:00:10. > :00:13.Last weekend on Strictly the performances were bigger and

:00:13. > :00:18.brighter than ever as our seven remaining celebrities fought for a

:00:18. > :00:21.place in the quarter-finals. Louis finally came out of his shell and

:00:21. > :00:28.delivered the performance everyone's been waiting for.

:00:28. > :00:32.making of a true contender. Denise struggled when James forgot the way.

:00:32. > :00:40.We really do have to blame you now, darling. In the end, two friends

:00:40. > :00:49.battled it out to stay. And after a good innings, Michael salsaed out

:00:49. > :00:59.of the competition. For good. This week, Strictly's toughest challenge

:00:59. > :00:59.

:00:59. > :01:05.ever! It's dance fusion. Two dance styles. This should be perfect.

:01:05. > :01:13.routine. A bit of tango coming up. Get the formula right, for a place

:01:13. > :01:16.in the semifinal. Be careful. it wrong... Not that much! Cow be

:01:16. > :01:26.out of the competition -- you could be out of the competition. That's

:01:26. > :01:59.

:01:59. > :02:05.too much sparkle! There's never too APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:02:05. > :02:15.. Live from Television Centre, please welcome your hosts, Bruce

:02:15. > :02:24.

:02:24. > :02:30.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING You nearly got away! There we are.

:02:30. > :02:32.Thank you so much. A lovely crowd. Aren't they good? Good evening,

:02:32. > :02:38.ladies and gentlemen and children and welcome to Strictly Come

:02:38. > :02:41.Dancing. It's nice to see you, to see you... AUDIENCE: Nice! It's

:02:41. > :02:45.nice see you. Good. Tonight it's a Strictly first. Our stars are

:02:45. > :02:49.taking two styles and fusing them together into one routine. That's

:02:49. > :02:53.right. I heard about all of this. The couples have to either merge

:02:53. > :02:57.two styles together or split the dance half and half. It sounds

:02:57. > :03:02.great. But you have to be careful what you are doing. This afternoon,

:03:02. > :03:08.I saw our professionals trying out different combinations. What

:03:08. > :03:18.happened? They were combining the flashdance with a quickstep and all

:03:18. > :03:21.

:03:21. > :03:26.I got was a quick flash. APPLAUSE Followed by a hot flush. I

:03:26. > :03:32.thought I had passed all of that years ago. I really did. It's a

:03:32. > :03:37.worry, isn't it, dear? Last week, we lost another star. And Maureen!

:03:37. > :03:41.Sorry. Michael Vaughan - leave the audience alone. Michael was bowled

:03:41. > :03:45.out of the competition in a dance- off against his best pal, Nicky

:03:45. > :03:49.Byrne. That was sad. The competition is tougher than ever as

:03:49. > :03:55.our six of the best fight for a place in next week's semifinals.

:03:56. > :04:04.That's right. Can you believe it? It's going to be an explosive night

:04:04. > :04:10.tonight. Saoeupl excited. It means it's time to meet our own

:04:11. > :04:20.choreography! LAUGHTER. It went well. It won't go again. It's time

:04:21. > :04:21.

:04:21. > :04:25.meet the stars of our show. From girlband Girls Aloud, pop

:04:25. > :04:27.princess Kimberely Walsh and her partner Pasha Kovalev. From

:04:28. > :04:32.Westlife, Nicky Byrne and his partner Karen Hauer. Soap star Lisa

:04:32. > :04:34.Riley and her partner Robin Windsor. Olympic gymnast Louis Smith and his

:04:34. > :04:37.partner Flavia Cacace. Star of CBBC's Tracy Beaker, Dani Harmer

:04:37. > :04:47.and her partner Vincent Simone. And finally, presenter and performer

:04:47. > :04:57.

:04:57. > :05:04.Denise Van Outen and her partner APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:05:04. > :05:08.Wonderful. There they all are. Yes, there they are. This is the first

:05:08. > :05:13.for Strictly. They'll start doing one dance and and end up doing

:05:13. > :05:18.something completely different. That's not really a first. Ann

:05:18. > :05:23.Widdecombe did that all the time and Nancy Dell'Olio. The list goes

:05:23. > :05:30.on and on. Believe me. If you want live commentary you can press your

:05:30. > :05:36.red button and Karen Hardy is away this week and an - Anton is

:05:36. > :05:40.standing in. He is there somewhere. We will see him in a minute. Good

:05:40. > :05:50.news is, we don't have to see him! We saw him for a second there. He

:05:50. > :05:50.

:05:50. > :05:57.is actually joined by Nancy tonight. Oh, no! LAUGHTER Tell me this!

:05:57. > :06:01.Nancy, hello, dear! Sorry what I said before, dear. You were better

:06:01. > :06:05.than Fiona Phillips. That's not saying much. Who knows what's going

:06:05. > :06:09.to happen. Press your red button now and you are all set if you want

:06:09. > :06:19.to join in. The first couple tonight is Denise van Outen and her

:06:19. > :06:22.

