:00:51. > :03:15.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:03:16. > :03:35.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE This is Strictly Come Dancing: The Results.
:03:36. > :03:45.Please welcome your hosts, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
:03:46. > :03:48.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Good evening and welcome to Strictly Come
:03:49. > :03:53.Dancing: The Results. Thank you. What a brilliant opening from our
:03:54. > :03:58.professional dancers. On Saturday night our remaining couples took to
:03:59. > :04:05.the floor. We saw some fantastic dances and at one point seven of
:04:06. > :04:09.them at the same time, as we enjoyed some quickstep-a-thon. One couple
:04:10. > :04:17.must take their final curtain call tonight. The judges scores and your
:04:18. > :04:21.votes have been combined. The decision of who will dance another
:04:22. > :04:32.day is down to our fabulous four. It is time to welcome the judges.
:04:33. > :04:44.Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli. Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell.
:04:45. > :04:55.APPLAUSE Thank you very much, judges. Gorgeous, Darcey. Smoking!
:04:56. > :05:00.We have music from Adam Lambert plus Il Divo will be performing. Yes!
:05:01. > :05:06.I will be discussing Saturday's double dance action with the judges
:05:07. > :05:09.in Len's Lens. Let's remind ourselves of the drama from Saturday
:05:10. > :05:22.night. APPLAUSE
:05:23. > :05:31.It is week ten and they have two dances to accomplish. Who will
:05:32. > :05:37.conquer and who will fall? This week has been quite hard learning two
:05:38. > :05:40.dances. The quickstep-a-thon is not merely for show, it means whether or
:05:41. > :05:45.not you are going to be here next week. Who knows what is going to
:05:46. > :05:49.happen on the night. It has been extra busy. Everyone is practising
:05:50. > :05:52.in every spare second. It is the quarterfinals, and everyone would
:05:53. > :05:58.love to be there, and it is getting a little bit tense. It is all about
:05:59. > :06:01.tonight and doing this dance now. 30 seconds to show time. I tell you
:06:02. > :06:12.what ladies and gentlemen, it is going to be a bumpy ride!
:06:13. > :06:16.APPLAUSE You are bionic, flying about. You
:06:17. > :06:28.rock, kid! You are such a treasure to watch.
:06:29. > :06:33.The little pocket rockets. What a dynamic routine. Fantastic. It was a
:06:34. > :06:40.little bit too aggressive for me, but a lovely performance. They were
:06:41. > :06:44.like two courting s fire flies. You come out of your special lift a
:06:45. > :06:59.little bit wobbly, but other than that, I saw nothing, but fabulous.
:07:00. > :07:03.Nine. Lacked a little swing, lacked a little sway. I thought he were
:07:04. > :07:10.holding back. Everything has to flow. I wasn't really transported to
:07:11. > :07:13.the quayside. You wobbled out of that spin. You lost your balance and
:07:14. > :07:18.you're picking your feet up too much. Apart from that darling, it
:07:19. > :07:30.was wonderful. Drop dead gorgeous!
:07:31. > :07:36.Nine. It was a little bit spiky for my liking. You did a difficulty and
:07:37. > :07:45.you're not supposed to. What is all that through the legs business? For
:07:46. > :07:50.me it was a polished. It is not my cup of tea. That was a mango of a
:07:51. > :07:56.tango! Delicious! So strong. So compelling. So focussed. You are
:07:57. > :08:07.just working as one. That was my favourite dance. That's the thing.
:08:08. > :08:13.Lovely movement across the floor. The story telling I have to say was
:08:14. > :08:20.gorgeous. That close to perfection. This was a
:08:21. > :08:32.match made in heaven. It looked weightless as if you were dancing on
:08:33. > :08:39.a cloud. Ten! Please welcome all the couples to the floor for the
:08:40. > :08:44.quickstep-a-thon. It is like a F1 Grand Prix to music. Whoever comes
:08:45. > :08:48.first in the quickstep-a-thon will second an extra seven marks until
:08:49. > :08:53.the bottom couple will receive just the one extra mark and those will be
:08:54. > :08:56.added to their existing scores. There are so many things to be taken
:08:57. > :09:01.into consideration. The variety of steps, if they keep the timing, if
:09:02. > :09:07.he is smooth. They have done an amazing job the you consider when we
:09:08. > :09:16.first saw them. APPLAUSE
:09:17. > :09:23.Second is Georgia and Giovanni Pernice. Our winners are Helen and
:09:24. > :09:28.Aljaz. It will be an incredible night.
