0:00:02 > 0:00:04Welcome to the quiz show that demands perfection.

0:00:04 > 0:00:06Behind the screen, four contestants hoping their knowledge is flawless,

0:00:06 > 0:00:09as one single mistake could give the game away.

0:00:09 > 0:00:11This is Perfection.

0:00:22 > 0:00:26Welcome to the quiz show where only perfect play is good enough.

0:00:26 > 0:00:30Behind me are the contestants. We call them the Usual Suspects. They're in our isolation room.

0:00:30 > 0:00:32In a moment, we'll find out which of them

0:00:32 > 0:00:35has been selected to join me here to play Perfection.

0:00:35 > 0:00:38They'll face a series of true or false statements.

0:00:38 > 0:00:41For example, if I said "I'd Do Anything" is a song from Oliver!,

0:00:41 > 0:00:44would you say that was true or false?

0:00:44 > 0:00:47Well, if you said true, I can't tell you you'd be right.

0:00:47 > 0:00:50Answering true or false might seem easy

0:00:50 > 0:00:53but if the contestant gets an answer wrong,

0:00:53 > 0:00:56the Usual Suspects will be allowed into the game to capitalise on the mistake.

0:00:56 > 0:01:01So you know how the game works. Let's meet the Usual Suspects.

0:01:01 > 0:01:03Hi. I'm BB. I'm from Glasgow.

0:01:03 > 0:01:06I'm a lawyer and event planner and this is my first game.

0:01:06 > 0:01:08My name's Steve. I'm from London.

0:01:08 > 0:01:11I work in sales and this is also my first game.

0:01:11 > 0:01:13I'm Paul from Lichfield in Staffordshire.

0:01:13 > 0:01:15I'm an art teacher. This is my third game.

0:01:15 > 0:01:18I'm Jane from Rossendale in Lancashire.

0:01:18 > 0:01:20I'm a housewife and this is my 15th game.

0:01:20 > 0:01:24Hello, Usual Suspects, and welcome to the game.

0:01:24 > 0:01:28- Especially to our two newbies. How you doing?- Good, thanks.

0:01:28 > 0:01:30- Yourself?- Good. Looking forward to playing?- Yes.- Yes.

0:01:30 > 0:01:35- BB, you're actually currently with child, I understand.- I am.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38- How far off are we?- Six weeks away, so no accidents today.

0:01:38 > 0:01:43No panics, I hope. We'll try and keep everything calm for you. Steve, you might be called to help out

0:01:43 > 0:01:46- if anything happens. - I just need a couple of towels. - Is that what it is?

0:01:46 > 0:01:49Jane, I understand you're one away from the all-time record

0:01:49 > 0:01:53of being the longest-serving Usual Suspect in the history of the game.

0:01:53 > 0:01:56Yes. So they tell me. I'm just hoping I've been married

0:01:56 > 0:01:59long enough for my husband to know who I am when I get home.

0:01:59 > 0:02:02Well, it's been a while, certainly. Welcome to you all

0:02:02 > 0:02:07and best of luck as we find out which one of you has been randomly picked to play Perfection.

0:02:11 > 0:02:15Paul, it's you that's been selected. Please come and play Perfection.

0:02:16 > 0:02:20- Paul, welcome to the game. Nice to be down here?- Yes, it is.

0:02:20 > 0:02:23- Ready to play?- Absolutely. - Will you walk off with the cash?

0:02:23 > 0:02:26- There's quite a bit around this time.- Seems so.- Yeah.

0:02:26 > 0:02:31- Tell us about your family, learn a bit more about you. - I've got three sons, one 25, one 23,

0:02:31 > 0:02:35and one six year-old. And my 23-year-old's got two children.

0:02:35 > 0:02:37Grandchildren, boy and a girl.

0:02:37 > 0:02:42Right, Paul, it's now you versus the Usual Suspects. You were team-mates, now you're enemies.

0:02:42 > 0:02:44Their job is to stop you winning the prize fund.

0:02:44 > 0:02:47Your failure means the prize fund rolls over to the next game.

0:02:47 > 0:02:50One of them could be playing for more money.

0:02:50 > 0:02:53Every game on Perfection is worth £1,000. Here's the good news.

0:02:53 > 0:02:58Nobody has won the last nine games, so the prize fund stands at £10,000.

0:03:01 > 0:03:04So you walk out at the end of this game, £10,000 in your pocket,

0:03:04 > 0:03:06what do you spend it on?

0:03:06 > 0:03:09Initially, I'd really like to buy my dad a new car.

0:03:09 > 0:03:12- He's never had a new car in his life.- Anything else?

