0:03:09 > 0:03:14- At seven o'clock, I had a scan and - there wasn't any water around her.

0:03:14 > 0:03:18- At twelve o'clock, they chose to - carry out an emergency C-section...

0:03:18 > 0:03:25- ..because my blood pressure - was so high.

0:03:26 > 0:03:29- She was born - and weighed 1lb and 5oz...

0:03:29 > 0:03:33- ..and spent nine weeks - in an incubator.

0:03:33 > 0:03:38- She spent six weeks in Singleton - and another four in Glangwili.

0:03:39 > 0:03:44- She was so small - and couldn't retain her heat.

0:03:44 > 0:03:46- It was difficult to feed her...

0:03:47 > 0:03:53- ..so they started in the first week - with 0.5ml of milk an hour.

0:03:53 > 0:03:58- It was a tiny amount - because her stomach was so small.

0:03:59 > 0:04:05- The discovered that she had MRSA - so she had barrier nursing.

0:04:06 > 0:04:09- She had one-to-one - with a single nurse.

0:04:09 > 0:04:13- She couldn't treat - any other babies...

0:04:14 > 0:04:18- ..in case she passed - the staphylococcus to other babies.

0:04:18 > 0:04:25- We're an agricultural family - so staphylococcus was on our body.

0:04:25 > 0:04:30- They weren't overly worried - but concerned about other babies.

0:04:30 > 0:04:34- We couldn't move her or touch her.

0:04:34 > 0:04:40- It was very difficult - because I couldn't hold my own baby.

0:04:40 > 0:04:46- She was carried to me - with all the wires and tubes.

0:04:46 > 0:04:50- All the nurses were willing to help.

0:04:50 > 0:04:57- I was luck to spend - 30 minutes a day with her.

0:04:59 > 0:05:06- She was 10lbs and 10oz a few days - ago and is almost seven months old.

0:05:06 > 0:05:12- Those babies born at the same time - are double her size.

0:05:12 > 0:05:17- She's healthy and I can't complain - because she's wonderful...

0:05:18 > 0:05:21- ..and we've been very lucky.

0:05:33 > 0:05:36- It was wonderful to see Betsan.
