0:05:54 > 0:06:00- Some situations remain unreported, - such as the refugees in the Sudan.

0:06:09 > 0:06:16- These people risk a lack of water, - cleanliness, food and shelter...

0:06:20 > 0:06:25- We should praise Aberystwyth - for welcoming these refugees...

0:06:25 > 0:06:30- ..but it's tragic - that wars still exist in the world.

0:06:31 > 0:06:37- It's so important to support and - help them in the best way we can.

0:15:10 > 0:15:13- In Ceredigion, a cafe has prepared - these meals for quite some time...

0:15:13 > 0:15:17- ..and recently celebrated - a very special milestone.

0:15:21 > 0:15:24- There's cause for celebration - at the Emlyn Cafe in Tanygroes.

0:15:24 > 0:15:30- The cafe has prepared and served - meals-on-wheels for 25 years.

0:15:30 > 0:15:33- It was started by John...

0:15:33 > 0:15:38- ..but three generations of Evans' - help with this important service.

0:15:39 > 0:15:44- It all started when a councillor - from the village visited the cafe.

0:15:44 > 0:15:50- He'd sit at the table and say, - "Oh, I can't, I can't."

0:15:50 > 0:15:54- One day, I asked him what was wrong.

0:15:55 > 0:15:59- He said that he couldn't get meals - for a blind woman from Pentregat.

0:15:59 > 0:16:05- I agreed to help - until they found someone else.

0:16:06 > 0:16:14- I promised one meal but was serving - three people by the end of the week!

0:16:14 > 0:16:19- It's important that we can provide - fresh and hot food every day.

0:16:19 > 0:16:26- Some elderly people only see us - and we give them healthy food.

0:16:26 > 0:16:29- There's a lot - of preparation work involved.

0:16:29 > 0:16:35- Yes, but we have plenty of staff - to help us with the workload.

0:16:40 > 0:16:45- Today, there's pork or chicken - for those who don't like pork.

0:17:24 > 0:17:29- The Emlyn Cafe - has between 50 and 60 volunteers.

0:17:29 > 0:17:33- Mererid has been doing this with - the Merched y Wawr for five years.

0:17:34 > 0:17:39- It's a special service and - a lifeline for some of its users.

0:17:39 > 0:17:44- They make a lunch every day - of the year, even on Christmas Day.