0:03:12 > 0:03:15Yeah, I'd like to treat all the family to a holiday,

0:03:15 > 0:03:16Disneyland, something like that.

0:03:16 > 0:03:20Do you dream, as an artist, of doing anything other than teaching?

0:03:20 > 0:03:23Obviously, there's your own artwork in the background?

0:03:23 > 0:03:26If I could move into my own business, instead of teaching,

0:03:26 > 0:03:29and look at an art cafe, something like that,

0:03:29 > 0:03:31- that would be nice dream to have. - Good luck.

0:03:31 > 0:03:34Here's how the game works. You'll play three rounds and the final.

0:03:34 > 0:03:37Every time you achieve perfection will make the final easier.

0:03:37 > 0:03:40But if your performance is less than perfect,

0:03:40 > 0:03:42the Usual Suspects will have the chance to step in

0:03:42 > 0:03:45and steal the round, making the final harder. Usual Suspects,

0:03:45 > 0:03:49I'm going to switch you off for now so you can't see or hear anything. And away they go.

0:03:49 > 0:03:53You can now talk through your answers without giving away vital knowledge.

0:03:53 > 0:03:56Each round consists of four true or false statements.

0:03:56 > 0:03:59You'll only get 45 seconds and once you've given your first answer,

0:03:59 > 0:04:03- they'll be locked in. Understand? - Right.- Ready?- Yes.

0:04:03 > 0:04:07- Then let's play Perfection. - APPLAUSE

0:04:07 > 0:04:10Your 45 seconds in round one starts now.

0:04:15 > 0:04:17I'm not really sure about that.

0:04:17 > 0:04:22- But I'm going to say false because it could possibly be the Incas.- False.

0:04:26 > 0:04:28It sounds possible.

0:04:28 > 0:04:32- But again, I'm not really sure so I'll go true for that one.- True.

0:04:37 > 0:04:41Never heard of him, to be honest, so it'll be another guess.

0:04:41 > 0:04:45- But I think I'll go false.- False, and you probably need to get a move on.

0:04:48 > 0:04:51- I'll say true for that one.- True.

0:04:51 > 0:04:55You've answered all four statements, with a little time to spare.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58- What do you think of that round? - Awful. Didn't know any of them.

0:04:58 > 0:05:01It was all guesswork, was it? Before we reveal how you've done,

0:05:01 > 0:05:04it's time for us to bring back the Usual Suspects.

0:05:04 > 0:05:08So, these are the four statements, and next to them are Paul's answers.

0:05:08 > 0:05:11Let's start with you, BB. Has he achieved perfection?

0:05:11 > 0:05:13I think A, B and C are correct.

0:05:13 > 0:05:17D I'm not sure of, but it seems to be right on the money

0:05:17 > 0:05:20- so I think he's done really well. - Steve? Perfection?

0:05:20 > 0:05:23I think it's likely. To be honest,

0:05:23 > 0:05:25the only one I really know he's got right is C

0:05:25 > 0:05:28- so I'd be guessing at the other three.- Jane, what do you think?

0:05:28 > 0:05:31I think possibly he has got perfection this time, yes.

0:05:31 > 0:05:34A ringing endorsement from the Usual Suspects, Paul. The moment of truth.

0:05:34 > 0:05:38You need to get all four right to win the round. Let's see how many are correct.

0:05:44 > 0:05:47Three out of four's good, but it's not perfection.

0:05:47 > 0:05:49You've now let your enemies into the game.

0:05:49 > 0:05:52Usual Suspects, can you steal the round? You can see the answers.

0:05:52 > 0:05:57- You need to change one of them.- Rex means cat. We think that's correct.

0:05:57 > 0:06:01- Conan O'Brien is actually a TV presenter.- A talk-show host.

0:06:01 > 0:06:06Aztecs are South American, but Abu Simbel seems Middle-Eastern, so I think that's correct.

0:06:06 > 0:06:08- It's between A and D.- A and D.

0:06:08 > 0:06:11- I'm going to say D. - I'm going to say D as well.

0:06:11 > 0:06:14- Can we change D, please, Nick? - D, changing from true to false,

0:06:14 > 0:06:17Leaving A, B and C as answered by Paul.

0:06:17 > 0:06:19Let's find out the correct answers.

0:06:26 > 0:06:28It is false. They're actually in Egypt.

0:06:32 > 0:06:34It is true. Absolutely right.

0:06:38 > 0:06:41It's false. He is an American talk show host

0:06:41 > 0:06:43and you know where this is going now.

