:00:07. > :00:16.Last week, Strictly fell in love. For some, romance blossomed. Love,
:00:17. > :00:22.love, love. Julienne survived the dreaded dance off for the second
:00:23. > :00:24.time. And escaped a broken heart. This week 13 couples remain and
:00:25. > :00:41.superstition is in the air. Hey! 13 couples, unlucky for one. Not me
:00:42. > :01:42.hopefully. Live from the Strictly ballroom,
:01:43. > :01:55.this is Strictly Come Dancing. Please welcome your hosts, Sir Bruce
:01:56. > :02:05.Forsyth and Tess Daly. APPLAUSE
:02:06. > :02:08.I saw you, tricky foot work. A new step. I liked the new step. Thank
:02:09. > :02:15.you. CHEERING
:02:16. > :02:20.Oh, they're lively. They've woken up. Good evening, ladies and
:02:21. > :02:26.gentleman and children, welcome to Strictly Come Dancing. It's nice to
:02:27. > :02:31.see you, to see you... NICE! Wow, amazing. Nice to see you. You
:02:32. > :02:35.my love. Wasn't week was a great show, all about love. I think love
:02:36. > :02:42.is here to stay. I've heard more and more couples are having candle-lit
:02:43. > :02:51.dinners. Is that because romance is here forever? No, they can't afford
:02:52. > :02:59.the Energy Bills. APPLAUSE
:03:00. > :03:02.Vote for Forsyth! You know it makes sense.
:03:03. > :03:10.APPLAUSE Yes, it's in the far away now. I can
:03:11. > :03:14.feel it. I will be needed. For one couple love wasn't in the air.
:03:15. > :03:20.Vanessa and James left the dance floor for good. Sad, yes. Breaking
:03:21. > :03:28.up is hard to do and so our couples must once again face the music and
:03:29. > :03:33.battle on to avoid the dreaded dance-off. We've ramped up the
:03:34. > :03:39.tension enough. Is it time to begin worshipping in the temple of dance.
:03:40. > :03:44.Temple of dance? Who wrote that? Come here, my beauty. Oh, I say.
:03:45. > :03:49.It's time to meet the stars of our show.
:03:50. > :03:54.Pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her partner Brendan Cole. Star of stage
:03:55. > :03:58.and screen Mark Benton and his partner Iveta Lukosiute. BBC
:03:59. > :04:03.Breakfast presenter Susanna Reid and her partner Kevin Clifton. England
:04:04. > :04:08.rugby hero Ben Cohen and his partner Kristina Rihanoff. Coronation Street
:04:09. > :04:12.Star Natalie Gumede and her partner Artem Chigvintsev. International
:04:13. > :04:17.fashion designer Julien McDonald and his partner Janette Manrara. Model
:04:18. > :04:22.and TV presenter Abbey Clancy and her partner Aljaz Skornajec. From
:04:23. > :04:28.Hollyoaks, Ashley Taylor Dawson and his partner Ola Jordan. Star of
:04:29. > :04:31.Dragon's Den Deborah Meaden and her partner Robin Windsor. Casualty star
:04:32. > :04:36.Patrick Robinson and his partner Anya Garnis. Countdown presenter
:04:37. > :04:39.Rachel Riley and her partner Pasha Kovalev. TV Chef and Hairy Biker
:04:40. > :04:45.Dave Myers and his partner Karen Hauer. And Bond girl and author
:04:46. > :04:59.Fiona Fullerton and her partner Anton du Beke.
:05:00. > :05:14.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Look at them. Just look at them.
:05:15. > :05:18.There they all are. Now, now then, a lot of relations in I think. You
:05:19. > :05:26.might have read in the papers that Craig will soon be having a hip
:05:27. > :05:36.operation. Aawww. Evidently for the past ten years he's had to put up
:05:37. > :05:42.with a persistent pain. The first one who says, "So have we, Craig"
:05:43. > :05:48.will get a low mark tonight. As I thought - you're all chicken. Our 13
:05:49. > :05:51.lucky chickens are bursting to get to the dance floor and show us what
:05:52. > :05:56.they've done. Who is going first? I'm glad you asked, our first couple
:05:57. > :06:06.tonight is Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her partner Brendan Cole.
:06:07. > :06:13.APPLAUSE They're in the middle. Their dance
:06:14. > :06:19.will have a 1920s feel about it. I was born in the 1920s, what a lovely
:06:20. > :06:23.moment that must have been the midwife handing me to my mother and
:06:24. > :06:28.saying, "Congratulations Mrs Forsyth, it's a chin."
:06:29. > :06:34.LAUGHTER Shut up. That's not funny. You keep
:06:35. > :06:40.quiet as well. I'm not laughing. Here they are in training. .
:06:41. > :06:48.Dancing the samba for me was quite a challenge. I was a jumble of nerves.
:06:49. > :06:55.What you did was a sophisticated samba, chic yet sexy. Bruno was
:06:56. > :06:59.really kind to me. It's a bit intimidating the Latin numbers
:07:00. > :07:03.because they are supposed to be the sexy side. I got through it and I
:07:04. > :07:11.managed to enjoy it. But it's a whole new dance this week. This week
:07:12. > :07:15.we are dancing the foxtrot. Sorry. You've got to attack every dance in
:07:16. > :07:21.the right mind set, put yourself in that Syria. Picture the costume.
:07:22. > :07:25.Maybe if I went to try and find some clothes from that era it might be a
:07:26. > :07:29.good way to get into character. You want to go shopping? I want to go
:07:30. > :07:33.shopping. We're going vintage clothes shopping, I'm sure it will
:07:34. > :07:36.help with my foxtrot. Pretty things everywhere. Shopping, probably not
:07:37. > :07:41.my first choice of things to do. But I am here to support. If Sophie
:07:42. > :07:45.wants shopping, Sophie gets shopping. When we were shopping,
:07:46. > :07:49.Brendan did look a bit bored from time to time. But I'd say he
:07:50. > :07:51.tolerated the exercise really. My head is definitely in the 1930s now.
:07:52. > :09:51.I just hope my feet are too. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:09:52. > :10:00.What a start! Oh, I say, enjoy it. Look at that. Oh, what a start.
:10:01. > :10:05.Thank you both. Oh, you're embarrassed. A little bit. Don't be
:10:06. > :10:11.embarrassed about being that good, never. Let's welcome our judges,
:10:12. > :10:20.Craig, Darcy, Len and Bruno! APPLAUSE
:10:21. > :10:24.I'm sure the judges, all of our dancers and our audience would like
:10:25. > :10:32.to join me in wishing Craig good luck for his hip operation. Are you
:10:33. > :10:43.ready? Let's do it right. If we're going to do it, do it right. Ready?
:10:44. > :10:47.Hip Hip Hooray. In all seriousness, we do wish you all the best for it.
:10:48. > :10:55.I hope everything goes absolutely wonderful. That is from our hearts.
:10:56. > :10:59.That's very sweet, thank you. Now then, I've been dying to do that all
:11:00. > :11:02.day. Len, what did you think of that? No messing about, you went
:11:03. > :11:07.straight into the routine, none of that silly stuff going on. I loved
:11:08. > :11:16.the music. I loved the routine. I loved the dance. What more do you
:11:17. > :11:24.want? Fabulous. Oh, my darling, you really looked like a Hollywood star
:11:25. > :11:29.from Hollywood's golden era. Exquisite elegance, immaculate sense
:11:30. > :11:33.of style. What I really like, when you take a turn, you hold it until
:11:34. > :11:41.the last moment of the musical phrase, before you go into the next
:11:42. > :11:46.one. It's so lovely to see. Sustain the top line. That's the only tiny
:11:47. > :11:50.little thing. You really have to sustain that. I'd like to add,
:11:51. > :12:00.that's probably the singer in you that helps you do those it helps
:12:01. > :12:04.with the dance. I have to agree with Bruno, your top line is suffering
:12:05. > :12:07.somewhat. That's a small thing. A couple of heels missing, but it was
:12:08. > :12:12.elegant. It was graceful. The movement around the floor was
:12:13. > :12:21.absolutely exquisite. Fabulous clean pave ots, darling -- pivots,
:12:22. > :12:26.darling, loved it. You really gave Sophie a really hard
:12:27. > :12:30.foxtrot, but you created such ease, with your travelling and gliding. I
:12:31. > :12:35.would say when you create that spin, in the standing spins, don't let the
:12:36. > :12:39.shoulder rise, that was the only thing. You get faster and faster.
