:04:53. > :04:55.niggles, some very tired legs, but overall, looking fantastic. But

:04:56. > :04:59.enough about me... LAUGHTER

:05:00. > :05:04.How are you lot bearing up? Eight hours a day - people don't believe

:05:05. > :05:08.that you do work as hard as you do. Well done. Training very hard. All

:05:09. > :05:12.our couples are hoping to impress the judges. And you at home. As

:05:13. > :05:16.weeks go by, the stakes get higher and higher. Nobody wants to face the

:05:17. > :05:29.dreaded dance-off. No, they don't. Our first couple tonight is Natalie

:05:30. > :05:34.and her partner, Artem. APPLAUSE

:05:35. > :05:39.Natalie is young, current and with it. She asked if I knew what

:05:40. > :05:44.twerking is. LAUGHTER

:05:45. > :05:49.I said, "Of course I know what twerking is. It's what Yorkshire

:05:50. > :05:54.people do to earn a living. They go t'work.

:05:55. > :06:03.Don't they? APPLAUSE

:06:04. > :06:09.There's Tess here. What did you come here for? T'work. That's it. Vernon

:06:10. > :06:15.goes t'work as well. Here they are in training.

:06:16. > :06:22.Last week, I was thrilled to be on the dance floor after what had been

:06:23. > :06:26.a scary week. You have had a lot of problems with your back this week.

:06:27. > :06:30.How did it feel tonight? My back is now on the mend. I'm looking forward

:06:31. > :06:33.to putting all that behind me. I can't believe you delivered a dance

:06:34. > :06:39.of this standard in such a short time. Stunning. We were thrilled

:06:40. > :06:46.with the score from last week. I love that time on the dance floor.

:06:47. > :06:51.It's a joy like no other. This week we are dancing the samba. It should

:06:52. > :06:56.be really simple and it's really not. Yeah, that's not going to work.

:06:57. > :07:00.It feels like walking. I can do this, but I can't do this. The thing

:07:01. > :07:05.that we're missing is the character and the feel of the dance. I've

:07:06. > :07:11.never been to mainland Spain. I'm not sure what we're going to bring

:07:12. > :07:19.to this routine to get it authentic. Look at me. I decide to bring Spain

:07:20. > :07:27.here. Look at those hips moving.

:07:28. > :07:31.Did I have fun? No. Did it help the routine? Yes. The rung up has

:07:32. > :09:34.finally got me. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:09:35. > :09:38.What about this? What a start! That was so good. I wish you could have

:09:39. > :09:43.seen it while you were doing it, it was that good.

:09:44. > :09:52.I tell you, you are a natural. Of course, we have our judges, Craig,

:09:53. > :09:53.Darcey, Len and Bruno. APPLAUSE

:09:54. > :10:00.how are you feeling, Craig? Fantastically well actually. I think

:10:01. > :10:04.you're very brave to be here, I must say.

:10:05. > :10:09.APPLAUSE I would miss it, darling, for the

:10:10. > :10:15.world. Even Bruno. All right then. Last

:10:16. > :10:20.week all the male judges gave such concise, constructive comments.

:10:21. > :10:26.Craig told Rachel to clench her buttocks. Len said Susanna was all

:10:27. > :10:32.bounce, bum and bongos. And Bruno fell off his chair.

:10:33. > :10:38.That's what I like and love about this show, class, elegance and

:10:39. > :10:42.sophistication. When are we going to get some? That's what I want to

:10:43. > :10:48.know. Len, what did you think? You won't get any from me. I was %

:10:49. > :10:53.operating and flap lating, I'm telling you.

:10:54. > :10:58.That was terrific. I loved that choreography. I thought you danced

:10:59. > :11:01.it brilliantly well. Could have had a tad more bounce here and there.

:11:02. > :11:12.But overall, I'm telling you, Natalie, that was great. The

:11:13. > :11:22.choreography, the way you dance together. Absolutely. Hypnotic,

:11:23. > :11:26.exotic, with a touch of the erotic. The sensuality in those hips, I'm

:11:27. > :11:30.telling you, you could sell it and make a fortune. Apart from that,

:11:31. > :11:37.there's one thing that ip love about you, you extend your lines to the

:11:38. > :11:41.limit, right to the last beat of the bar without missing a beat with your

:11:42. > :11:45.legs and arms. I love seeing those things. This is what makes dancing

:11:46. > :11:49.exciting and it really is exciting watching you.

:11:50. > :11:54.Thank you so much. You really do. You dance with the

:11:55. > :12:00.music. It's very hard to do for some people. Craig? I think you need to

:12:01. > :12:04.heighten your double bounce action. That was something that escaped you.

:12:05. > :12:09.That gives this dance its character. That was missing. Your elbows a

:12:10. > :12:16.little bit on the free arms are a bit too close to your body. I'm

:12:17. > :12:22.being picky because she's very good. Your hips were fantastic though.

:12:23. > :12:27.Timing, as always, brilliant. Is there nothing you can't do, darling?

:12:28. > :12:33.Amazing. Darcey? What a lovely opening

:12:34. > :12:36.performance. Thank you. And the flamenco style really suits you. I

:12:37. > :12:40.think Spain is your place. You have to do more of that. It's very nice.

:12:41. > :12:44.I would only say on the kick, just watch when you try I to get that

:12:45. > :12:50.height, don't let the supporting leg bend. Great performance.

:12:51. > :12:56.No more to say. You can't beat that really. Go on. Off you go.

:12:57. > :13:15.Yes! Safe to say, these guys know how to get the party started. Great

:13:16. > :13:19.comments and a standing ovation. How much are you enjoying the Strictly

:13:20. > :13:24.experience now? It's just magic, I want it eat it. And the back, is it

:13:25. > :13:29.all better now? It's much better. I'm still on a few pain killers, but

:13:30. > :13:35.much better than I was. Not as many? Not as many. I'm much more pleasant

:13:36. > :13:40.today. Unlike Artem who fractured his nose in the dress run today, did

:13:41. > :13:43.you? Just a little. Took an injury earlier today in the

:13:44. > :13:45.studio. Don't worry that beautiful face still looks perfect.

:13:46. > :14:13.Look at that smile. Scores are in. ( Wow! Great score. Fabulous start to

:14:14. > :14:20.the show. If that brought a smile to your face call from your mobile or

:14:21. > :14:27.land line and you can vote online. You can register at

:14:28. > :14:30.bbc.co.uk/Strictly. Voting lines don't open until all our couples

:14:31. > :14:34.have danced. Please don't call now. If you do your vote won't count and

:14:35. > :14:37.you may be charged. The couples with the lowest combined scores will be

:14:38. > :14:41.in the dance-off tomorrow night. Motorbike wants to be there --

:14:42. > :14:48.nobody wants to be there. Now for our next couple, Abbey

:14:49. > :14:54.Clancy and her partner, Aljaz. Lovely looking couple these two.

:14:55. > :15:00.What beautiful people they are. Abbey has a two-and-a-half-year-old

:15:01. > :15:05.little girl, Sophia. She always watches the show. This week, I'm

:15:06. > :15:18.going to do a joke for Sophia. Ready? Good. What did the snail say

:15:19. > :15:23.when he was riding on the back of a tortoise? Weeeee! I hope you're

:15:24. > :15:28.laughing. It got a good laugh here and I didn't expect it. I tell you,

:15:29. > :15:39.we'll do more of those! Here they are in training.