0:06:47 > 0:06:51Yeah, it's false. Usual Suspects, you have achieved perfection.

0:06:54 > 0:06:57It's a fermentation system used for making beer.

0:06:57 > 0:07:01Paul, they managed to succeed where you failed and have stolen the round.

0:07:01 > 0:07:06Usual Suspects, you have the opportunity to make Paul's chances of winning the prize fund

0:07:06 > 0:07:08much harder in the final and here's how.

0:07:08 > 0:07:10In front of you, Paul, is your final board.

0:07:10 > 0:07:14The six blank spaces need to be filled with subject categories.

0:07:14 > 0:07:16Behind each one, a true or false statement.

0:07:16 > 0:07:18You need to answer all six to win the money.

0:07:18 > 0:07:20Here are the categories.

0:07:20 > 0:07:24They start with the Welsh and range through Government,

0:07:24 > 0:07:27Newspapers and Pixie Lott, with many others in between.

0:07:27 > 0:07:31If you'd won the round, you could add two categories of your choice.

0:07:31 > 0:07:34But the Usual Suspects stole the round, so they choose

0:07:34 > 0:07:37the categories, hoping to make the final harder for you.

0:07:37 > 0:07:40Usual Suspects, which two do you want to choose for him?

0:07:40 > 0:07:43- We are going for Pixie Lott, right? - I think we're saying Pixie Lott.

0:07:43 > 0:07:46Can we have Pixie Lott for the first category, please?

0:07:46 > 0:07:49- Pixie Lott goes across into the final. And one more.- Cocktails?

0:07:49 > 0:07:52I don't really see Paul being the Manhattan kind of guy.

0:07:52 > 0:07:55- He's not really Sex And The City, is he?- No, ha!

0:07:55 > 0:07:59- We're thinking herbs.- Herbs or cocktails.- We'll go with cocktails.

0:07:59 > 0:08:01- Can we have cocktails, please? - Cocktails goes across.

0:08:01 > 0:08:06Well done, Usual Suspects. You've won the first round. Time to switch you off.

0:08:06 > 0:08:08We'll see you in round two. And now they can't hear you,

0:08:08 > 0:08:11I thought that was a little bit rude about you then, wasn't it?

0:08:11 > 0:08:15- They think you've never been near a cocktail?- I've had a few.

0:08:15 > 0:08:18- Mixed a few as well. I used to be a barman.- Did you really?

0:08:18 > 0:08:20- Before university.- OK, Pixie Lott,

0:08:20 > 0:08:23- they reckon you haven't heard of her?- I know the one famous song.

0:08:23 > 0:08:26There you go. So that'll be interesting.

0:08:26 > 0:08:30Looking at the list over there, which ones do you really like?

0:08:30 > 0:08:34Oh, Football's a natural. I was at university in Wales, so the Welsh.

0:08:34 > 0:08:38- Mad Max, I've seen the films. - So they're all quite good.

0:08:38 > 0:08:40Which ones do you want to avoid?

0:08:40 > 0:08:43UK Coast, possibly. Government. Not too keen on those.

0:08:43 > 0:08:47It's only round one. You still have two more rounds to find perfection

0:08:47 > 0:08:50and choose your own categories for the final.

0:08:50 > 0:08:54- Are you ready for the next round? - Yes.- Let's play round two. - APPLAUSE

0:08:57 > 0:08:59Your 45 seconds starts now.

0:09:04 > 0:09:08- I believe he only won it twice, so I'm saying false.- False.

0:09:12 > 0:09:17- Not really sure about that. Um, I will say true for that.- True.

0:09:23 > 0:09:28- I've not heard that about him, so I'll say false.- False. And finally:

0:09:33 > 0:09:36It sounds good but I think it's false

0:09:36 > 0:09:39because I think it's in the House of Lords, or it's a pub.

0:09:39 > 0:09:42- So you're saying false? - False.- Thank you.

0:09:42 > 0:09:46And with time to spare you have answered all four statements.

0:09:46 > 0:09:51- Was that a better round? - A bit better, but still some grey areas there.

0:09:51 > 0:09:55Before we reveal how well you've done, it's time to bring back the Usual Suspects.

0:09:55 > 0:09:59These are the four statements. Next to them are Paul's answers.

0:09:59 > 0:10:02- Steve, has he achieved perfection? - I actually don't think he has.

0:10:02 > 0:10:06I think I remember something about Robert Hardy being

0:10:06 > 0:10:09involved in longbows, so I think he's got that one wrong.

0:10:09 > 0:10:14- BB, what do you think? - I'm going to throw my hands up here - I have no idea.