:12:40. > :12:44.But not that it bothered me because you have style and grace all the way
:12:45. > :12:45.through. Beautiful. It was near perfection. Thank you very much.
:12:46. > :13:01.Well done both of you. Off you go. What a start to the show!
:13:02. > :13:04.APPLAUSE You do not disappoint. Are you
:13:05. > :13:08.embarrassed? Yeah, I was a bit. Ened ing ovation to start the show. It
:13:09. > :13:12.doesn't get much better than that. Bruno said you looked like a
:13:13. > :13:16.Hollywood star. Four weeks in, you are excelling in both ballroom and
:13:17. > :13:19.Latin. Do you feel that you're falling in love with ballroom
:13:20. > :13:22.dancing? I love, love, love the way it looks. No, I find it really
:13:23. > :13:26.tricky. There's so much going on all the time, the technique. I can only
:13:27. > :13:31.credit Brendan if I'm getting it right. You make it look effortless.
:13:32. > :13:36.You can't fake chemistry. You two have bucket loads. What's she like
:13:37. > :13:39.to dance with? Foxtrot is a tricky one to get feeling relaxed. It felt
:13:40. > :13:45.beautiful out there. You should be very proud of yourself. And your
:13:46. > :14:09.84-year-old granny Sybil is here tonight. Yeah, Sybil! Scores are in:
:14:10. > :14:18.She said, "I can't cope." Great score. She needs a sit down. I hope
:14:19. > :14:23.my granny's all right. If you think that foxtrot was good enough to keep
:14:24. > :14:24.Sophie and Brendan in the competition these are the numbers
:14:25. > :14:38.you need: Voting lines don't open until all
:14:39. > :14:42.our couples have danced. Please don't vote now. If you do your vote
:14:43. > :14:46.won't count and you may be charged. The couples with the lowest combined
:14:47. > :14:48.score will be in the dance-off tomorrow night. Scared faces. Who's
:14:49. > :14:56.next? Our next couple is Fiona Fullerton
:14:57. > :15:06.and her partner Anton Du Beke. Very popular couple. As you know, Fiona
:15:07. > :15:10.used to be a Bond girl. I told her I saw a Bond film the other night and
:15:11. > :15:17.I really fancied one of the girls. But she was way, way too young for
:15:18. > :15:23.me. She said, "Who was it? I said, "Judi Dench."
:15:24. > :15:25.APPLAUSE Poor Judi. She never ever got over
:15:26. > :15:37.it. Here they are in training. I was really looking forward to the
:15:38. > :15:43.dance because Anton is the king of ballroom and the waltz. I felt that
:15:44. > :15:49.I was in very safe hands. Nice and classy, Princess Fiona. I was
:15:50. > :15:53.thrilled we got 28 points. I don't think I've had 28 points in the last
:15:54. > :15:58.three series added together. Now, there is that added pressure to keep
:15:59. > :16:06.improving, but whether the scores will improve, who knows. Good. Put
:16:07. > :16:10.your arms down. I'm a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan. When my father
:16:11. > :16:14.passed away in 2008, it became a tradition that my mum would come to
:16:15. > :16:20.our house for the weekend and then we would all watch Strictly
:16:21. > :16:26.together. So this week, I thought I'd bring extra Strictly magic to
:16:27. > :16:32.our family gathering. What a wonderful surprise. Would you like
:16:33. > :16:35.to get up. All my friends are going to be
:16:36. > :16:42.really jealous that I've had a dance with Anton. It was an absolute
:16:43. > :16:45.pleasure dancing with Fiona's mum. Exquisite dancing obviously runs in
:16:46. > :16:47.the family. I don't really want to be sitting on the sofa on a Saturday
:16:48. > :18:48.night too soon. Keep dancing! Come here. What happened at the end
:18:49. > :18:53.there? Something? So you invited him back to meet the family, did you? I
:18:54. > :18:56.didn't see the film. While you catch your breath, it's a good time to
:18:57. > :19:11.welcome our fabulous singers, Dave Arch and his fabulous orchestra.
:19:12. > :19:15.Wave. OK now then, Bruno, we start with you. Fiona, sweet heart, the
:19:16. > :19:21.packaging was very enticing and very promising at the beginning. There
:19:22. > :19:25.were a few serious issues with balance and losing your step and
:19:26. > :19:31.fluidity, my darling. The rumba is all about, no, you know. It's all
:19:32. > :19:37.about continuous motion. You can't just stop and start. It was very
:19:38. > :19:42.evident. I still think you have it, but you really have to concentrate
:19:43. > :19:50.in sustaining your performances. I am. We all make mistakes. Of course.
:19:51. > :19:59.Craig? Dare I mention it, the hip action, darling, I thought was very,
:20:00. > :20:05.very stiff and plonky. It sort of clunked into place. Your exit from
:20:06. > :20:10.the floor spin, you did a bizarre jump out of that. It lacked a bit of
:20:11. > :20:15.rhythm and any sort of connection with Anton. Also your balance went
:20:16. > :20:22.and you missed that last move there. That was quite sad. Overall not your
:20:23. > :20:26.best. We choreographed it like that, actually.
:20:27. > :20:33.APPLAUSE You can do it normally... We've done
:20:34. > :20:41.it in practice many times. We thought we'd do it in the
:20:42. > :20:45.controversial version. Darcey? For me, you have that slinky lady
:20:46. > :20:48.effect, you were caressing the floor. It was very good at the
:20:49. > :20:53.beginning, but it's true, you do lose focus. I really don't want us
:20:54. > :20:58.to notice or you to show us that you're making any mistakes. Please
:20:59. > :21:05.don't show it. It's really important that you focus. I mean, I think
:21:06. > :21:10.there is so much in you and you've got to survive. So bring out the
:21:11. > :21:17.fight in you next time. Yes, exactly. Good comments there. OK,
:21:18. > :21:23.Len? All the steps were. There the attitude was good. The rumba is such
:21:24. > :21:28.ape slow, pre-- such a slow, precise dance and it magnifies any mistakes.
:21:29. > :21:34.When it's fast moving, you make a mistake and you're on to the next
:21:35. > :21:38.thing. With a rumba, it's like Len's lens, you see it. There were a few
:21:39. > :21:45.issues. I liked the attitude you came out with. I thought there was
:21:46. > :21:50.one. One what? One issue. One in each section. You messed up the fan
:21:51. > :21:54.position. You went off on the wrong foot. You were falling all over him.
:21:55. > :21:58.I was being nice and then you come back. I enjoyed watching you, as I
:21:59. > :22:10.always do. You shouldn't have said that.
:22:11. > :22:11.Any way, off you go. APPLAUSE
:22:12. > :22:25.Oh, I love you. And breathe. Darcey said similar,
:22:26. > :22:30.Bruno said you have got it but you have to concentrate. Do the nerves
:22:31. > :22:34.get to you? I think I'm concentrating like mad. I don't know
:22:35. > :22:38.what the issue is. I did lose my balance and I've never done that
:22:39. > :22:42.before. It's becoming my USP to go wrong every week. The rumba is a
:22:43. > :22:45.difficult dance. How do you think Fiona did? Tremendously, it is a
:22:46. > :22:49.difficult dance, if you go a little bit off, it is magnified in that
:22:50. > :22:54.respect. I thought you did beautifully. You danced beautifully.
:22:55. > :23:18.You look beautiful. The scores are in:
:23:19. > :23:26.Those scores are only half the story. Your votes could change the
:23:27. > :23:29.course of Fiona Andrew ton's dancing future. Call from your mobile or
:23:30. > :23:35.land line or get online. There's so much to come. Julienne and Janette.
:23:36. > :23:41.They're doing the salsa. And Natalie and Artem with the quickstep.
:23:42. > :23:53.Next up is Mark Benton and his partner, Iveta Lukosiute. Now, they
:23:54. > :24:02.are dancing to an urban rap hip-hop song. Let me tell you everything I
:24:03. > :24:10.know about urban rap and hip-hop. LAUGHTER
:24:11. > :24:21.Here they are in training. I thought our performance went really well.
:24:22. > :24:25.All the judges last week picked up on our story telling. You can tell a
:24:26. > :24:30.story. It was mimed to perfection. It's something that I love to do.
