0:02:27 > 0:02:34- We're the Magee Brothers and we beat - seven others in the group category.

0:02:34 > 0:02:41- We've also been performing around - the pubs in Carlow which was great.

0:02:49 > 0:02:53- I must admit that it has evolved - with it atmosphere and organization.

0:02:58 > 0:03:02- But the standard is great - and the atmosphere is wonderful.

0:03:03 > 0:03:08- It's been an impossible task - to judge everyone but I've enjoyed.

0:03:08 > 0:03:12- Second place in the folk group - went to Gwilym, Bethany and Gethin.

0:03:13 > 0:03:17- Gwilym Bowen Rhys came first in - the solo folk singing competition.

0:03:17 > 0:03:19- Bethany Celyn came a close second.

0:03:19 > 0:03:24- It was a massive competition - with 14 competitors in total.

0:03:24 > 0:03:29- Everyone sang - in their own languages.

0:03:29 > 0:03:32- I was the last one on stage - out of 14 others.

0:03:32 > 0:03:38- I feel truly honoured - that I won this lovely prize.

0:03:39 > 0:03:41- I came third last night...

0:03:41 > 0:03:46- ..and have been a piano accompanist - for Cadi who won Can i Gymru.

0:03:46 > 0:03:53- I judged the solo folk singing - and it was a fantastic competition.

0:03:53 > 0:03:57- Many of the Welsh excelled - and Anni Llyn also won an award.

0:03:58 > 0:04:06- She won it for best original song.

0:04:06 > 0:04:10- Anni was part of the folk dancing - group, Dawnswyr Talog that also won.

0:04:10 > 0:04:16- Her husband, Tudur Phillips - won for his solo step dance.

0:04:16 > 0:04:20- I wrote a song called Lon i Llyn - a few years ago.

0:04:21 > 0:04:24- The song is about feeling low - and returning home.

0:04:24 > 0:04:31- And home for me - is the Lleyn Peninsula.

0:04:32 > 0:04:37- Following five hours of singing, - Tonic won Best Traditional Choir.

0:04:46 > 0:04:51- We're incredibly lucky to come first - in the male voice choir competition.

0:04:52 > 0:04:59- We're also delighted that - our ladies choir came first.

0:05:03 > 0:05:12- Cytgan Clwyd are a talented bunch - and enjoy the best opportunities.

0:05:12 > 0:05:21- The Pan Celtic trophy for 2017 - goes to Cor Cytgan Clwyd.

0:05:21 > 0:05:25- Cytgan Clwyd won four categories - - youth, mixed, open choirs...

0:05:25 > 0:05:33- ..and of course - the Pan Celtic Choir title.

0:05:33 > 0:05:37- We didn't expect to come - and win for the second time.

0:05:37 > 0:05:41- The choir is fantastic.

0:05:41 > 0:05:45- They listen to my instructions - and attend every rehearsal.

0:05:45 > 0:05:52- I'm becoming emotional - but they were fantastic.

0:05:52 > 0:05:56- Morwen is an important member of the - team and a wonderful accompanist.

0:15:18 > 0:15:24- However, it's vital to start young - to become the best at any sports.

0:15:24 > 0:15:29- Ioan Lloyd from Llandysul - is certainly on the right track.

0:15:30 > 0:15:34- The 14-year-old debuted in the - Junior 1000 Rally championship...

0:15:34 > 0:15:38- ..a championship for drivers - between 14 and 17 in 1000cc cars.

0:15:39 > 0:15:42- He certainly made an impact - during his first three rallies.

0:15:43 > 0:15:47- This year, he's one of the - favourites to win the championship.

0:15:47 > 0:15:52- I did in my first rally in Pembrey - in September with Julian Reynolds.

0:15:53 > 0:16:02- I thoroughly enjoyed it - and caught the rallying bug.

0:16:02 > 0:16:08- This season, you've already - competed in one rally in Anglesey.

0:16:08 > 0:16:12- We finished fourth overall - and came first amongst the Micras.

0:16:17 > 0:16:23- His co-driver is now Ryland James - who was once his father's navigator.

0:16:23 > 0:16:29- Drivers and co-drivers - have relationship based on trust.

0:16:29 > 0:16:38- He's an old head on young shoulders - and rallying is in his blood.

0:16:38 > 0:16:44- He enjoys what he's doing - and that's important in any sport.

0:16:44 > 0:16:49- I got to know Ryland - when I started out in rallying.

0:16:49 > 0:16:53- We've since become firm friends - and he's a good family friend.

0:16:54 > 0:16:58- It was evident from early on - that Ioan enjoyed rallying.

0:16:59 > 0:17:04- I didn't need to push him - into the sport.

0:17:05 > 0:17:11- From a very young age, he's had - a keen interest in motorsport.

0:17:12 > 0:17:19- Ioan loves anything - with wheels and an engine.

0:17:20 > 0:17:25- I was impressed with Ioan during - the first round of the championship.

0:17:25 > 0:17:29- He's been karting for many years - and it's helped him progress.

0:17:29 > 0:17:32- Karting teaches youngsters - about the correct racing lines.

0:17:33 > 0:17:37- My father has been rallying - with Ryland for many years.

0:17:38 > 0:17:42- I always enjoyed watching - and helping out with the servicing.

0:17:44 > 0:17:48- Gareth must be pleased that a good - friend is keeping an eye on Ioan.

0:20:24 > 0:20:29- ..if we could paint a mural - to celebrate Welshness in Swansea.

0:20:29 > 0:20:32- It was decided to paint the mural - here at Ysgol Bryn Tawe school...

0:20:33 > 0:20:37- ..as it's a school that does some - incredible work in the community.

0:20:37 > 0:20:43- A group of very enthusiastic pupils - painted the entire mural in a week.

0:20:45 > 0:20:49- My initial thought was - that it was colourful and bright.

0:20:49 > 0:20:54- The final piece is very striking and - it gives a nice feel to the school.

0:20:54 > 0:20:58- It's great to see the Swans and - the Ospreys included in the mural.

0:20:58 > 0:21:03- There are also references - to local poets and Welsh sayings.

0:21:04 > 0:21:08- We've been helped by Beth from - the Welsh Language Initiative.

0:21:08 > 0:21:12- Gwenllian Beynon also helped - to design and pain the mural.

0:21:12 > 0:21:16- The pupils have worked very hard - and painted for six whole days.

0:21:16 > 0:21:21- They even came in for a day - during the Easter holidays.