:06:22. > :06:26.partner, James Jordan. APPLAUSE Now then, for their dance fusion

:06:26. > :06:31.they're doing a jive and a quickstep. Wait a minute, we did

:06:31. > :06:37.all this years ago for goodness sake! Don't you remember, Len, it

:06:37. > :06:47.went on for years. I once combined a Riverdance with a tap dance and

:06:47. > :06:48.

:06:48. > :06:57.flooded the place. APPLAUSE There's another line. Wait for this one. I

:06:57. > :07:03.should have walked -- I should have worn my dancing pumps! Here they

:07:03. > :07:07.are in training. Last week I was absolutely loving

:07:07. > :07:11.it. There was one moment when we were spinning around and I just

:07:11. > :07:18.thought, this is the most amazing feeling in the world. Then,

:07:18. > :07:23.suddenly, there was a look in his eyes, he had gone blank. Literally

:07:23. > :07:29.nothing. I remember saying to Denise, don't worry! I didn't know

:07:29. > :07:33.what to do. I just launched Mitch at him -- launch myself at him into

:07:33. > :07:36.the routine. It was nothing like it should have been but you can't

:07:36. > :07:39.necessarily tell where we went wrong. It's how you recover, I

:07:39. > :07:43.thought you recovered very well. Well done. He feels bad and I don't

:07:43. > :07:46.want him to feel bad. It feels like a setback but in a way it's good

:07:46. > :07:54.because it's given us a drive to prove ourselves this week. We are

:07:54. > :07:58.going to come back fighting. This week is dance fusion week. I am

:07:58. > :08:01.hoping it's not going to be dance confusion. You look like you

:08:01. > :08:05.remembered that time. Our fusion is a quickstep and the jive.

:08:05. > :08:11.routine is so fast. Denise literally has to move like

:08:11. > :08:15.lightning to keep up. Get up! There's two different ways you can

:08:15. > :08:20.do a dance fusion. The first way you can do half of one dance and

:08:20. > :08:24.half of another dance. The way I want to do it is starting with jive,

:08:24. > :08:29.into quickstep, back into jive, back into quickstep. Finish with

:08:29. > :08:35.jive. Can we slow it down a little bit? No. I am glad we have two

:08:35. > :08:43.difficult dances because we need to impress tphouf get through to the

:08:43. > :08:53.semi-- impress enough to get through to the semifinal. Dancing a

:08:53. > :08:53.

:08:53. > :10:26.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 93 seconds

:10:26. > :10:32.jive-quickstep fusion, Denise Van APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:10:32. > :10:42.What about that! That was wonderful. And the pace of it! I tell you,

:10:42. > :10:44.

:10:44. > :10:53.look at him. Yes, it was wonderful. APPLAUSE AND CHEERING They can't

:10:53. > :11:03.stop. Dance fusion. If I did that, I would need a transfusion. Let's

:11:03. > :11:03.

:11:03. > :11:08.welcome our judges, Craig, Darcey and Len and Bruno. APPLAUSE Bruno,

:11:08. > :11:14.I hope we don't get a repeat performance from you like last week,

:11:14. > :11:21.where you fell off the chair. I mean, off his trolley, yes. But not

:11:21. > :11:26.off his chair. Len, in dance fusion week are there different rules for

:11:26. > :11:30.our dancers? You know, the fusion is a real challenge, not only for

:11:30. > :11:33.the pros because they have to come up with two routines to one piece

:11:33. > :11:36.of music but also for our celebrities, because there's

:11:36. > :11:40.different techniques and characterisations. They're allowed

:11:40. > :11:45.one lift throughout the routine. Unless it's a dance where you are

:11:45. > :11:50.allowed more, in which case you can do the stipulated amount. I have to

:11:50. > :11:55.say this, I thought the quickstep had go and the jive had show. It

:11:55. > :12:00.was a proper fusion. It wasn't just a bit of this. You mixed it up

:12:00. > :12:03.beautifully. The technique in the kicks and flicks in the jive were

:12:03. > :12:08.different to the quickstep. You didn't quite manage that all the

:12:08. > :12:15.way through, sometimes the quickstep flicks were jive-ified

:12:15. > :12:22.and there was a slip-up. I got my heel caught in this. I had to kick

:12:22. > :12:28.my skirt off. You can see where it went. What am I going to do? Could

:12:28. > :12:38.you sew it back together for me? You were probably cocking your leg

:12:38. > :12:38.

:12:38. > :12:45.up too high at the time. I enjoyed it very much. Bruno. Yes, that was

:12:45. > :12:50.a high popping explosive jive. Morphing beautifully into a lively

:12:50. > :12:53.quickstep. The momentum - you were going at the speed of light! That

:12:53. > :12:58.moment when you caught yourself, you know, these things happen. It

:12:58. > :13:04.was superb. Len is right, the the kicks and flicks were different.

:13:04. > :13:12.The jive was incredible. The precision and accuracy was

:13:12. > :13:16.outstanding. Craig? Yes, I agree. The jive part

:13:17. > :13:21.was incredible actually. Your kicks and flicks are absolutely fantastic.

:13:21. > :13:27.Really brilliant. Also, in the quickstep that could sometimes just

:13:27. > :13:32.be a little bit smoother. It was a little bit bouncy for me. Again,

:13:32. > :13:38.incredible spins. You are so proficient at that. All the

:13:38. > :13:42.elements fused beautifully. It is a terrible shame. James remembered

:13:42. > :13:50.the routine. James, thank you for remembering the routine. It was a

:13:50. > :13:58.terrible shame you went wrong and you did finish late at the end.