:09:29. > :09:36.Let's remind you of the leaderboard. At the top we have got Helen and
:09:37. > :09:45.Aljaz and at the bottom is Peter and Janette. All of our couples want to
:09:46. > :09:50.be in next week's quarterfinals, whose Strictly final could be
:09:51. > :09:53.nearing an end? The results are in. In no particular order, the first
:09:54. > :10:12.couple safely through to next week is... Georgia and Giovanni.
:10:13. > :10:23.Yes! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Thank you!
:10:24. > :10:47.Thank you! Also returning are... Helen and
:10:48. > :10:50.Aljaz. APPLAUSE
:10:51. > :11:04.And now the first couple who must fight for survival in the dance-off
:11:05. > :11:08.is... Kellie and Kevin. The rest of you will have to wait a
:11:09. > :11:15.little bit longer to find out if you're safe. Kellie and Kevin,
:11:16. > :11:19.please come and join me. APPLAUSE
:11:20. > :11:23.I'm so sorry. It is OK. I know you've been here once before and I
:11:24. > :11:25.know how much you want to be in the quarterfinals next week. How are you
:11:26. > :11:31.feeling? I'm feeling all right. I'm feeling all right. At this point in
:11:32. > :11:36.the competition, everyone is so strong and you know, our place on
:11:37. > :11:39.the leaderboard changed quite dramatically after the
:11:40. > :11:44.quickstep-a-thon. I was sort of ready in my head. It is tough, isn't
:11:45. > :11:48.it? It is so, so close. Let's get some advice from the judges. Len on
:11:49. > :11:52.Saturday night you said that Kellie's lifts were a little bit
:11:53. > :11:58.wobbly, so what do you suggest to improve them in the dance-off? One
:11:59. > :12:02.of the lifts was a little bit wobble bleu foffly, I thought your salsa
:12:03. > :12:09.was fantastic. Don't do anything different, just come out and do it
:12:10. > :12:11.again because it was brilliant. APPLAUSE
:12:12. > :12:15.We will all be rooting for you later on. Best of luck, darling. Let's see
:12:16. > :12:25.the salsa again. Claudia, over to you. Thank you, Tess. It is getting
:12:26. > :12:30.so much quieter up here. You are through to next week's
:12:31. > :12:35.quarterfinals. We are just working so hard. I just want to make people
:12:36. > :12:40.proud and to get through to the quarterfinals is amazing. Oh really
:12:41. > :12:45.well done and it is our musical special. You have a little cry. I
:12:46. > :12:49.will talk to him! Huge congratulations because this is your
:12:50. > :12:51.year on Strictly and you're through to the quarterfinals.
:12:52. > :13:03.APPLAUSE And you're doing a foxtrot.
:13:04. > :13:09.You are the best. It is like a dream come true. Really well done. Cudding
:13:10. > :13:14.her. Thank you very much. You did brilliantly on Saturday night. Three
:13:15. > :13:16.tens. I can't believe it. APPLAUSE
:13:17. > :13:24.It is fantastic. Are you ready for next week? Do you think you are? Are
:13:25. > :13:27.you looking forward to getting into the training room? We have enjoyed
:13:28. > :13:32.ourselves and taken the pressure off and worked hard and enjoyed it as
:13:33. > :13:35.well. The standard is just ridiculously high, you know, to be
:13:36. > :13:40.into the quarterfinal, it is incredible. Well, congratulations to
:13:41. > :13:43.both couples. It is time for some music. Singing Another Lonely Night.
