0:00:19 > 0:00:21It's My Shout find talent in the area.

0:00:23 > 0:00:26There are 19 nationalities involved in the film

0:00:26 > 0:00:29and he went to meet some of the crew to see why the sense of community

0:00:29 > 0:00:32in the Bay is still so strong.

0:00:32 > 0:00:35I love our community because I think they're so integrated

0:00:35 > 0:00:37and everyone's always looking after each other.

0:00:37 > 0:00:40Everyone's, you know, I think people say, you know, everyone's

0:00:40 > 0:00:43always up in everyone's business but I don't think that's the case.

0:00:43 > 0:00:46I think it's... Everyone's really helpful, friendly.

0:00:46 > 0:00:47It's a lovely community, yeah.

0:00:47 > 0:00:49Stone Soup, in a sense,

0:00:49 > 0:00:53celebrates the strength of the community in Cardiff Bay.

0:00:53 > 0:00:56Community is very important. I think it brings everyone together.

0:00:56 > 0:00:58Sometimes you don't know the people in your community

0:00:58 > 0:01:01and I think if you work with the community,

0:01:01 > 0:01:04meet your community, you get to know your community and everyone

0:01:04 > 0:01:08knows each other and you could help each other out, I suppose.

0:01:08 > 0:01:11Lead actor Anthony Corria works at the Roath Lock Studios

0:01:11 > 0:01:14and has lived in the Bay for most of his life.

0:01:14 > 0:01:19He sees similarities between his own community and the climax of the film.

0:01:19 > 0:01:26And it becomes a celebration of basically neighbours

0:01:26 > 0:01:30coming to celebrate one thing that's being created for them

0:01:30 > 0:01:32all to become closer

0:01:32 > 0:01:35and appreciate and respect each other.

0:01:36 > 0:01:40The It's My Shout team held workshops in the area for two months.

0:01:40 > 0:01:43More than 100 people turned up for a pilot episode.

0:01:44 > 0:01:48They then had to be cast in roles as supporting actors or in

0:01:48 > 0:01:51important jobs behind the camera, where they would receive tuition.

0:01:53 > 0:01:54Nathan spoke to a trainee runner,

0:01:54 > 0:01:57who had been there throughout this process.

0:01:57 > 0:02:01I'm Zimbabwean-born, but I was Welsh-raised.

0:02:01 > 0:02:05I came to the country about, yeah, about 15 years ago.

0:02:05 > 0:02:09I am involved with the community.

0:02:09 > 0:02:11But this project has kind of, in a way,

0:02:11 > 0:02:14ripped out the middleman and it's just...

0:02:14 > 0:02:15Galvanised what you want to do.

0:02:15 > 0:02:19Yeah, and it's just like boom! I'm straight in there today.

0:02:38 > 0:02:40like the Grangetown fete.

0:03:56 > 0:03:59- M'hm.- And she said, "Come to the auditions on Friday".

0:03:59 > 0:04:01So then I went and that's how I got the part.