:13:58. > :14:02.choreographied it that way. Nice try! Darcey? The guys are right,

:14:02. > :14:07.your strength is the jive and the action and the attack is fabulous.

:14:07. > :14:10.Wye say the same as Craig, too much bounce in the quickstep but I love

:14:10. > :14:18.your determination. You go out there and you want to perfect every

:14:18. > :14:28.move. It's fabulous to watch. you. You really do. Quite a team.

:14:28. > :14:28.

:14:28. > :14:34.Off you go. APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Now that is how you kick off a show.

:14:34. > :14:40.It was fun, I loved it. Apart from this, my heel was right through the

:14:40. > :14:44.dress. It was a great recovery. Well done you. We might have to bin

:14:44. > :14:47.the dress. Never mind. Have you been - do you feel the competition

:14:47. > :14:52.is getting tougher now we are getting closer to the final? It's

:14:52. > :14:56.so much you have toer. The standard is -- tougher. The standard is so

:14:56. > :14:59.high. They've lifted their game. Have you enjoying combining the

:14:59. > :15:03.ballroom and Latin? It's been exhausting, though. This week has

:15:03. > :15:06.been tiring because it's the two fastest dances, quickstep and jive

:15:06. > :15:11.but she worked so hard. Puts in so many hours and I am very proud.

:15:11. > :15:15.Whatever happens tonight, I think you are brilliant. Thanks, James.

:15:15. > :15:25.She's fitter than you now, James. He is the one out of breath! The

:15:25. > :15:38.

:15:38. > :15:42.Great score. That's brilliant. Better than last week. Yes. Great

:15:42. > :15:47.score. Of course it is, I am not arguing. Pleased with that.

:15:47. > :15:53.judges have told us what they think. Now it's your turn. If you want to

:15:53. > :16:03.make sure your favourites tphr the semifinals there's two ways to vote.

:16:03. > :16:08.To keep Denise in the kpe Lines are going to open once all

:16:08. > :16:13.the couples have danced. The journey to the semifinal has begun.

:16:13. > :16:22.We are up and running. Who's next, Bruce? The next couple tonight is

:16:22. > :16:29.Lisa Riley and her partner, Robin Windsor. APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Now

:16:29. > :16:34.then, very popular lady. Right. I was talking to Lisa and I said,

:16:34. > :16:42.your surname is very difficult to pronounce. She said, is it really?

:16:42. > :16:47.I said, no, it's Riley. APPLAUSE You see what I mean. She even gets

:16:47. > :16:56.it wrong herself. Here they are - I wish you would love more! Here they

:16:56. > :17:01.are in -- I would I -- I wish you would laugh more. Here they are in

:17:01. > :17:11.training. Last Saturday we danced to Sunshine, it was a dream come

:17:11. > :17:12.

:17:12. > :17:18.true. I thought nothing would top Wembley. But Len said... Eric and

:17:18. > :17:25.Ernie are looking down. They're my idols, it's made my year.

:17:25. > :17:33.energy is incredible. You bring it alive. It's the furtherest I have

:17:33. > :17:42.ever got in the competition. Let's hope it just continues. Me and

:17:42. > :17:46.Robin are dancing the tango and cha-cha to Abba's Voulez Vous.

:17:46. > :17:51.Strictly has never done dance fusion before and it's tough.

:17:51. > :17:57.difficulties from going to tango and cha-cha is the legs. And back!

:17:57. > :18:02.Sorry, sorry! It's tough to get one dance style, so to get two we have

:18:02. > :18:06.a big challenge. It's the cha-cha first to make sure it's right.

:18:06. > :18:13.have seen a difference with him this week. You don't like me.

:18:13. > :18:16.love you, but I don't like you. He has a dose of the Artems. He is

:18:16. > :18:21.really stern. Higher, higher! I want to get this right. I am going

:18:21. > :18:25.to work so hard. I don't care what it takes but I am going to make

:18:25. > :18:29.sure she does a fantastic job. I am going to get a slap before the end

:18:29. > :18:39.of the week. I need to up my game because I would love a place in the

:18:39. > :18:40.

:18:40. > :18:50.final five. Dancing a tango-cha-cha fusion Lisa Riley and her partner

:18:50. > :18:50.

:18:50. > :20:34.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 93 seconds

:20:34. > :20:39.Lisa, look at them over there. There we are. That was lovely. That

:20:39. > :20:44.was so lovely. Not only did you do a beautiful dance, you did air

:20:44. > :20:48.conditioning for the whole place. It was wonderful. While you two

:20:48. > :20:53.catch your breath it gives us a chance to welcome our fabulous

:20:53. > :20:56.singers, Dave Arch and his wonderful, wonderful orchestra.

