the buzz of competition,

0:20:13 > 0:20:15of a goal to work towards.

0:20:15 > 0:20:19This is the closest he has got since giving up rugby.

0:20:19 > 0:20:22So many things go through your mind, "Am I going quick enough?

0:20:22 > 0:20:24"Is my brother ahead of me?"

0:20:24 > 0:20:27I found the swim the worst, to be honest.

0:20:27 > 0:20:29Couple of elbows going astray.

0:20:31 > 0:20:33But despite the pain,

0:20:33 > 0:20:37Shane is determined to cross the finish line ahead of his brother.

0:20:37 > 0:20:39Found the bike all right. Pushed a bit too hard.

0:20:42 > 0:20:45The first mile on the run, I felt like I was about 20st.

0:20:45 > 0:20:49It was really difficult. I had my brother right on my tail, as well.

0:20:49 > 0:20:51Secretly, yeah, competing against Shane.

0:20:51 > 0:20:54I beat him on the first race but that's about it now.

0:20:54 > 0:20:56I can't catch him.

0:20:58 > 0:21:02After five hours and 21 minutes, Shane crosses the line.

0:21:02 > 0:21:04There are no action replays,

0:21:04 > 0:21:07no fireworks, no crowds singing his name,

0:21:07 > 0:21:09but he does still have a team to celebrate with.

0:21:11 > 0:21:13- ALL:- Yay!

0:21:18 > 0:21:21One team, in particular, is very important to Shane.

0:21:23 > 0:21:25Rugby is massively ingrained in me.

0:21:25 > 0:21:29It's ingrained because of where I live, it's a massive rugby town.

0:21:29 > 0:21:32The rugby field and the rugby club itself -

0:21:32 > 0:21:34probably the heart of the whole valley.

0:21:37 > 0:21:41The triathlon was a test but it didn't fill the hole left by rugby.

0:21:41 > 0:21:44Little wonder that, despite his best efforts,

0:21:44 > 0:21:47he has been drawn back to the smell of the changing rooms

0:21:47 > 0:21:51and the roar of the crowd, albeit as a coach.

0:21:51 > 0:21:53What are we doing, boy?

0:21:53 > 0:21:54Amman struggled last year,

0:21:54 > 0:21:57I think the league was a little bit too strong for them.

0:21:57 > 0:21:59A couple of the older,

0:21:59 > 0:22:02more-experienced players had finished, so they have had a tough

0:22:02 > 0:22:04couple of seasons, really.

0:22:05 > 0:22:08Shane has been asked to help out the new coaching team of Karl and Tony,

0:22:08 > 0:22:12who are trying to revive Amman United's fortunes.

0:22:12 > 0:22:15We've come down to Division Three, back to a local league,

0:22:15 > 0:22:18which is good for us because of the crowds we get.

0:22:18 > 0:22:19And Shane, obviously, British Lion,

0:22:19 > 0:22:21should be doing well in Division Three.

0:22:21 > 0:22:23Concentrate on holding the ball.

0:22:23 > 0:22:25Right, no matter where it goes, just hold the ball.

0:22:25 > 0:22:27It didn't take much persuasion, to be honest.

0:22:27 > 0:22:30He's always been a valley boy, obviously. He loves the club.

0:22:30 > 0:22:33All his mates are playing here.

0:22:34 > 0:22:36I used to be captain of the Amman and I'd ask Shane,

0:22:36 > 0:22:38"Can you come down, do a session?"

0:22:38 > 0:22:40If training was at six o'clock,

0:22:40 > 0:22:42Shane would be there at half-past five, setting up.

0:22:42 > 0:22:44You would finish training at eight o'clock,

0:22:44 > 0:22:46he might stay there till half-past eight.

0:22:46 > 0:22:48That's his nature. His nature is, whatever he does,

0:22:48 > 0:22:51he will go that extra mile for you.

0:22:51 > 0:22:53I think we're having about 45 players training.

0:22:53 > 0:22:56You know, for a small, local club that's absolutely unbelievable.

0:22:56 > 0:22:59There is no denying it, with someone like Shane training, the youngsters

0:22:59 > 0:23:01are going to turn up, you know. So, yeah, fantastic.

0:23:12 > 0:23:15It's not only coaching Shane is trying his hand at.

0:23:15 > 0:23:18The rugby legend is about to host his first public-speaking event and

0:23:18 > 0:23:21is feeling a bit like a fish out of water.

0:23:21 > 0:23:25So he's turned to friend and actor Julian Lewis Jones for advice while

0:23:25 > 0:23:27shark-fishing in West Wales.

0:23:27 > 0:23:30Another first for Shane.

0:23:30 > 0:23:33Yeah, I'm dreading these awards I've got to do, it's hosting.

0:23:33 > 0:23:37- Have you done hosting before? - No. And it's in Merthyr.- And it's in Merthyr?- It's in Merthyr.

0:23:37 > 0:23:40- Tough crowd.- If you don't get it right there, you get accosted.

0:23:40 > 0:23:44Yeah. Exactly. My main sort of thing is just take your time.

0:23:44 > 0:23:48I'll give it a go. It's only now I'm getting to like public speaking.

0:23:48 > 0:23:52Yeah. It's like anything, the more you do it, the more relaxed you are.

0:23:52 > 0:23:54I suppose you've got to get the first one done, haven't you?

0:23:54 > 0:23:58- Yeah.- If you're going to do it, you've got to do it in Merthyr. - Exactly!

0:23:58 > 0:24:03Yeah. Remember, the first thing you say is, "Hello, Merthyr!"

0:24:03 > 0:24:05- Yeah, I will.- All right?- Yeah.

0:24:05 > 0:24:07That's a tip from the top, all right?

0:24:07 > 0:24:09- Hello, Merthyr.- Hello, Merthyr!

0:24:09 > 0:24:12I'll write that down.

0:24:12 > 0:24:16As the rookie on the trip, Shane has the job of preparing the shark bait,

0:24:16 > 0:24:19which means mashing up a lot of rotten fish.

0:24:21 > 0:24:23- That's it.- Ah, it just went!

0:24:23 > 0:24:25LAUGHTER

0:24:32 > 0:24:33HE COUGHS

0:24:36 > 0:24:38It's just relaxing, isn't it?