:15:40. > :15:45.You are a formidable couple. Score 9, 9, 9 and 8. I was so nervous. I

:15:46. > :15:50.can't describe how terrifying it is. I had to do this sweep with my leg

:15:51. > :15:55.and I couldn't lean on my other leg because I was trembling that much.

:15:56. > :16:03.When I had to touch Aljaz my hand was shaking. It doesn't get any

:16:04. > :16:07.easier. This week we have the foxtrot. I noticed on Saturday that

:16:08. > :16:11.you were shaking a lot. I don't think it could possibly ever get any

:16:12. > :16:17.easier. Stay focussed, of course, but don't let your nerves get over

:16:18. > :16:21.you. I think knowing my family is watching at home, especially my

:16:22. > :16:27.little baby, Sophia, it does give you some strength to try and do it

:16:28. > :16:32.well. I always come home and she's like, "What have you done today? I

:16:33. > :16:37.try to teach her some of the dance. She's got the bug for dancing

:16:38. > :16:42.herself. I want to be a dancer like mummy. I'm used to being with my

:16:43. > :16:47.baby 24 hours a day. To send her to my mum's or my brother in law's is

:16:48. > :16:50.quite tough. I'll be thinking of Sophia on

:16:51. > :17:03.Saturday night and doing a dance for you, won't I, baby?

:17:04. > :18:52.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Lovely! That was wonderful, both of

:18:53. > :18:56.you. Abbey, if you must send me secret messages, be a bit more

:18:57. > :19:02.subtle about it. I will next time. Sorry. Oh, dear. You must be so

:19:03. > :19:07.careful. It's a good time to welcome our fabulous singers, Dave Arch and

:19:08. > :19:10.his wonderful orchestra! APPLAUSE

:19:11. > :19:22.Get the pork pie in. Now then, we start off with Bruno.

:19:23. > :19:28.What a beauty. That really had the feel of a love letter set to music.

:19:29. > :19:33.The chemistry between - That's what I said. I repeat it because it was

:19:34. > :19:39.so good. The chemistry between you two is literally tangible. Are you

:19:40. > :19:43.so in tune. You were graceful, elegant. You attempted three under

:19:44. > :19:49.arm spins, which you know, it's very hard because the spinning is not

:19:50. > :19:56.your forte. You did it my darling, that was almost picture perfect.

:19:57. > :20:00.Beautiful. It was wonderful. Now then, what did Craig think? I loved

:20:01. > :20:05.the story that continued all the way through the dance. That was

:20:06. > :20:08.absolutely beautiful. Fantastic control in those under-arm turns.

:20:09. > :20:12.You need to extend your top line a little bit more. Sometimes it's

:20:13. > :20:19.there and sometimes it just disappears for a fraction. I'm being

:20:20. > :20:25.really picky now. Yes, I am. You're letting your foot sickle on your

:20:26. > :20:32.back steps as well. But that is like minuscule. Fantastic.

:20:33. > :20:35.Now then Darcey, my darling? The boys are right, you bring a

:20:36. > :20:40.wonderful understanding to the role and I know that's not just down to

:20:41. > :20:46.Aljaz. You are really thinking about who you're playing and it really

:20:47. > :20:52.comes across. For me, you create a perfect line in your upper body. The

:20:53. > :20:57.arch is divine. Now you can indulge in your lower leg and get more

:20:58. > :21:02.stretch on the back leg. Aljaz has got you and you could extend that.

:21:03. > :21:08.Don't listen to him. Then it would be all perfectly matched. And

:21:09. > :21:19.beautiful. Really beautiful. I love that. Don't listen to him! OK Len?

:21:20. > :21:27.Don't listen to old ironside at the end here. Ironside! Don't start.

:21:28. > :21:32.What I love is that you are consistent. Whatever dance you've

:21:33. > :21:40.had so far, you've done to a very high level and this was no

:21:41. > :21:45.exception, just it was like a sea. Wave after wave of effortless

:21:46. > :21:50.movement round the floor. We've seen a samba full of bounction and verve

:21:51. > :21:55.-- bounce and verve, and the most elegant foxtrot and both equally

:21:56. > :22:03.beautiful. You're right. You've done so well. And Peter scored a goal

:22:04. > :22:10.today! This is live. Off you go. Well done.

:22:11. > :22:27.APPLAUSE You had your highest score last

:22:28. > :22:31.week, 35. Yeah. High praise from the judges tonight. I'm shocked. A lot

:22:32. > :22:39.to live up to, or does it put more pressure on you. No, I'm made up

:22:40. > :22:44.with it. How are the nerves? OK. Better tonight? I think everyone

:22:45. > :22:53.aterrified to be honest -- everyone is terrified. Are you helping her

:22:54. > :22:59.with the nerves? A little bit. Your Sophia is gorgeous. Hi baby! Mwah.

:23:00. > :23:22.The judges' scores are in: Re! -- yes! You've had two high

:23:23. > :23:31.scoring dances. Did you love the foxtrot? You have to vote. Call from

:23:32. > :23:36.your mobile or from your land line. Or you can vote online. There's so

:23:37. > :23:40.much more glitz to grace the dance floor including Deborah and Robin.

:23:41. > :23:45.After an injury in training will Patrick be dance fit? We'll find out

:23:46. > :23:50.soon. Who's next? Next up is Dave Myers and his

:23:51. > :23:55.partner, Karen. APPLAUSE

:23:56. > :24:03.I was talking to Dave about driving the other day. I said, "How often do

:24:04. > :24:07.you change gear on a motorcycle? He said, "Never, I always wear the same

:24:08. > :24:12.outfit." LAUGHTER

:24:13. > :24:19.You can't beat him. Here they are in training.

:24:20. > :24:23.When I finally got out onto the floor on Saturday night, it felt

:24:24. > :24:28.fantastic. I knew the dance was in my head. I'd say that was your

:24:29. > :24:33.personal best. Yes! I felt I was really starting to

:24:34. > :24:36.dance properly. One thing that would help is posture. Darcey said I

:24:37. > :24:42.needed to improve my posture. I think Karen has got some rather

:24:43. > :24:48.interesting plans for this week. I've got a little surprise for you.

:24:49. > :24:56.After Darcey's comments about Dave's posture last week, I managed to

:24:57. > :25:00.arrange an antigravity yoga class to stretch his upper body and release

:25:01. > :25:06.his chest and posture. Suspended, free of gravity, it was lovely.

:25:07. > :25:10.Leave me here for a day or two. Every part of me is caressed and

:25:11. > :25:17.held bit fabric of life. Then the hard work started! Next thing I

:25:18. > :25:25.knew, I was on a skiing tour, then I was a vampire. I was everything. I

:25:26. > :25:31.was like a locust, upside down and a cruciform position. My back felt

:25:32. > :25:35.brilliant. I was ten feet tall when I walked out. Do you think we've

:25:36. > :25:42.done enough to get the edge? Definitely.

:25:43. > :27:52.Dancing makes me hungry. LAUGHTER

:27:53. > :27:59.Dancing makes me hungry! I'm glad you got rid of the maracas because

:28:00. > :28:04.it was going to cramp your style. Why does it always have to be Craig

:28:05. > :28:08.first? Perhaps you should have considered or explored the

:28:09. > :28:18.possibility of re-maining on the fruit trolley throughout? BOO

:28:19. > :28:25.The Konga music came in and... The Konga step. I started to get excited

:28:26. > :28:37.and then... Craig you were laughing. I can see you're laughing. You are!

