0:00:45 > 0:00:52- Both were related as J O - was Sioned James' father-in-law.

0:00:52 > 0:00:56- With his velvety vocals - and appreciation for words...

0:03:31 > 0:03:35- It was John and Mabel and John was - behind a massive bunch of flowers.

0:03:35 > 0:03:42- The card read, "Sorry, Mo!"

0:03:42 > 0:03:48- I remember the special adaptation - of O Law i Law.

0:03:48 > 0:03:51- It was the first production - of Cwmni Theatr Gwynedd...

0:03:52 > 0:03:54- ..that was in place to keep - the theatre running.

0:03:55 > 0:03:59- John and I laughed through it - and so did the audience.

0:03:59 > 0:04:04- Twelve years ago, we set up the - Tuesday Club who played golf.

0:04:09 > 0:04:14- He loved it and his presence - and storytelling was a part of it.

0:04:21 > 0:04:26- ..you were aware of his presence - but he wasn't selfish.

0:04:31 > 0:04:41- ..but he could play alongside you - despite his good looks and voice.

0:04:47 > 0:04:53- An evening with J O - after a Noson Lawen...

0:05:24 > 0:05:29- Yes, our paths often crossed - when we both moved to Anglesey.

0:05:29 > 0:05:34- Over the 40 years, we would meet...

0:05:34 > 0:05:41- ..and I thought the world of him - as The Voice.

0:05:42 > 0:05:46- He performed in various theatres - as well as on film.

0:05:46 > 0:05:49- I was thinking about him - this week...

0:05:50 > 0:05:54- ..because the winner of the - Sir Bryner Jones Memorial Award...

0:05:54 > 0:05:59- ..was Tom Tudor of Llysun - which is where they filmed Lleifior.

0:05:59 > 0:06:08- He spoke about the film so it's - tragic to have lost that kind voice.

0:06:08 > 0:06:14- We think of him as an actor but - he was also an excellent teacher.

0:06:15 > 0:06:19- Yes, and that's important - to remember.

0:06:19 > 0:06:24- A good teacher can present things - to people.

0:06:25 > 0:06:30- He worked in a school - and at Bangor Normal College...

0:06:31 > 0:06:38- ..and shared the emotion of creating - a character, the voice and feeling.

0:07:17 > 0:07:22- She was a talented musician - and founder of the Cordydd choir.

0:07:22 > 0:07:27- She was married to J O's son, - Gareth Roberts, the broadcaster.

0:07:27 > 0:07:33- At 16, the Llandysul-born conductor - worked with Ysgol Gerdd Ceredigion.

0:07:33 > 0:07:39- She founded Cordydd in 2000 and they - won many prestigious competitions.

0:07:39 > 0:07:45- She appeared in numerous S4C series - such as Codi Canu and Llais I Gymru.

0:07:45 > 0:07:51- Friends and fellow musicians - have been paying tribute to her.

0:08:01 > 0:08:08- It's hard to accept that someone - as talented as Sioned has left us.

0:08:08 > 0:08:15- I remember her as a mischievous girl - at the Eisteddfod in Llandeilo.

0:08:15 > 0:08:20- I got to know her when - she established Cordydd in Cardiff.

0:08:20 > 0:08:24- My son and daughter-in-law - were amongst the original members.

0:08:24 > 0:08:29- I got to know her better when - we established Cor y Mochyn Du.

0:08:30 > 0:08:34- I asked Sioned to conduct us and - didn't think she'd have the time...

0:08:34 > 0:08:41- ..but she was delighted - and we had a whale of a time.

0:08:42 > 0:08:47- I'll remember Sioned as a very close - friend and true musician.

0:08:47 > 0:08:52- I could turn to hear - for advice on anything.

0:08:52 > 0:08:58- She was always willing to listen - and always there to help.

0:08:58 > 0:09:03- When she helped with Waun Ddyfal, - she always had advice.

0:09:04 > 0:09:08- She had a unique way of engaging - with the choir...

0:09:09 > 0:09:14- ..and focusing on musical details.

0:09:14 > 0:09:18- I certainly wouldn't have succeeded - with my choirs...

0:09:18 > 0:09:25- ..if Sioned hadn't been there - to admire and be my musical hero.

0:09:26 > 0:09:36- The Sioned that I met was on fire - and passionate about choral music.

0:09:36 > 0:09:45- She was incredibly talented - and had a certain way with people.

0:09:47 > 0:09:53- I learnt so much from her - as a close friend.

0:09:54 > 0:09:59- I'll miss those phone calls - where we discussed and chose music.

0:09:59 > 0:10:05- She was honest in her treatment - of the choir.

0:10:05 > 0:10:16- I joined Cordydd and had some - great experiences under her baton.

0:10:16 > 0:10:22- A lot of conductors have learnt - from Sioned and her repertoire...

0:10:23 > 0:10:29- ..and realized that choirs should - present songs in a new format.

0:10:29 > 0:10:35- I think Sioned was ground-breaking - and a very ambitious in that.

0:10:35 > 0:10:40- As a result, her contribution will - be celebrated for years to come.

0:10:41 > 0:10:51- She's given other conductors - true guidance.

0:10:53 > 0:10:59- She was a real inspiration - and a very talented musician.

0:10:59 > 0:11:03- The choir and everyone else - will miss her.

0:11:57 > 0:12:03- ..with Sulwyn Thomas, Alwyn Sion, - Nia Lloyd Jones, me and Sioned.

0:12:04 > 0:12:08- She was a real character - with a massive personality...

0:12:09 > 0:12:14- ..who was full of fun and mischief.

0:12:14 > 0:12:18- I knew about her through music - and that she had a degree...

0:12:18 > 0:12:23- ..but didn't realize she would - achieve so much for choral music.

0:12:24 > 0:12:30- She was an incredible musician - and a true perfectionist too.

0:12:30 > 0:12:36- She was ground-breaking, pioneering - and wanted everything to be perfect.

0:13:12 > 0:13:16- The tenor, Trystan Llyr Griffiths - appeared on Llais i Gymru...

0:13:16 > 0:13:21- ..and Sioned was responsible - for the series.

0:13:21 > 0:13:25- We had deep discussions about music - and vocals...

0:13:26 > 0:13:35- ..and she was proud of the high - quality of talent we have in Wales.

0:13:36 > 0:13:41- It brought her to tears - to hear a truly talented performer.

0:13:41 > 0:13:48- I can't believe we've lost - someone who had so much to offer.

0:13:48 > 0:13:53- It's a real shock for us all.

0:13:53 > 0:13:57- It's a very sad day in Wales - as we've lost two great talents.

0:16:09 > 0:16:16- Everyone at school is happy with it - but shocked that it's gone viral.

0:16:16 > 0:16:20- Some friends and I are doing - a project in the Common Room.

0:16:20 > 0:16:26- We're spray painting the walls with - images that are important to Wales.

0:16:26 > 0:16:34- It's inspired by Wales and their - success in rugby and football.

0:16:35 > 0:16:40- We knew that Gwen is good - at doing portraits...

0:16:40 > 0:16:43- ..but when Gareth Bale - liked the sketch of him and Alba...
