:21:36. > :21:41.up - EastEnders goes back to the 1980s. There is a festive special
:21:42. > :21:46.from the Time Lord. David Brent is in the studio! And we meet Oscar
:21:47. > :21:52.winner Eddie Redmayne! Can't wait for that EastEnders
:21:53. > :21:54.'80s movie tribute! Just think of the fun
:21:55. > :21:56.you could have with it! Not to mention Ghost Butchers
:21:57. > :22:11.and of course Mad Max Branning. You got so excited,
:22:12. > :22:18.you forgot Pat To The Future. Next, I'd like you to meet a lovely
:22:19. > :22:21.boy called Max. He wants to tell you how your
:22:22. > :22:28.donations have changed his life It's where the face
:22:29. > :22:41.forms differently. The ears don't have
:22:42. > :22:43.ear holes like mine. You're going to be deaf
:22:44. > :22:45.if you have that. Max has no ear canals,
:22:46. > :22:48.so although everything inside works, no sound gets in, so he has very
:22:49. > :22:50.unusual hearing aids. My hearing aids are like special
:22:51. > :22:52.hearing aids I have. He has implants in his head
:22:53. > :22:55.which they attach to. The sound goes into those,
:22:56. > :23:00.vibrates, and then he can hear. With his hearing aids in,
:23:01. > :23:02.Max's hearing is OK. But it's at night when the problems
:23:03. > :23:08.begin. In bed, he has to take the hearing
:23:09. > :23:12.aids out and he can't hear a thing. He would come downstairs,
:23:13. > :23:17.keep coming down, keep calling. It just made me feel
:23:18. > :23:19.terrified at night. It got to the point where
:23:20. > :23:21.he actually did not It's all like silent and it just
:23:22. > :23:28.freaks me out a bit. It was just really, really difficult
:23:29. > :23:31.getting him to sleep. It's just the feeling
:23:32. > :23:34.of being alone. Sometimes the mind
:23:35. > :23:42.plays tricks on you. Chloe is a specially
:23:43. > :23:51.trained hearing dog. Thanks to you, she's just one
:23:52. > :23:57.of many dogs across the UK that support deaf children in their
:23:58. > :24:01.daily lives. She lies right there and I love
:24:02. > :24:09.that just because I can Him knowing that he can be
:24:10. > :24:15.woken by Chloe makes It makes him realise
:24:16. > :24:20.he is not isolated. It's like having the best friend
:24:21. > :24:25.in the world times ten next to you. In the past, Max has had people
:24:26. > :24:32.that have made nasty All of that just chips away,
:24:33. > :24:40.knocks his confidence. Some people treat me differently
:24:41. > :24:44.because of the way I look. Now when they say hello to Chloe,
:24:45. > :24:57.they say hello to me too, and that just makes me
:24:58. > :24:59.feel so happy. I feel like she's
:25:00. > :25:12.part of the family. Max, thank you so much
:25:13. > :25:17.for telling us all about Chloe. You are both wonderful
:25:18. > :25:20.and we are so happy for you. You've been so generous before,
:25:21. > :25:26.and for that we thank you. Tonight, we are asking
:25:27. > :25:32.for your help once more. Tonight, you can help other children
:25:33. > :25:35.like Max by calling 03457 33 22 33. Standard geographic
:25:36. > :25:39.charges will apply. Or if you would prefer,
:25:40. > :25:44.you can donate online I've got twin sisters,
:25:45. > :26:08.both called Greg, and I hold the world record for bad