:24:31. > :24:36.Craig picked up on my hands again. Absolutely ruining the line. With
:24:37. > :24:40.the nerves you can't think of everything. I love watching you, you
:24:41. > :24:44.get it and that's great. I was thrilled with the score. Hopefully
:24:45. > :24:56.we can keep going that way rather than that way. This week we're
:24:57. > :24:59.dancing the cha cha to MC Hammer U Can't Touch This. Mark's cools are
:25:00. > :25:04.not as cool as he thinks they are. I can throw some shapes, I can bust
:25:05. > :25:09.some moves. I'm trying my best to be cool. Mark needs to be cool in this
:25:10. > :25:16.dance. I got an idea that might just help him to get into character and
:25:17. > :25:20.be cool. Hi Marky boy. I've got you some accessories. Check it out.
:25:21. > :25:27.# You've got to fight for your right to party #
:25:28. > :25:30.You look cool, you feel cool, let's dance cool. I've got the moves. I've
:25:31. > :25:35.got the attitude. Bring on Saturday night.
:25:36. > :27:41.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE There we are, Mark, enjoy it.
:27:42. > :27:50.A standing ovation and well deserved. That was wonderful.
:27:51. > :27:59.Now I know what urban rap and hip-hop is. I think! Right Craig? I
:28:00. > :28:10.can see what the judges think. I have to say, I can't believe the
:28:11. > :28:14.audience. I mean... BOO They give you a false sense of
:28:15. > :28:19.security. It was all very flat footed and stompy. The cha cha cha
:28:20. > :28:33.that you actually did was danced, I'm afraid, very badly. I don't know
:28:34. > :28:38.how are they... I disagree. That was brilliant! There was leg action. I
:28:39. > :28:44.didn't know you had that in you. It was great and you've worked really
:28:45. > :28:52.hard on those details. Every little look. Fabulous. It's just brilliant.
:28:53. > :28:55.Loved it. Len, what did you think? I tell you what, you're full of
:28:56. > :29:02.talent, I won't tell you what Craig's full of. I tell you what you
:29:03. > :29:07.had in there, you had so many basic steps, New Yorks, time steps, Cuban
:29:08. > :29:19.breaks, you did a fan and a hockey stick. Mark, do it again.
:29:20. > :29:25.It was so beautiful. Bruno? MC Mark is going for gold. Or was it brass,
:29:26. > :29:30.I'm not quite sure. But you had plenty of bling. It was unique. It
:29:31. > :29:39.was different. It was memorable. And very, very funny. And the way they
:29:40. > :29:47.work together, your movement, it was a team. We are a team. Thank you. It
:29:48. > :30:01.was wonderful. Off you go. APPLAUSE
:30:02. > :30:08.Break it down, touch me. One time. Len wants to see it again. Show us
:30:09. > :30:14.one more hip-hop move, because you can. Yeah! That's the one.
:30:15. > :30:18.That was one heck of a cha cha. We absolutely loved it. The aupd yens
:30:19. > :30:22.were on -- audience were on their feet. Have you found your funky
:30:23. > :30:27.Latin side? Definitely. Safe to say. How hard does he work in training,
:30:28. > :30:31.looks like it. There were a lot of moves. I don't want to make it sound
:30:32. > :30:38.like he doesn't work hard because we have a lot of fun. But he works real
:30:39. > :31:08.little hard, honestly. Yeah, I do. I do! Scores are in:
:31:09. > :31:20.Ignore Craig. Call from your mobile or from your land line or you can
:31:21. > :31:25.vote for free online. But stop. Hammertime! Thank you. Nice. Voting
:31:26. > :31:31.won't open until all our couples have danced. I'm going to dig out my
:31:32. > :31:37.baggy pants now. Who's next? Our next couple is Ashley Taylor
:31:38. > :31:44.Dawson and his partner, Ola Jordan. A lot of fans here. Now, Ashley is
:31:45. > :31:49.one of the hardest working celebrities we have ever had and
:31:50. > :31:53.he's coping very well with the pitter patter of tiny feet. Nothing
:31:54. > :32:00.to do with his new baby, he's got mice in the dressing room.
:32:01. > :32:09.Alan Carr game me that joke! Here they are in training. I was really
:32:10. > :32:15.excited about the samba, because it was a fast routine. The bottom line
:32:16. > :32:18.is you've coped well with a very difficult dance. That's the best
:32:19. > :32:23.thing I've heard in years. I was happy with that. Just maybe do up
:32:24. > :32:26.the shirt next week and then I won't be distracted! I love the fact that
:32:27. > :32:33.I'm on Strictly Come Dancing. It's the best experience of my life. I
:32:34. > :32:39.just want to improve. It's a hug. This week, I'm dancing
:32:40. > :32:47.the Viennese waltz. Ashley has got to be romantic and loving. Don't
:32:48. > :32:53.laugh. Don't smile. It's romantic. I've got a good idea. In order to
:32:54. > :33:00.inspire Ashley, I took him to a cinema to watch the old classics.
:33:01. > :33:09.Very good, very funny. I saw my lovely face on the big screen
:33:10. > :33:14.necking birds. Thanks Ola, not embarrassing at all (! ) I think he
:33:15. > :33:19.was happy the were only two of us in the cinema. Are we doing that? No,
:33:20. > :33:21.just the look on your face. You've stitched me up. Revenge is sweet.
:33:22. > :35:12.You wait. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:35:13. > :35:22.Very lovely. Lovely rue teen, beautiful. Come in here. Oh,
:35:23. > :35:29.absolutely. Due enjoy that? Yes. I couldn't wear a vest. With a lovely
:35:30. > :35:35.outfit like that? Right, Darcey? Ashley, a veen yeets waltz is --
:35:36. > :35:38.Viennese waltz is faster than a waltz, it has many turns, it's
:35:39. > :35:42.smooth and romantic and you gave many of those things. It was a
:35:43. > :35:46.little, for me, a little bit too safe and placed. So I just want you
:35:47. > :35:51.to push yourself next time and go for it. What you did give me is a
:35:52. > :35:54.neck, your eye line level, very elegant in your top line. That's
:35:55. > :35:57.what I really wanted especially from last week, and you gave me that.
:35:58. > :36:06.Just push yourself a little bit harder. Drive through. Go for it.
:36:07. > :36:11.I thought it was beautiful. Len? It had romance, elegance and there was
:36:12. > :36:14.a style to it. I thought your footwork, you've obviously worked on
:36:15. > :36:21.that. A little bit wafty on occasions, I thought. And the other
:36:22. > :36:25.thing, I liked the fleckerl, it needed for me, you get a bit stiff,
:36:26. > :36:30.you're being told keep your head to the left and then you get stiff. So
:36:31. > :36:37.you get a bit stiff in the top. Just needed a bit more gusto to it. A bit
:36:38. > :36:43.more gotcha. I think we know what you mean. Buno? I -- Bruno? I didn't
:36:44. > :36:53.mind the wafty at all. He extends his lines beautifully. The casual
:36:54. > :36:59.flick of the wrist. Very Darcey. We love that. It was tender, romantic,
:37:00. > :37:03.they are right, you need more oomph. You need to drive it. Keep it there.
:37:04. > :37:09.That was a good Darcey, I tell you that. You could have fooled me. It
:37:10. > :37:15.had me going. The only thing that bothered me about it were your arms
:37:16. > :37:21.out of hold. They seem unnatural actually. They're not as flowy as
:37:22. > :37:25.Bruno was making out. They're actually quite bizarrely stiff. No,
:37:26. > :37:30.it wasn't stiff. They are. You into Ed to work on that. No. That would
:37:31. > :37:37.have swept me away with that. It ruined it a bit more me. Oh, well,
:37:38. > :37:42.some things to work on. Still don't like the vest. Don't wear a vest
:37:43. > :37:47.with a lovely outfit like that. I'm surprised at awe -- you, I really
:37:48. > :37:50.am. You're getting the blame. No more vests. Good luck.
:37:51. > :38:06.APPLAUSE Your beautiful angel Ola. We thought
:38:07. > :38:10.it was gorgeous to watch. How did it feel? Maybe I was a bit stiff, that
:38:11. > :38:15.was probably the nerves. I enjoyed it. How has the public's reaction
:38:16. > :38:20.been to your taking part in Strictly? Everywhere you go, they
:38:21. > :38:23.wait until they're leaving and they say, "Good luck." It's quite
:38:24. > :38:52.overwhelming. The scores are in: Great score for you guys. No more
:38:53. > :38:58.bruises. A lot in training. Call from your mobile or from your
:38:59. > :39:04.landline, or you can vote online if Ashley and Ola's gorgeous Viennese
:39:05. > :39:16.waltz whisked you away. Earlier I gave you the wrong number for Mark
:39:17. > :39:21.and Iveta. The numbers are: Patrick is begging Anya for mercy and Ben is
:39:22. > :39:31.proving hard to handle. I bet! Our fifth couple is Julien Macdonald
:39:32. > :39:36.and his partner Janette Manrara. Now they are dancing a salsa to a
:39:37. > :39:43.Spice Girls hit. The whole routine is going to be a tribute to herbs
:39:44. > :39:48.and spices. Julienne will be trying -- Julien will try his best to cut
:39:49. > :39:59.the mustard. Janette will be wearing hardly any cloves. And we all hope
:40:00. > :40:06.and pray that Julien keeps in thyme. Here they are in training. I was
:40:07. > :40:12.really looking forward to the show on Saturday. I really liked my
:40:13. > :40:18.routine. I loved the song. It was a criminal attack on the jive. In the
:40:19. > :40:25.dance-off it's Julien and Janette. Here I go again. I was more
:40:26. > :40:28.focussed. I need to keep Julien and Janette. I need to prove to everyone
:40:29. > :40:33.that I can dance and I want to be here.
