0:38:39 > 0:38:42- The Christmas parties - are on the horizon...

0:38:43 > 0:38:46- ..so our panel has put some make-up - to the test.

0:38:46 > 0:38:48- But which make-up?

0:38:48 > 0:38:52- It's the all-important foundation.

0:38:52 > 0:38:56- We'll start with Bethan - who had the Lancome that's 26.

0:38:56 > 0:38:58- What did you think of it?

0:38:58 > 0:39:01- It claims to stay on the skin - for a day or 24 hours.

0:39:02 > 0:39:05- I don't think it stays on - for that length of time.

0:39:05 > 0:39:08- Few people need it for 24 hours.

0:39:08 > 0:39:12- I would say that it stayed on - my skin for at least 12 hours.

0:39:13 > 0:39:14- Did it feel heavy?

0:39:14 > 0:39:16- Did it feel heavy?- - No, it didn't feel heavy at all.

0:39:16 > 0:39:19- It felt natural - but didn't cover everything.

0:39:19 > 0:39:24- I didn't cover my freckles but - it did hide a multitude of sins!

0:39:25 > 0:39:29- It did what it claimed to do - but didn't last the 24 hours.

0:39:30 > 0:39:33- What did you think - of the Lancome, Rita?

0:39:34 > 0:39:36- I liked it and it was easy to apply.

0:39:36 > 0:39:38- I liked the Lancome.

0:39:38 > 0:39:39- You didn't find it too heavy.

0:39:39 > 0:39:42- You didn't find it too heavy.- - No, I liked the consistency.

0:39:43 > 0:39:44- What about you, Emma?

0:39:44 > 0:39:46- What about you, Emma?- - I really like the Lancome.

0:39:46 > 0:39:50- It didn't stay on the skin - for as long as it claimed...

0:39:50 > 0:39:56- ..but I thought the texture of it - felt lovely on my skin.

0:39:57 > 0:39:59- You all have different skin.

0:39:59 > 0:40:03- As a product, - it suited all of your skin types.

0:40:03 > 0:40:04- That was the Lancome.

0:40:05 > 0:40:09- Next, we have Clinique - and what did you think of it, Rita?

0:40:09 > 0:40:15- Yes, I did like it - but I expected it to be darker.

0:40:15 > 0:40:18- It wasn't the colour - that I expected it to be.

0:40:19 > 0:40:22- I thought it would have been - a different colour.

0:40:22 > 0:40:28- I didn't feel that it had - the thickness of the Lancome...

0:40:28 > 0:40:30- ..but I did like it.

0:40:30 > 0:40:36- I applied it but felt that - I needed to use some bronzer too...

0:40:36 > 0:40:38- ..because I felt quite pale.

0:40:38 > 0:40:41- But I have to say - that I did like it.

0:40:41 > 0:40:47- It was fine as a cream and it stayed - on the skin for the twelve hours.

0:40:47 > 0:40:49- What about you, Emma?

0:40:49 > 0:40:52- I felt that it was too runny.

0:40:52 > 0:40:57- If I'm honest, - then I didn't like it at all.

0:40:57 > 0:40:59- It did nothing for my skin...

0:40:59 > 0:41:03- ..but I suspect that it's fine - for other skin types.

0:41:04 > 0:41:06- I would choose the Lancome - out of those two.

0:41:07 > 0:41:12- I needed to apply more of the - Clinique to get the look I wanted.

0:41:12 > 0:41:15- They are all expensive products too.

0:41:15 > 0:41:19- Yes, and I liked the Clinique - and it did last.

0:41:19 > 0:41:20- I found it greasy.

0:41:21 > 0:41:26- I had to work harder to get it - to sit on the skin properly...

0:41:26 > 0:41:29- ..but it covered everything - and stayed on the skin.

0:41:30 > 0:41:34- You have nothing to cover - as you all have wonderful skin.

0:41:34 > 0:41:37- What about the Estee Lauder, Emma?

0:41:37 > 0:41:39- I don't know where to start!

0:41:40 > 0:41:42- I really didn't like this one...

0:41:42 > 0:41:45- ..but it did stay on my skin - for the full 24 hours.

0:41:46 > 0:41:48- I had to scrub my skin - to get it off!

0:41:49 > 0:41:52- It's really thick...

0:41:52 > 0:41:55- ..and smells like paint.

0:41:55 > 0:41:57- You didn't like that one!

0:41:57 > 0:42:02- No, because it has - such a thick consistency...