:26:09. > :26:10.jokes told in one minute? It was just a very clever way
:26:11. > :26:15.of seamlessly linking Because it's time for Rob Brydon,
:26:16. > :26:19.Lee Mack, David Mitchell and some very important guests
:26:20. > :26:22.in our Would I Lie To You Children Good evening and welcome
:26:23. > :26:30.to a very special edition of Would I Lie To You
:26:31. > :26:33.for Children In Need. On Lee Mack's team tonight,
:26:34. > :26:37.ten-year-old unicorn And 11-year-old football
:26:38. > :26:46.mad Jack from Wrexham. And on David Mitchell's team
:26:47. > :26:49.tonight, nine-year-old self-confessed tomboy
:26:50. > :26:51.Zara from Nottingham. And nine-year-old aspiring inventor
:26:52. > :27:02.Adit from Harrow. Ah, now then, there's
:27:03. > :27:12.a box under the desk. Could you first of all read out
:27:13. > :27:16.the card, Kitty, that's in there, and then when you've read it out,
:27:17. > :27:21.place the object on the desk. This is the autograph I got
:27:22. > :27:24.from Lee Mack after I accidentally Now, Lee, maybe you could read
:27:25. > :27:28.to us what it was that It certainly sounds
:27:29. > :27:45.like the sort of joke Very working class
:27:46. > :27:56.and down-to-earth. Could you change that
:27:57. > :27:59.to ASDA or Lidl? Lee Mack was in a Waitrose cafe
:28:00. > :28:02.having a pheasant wrap? I wanted to get his attention,
:28:03. > :28:04.so I walked over. Kitty, why would you want
:28:05. > :28:11.to get his attention? So you walked up to him,
:28:12. > :28:18.and did he seem friendly, Kitty? Yeah.
:28:19. > :28:39.He might have been with, like... And then I was like, "Oh,
:28:40. > :28:54.sorry, sorry, sorry." And then we got someone to come
:28:55. > :28:56.and clear it up. And then I said,
:28:57. > :29:03."Can I get your autograph?" And then when you gave it to me,
:29:04. > :29:06.I was like, OK, wow. They don't care about autographs any
:29:07. > :29:19.more, it's all this, innit? I don't know if he had his phone
:29:20. > :29:29.on him, but a selfie, then. You'd have asked for
:29:30. > :29:32.a selfie on my phone? And then expected me to say,
:29:33. > :29:34."Here, have this?" Why didn't you want
:29:35. > :29:38.to meet her again? Why did you wish
:29:39. > :29:38.you'd never met her? I think it was to do
:29:39. > :29:41.with the scalding pain in my legs. And how do we know that that's
:29:42. > :29:43.a Waitrose napkin? Do you know the difference?
:29:44. > :29:51.No. Because if you do,
:29:52. > :29:53.we're in business. Would you like us to pass
:29:54. > :29:55.you the evidence? "I wish we'd never
:29:56. > :30:03.met," no full stop. So, what do you think
:30:04. > :30:06.then, David's team? I don't think you would
:30:07. > :30:13.write on a napkin. I can play a TV theme
:30:14. > :30:32.tune on the thing Rob I tell you what, this
:30:33. > :30:49.is going to be interesting. Well, I don't know, you're so small,
:30:50. > :30:54.Rob, it's hard to get a perspective. It could be something
:30:55. > :30:59.you find in a Kinder Egg. Well, you tell us,
:31:00. > :31:03.you know what it is, Adit. It's not a trumpet, it's not
:31:04. > :31:08.a trumpet. You say you play the theme tune to a
:31:09. > :31:17.television show? Yeah.
:31:18. > :31:19.Which one, which TV show? That's a good question,
:31:20. > :31:20.which show? OK.