:40:34. > :40:37.I'm really happy that I'm dancing to a Spice Girls song. I used to dress
:40:38. > :40:41.all the Spice Girls. I didn't realise they were all Strictly fans.
:40:42. > :40:46.Julien good luck. Don't mess it up. And I'll be thinking about you.
:40:47. > :40:52.What's before that? Left first. I love the dance. I love the song. My
:40:53. > :40:56.problem is I can't remember the steps. I created a game show memory
:40:57. > :41:01.show for Julien. It was Spice Girls themed to help him remember his
:41:02. > :41:05.steps. I remember that, I made that. After two weeks in the dance-off
:41:06. > :41:11.it's nice to have some fun in the training room. Go! Steps, Union Jack
:41:12. > :41:16.dress, a mug, a cuddly toy, a picture of Bruce, erm...... Well
:41:17. > :41:20.done. Let's hope I can really spice up my dance routine this week. I
:41:21. > :41:26.really don't want to end up in the bottom two again.
:41:27. > :43:23.I think he's got it. By jove he's got it. Well done. Thank you Bruce.
:43:24. > :43:27.You put a lot of effort into that. I liked your attitude. You come out
:43:28. > :43:32.and attacked the dance. It was a bit wild and whacky. It needed a bit
:43:33. > :43:37.more control. So work a little bit on that. The dynamic of it is
:43:38. > :43:45.terrific. Control yourself. Well, that's a good tip. Definitely high
:43:46. > :43:53.on spice. It looked like you all tried to do them at once, scary,
:43:54. > :43:59.spicy, baby, posh. Sporty. The thing is... Now to be honest, I have to
:44:00. > :44:03.tell the truth, you threw yourself into it beautifully. You always do
:44:04. > :44:09.everything you can. But, if you stay on, you cannot force yourself upon a
:44:10. > :44:12.dance. You have to go with it. You have to go with the music, because
:44:13. > :44:18.what happens, the worst thing again is your timing. It's like you're not
:44:19. > :44:22.listening to the music. You're trying so hard and I feel for you.
:44:23. > :44:29.But ease off a bit. Go with it. Listen to the music. Was better, on
:44:30. > :44:35.the beat more times than not. I am trying really hard. I love it,
:44:36. > :44:40.but I find it so difficult. Because you overthink it maybe.
:44:41. > :44:45.Craig? There was no rotation at all, whatsoever in the hip department.
:44:46. > :44:49.This dance should flow and have a motor and it should be an easier
:44:50. > :44:56.steady thing that goes through it. You lack musicality. That is your
:44:57. > :45:06.problem, I think. There was a lot of hip action in the beginning.
:45:07. > :45:10.Don't answer that. Darcey? It was certainly fun. There were dynamics
:45:11. > :45:15.there. That's what you need. You've tried really hard at keeping in
:45:16. > :45:19.sync. You were nearly all the way through in sync. It is just those
:45:20. > :45:28.isolations, but I think that was your best dance.
:45:29. > :45:34.It was. It was his best chance, but we
:45:35. > :45:37.didn't have much to choose from. Go on off you go!
:45:38. > :45:51.APPLAUSE Well done. We were all rooting for
:45:52. > :46:00.you up here. You nailed it. Darcey said your best dance yet. Bruno says
:46:01. > :46:08.you do all you can. I give it 400, 500, 1,000%. We know it. I have
:46:09. > :46:11.2,000 cratals on. -- cystals on. Twice you've survived the dance-off,
:46:12. > :46:16.have you done enough to not be there again this week? I hope so. I've
:46:17. > :46:17.danced night and day. I don't know what else I can do. The commitment
:46:18. > :46:43.is there. Let's hope the scores are. I do believe that is your best score
:46:44. > :46:54.yet. They're going up and up. If Julien and Janette spiced up your
:46:55. > :47:00.life then call: Or vote online later. They do not want to be in the
:47:01. > :47:05.dance-off for a third time. No. No Second Night Out. -- No, no.
:47:06. > :47:10.More drama tonight. Deborah is revealing all to a Eurovision
:47:11. > :47:15.classic and Dave is a matinee idol. Who's next?
:47:16. > :47:20.Now, it for our next couple Rachel Riley and her partner, Pasha
:47:21. > :47:27.Kovalev. Another lovely couple. For their
:47:28. > :47:31.dance they're going to be a pair of gangsters robbing a bank. I went out
:47:32. > :47:36.with a girl who worked in a bank once, the trouble was every time she
:47:37. > :47:45.sent me a love letter, she charged me 25 quid.
:47:46. > :47:45.Is it there? Well do it then! APPLAUSE
:47:46. > :47:55.Here they are in training. When I knew I had to dance the cha
:47:56. > :48:00.cha the week after the salsa, I was a bit scared. I had to get myself in
:48:01. > :48:08.the zone. Overall I was rely pleased with how it went. You got your old
:48:09. > :48:12.hips going there. Bionic bum. It was clean and precise. To go from 20
:48:13. > :48:18.points in the salsa to 27 in the cha cha I was really, really happy. I
:48:19. > :48:22.can only get better from here, I hope. This week Pasha and I are
:48:23. > :48:29.dancing the quickstep. For the quickstep you need a lot of speed,
:48:30. > :48:32.stamina and quick reflexes. If we can relate it to a sport that will
:48:33. > :48:42.really help your dance. So what sport? Let's play some squash.
:48:43. > :48:45.Come on. I have an idea. Every time you swing, before the ball comes
:48:46. > :48:50.back, give me a quickstep. Don't stop. Shoulders down. Keep
:48:51. > :48:54.your feet going. Faster, faster. I did feel silly doing quicksteps on
:48:55. > :48:57.the court. But hopefully it gets it into my head that I need to
:48:58. > :49:02.anticipate the next move, which should help. You are so fast here,
:49:03. > :49:04.so if you just bring it in the ballroom on Saturday night, your
:49:05. > :51:01.quickstep would be unstoppable. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:51:02. > :51:04.They were after our Glitterball. That was the big steal. Well done,
:51:05. > :51:11.the pair of you. That was a fast quickstep.
:51:12. > :51:18.That was really fast. Bruno? Rachel, you tricky girl, you just about got
:51:19. > :51:21.away with it. I tell you, plenty of content, but what you need is
:51:22. > :51:24.control. I think a lot of the mistakes happen because you lose
:51:25. > :51:30.control of your body. Work on the control. Control and strength. OK.
:51:31. > :51:35.Craig? The thing that really let that down was your top line. That
:51:36. > :51:40.would have looked and OK, you would have got away with it, but I felt
:51:41. > :51:43.like you were being flung about. You lost your balance. Then a series of
:51:44. > :51:48.mistakes and the leap at the end went wrong. You must tighten your
:51:49. > :51:52.bum cheeks darling when you go through that at the end, then you
:51:53. > :51:58.will glide beautifully. There's a good tip for you, my dear.
:51:59. > :52:03.Work on that. Darcey? Pasha gave you a very
:52:04. > :52:07.challenging quickstep. It's not easy. That was very fast. Just watch
:52:08. > :52:11.you don't grip on his shoulder like that or it's a bit of gripping. I
:52:12. > :52:14.know I've said it before, it is about strength in your core because
:52:15. > :52:22.you have, that was hard and you did a very good job, just trek then that
:52:23. > :52:29.-- streng Chen that core -- strengthen that corps and there will
:52:30. > :52:38.be much improvement. Len. If you can stop laughing. You'll be clenching
:52:39. > :52:39.your bum cheeks tomorrow when they kick...
:52:40. > :52:48.LAUGHTER What was that? What did you say? I
:52:49. > :52:53.can't repeat it. It was only a bit of whimsy.
