0:19:16 > 0:19:23- The midwife advised medical help - as she thought it was a seizure.

0:19:24 > 0:19:33- Seren suffers from various seizures - that last for seconds to an hour.

0:19:33 > 0:19:42- She had up to 100 seizures a day - that persisted throughout the day.

0:19:43 > 0:19:49- Seren has already undergone surgery - that hasn't made a great difference.

0:19:49 > 0:19:53- More major surgery - lies ahead of Seren...

0:19:53 > 0:19:58- ..and this time - they'll operate deeper in her brain.

0:19:58 > 0:20:02- The surgery is similar - to her previous treatment.

0:20:03 > 0:20:08- But back in February wires were - inserted deep into her brain...

0:20:09 > 0:20:13- ..to give a clearer insight - of what areas are operable.

0:20:18 > 0:20:22- ..but Seren - takes everything in her stride.

0:20:43 > 0:20:48- Seren adores Ilan, her 12 year old - brother and the feeling is mutual.

0:21:21 > 0:21:27- ..but the daily strain is eased by - the Roald Dahl Children's Charity...

0:21:31 > 0:21:35- Roald Dahl's - Marvellous Children Charity...

0:21:36 > 0:21:41- ..was established 25 years ago, - a year after Roald Dahl's death.

0:21:41 > 0:21:46- We fund nurses and grants - for families of poorly children.

0:21:47 > 0:21:52- We've got five Roald Dahl nurses - who take care of epileptic children.

0:21:53 > 0:21:56- One of our nurses in Wales - in Roz Atkinson.

0:21:57 > 0:22:05- She works in Cardiff and nurses - children with severe epilepsy.

0:22:05 > 0:22:11- She has over 700 children - under her care across Wales.

0:22:41 > 0:22:46- On this occasion, we've had - a few weeks to reflect upon it.
