0:09:57 > 0:10:00- ..I didn't know what to say.

0:10:00 > 0:10:03- We talked about it - and decided to move...

0:10:04 > 0:10:08- ..because it's an experience for him - with his job and for the kids.

0:15:52 > 0:15:55- I know I have such - a strong connection with Cardiff...

0:15:56 > 0:15:59- ..with my parents - and Lowri, who still lives there...

0:15:59 > 0:16:01- ..and if Luned and Dave come back.

0:16:03 > 0:16:04- But in 1989...

0:16:05 > 0:16:09- ..the girls' father was worried - about raising them in the capital.

0:16:09 > 0:16:15- Having been raised in the close-knit - community of Ystradgynlais...

0:16:29 > 0:16:33- It's a close-knit community, - everyone knows each other...

0:16:42 > 0:16:45- I had concerns at the beginning...

0:16:46 > 0:16:48- ..coming to a place...

0:16:48 > 0:16:53- ..that I saw as quite an - English place in terms of language.

0:16:58 > 0:17:04- ..in the same situation as us, - having come from all over Wales...

0:17:04 > 0:17:08- ..and that there was plenty of Welsh - in the city.

0:17:09 > 0:17:15- Welsh-medium schools - had been established...

0:17:15 > 0:17:20- ..and, as a result, - a Welsh society grew.