0:10:14 > 0:10:16This is the hardest round I've seen.

0:10:16 > 0:10:18Very honest of you, BB.

0:10:18 > 0:10:20Jane, what do you think?

0:10:20 > 0:10:22The one I'm not sure about is the Woolsack.

0:10:22 > 0:10:26I can never remember if it's in the House of Commons or House of Lords.

0:10:26 > 0:10:28That's the one I'd be dubious about.

0:10:28 > 0:10:32Well, Paul, the moment of truth - you need to have answered all four statements perfectly

0:10:32 > 0:10:35to have won the round, let's see how many are correct.

0:10:39 > 0:10:41You've failed to achieve perfection,

0:10:41 > 0:10:45you've now let your enemies, the Usual Suspects, into the game.

0:10:45 > 0:10:47Usual Suspects, can you steal this round?

0:10:47 > 0:10:49You can see Paul's answers, you need to change one.

0:10:49 > 0:10:52- Which one's it going to be? - It's going to be Steve, I think.

0:10:52 > 0:10:55Is there any that you know are definitely right?

0:10:55 > 0:10:58I don't think Nigel Mansell won the World Title three times.

0:10:58 > 0:11:00I think at best it was probably two.

0:11:00 > 0:11:03- That will be correct with the false.- So, the Woolsack?

0:11:03 > 0:11:08- I can never remember which one it's in. - I think it's between C and D.

0:11:09 > 0:11:14- What shall we change, then? - I'd plump for C.

0:11:14 > 0:11:18- What would you rather go with? - I'm not in this.

0:11:18 > 0:11:21The next one, call me on the next one.

0:11:21 > 0:11:24I'll agree with you on C, and if I'm wrong that's my problem.

0:11:24 > 0:11:27If I'm wrong I will get my coat.

0:11:27 > 0:11:29Can we change C, please, Nick?

0:11:29 > 0:11:31You can change C from false to true

0:11:31 > 0:11:34leaving A, B and D as answered by Paul.

0:11:34 > 0:11:36Usual Suspects, let's find out what the correct answers are.

0:11:36 > 0:11:41Nigel Mansell won the F1 World Title three times, true or false?

0:11:43 > 0:11:47It is false - in actual fact he only won it the once.

0:11:47 > 0:11:50Selsey Bill is on the English Channel coast, true or false?

0:11:50 > 0:11:52Yeah, that's true.

0:11:52 > 0:11:54We come to the one that you changed,

0:11:54 > 0:11:57the actor Robert Hardy is an expert on longbows, true or false?

0:11:59 > 0:12:03It is true, well done, Steve, you pulled that out the back of your mind there.

0:12:03 > 0:12:07And the Woolsack is a seat in the House of Commons, true or false?

0:12:07 > 0:12:09It's false, it is in the House of Lords.

0:12:09 > 0:12:13Congratulations, Usual Suspects, you have achieved perfection.

0:12:13 > 0:12:18Paul, the Usual Suspects have succeeded where you failed and have stolen the round.

0:12:18 > 0:12:22Usual Suspects, you now have the opportunity to make Paul's chances

0:12:22 > 0:12:25of winning the prize fund of £10,000 that bit harder.

0:12:25 > 0:12:27Let's see the final board.

0:12:27 > 0:12:30Two subjects chosen so far by the Usual Suspects,

0:12:30 > 0:12:34and because you won the round, you've earned the right to choose the next two.

0:12:34 > 0:12:36I think maybe Mad Max.

0:12:36 > 0:12:39- I think Paul could have watched the Mad Max films.- Herbs?

0:12:39 > 0:12:41Herbs, please, for the first one.

0:12:41 > 0:12:45- Herbs goes across, and one more, please. - Why don't we go for radio?

0:12:45 > 0:12:46He looks like a radio kind of guy.

0:12:46 > 0:12:50- But radio's quite broad. - Can we have radio as well, please, Nick?

0:12:50 > 0:12:54BB's not so sure, but you're going for it, radio's going across.

0:12:54 > 0:12:57Congratulations, you've won the second round,

0:12:57 > 0:13:00it's time to switch you off but we'll see you in round three.

0:13:00 > 0:13:03Away they go. They almost went for Mad Max there for you.

0:13:03 > 0:13:05That would have been interesting.

0:13:05 > 0:13:08- As it is, they've gone for herbs - all right?- Yeah, I cook.

0:13:08 > 0:13:12I guess that might help. And radio?

0:13:12 > 0:13:15- I listen to a lot of radio. - BB thought that, but the others didn't listen.

0:13:15 > 0:13:19- That's actually not been too bad for you, has it?- That's OK.