:28:38. > :28:44.Look, he is laughing. Salsa is a party Craig. You have to get down

:28:45. > :28:51.there and get with it. LAUGHTER

:28:52. > :29:03.OK Darcey, darling. Erm...... I think sadly, it's beginning,

:29:04. > :29:07.balancing on that fruit trolley, you didn't have fun with the maracas, I

:29:08. > :29:13.think you were worried about falling over. No, no. Jim Kay doesn't do

:29:14. > :29:19.that. It's like that. It's just you...

:29:20. > :29:25.LAUGHTER It was choreographed that way.

:29:26. > :29:35.Really. You were out of sync all the way through. It's never luckily a

:29:36. > :29:38.boring performance. APPLAUSE

:29:39. > :29:44.When the trolley came on, I thought Craig was going to jump on it.

:29:45. > :29:48.Len? You know, Dave, you've got a unique ability of never letting your

:29:49. > :29:53.left leg know what your right leg's going to do.

:29:54. > :30:00.LAUGHTER I I know you need separation in the

:30:01. > :30:06.legs, so that's what I'm working on. LAUGHTER

:30:07. > :30:14.The bottom line, it's not top quality dancing. But it's top

:30:15. > :30:22.quality fun and entertainment. CHEERING

:30:23. > :30:28.He is turning this into an entertainment show. Bruno? I tell

:30:29. > :30:33.you what it is, ladies and gentleman, Strictly Come Dancing

:30:34. > :30:38.presents crackers with maracas stew, a folly off the trolley. I don't

:30:39. > :30:44.think anybody up till now has managed to be off time all the way

:30:45. > :30:49.through. It's unique. It's an achievement you see. You'll be in

:30:50. > :30:56.the Guinness Book of Records. He is unique. That's what my mother said.

:30:57. > :31:00.And are you still my favourite. Off you go.

:31:01. > :31:23.Top quality fun said Len. We are all about entertainment. Dave, you give

:31:24. > :31:29.it us in bucket loads. I loved it. I've always had a bit of the

:31:30. > :31:34.lavidaloca about me. Was it fun after the more serious waltz last

:31:35. > :31:41.week, being Cuban Pete and having a laugh? I suspect my dancing was more

:31:42. > :31:45.formalised last week. I may have busted a few more shapes this week.

:31:46. > :31:50.The audience were on their feet. We know Dave is putting in serious

:31:51. > :31:54.hours training. Definitely. Is he a serious contender? Yeah, of course.

:31:55. > :31:54.Look at him! I'm seeing it. He's a contender.

:31:55. > :32:23.Scores are in: It's been worse, Tess. It has been

:32:24. > :32:31.worse. Did Dave's fast and fruity ally get you shaking your maracas?

:32:32. > :32:36.Then call: or you can vote online to keep our Latin love biker with the

:32:37. > :32:42.cheeky cheeky boom boom in the competition. Don't go ving until

:32:43. > :32:46.after our couples have danced. Who is next, Bruce?

:32:47. > :32:50.Oh, dear, oh, dear. I'll be all right in a minute. Our next couple

:32:51. > :32:55.is Deborah Meaden and her partner, Robin.

:32:56. > :33:00.APPLAUSE A very popular lady. Now Deborah is

:33:01. > :33:04.really enjoying this whole experience. So I told the dragon

:33:05. > :33:13.from Dragon's Den, there's no business like show business. Here

:33:14. > :33:17.they are in training. I struggled with the jive. There

:33:18. > :33:21.were a lot of steps. They just weren't all going in. It just wasn't

:33:22. > :33:27.your dance. The technique wasn't strong enough. I completely agree.

:33:28. > :33:30.There was very little spring in your step and the kicks were lame.

:33:31. > :33:37.There's one thing I'm focussing on this week, making sure I am

:33:38. > :33:44.technically better. This week I'm dancing the veen yeets

:33:45. > :33:50.waltz to -- Viennese waltz to This is a Man's World. If you can show me

:33:51. > :33:53.in the boardroom on your game plan, I think the return on your

:33:54. > :33:58.investment will be phenomenal. Why make it up here, let's go back into

:33:59. > :34:00.the boardroom. There couldn'ter more inspiration than getting back here

:34:01. > :34:05.and remembering how it feels and getting some power back. Tell me,

:34:06. > :34:10.what would your business plan be for our Viennese waltz. This is me last

:34:11. > :34:16.week. What are we aiming for next week? 8s and 9s. How will we get

:34:17. > :34:21.there? Had Music, we need choreography, we need technique. If

:34:22. > :34:25.we can pull it off, we can close the deal. We're now reaching the

:34:26. > :34:29.business end of the competition. I just hope that on Saturday night, I

:34:30. > :34:37.can go out there and sell it to the audience, to the judges.

:34:38. > :36:36.Look at this! How lovely for you. How very lovely for you. You don't

:36:37. > :36:43.get that in Dragon's Den. But that was really lovely. Darcey? It was an

:36:44. > :36:48.interesting twist to a Viennese waltz, but I liked it. I really

:36:49. > :36:52.enjoyed the power game you had going. Of course, as soon as you got

:36:53. > :36:57.into hold, you had that controlled elegance. The turns are very hard,

:36:58. > :37:01.but you handled it well. I would just say, think of wearing a

:37:02. > :37:04.jewelled necklace, just to keep hold of that top line, because that's the

:37:05. > :37:08.only thing that lets you down now and then. If you imagine that,

:37:09. > :37:16.you'll lift out of your waist. But the confidence is all back. Well

:37:17. > :37:21.done. Len? You know, the Viennese waltz is

:37:22. > :37:27.a romantic sort of a dance. When you were in hold, I did see a touch of

:37:28. > :37:32.romance, a touch of Mills Boob. The beginning was more like meals on

:37:33. > :37:37.wheels. I never thought you were ever going to stop pushing the

:37:38. > :37:49.trolley around. It's an improvement on last week, so well done.

:37:50. > :37:54.Indeed. Bruno? Yes, Deborah, romance went

:37:55. > :37:59.out of the window. It was a bitter divorce, give me the table, I'll

:38:00. > :38:04.have it! Get off the table and get moving. Because actually, once up

:38:05. > :38:08.started moving, it was better. You were more at ease. The footwork was

:38:09. > :38:17.good. They are right, have you to work on your posture, but much more

:38:18. > :38:21.confident and flowy. An improvement. Craig? I suppose the table did prove

:38:22. > :38:25.that you can actually push a table and waltz in time. There is a gift

:38:26. > :38:32.there if you're into that. I agree the top line was an absolute

:38:33. > :38:36.disaster tonight. Your left arm was really lagging. I really like the

:38:37. > :38:40.fact that you did a Spanish paso centrepiece to that, which was very,

:38:41. > :38:43.very nice. I thought that was intuitive.

:38:44. > :38:46.I'll settle for that. I'll take that.

:38:47. > :38:51.The people loved it. Off you go. Robin, well done the pair of you.

:38:52. > :39:04.APPLAUSE You said you wanted to sell it and

:39:05. > :39:06.you sold it. I meant it. Yes! I was having that table, if it was the

:39:07. > :39:11.last thing that happened. We believed you. The judges said huge

:39:12. > :39:16.improvement on last week. A standing ovation. A standing ovation from the

:39:17. > :39:21.audience is amazing. Five weeks in now, you're training hard. You look

:39:22. > :39:26.a lot fitter. Do you feel fitter? Ten hours a day dancing makes you a

:39:27. > :39:29.lot fitter from nothing to ten hours a day, yeah. That is a lot of

:39:30. > :39:53.dancing. I'm impressed. Scores are in:

:39:54. > :39:59.Great score. You're starting to feel as at home in the ballroom as the

:40:00. > :40:04.boardroom. If you think this competition will be nothing without

:40:05. > :40:07.Deborah and Robin call to vote: Or head to the website. Lots more in

:40:08. > :40:10.store tonight with Susanna and Kevin. They're hoping for some

:40:11. > :40:17.sunshine. Aren't we all? And Rachel is becoming a man eater.