:13:44. > :14:13.Please go nuts for Adam Lambert. # Alone in the dark, hole in my
:14:14. > :14:21.heart, turn on the radio. # And the words fall out, but they
:14:22. > :14:29.got no place to go. # Wasted on you, high on the fumes.
:14:30. > :14:33.# Know I should let you go. # But the world won't stop.
:14:34. > :14:40.# And all I got is your ghost, oh, oh oh.
:14:41. > :14:54.# Another day, another lonely night. # I would do anything to have you by
:14:55. > :15:01.my side. # No time to sleep, all that I see,
:15:02. > :15:05.are old memories of you. # Yeah I try my best, but there's no
:15:06. > :15:17.one left for me to lose. # Tear in my eye, I drive through
:15:18. > :15:20.the night, as far as I can from you. # And I don't care if the sun comes
:15:21. > :15:29.up, yeah. # It's just another...
:15:30. > :15:36.# Another day, another lonely night. # I would do anything to have you by
:15:37. > :15:45.my side. # Another day, another lonely night.
:15:46. > :16:03.# Don't wanna throw away another lonely life.
:16:04. > :16:12.# No I don't give a damn if the sun comes up, yeah.
:16:13. > :16:21.# It's just another... # Another day, another lonely night.
:16:22. > :16:36.# I would do anything to have you by my side.
:16:37. > :16:38.# Another day, another lonely night. # Don't wanna throw away another
:16:39. > :17:14.lonely life. # It is now time to welcome dance
:17:15. > :17:27.royalty, it's # I got rhythm... Thank you so much.
:17:28. > :17:30.It's the judges. This is when we expand on things you might have said
:17:31. > :17:53.on Saturday night. Could we do it alone? No! Let's welcome Len's Lens.
:17:54. > :18:12.I would like to talk to you this is how the professionals work. Yes,
:18:13. > :18:17.lovely jubbly. Let me talk to you about Peter and Janette. They came
:18:18. > :18:34.bottom on the quickstep-a-thon, why? The footwork was floppy and flappy.
:18:35. > :18:37.Darcey, let's talk about Helen and Aljaz because you said almost
:18:38. > :18:41.perfection. Here they are from Saturday night. Well, we have to
:18:42. > :18:44.have the acting skills to pull it off. It is not just about the
:18:45. > :18:48.technique and she brought everything to it, but things are never going to
:18:49. > :19:00.be perfect. We have to keep trying and keep working on things.
:19:01. > :19:10.They were absolutely gorgeous. Craig, the tango was wonderful,
:19:11. > :19:15.Len's Lens was looking at his face. That is a great tango face. He has
:19:16. > :19:16.come out of his shell and his acting skills have improved enormously
:19:17. > :19:26.since he first started. I have been rabbiting on for weeks
:19:27. > :19:30.about getting emotion in the dance routines and now he is committing to
:19:31. > :19:39.it 100% and it is fantastic to see, it makes the dance fly. Anita and
:19:40. > :19:43.Gleb, quite a few kerfuffles, one of you said it was smooth, one of you
:19:44. > :19:52.said it was spiky. Why did you love it? I thought she was on it from the
:19:53. > :20:04.beginning. Look at that. She moves excellently. Perfection. Just
:20:05. > :20:09.flowing. Let's show another clip. Craig, you said it was spiky. I felt
:20:10. > :20:18.the arms were not reaching the point of focus. She wasn't retracting, it
:20:19. > :20:25.was like taking it out, Spike... The intention, I thought, Bruno, forgive
:20:26. > :20:32.me... There was too much power behind each move. It was expressing
:20:33. > :20:36.the music as well, though. I don't want another argument otherwise I
:20:37. > :20:42.will openly weep! A lovely clip, we are ten weeks in, the couples are so
:20:43. > :20:49.lose. Before the quickstep-a-thon, Jay and Aliona... A fist bump! Very
:20:50. > :20:55.cute. Thank you very much, the judges! So far, two couples have
:20:56. > :21:03.secured their place in the competition, but who will join them?