:31:21. > :31:27.Any others? I can't really remember
:31:28. > :31:30.the other ones. You see, now we're in this tricky
:31:31. > :31:36.situation, aren't we, because if we ask him to play it
:31:37. > :31:39.and he's telling the truth, he will deliberately
:31:40. > :31:41.not be able to play it, I think if we just discuss it,
:31:42. > :31:50.and then if it's true, I don't think it's true
:31:51. > :32:03.because he said he knows how to play a theme tune and he said,
:32:04. > :32:06."I can't remember the others." So you're not happy that he's
:32:07. > :32:08.changing the story. Yeah, my wife's got a similar
:32:09. > :32:19.face to that. You think it's true and he's
:32:20. > :32:26.pretending he didn't know what kind of instrument
:32:27. > :32:27.it was? I'm going with Jack
:32:28. > :32:31.and saying it's true. PLAYS THEME TO BLACKADDER
:32:32. > :32:57.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Wow! That noise signals time is up
:32:58. > :33:29.and it's the end of the show. In real life, lying
:33:30. > :33:39.is a bit like me. Thank you so much to Rob, Lee,
:33:40. > :33:55.and David, as well as Jack, Although, obviously
:33:56. > :34:01.I must stress, honesty That's why I always, 100%, tell
:34:02. > :34:08.the truth. My advice would be don't breathe
:34:09. > :34:27.in for the next five or ten minutes. Here's Gaby Roslin to
:34:28. > :34:31.say a big thank you. Staff and customers here at ASDA
:34:32. > :34:34.have been helping out And the money, of course, goes to
:34:35. > :34:38.the young people here in the UK. And this year, they're continuing
:34:39. > :34:41.their amazing fundraising. Mummy, can she please have this

:35:38. > :35:46.people have raised. Now, Greg, what were
:35:47. > :35:56.you doing in the 1980s? Mainly running around pretending
:35:57. > :35:58.to be Michelangelo. Well, the rest of country
:35:59. > :36:12.was obsessed with these things. Well, while Greg struggles
:36:13. > :36:25.with an old classic, in Walford they're doing

:51:25. > :51:27.across the road from where When I was having my last IV
:51:28. > :51:32.chemotherapy, I looked out of the window to see the kids
:51:33. > :51:37.joyously playing at Maggie's. I knew, from that moment on,

:52:06. > :52:07.and they just feel that Maggie's is about having a space
:52:08. > :52:14.to talk about feelings but trying to make sure it's not
:52:15. > :52:17.done in a pushy way. Trying to give kids particularly
:52:18. > :52:20.a range of different angles to think about how they might express what's
:52:21. > :52:22.going on for them. It's normal to feel anxious
:52:23. > :52:27.and a bit frightened, but talking about it can
:52:28. > :52:29.make a real difference. I wouldn't really talk to anyone
:52:30. > :52:46.else, I don't think. In July 2015, Annette
:52:47. > :52:50.was told that her cancer had spread and this time,
:52:51. > :52:56.it was incurable. We just sat down on the bed one
:52:57. > :53:03.night and they could tell we were really upset and we just
:53:04. > :53:08.said to them, you know, things have got really bad and it's
:53:09. > :53:12.in Mummy's bones and bone marrow. And we just all had a cry
:53:13. > :53:21.for about an hour and then the first Because of your donations,
:53:22. > :53:26.Maggie's was there to support It just worries me because I don't
:53:27. > :53:35.know what's happening next. When I talk about it,
:53:36. > :53:38.I let out my feelings, The uncertainty for the kids
:53:39. > :53:46.is something that It's not knowing, not knowing how
:53:47. > :53:51.they will be able And I want to spend every moment
:53:52. > :53:57.with them, but I don't know where I'm going to be in six
:53:58. > :54:00.months' time or a year. I just want them to enjoy
:54:01. > :54:03.life and be happy. And, to me, it's a comfort knowing
:54:04. > :54:17.that Maggie's is there for them. Of course, our thoughts
:54:18. > :54:19.are with you all. And of course, Maggie's
:54:20. > :54:27.will be there for you all. One of those sessions