0:24:38 > 0:24:41Quite busy these days, and to come out for the whole day and just

0:24:41 > 0:24:45experience something like this, come out on the open water.

0:24:45 > 0:24:47I enjoy fishing anyway, as well.

0:24:47 > 0:24:50Good bunch of guys here doing it.

0:24:50 > 0:24:52It's a chance for me to relax.

0:24:54 > 0:24:57That's it. Yes, yes, yes.

0:24:57 > 0:25:00Fishing for sharks is a welcome distraction from the worry of

0:25:00 > 0:25:03- speaking in public.- At least a 66.

0:25:09 > 0:25:11I can't lift it up!

0:25:11 > 0:25:13Where am I lifting it to?

0:25:13 > 0:25:15- He's strong, isn't he?- Yeah.

0:25:18 > 0:25:19That was unreal.

0:25:19 > 0:25:22It is great that we can catch these animals and put them back.

0:25:22 > 0:25:24There is no harm there.

0:25:24 > 0:25:26But just stunning, simply stunning.

0:25:27 > 0:25:30THEY WHOOP

0:25:35 > 0:25:37- Right. Let's head for home. - Let's go.

0:25:45 > 0:25:47One week after facing sharks off the Welsh coast,

0:25:47 > 0:25:50Shane is pitched into a much more frightening scenario.

0:25:54 > 0:25:56Nervous is an understatement.

0:25:56 > 0:25:58I have never done anything like this before.

0:25:58 > 0:26:01Actually having a whole night revolve around you

0:26:01 > 0:26:04is quite scary.

0:26:05 > 0:26:07So I am kind of thrown into the lions' den at the moment.

0:26:07 > 0:26:10I know that there's a lot of women here tonight as well, which makes it

0:26:10 > 0:26:13even more daunting. I just hope they are gentle with me.

0:26:13 > 0:26:16That's why we call him Shane Willybumps.

0:26:16 > 0:26:17Why do they call him that?

0:26:17 > 0:26:19Have a look.

0:26:21 > 0:26:23Very handsome. Thank you very much.

0:26:23 > 0:26:27- All right.- I'll put it on Facebook straightaway.

0:26:27 > 0:26:28Is it on?

0:26:31 > 0:26:33Hello. Hello.

0:26:33 > 0:26:35Hello. Good evening.

0:26:35 > 0:26:38I suppose there's a number of reasons I was invited.

0:26:38 > 0:26:42I have done a lot of work in Merthyr before and I think I am the only

0:26:42 > 0:26:45rugby player that fits under this tent here so...

0:26:45 > 0:26:47LAUGHTER

0:26:48 > 0:26:532008, Grand Slam year, we were playing France, and my phone goes,

0:26:53 > 0:26:56just as we are going to turn right into the Millennium Stadium.

0:26:56 > 0:26:58I pick it up. "All right, Dad?"

0:26:58 > 0:27:00"How's it going? What are you up to?"

0:27:01 > 0:27:06I'm like, "Dad, I'm actually a little bit busy at the moment.

0:27:06 > 0:27:08"I'm just about to play France in a Grand Slam decider

0:27:08 > 0:27:10"at the Millennium Stadium."

0:27:10 > 0:27:13"Oh, yeah, yeah, no problem." I'm just about to put the phone down,

0:27:13 > 0:27:15he goes, "Whoa, whoa, whoa.

0:27:15 > 0:27:17"Do you know, if you score today..."

0:27:17 > 0:27:19LAUGHTER

0:27:19 > 0:27:21"..I win £50,000?"

0:27:21 > 0:27:23LAUGHTER

0:27:23 > 0:27:24I've felt this pressure before,

0:27:24 > 0:27:26so hopefully tonight is going to go swimmingly.

0:27:28 > 0:27:30I'm not the most natural public speaker.

0:27:30 > 0:27:34Probably seemed quite forward when I played rugby.

0:27:34 > 0:27:37I'm quite sure of my ability when I was a rugby player.

0:27:37 > 0:27:40Away from the pitch, I wasn't as confident.

0:27:40 > 0:27:43I've done a few now and when I've come away from it,

0:27:43 > 0:27:44I've actually enjoyed it.

0:27:51 > 0:27:55But back in 2002, Shane's confidence on the pitch took a huge knock...

0:27:56 > 0:27:59..when he was dropped from the Welsh squad after just two years.

0:28:01 > 0:28:04Playing for Wales came a little bit too early for me.

0:28:04 > 0:28:06I wasn't half as physical as the players out there.

0:28:06 > 0:28:08Defensively not good enough.

0:28:08 > 0:28:11And you just need to get more powerful.

0:28:11 > 0:28:13I started taking supplements.

0:28:13 > 0:28:14Put all this weight on.

0:28:14 > 0:28:17Lost a bit of speed and agility.

0:28:17 > 0:28:19I was feeling depressed.

0:28:19 > 0:28:22I didn't enjoy where I was as a person.

0:28:23 > 0:28:27Defying his critics, Shane chose to do things his own way.

0:28:27 > 0:28:30I decided I wasn't going to put myself under that pressure any more,

0:28:30 > 0:28:33that I was going to play at the weight that I wanted to play at,

0:28:33 > 0:28:35and be the player I wanted to be.

0:28:35 > 0:28:37- COMMENTATOR:- Good to see Shane Williams back on a rugby field.

0:28:37 > 0:28:39And that's what I did.

0:28:43 > 0:28:46In 2003, Shane returned to the Welsh team and never looked back.

0:28:48 > 0:28:50The underdog had turned things around.

0:28:50 > 0:28:54Shane Williams, he's off! Shane Williams for Wales - scores.

0:28:54 > 0:28:57Game after game, he delivered.

0:28:57 > 0:29:01His devastating sidestep helped him become Wales's record try-scorer,

0:29:01 > 0:29:04and most-capped winger.

0:29:04 > 0:29:07Shane Williams, always a buzz of excitement!

0:29:07 > 0:29:09Williams has scored!

0:29:09 > 0:29:12And Williams, what can he create? Oh, he can create magic again.

0:29:12 > 0:29:16Shane Williams, and Williams for the corner, a dive...

0:29:16 > 0:29:17Shane Williams.

0:29:17 > 0:29:21And Shane Williams has won the most dramatic game!

