0:04:46 > 0:04:55- ..which went to show how respected - and admired he was.

0:04:55 > 0:05:02- We were touched that so many people - came to celebrate his life and work.

0:07:15 > 0:07:22- It's hard to believe that its - 15 years since my diagnosis.

0:07:22 > 0:07:26- It is so important - to raise awareness.

0:07:26 > 0:07:34- The doctor who treated me said - that the only way forward...

0:07:34 > 0:07:40- ..was to research - into chemotherapy.

0:07:41 > 0:07:47- When I was diagnosed, people - couldn't say the word cancer.

0:07:47 > 0:07:52- People still find it difficult.

0:07:52 > 0:08:04- People ask how I'm feeling - and I feel very good.

0:08:05 > 0:08:08- I have regular check ups - and I'm still clear...

0:08:08 > 0:08:11- ..but it never leaves you.

0:08:11 > 0:08:17- You always wonder whether - it will come back somewhere else.

0:08:17 > 0:08:22- It can strike anyone, any time.

0:08:22 > 0:08:26- Let's see a clip of you discussing - the moment you received the news.

0:08:28 > 0:08:33- ..it felt like I'd just been hit - by a load of concrete blocks.

0:09:53 > 0:10:01- We caught it early.

0:10:16 > 0:10:20- It's best to check - and find out you were wrong.

0:10:20 > 0:10:25- I had cancer in the breast lobe.

0:10:25 > 0:10:37- They gave me a cocktail - of three drugs in the chemotherapy.

0:10:38 > 0:10:44- I told them my life was in their - hands and that I'd take their advice

0:10:44 > 0:10:51- You have to talk about it.

0:10:51 > 0:10:59- We all know someone - who has been affected.

0:10:59 > 0:11:04- I've lost friends to the disease.

0:11:04 > 0:11:09- Singing helped me.

0:11:09 > 0:11:15- I picked up my guitar - between treatments.

0:11:15 > 0:11:23- I think being able to talk - has helped.

0:11:23 > 0:11:33- I hope it has helped - others to hear me talk.

0:11:39 > 0:11:46- She told me not to cry and said - that illness teaches you to live.

0:11:55 > 0:11:58- ..who has been competing in the - IPC Athletics World Championships.

0:11:59 > 0:12:01- Aled won a gold medal - in the Men's Shot Put Final.

0:12:09 > 0:12:12- I'm the 2015 World Champion, - which sounds incredible to say!

0:18:00 > 0:18:04- The recently attended the ceremony - for Britain in Bloom in Sunderland.

0:18:11 > 0:18:16- Wolfscastle has won the Wales - in Bloom competition eleven times.

0:18:16 > 0:18:21- This year, we were invited - to represent Wales...