:40:18. > :40:24.Grrr. Back to the dance floor. We're ready, our fifth couple is

:40:25. > :40:29.Patrick and his partner Anya. APPLAUSE

:40:30. > :40:35.Very popular people. Patrick used to be a member of the Royal Shakespeare

:40:36. > :40:39.Company. I told him I once starred in that comedy Hamlet. He said,

:40:40. > :40:45."Hamlet isn't a comedy, it's a tragedy." I said not when I did it!

:40:46. > :40:52.I wore these pink tights... LAUGHTER

:40:53. > :40:57.I got screams and yells, then I got fired. Any way, here they are in

:40:58. > :41:03.training. I know, for me, there wasn't a wrong

:41:04. > :41:08.step anywhere. I was chuffed to get through that one on the night, when

:41:09. > :41:12.it really mattered. At the end of the dance, I stood there out of

:41:13. > :41:21.breath and the first comment was Craig's. Absolutely brilliant. For

:41:22. > :41:25.me, it's absolutely brilliant, so thank you very much. This week we

:41:26. > :41:29.are dancing the salsa. Salsa is super energetic. It should look like

:41:30. > :41:37.fun. Actually, it is a lot of fun. It is. Jo what do you do for fun?

:41:38. > :41:44.Rollerskate. Salsa skating fun. Here we go. Let's bring this sense of fun

:41:45. > :41:49.on Saturday night. If I make it to Saturday night! I just heard from

:41:50. > :41:53.Patrick he hurt his wrist last night. I knew when I went into work

:41:54. > :41:58.I would see the medical advisor and he said, you need an extra. I have

:41:59. > :42:03.come for emotional support. I've had a look at your scans, the bone we

:42:04. > :42:08.were worried about has not fractured, so as far as using the

:42:09. > :42:12.wrist is concerned, it's a case of using it as pain allows. The injury

:42:13. > :42:16.on my hand has had a big impact on the dance. The routine has been

:42:17. > :42:23.changed drastically. I will be there Saturday night trying to do it.

:42:24. > :44:20.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Lovely, really lovely. You did very

:44:21. > :44:24.well with that, spran is it? When you did the lift I was really

:44:25. > :44:31.worried for you. Well done. A great routine. Len? You should feel right

:44:32. > :44:35.at home, what with your wrist and casualty, let me tell you, you did a

:44:36. > :44:39.wonderful job in changing that all around and giving Patrick a routine

:44:40. > :44:47.that he could really just do with one hand. I thought Patrick, you did

:44:48. > :44:50.great as well. Very difficult. The hold was brilliant. You did a really

:44:51. > :44:53.good job under terrible circumstances.

:44:54. > :44:58.Well done. Well said, Len.

:44:59. > :45:05.Bruno? You gave me a terrible fright. I thought you got ereck

:45:06. > :45:11.tricuted for a -- ereck tricuted for a -- electricuted! For some moments,

:45:12. > :45:17.you were doing it and you were happy, then you got stiff. It was on

:45:18. > :45:23.and off and on and off. Oh, my God, he's giving me palpitation. It felt

:45:24. > :45:26.slightly unfunished. I understand the circumstances, they were not in

:45:27. > :45:31.your favour. You can sell it, I'm sure if you come back, you will show

:45:32. > :45:35.yourself at your maximum advantage. It was slightly loose and unfinished

:45:36. > :45:40.tonight. But very difficult circumstances. Craig? I have to

:45:41. > :45:43.agree, it was very stoppy, very starty. That sort of ruined it.

:45:44. > :45:49.There should be a flow to it. You still could have got that with one

:45:50. > :45:53.arm actually. Stop making him laugh. The isolation in the last shimmy,

:45:54. > :46:00.you need to isolate the shoulder rather than putting the whole thing

:46:01. > :46:07.together. You do naturally have fantasticically -- fantastically

:46:08. > :46:11.good hips, great rhythm. To do the whole dance with that kind of thing

:46:12. > :46:16.is very difficult. For me, I think you directed Anya brilliantly. I

:46:17. > :46:20.love to see a man in control of the dance and for me, you gave me that.

:46:21. > :46:24.Just be conscious of mirroring Anya and finishing off the arms. That

:46:25. > :46:28.would be the only thing. Exactly very impressive from all the changes

:46:29. > :46:31.you've gone through, that was a very impressive show.

:46:32. > :46:51.Be impressed! Off you go. come on up here. You can see in your

:46:52. > :46:56.face, when you're dancing that you love the Latin. Oh, yeah. Your hips

:46:57. > :47:00.love it too. That injury meant that you had to change your entire

:47:01. > :47:04.routine as of yesterday. It must have been nervewracking. Yeah, yeah.

:47:05. > :47:09.You know, Anya is brilliant basically. That was very clever.

:47:10. > :47:14.One-arm choreography. That lift was so impressive. How did Patrick cope?

:47:15. > :47:16.Amazing. Thank you so much for working so hard and switching. The

:47:17. > :47:44.scores reflect that, they're in: Not your best score, but not

:47:45. > :47:49.surprising really. Call to vote: or you can online if you want to see

:47:50. > :47:52.Patrick and Anya fly through to next week. Your votes make the difference

:47:53. > :47:58.between who stays and who goes. No-one wants to leave.

:47:59. > :48:03.Do you? No. Patrick has danced through the pain so whos next to --

:48:04. > :48:05.who's next? Our next couple is Fiona Fullerton and her partner, Anton Du

:48:06. > :48:16.Beke. Snment They are going to do the quickstep.

:48:17. > :48:23.I said to Anton, "I'm so pleased for you." He said, "Because I'm doing

:48:24. > :48:28.the quickstep? I said "No, it's week five and you're still here." Can't

:48:29. > :48:35.believe it! Here they are in training.

:48:36. > :48:39.When I get out there, I'm really excited. I really, really, really

:48:40. > :48:45.want to do well. Then something happens. It is immensely

:48:46. > :48:49.frustrating. There are a few serious issues. It's almost as if there's a

:48:50. > :48:56.voice in my head saying, "You can't do this." I have to concentrate.

:48:57. > :49:01.This week, we are dancing the quickstep. Step hop, step hop. It's

:49:02. > :49:06.fine. She's nervous. I can understand it completely. I'm trying

:49:07. > :49:09.to complicate it. Yeah. I suggest it's already difficult enough. I

:49:10. > :49:15.don't think it's nerves any more. I can't keep saying that. I want it to

:49:16. > :49:21.be perfect. And if it's not, my brain goes bleurgh. I need you to be

:49:22. > :49:26.strong with yourself. Even if I go wrong? If you go wrong, I don't want

:49:27. > :49:30.to know about it, the audience don't want to know about it. You can show

:49:31. > :49:35.them how good you are. You can do that. Positive mental attitude. What

:49:36. > :49:40.did I get wrong? Nothing. It was perfect. Suddenly the penny drops. I

:49:41. > :49:44.am feeling so much happier. It's coming. Lovely. Last week's show was

:49:45. > :49:49.a real wake-up call. Now it top it all off, I've had a message from a

:49:50. > :49:52.really special friend. Hi Fiona, you're doing so well. I wish you all

:49:53. > :49:58.the luck in the world for Saturday night.