:08:03. > :08:05.communication apart from his smile Just to see a smile,
:08:06. > :08:08.it just means everything. When he was just seven months old,
:08:09. > :08:11.Kristian developed a rare form of epilepsy where
:08:12. > :08:16.seizures are relentless. He was a tiny little
:08:17. > :08:19.baby in our arms having His whole body tensing
:08:20. > :08:27.and shaking uncontrollably. For four years, he didn't have one
:08:28. > :08:31.day break of seizures. With each seizure it's killing brain

:08:43. > :08:56.are more under control. But he has been left
:08:57. > :09:00.with profound learning difficulties. He's seven but his brain
:09:01. > :09:06.is functioning more You have to be near him at all times
:09:07. > :09:13.because he just doesn't have any real sense of how
:09:14. > :09:19.to behave in a way. He doesn't have a concept of danger,
:09:20. > :09:22.so you've got to keep It consumes your whole

:09:58. > :10:03.everything in there. Your donations pay for Stacy,
:10:04. > :10:05.a health care support worker. Kristian is just a lovely little
:10:06. > :10:12.boy, so full of life. It's just a pleasure to look
:10:13. > :10:15.after him when he comes here. He will just take your hand and lead
:10:16. > :10:19.you to wherever he wants to go. They've got everything that
:10:20. > :10:24.you could possibly think But the biggest thing,
:10:25. > :10:28.really, is that he can be somewhere He hasn't got somebody behind him
:10:29. > :10:35.saying, "Don't do that. He's got people saying,

:16:13. > :16:22.so much. And who do we have here? Harlow Gymnastics Club! What sort of
:16:23. > :16:33.things have you been doing? Jumping, skipping, speed bounces. How many
:16:34. > :16:38.jumps did you do? 9747! And I know that you raised an amazing ?4000 in
:16:39. > :16:46.one week - how many people took part? Just over 700 members of all
:16:47. > :16:51.ages. Thank you. We have had to say a quick word with you, and you
:16:52. > :16:57.recorded a song with Tony Hadley? We did, right here, last week. And it
:16:58. > :17:02.is number 24 on iTunes. Download it, help us get to number one! We will
:17:03. > :17:09.be hearing some more amazing stories from our fundraisers later one. But
:17:10. > :17:38.we must go back to our band, of 11- to 13-year-olds, School Of Rock.
:17:39. > :17:45.I want to raise money for people in need and I kind of want to make
:17:46. > :17:49.Pudsey. Cake sales. Helping other kids that don't really have the
:17:50. > :17:54.opportunities and facilities we have. You feel like Superman since
:17:55. > :18:08.you're saving people all over the world.
:18:09. > :18:26.Graham Norton and Ade Adepitan! Good evening, everybody! Lovely to see
:18:27. > :18:30.you! Would you look at this? Graham Norton and Ade Adepitan presenting
:18:31. > :18:34.Children in Need, together at last! Amazing, I wonder if they can work
:18:35. > :18:38.out who is who? We should have gone with nametags. If you have just
:18:39. > :18:42.tuned in, you are watching Children in Need, not an old episode of The
:18:43. > :18:48.Odd Couple. Well, we are a bit odd,
:18:49. > :18:51.but we're not a couple. The power of Pudsey has
:18:52. > :18:57.brought us together! Yes, and that's a lot
:18:58. > :19:00.of pressure, Graham. Not only have we got to style this
:19:01. > :19:03.out and pretend we're a couple of old pros who know what we're
:19:04. > :19:07.doing, we also have to raise as much money as possible and have some
:19:08. > :19:10.seriously big shoes to fill. So let's do Sir Terry proud and make
:19:11. > :19:19.this a fantastic night. Here's what's coming up
:19:20. > :19:35.in the next hour. Coming Up, Going For Gold, Its Team
:19:36. > :19:41.Gb! David Brent! Oscar Winner Eddie Redmayne! And Craig David sings the
:19:42. > :19:49.official Children in Need single! So, Ade, we don't know each other
:19:50. > :19:53.very well. Do you think we should start off
:19:54. > :19:58.with some basic questions or something?