:52:54. > :52:56.Listen, the quaunt of steps was there -- quantity of steps was
:52:57. > :52:59.there. It was the quality in the top. You started off terrific. I
:53:00. > :53:05.thought this is going to be your best dance. As it went on, you lost
:53:06. > :53:08.your posture a bit. Lovely foot work, though. I loved everything
:53:09. > :53:12.down stairs was beautiful. It's just you have to get this top up a bit
:53:13. > :53:19.and focus. Well done.
:53:20. > :53:23.It was lovely. Don't listen to that nonsense. Away you go. Good luck.
:53:24. > :53:37.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Bruno's officially off his rocker.
:53:38. > :53:40.Love that. Right, Len loved your foot work. Do you feel like you've
:53:41. > :53:45.found your dancing feet? I found them and then I lost them and then I
:53:46. > :53:48.found them. I'm not sure. Maybe one. Darcey said you did a very good job.
:53:49. > :54:09.Encouraging comments from those two. Scores are in:
:54:10. > :54:25.26! Call from your mobile or from your land line, or you can go online
:54:26. > :54:28.when voting opens later on. Six dancers down, seven more waiting
:54:29. > :54:38.nervously in the blocks and still all this to come: One, two and
:54:39. > :54:53.three. It feels so weird. Have I actually got hips? You do have hips.
:54:54. > :55:01.Here comes Shakira. Your back? Does it hurt? Yeah. This was your paso
:55:02. > :55:09.face, it has to turn into a happy face. Now is not the time to be
:55:10. > :55:15.going all shy on me. Len, why didn't you just say,up,up,
:55:16. > :55:21.pig's bum. -- yum, yum, pig's bum. Everything
:55:22. > :55:27.would have been fine. I know what camera it is! I'm not an idiot. Did
:55:28. > :55:32.you see that? Next up, it's Ben Cohen and his partner, Kristina
:55:33. > :55:38.Rihanoff. Yes, very popular, they really are.
:55:39. > :55:43.For their dance, they're going to be a life-sized car on the floor.
:55:44. > :55:49.You'll see it in a minute just there. Funnily enough, the car
:55:50. > :55:55.reminds me so much of Ben - very powerful, as a well upholstered
:55:56. > :56:05.seat, and looks great with the top off. Am I right, ladies? Get back!
:56:06. > :56:09.Right, here they are in training. Last Saturday, I felt better when I
:56:10. > :56:13.danced. I started to let go a bit. There's no nerves. They've
:56:14. > :56:17.disappeared. Seven! We got good scores. That was completely
:56:18. > :56:21.spontaneous, going up and giving Craig a kiss and a cuddle, bless
:56:22. > :56:23.him. Keep going because you're going well. We're heading in the right
:56:24. > :56:26.direction. That's what the competition is about. There's no
:56:27. > :56:36.dancing background and seeing you turn into a beautiful dancer - I
:56:37. > :56:44.hope! One, two, three, four... This week, we're dancing the salsa. It's
:56:45. > :56:48.a massive transition from rugby player to a person on the dance
:56:49. > :56:55.floor. Rugby players did really well on the show. You know Matt Dawson
:56:56. > :56:59.and Austin Healy did wonderfully. Today I arranged for Matt to come to
:57:00. > :57:05.rehearsals and help Ben with his salsa. It was good to catch up with
:57:06. > :57:10.him and he gave me some tips. I thought his salsa was great. I
:57:11. > :57:19.think he can move his hips. He's got rhythm. So pleasantly surprised.
:57:20. > :57:23.He's got it. He hasn't lost it. I'm happy to have Matt in. Hopefully
:57:24. > :57:25.fingers crossed and I can let go on Saturday fight into.
:57:26. > :59:08.-- Saturday night. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:59:09. > :59:17.They love you. Look at them. Well, a standing
:59:18. > :59:22.ovation for Ben. I tell you, the rugby player, the way you picked her
:59:23. > :59:32.head up. That was - I loved that bit. Bute flifl. -- beautiful. Dirty
:59:33. > :59:42.oiled mechanic... Ticking every box. I loved it. Craig, control yourself.
:59:43. > :59:47.Next time let him kiss you. Ben, you can certainly handle Kristina with
:59:48. > :59:50.ease and confidence. You definitely have come out of your shell. You're
:59:51. > :00:11.having fun. I love it. You'll wait your turn.
:00:12. > :00:15.Len's first. Ben, you've got the guns and tonight
:00:16. > :00:23.you have the ammunition. That was terrific.
:00:24. > :00:34.Well done. Bruno? Surprisingly smooth for such a big bruiser. I
:00:35. > :00:39.want to see more of you. Of me? Of him. I thought so. The way you are
:00:40. > :00:43.getting on with him is absolutely wonderful. Well done. Ben, keep
:00:44. > :00:59.going. He's got the guns and he's got the
:01:00. > :01:06.ammunition. Don't touch them. Let me think, I'm
:01:07. > :01:09.not shy. Standing ovation out there today. Darcey said that you've
:01:10. > :01:13.really come out of your shell and you look like you're having fun.
:01:14. > :01:17.Were you? I feel more at home out there now I can throw someone
:01:18. > :01:22.around. The strength, those lifts were incredibly dangerous. A lot of
:01:23. > :01:25.trust there. Yes. A lot of hard work. He's a strong guy, he can
:01:26. > :01:27.handle it. It takes a strong guy all the way up there, impressive. The
:01:28. > :01:54.scores are in: You enjoyed that dance. You thought
:01:55. > :02:02.that might be a dance, that's your highest score to date. Call from a
:02:03. > :02:07.mobile or land line. Or you can vote online if you want to see Ben and
:02:08. > :02:13.Kristina tackle another dance next week. As well as going online to
:02:14. > :02:16.vote you can catch up with the back stage shenanigans on Twitter and
:02:17. > :02:24.Facebook. For our next couple Deborah Meaden
:02:25. > :02:30.and Robin Windsor. Now, tonight she's doing the jive. I
:02:31. > :02:38.think that's a big mistake. I mean, when she's on Dragon's Den, she
:02:39. > :02:43.says, "I'm in" Or "I'm out" Why don't they give her the Hokey Cokey?
:02:44. > :02:50.She'd get four tens for that. I wish I could do that again. Never mind.
:02:51. > :02:55.You see, it's live television. If it were recorded, I could do it again.
:02:56. > :02:59.Never mind, here they are in training.
:03:00. > :03:07.I really enjoyed the quickstep. I got a standing ovation. I cannot
:03:08. > :03:11.believe this. It's amazing. You put a smile on my face, darling. I
:03:12. > :03:14.really enjoyed that. I was so chuffed with Craig's comment.
:03:15. > :03:20.There's a first time for everything. Your best dance to date, my lovely.
:03:21. > :03:25.I'm hanging onto the judges' every word. Because the important thing is
:03:26. > :03:36.I get better. This week I'm doing the jive. Robin has taught me --
:03:37. > :03:41.talked me into dancing to Bucks Fizz Making Your Mind. I'm having a great
:03:42. > :03:45.time dancing, but I am still quite inhibited. The nation at home are
:03:46. > :03:48.thinking, please don't take this skirt off. If you're not feeling the
:03:49. > :03:52.vibe of Eurovision, there's only one way to make that happen. I think we
:03:53. > :04:00.should have a little Eurovision party. This is a perfect idea. Oh,
:04:01. > :04:02.look. We watched the original Eurovision Song Contest. It really
:04:03. > :04:10.reminded me what this dance was all about. Here's the moment. Oh, my
:04:11. > :04:13.goodness. By the end of it, I was getting it. I hope it's a ten and
:04:14. > :06:14.not nil poi. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:06:15. > :06:22.Well done, Deborah. Are you all right, darling. Don't talk to me. I
:06:23. > :06:26.won't. But it was lovely. Darcey, start us off. That's a hard dance.
:06:27. > :06:33.You have to have sharp kicks, energy, bounce. It was a little
:06:34. > :06:37.soft. I'm sorry. I missed your confident self. It just wasn't your
:06:38. > :06:41.dance. There is always one. But it just wasn't yours. But you have so
:06:42. > :06:47.much enthusiasm and I know you can come back stronger next week.