0:29:29 > 0:29:33Despite agreeing to rejoin his local club as a coach, Shane has decided

0:29:33 > 0:29:36to turn out for a home game against Burry Port.

0:29:36 > 0:29:40When I go and watch Amman play, I want to be on the field with them.

0:29:40 > 0:29:42I just can't help myself, really.

0:29:42 > 0:29:44I tried my best to retire.

0:29:44 > 0:29:46I tried my best to give it up completely,

0:29:46 > 0:29:49and I just couldn't do it. And that's why I'm back.

0:29:51 > 0:29:54We tried signing him a couple of years ago but we couldn't get the

0:29:54 > 0:29:56insurance, because he was still with the Japanese team.

0:29:56 > 0:29:59It will be his first game for the club in quite some time.

0:29:59 > 0:30:02He is back in the valley, where he belongs.

0:30:02 > 0:30:04I don't have a choice, really!

0:30:04 > 0:30:07No, I can't stop him doing what he wants to do.

0:30:07 > 0:30:10I think he has started on the wing and he might be moving into centre,

0:30:10 > 0:30:14second half. So he will be looked after, I think.

0:30:14 > 0:30:18But after seeing the opposition, Shane has some reservations.

0:30:18 > 0:30:20If he's playing in the centre, I'll cry.

0:30:20 > 0:30:22Game days are great. You get all them nerves and butterflies,

0:30:22 > 0:30:26it doesn't matter who you are playing for, who you are playing against, really.

0:30:26 > 0:30:29If I don't play well today it's pretty embarrassing, to be fair.

0:30:29 > 0:30:30So I've got that added pressure.

0:30:32 > 0:30:36What he's given to the game in Wales is phenomenal.

0:30:36 > 0:30:39And it's great to see him now coming back to grassroots rugby and giving

0:30:39 > 0:30:42something back to the boys of his own club.

0:30:42 > 0:30:45Two, three, four, five phases, we put these boys away.

0:30:45 > 0:30:47Right? Easy.

0:30:47 > 0:30:49THEY CHANT

0:30:50 > 0:30:52Let's do this, lads. Let's do it.

0:30:57 > 0:30:59It could get a bit feisty.

0:30:59 > 0:31:01I hope not. But I don't want to use my cards.

0:31:01 > 0:31:06I know players like Burry Port target Shane for what he has done,

0:31:06 > 0:31:08and to see if they can catch him.

0:31:08 > 0:31:10If they CAN catch him, that is!

0:31:12 > 0:31:17This is brutal grassroots rugby with no cameras watching every angle.

0:31:17 > 0:31:19No playback slow-mos and no fourth official.

0:31:22 > 0:31:24Even the crowds are tough.

0:31:24 > 0:31:25Come on!

0:31:28 > 0:31:30He is playing all right, yes.

0:31:30 > 0:31:31What I've seen of him, he has done good.

0:31:31 > 0:31:34He has made a couple of breaks.

0:31:34 > 0:31:36But not everyone agrees.

0:31:36 > 0:31:38We are trying to use Shane too much at this moment in time.

0:31:38 > 0:31:41We are rushing it. We are rushing everything wide, we are.

0:31:41 > 0:31:42We need to just go back to basics.

0:31:45 > 0:31:48Despite some tough defence and a few mistakes,

0:31:48 > 0:31:50Shane and the team persist

0:31:50 > 0:31:52and it's not long before the Amman tries come rolling in.

0:31:58 > 0:32:00- When we get here, let's- BLEEP! - just kick the leather off it,

0:32:00 > 0:32:03- good talk, good chase and then we - BLEEP!- make them play down there.

0:32:03 > 0:32:06- It's hard, isn't it? We just had it for 40- BLEEP!- minutes.

0:32:06 > 0:32:09He's having a couple of men marking him, it's not just the one.

0:32:09 > 0:32:11But second half now, when they get a little bit tired,

0:32:11 > 0:32:13we think he'll have a bit more space,

0:32:13 > 0:32:16and hopefully he'll be crossing that corner down the bottom there.

0:32:17 > 0:32:21Shane switches to the centre and soon turns provider for his

0:32:21 > 0:32:22new team-mates.

0:32:36 > 0:32:38WHISTLE BLOWS

0:32:38 > 0:32:40THEY CHEER

0:32:41 > 0:32:44Shane has lasted the full bruising 80 minutes.

0:32:44 > 0:32:47He hasn't scored, but it's still a winning return to rugby.

0:32:49 > 0:32:52I do actually miss the physical side of it, in a strange way.

0:32:52 > 0:32:54My legs were just like lead out there.

0:32:54 > 0:32:58The combination of age and the fact I was tired and lethargic.

0:32:58 > 0:33:00I wouldn't have gone and played anywhere else, really.

0:33:00 > 0:33:03I am retired. This is just a hobby for me and a bit of fun.

0:33:03 > 0:33:05And who knows, I might put the boots on again.

0:33:05 > 0:33:09I think the chairman of the club was happy today. He has taken a few pounds on the gate.

0:33:09 > 0:33:12So it's good for the club, good for the village,

0:33:12 > 0:33:15good for the boys playing with him as well.

0:33:15 > 0:33:18I am dreading tomorrow morning. My calf is going like that as we speak.

0:33:18 > 0:33:21My head is little bit sore from a few bangs to the head,

0:33:21 > 0:33:23but that's rugby, and that's why we do it.

0:33:27 > 0:33:30Gail, any order, eh?

0:33:30 > 0:33:33Shane's comeback is a welcome boost for the club but this time

0:33:33 > 0:33:37around the demands of playing won't overshadow his priorities -

0:33:37 > 0:33:41his family. Today, it's the turn of horse-mad daughter Georgie to get

0:33:41 > 0:33:43Mum and Dad to herself.

0:33:43 > 0:33:45Georgie.

0:33:45 > 0:33:48It doesn't matter which way, does it?

0:33:48 > 0:33:50Georgie now is ten years of age.

0:33:50 > 0:33:54She's into ponies, her gymkhana, and her games on the pony.

0:33:54 > 0:33:57She is doing extremely well.

0:33:57 > 0:33:59Go on. Go. Go on!

0:34:00 > 0:34:03She's got the heart of a lion, to be fair.

