0:10:47 > 0:10:51- After filming many of the events, - I accepted the challenge...

0:10:51 > 0:10:54- ..to take part in the largest, - Battle on the Beach.

0:10:54 > 0:11:00- There's no turning back now, I've - registered, picked up my number...

0:11:00 > 0:11:05- ..but I have to admit - that I'm feeling nervous.

0:11:06 > 0:11:13- Today, I'm going to be cycling along - 6 kilometres of beach...

0:11:13 > 0:11:21- ..before entering the forest and - doing two lamps of the country park.

0:11:21 > 0:11:24- This is going to be difficult.

0:11:24 > 0:11:27- The tyres of my road bike wouldn't - be suitable for the sand...

0:11:28 > 0:11:32- ..and so I was given the chance - to borrow a popular bike.

0:11:33 > 0:11:37- I would ride on the thick tyres - of the Surly Fat Bike.

0:11:38 > 0:11:42- We're two minutes away - from starting the race.

0:11:42 > 0:11:49- I'm one of 800 competitors.

0:11:49 > 0:11:57- This is the largest off-road race in - the UK and I'm a part of it.

0:12:00 > 0:12:06- From above, the beginning of the - race on Cefn Sidan beach...

0:13:00 > 0:13:04- England Women's Rugby World Cup 2014 - winner, Sophie Halhead...

0:13:09 > 0:13:16- Iwan Evans of Builth Wells was the - winner of the Fun Male 14+ race.

0:13:16 > 0:13:22- It was very good and I came first - in one hour and five minutes.

0:13:26 > 0:13:30- I enjoyed it, but went slightly - too fast on the first lap.