:49:59. > :51:36.MUSIC: If My Friends Could See Me Now

:51:37. > :51:52.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Oh, Fiona! Fiona, look at this.

:51:53. > :51:56.Oh, Fiona. You have made us all happy. Anton as well. That was so

:51:57. > :52:02.beautiful. Thank you. You must have worked very

:52:03. > :52:06.hard. She did. You're right. Bruno, what did you think? Oh, yes, Fiona

:52:07. > :52:11.finally putting on the glitz. High spirits in high society. Such flare.

:52:12. > :52:14.You played it so well. You moved better. And there were a couple of

:52:15. > :52:21.mistakes in the foot work, but you covered it. So we didn't notice. You

:52:22. > :52:27.played it beautifully. That's the way to go. Great. Absolutely. What

:52:28. > :52:31.did you think Craig? I certainly noticed the upstage corner section

:52:32. > :52:38.in the charleston. That seems to go it completely awry darling. I

:52:39. > :52:44.thought you might. It didn't look like it was meant to bement but you

:52:45. > :52:50.flew around that floorened you -- floor and you were definitely back

:52:51. > :52:56.in the room. We are so happy for you. OK, there

:52:57. > :53:00.we are Darcey. Finally fabulous Fiona, thank you. You were light on

:53:01. > :53:10.your feet. You're beautifully confident. Keep that focus. Your

:53:11. > :53:15.best chance. And Len? More confident, plus more focus, plus

:53:16. > :53:26.more content equals more points. Well done. Well done. Off you go.

:53:27. > :53:45.Sow much -- so much goodwill for you in the room. You've done it. Have

:53:46. > :53:50.you overcome your nerves? I think so. I turned a corner this week.

:53:51. > :53:55.Hopefully. It felt good. It felt lovely. A great routine. You were

:53:56. > :54:00.amazing. Well done. Fiona had a lot to prove tonight. Did she do you

:54:01. > :54:03.proud She did me proud. But she done herself proud. Last week a little

:54:04. > :54:07.disappointed. This week, thrilled. Well done you. You've done a great

:54:08. > :54:11.job. Well done. Positive mental attitude goes a long

:54:12. > :54:35.way. Darcey said your best dance yet. Let's see if your best score:

:54:36. > :54:49.They're very happy. I haven't had an eight since 1972! If you thought

:54:50. > :55:00.that was the quintessential quickstep call: Or go online and

:55:01. > :55:04.vote. Voting opens later. We're all a bit

:55:05. > :55:15.giddy. We're at the halfway point. There's still all this to feast your

:55:16. > :55:23.eyes on: Out, in, out, in. I'm just hopping-tastic. Up the apples and

:55:24. > :55:27.pears. Way too fast, by the way. You should make this slower. One, two...

:55:28. > :55:50., oh, dear. Nah, nah. OK. Our next couple is Rachel Riley

:55:51. > :55:56.and her partner Pasha. APPLAUSE

:55:57. > :56:01.Now after being in the dance-off last week, Rachel has been praying

:56:02. > :56:07.she isn't in the dance-off again this week. I said, "I'm sorry, but

:56:08. > :56:16.if I've said it once, I've said it a million times - you don't get

:56:17. > :56:29.anything for a prayer." Not in here! Much better than rehearsal. It's

:56:30. > :56:36.live, you see. This is live. APPLAUSE

:56:37. > :56:40.Here they are in training. The quickstep all week had been a really

:56:41. > :56:44.hard dance. I wasn't very happy with my performance. Once I missed one

:56:45. > :56:49.step, it was hard to catch up. You need is control. I blew it really.

:56:50. > :56:53.You have to get focussed. I have to do it all again. Let's not do that,

:56:54. > :56:57.because that means you're going to be in the bottom two.

:56:58. > :57:05.The first couple, Rachel and Pasha. It's terrifying. Who would you like

:57:06. > :57:08.to save? Rachel. Rachel. Rachel. I'm going to come back fighting.

:57:09. > :57:12.After being in the bottom two, doing the paso doble is a risk. It's so

:57:13. > :57:16.strong. You have to be totally in character. I need to act and I have

:57:17. > :57:20.no acting experience at all. Pasha brought in an acting coach to help

:57:21. > :57:24.me get the character of the paso doble. You want the anger, the

:57:25. > :57:29.connection between the fierce legs and the movement and face. I had to

:57:30. > :57:32.get into paso doble mode. Try to focus and keep that face as fierce

:57:33. > :57:39.as possible. . They were going to distract me out of it. Quickly I

:57:40. > :57:45.lost my concentration. You have to train to keep the focus. Then I got

:57:46. > :57:49.into the zone. You need to match the dance with your emotions and focus

:57:50. > :57:52.your anger through the muscles in your face and everything you do. I

:57:53. > :57:56.think it did help. I'm putting everything into this dance. I hope

:57:57. > :58:01.I've done enough to not be in the bottom two this week.

:58:02. > :00:02.Well done, both of you. It's over. Lovely. I felt the story. I think

:00:03. > :00:08.I'm full now. Why didn't you get him a ladder and a little bell? Next

:00:09. > :00:12.week. Craig? There was so much tension in

:00:13. > :00:17.that. I felt like it was a whole heap of trees being felled really.

:00:18. > :00:23.It was too stiff and too solid. The drama that you set up the top I

:00:24. > :00:27.didn't find compelling enough because you don't dance it well

:00:28. > :00:32.enough, alone. It would have been safer to get into hold. The kicks

:00:33. > :00:36.need finishing off. You need to arch your back, broader arms and shapes.

:00:37. > :00:44.There were balance issues. Littered with a bit of disaster, I'm afraid.

:00:45. > :00:53.BOO Oh, Darcey darling. I can see you've

:00:54. > :00:57.worked so hard. Yes, you have. It's so much tougher for the girl. It's

:00:58. > :01:03.easy for the boy to be a matta tore. It's -- matador. It's hard for the

:01:04. > :01:10.girl. You are a lovely person. It's difficult for you to be hard. I know

:01:11. > :01:14.you have to be crisper and sharper. If you could focus with your eyes,

:01:15. > :01:17.and change direction with your spot and everything will come together, I

:01:18. > :01:25.think. I know it's the core, but maybe the eyes.

:01:26. > :01:30.Good advice. Thank you. Len? I feel bad because I know that you've

:01:31. > :01:34.really worked hard and you're coming out and you really want to try your

:01:35. > :01:39.best and do your best and you're just hoping it all goes great. Well,

:01:40. > :01:44.unfortunately, this wasn't a dance that suits your personality. You're

:01:45. > :01:49.smiley Riley. You had to come out with a lot of aggression and a lot

:01:50. > :01:56.of clean lines and clean footwork. It just didn't quite work. That's a

:01:57. > :02:01.great pity. Bruno? Bless you my darling. It's hard being a maneater.

:02:02. > :02:08.It's hard, aggression. It's difficult. It's hard. I can do it.

:02:09. > :02:12.Listen, my darling... Don't go there. You had all the content

:02:13. > :02:17.there, but it was a vegetarian option. You have to put and the

:02:18. > :02:21.blood and guts and let the character take over. Len is right you're a

:02:22. > :02:27.nice girl. Forget about nice, come here and fight, fight for your place

:02:28. > :02:31.on Strictly. Go for it. Don't feel bad about it. Go on.