:06:48. > :06:52.There you are, some dances suit. Len? Bucks Fizz, you know it had
:06:53. > :06:57.plenty of fizz, you have to buck your feet up. There just wasn't the
:06:58. > :07:01.technique there. You went wrong a couple of times. I love you, like
:07:02. > :07:05.Darcey says, I love your enthusiasm. I like the way you come out. You
:07:06. > :07:08.have a brilliant smile. You are giving it plenty. You just need to
:07:09. > :07:13.work on the technique a bit. She gives her all. You got the
:07:14. > :07:17.Eurovision camp right, I tell you that. It was light hearted fun. But
:07:18. > :07:20.they're right, basically the technique wasn't strong enough in
:07:21. > :07:28.this dance. You'll come back and do better. In other dances, she's been
:07:29. > :07:35.wonderful. There was no real spring in your steps. The kicks were very,
:07:36. > :07:38.very lame. They weren't pointed the foot or anything. The ball changes
:07:39. > :07:47.were flat footed unfortunately. Not your dance. I loved it. I had a
:07:48. > :07:52.lovely time. You've done the jive. Who can take that away? Off you go!
:07:53. > :08:12.Come on over you two. Something's changed about you Robin, is it the
:08:13. > :08:15.beard? My pants. Definitely the beard. What are the judges saying,
:08:16. > :08:18.it wasn't your dance. When you were in the Dragon's Den, did you imagine
:08:19. > :08:24.you'd be getting your skirt whipped off in front of ten million people?
:08:25. > :08:28.Good heavens no. But things might change in the den from now on. You
:08:29. > :08:33.were nervous about the jive. I was. I love fast dances, but I kind of
:08:34. > :08:35.felt I was struggling with this one. I still had a great time. The scores
:08:36. > :08:59.are in: What do you think, voting couldn't
:09:00. > :09:01.be easier call from your mobile or land line or you can vote on the
:09:02. > :09:14.website. The beard and hair, that's
:09:15. > :09:18.distracting. Voting isn't open yet. Don't take long making your mind up.
:09:19. > :09:21.There are still five couples left to dance. Have you heard this lot? Back
:09:22. > :09:30.to you. For our next couple Natalie Gumede
:09:31. > :09:34.and her partner, Artem Chigvintsev. This week, Natalie suffered an
:09:35. > :09:39.injury to her back and had to stop training for two days. I'm glad to
:09:40. > :09:44.say, she's back on her feet, but has she recovered enough to dance the
:09:45. > :09:49.energetic quickstep? Here's exactly what happened.
:09:50. > :09:55.I was absolutely thrilled that our dance was so well received on
:09:56. > :10:01.Saturday. It felt fantastic. Fabulous. Love, love, love. To get
:10:02. > :10:07.the feed back from the audience and then from the judges, we were so
:10:08. > :10:10.blown away. Good job. Thank you. That Saturday night is the best
:10:11. > :10:18.feeling in the world. It's not something I want to end just yet.
:10:19. > :10:23.This week, we are dancing the quickstep. It's so quick. There's a
:10:24. > :10:30.lot that can go wrong. During training things took a turn for the
:10:31. > :10:35.worse. I started having really bad trouble with my back. The pain soon
:10:36. > :10:43.became unbearable and we had to go to the doctor. I was really scared.
:10:44. > :10:47.After lots of tests, they found a bulging disc in my spine. I don't
:10:48. > :10:52.want to let Artem down and I don't want to miss out on the most
:10:53. > :10:58.enjoyable experience I've ever had. I was terrified that I had to pull
:10:59. > :11:01.out of the competition. But I've been prescribed pain killers. I'm
:11:02. > :11:04.back dancing. The lack of rehearsal was a worry. I just hope my back
:11:05. > :12:57.holds out on the night. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:12:58. > :13:08.Well done indeed. What a great routine. There it is. That says it
:13:09. > :13:13.all. A great routine. Are you all right? Are you feeling OK? Thank
:13:14. > :13:18.you. You should be after that. It was a bit long winded getting
:13:19. > :13:22.started, if I'm honest. Once you got - well it was. What do you want me
:13:23. > :13:26.to say. Look behind you. I'm not worried about them. The part in hold
:13:27. > :13:32.I liked very much. I just thought it was too long before you got cracking
:13:33. > :13:39.and you stopped in hold too short. It was too long at the front and the
:13:40. > :13:47.back. The bit in hold I thought was great. I'm just telling them! Right,
:13:48. > :13:53.Bruno? I can't believe you delivered a dance of this standard in such a
:13:54. > :13:57.short time. I love the jazzy feel. It was like watching quickstep as
:13:58. > :14:02.the main attraction at the cotton club. I mean, it was just like being
:14:03. > :14:07.there with you. You capture the spirit of the dance so well. And
:14:08. > :14:10.some of the musical nuances, the jazzy turns, I thought it was
:14:11. > :14:17.wonderful. So did I.
:14:18. > :14:21.Just two days of training, I mean, Craig, what did you think? I agree,
:14:22. > :14:25.I loved the fusion of quickstep and jazz. I thought that was done
:14:26. > :14:29.immaculately well. There is no stopping you, darling. Stunning.
:14:30. > :14:33.And the whole dance was to the music.
:14:34. > :14:38.The boys are right, the style was just perfect. It was so nice. And so
:14:39. > :14:42.much dance content. But what you've been through this week, with missing
:14:43. > :14:46.out and having that problem, you could have afforded not to have so
:14:47. > :14:49.much, and I know it's hard, you could have cut some things and it
:14:50. > :14:54.would still have been fabulous. We want you to last, OK? You have to
:14:55. > :15:01.get through this show. So don't be too ambitious.
:15:02. > :15:04.Look at yourself. That means a lot. Off you go. It was great! What a
:15:05. > :15:20.routine. Come on my darling, another standing
:15:21. > :15:25.ovation and another show stopping routine from our Natalie. Like Craig
:15:26. > :15:29.said, there is no stopping you. You have had problems tonight. How did
:15:30. > :15:33.the back feel tonight? Wonderful. I was so happy to be here. I've had
:15:34. > :15:37.fantastic care from Strictly this week and I couldn't be more
:15:38. > :15:39.grateful. I'm so thrilled to be dancing with this man. I'm delighted
:15:40. > :15:43.that I'm part of this experience. You didn't look like you were
:15:44. > :15:45.feeling any pain. You looked like you were loving every moment. Pure
:15:46. > :16:14.musical theatre. The scores are in: Wonderful score! She's high as a
:16:15. > :16:24.kite, sheer adrenaline, nothing to do with medication. The number to
:16:25. > :16:28.call when voting opens later: or go online. Natalie and Artem may be
:16:29. > :16:31.riding high with the judges but they need your votes if they're to stay
:16:32. > :16:37.in the competition. Coming up, abbey and Aljaz are limb perking up for
:16:38. > :16:41.their -- limbering up for their fierce tango.
:16:42. > :16:46.Who's next? Only one man has the answer, Bruce.
:16:47. > :16:55.Next tonight is Patrick Robinson and his partner Anya Garnis.
:16:56. > :17:01.Last week, Craig and Len said Patrick had style and panache. Style
:17:02. > :17:06.and panache, I'm so glad I'm not the only one.
:17:07. > :17:14.Get out! Any way, here they are in training.
:17:15. > :17:21.The moment before you perform is quite nervewracking and then there's
:17:22. > :17:26.a freedom. It's a very difficult dance. I thought it had an ease
:17:27. > :17:33.Andrew elegance about it. You are style, you really are.
:17:34. > :17:39.It's great. You had it all. This week we're dancing the cha cha. It's
:17:40. > :17:43.been pretty tricky. Rehearsing Strictly and obviously working on
:17:44. > :17:47.Casualty takes its toll. I know he's working all the time. And he's
:17:48. > :17:51.trying to do this as well. I'll have my head full of lines instead of
:17:52. > :17:56.moves. I'm inviting Anya to the set and see me do my day job. I'm here
:17:57. > :18:04.on the set and I'm super excited to see Patrick in his element. It's
:18:05. > :18:10.been great having Anya here to see exactly what I do. How do you do it?
:18:11. > :18:15.When I'm just about to do the dance, it goes like this. He's wonderful,
:18:16. > :18:22.but he should point his feet more. Go on Patrick. Everyone enjoyed our
:18:23. > :18:28.doing the routine on set. Good luck tonight. Good luck. Good luck, meat.
:18:29. > :18:35.-- Mate. Hopefully I can do everyone on set proud. (
:18:36. > :20:20.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Well done, the pair of you. That was
:20:21. > :20:29.great. You were right, you did say panache.
:20:30. > :20:34.I thought it was pan-acky. No need for mercy because you do a mean cha
:20:35. > :20:43.cha. I tell you, very sensual, very ridge makal. I -- rhymical. I loved
:20:44. > :20:51.the smacking. Your best dance yet. Good job.