0:42:03 > 0:42:07- ..but it did stay on my skin - for the 24 hours.

0:42:07 > 0:42:10- But you didn't like the feel of it - on your face.

0:42:11 > 0:42:16- It dried quickly so you had to work - quickly to get the required look.

0:42:16 > 0:42:19- It was wet when you applied it...

0:42:19 > 0:42:22- ..but it dried very quickly - so I used more of it.

0:42:23 > 0:42:26- It's called Double Wear.

0:42:26 > 0:42:30- One layer of it felt like three or - four layers of a normal foundation.

0:42:31 > 0:42:32- What did you think, Bethan?

0:42:32 > 0:42:33- What did you think, Bethan?- - I agree with Emma.

0:42:33 > 0:42:35- It wasn't very easy to apply.

0:42:35 > 0:42:39- It was thick and felt hard - and heavy on the skin.

0:42:39 > 0:42:45- I felt that the bronzer and blusher - that I wore on top of it...

0:42:45 > 0:42:50- ..wasn't suitable for the foundation - and didn't sit properly.

0:42:50 > 0:42:53- If I bought it, - I'd have to change my other make-up.

0:42:54 > 0:42:57- Having said that, - it did stay on the skin...

0:42:57 > 0:42:59- ..so it does what it says.

0:42:59 > 0:43:01- Was it difficult to remove?

0:43:01 > 0:43:05- Was it difficult to remove?- - Yes, and you needed more remover.

0:43:05 > 0:43:08- I know that Rita's a fan - of Estee Lauder.

0:43:08 > 0:43:11- Yes, I'm a massive fan - of Estee Lauder.

0:43:11 > 0:43:14- I don't agree - with neither Bethan nor Emma.

0:43:15 > 0:43:17- I love Estee Lauder...

0:43:17 > 0:43:21- ..and I always use - their Double Wear.

0:43:21 > 0:43:23- I'm a huge fan!

0:43:23 > 0:43:26- Do you find that it lasts all day?

0:43:27 > 0:43:30- Yes, and I don't need to touch it - after applying it.

0:43:31 > 0:43:34- I use my fingers to apply it.

0:43:34 > 0:43:37- But, oh... I love it, Sian.

0:43:38 > 0:43:40- Do you struggle to remove it?

0:43:40 > 0:43:44- No, I don't struggle - and use a wipe to remove it.

0:43:44 > 0:43:47- I might use two wipes!

0:43:47 > 0:43:49- I put some bronzer on top of it too.

0:43:50 > 0:43:53- But I'm a huge fan of Estee Lauder.

0:43:54 > 0:43:57- We've obviously got - some varied opinions.

0:43:57 > 0:44:02- I want your marks out of ten - for its long-lasting ability.

0:44:02 > 0:44:07- We'll start with the Lancome - and that's 26.

0:44:07 > 0:44:11- I'd give it nine as it doesn't last - as long but I'd definitely buy it.

0:44:12 > 0:44:14- Yes, I'd give it - nine out of ten as well.

0:44:15 > 0:44:16- And it's a nine from me too.

0:44:17 > 0:44:19- The Clinique is 23.

0:44:19 > 0:44:22- I think I'd give this one an eight.

0:44:22 > 0:44:24- It's a six.

0:44:24 > 0:44:25- I'd say eight too.

0:44:26 > 0:44:27- And the Estee Lauder.

0:44:28 > 0:44:29- It's a four out of ten.

0:44:30 > 0:44:32- It gets ten out of ten from me!

0:44:33 > 0:44:35- It's a six. Sorry, Rita.

0:44:35 > 0:44:38- If I've done my sums correctly...

0:44:38 > 0:44:42- ..then I think - the Lancome is the winner.

0:44:42 > 0:44:48- All three of you have different - skin types and you vary in age.

0:44:48 > 0:44:52- Yes, but they all do what - they claim to be able to do.

0:44:52 > 0:44:57- They do what they say on the box - but we all like different things.

0:44:57 > 0:44:59- Thank you very much.

0:45:01 > 0:45:03- That's all for this morning.

0:45:03 > 0:45:06- Make sure you join us again - next week...

0:45:06 > 0:45:09- ..but if you can't wait - another week...

0:45:09 > 0:45:12- ..then you can use the Dal Ati app.

0:45:12 > 0:45:16- We hope you enjoy Dusky Grey - and the song, Gad Fi Gredu.

0:45:16 > 0:45:20- A very good morning to you - from us all in Llanelli.
