0:03:27 > 0:03:28- I went up for lunch.

0:03:29 > 0:03:32- Then the first tree I chopped - straight after lunch...

0:03:32 > 0:03:36- ..I remember hearing a crack - and thinking it wasn't right.

0:03:36 > 0:03:39- I ran away but the tree hit me - across my back.

0:03:41 > 0:03:47- I knew straight away. I went to feel - my legs but everything was numb.

0:03:47 > 0:03:49- I couldn't feel anything.

0:03:50 > 0:03:54- I sort of remember leaving - in the helicopter.

0:03:55 > 0:03:58- I was out of it then - until I reached Stoke.

0:03:59 > 0:04:03- Rhys spent eight weeks having - treatment at Stoke Hospital.

0:04:03 > 0:04:07- He spent another seven weeks - recovering in Gobowen.

0:04:07 > 0:04:11- That's where he heard it was - unlikely he would walk again.

0:04:15 > 0:04:19- I think the biggest shock - was for my mother and father.

0:04:20 > 0:04:25- I remained positive throughout. - I still think I'm quite positive.