:20:57. > :21:04.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING There you go. Thank you. You do

:21:04. > :21:09.such a wonderful job for us every week. Pwraoupb? -- Bruno. Lisa, I

:21:09. > :21:12.love the way you expose yourself, all that reveal. You were like a

:21:12. > :21:17.glitterball under a searchlight. You were dazzling. The cha-cha-cha

:21:17. > :21:20.suits you down to a tee. Cheeky, naughty, it allows you to express

:21:20. > :21:24.yourself in fantastic ways. The tango was better than the usual

:21:25. > :21:29.ballroom. The top line was better, you tried much harder to make it

:21:29. > :21:39.work. Obviously, the cha-cha-cha was much stronger because it is you.

:21:39. > :21:41.

:21:41. > :21:45.It is really suits you down to a tee. Now then, Craig? Yes, the cha-

:21:45. > :21:52.cha-cha was better than your tango. Your top line is failing new the

:21:52. > :21:57.tango and in all the ballroom stuff. Sadly, we do have to get really

:21:57. > :22:00.specific now and look for these sort of faults. Also a little ahead,

:22:00. > :22:07.you were anticipating some of the steps particularly up here. The

:22:07. > :22:12.dance really took off when your clothes came off, of course.

:22:12. > :22:21.dear! True. I loved the two characters, actually. It was really

:22:21. > :22:26.good. Thank you, thaeug, for -- Craig, for your first cha-cha-cha

:22:26. > :22:30.of the series. Darcey? Actually for me I thought your tango was the

:22:30. > :22:33.stronger one, surprisingly with a partying beat you attacked it

:22:33. > :22:39.really well and I thought your top line had improved and you held and

:22:39. > :22:43.the shaping was better. I thought the cha-cha got loose and the

:22:43. > :22:48.cleanness lost it and it was sharp and you needed sharper, stronger

:22:48. > :22:58.legs and snappier moves. But always a fabulous performance. You always

:22:58. > :22:59.

:22:59. > :23:04.give your all. Never let's us down. OK, Len? Your enthusiasm is

:23:04. > :23:09.infectious. It's always fun. It's always joyous to watch. You come

:23:09. > :23:13.out with such verve. You went wrong in the cha-cha-cha. I did. There

:23:13. > :23:16.was an incident. It was one of those things. For me it was all too

:23:16. > :23:25.predictable. I like the fusions to be a little bit, what's coming

:23:25. > :23:30.next? Oh, what's coming next! However, as I said at the beginning,

:23:30. > :23:38.for enthusiasm you are the kid. Well done. Thank you so much.

:23:38. > :23:47.are the Queen. Off you go, darling. Lovely, lovely. APPLAUSE AND

:23:47. > :23:56.CHEERING Are you glad it's over? I just want

:23:56. > :24:01.to say I am sorry. It's all right. A slip-up? A little faux pas.

:24:01. > :24:05.week one you wowed us with the cha- cha. Did you enjoy revisiting it?

:24:05. > :24:12.did love it. Obviously, doing the catch at the end, you know, it was

:24:12. > :24:16.famous from week one and thank you, Robin, for picking me up.

:24:16. > :24:21.reversed it. Did you ever think you would make it this far in the

:24:21. > :24:25.competition. Honestly, I said I thought I might get one ballroom

:24:25. > :24:28.and one Latin. The final is so close and I am having the time of

:24:28. > :24:33.my life, it's amazing. We are having the time of our life with

:24:33. > :24:36.you. We are loving it. I see your face in the results show, you are

:24:37. > :24:41.so relieved to not be in the dance- off. That scares you. I am a

:24:41. > :24:49.nightmare when it comes to the Sunday and I become like a rabbit,

:24:49. > :24:53.I bury myself deeper into Robin's beautiful chest. You had a touch of

:24:53. > :25:03.the Artems, getting tough in training? A little. It's time, you

:25:03. > :25:20.

:25:20. > :25:24.know. It's rubbing off, Artem. The 30. Lisa's kicked, flicked, jumped

:25:24. > :25:34.her heart out and she needs your calls to make it through to the

:25:34. > :25:39.Only call after all our couples have danced. We have lots more

:25:39. > :25:45.fusion fun to be had. Louis will be aiming to hit the top spot again

:25:45. > :25:53.with a very sexy tango and rumba. Can't wait. Who is next?

:25:53. > :25:57.Right our third couple is Nicky Byrne and his partner, Karen Hauer.

:25:57. > :26:03.APPLAUSE Very popular. They're going to be dancing to a song by

:26:03. > :26:12.Olly Murs and Flo Rida. Nicky asked me if I ever heard of Flo Rida? I

:26:12. > :26:20.said, of course I have, I am not stupid, I went to Flo Rida once on

:26:20. > :26:26.my holidays. APPLAUSE Allan Carr gave me that joke. Was he glad to

:26:26. > :26:30.get rid of it! Here they are in training.

:26:30. > :26:37.I was really, really up for Saturday night. I knew I had to

:26:37. > :26:41.deliver a good performance. You got to be uber cool. A little bit too

:26:41. > :26:45.sharp. It's because you put so much power into it. Everyone on the

:26:45. > :26:48.panel is right, it was too aggressive and stompy. When I got

:26:48. > :26:51.the score I knew that wasn't good enough at this stage of the

:26:51. > :26:56.competition. The couple in the bottom two tonight is... Nicky and

:26:56. > :27:00.Karen. Going up against my mate Vaughany was extra hard. Nobody

:27:00. > :27:05.wants to go home, you don't want to knock your buddy out on the show

:27:05. > :27:09.either. This couple were sensational. Nicky and Karen.