:21:04. > :21:07.Tess. Thanks, Claudia. Four couples waiting, three will make it through
:21:08. > :21:09.to next week but one will face Kellie and Kevin in the dance-off.
:21:10. > :21:14.Who will it be? Time to find out. In no particular order, safely
:21:15. > :21:23.through to next week are... Back to dance again next Saturday
:21:24. > :22:09.are... That means Anita and Gleb and Peter
:22:10. > :22:13.and Janette, one of you is safe and one of you is in the dance-off. The
:22:14. > :22:20.couple who will compete in the dance-off is...
:22:21. > :22:32.So Anita and Gleb, congratulations, you are through to the
:22:33. > :22:37.quarterfinals. Peter and Janette, please come and join me.
:22:38. > :22:53.Oh, no, dance-off again. I'm so sorry. How are you feeling? I feel
:22:54. > :23:00.for Janette... Because she works, works, works. She has made me work.
:23:01. > :23:09.But not as much as her, and she is patient and she is lovely. She is a
:23:10. > :23:18.little peanut. And I love her. A brilliant partnership. Let's chat to
:23:19. > :23:21.this lot, shall we? Bruno, you said Peter's dance was lacking a bit of
:23:22. > :23:26.flow. He has a second chance to prove himself. Don't lose the
:23:27. > :23:31.wonderful playful quality you have, it is your strong suit. Maintain it.
:23:32. > :23:37.When you hold, don't tighten up. It is an American smooth, smooth is the
:23:38. > :23:43.word. Everything has to flow continuously. Don't lose the frame.
:23:44. > :23:47.You get over excited, everybody does, I do, I go like that... But
:23:48. > :23:54.when you are dancing, you have to stop and keep in perfect alignment.
:23:55. > :23:59.Combine the two and you will do it. Thank you very much. We wish you all
:24:00. > :24:08.the luck in the world. Claudia, over to you. Thank you, Tess, I am joined
:24:09. > :24:12.by three very relieved couples. Anita, no dance training whatsoever,
:24:13. > :24:15.you are through to the quarterfinals of Strictly Come Dancing, can you
:24:16. > :24:22.believe it? I can't, this is amazing. Every week, it's just this
:24:23. > :24:31.process, slowly sinking in. Maybe something is happening. Loving every
:24:32. > :24:37.minute of it. The quarterfinals! You have the foxtrot, notoriously
:24:38. > :24:46.difficult. Are you worried? No. Not if you dance with me! Supremely
:24:47. > :24:49.simple. You have never been in the dance-off. What would you like to
:24:50. > :24:56.say to the people who have voted for you? Thank you, obviously. All of
:24:57. > :25:05.the fans who have stuck with me, it is so awesome, thank you. Thank you
:25:06. > :25:10.for liking me. Thank you so much, congratulations to you all. Now time
:25:11. > :25:23.for some music. Please welcome the very brilliant Il Divo.
:25:24. > :25:29.# Quien sera la que me quiera a mi, Quien sera, quien sera?
:25:30. > :25:37.# Quien sera la que me de su amor, quien sera, quien sera?
:25:38. > :25:48.# Yo no se si volvere a querer,
:25:49. > :25:58.# He querido volver a vivir,
:25:59. > :26:01.# La pasion y el calor de otro amor,
:27:52. > :28:02.# Yo no se si la podre encontrar, yo no se si volvere a querer,
:28:03. > :28:34.Thank you to Il Divo, joined by Gleb and Natalie. All of our guys and
:28:35. > :28:37.dolls will be putting on the top hats for the Musicals Special, it
:28:38. > :28:43.promises to be a wicked show. You know what next week is? I do, it is
:28:44. > :28:50.Musicals Special, we are dancing to musicals! No business like show
:28:51. > :28:56.business, like no business I know! The costumes, the scenery, the
:28:57. > :29:01.make-up, the props. Let's go on with the show! Let's go on with the
:29:02. > :29:08.show... A little bit too excited for the
:29:09. > :29:19.musicals. We are here with two couples
:29:20. > :29:24.desperate to make it through to our Musicals Special. Kellie and Kevin,
:29:25. > :29:28.Peter and Janette, unfortunately only one couple can survive. You had
:29:29. > :29:32.so much fun on Saturday night, are you just going to do the same and
:29:33. > :29:38.love performing? You know what? I am. It is week ten and I am proud to
:29:39. > :29:43.be here. I have made it this far. I am going to go out and enjoy it like
:29:44. > :29:46.Saturday. Kevin, you have such a close partnership. What advice do
:29:47. > :29:52.you have for Kellie before the dance-off? The thing I love most
:29:53. > :29:57.about Kellie, she will always be about having fun. She puts so much
:29:58. > :29:58.into it, in the training room and on the dance floor. Just keep doing
:29:59. > :30:03.that. Let's hear it for Kellie and Kevin.