0:13:19 > 0:13:21- You ready?- Yeah. - Let's play round three.

0:13:21 > 0:13:23APPLAUSE

0:13:23 > 0:13:26Your 45 seconds start now.

0:13:29 > 0:13:32I believe that's true, I think he did his own book. True.

0:13:32 > 0:13:34True.

0:13:38 > 0:13:41No, I think that's false, Isaac Newton did a lot, but not that.

0:13:41 > 0:13:42False.

0:13:46 > 0:13:51I think that's a bit soon for them, I think that's false, as well.

0:13:51 > 0:13:53False. And finally...

0:13:58 > 0:14:01- No, that's false, I don't think so.- False.

0:14:01 > 0:14:05Thank you, and with plenty of time to spare you've answered all four statements.

0:14:05 > 0:14:07Before we reveal how well you've done,

0:14:07 > 0:14:09it's time for us to bring back the Usual Suspects.

0:14:09 > 0:14:14So, Usual Suspects, these were the four statements and next to them are Paul's answers.

0:14:14 > 0:14:18- BB, are you joining in this time? - Yes, I am!- Do you think he's achieved perfection?

0:14:18 > 0:14:20Well, I think he's pretty close.

0:14:20 > 0:14:25D, Mark Cavendish. I don't know if he won 2010

0:14:25 > 0:14:27- so I'm not sure about that.- Mm.

0:14:27 > 0:14:32That's my only quarrel with the list but I think he's done pretty well.

0:14:32 > 0:14:36- Steve, perfection?- Possibly. If he's got any wrong, it'll be one.

0:14:36 > 0:14:40I know Mark Cavendish has won a lot of stages in the Tour de France but never won it.

0:14:40 > 0:14:42I don't think an Englishman's ever won it.

0:14:42 > 0:14:45Not sure about the Periodic Table so I'll say that's false.

0:14:45 > 0:14:47I remember Prince Charles presenting Jackanory.

0:14:47 > 0:14:50If I remember, he wore a kilt and sat on the moors.

0:14:50 > 0:14:52If he has got one wrong, I'd say it's C.

0:14:52 > 0:14:55- That's very specific for a vague recollection! - THEY LAUGH

0:14:55 > 0:14:58- Jane, has he achieved perfection? - Um... I think possibly the Vikings

0:15:14 > 0:15:15APPLAUSE

0:15:15 > 0:15:19Congratulations, Paul, you've achieved perfection.

0:15:19 > 0:15:22Tough set of questions there. You've done very well.

0:15:22 > 0:15:25Prince Charles has presented Jackanory on TV

0:15:25 > 0:15:28and that of course we now know to be true.

0:15:28 > 0:15:32Whether he was wearing a kilt at the time, we cannot confirm!

0:15:34 > 0:15:37We know it to be...false.

0:15:39 > 0:15:42You said that was false. You thought it was a bit early.

0:15:42 > 0:15:43It is, of course, false.

0:15:43 > 0:15:46And Mark Cavendish won the Tour de France in 2010, true or false?

0:15:46 > 0:15:50It is, of course...false. Let's have a look at the final board.

0:15:50 > 0:15:53First four subjects chosen by the Usual Suspects.

0:15:53 > 0:15:57You now get to choose two subjects because you won that last round.

0:15:57 > 0:15:58So what are you going to go for?

0:15:58 > 0:16:02- I think I'm going to go for The Welsh.- The Welsh, and...?

0:16:02 > 0:16:07- And I have to go for Football. - And Football goes across.

0:16:07 > 0:16:11- Not what you were expecting, Usual Suspects, was it? - No!- Not really.

0:16:11 > 0:16:14So we now know our six final categories. They are:

0:16:19 > 0:16:23It's time to switch off the Usual Suspects, away they go.

0:16:23 > 0:16:25Paul, what do you reckon as a board? Good one?

0:16:25 > 0:16:30There's a few to trip me up there. It gets better as it goes down.

0:16:30 > 0:16:34Yeah. OK, Paul, for £10,000, it's time to play the final.

0:16:34 > 0:16:36APPLAUSE

0:16:36 > 0:16:41Paul, this is the all-important final. If you can achieve perfection you could be leaving

0:16:41 > 0:16:45with a prize fund of £10,000. If you fail, you leave with nothing,

0:16:45 > 0:16:48which is great news for the Usual Suspects as one of them

0:16:48 > 0:16:52could be playing for a rollover of £11,000 on the next game.

0:16:52 > 0:16:55Let's play the final round.

0:16:57 > 0:16:59Paul, here are your final six categories.