:27:09. > :27:14.the second time in the dance-off. I don't want to be there again. But

:27:14. > :27:20.it's next, you move on. This week we are dancing a fusion of the

:27:20. > :27:25.samba and the American smooth foxtrot to Troublemaker by Olly

:27:25. > :27:29.Murs. Does that make sense? Good! Mixing two dances is very

:27:29. > :27:34.complicated especially since you have to teach two different

:27:34. > :27:38.techniques, two different timings to one track. Is that foxtrot or

:27:38. > :27:43.samba? I am not even asking. It's a challenge. The reason I did this

:27:43. > :27:49.show was for a challenge. One step away from the semifinals and two

:27:49. > :27:54.steps from the final. Up and down every mountain that Strictly has to

:27:54. > :27:57.offer. Dance fusion equals injury dance. I am still here. I am

:27:57. > :28:04.literally going to give this absolutely everything because I

:28:04. > :28:14.have no intention of going home. Dancing an American smooth-samba

:28:14. > :28:14.

:28:14. > :29:51.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 93 seconds

:29:51. > :29:57.fusion, Nicky Byrne and his partner APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:29:57. > :30:05.Oh, well done you two. Some lovely little moves. The moves were

:30:05. > :30:11.beautiful. Craig? You need a lot more bounce in the samba. There

:30:11. > :30:19.wasn't any at all. BOOING. posture in the American smooth part

:30:19. > :30:22.was truly dreadful, I have to be honest. Bent knees. It was very

:30:22. > :30:30.haphazard. I suspect we are going to be seeing that dance again.

:30:30. > :30:35.no. How cruel. Darcey? Nicky, you started really well. You present it

:30:35. > :30:41.very well. It was very well staged. I loved the choreography and the

:30:41. > :30:46.changes were very neat. Very clean. It is true, your shoulders let you

:30:46. > :30:50.down. You do excellent lifts but they do, you know, get in the way,

:30:50. > :30:55.sadly especially in the quickstep. You overexten the arms a lot in the

:30:55. > :31:04.samba. A lot of that. In front. But your performance value was very

:31:04. > :31:08.good. You sell it. APPLAUSE Now then, Len? To fuse these two dances

:31:08. > :31:14.together, samba and the American smooth foxtrot was the greatest

:31:14. > :31:17.challenge we have seen so far. That was a tough call. I think the samba

:31:17. > :31:21.was terrific, you did get the bounce action. I told you before

:31:21. > :31:25.about the ballroom dancing, you never straighten your knees, you

:31:25. > :31:31.are always flexed too much. But I thought the mix was good. The lifts

:31:31. > :31:39.were good. I thought you came out and did a good job. Very nice. Good

:31:39. > :31:44.old Len. Good for you, Len. Bruno? Oh, you little troublemaker! Listen,

:31:44. > :31:49.I have to say that was really a heroic effort. There couldn't be

:31:49. > :31:54.two dances more different than the samba and American smooth-based

:31:54. > :32:00.foxtrot. It's like, you know, the night and day and it's incredibly

:32:00. > :32:07.difficult. There was a lot of technical shortcomings but you give

:32:07. > :32:11.always 110 perbs and -- 110% and I commend you for it. Don't worry

:32:11. > :32:15.because of the first two comments, I am going to make you my favourite.

:32:16. > :32:25.I haven't said that - you are my favourite. Go on. APPLAUSE AND

:32:26. > :32:27.

:32:27. > :32:33.CHEERING The most challenging fusion of the

:32:33. > :32:39.night so far. Very challenging. would have to be me to pick that

:32:39. > :32:44.one! Heroic, said Bruno. Credit where it's true. Michael went out

:32:44. > :32:49.last week, are you doing it for the lads this week? He has been texting

:32:49. > :32:54.me. And my mum's in tonight. Your mum's in the audience. Craig, look

:32:54. > :32:57.out. His mum's coming to get you. enjoyed it. That's what it's all

:32:57. > :33:05.about. It's about giving it everything you have on the dance

:33:05. > :33:10.floor. Before Strictly you never really danced. Westlife, famously,

:33:10. > :33:15.you barely left the stool. Sang beautifully, though! How would you

:33:15. > :33:18.feel if it was to end before the semis? Devastated. Absolutely, the

:33:18. > :33:23.work you put in and for me and Karen, you know, it's been a long

:33:23. > :33:26.journey. We wobbled a bit at the start with the judges and we are

:33:26. > :33:29.still wobbling! I would love to stay in, it's about giving it

:33:29. > :33:39.everything you have and if everyone can vote, maybe I can go next week,

:33:39. > :33:55.

:33:55. > :34:01.Not your best score. No. Judging tpwhaeu reaction to Craig's 5,

:34:01. > :34:05.hopefully viewers aren't going to agree with him. Nicky's come to far.

:34:05. > :34:09.He doesn't want to say goodbye. You can do something about it. Call

:34:09. > :34:14.from your mobile or from a land line. Don't call yet, I will let

:34:14. > :34:24.you know when the lines open later. Back to you, Bruce. Thank you, Tess.