:20:52. > :21:02.She teases you. Absolutely brilliant. Oh! Don't kiss him, it's
:21:03. > :21:08.been done. Is that all? That's enough. Darcey? Patrick, you are so
:21:09. > :21:13.confident out of hold, you just, it suits you. Just watch when you look
:21:14. > :21:17.at Anya, you look down at her. Just look down your nose at her. You have
:21:18. > :21:30.an inner groove and I'm loving it. Len? It's happy hour. You're happy.
:21:31. > :21:34.I'm happy. The audience is happy. I'm telling you what, you were
:21:35. > :21:41.steaming, I was beaming. That is your best dance! Off you go! That's
:21:42. > :22:05.wonderful. Well done, both of you. Best dance ever. She's unzipping
:22:06. > :22:11.him. Your best dance ever said Len and one word from Craig "brilliant"
:22:12. > :22:15.that's rare indeed. Fantastic. This is your favourite dance isn't it?
:22:16. > :22:19.It's the best one so far. He enjoyed that. We loved it up
:22:20. > :22:23.here. Of course, you were dancing with your cast this week, what do
:22:24. > :22:29.they make of it? They seemed to enjoy it. There was a big round of
:22:30. > :22:31.applause after it. I bet they loved the party tonight because you got it
:22:32. > :23:01.started. The scores are in: 33! Yes. Patrick and yawn are
:23:02. > :23:06.begging you for -- and Anya are begging you for mercy and your vote.
:23:07. > :23:12.Call to vote or you can vote online. If you have itchy voting fingers, we
:23:13. > :23:16.only have three couples left to dance vm
:23:17. > :23:24.Our next couple is Abbey Clancy and her partner, Aljaz Skorjanec.
:23:25. > :23:30.Abbey's turned out to be a really good sport, in order to prepare
:23:31. > :23:36.herself for the rigours of the tango, she took part in a muddy army
:23:37. > :23:40.assault course. Sounds more like Dirty Dancing to me. Any way, she
:23:41. > :23:47.really is a good sport. Well done, darling. Here they are in training.
:23:48. > :23:53.I'm feeling good after last week's show. I've had two fast dances now.
:23:54. > :23:58.They're not my favourite. I thought you lacked a bit of attack. She had
:23:59. > :24:01.attack. To be honest, I did completely agree with what Craig
:24:02. > :24:07.said. I've got to go for it even more. I'm definitely going to work
:24:08. > :24:13.on that this week. This week is tango. The routine will be quite
:24:14. > :24:17.fast. Oh, that kills. I need to help you get in your -- getting your
:24:18. > :24:25.physical strength and stamina. It kills my belly. Where are you taking
:24:26. > :24:28.many e? To -- Where are you taking me? To the assault course. We got
:24:29. > :24:34.comments last weekend, that you don't give enough attack. Your core
:24:35. > :24:42.needs to be more engaged. Give me "Yes, sir!" Sir, yes, sir. Foot
:24:43. > :24:52.work. What do you say? Sir, yes, sir. Come on! You need to get into
:24:53. > :24:58.the spirit of things. Come on. Use your core. Think of the tango,
:24:59. > :24:59.come on. I'm impressed with you. I'm pretty sure you're ready for
:25:00. > :26:57.Saturday. High five. I nearly forgot to come down, I was
:26:58. > :27:01.so enthralled. Well done. The assault course as well. Craig, what
:27:02. > :27:06.did you think? You used all the accents in the music to absolutely
:27:07. > :27:13.brilliant effect. Great use of the floor, I thought. Some fantastic,
:27:14. > :27:22.sharp, that catto moves. -- stacatto moves. It had intent and purpose. I
:27:23. > :27:26.thought it was a--maz-ing. It was beautiful. Quick looks and
:27:27. > :27:29.everything. Darcey? I was not expecting that from you. Your
:27:30. > :27:35.shaping especially and your top line. You played a sexy, cool tango.
:27:36. > :27:39.Very nicely done and very nice, clipped edges every time you change
:27:40. > :27:48.direction. Great strength throughout. Wonderful.
:27:49. > :27:55.Len? In ballroom, I'm telling you, you are a formidable couple. I'm
:27:56. > :28:00.telling you. That was full, snap, crackle, pop, full on, punchy,
:28:01. > :28:07.dynamic. I tell you what, that was terrific tango. Well done.
:28:08. > :28:14.Surprised us all. Bruno? Power, drama, passion, beauty, you had it
:28:15. > :28:19.all. And it was snappier than the crack of a whip. I thought I was
:28:20. > :28:24.getting whiplash just watching you. The two of you together, it takes
:28:25. > :28:28.two to tango, and the mixture and the chemistry between you two it
:28:29. > :28:32.really is wonderful to see. You really use each other beautifully,
:28:33. > :28:38.carry on, because I love it. I love watching you.
:28:39. > :28:47.You've done it. Go on, up the stairs.
:28:48. > :28:55.APPLAUSE Wow. Look at her face. She can't
:28:56. > :28:58.believe it. I think everyone is stepping it up a gear. That was
:28:59. > :29:10.incredible. How do you feel after that passionate performance? Great,
:29:11. > :29:15.yeah. Great, yeah. Craig said it was a-maz-img. -- ing. Did it help to
:29:16. > :29:19.get into character. Definitely. We worked on the core strength and it
:29:20. > :29:25.showed. Is boot camp part of your normal morning routine? Not usually!
:29:26. > :29:29.Mud wrestling with Aljaz. Must have been utter hell (! ) The scores are
:29:30. > :29:54.in: Three nines there, well done. Did
:29:55. > :30:00.that tango light your fire? If so, call from your mobile or a land
:30:01. > :30:04.line. Or can you go online when voting opens later in the show, if
:30:05. > :30:08.you want abbey and Aljaz to avoid the drama of the dance-off. It's
:30:09. > :30:12.hotting up in here. Are you ready for more?
:30:13. > :30:25.Our next couple is TV chef Dave Myers and his partner, Karen Hauer.
:30:26. > :30:31.When a character. Any way, Dave is dancing a waltz to a lovely song by
:30:32. > :30:37.The Eagles. I said to him, "Do you like The Eagles? He said, "Yes, but
:30:38. > :30:48.they do take a bit of cooking." It's the beak and all those wings. I was
:30:49. > :30:52.ecstatic with my performance on Saturday night. When I walked off
:30:53. > :30:58.that dance floor, to what I believe was one of the biggest standing
:30:59. > :31:03.ovations in Strictly history. We were glowing, until we saw Craig's
:31:04. > :31:07.face. It's like a bulldog eating pickles. The comments do deflate you
:31:08. > :31:12.somewhat. I'm working as hard as I can. I'm getting the steps right.
:31:13. > :31:18.I'm trying to get the performance into the dance. What more can I do?
:31:19. > :31:22.I never thought that hairy old me could immerse themselves in a world
:31:23. > :31:28.of sequins, fake tans. Your hair is just... Dave's loving his Strictly
:31:29. > :31:33.experience. I will do whatever it takes to get through. There's only
:31:34. > :31:38.one thing for it and that's Strictly vacation.
:31:39. > :31:49.Why am I here? We need the smoothness. Elegance. No part left
:31:50. > :31:57.unnoticed. Your feet to be strictlified. I wouldn't wish these
:31:58. > :31:59.trotters on anybody. I feel lick a flaming labrador. If this doesn't
:32:00. > :34:01.win the judges over, nothing will. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:34:02. > :34:06.A new Dave. Yes. Very Deb fair. Karen has taken me and buffed me to
:34:07. > :34:11.on livion. I hope it worked. We'll soon find out. Darcey? You started
:34:12. > :34:17.really well. It was, I'm loving the clean look, really perfect for the
:34:18. > :34:21.waltz. You do have lovely elegant, long limbs. You just have to use
:34:22. > :34:26.them. Soften those knees and travel. That's what I was missing. I know
:34:27. > :34:30.you've worked hard. One thing that would help this posture, for me, go
:34:31. > :34:34.and try a ballet class and see if we can get this posture right when
:34:35. > :34:40.you're in hold. That's the only thing letting you do you -- down.