0:34:03 > 0:34:04She's tough as nails.

0:34:04 > 0:34:07She's doing things on that horse that I've never seen other people

0:34:07 > 0:34:10do, to be completely honest with you.

0:34:12 > 0:34:14Go on.

0:34:14 > 0:34:16- Good girl.- She's doing really well.

0:34:16 > 0:34:21She's very competitive, which is her father, with the competitive genes,

0:34:21 > 0:34:25and me the horsey genes, cos I used to do this when I was younger.

0:34:25 > 0:34:27And ready, look ready for it.

0:34:32 > 0:34:35Better. As many shows as Georgie does,

0:34:35 > 0:34:37I try to get to watch as much as I can.

0:34:37 > 0:34:41It's great. I've got no excuses now, I'm back home.

0:34:44 > 0:34:48It's not just Shane's daughter that has the heart of a lion.

0:34:48 > 0:34:51In a glittering career, his proudest achievement was being picked for

0:34:51 > 0:34:53three separate Lions' tours.

0:34:53 > 0:34:56Playing for the British and Irish Lions was the highlight of my career.

0:34:56 > 0:35:00For me to say that I've been part of that, to be on three tours,

0:35:00 > 0:35:02is just completely surreal.

0:35:02 > 0:35:07I am able to put my name in with some of the best players that have played the game.

0:35:07 > 0:35:10What's great about the Lions is, you get put in with players that perhaps you think,

0:35:10 > 0:35:13"Oh, I don't know if I like this guy because I played against him and

0:35:13 > 0:35:15"he was a little bit horrible to me on the field,"

0:35:15 > 0:35:17or "..beat me up on the field there."

0:35:17 > 0:35:20And you get to meet these guys and they are just as

0:35:20 > 0:35:22normal as anyone else, you know.

0:35:22 > 0:35:26Very few players get picked for three separate Lions' tours,

0:35:26 > 0:35:29and fewer still are crowned World Player of the Year.

0:35:29 > 0:35:33IRB Player of the Year for 2008 - Shane Williams.

0:35:33 > 0:35:35The highlight, and I suppose the pinnacle,

0:35:35 > 0:35:38was being named World Player of the Year in 2008.

0:35:38 > 0:35:41Being told countless times that I wasn't good enough,

0:35:41 > 0:35:45to come full circle and go through the ups and downs, that I could

0:35:45 > 0:35:48almost stick two fingers up to a lot of people who told me from

0:35:48 > 0:35:50the start that it was never going to happen,

0:35:50 > 0:35:55and I almost believed that, at times, was just amazing.

0:35:55 > 0:35:57I didn't have to say anything, really.

0:35:57 > 0:36:00Just receiving that award just said it all.

0:36:00 > 0:36:03It was quite selfish of me, really, because that was a single award for

0:36:03 > 0:36:08a single player, but I suppose that really

0:36:08 > 0:36:13summed up my rugby career, really, and me as a person.

0:36:18 > 0:36:22The former World Player of the Year is about to help his home team grab

0:36:22 > 0:36:24some glory of their own.

0:36:24 > 0:36:28Shane has been picked to play for the Amman in the quarterfinals of

0:36:28 > 0:36:30the WRU National Bowl.

0:36:30 > 0:36:32While coaching Amman, we have won leagues,

0:36:32 > 0:36:34we have won all the local cups,

0:36:34 > 0:36:37the only one we haven't won is the Millennium Stadium.

0:36:37 > 0:36:39I'll go and warm up.

0:36:39 > 0:36:42- You all right there?- Yeah.

0:36:43 > 0:36:46Shane has played in the Principality, or the Millennium Stadium,

0:36:46 > 0:36:49loads of times. But to help these boys get somewhere like the

0:36:49 > 0:36:52Millennium Stadium would absolutely be fantastic for him.

0:36:52 > 0:36:56But not everyone is looking forward to sharing the pitch with Shane.

0:36:56 > 0:36:58When we realised Shane was playing,

0:36:58 > 0:37:01we sat down as a group of players and talked about it.

0:37:01 > 0:37:04We could either get down in the dumps that a world-class player's

0:37:04 > 0:37:06playing, or we can get excited at the opportunity of playing against

0:37:06 > 0:37:09him. Some of our boys have only ever seen him play on TV,

0:37:09 > 0:37:11so to actually grace the fields with him would be a great

0:37:11 > 0:37:13opportunity for our boys.

0:37:13 > 0:37:16I bet they're looking forward to trying to run him down and catch him

0:37:16 > 0:37:19and stick his face in the mud.

0:37:20 > 0:37:24Despite the mud, the brutal tackles and the freezing conditions,

0:37:24 > 0:37:27Amman clinch the game.

0:37:27 > 0:37:30They started well. We were slow off the bus, I think.

0:37:30 > 0:37:33We just... We just built into the game,

0:37:33 > 0:37:36but their defence was very good.

0:37:36 > 0:37:38I thought we dominated the first half.

0:37:38 > 0:37:40Set piece, our line-outs, scrum,

0:37:40 > 0:37:43we got the backs quite a bit of ball.

0:37:43 > 0:37:4518 points up - against a tough team.

0:37:45 > 0:37:48In really poor conditions, didn't really have to do much.

0:37:48 > 0:37:50The forwards were fantastic.

0:37:50 > 0:37:52Oh, definitely still got it.

0:37:52 > 0:37:54I don't think he'll ever lose it. I think he'll still be sidestepping

0:37:54 > 0:37:56when he's 75 on the street, I think,

0:37:56 > 0:37:58so when you've got a talent like he has,

0:37:58 > 0:38:00I don't think it will ever disappear.

0:38:09 > 0:38:12The improved performance hasn't resulted in a try and he's still yet

0:38:12 > 0:38:15to score for the Amman. Not that he's worried.

0:38:15 > 0:38:18The reason I want to come back and play is because it is old school.

0:38:18 > 0:38:20You're playing in the mud, you're playing in poor conditions and

0:38:20 > 0:38:23you're playing against teams like this and you're having a good craic

0:38:23 > 0:38:25And you're just enjoying it.

0:38:25 > 0:38:28You know, to play alongside my brother and my brother-in-law,

0:38:28 > 0:38:31to be involved with them guys and enjoying it, is what it's all about,

0:38:31 > 0:38:33- really.- 18-7, we'll take that every day.