:34:24. > :34:25.

:34:25. > :34:31.Our next couple, Dani Harmer and her partner, Vincent Simone.

:34:31. > :34:35.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING This week, Dani told everyone she's given up

:34:35. > :34:39.drink while still in the competition. Len should do that. At

:34:39. > :34:46.this time of the year he gets through two bottles of alcohol a

:34:46. > :34:54.week. He is not a big drinker, he just uses it to pickle his walnuts.

:34:54. > :35:00.There you are, Len. Keep pickling! It's like a commercial on BBC,

:35:00. > :35:10.would you believe. By the way, have a close-up here, that is not a

:35:10. > :35:20.

:35:20. > :35:26.walnut. That's Len's face. APPLAUSE Why you?! Here they are in training.

:35:26. > :35:31.Our dance last week was definitely Italian-based and Vincent grew a

:35:31. > :35:36.mouse moustache especially for the occasion. Pwraoupb was just saying

:35:36. > :35:42.-- Bruno was just saying beautiful, gorgeous, but he kept looking at me.

:35:42. > :35:47.It was enchanting, my darling. was so nervous during the

:35:47. > :35:55.eliminations so when our name was finally read out I was screaming.

:35:55. > :36:03.was so proud of my little Dani. This week it's dance fusion. We are

:36:03. > :36:11.dancing a quickstep and the Charleston. Oh! It's the same spot!

:36:11. > :36:16.We are going to call it the quick- ston. Very clever. I think we have

:36:16. > :36:26.been the perfect fusion of dance partners. No, bella, the perfect

:36:26. > :36:33.

:36:33. > :36:41.fusion would be me and me. Bella! High-five. I am not sure about that,

:36:41. > :36:45.Vincent. Go faster! It's the first time on Strictly that dance fusion

:36:45. > :36:50.has ever been done. I am really, really terrified because it could

:36:50. > :36:53.either work beautifully or it could be a dance disaster. I don't like

:36:53. > :36:57.that bit. I want to be in the semifinal more than I have wanted

:36:57. > :37:05.anything in my whole life, because honestly this has been the best

:37:05. > :37:07.experience ever and I don't want it to end yet.

:37:07. > :37:17.Dancing a Charleston-quickstep fusion, Dani Harmer and her partner

:37:17. > :37:17.

:37:17. > :39:06.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 93 seconds

:39:06. > :39:16.Dani, look, that's all for you, my love. Our first standing ovation of

:39:16. > :39:17.

:39:17. > :39:23.the night. You got them on their feet. Come on, where's that smile?

:39:23. > :39:28.That was wonderful. Well, Darcey, what did you think? That was

:39:28. > :39:32.extraordinary. I mean, got it made with the two dances because they're

:39:32. > :39:37.both from the 1920s so they mould perfectly together but you also

:39:37. > :39:41.upped the technical ability. I mean, the most beautiful wave arched the

:39:41. > :39:48.-- around the dance floor and that was stunning that in and out, that

:39:48. > :39:56.was really beautiful. It was seamless. The transitions from the

:39:56. > :40:00.cheeky, fun - I loved it. Sweet Charleston. Well done. Len? I would

:40:00. > :40:10.have been more happy with your feet if I had seen the occasional heel

:40:10. > :40:20.lead but having said that... Yum- yum, pig's bum, that was fun. I

:40:20. > :40:22.

:40:22. > :40:27.loved it, well done! Well, Bruno? That really was an exuberant fusion

:40:27. > :40:33.frenzy. It was like watching a flapper's greatest hits! The

:40:33. > :40:41.Charleston and quickstep, are like two sides of the same coin and you

:40:41. > :40:47.paid it full-time! It was brilliant. Styleistically it was absolute

:40:47. > :40:51.perfection. The sequence, the runs, the whole sequence was a delight.

:40:51. > :40:54.After last week with the Viennese, which was charming and a different

:40:54. > :41:03.style and now to come out and do that, it was something. Craig, do

:41:03. > :41:08.you agree? Yes, so far, I think the chory has been brilliant and --

:41:09. > :41:14.choreography has been brilliant and you did a great job on that routine.

:41:14. > :41:24.Come on! Away you go. You are a wonderful pair. APPLAUSE AND

:41:24. > :41:27.CHEERING Yeah! You little flapper, you.

:41:28. > :41:31.First standing ovation of the night. Bruno said perfection. You can't

:41:31. > :41:34.get better than that, can you? really can't. How much would it

:41:34. > :41:38.mean to reach the semifinals? Everything. I am having the best

:41:38. > :41:44.time ever and I want to do it for this man here. First Charleston,

:41:44. > :41:54.well done, Vincent. A first for you. It might be the last as well.

:41:54. > :42:17.

:42:17. > :42:23.Two 10s. Yes! Your first of the series. Really well done. If the

:42:23. > :42:31.Charleston and quickstep mash-up wowed you, you will need these

:42:31. > :42:37.numbers: Don't call until lines open later.

:42:37. > :42:45.Heavy breathing next to me! Take some oxygen! Still two more couples.