:02:32. > :02:40.You're wonderful. We loved you. Go on. Away you go.

:02:41. > :02:54.APPLAUSE Smiley Riley, you have been

:02:55. > :03:00.channelling mean and moody. I've been trying mean and moody. She was

:03:01. > :03:04.so in character all day. You were in character. It wasn't enough for the

:03:05. > :03:09.judges. Is it enough to keep you out of the dance-off this week? I really

:03:10. > :03:17.hope so. I have worked so hard. I was scowling all day. She has worked

:03:18. > :03:21.incredibly hard. Trained 30 hours this week. Is she improving? Every

:03:22. > :03:25.week we're going for something more difficult for the -- than the week

:03:26. > :03:30.before. She delivers. I was there with her and she almost ate me

:03:31. > :03:52.alive. She was fierce. The scores are in:

:03:53. > :04:04.That's what the judges thought. But what do you think? Did Rachel pass

:04:05. > :04:07.the test? If so call to vote: Or go online to save her from the

:04:08. > :04:09.dance-off. Get dialling and clicking as soon as the vote opens. Who's

:04:10. > :04:17.next? Oh, yes, it's Mark Benton and his

:04:18. > :04:20.partner, Iveta. APPLAUSE

:04:21. > :04:24.He's been marvellous. Last week, Mark started off his dance by

:04:25. > :04:28.strutting around with a massive boom box on his shoulder, you remember?

:04:29. > :04:33.He asked me if I've ever done it. I said, "I did it once walking down

:04:34. > :04:38.the street with a boom box on my shoulder, but I felt such a fool

:04:39. > :04:42.listening to the Archers. " LAUGHTER

:04:43. > :04:49.Shut up. Here they are in training.

:04:50. > :04:53.The cha cha last Saturday was my favourite dance so far. When the

:04:54. > :04:56.dance finished we got such an amazing reaction. We felt really

:04:57. > :05:01.happy and then Craig's comments burst that bubble. It was all very

:05:02. > :05:05.floot foot and stompy. It makes you sad when had you work so hard on

:05:06. > :05:09.something. This week, I'm trying my best to put a smile on Craig's face.

:05:10. > :05:13.Hopefully when the paddle comes out it won't say 3. I'm going to have to

:05:14. > :05:19.work on the grace and elegance of the waltz. I could probably do with

:05:20. > :05:30.a bit of help. Look what I have for you I am Colonelingly invited --

:05:31. > :05:34.codially invited... She made me say, how now brown cow. Try to roll it

:05:35. > :05:40.off your tongue. That was going to help me with my facial expressions.

:05:41. > :05:47.I have heard of a problem with stompy feet. I do. I'm so sorery. --

:05:48. > :05:52.sorry. Keep your head up, keep your shoulders back, walk from your hips,

:05:53. > :05:56.swing your arms, belly in. I have a problem with my balance. One good

:05:57. > :06:05.exercise is walking with a book on your head. Very good. Thank you so

:06:06. > :06:08.much. Congratulations. Thank you, hopefully come Saturday night, what

:06:09. > :06:14.I've learned today will help me with the waltz.

:06:15. > :08:08.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Very good. They loved it. Iveta, how

:08:09. > :08:13.could you leave him like that? Too late. Any way, it was lovely. A

:08:14. > :08:17.lovely mood to it. Darcey start us off. You transported me. One week

:08:18. > :08:23.you're the Latin man and now you're this real elegant gentleman. Your

:08:24. > :08:28.top line is so much better. The rise and fall could just have been a bit

:08:29. > :08:35.better on the balance. But overall, how you hold Iveta, your tenderness,

:08:36. > :08:42.care, I liked it. You do act the part so well. Your

:08:43. > :08:46.dancing has a naturalness about it. It's not forced. It's easy on the

:08:47. > :08:49.eye. Unfortunately your left arm went a bit forward, which spoiled

:08:50. > :08:53.your frame a little bit. You lifted your shoulders a bit, which

:08:54. > :08:58.unfortunately, you lost your posture a bit. But what I love, you just

:08:59. > :09:02.come out with this lovely, naturalness about you, which I think

:09:03. > :09:11.is terrific. So right, Len. So true. OK, now then

:09:12. > :09:14.Bruno? Everything is so effective because it's so deeply felt. It's

:09:15. > :09:18.extremely well played. I believe everything you do is like a top

:09:19. > :09:22.politician. You put your spin and we believe it. It's a good quality. Len

:09:23. > :09:27.is right tonight was a question of posture and top line, which is tough

:09:28. > :09:30.in the waltz. It's so evident in such simple dance, but great

:09:31. > :09:37.performance. There we are. OK then, Craig? I've

:09:38. > :09:41.got to say it's so much better than that ghastly dance you did last

:09:42. > :09:46.week! Much, much nicer on the eye to watch. I thought you danced it

:09:47. > :09:51.simply, effectively and with feeling and emotion. It was beautiful. Get

:09:52. > :09:56.off quick, before they change their minds! Off you go.

:09:57. > :10:16.wow. Such an emotive waltz. I had a tear in my eye. I thought you were

:10:17. > :10:19.getting teary then. Oh, yeah. You've done some real crowd pleasing

:10:20. > :10:22.routines. Is it more of a challenge getting serious? It is. But we loved

:10:23. > :10:26.it. I wanted to do something different and not just be funny

:10:27. > :10:30.every week. You wanted to prove Craig wrong this week. I did and he

:10:31. > :10:35.was lovely. He was! I think you were hoping for more than a three this

:10:36. > :10:37.week. Oh, please! Shall we see if it is more than three? The scores are

:10:38. > :11:03.in: 28! Way more than a three from Craig

:11:04. > :11:08.and your highest score to date. Brilliant! It is brilliant. If you

:11:09. > :11:16.love Mark and Iveta's waltz, no need to apologise, just vote:

:11:17. > :11:22.or vote online. As well as the action on the floor, there's loads

:11:23. > :11:30.going on behind-the-scenes. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. #who's

:11:31. > :11:36.next #... No it isn't. Our next couple is

:11:37. > :11:39.Ashley and Ola. APPLAUSE

:11:40. > :11:48.They're doing so well. Now, because Ashley's on the show Hollyoaks. I

:11:49. > :11:55.must say I found it so depressing. It was so mys rib. I had --

:11:56. > :12:00.miserable. I had to watch EastEnders to cheer myself up. I did really!

:12:01. > :12:08.APPLAUSE Here they are in training.

:12:09. > :12:13.Before last week's show I was excited about the Viennese waltz. On

:12:14. > :12:20.the night the nerves got to me. I stiffened up. It needed a bit more

:12:21. > :12:25.gusto to it. A bit more government you! You need more oomph. It was

:12:26. > :12:30.fair. A fair score. It's left me wanting more. I felt deflated. I let

:12:31. > :12:34.myself down again. Maybe next week I'll sort that out. Who knows. This

:12:35. > :12:40.week, I've got the jive. There's nowhere to hide in the jive. Step,

:12:41. > :12:44.step. Help me! We really have to go for it this week. Because Ashley is

:12:45. > :12:52.so busy, I have to squeeze in 30 hours worth of work into ten hours.

:12:53. > :12:59.I got up at about 5. 30am. Morning! We did Lorraine. My next guest

:13:00. > :13:05.Ashley Taylor Dawson... I did phone interviews for a couple of hours.