0:38:34 > 0:38:37This is the furthest we've ever got, so it's getting really close now.

0:38:43 > 0:38:46Shane has left the mud of West Wales for the town of Rugby,

0:38:46 > 0:38:50home of the game and a place where he has a VIP appointment with some

0:38:50 > 0:38:52very high-profile players.

0:38:53 > 0:38:55We're heading to the Hall of Fame,

0:38:55 > 0:38:59myself plus a couple of other legends on the bus, to get inducted.

0:39:00 > 0:39:03Quite excited, a little bit nervous, actually,

0:39:03 > 0:39:07because I'm not 100% sure what to expect, but really looking forward.

0:39:13 > 0:39:19Wales had that tradition of flair. Skilful, speedy rugby players.

0:39:19 > 0:39:22And Shane fits that mould to a T.

0:39:22 > 0:39:26I loved Shane Williams. I loved the fact he was very small,

0:39:26 > 0:39:29I loved the fact that, really, he had no business playing.

0:39:29 > 0:39:32He was too small, he was going to get damaged. And the fact that he

0:39:32 > 0:39:34had the best feet of any rugby player

0:39:34 > 0:39:36that I ever managed to play against.

0:39:39 > 0:39:42Obviously, you've gone for a life-size picture as well.

0:39:42 > 0:39:44It's good to see, yeah.

0:39:44 > 0:39:45It's quite surreal, really,

0:39:45 > 0:39:49you know, to realise you're in a place, I guess, with all

0:39:49 > 0:39:52the jerseys, the memorabilia and the video clips of all the legends

0:39:52 > 0:39:54before me.

0:39:56 > 0:39:59You know, hitting home, really, what being inducted into the Hall of Fame

0:39:59 > 0:40:01really means.

0:40:01 > 0:40:04Like, I'm walking around with Ieuan Evans, one of my heroes growing up.

0:40:04 > 0:40:07Well, he electrified the nation and he brought excitement,

0:40:07 > 0:40:12he brought a buzz and I'm sure he inspired a whole generation of

0:40:12 > 0:40:16youngsters to want to play the game that we all love.

0:40:16 > 0:40:21Our next inductee is Wales's record try-scorer, with 58 tries in 87 tests,

0:40:21 > 0:40:23largely down to a devastating sidestep.

0:40:23 > 0:40:27- Please welcome Shane Williams. - APPLAUSE

0:40:35 > 0:40:37It was quite nerve-racking in the end,

0:40:37 > 0:40:38when you see the players around you

0:40:38 > 0:40:42and, you know, all the ex-players and the players you played alongside

0:40:42 > 0:40:45and legends of the game, and then having to go up on the stage,

0:40:45 > 0:40:47quite nerve-racking, but, no, it was great.

0:40:47 > 0:40:51And I've got a couple of goodies out of it, as well, so got a...

0:40:52 > 0:40:54..a new cap.

0:40:54 > 0:40:59Hall of Fame cap there, so... There have only been 130 of these made.

0:40:59 > 0:41:00This will go in the cupboard now,

0:41:00 > 0:41:02with the trophies and the other things.

0:41:04 > 0:41:07This is an elite gathering of rugby's great and the good,

0:41:07 > 0:41:11and everyone of them have faced the same dilemma as Shane -

0:41:11 > 0:41:13how to give up the game.

0:41:13 > 0:41:17It's not so much missing the team or missing friends or missing the

0:41:17 > 0:41:20environment, for me, I missed winning and I missed...

0:41:20 > 0:41:21I almost missed losing too.

0:41:21 > 0:41:23It's the highs and lows of the emotions.

0:41:23 > 0:41:25You spend your whole life trying to chase it again.

0:41:25 > 0:41:28It sounds a bit morbid, but you have to make peace with the fact that

0:41:28 > 0:41:30you're not going to be able to replicate that,

0:41:30 > 0:41:33so you have to go and find something else that floats your boat,

0:41:33 > 0:41:34something that gives you a purpose

0:41:34 > 0:41:36and a reason to get up in the morning.

0:41:38 > 0:41:42The Hall of Fame is a celebration of past glories,

0:41:42 > 0:41:45but is there one more medal on the horizon for Shane?

0:41:45 > 0:41:48I've played a couple of games with the Amman now, which are...

0:41:48 > 0:41:49Is there a cup game in the offing?

0:41:49 > 0:41:52There is a Bowl game coming up, so I'm hoping to help the Amman out,

0:41:52 > 0:41:55progress to the Principality Stadium, which is,

0:41:55 > 0:41:58you know, the priority of this season.

0:41:58 > 0:42:00If you get them there, will you play?

0:42:00 > 0:42:03I don't know. I'm going to have to play because I'm going to have to

0:42:03 > 0:42:05have another medal, aren't I? You know,

0:42:05 > 0:42:07if I don't play, I don't get a medal, so...

0:42:14 > 0:42:16I enjoy being out and about.

0:42:16 > 0:42:19For me, it's pointless me being stuck in an office.

0:42:19 > 0:42:21I don't really get much done.

0:42:21 > 0:42:23You know, put me in front of a computer,

0:42:23 > 0:42:27I end up looking up the internet and on eBay and all that crap, so

0:42:27 > 0:42:32get me out and about, get me meeting people and I'm a lot happier.

0:42:32 > 0:42:36He's a superstar one minute, on the telly the next minute,

0:42:36 > 0:42:39there was nothing snobby or nothing big-headed and that's the way he's

0:42:39 > 0:42:41- going to stay.- You're having ten years' warranty,

0:42:41 > 0:42:44- 20-year life expectancy. - I don't want something that's...

0:42:44 > 0:42:47- No, you want to see your garden.- You sit up there and you think,

0:42:47 > 0:42:48"There's a nice oil tank."

0:42:48 > 0:42:51End of the day, you're going to have a tank there, aren't you?

0:42:51 > 0:42:54- All right?- Good, thank you very much.- Diolch.- Thank you very much.

0:42:54 > 0:42:57- Thank you.- I'll get breakfast next time now, all right?

0:42:57 > 0:43:01- Yeah.- So, what's it like having Shane Williams turn up?