:42:45. > :42:48.Who is next? Next is Louis Smith and his partner,

:42:48. > :42:54.Flavia Cacace. APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Another wonderful couple.

:42:54. > :42:57.Remember, in their routine last week Louis was a doctor and after

:42:57. > :43:02.the performance a woman from the audience rushed on and said, can

:43:02. > :43:11.you examine me? I feel faint. He said, but I am not really a doctor.

:43:11. > :43:15.She said, that's all right, I don't really feel faint. APPLAUSE Where

:43:15. > :43:22.do these women come from? They never bother me. Here they are in

:43:22. > :43:26.training. I really felt under pressure, so I

:43:27. > :43:32.really had to go out and perform and luckily I did that. The

:43:32. > :43:34.Olympics was obviously a different level, but last Saturday, wow. It

:43:34. > :43:37.was unbelievable. Never experienced anything like that before in my

:43:37. > :43:42.life. The reception from the audience, I couldn't believe it.

:43:42. > :43:48.They got louder and louder and started stamping their feet. I was

:43:48. > :43:53.thinking OK, maybe it will go up to a nine and Darcey's ten and I

:43:53. > :44:01.couldn't believe it. I actually couldn't believe it. Oh my! I was

:44:01. > :44:04.so used to getting those scores and Bruno gave me ten, it was

:44:04. > :44:07.unbelievable. I managed to find a little bit of character in this

:44:07. > :44:13.Charleston. I am on a roll and I need to keep this performance side

:44:13. > :44:17.going. It was the best feeling. This week dance fusion, we are

:44:17. > :44:22.combining tango and the rumba. rumba is a dance of love and Louis

:44:22. > :44:30.really needs to act the part. have to act like a ladies' man and

:44:30. > :44:36.I am not sexy, girls do not look at me that way. Louis has it in his

:44:36. > :44:40.head girls don't fancy him. I am not exactly Brad Pitt. Hello, he is

:44:40. > :44:46.hot! Am I wrong, ladies? Come on. To get to the semifinal I need to

:44:46. > :44:51.come across as some kind of Romeo. I need a miracle. Hi. All right?

:44:51. > :45:01.Girls don't even notice me. I don't know how I am supposed to get into

:45:01. > :45:03.

:45:03. > :45:11.character. Louis. What? Oh! Dancing a tango-rumba fusion, Louis Smith

:45:11. > :45:21.a tango-rumba fusion, Louis Smith and his partner Flavia Cacace.

:45:21. > :45:21.

:45:21. > :46:53.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 93 seconds

:46:53. > :47:01.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Here we go again! They're all up.

:47:01. > :47:07.Louis, have a look at them. And around here. Look. You did it. You

:47:07. > :47:12.two did it. I have always admired you so much as a tango dancer. You

:47:12. > :47:17.are the best and always have been and you passed it over to dear

:47:17. > :47:27.Louis. Len? Rumba and tango, two dances each end of the dance

:47:27. > :47:29.

:47:29. > :47:38.spectrum and you pulled it off great. Well done. Bruno. I am with

:47:38. > :47:43.you, the build-up from soft and sense annual -- sense annual to hot.

:47:43. > :47:49.Yes, you are masterful! Keep it up, it's going the right way. Craig

:47:49. > :47:53.looks pensive. Well, I have to say you danced that with effortless

:47:53. > :47:59.dexterity. You really did. I have one complaint, however, your thumb

:47:59. > :48:05.was newspaper the tango. -- your thumb was up in the tango. It will

:48:05. > :48:10.probably finish up in your eye, but never mind! Darcey? The emotion was

:48:10. > :48:16.perfect. It was expressive. Those arms were delicious. I loved it.

:48:16. > :48:26.The tango, crisp. One of your best. It was. Be proud about that. It was

:48:26. > :48:28.

:48:28. > :48:35.great. Off you go. APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:48:35. > :48:43.Yes! Delicious arms indeed. Go on. Thumbs up, Craig. Show us the rumba

:48:44. > :48:48.arm again. They're fabulous. all right. Good arms. Yes, Darcey,

:48:48. > :48:51.fabulous! You are used to winning medals as an Olympian. Now you are

:48:51. > :48:57.a contender in Strictly. How much do you want to be in the final?

:48:58. > :49:02.would love to thereby. I am used -- to be there. I am used to winning

:49:02. > :49:12.silver and bronze. You want the real thing. A chance to fight for

:49:12. > :49:26.

:49:26. > :49:31.first place, I would love to get to Come on! A ten in there. Well

:49:32. > :49:37.deserved, Louis. The audience are going wild in here, again. It

:49:37. > :49:40.started last week when you let the real Louis out. He is here to stay.

:49:40. > :49:50.Did it get you hot under the collar? Don't just sit there

:49:50. > :49:52.

:49:52. > :49:56.feeling flustered make a note of If you are loving the dance action

:49:56. > :50:00.tonight check out the back stage gossip at:

:50:00. > :50:09.And you can see us on Facebook and Twitter. Who is last, Bruce? Our

:50:09. > :50:13.final couple tonight is Kimberley Walsh and her partier, Pasha --

:50:13. > :50:18.partner Pasha Kovalev. Another wonderful couple. This week

:50:18. > :50:23.Kimberley has revealed the secret of her success in Strictly,

:50:23. > :50:27.chocolate. She loves chocolate, as I do. She's been getting through

:50:27. > :50:34.loads of the stuff, that's apart from still having her five pieces

:50:34. > :50:44.of fruit every day, three chocolate oranges, a bag of chocolate raisins

:50:44. > :50:47.