:19:59. > :20:00.Sounds like a great idea. Great, we know each
:20:01. > :20:08.other much better now. Now, here on Children in Need,
:20:09. > :20:13.we always encourage you to Do Your And every year, The One Show
:20:14. > :20:19.take that to the extreme with their gruelling Rickshaw
:20:20. > :20:23.Challenge. Six young riders set off
:20:24. > :20:26.from Jedburgh in Scotland last Friday, and have been
:20:27. > :20:29.pedalling their way 470 miles down the East Coast of England,
:20:30. > :20:51.raising money and awareness It has been amazing, even as an
:20:52. > :20:59.athlete, like I am, I appreciate what they do. The weather has been
:21:00. > :21:03.an immense challenge. We are delighted to say they are about to
:21:04. > :21:09.cross the finishing line, so we can go to Regent Street and Alex Jones.
:21:10. > :21:16.This is the end, can you believe it, of the sixth ritual challenge. They
:21:17. > :21:19.will be coming under the Christmas lights after the ride of a lifetime.
:21:20. > :21:40.And what a ride it spin. Eight days of early starts. Then the
:21:41. > :21:47.crowds come out, six young men and women, coming-of-age in front of our
:21:48. > :22:02.eyes, giving all they've got. Even though they have less than most of
:22:03. > :22:12.us, they've touched your hearts. And you've responded more generously
:22:13. > :22:19.than ever before. Team Rickshaw has conquered the east coast. Now, it's
:22:20. > :22:23.time for the West End. Yes, they are bringing it home, everybody! This is
:22:24. > :22:26.the moment we've all been waiting for. Team Rickshaw 2016, with Andy
:22:27. > :22:40.in the saddle. Here they come! # I'd bare my soul
:22:41. > :22:47.to a total stranger APPLAUSE
:22:48. > :23:57.CHEERING Come on, come on! Ebony! Wow! We're
:23:58. > :24:06.here! You are here! Give us the total. Apparently, it's going to be
:24:07. > :24:10.predicted behind us. Last night it was at 1.4 million. What are we
:24:11. > :24:13.going to see? What have Britain and the UK donated? Let's have a look.
:24:14. > :24:36.It's 3 million! Thank you, thank you come thank you
:24:37. > :24:43.to everybody who has donated. And I mean, guys, seriously, ?3.5 million!
:24:44. > :24:49.What do you want to say to all of those lovely people who donated?
:24:50. > :24:59.Just look down that lens. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank
:25:00. > :25:03.you! Thank you so much for coming to support us and thank you. You have
:25:04. > :25:13.all been wonderful and made this challenge what it is. Thank you,
:25:14. > :25:24.thank you, Graham and Ade, it's back to you. Thank you to all of you, and
:25:25. > :25:30.all of the one Show team. It was incredible. Absolutely amazing.
:25:31. > :25:35.Tonight, what we are doing could not be more simple. We are here to
:25:36. > :25:40.support children in the UK need help. That's it, nothing complicated
:25:41. > :25:44.about it. Some children need help, and we are all here to give it to
:25:45. > :25:51.them. Here is James McAvoy to tell you more.
:25:52. > :25:55.A family I'll call the Martins to protect their identity.
:25:56. > :25:58.But what I'm about to tell you is true.
:25:59. > :25:59.There's Mum, Dad and five lovely children.
:26:00. > :26:02.Two years ago, one of the children, a little girl, was diagnosed
:26:03. > :26:09.You don't need me to tell you how devastated
:26:10. > :26:15.Their lives were and still are shattered.
:26:16. > :26:17.And then, unbearably, just three months later,
:26:18. > :26:20.a second child in the family was diagnosed with the same kind
:26:21. > :26:28.She's had to undergo surgery and intensive chemotherapy just
:26:29. > :26:33.As any family coping with a severe illness will tell you,
:26:34. > :26:36.caring for a child in hospital is all-consuming.
:26:37. > :26:39.The strain on the family is immense and this is a family already
:26:40. > :26:47.Mum stayed at home to look after three of the children and Dad
:26:48. > :26:50.gave up his job to become a full-time carer at the hospital.