0:43:01 > 0:43:04Bit of a shock when I had the call to say that Shane would be coming,

0:43:04 > 0:43:06but I was desperate for an oil tank.

0:43:06 > 0:43:08I couldn't care less if Donald Trump turned up.

0:43:08 > 0:43:10HE CHUCKLES

0:43:11 > 0:43:13From selling oil tanks to filling them,

0:43:13 > 0:43:16the family firm is keeping him busy.

0:43:16 > 0:43:17Need a stepladder.

0:43:19 > 0:43:21Oh, please don't go everywhere.

0:43:21 > 0:43:23MACHINE WHIRS

0:43:28 > 0:43:30I think that's working.

0:43:30 > 0:43:33Now, this is where usually someone

0:43:33 > 0:43:35offers you a cup of coffee and a cake

0:43:35 > 0:43:41or something, but there's no-one in today - gutted.

0:43:41 > 0:43:44I haven't killed no-one. Full tank of oil and they'll be warm tonight

0:43:44 > 0:43:47and that will be because of me, so, happy.

0:43:59 > 0:44:02It's the morning of the semifinal of the National Bowl competition.

0:44:02 > 0:44:06The prospect of playing at the Principality is within touching distance,

0:44:06 > 0:44:10but first Amman face a physical battle against

0:44:10 > 0:44:12heavyweight opposition - Cardigan.

0:44:13 > 0:44:15The worst round in the cup is the semifinal.

0:44:15 > 0:44:18You're one game away from the final, yet, you know,

0:44:18 > 0:44:20yet you could lose that game and you're nowhere near.

0:44:20 > 0:44:22So, yeah, it's a big, big game.

0:44:23 > 0:44:26The village has turned out to support their boys.

0:44:26 > 0:44:30# Roll along, Amman United Roll along

0:44:31 > 0:44:36# With a little bit of luck You will win the silver cup

0:44:36 > 0:44:39# Roll along, Amman United Roll along. #

0:44:39 > 0:44:42Feels like the European Cup final, for the lads, or a

0:44:42 > 0:44:43World Cup final, it really does.

0:44:44 > 0:44:47But today, Shane's taking a back seat.

0:44:47 > 0:44:49Shane's going to be on the bench for us, and,

0:44:49 > 0:44:51there's a big,

0:44:51 > 0:44:54big chance that he'll be going on before the end of the game.

0:44:54 > 0:44:56I've looked a little bit into Cardigan and apparently they like

0:44:56 > 0:44:59the driving maul, so they kick into the corners a lot.

0:45:00 > 0:45:04The game gets underway with some big early hits from the home side.

0:45:06 > 0:45:09This was always going to be a tough encounter and the plan was for Shane

0:45:09 > 0:45:10to sit it out.

0:45:12 > 0:45:14But when his brother-in-law runs into trouble...

0:45:16 > 0:45:19..he has no choice but to go into battle for the Amman.

0:45:28 > 0:45:30The atmosphere is hostile

0:45:30 > 0:45:33and, for once, it's Shane who's in firing line.

0:45:34 > 0:45:37You know, I got a little bit of abuse off some of the crowd as well.

0:45:37 > 0:45:39JEERING

0:45:41 > 0:45:43I wasn't really used to it.

0:45:43 > 0:45:47I was used to the Welsh fans kind of enjoying my play and being quite

0:45:47 > 0:45:50nice and saying nice things about me, but, you know,

0:45:50 > 0:45:51I kind of expected something.

0:45:51 > 0:45:53It's still tough to take.

0:45:53 > 0:45:56You know, no-one likes to get abused on the field and certainly

0:45:56 > 0:45:59physically abused on the field.

0:45:59 > 0:46:01Despite a brutal front-line game,

0:46:01 > 0:46:04Amman open up the field...

0:46:04 > 0:46:08- Come on, Amman!- ..and take a comfortable lead against Cardigan...

0:46:08 > 0:46:10scoring try after try.

0:46:10 > 0:46:11CHEERING

0:46:18 > 0:46:21Shane's brother Dean crosses the line too,

0:46:21 > 0:46:27but before Shane can have a similar impact, things get out of hand.

0:46:27 > 0:46:29I was just being held in the ruck.

0:46:29 > 0:46:31Can't call it a scuffle. Not tough enough to scuffle.

0:46:31 > 0:46:34And one of their fellas decided to come round the wrong side of the

0:46:34 > 0:46:37ruck and unfortunately clashed his head with my jaw.

0:46:45 > 0:46:47It was a bit naughty, really. Didn't feel very nice at the time,

0:46:47 > 0:46:51I've got to be honest, but I managed to carry on and finish the game.

0:46:52 > 0:46:54Despite the aggression,

0:46:54 > 0:46:58Amman comfortably take the semifinal by 29 points to 3.

0:46:58 > 0:47:03They have made it to the Principality Stadium.

0:47:03 > 0:47:04Oh, it feels...

0:47:04 > 0:47:06it feels awesome.

0:47:06 > 0:47:08Sorry, I had a whack in the chops.

0:47:08 > 0:47:11It feels awesome. The boys deserved it. They played exceptionally well.

0:47:11 > 0:47:15It was tough out there, Cardigan are always very physical and some tough

0:47:15 > 0:47:18boys there, but the boys stuck at it.

0:47:18 > 0:47:20We're going to Cardiff, boys! Come on!

0:47:20 > 0:47:22CHEERING

0:47:26 > 0:47:30The fracture to his jaw has left a huge question mark over Shane's

0:47:30 > 0:47:32place in the final.

0:47:33 > 0:47:37He could miss the chance to play one last time on the pitch where he made his name.

0:47:40 > 0:47:43Missing out would be a crushing blow to a player who made a habit of

0:47:43 > 0:47:45bowing out in style.

0:47:47 > 0:47:50After capping his last international appearance for Wales with a try,

0:47:50 > 0:47:53Shane repeated the feat in his last-ever game for the Ospreys.

0:47:53 > 0:47:56Shane Williams...

0:47:56 > 0:48:00- There's Shane Williams!- Oh, no! - You can't believe it.

0:48:00 > 0:48:02You just could not script it.

0:48:02 > 0:48:06He did it in his final international for Wales against Australia and he's

0:48:06 > 0:48:11possibly done it again in his final game at the Liberty.