:50:47. > :50:51.and a bar of Fruit and Nut. Here Our jive on Saturday night went

:50:51. > :50:55.pretty well. We really went from it from the start of our routine. When

:50:56. > :51:01.Darcey said that I kept up the energy levels with Pasha, I was

:51:01. > :51:05.like, yes! I think I actually did celebrate on camera. Bruno's

:51:05. > :51:10.comments were great. Great energy and timing. Side to side kicks and

:51:10. > :51:17.flicks were excellent. We had a difficult trick which unfortunately

:51:17. > :51:22.didn't go to plan. There was a couple of moments, something I

:51:22. > :51:26.thought was -- spoiled something that was almost perfect.

:51:26. > :51:30.highest score from Craig. Overall, we really enjoyed the dance and we

:51:30. > :51:37.are not going to stop fighting now. The semifinals are a week away.

:51:37. > :51:42.This is dance fusion and we are dancing to The Weather Girls and

:51:42. > :51:49.It's Raining Men. We are do a cha- cha and tango fusion. It's really

:51:49. > :51:54.hard. You are switching between kind of going... Tango and cha-cha

:51:54. > :52:00.this week has had an effect on Kimberley. It's like two dances are

:52:00. > :52:06.controlling her personality. Woah! Doing the cha-cha Kimberley is all

:52:06. > :52:11.sweetness and smiles. Hey, cha-cha- cha! As soon as we go to tango...

:52:11. > :52:15.Let's work on tango now. OK. can turn so quickly and I never

:52:16. > :52:25.know what's coming next. I don't think it's having much impact on me.

:52:26. > :52:26.

:52:26. > :52:36.Ready for tango? Argh! Dancing a tango-cha-cha fusion,

:52:36. > :52:36.

:52:36. > :54:16.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 93 seconds

:54:16. > :54:22.Kimberley Walsh and her partner APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:54:22. > :54:28.Kimberley, look, it's all for you. Pasha, as well. They loved it. They

:54:28. > :54:36.loved it! They won't stop. Three standing

:54:36. > :54:42.ovations to finish with. What a night. Bruno? You started a nuclear

:54:42. > :54:52.fusion! That was incredible. There was a surprise at the end, from the

:54:52. > :54:52.

:54:53. > :55:00.cha-cha sexy kitten, to tango's mischiefous mistress. Imaginative.

:55:00. > :55:10.Seamless. The dance of the season so far. It was outstanding. It was

:55:10. > :55:16.incredible. Well, Craig? That is dancing! What about that, what a

:55:16. > :55:21.night this is. Darcey? Wow, Kimberley, your pouting, fabulous

:55:21. > :55:30.pout into a sparkling smile. This suited you perfectly. I loved it.

:55:30. > :55:40.You made it your own. I loved it. Fabulous. And Len? I am going to

:55:40. > :55:42.

:55:42. > :55:52.join the audience, well done. happy for you. What a finish. You

:55:52. > :55:53.

:55:53. > :55:59.made it. Go on, off you go. APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:55:59. > :56:05.Wow, wow! That's worth a cuddle, thank you. I will take it where I

:56:05. > :56:09.can get them. You were so nervous. You were pacing. She was so nervous

:56:09. > :56:12.and you would never know. You tphaeuld it. -- nailed it. Bless

:56:12. > :56:19.you, thank you for your encouragement. Everyone is on their

:56:19. > :56:27.feet. Amazing. And the faces. it so much. Tango face and cha-cha

:56:27. > :56:31.face. Brilliant. Split personality. You nailed that, as well. How much

:56:31. > :56:36.do you want to be in the semifinal? I cannot even explain how amazing

:56:36. > :56:46.it would be to be there next week. You have had 34 four times. Do you

:56:46. > :57:09.

:57:09. > :57:19.think we can beat that tonight? APPLAUSE AND CHEERING I have tears

:57:19. > :57:21.

:57:21. > :57:26.in my eyes! Thank you. Amazing. Yes! The highest score. It's a full

:57:26. > :57:32.house. Kimberley, what does it feel like? Speechless. It feels amazing.

:57:32. > :57:36.Thank you. Really well deserved. I know how much you have trained and

:57:36. > :57:46.how much it means. Did Kimberley's split personality fusion leave you

:57:46. > :57:52.

:57:52. > :57:55.wanting more? She's done all she Lines are going to open in moments.

:57:55. > :57:58.That's it. Phenomenal. Our sensational six have danced,

:57:58. > :58:07.they've been scored by the judges and let's look at the leader board.

:58:07. > :58:12.We know who is top! The judges' favourite, a full house. Kimberley

:58:12. > :58:16.and Pasha. What a dance. Nicky and Karen are at the bottom spot there

:58:16. > :58:20.with one point. Now you can change all of that simply by picking up

:58:20. > :58:24.the phone and voting for your favourite couple and tkoubg it --