:26:51. > :26:52.The loss of income has meant that the family,
:26:53. > :26:59.The little one-year-old is now at home but the side effects
:27:00. > :27:02.of chemotherapy means that she's very sick.
:27:03. > :27:05.Her sheets have to be washed constantly and her mattress
:27:06. > :27:09.The family just don't have the money to buy new ones.
:27:10. > :27:13.This family has been through so much.
:27:14. > :27:18.But, thanks to your donations to Children in Need,
:27:19. > :27:24.an organisation called Buttle UK has been able to help.
:27:25. > :27:26.They supply emergency essentials for families living
:27:27. > :27:31.Thanks to you, they were able to provide a grant that bought
:27:32. > :27:35.She now has somewhere warm and dry to sleep and,
:27:36. > :27:41.There are 3.9 million children living in poverty in the UK.
:27:42. > :27:45.It's not their fault that they find themselves in this situation.
:27:46. > :27:48.And every year, Buttle UK receives thousands of applications
:27:49. > :27:58.The simple fact is, they cannot afford to fund all of them.
:27:59. > :28:06.You can help by calling 03457 33 22 33 or visiting
:28:07. > :28:22.Look, I'm new to Children in Need, I'm new to all of this and I have
:28:23. > :28:25.never asked for money on TV before so bear with me - but I grew up
:28:26. > :28:31.And I remember being at Stoke Mandeville Hospital
:28:32. > :28:34.and Children in Need helping my friends
:28:35. > :28:36.there get wheelchairs so they could play sport.

:29:07. > :29:08.If you're watching, Ed, don't worry we're laughing
:29:09. > :29:14.But while Balls and Company head up to Blackpool,
:29:15. > :29:16.Strictly opened up their dancefloor to Children in Need
:29:17. > :29:22.Back in Rio, they were going for gold - but tonight,
:29:23. > :29:24.Team GB are vying for the Pudsey-on-a-glitterball trophy.
:29:25. > :29:44.From the Children Strictly ballroom, this is the Strictly

:31:14. > :31:15.away with the Children in Need Pudsey trophy.
:31:16. > :31:20.And not only are they rising to the Strictly challenge tonight,
:31:21. > :31:23.they're also hoping to raise lots of money for thousands
:31:24. > :31:28.of disadvantaged children living right here in the UK.
:31:29. > :31:31.There's no voting tonight, as our Children in Need champion

:31:34. > :31:49.The number is: pick up the phone.
:31:50. > :31:50.Please, please donate anything you can.
:31:51. > :31:56.Our athletes obviously trained hard for the Rio Games,
:31:57. > :31:58.but how hard have they trained for tonight?
:31:59. > :32:08.I'm Hollie Webb, and I was a member of the women's Team GB hockey team.
:32:09. > :32:10.And I was the one who took the winning penalty.
:32:11. > :32:12.It was the greatest moment of my entire life.
:32:13. > :32:15.Actually, I probably shouldn't say that, it should have

:32:29. > :32:31.He did Strictly, actually, in 2014 - he's really, really intrigued
:32:32. > :32:36.I'm Lutalo Muhammad, Olympic silver medallist
:32:37. > :32:43.In my Olympic final, I was leading up till the last second.
:32:44. > :32:46.Each time I do watch it, I do feel some of the same emotion.
:32:47. > :32:49.I was so close to being Olympic champion!
:32:50. > :32:53.I mean, I don't cry or anything - I'm far too manly for that.
:32:54. > :32:55.I'm Joe Clarke, I'm a kayaker, and I won gold in
:32:56. > :33:00.One of the first things my mum said to me was, "When are
:33:01. > :33:08.Training's going really well.
:33:09. > :33:14.The harder I try, the more confused I'm getting.
:33:15. > :33:16.I'm really scared that my mind's just going to go blank.
:33:17. > :33:19.Really nervous - probably more nervous than I was at the Olympics.