0:16:59 > 0:17:01You must answer all six statements correctly.

0:17:01 > 0:17:06Think carefully. There's no time limit but once you've given your first answer, it's locked in.

0:17:06 > 0:17:09- You ready?- Yes.- OK, let's reveal your first statement. Pixie Lott.

0:17:15 > 0:17:20Ooh, I don't know that much about her. It's a real possibility.

0:17:20 > 0:17:25I know she was named Pixie as a young child because she was so small.

0:17:25 > 0:17:29- I think it's true. I think I'll go for true.- True.

0:17:33 > 0:17:36..in a Manhattan cocktail...

0:17:38 > 0:17:43I think that's true, yeah. I think I've seen the ingredients,

0:17:43 > 0:17:45I've possibly mixed it a couple of times way back.

0:17:45 > 0:17:49- But I think that's true, yeah.- True.

0:17:55 > 0:18:01I wouldn't know. Absolutely no idea so I'm really unsure about that.

0:18:01 > 0:18:05- It sounds an odd name to call it so I'm going to go for false.- False.

0:18:11 > 0:18:13That's true. Back in the Fifties

0:18:13 > 0:18:16before my time but he had a puppet called Archie.

0:18:16 > 0:18:20- Yes, so I think that's true.- True.

0:18:20 > 0:18:24Now we're into the subjects you chose for yourself. The Welsh.

0:18:27 > 0:18:33Um... I don't think she would've chosen that as a title.

0:18:33 > 0:18:36Um... I think that's false.

0:18:36 > 0:18:39I think that probably refers to somebody else. False.

0:18:39 > 0:18:41False. And finally, football.

0:18:46 > 0:18:47I haven't seen that anywhere.

0:18:47 > 0:18:52She's got an interest in West Ham as far as I know.

0:18:52 > 0:18:56- I think that's false as well.- False.

0:18:56 > 0:18:59If there's one mistake, you leave with nothing.

0:18:59 > 0:19:02- Which ones are you worried about? - Basil, Pixie Lott.

0:19:02 > 0:19:06A and C. Let's switch on the Usual Suspects.

0:19:06 > 0:19:10Usual Suspects, you can now see the final six statements and next to them are Paul's answers.

0:19:10 > 0:19:14Paul, you can't change your answers by yourself but if you think

0:19:14 > 0:19:16you've made a mistake you can

0:19:16 > 0:19:20unlock the board with the help of the Usual Suspects. This will, however, come at a cost.

0:19:20 > 0:19:25Usual Suspects, I'll now ask you to tell me how well you think Paul has done, if you want to help

0:19:25 > 0:19:27and if you do, how much it will cost.

0:19:27 > 0:19:31- Paul, who would you like to hear from first?- BB first, please.

0:19:31 > 0:19:33Paul, I think there's one question in particular

0:19:33 > 0:19:36and I think I could help you with that one.

0:19:36 > 0:19:39- How sure are you, BB?- Quite sure, quite sure.- If I offered you 2,000?

0:19:39 > 0:19:41Double it and add a one to it.

0:19:41 > 0:19:44So she's saying she wants 5,000 of the £10,000.

0:19:44 > 0:19:47- Do you want to hear from anyone else first?- Yes, Jane, please.

0:19:47 > 0:19:52There's possibly one that I would alter.

0:19:52 > 0:19:56- How much do you want to come down? - I would say 5,000.- And Steve?

0:19:56 > 0:20:00You've definitely got one wrong, and like the others I'd come down for £5,000.

0:20:00 > 0:20:05They all think you've got one wrong and they're all offering to come down for £5,000.

0:20:05 > 0:20:09Do you need their help, can you go it alone, can you negotiate a different price?

0:20:09 > 0:20:12- Steve, would you come down for £4,000? - Four-and-a-half.

0:20:12 > 0:20:17- OK. I'd agree with that, yeah. - Agreed, negotiations have been agreed.

0:20:17 > 0:20:22Steve, for £4,500 of the £10,000 prize fund,

0:20:22 > 0:20:24please come down and join us.

0:20:24 > 0:20:26APPLAUSE

0:20:26 > 0:20:31OK, Paul, you've asked Steve for help. If you achieve perfection it'll cost you £4,500.

0:20:31 > 0:20:34Steve, you've now forfeited your chance to play in the next game.

0:20:34 > 0:20:37This is your only shot at winning perfection.

0:20:37 > 0:20:39Have you made the right decision? We'll find out.

0:20:39 > 0:20:44Here are the final round statements. All six answers are now unlocked.

0:20:44 > 0:20:47Steve, which answers do you want Paul to change?