:30:04. > :30:16.Good luck. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Let's chat to
:30:17. > :30:20.you two. Peter, you love music and next week is our musical special.
:30:21. > :30:25.How much do you want to be there? As much as everybody else, you know, it
:30:26. > :30:30.has again what Kellie says, it has been such an experience and to get
:30:31. > :30:34.to this point there is to shame whenever you're gone, but obviously
:30:35. > :30:38.getting there is something we all stride for, of course. Sure. Janette
:30:39. > :30:42.can you give Peter a boost before he goes out there on in the dance-off?
:30:43. > :30:48.I have had a blast with you every single week that we've danced and we
:30:49. > :30:52.had a blast on Saturday night dancing this dance on Saturday
:30:53. > :30:57.night. We're going to have a blast again! We would love both couples to
:30:58. > :31:03.be with us next week and with only one place available, there is only
:31:04. > :32:42.one place available. Dancing next, it is Kellie and Kevin.
:32:43. > :32:59.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Kellie and Kevin have done
:33:00. > :33:01.all they can and now dancing to stay in the competition, it is Peter and
:33:02. > :34:41.Janette. CHEERING AND
:34:42. > :34:59.APPLAUSE Well done to you both. We will now
:35:00. > :35:03.find out which couple we would like to dance again. Judges, you have
:35:04. > :35:10.seen both couples perform again in the dance-off and based on that, it
:35:11. > :35:15.is now time to decide. I am about to ask each of you the
:35:16. > :35:22.name of the couple you think should be saved and why. In the event of a
:35:23. > :35:25.tie, head judge Len Goodman, you will have the casting vote. Kellie
:35:26. > :35:30.and Kevin and Peter and Janette there, is it. Craig, who are you
:35:31. > :35:37.going to save and why? Well, it is really tough now. Both
:35:38. > :35:42.couples improved Kellie for instance improved her fluidity and Peter did
:35:43. > :35:46.it beautifully. The couple I would love to save is Kellie and Kevin.
:35:47. > :35:50.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. That's one vote for you. Darcey, who do you
:35:51. > :35:54.think deserves to stay in the competition and why? It is
:35:55. > :36:00.incredibly difficult now the competition, but the couple I would
:36:01. > :36:05.like to save on technically more assured performance and confidence
:36:06. > :36:10.is Kellie and Kevin. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:36:11. > :36:17.Kellie and Kevin, that's two votes for you, if Bruno chooses to save
:36:18. > :36:23.you, that means we will see you in next week's quarterfinals. Who do
:36:24. > :36:28.you want to save and why? They gave very powerful and entertaining
:36:29. > :36:32.performance, but the one I thought had more contact and was technically
:36:33. > :36:36.more accurate was Kellie and Kevin. That means we're going to have to
:36:37. > :36:40.say goodbye to Peter and Janette. Come and join us.
:36:41. > :36:43.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Kellie and Kevin, congratulations, we will see
:36:44. > :36:47.you next week. Len, I know it makes no difference to the result, but did
:36:48. > :36:52.you agree with your fellow judges? I did, indeed. I agreed with my
:36:53. > :37:00.colleagues, Kellie and Kevin. Come on over. Come on over.