:34:41. > :34:47.Not bad. I shall be on the rail. You have
:34:48. > :34:51.truly titivated yourself up a treat. I really think you have. On
:34:52. > :34:57.Strictly, the only failure is the failure to try. And what I love
:34:58. > :35:08.about you - you try your hardest every week. Yes, you do my darling,
:35:09. > :35:12.you scrub it very well, almost unrecognisable. There's a ray of
:35:13. > :35:16.hope on the horizon, because what you did, it was still very, very
:35:17. > :35:20.minimal, but it did look like a waltz and you tried hard to keep
:35:21. > :35:24.your posture and do the foot work. Of course, it didn't travel. It was
:35:25. > :35:28.stuck on the point. But it is better. That's the way to go. There
:35:29. > :35:35.is improvement. Exactly. Well, there you are. Now
:35:36. > :35:39.then, Craig? It was for me all very placed. You need to feel the music a
:35:40. > :35:45.lot more. You need to really listen to the music and try tone joy -- try
:35:46. > :35:48.to enjoy dancing with the music it. There was gapping going on. There
:35:49. > :35:52.needs to be more movement. But it's nice to see the serious Dave. I
:35:53. > :35:56.really enjoyed that. I'd say that was your personal best.
:35:57. > :36:01.Thanks Craig. That's lovely. You're still my favourite.
:36:02. > :36:07.Thank you Sir Bruce. Off you go. Well done indeed.
:36:08. > :36:26.Look at you! Not so Hairy Biker. No. I'm groomed. Is this hay change of
:36:27. > :36:32.image on -- is this a change of image on the cards? It might be. And
:36:33. > :36:35.you have lipstick on your cheek. As only a man like me should. Of
:36:36. > :36:39.course. You have worked really hard. You really want this, to be taken
:36:40. > :36:43.seriously. Oh, yes. I've always worked hard at the dancing. I think
:36:44. > :36:47.it would be a discredit to Karen the amount of effort and work she's put
:36:48. > :36:51.in with me to be sloppy with it. Are you proud of him? You're amazing. I
:36:52. > :36:54.love you, really. I think I love you too.
:36:55. > :37:22.The scores are in: Safe to say, very, very happy.
:37:23. > :37:26.That's your personal best score. That's lovely. Thank you very much
:37:27. > :37:30.and I do appreciate it. Thank you. I love him so much. That's what the
:37:31. > :37:35.judges thought. But your votes mean even more to Dave than mere judges'
:37:36. > :37:39.paddles. Yes, I think I do need them.
:37:40. > :37:48.Call from your mobile or a landline. Or you can vote online to keep Dave
:37:49. > :37:54.and Karen out of the dance-off. Just one couple left. Who is it?
:37:55. > :38:05.Well, I tell you who it is: Our final couple is Susanna Reid and her
:38:06. > :38:10.partner, Kevin from Grimsby. Now, Susanna has been rehearsing her
:38:11. > :38:15.dance steps in her sleep. I said, "But you're such a busy woman, when
:38:16. > :38:27.do you get time to sleep? She said, "When you're on." Aawww. Here they
:38:28. > :38:31.are aaawww in training. It felt lovely to dance the Viennese
:38:32. > :38:38.waltz. It was surprisingly emotional. I'm in love with that
:38:39. > :38:43.Viennese waltz. Every week you get better and better. Amazing. Through
:38:44. > :38:51.to another week on Strictly. I'm so glad. I enjoy it so, so much. This
:38:52. > :38:54.week, we are dancing the samba. It just feels like I've got something
:38:55. > :38:57.dislocated in my hip. There's a lot of opportunity to feel
:38:58. > :39:01.self-conscious. Don't think about it. Have a good time with it. My
:39:02. > :39:06.three boys are my biggest supporters. They do a mock judging
:39:07. > :39:09.panel at home with teddies. Ten! I was worried they might be
:39:10. > :39:14.embarrassed especially with the samba. I thought it would be great
:39:15. > :39:18.to get them in the training room and ask their advice. They were full of
:39:19. > :39:23.enthusiasm, hugely supportive and lots of great advice. I think maybe
:39:24. > :39:29.your steps could be a bit better. You need to give it a bit more
:39:30. > :39:36.oomph. I think that was brilliant. The foot work, the power, the
:39:37. > :39:40.energy, all of it, brilliant! Eight. Eight. 10! Seeing my boys and
:39:41. > :39:43.hearing their positive comments about the dancing that's really
:39:44. > :39:49.going to give me the boost to nail this one.
:39:50. > :41:40.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Well, what about that? What about it
:41:41. > :41:45.Susanna! That was wonderful. Your three little boys, oh, they're so
:41:46. > :41:51.lovely. The judging was great. I tell you what, Len? You should be
:41:52. > :41:57.ashamed of yourself, a nice girl like you, off the breakfast news
:41:58. > :42:02.coming out, all bounce, bum and bongos! This is before the water
:42:03. > :42:06.shed, you know. You can't come out flaunting your sl like that. Dear
:42:07. > :42:11.Lord. I nearly had a palpitation. Honestly. I thought you came out and
:42:12. > :42:17.gave it plenty of attack. A little bit messy here and there. But I tell
:42:18. > :42:22.you what, it was good. You've developed into a lovely
:42:23. > :42:28.little mover. Bruno? If you got it, flaunt it, darling. Don't worry.
:42:29. > :42:33.Sexy, saucy Susanna let her hair down. You were going for it like a
:42:34. > :42:39.fury, any time, anywhere, any place. If you can keep up with me. It was
:42:40. > :42:42.hard keeping up with you. You put so much energy into that dance. At
:42:43. > :42:47.times your finish was a little bit messy. So maintain that performance
:42:48. > :42:52.level, but don't lose the finish, because you usually have a very
:42:53. > :42:56.clean delivery. Tonight it was a bit muddy at the edges, but I loved the
:42:57. > :43:03.flow of it. Beautiful. How about Craig? I
:43:04. > :43:07.thought it was a bit muddy actually. I felt, at times, you were fighting
:43:08. > :43:11.one another and going against one another, which wasn't helping any of
:43:12. > :43:16.your rolls or anything like that together. I feel it lost impact. I
:43:17. > :43:21.feel like you're losing your neck at times as well. Also, I think you can
:43:22. > :43:25.go further. I know that sounds odd, but like the hip movements, for
:43:26. > :43:32.instance, at the top, you could have done a much broader hip movement up
:43:33. > :43:37.there and you know what, it's just OK. I want to see you go a lot
:43:38. > :43:40.further. It just feels like it's fitting in the middle ground at the
:43:41. > :43:46.moment. Let's see what Darcey thinks. I like
:43:47. > :43:51.the wild samba queen. You were going for it. It is true there was a
:43:52. > :43:55.couple of messy bits. On your running promenades you have to
:43:56. > :44:00.straighten the back leg and just the finishes. They're a little bit
:44:01. > :44:02.fuzzy. But I really enjoy your energy and you go for it, which is
:44:03. > :44:06.great. She does. She really does. You're
:44:07. > :44:07.marvellous. I can't wait to hear what your boys
:44:08. > :44:25.think. Off you go! APPLAUSE
:44:26. > :44:32.Another standing ovation, you wild samba queen, you! Save me! Was it
:44:33. > :44:35.nervewracking going out there and shaking your thing in front of
:44:36. > :44:42.millions? Yeah, it was for me, a bit, yeah. Yeah, but you know what,
:44:43. > :44:47.I said to my kids, are you going to worry about me doing that? They said
:44:48. > :44:52.you're only on Strictly once, don't waste it being embarrassed. I see
:44:53. > :44:56.you as a bit after I Wonder Woman. You have three beautiful boys and
:44:57. > :45:00.then going out there and doing that, how are you coping? Well, you just
:45:01. > :45:04.keep going. It's all great fun. I love being at home with the family
:45:05. > :45:09.and I love dancing. We love watching you dance with Kevin from grimesy.
:45:10. > :45:13.Now Kevin, not a lot of people might know this, but you have great
:45:14. > :45:18.ballroom pedigree. You come from a family of ballroom dancers. Your mum
:45:19. > :45:22.and dad former champions. Yes, my mum and dad former world champions.
:45:23. > :45:26.My sister is the best in the world at the moment. I'm the black sheep
:45:27. > :45:29.at the moment. He's my hero. I imagine they're proud of your
:45:30. > :45:46.performances. The scores are in:
:45:47. > :46:06.That's more like it, Len and Bruno. Great dance. Call to vote: Or you
:46:07. > :46:10.can vote online. That's it. All 13 couples have danced. Was it unlucky
:46:11. > :46:33.for some? Let's look at the leaderboard.

:46:44. > :46:59.and voting for your favourite. And voting is open!

:51:17. > :51:19.counts, which means if you don't want to see your favourites leave