0:48:11 > 0:48:17Shane's game again! Incredible.

0:48:17 > 0:48:21You just cannot put the little man down. What a way to finish.

0:48:25 > 0:48:27While Shane might have finished with rugby,

0:48:27 > 0:48:29rugby hadn't finished with him.

0:48:29 > 0:48:34I had a phone call off Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, in Japan, asking

0:48:34 > 0:48:36if I'd like to represent them and be their ambassador,

0:48:36 > 0:48:38and play rugby out there.

0:48:38 > 0:48:40The offer was pretty much too good to turn down, really.

0:48:40 > 0:48:44There were a lot of zeros on the end of that yen sign, let me tell you.

0:48:44 > 0:48:47Spoke to Gail and we thought, "Oh, do you know what?

0:48:47 > 0:48:49"We'll take the kids out of school,

0:48:49 > 0:48:51"we'll go out there and we'll experience it,

0:48:51 > 0:48:54"and hopefully enjoy it." And we did.

0:48:54 > 0:48:56Where's Mammy gone tonight, then?

0:48:56 > 0:49:00- With all of the girls.- She's out on a girls' night out, is she?

0:49:00 > 0:49:02Having beer.

0:49:02 > 0:49:03What?!

0:49:03 > 0:49:05She told me last night.

0:49:05 > 0:49:07She's going to have a beer?

0:49:07 > 0:49:09She didn't tell me that.

0:49:09 > 0:49:11She told me!

0:49:11 > 0:49:13Playing in Japan was a revelation

0:49:13 > 0:49:15for the little winger from West Wales.

0:49:15 > 0:49:17Out here, it's far less physical.

0:49:17 > 0:49:18The players are smaller.

0:49:18 > 0:49:21I'm hitting rucks now and I'm actually effective,

0:49:21 > 0:49:23which never used to happen.

0:49:23 > 0:49:24I'm putting tackles in now and,

0:49:24 > 0:49:27you know, I'm not going backwards in the tackle.

0:49:27 > 0:49:28I'm going forwards for once!

0:49:28 > 0:49:30But while he enjoyed the rugby,

0:49:30 > 0:49:32the family missed home and home comforts.

0:49:35 > 0:49:38I eat the occasional tin of tuna.

0:49:38 > 0:49:39I won't eat my raw fish.

0:49:39 > 0:49:41Struggle with the noodles.

0:49:41 > 0:49:44Unfortunately, when we do go out, we go for a pizza or something,

0:49:44 > 0:49:46so not very Japanese-y, really,

0:49:46 > 0:49:50but struggling for a fish-and-chip shop here. That's the only problem.

0:49:52 > 0:49:56After two years, Shane retired once and for all.

0:49:56 > 0:49:59His career ended 6,000 miles from home.

0:50:01 > 0:50:04He went back to the Amman believing he would never play rugby again.

0:50:10 > 0:50:14After two anxious weeks, Shane's fractured jaw has healed.

0:50:14 > 0:50:17He is fit to play, and the club is buzzing with excitement.

0:50:20 > 0:50:22Heads on, boys, come on. Let's get out there.

0:50:22 > 0:50:26Today is probably the biggest day in Amman United's history.

0:50:26 > 0:50:28The boys seem up for it. They're going to have to be,

0:50:28 > 0:50:30it's going to be a tough game. You know,

0:50:30 > 0:50:32you don't get an opportunity like this very often.

0:50:34 > 0:50:37I think the lads are so nervous that we actually had a singsong.

0:50:37 > 0:50:39We were singing R Kelly, The World's Greatest,

0:50:39 > 0:50:41and that was quite bizarre,

0:50:41 > 0:50:44but it was great. It got the lads up for it, they were excited.

0:50:44 > 0:50:50MUSIC: The World's Greatest by R Kelly

0:50:52 > 0:50:54Back on familiar territory,

0:50:54 > 0:50:57the stadium brings back fond memories for Shane

0:50:57 > 0:51:00of his Grand Slam glory days.

0:51:01 > 0:51:04Grand Slam was up there with one of the biggest things you can win

0:51:04 > 0:51:06as an international rugby player.

0:51:16 > 0:51:18CROWD ROARS

0:51:21 > 0:51:23I've been lucky and privileged to have had two.

0:51:23 > 0:51:26There's not many people who can say that.

0:51:34 > 0:51:38The return to the stadium isn't just an emotional day for Shane.

0:51:38 > 0:51:40The occasion is getting to everyone.

0:51:40 > 0:51:42I've got to say, he's just one of the boys.

0:51:42 > 0:51:44He has no airs and graces about him.

0:51:44 > 0:51:46He's just...

0:51:46 > 0:51:48He's still Shane, whatever happens.

0:51:48 > 0:51:50Sorry.

0:51:53 > 0:51:56But I knew, when he was first playing for the Amman,

0:51:56 > 0:51:58still the same boy, still the same man.

0:51:58 > 0:52:01He's probably just as proud today as he was

0:52:01 > 0:52:04when he was playing for Wales, you know, to play with his brother,

0:52:04 > 0:52:05his brother-in-law, all his friends,

0:52:05 > 0:52:10and it's the same for them to play with Shane, isn't it?

0:52:10 > 0:52:12Ready, set, up!

0:52:12 > 0:52:15Ready, set, up!

0:52:15 > 0:52:17If we freeze, we'll be gutted forever, boys.

0:52:17 > 0:52:20Nobody can take this away from us today, boys. You've earned it.

0:52:20 > 0:52:22Nobody else, you've earned it.

0:52:22 > 0:52:24Go out there and make the most of it, boys.

0:52:24 > 0:52:26Enjoy it. You've strived for this all your lives.

0:52:26 > 0:52:29- Come on.- The first day you put a pair of boots on

0:52:29 > 0:52:31is for a day like this, and here it is, it's come for you, boys.

0:52:31 > 0:52:33Let's go on.

0:52:33 > 0:52:36- Come on!- Go out there and enjoy it, boys.

0:52:42 > 0:52:44I remember coming out to the Millennium Stadium

0:52:44 > 0:52:48in my final game thinking, "I'm not going to have this again."

0:52:49 > 0:52:52And to have the whole crowd standing up and singing the anthem

0:52:52 > 0:52:55and chanting our names or whatever again...