:33:20. > :33:28.She's worked me really hard and never given me any rest
:33:29. > :33:30.so hopefully it's worth it in the end and I can win
:33:31. > :33:37.CHEERING Dancing for the Pudsey Glitterball Trophy,
:33:38. > :36:49.MUSIC: The Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga

:37:15. > :37:17.Hailey, Lance, Andrea, Tommy and of course,
:37:18. > :37:22.let's not forget Dave Arch and his amazing orchestra.
:37:23. > :37:26.So they are choosing our champion tonight -
:37:27. > :37:28.let's find out if the judges think our athletes
:37:29. > :37:30.are on the right track with that performance.
:37:31. > :37:34.Well, may I just say first of all, thank you so much for giving
:37:35. > :37:38.Hear, hear. APPLAUSE It was brilliant, well done.
:37:39. > :38:05.Craig, our athletes are of course incredibly fit, they're also
:38:06. > :38:11.Well, yes, it did, as a matter of fact, and I'm very proud of them
:38:12. > :38:16.But I'm going to be talking a little bit about Hollie.
:38:17. > :38:24.I'm going to say, if I could ever play hockey, darling,
:38:25. > :38:30.You are absolutely amazing at that.
:38:31. > :38:36.Well, I can't believe, actually, all of you, how much
:38:37. > :38:41.But I have to say, I couldn't take my eyes off your
:38:42. > :38:47.Divine lines that you made, lovely lunge at the very end.
:38:48. > :39:02.So who will be crowned Children in Need champions?
:39:03. > :39:05.Tonight, the judges will make a group decision, while they confer,
:39:06. > :39:15.Now remember, there is no voting at home tonight,
:39:16. > :39:19.but we really want you to help them raise as much money as possible
:39:20. > :39:21.for Children in Need, so don't forget, every penny
:39:22. > :39:27.And the number to call is: right here in the UK.
:39:28. > :39:32.So now it's time to see who is going to take home
:39:33. > :39:45.On behalf of all the judges, Len, as head judge, can you please tell
:39:46. > :39:51.May I first say, if they gave out medals for commitment and effort,
:39:52. > :39:59.you'd all be gold medallists, because you were brilliant.
:40:00. > :40:03.But we have come to a conclusion, and our winners and Children in Need
:40:04. > :40:24.Oh, I don't believe it!
:40:25. > :40:52.You came so close to winning gold in Rio.
:40:53. > :40:58.I just want to say a big thank you to the judges,
:40:59. > :41:01.And of course to my lovely dance partner Karen.
:41:02. > :41:08.Brilliant, thank you so much for taking part.
:41:09. > :41:11.A huge thank you to all our couples and to you at home for
:41:12. > :41:16.We'll be back very soon, but in the meantime...
:41:17. > :41:38.Well done to all our Olympians and of course congratulations
:41:39. > :41:40.to Lutalo Mohammed for bringing home the gold!
:41:41. > :41:50.It was the flying kicks that done it. It was amazing. Got some moves
:41:51. > :41:53.like that, Graham? No. And I'm sure you'll all be delighted
:41:54. > :41:56.to know, that finally puts us Actually, I was out in Rio
:41:57. > :42:02.for the Paralympics No. Not even basketball. You want I
:42:03. > :42:13.could do a few baskets. That's notreally
:42:14. > :42:17.what I was thinking. Here's Matt Baker to tell
:42:18. > :42:21.you about someone brilliant. Of all of my involvement
:42:22. > :42:26.with Children in Need, the thing that I love the most
:42:27. > :42:29.is meeting so many remarkable youngsters and I get to see
:42:30. > :42:32.first-hand how much your donations mean to them and how they give them
:42:33. > :42:35.a chance to make the most Youngsters like Seb,
:42:36. > :42:43.who you're about to meet now. And, despite facing the biggest
:42:44. > :42:48.of challenges in life, his determination to just keep
:42:49. > :42:51.on going is humbling and I'm sure 'It's Seb and Ben up a tree.'