0:20:47 > 0:20:49I'm happy with B to F

0:20:49 > 0:20:52and the one I think we probably need to discuss is A.

0:20:52 > 0:20:53You know Pixie Lott?

0:20:53 > 0:20:56- I bluffed a bit, mate. - AUDIENCE GROANS So you're not sure?

0:20:56 > 0:21:01- Just so we know what you're talking about, you bluffed in what respect? - Well, I'm not 100% on A

0:21:01 > 0:21:04and I was happy to go with him on the other five.

0:21:04 > 0:21:06So you reckon this was your best chance to get some cash?

0:21:06 > 0:21:11- Oh, yes.- Paul, are you happy with your choice now?- Um...no!

0:21:11 > 0:21:13Do you think I'm right on all the others?

0:21:16 > 0:21:19- Yeah, yeah, I think you're right. - Yeah. I'm happy with B to F.

0:21:19 > 0:21:22The one I think we probably need to discuss

0:21:22 > 0:21:25- is A.- It's just, in the back of my mind, Victoria rings a bell.

0:21:25 > 0:21:26You think it does?

0:21:26 > 0:21:30- Would you change it if it was your game?- No, I'd be taking a punt.

0:21:30 > 0:21:34- So I think we'll stick with it.- OK. - Not changing anything at all?- No.

0:21:48 > 0:21:50Paul, you thought that was probably true.

0:22:04 > 0:22:07The Usual Suspects thought this might give you a problem,

0:22:07 > 0:22:11but you've actually been a barman and you've mixed a couple of these.

0:22:11 > 0:22:12Mm-hm.

0:22:12 > 0:22:14Yeah. So you said true.

0:22:14 > 0:22:18You need this to go green to get you a third of the way to the £10,000.

0:22:27 > 0:22:29It's false.

0:22:30 > 0:22:32It's rye whiskey and vermouth.

0:22:32 > 0:22:34So I'm afraid you failed to achieve perfection

0:22:37 > 0:22:40Can you still achieve perfection at home? Let's run through

0:29:45 > 0:29:49- Because I will be blaming you... - BB, what's it going to be?

0:29:49 > 0:29:53- It's going to be C.- C is going to change from true to false,

0:29:53 > 0:29:57leaving A, B and D as answered by Jane.

0:29:57 > 0:29:59Let's find out the correct answers.

0:30:03 > 0:30:06It is false, it was actually World War II.

0:30:09 > 0:30:14It's false, it's actually mashed potato with spring onions.

0:30:18 > 0:30:20False, it's Brisbane.

0:30:20 > 0:30:24Stu and Milan, well done, and you now know where this is going.

0:30:26 > 0:30:28Yup, absolutely true,

0:30:28 > 0:30:31congratulations, Usual Suspects, you have achieved perfection.

0:30:33 > 0:30:35Usual Suspects, you now have the opportunity

0:30:35 > 0:30:40to make Jane's chances of winning the prize fund of £11,000 much harder. Let's see the final board.

0:30:40 > 0:30:45Because you won the round, you've earned the right to choose the next two categories, Usual Suspects.

0:30:45 > 0:30:48- What are they going to be?- What are you guys thinking?- I'm thinking boxing.- Yeah.

0:30:48 > 0:30:55- OK, we'll go for boxing.- Boxing goes across.- I think shipping. - I think so.- Shipping?

0:30:55 > 0:30:59- All right, we're going to go for shipping.- OK, thank you, shipping goes across.

0:30:59 > 0:31:01Into the final congratulations, Usual Suspects, you've won the second round.

0:31:05 > 0:31:08And away they go. Interesting.

0:31:08 > 0:31:12Boxing, the one that you said you didn't want. Shipping?

0:31:12 > 0:31:15It depends. If it's ship-building for something famous,

0:31:15 > 0:31:19- possibly I stand a chance of getting it.- You might be in with a chance. You ready?- Yeah.

0:31:19 > 0:31:22Then let's play round three.

0:31:22 > 0:31:25Your 45 seconds starts now.

0:31:57 > 0:32:00- Uh... No. No, false.- False.

0:32:01 > 0:32:05And with a little time to spare, you've answered all four statements.

0:32:05 > 0:32:07Before we reveal how you've done,

0:32:07 > 0:32:09it's time to bring back the Usual Suspects.

0:32:09 > 0:32:13So, these are the four statements and next to them are Jane's answers.

0:32:13 > 0:32:15- Milan?- I don't think she's achieved perfection

0:32:15 > 0:32:17because I know for a fact that the CN Tower

0:32:17 > 0:32:19- is based in Toronto, not Seattle.- BB?

