0:01:55 > 0:02:00- I'd always thought that I'd suffered - from depression.

0:02:01 > 0:02:06- The doctor diagnosed me - with depression when I was 18.

0:02:13 > 0:02:18- Something wasn't right in the years - that followed.

0:02:18 > 0:02:22- It was in about 2011 that I realized - that I didn't have depression...

0:02:23 > 0:02:27- ..and was diagnosed - with bipolar disorder.

0:02:28 > 0:02:32- I usually experience times of - depression during the winter months.

0:02:32 > 0:02:37- Many have said that I appear to be - on a high during the summer.

0:02:37 > 0:02:42- How do you feel when you go through - these highs and lows?

0:02:43 > 0:02:47- It's horrible!

0:02:47 > 0:02:52- The highs can be very dangerous.

0:02:53 > 0:02:59- It can force you to spend money - that you don't have.

0:03:08 > 0:03:13- It's what people normally do!

0:03:13 > 0:03:17- Can you explain the condition?

0:03:18 > 0:03:22- I can't say a lot more than what - Gwen has said.

0:03:22 > 0:03:28- You could have four episodes - in a year.

0:03:42 > 0:03:47- I did have a lot of credit cards.

0:04:22 > 0:04:27- I don't know how I'm still here.

0:04:40 > 0:04:45- You don't have any energy when - you're low...

0:04:49 > 0:04:53- ..but have a lot of energy - when you're on a high.

0:04:59 > 0:05:05- I tend to notice when I'm heading - for one of the lows.

0:05:39 > 0:05:44- I know myself and - I know the illness.

0:06:16 > 0:06:22- I run Youth or Adult Mental Health - First Aid courses.

0:06:29 > 0:06:34- It's important to have more staff - in schools...

0:06:34 > 0:06:40- ..that are trained - to deal with mental health issues.

0:06:51 > 0:06:55- There's also courses - for young people...

0:07:09 > 0:07:15- I think it's more important to raise - awareness of the issue.

0:07:18 > 0:07:23- As a youngster, - I knew nothing about mental health.

0:07:31 > 0:07:35- People need to talk - about this issue.

0:07:43 > 0:07:48- Everyone always says that - they feel fine...

0:17:52 > 0:17:57- The shop is great and is a - wonderful place to buy Welsh items.

0:17:57 > 0:18:02- I love buying Welsh books - for my nine-month-old daughter.

0:18:04 > 0:18:10- I live locally and remember when - the shop opened and filled a void.

0:18:12 > 0:18:18- Welsh bookshops are centres - that enable you to meet new people.

0:18:20 > 0:18:26- In the city, you don't know - many people who speak Welsh.