:13:06. > :13:14.Then we went off to do a photo shoot. I went to It Takes Two. You

:13:15. > :13:23.look gorgeous. Five minutes to practice. Then raining. Last

:13:24. > :13:24.Saturday the judges told me to give it some oomph. If I make it through

:13:25. > :15:20.the week I will give it to them. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:15:21. > :15:28.I should think so. Well done. That's it Ashley. Ola, a great

:15:29. > :15:35.routine. Plenty of oomph, maybe too much. Len, what did you think? It

:15:36. > :15:38.had speed, energy, plenty of Gotye! -- gotta! You lost your technique

:15:39. > :15:48.here and there. But a terrific effort. Well done. Oh, yes, all

:15:49. > :15:52.rock-and-roll. Was it Elvis or shaking Stephens? I'm not sure. But

:15:53. > :15:55.the feel is right. Len is right, you had the foot on the accelerator all

:15:56. > :16:03.the way through. Be careful, kicks and flicks have to be much sharper

:16:04. > :16:10.and cleaner. Right. Craig? I'm glad no-one saw you recovering from your

:16:11. > :16:14.knee slide, that was a bit ungainly. That's got that on camera somewhere

:16:15. > :16:19.else for It Takes Two. Have you to be aware that you have feet at the

:16:20. > :16:26.end of those feet. They need pointing. But I loved it. I did love

:16:27. > :16:32.it. What a tempo. Darcey? That wasn't safe, that wasn't placed. It

:16:33. > :16:37.was brilliant! I love the energy. You had spring. All the way through

:16:38. > :16:44.you kept it up. That's what we need. But the feet needed to point. I

:16:45. > :16:52.can't point in these shoes. Good excuse. Not my choice. Not your

:16:53. > :17:00.choice, OK, fine. You won't get the blame. Wonderful choreography.

:17:01. > :17:06.They're a bit turned up on the end. It's just the shoes, not me. I dance

:17:07. > :17:09.it well really. Lovely!

:17:10. > :17:19.APPLAUSE Wow! That was a crowd pleasing jive.

:17:20. > :17:23.Even Craig loved it. He's a bit of a perfectionist. Just like you. Did it

:17:24. > :17:28.feel good? I enjoyed that. For the first time, I enjoyed dancing. How

:17:29. > :17:36.did you learn a routine in just ten hours? I don't know. A great

:17:37. > :17:39.teacher. I'm loving the weave. Fabulous. It's my new friend.

:17:40. > :18:06.The scores are in. Loads of oomph. Did you think the

:18:07. > :18:11.jive be good? Then call to vote. Or go online to send them straight

:18:12. > :18:16.through to next week. Still to come: Big Ben has to prove he can be light

:18:17. > :18:20.in his loafers in the quickstep and can queen of cool Sophie get cheeky

:18:21. > :18:25.in the cha cha? Right, now for our next couple,

:18:26. > :18:32.Susanna and her partner Kevin from Grimsby.

:18:33. > :18:38.APPLAUSE Any way, after Susanna's raunchy

:18:39. > :18:42.samba last week, we had a lot of letters from viewers complaining. In

:18:43. > :18:49.answer to all those letters, I'm sorry, but no - she can't do it

:18:50. > :18:55.again! I explained myself. Here they are in training.

:18:56. > :19:01.Last week, Kevin and I just wanted to deliver something really big and

:19:02. > :19:07.a bit crazy. I thought it was a bit muddy actually. It was a bit muddy

:19:08. > :19:11.at the edges. I know what they mean. I quite like the idea of having done

:19:12. > :19:17.a muddy samba on Strictly. We can clean up next week. Work. Sorry.

:19:18. > :19:22.This week it's the American smooth. Keep going, keep going. Week by

:19:23. > :19:26.week, I am loving dancing even more. Of course, that's down to Kevin. He

:19:27. > :19:29.has grown up in a ballroom. His parents are former national

:19:30. > :19:32.champions. I wanted to see where his love of dancing began. He took me to

:19:33. > :19:37.Grimsby. I'm going to take you to a dance

:19:38. > :19:42.studio that my mum and dad run where I started training. Let's go.

:19:43. > :19:50.Five, six, seven, eight. Hello! Aren't you gorgeous. We

:19:51. > :19:54.danced with some of the kids. It's like dancing with Kevin. Only so

:19:55. > :20:00.much prettier. I even got the chance to dance with Kevin's dad. I feel as

:20:01. > :20:06.though I'm young again. Maybe I'm dancing with the wrong Mr Clifton.

:20:07. > :20:12.Group hug. Going to Grimsby has really boosted that friendship an I

:20:13. > :20:14.-- and I hope it adds extra magic to our performance on Saturday night.

:20:15. > :22:11.Keep dancing! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:22:12. > :22:22.A beautiful song, beautifully danced. Bruno? It's always sunny in

:22:23. > :22:26.Susanna land. It's so happy. You really exude happiness. It's joyful

:22:27. > :22:31.watching you. You bring so much positive energy to what you do. It's

:22:32. > :22:35.fantastic to watch. Nice in hold. Nice side by side. Stretch your leg

:22:36. > :22:43.at the back and your foot and your extensions, good lifts, great

:22:44. > :22:52.performance. Lovely. Craig? One word - gorgeous!

:22:53. > :23:02.Great to have you back Craig. Darcey? The focus you give to each

:23:03. > :23:07.dance is bang on. There is a film star in you. It's beautiful to

:23:08. > :23:10.watch. Just watch the preparations into the lifts. That's the only

:23:11. > :23:16.thing. Have confidence in your man. He has got you. Do not worry. That

:23:17. > :23:22.would be the only thing, but lovely. Now then, Len? Last week, it was all

:23:23. > :23:28.bounce, bum and Bonning yeses, this week it's smooth -- bongos, this

:23:29. > :23:30.week it's smooth, suave and sophisticated. It was lovely. Off

:23:31. > :23:47.you go and be proud! APPLAUSE

:23:48. > :23:53.Cleaned up with the judges. Craig said it was "gorgeous" It's fabulous

:23:54. > :23:57.to have Craig back and in such a great mood. The medication. Your

:23:58. > :24:02.first lifts of the series, did you feel safe? I was totally confident

:24:03. > :24:05.actually. There wasn't a moment - yeah look at them. He's not going to

:24:06. > :24:10.drop this sack of potatoes with a pair like that. Kevin we are five

:24:11. > :24:18.weeks in now, to the competition, it's getting a bit more serious, do

:24:19. > :24:20.you think Susanna can go the distance? You've got my vote. The

:24:21. > :24:47.scores are in. Well done. If you thought Susanna

:24:48. > :24:55.and Kevin were streets ahead, if so, call to vote. Or of course, you can

:24:56. > :24:58.go online. Voting opens when everyone's danced. You don't have

:24:59. > :25:04.long to wait. Right, our next couple...

:25:05. > :25:09.LAUGHTER Is - I was complaining about all the

:25:10. > :25:17.stairs I have to go up and down. Any way, the next couple is Ben Cohen

:25:18. > :25:20.and his partner Kristina. APPLAUSE

:25:21. > :25:26.Well, yes, it's Big Ben time, ladies.

:25:27. > :25:32.Last week, Ben ran over and gave Darcey a hug. The week before he ran

:25:33. > :25:40.over and gave Craig a hug. I just hope tonight he doesn't run over and

:25:41. > :25:51.hug Bruno. We'll never get him back. No you won't! I know. I know you!

