0:17:48 > 0:17:55- He then trained to be a cameraman, - a job he absolutely loved.

0:18:27 > 0:18:33- We bought a house in Ammanford - where I still live now.

0:18:33 > 0:18:39- He was diagnosed almost immediately - after we moved to Ammanford.

0:18:40 > 0:18:48- We were fortunate to live in the - town with access to its services.

0:18:48 > 0:18:53- It was a period of 18 months - of treatments...

0:18:53 > 0:18:56- ..and journeys back - and forth to the hospital.

0:18:56 > 0:19:02- His friends gave him - a lot of support at that time.

0:19:02 > 0:19:10- Whilst he was having chemotherapy - in Glangwili Hospital...

0:19:11 > 0:19:19- ..the specialist mentioned - a new drug that had come out.

0:19:19 > 0:19:24- However, it was only available - with a Manchester postcode.

0:19:25 > 0:19:29- Not available in Wales.

0:19:29 > 0:19:34- It's supposed to be - the National Health Service.

0:19:34 > 0:19:39- If we wanted the drug, we had to buy - it and it costs thousands of pounds.

0:19:40 > 0:19:46- Andrew's school friends - and those working in the media...

0:19:46 > 0:19:52- ..said that they would help him - with the cost of the drug.

0:19:52 > 0:19:57- That's how the Andrew Pwmps Appeal - came about.

0:19:57 > 0:20:02- I remember the first meeting in our - garden on a lovely May afternoon.

0:20:02 > 0:20:07- Unfortunately, that drug didn't work - with his type of cancer...

0:20:07 > 0:20:12- ..so we went down - the holistic route.

0:20:13 > 0:20:19- Holistic treatment keeps body and - mind healthy during chemotherapy.

0:20:19 > 0:20:25- We went out to Malaga - for two weeks...

0:20:25 > 0:20:32- ..and he believed strongly in that - treatment because he felt better.

0:20:33 > 0:20:37- Sadly, Andrew lost his fight - against cancer.

0:20:37 > 0:20:44- The money in the trust fund - is still there.

0:20:44 > 0:20:52- We have shared a significant sum - of the money that was left over.

0:20:52 > 0:20:56- Andrew's wishes were to share it - between cancer charities.

0:20:56 > 0:21:02- They include Macmillan, - Ty Bryngwyn Hospice...

0:21:02 > 0:21:12- ..and The Old Mill Foundation, where - you can seek help in this vicinity.