:42:52. > :42:59.as inspirational as I do. Seb
:43:00. > :43:03.and Ben, always Seb and Ben. They were always outside,
:43:04. > :43:04.always playing. They've grown up doing
:43:05. > :43:10.so many things together. They played football
:43:11. > :43:12.on Saturdays, rugby on Sundays. 'Go!' Seb is very competitive
:43:13. > :43:19.in pretty much everything. On 13th April 2014, the boys played
:43:20. > :43:29.in their first rugby tournament. We just expected to have a good
:43:30. > :43:37.journey back. Have a laugh on the bus
:43:38. > :43:40.with all our friends. We were just travelling along
:43:41. > :43:43.and then suddenly I just heard this shout of, "Stop the bus,
:43:44. > :43:50.stop the bus!" And I turned round to the guy next
:43:51. > :43:53.to me and the door Somebody shouted, "Somebody's fallen
:43:54. > :43:59.out. Seb had gone under the back
:44:00. > :44:09.wheels of the coach. The coach had run
:44:10. > :44:11.over his right leg. I got there, held his hands
:44:12. > :44:17.and told him I was here. He just looked at me and said,
:44:18. > :44:27."Am I going to die, Daddy?" Seb's injuries were so severe that
:44:28. > :44:31.doctors had no choice but to amputate his right leg
:44:32. > :44:34.above the knee and he had to be And they told us it's a severe brain
:44:35. > :44:45.injury and to expect that, you know, when Seb wakes up,
:44:46. > :44:52.he's going to be a different boy. When Seb came out of his coma,
:44:53. > :44:56.the first time I saw him he kind of just looked at me and was kind
:44:57. > :45:00.of like crying. He was frustrated he
:45:01. > :45:08.couldn't talk to me. At that point in time,
:45:09. > :45:12.we'd got no idea where to go next. After five months in hospital,
:45:13. > :45:30.Seb's family turned to The Children's Trust,
:45:31. > :45:32.a rehabilitation centre for children It is supported by your donations
:45:33. > :45:37.to Children in Need. When Seb came to us he had a lot
:45:38. > :45:41.of difficulties, a lot of problems It was so hard for him because Seb
:45:42. > :45:45.was always used to succeeding. He'd lost a lot of skills,
:45:46. > :45:55.but he was bright, cheeky and raring to go and very keen
:45:56. > :45:59.to progress with his rehab. With sheer determination
:46:00. > :46:04.and constant support, Seb started to learn many things
:46:05. > :46:08.all over again. The Children's Trust
:46:09. > :46:11.were by his side all the way. And in December 2014,
:46:12. > :46:16.Seb came home. After my accident,
:46:17. > :46:22.I wanted to get strong. But then, now I realise
:46:23. > :46:32.it's not impossible. You've just got to put your mind
:46:33. > :46:36.to it and you can do anything. Seb can do whatever
:46:37. > :46:39.he wants, really. There's nobody that's
:46:40. > :46:43.going to stop him. Playing with your brother,
:46:44. > :46:46.playing with your mates. I missed it so much and I'm pleased
:46:47. > :46:49.I can do it again. That's what The Children's Trust
:46:50. > :47:12.has done to help me. I tell you what is fantastic, Seb,
:47:13. > :47:20.you are. Look at you now, just brilliant.
:47:21. > :47:23.As you saw, Seb was given a huge amount of support
:47:24. > :47:25.by the Children's Trust and we need to keep supporting
:47:26. > :47:30.You know how to do that by now I think but just in case
:47:31. > :47:34.You can donate online at bbc.co.uk/ Pudsey or you can
:47:35. > :47:38.Thank you. Right, there's a whole load
:47:39. > :47:41.of amazing work going on around the country this time of year,
:47:42. > :47:44.so let's take a look at how BBC Children in Need is supporting
:47:45. > :48:04.just introduce to you a gorgeous and brave little girl, Chloe, who is