:25:52. > :25:57.Here they are in training. Last weekend's dance was really a

:25:58. > :26:02.good chance to let go a bit. I enjoyed throwing Kristina around. I

:26:03. > :26:06.felt at home doing that. Dirty, oiled mechanic, it's ticking every

:26:07. > :26:10.box. Yeah, it was lovely to get nice comments from Craig, of course.

:26:11. > :26:16.Because he's not shy in giving bad ones. To get 31 was - I'm going to

:26:17. > :26:23.play the lottery this week, put it that way. I've turned a corner now.

:26:24. > :26:27.People think you're a serious contender now. I don't know about a

:26:28. > :26:34.serious contender. You have to believe in yourself. Since I've

:26:35. > :26:38.retired, I haven't really had that competitive edge like that. There is

:26:39. > :26:44.a member of my family who is still quite competitive, my uncle George,

:26:45. > :26:50.who won the '66 World Cup final. He's going to give me a pep talk. My

:26:51. > :26:54.competition now is with myself. What advice do you have for me for the

:26:55. > :26:57.rest of the competition. We've both won a World Cup. This is going to be

:26:58. > :27:01.another medal, if you win. Can you imagine what it's going to be like

:27:02. > :27:05.in the family, if you don't. Don't come home without a trophy. Don't

:27:06. > :27:09.come home without the trophy. It was great to have a pep talk from uncle

:27:10. > :27:18.George. I remember his words and see how they inspire me in the future.

:27:19. > :29:11.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Wonderful. Big Ben, oh, something on

:29:12. > :29:15.your shoe. Who would have thought two months ago that you would be

:29:16. > :29:19.here tonight doing a quickstep? I tell you, it's incredible. Craig? I

:29:20. > :29:23.felt you were a little bit out of your comfort zone at the beginning

:29:24. > :29:27.with all the snaps, it was a bit too Joey, not quite right there. I

:29:28. > :29:31.didn't feel throughout the dance that you were actually leading. I

:29:32. > :29:39.think that's my major problem with the whole thing. I loved your face.

:29:40. > :29:45.Your face was an absolute picture. He is having fun. OK Darcey?

:29:46. > :29:48.Actually, I disagree. I wasn't expecting you to be so light on your

:29:49. > :29:52.feet. You made it look like a walk in the park. You didn't even get

:29:53. > :29:58.tired. So I need you to now up the difficulty. Next week, make it

:29:59. > :30:06.harder. Because I think he can be pushed. Darcey is being firm. OK,

:30:07. > :30:10.Len? I agree, and I tell you the way to make it a little bit harder, and

:30:11. > :30:15.this is not just a criticism of you, but throughout the evening, there's

:30:16. > :30:19.been a lot of couples messing about. And I do understand that you've got

:30:20. > :30:23.to fill up the time as a professional and how better than

:30:24. > :30:27.sitting on a settee throwing pop corn at each other or whatever else.

:30:28. > :30:31.We moving a table about. I understand all that. But we're

:30:32. > :30:37.getting into the nitty gritty now. Next week is week six. I want to see

:30:38. > :30:41.really fuller routines from everyone, if I'm honest. What you

:30:42. > :30:47.did, you did well. It's a tough dance for guys. Marvellous. Who

:30:48. > :30:51.would have thought you would be able to do the quickstep. I'm with Len on

:30:52. > :30:55.this one. If it carried on any longer, I would have joined in and

:30:56. > :30:59.maybe bring ape pizza. We'll all join in together and have a great

:31:00. > :31:05.time. You have been teasing us for weeks with your abilities. We know

:31:06. > :31:08.you can do it. Now we want the full Monty, my darling. Break out of the

:31:09. > :31:13.pack, show us what you can do. Because we know you can. It's just

:31:14. > :31:18.not enough to give it oh, a little bit of this, it's all right, that's

:31:19. > :31:27.all right. We want the full whack. Come on.

:31:28. > :31:33.Don't tease Bruno. Well done. Off you go then! Well done.

:31:34. > :31:42.APPLAUSE Big Ben moving across the floor,

:31:43. > :31:47.we're five weeks in, you started as a novice, are you enjoying your

:31:48. > :31:52.Strictly life? I am now. It's getting easier. My nerves and yeah

:31:53. > :31:58.I'm enjoying it. How do you move that much muscle across the floor?

:31:59. > :32:17.He was moving himself. The scores are in:

:32:18. > :32:21.OK, if you want Ben and Kristina to always be there for you, the number

:32:22. > :32:32.to call is: or get online to vote for your

:32:33. > :32:35.dancing friends. It's been another night to remember in the ballroom.

:32:36. > :32:40.There's still one more couple left to dance.

:32:41. > :32:46.The pleasure is ours, our final couple tonight is Sophie and her

:32:47. > :32:50.partner Brendan. APPLAUSE

:32:51. > :32:56.Yes, a good couple. Ones to watch. I was chatting to Sophie about my

:32:57. > :33:03.singing career. And I said, "It's always been my ambition to get a

:33:04. > :33:09.platinum disc." She said, "Well, Craig's got a titanium hip. Go for

:33:10. > :33:13.it." Yes, couldn't get to the end of the joke. You're so good tonight.

:33:14. > :33:21.This is live! Here they are. -- here they are in training.

:33:22. > :33:26.Before I danced, I was petrified. But as soon as the music started,

:33:27. > :33:33.something kicked in. I loved the routine. I loved the dancing. What

:33:34. > :33:37.more do you want? Fabulous. If Len liked it, that's a good sign. Even

:33:38. > :33:42.now it makes my cheeks go pink. You really look like a Hollywood star

:33:43. > :33:45.from the golden era. When you've had something go really well, I feel

:33:46. > :33:54.it's inevitable that the next one isn't so good. Here we go, cha cha

:33:55. > :34:00.cha - challenging. I'm dancing the cha cha this week. I find it so

:34:01. > :34:03.fast! Because of the speed of this dance, I want to try something

:34:04. > :34:08.different. We're going to have a race. If I can g her faster than me,

:34:09. > :34:12.she can be faster than me in the studio and get her thinking fast

:34:13. > :34:16.feet and legs. Cha cha is that. It's the first time I've ever set foot on

:34:17. > :34:24.a running track. I think he wants me to run. Go!

:34:25. > :34:31.I appeared to win, but I think Brendan slowed down. Beat me on the

:34:32. > :34:34.track. So I know I've got a quick girl. The race is really useful. I

:34:35. > :34:40.think I've got my speed up now. Bring on Saturday night.

:34:41. > :36:32.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Lovely. Lovely finish to the show. A

:36:33. > :36:38.bit hot, yes? Lovely. Darcey? That was, you know, a cha cha has to be

:36:39. > :36:42.lively, slick and cheeky dance with attitude. And you gave that. You

:36:43. > :36:47.gave a lot of those things. I would say the only thing is your knees get

:36:48. > :36:52.a little soft. You have such long legs, you have to work hard at

:36:53. > :36:59.really locking those knees. But so beautifully musical. I really love

:37:00. > :37:03.watching you. Very nice, Len? For me, it was

:37:04. > :37:08.competent, but I can't agree with you. I don't think you got into that

:37:09. > :37:13.dance at all. It was all too staged and put up. Listen, I only say what

:37:14. > :37:18.I see. That's all I do. It's a little bit Brittle throughout. I

:37:19. > :37:23.didn't feel it had that tick and it wasn't cheeky, it wasn't raunchy. I

:37:24. > :37:27.didn't see a lot of interplay. I had some interplay, don't you worry