0:32:19 > 0:32:22Britney's not 30, she's a baby. So that's not right.

0:32:22 > 0:32:25Jane, you need to have answered all four statements perfectly

0:32:25 > 0:32:29to have won the round, let's find out how many are correct.

0:32:32 > 0:32:35Two out of four, I'm afraid, so certainly not perfection.

0:32:35 > 0:32:39You've let your enemies into the game. Usual Suspects, can you steal the round?

0:32:39 > 0:32:42You need to change two answers, but which two?

0:32:42 > 0:32:44I'm sure about A, totally.

0:32:44 > 0:32:46Yes, A, we're going to say A is false.

0:32:46 > 0:32:48A changes to false and we need one more.

0:32:48 > 0:32:53- And Britney Spears was... - Well, hold on. Britney Spears has been around a long time.

0:32:53 > 0:32:561981 will make her 30 years old, I think she's 28 or something.

0:32:56 > 0:33:00- If you're sure, BB, I'm... I'm... - OK, so which one are we changing?

0:33:00 > 0:33:03We're going to change B, and it's my fault.

0:33:03 > 0:33:06B changes from true to false, leaving C and D as answered by Jane.

0:33:06 > 0:33:09So, let's find out what the correct answers are.

0:33:09 > 0:33:13Seattle is the home of the CN Tower. Is that true or false?

0:33:14 > 0:33:18It is false and you're absolutely right, up there, it is Toronto.

0:33:18 > 0:33:22Britney Spears was born in 1981, is it true or false?

0:33:24 > 0:33:26It's true. Oh, dear, Usual Suspects,

0:33:26 > 0:33:29you had the chance to steal the round from Jane

0:33:29 > 0:33:31but you failed to achieve perfection.

0:33:31 > 0:33:34- Sorry!- I wonder whether you managed to achieve perfection at home.

0:33:34 > 0:33:38William Hogarth painted A Rake's Progress, true or false?

0:33:38 > 0:33:40It is actually true. And finally,

0:33:40 > 0:33:44the masked booby is a South American monkey, true or false?

0:33:44 > 0:33:46It is, actually, false.

0:33:46 > 0:33:49So, let's have a look at the board.

0:33:49 > 0:33:52Four subjects on there so far, two spaces still to be filled.

0:33:52 > 0:33:55To fill those spaces you'll take it in turns to choose a category.

0:33:55 > 0:33:59So, Jane, which category would you like to add?

0:33:59 > 0:34:00I think I'll try Carry On.

0:34:00 > 0:34:03Carry On goes across and becomes the fifth of six categories,

0:34:03 > 0:34:05so, Usual Suspects?

0:34:05 > 0:34:06Go for Clooney?

0:34:06 > 0:34:08I think she'd know Clooney.

0:34:08 > 0:34:10I think railways.

0:34:10 > 0:34:12I have a nasty feeling railways as well.

0:34:12 > 0:34:15OK. All right, we're going to go for railways.

0:34:15 > 0:34:19So, we now know our six final categories. They are...

0:34:28 > 0:34:31And away they go. So, railways they chose for you in the end.

0:34:31 > 0:34:33It could be anything, couldn't it, really?

0:34:33 > 0:34:36From way back when they first started, up to present day.

0:34:36 > 0:34:40OK, Jane, for £11,000,

0:34:40 > 0:34:41it's time to play the final.

0:34:43 > 0:34:46Jane, this is the final. If you can achieve perfection,

0:34:46 > 0:34:50you could be leaving with a prize fund of £11,000. If you fail, you'll leave with nothing

0:34:50 > 0:34:53which would be great for the Usual Suspects

0:34:53 > 0:34:57as one of them could be playing for a roll-over of £12,000 on the next game.

0:34:57 > 0:35:00If you're ready, let's play the final round.

0:35:00 > 0:35:03Jane, here are your final six categories.

0:35:19 > 0:35:20Ooh. Um...

0:35:20 > 0:35:23Do you know, I always get them mixed up.

0:35:23 > 0:35:25Um...

0:35:25 > 0:35:28I really can't remember who won series seven.

0:35:28 > 0:35:30I'll say true, I think.

0:35:30 > 0:35:32- True.- Yeah.

0:37:31 > 0:37:35with the help of the Usual Suspects. This will, however, come at a cost.

0:37:35 > 0:37:38Jane, who would like to hear from first?

0:37:38 > 0:37:40Um, Stu, I think, please.

0:37:40 > 0:37:43- Stu?- She's got one wrong and there's one "maybe", there.