0:52:55 > 0:52:59That was almost as sad as realising that I was giving up rugby.

0:53:02 > 0:53:07In front of an empty stadium, with the game broadcast live on S4C,

0:53:07 > 0:53:10Shane kicked off his last ever match against rivals Caerphilly.

0:53:12 > 0:53:15With 58 professional tries under his belt,

0:53:15 > 0:53:18the pressure's on Shane to help his village to win the Bowl.

0:53:20 > 0:53:24A loose pass from Caerphilly gives Amman an early opening.

0:53:24 > 0:53:27Five-and-a-half years after his last professional match,

0:53:27 > 0:53:29with his first touch of the ball,

0:53:29 > 0:53:33Wales's record try-scorer snatches the first try of the game

0:53:33 > 0:53:36and his first for Amman United this season.

0:53:45 > 0:53:49Caerphilly fight back, securing two converted tries in quick succession.

0:53:52 > 0:53:55Keeping it in the family, Shane turns provider,

0:53:55 > 0:53:57producing a killer pass to brother-in-law Gavin Lewis.

0:53:59 > 0:54:02Amman take the lead 15-14.

0:54:05 > 0:54:08The game swings back and forth as Caerphilly and Amman trade points

0:54:08 > 0:54:10and swap scores.

0:54:12 > 0:54:14After a nail-biting first-half,

0:54:14 > 0:54:16Caerphilly lead 21-20.

0:54:20 > 0:54:22The second half is just as frenetic,

0:54:22 > 0:54:25with the lead changing hands seven times.

0:54:30 > 0:54:31With ten minutes to go,

0:54:31 > 0:54:34Caerphilly pull ahead with a try from Matthew Nuttall.

0:54:37 > 0:54:42Shane's return to the Principality Stadium looks set to end in defeat.

0:54:52 > 0:54:57With three minutes remaining, Amman grasp a last-chance opportunity.

0:54:58 > 0:55:03Shane feeds the ball wide and Chris Rhys slides it over the line,

0:55:03 > 0:55:06putting Amman back in the lead.

0:55:06 > 0:55:09Amid the chaos of the last few seconds,

0:55:09 > 0:55:11Caerphilly give away a penalty

0:55:11 > 0:55:15and Amman sink it to clinch the game, 43-31.

0:55:15 > 0:55:17This guy is the golden guy.

0:55:17 > 0:55:20He's in the red of Amman United today.

0:55:20 > 0:55:21He has been part of a victory

0:55:21 > 0:55:24that will go down in the history of that little part

0:55:24 > 0:55:28of West Wales, of the Amman Valley, they will tell the tale

0:55:28 > 0:55:32of how they played with Shane and how they won the Bowl.

0:55:35 > 0:55:38One last medal, one last game,

0:55:38 > 0:55:40one last hurrah.

0:55:47 > 0:55:49CHEERING

0:55:56 > 0:55:57Yeah, today wasn't about me

0:55:57 > 0:55:59and I keep saying it and I really do mean that.

0:55:59 > 0:56:02Today was about the Amman being successful,

0:56:02 > 0:56:04and you can see the lads, you know,

0:56:04 > 0:56:06it's like Christmas come all over again for these guys.

0:56:06 > 0:56:08They may not get this opportunity again

0:56:08 > 0:56:12and they're going to make the most of it. I'm very chuffed.

0:56:12 > 0:56:14To play alongside my brother and brother-in-laws

0:56:14 > 0:56:16and cousins and God knows what...

0:56:16 > 0:56:19From the Amman Valley, everyone's related, so, you know,

0:56:19 > 0:56:21most of the boys are related to me and they're family

0:56:21 > 0:56:23and to go out there and win it, as well, in the end,

0:56:23 > 0:56:26thoroughly deserved. I felt the guys were great.

0:56:27 > 0:56:30I miss these times where, you know, you can celebrate a win

0:56:30 > 0:56:34or something positive and I'm looking forward to tonight.

0:56:39 > 0:56:41EXCITED CHATTER

0:56:42 > 0:56:45CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:56:50 > 0:56:54THEY SING

0:56:54 > 0:56:57Bar my kids being born, it's the best feeling of my life, honestly.

0:56:57 > 0:57:00There is also one extremely proud father

0:57:00 > 0:57:02celebrating in the Amman tonight.

0:57:02 > 0:57:06I've never seen both of them playing in the Millennium Stadium together,

0:57:06 > 0:57:08so a very good day for the family.

0:57:10 > 0:57:12Shane's obviously lived moments like this,

0:57:12 > 0:57:14but you can see on his face on the way home,

0:57:14 > 0:57:17it means more to him to have all his mates and his family here

0:57:17 > 0:57:19than it would to win for Wales and all that because...

0:57:19 > 0:57:21You can tell by his face, it's just different.

0:57:21 > 0:57:23Different feeling, really, do you know what I mean?

0:57:23 > 0:57:25It's awesome. It's awesome.

0:57:25 > 0:57:28It's not the World Cup final, but for these guys,

0:57:28 > 0:57:30it is the World Cup final.

0:57:41 > 0:57:43Three months after the final,

0:57:43 > 0:57:47and the club bar sports a new addition to the Amman Hall of Fame.

0:57:49 > 0:57:52It was a great way for me to finish my rugby.

0:57:54 > 0:57:56The boots are staying locked in the attic.

0:57:56 > 0:58:00The wife has told me and I've told myself, "No more."

0:58:04 > 0:58:06Where's my wife?

0:58:06 > 0:58:07I don't think he'll ever stop.

0:58:07 > 0:58:11He thinks, "Oh, I'll just go and have one more game."

0:58:11 > 0:58:15Yeah. If they're short, I know he'd play.

0:58:15 > 0:58:16Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure.

0:58:16 > 0:58:20Look, I love the game. I'd love to have been able to play for Wales

0:58:20 > 0:58:21up until I was 50 years of age,

0:58:21 > 0:58:24but you have to listen to your body sometimes,

0:58:24 > 0:58:27and especially a wife, so I think I'll hang my boots up.

0:58:27 > 0:58:31They will tell the tale of how they played with Shane

0:58:31 > 0:58:33and how they won the Bowl.
