0:09:48 > 0:09:52would most like to see is her first 10s from the judges. The Viennese

0:09:53 > 0:09:55waltz was amazing. I felt really nervous. We worked so hard in the

0:09:56 > 0:10:00studio. As soon as I stepped on to that floor and the music started, I

0:10:01 > 0:10:04felt alright. Gorgeous, my darling, gorgeous. I couldn't believe we got

0:10:05 > 0:10:10four 9s. That was amazing. We got through to Blackpool, which I'm so,

0:10:11 > 0:10:16so happy. The dance we are doing is the jive. It is fast. There is no

0:10:17 > 0:10:19room for mistakes. I like that. It's Blackpool, it's massive. Everything

0:10:20 > 0:10:24is going to be wow, wow, wow. Blackpool must have been a special

0:10:25 > 0:10:27place for you. Ask anyone and they will say Blackpool is the heart of

0:10:28 > 0:10:32the dancing world. I've never been before. I can't wait to be there and

0:10:33 > 0:10:35start the jive. Because Claudia has never been to Blackpool we are going

0:10:36 > 0:10:40a day earlier so I can show her the sights of Blackpool. She's going to

0:10:41 > 0:10:44have a blast. Welcome to the Winter Gardens. Wow, this is amazing. The

0:10:45 > 0:10:48Winter Gardens is such a special place for me. I've won the

0:10:49 > 0:10:52nationals, the British Open and the championship. It is touching to be

0:10:53 > 0:10:57back. It was wonderful to see. Did you enjoy that? Loved it Right, the

0:10:58 > 0:11:05next stop on your Blackpool tour is... Claudia, have you ever been on

0:11:06 > 0:11:10a donkey before? Never. You are the right weight to ride on Blossom.

0:11:11 > 0:11:16What is it like? Great. Smile, AJ. I've got one last surprise for your

0:11:17 > 0:11:25Blackpool tour. Look up there? Wow! A Strictly flag? If our score is as

0:11:26 > 0:11:31for our jive on Saturday night we are in for a good one. Dancing the

0:11:32 > 0:11:37jive, Claudia Fragapane and AJ Pritchard.

0:11:38 > 0:13:47What a way to kick off a show. Sounds like the audience enjoyed

0:13:48 > 0:13:53that. I know you did. The dances were amazing and the audiences were

0:13:54 > 0:13:57as well. Let us welcome our fabulous live singers, Hayley, Andrea, Tommy

0:13:58 > 0:14:03and Dave and his brilliant orchestra.

0:14:04 > 0:14:10APPLAUSE. You are so fine! Hey, Len, did they

0:14:11 > 0:14:14blow your mind? It did! Little Miss Dynamite out there, there was no

0:14:15 > 0:14:18taking the Mickey with that dance, you went for it, it was full-on, it

0:14:19 > 0:14:22was quick, it was sharp. APPLAUSE.

0:14:23 > 0:14:28There was a little moment early on where I don't know what happened, a

0:14:29 > 0:14:34little tie mist mistake. Well, I do apologise for telling the truth! I'm

0:14:35 > 0:14:37going to speak to Judge Rinder about you lot! It was a super dynamic

0:14:38 > 0:14:40routine and a great performance. Well done!

0:14:41 > 0:14:47APPLAUSE. Well done. Get you shaking your Pom

0:14:48 > 0:14:53Poms, Bruno? Claudia you are so fine, you are so fine you can jive,

0:14:54 > 0:15:00you nailed it! What a night! A spectacle of a

0:15:01 > 0:15:04production. The bay you took the lead with all the professional

0:15:05 > 0:15:10dancers was fantastic. Yes, there was - did you go on the wrong foot,

0:15:11 > 0:15:16something did happen? I don't know. I tell you, apart from that, it was

0:15:17 > 0:15:22a brilliant performance. APPLAUSE.

0:15:23 > 0:15:29Craig? That routine could have actually scored a 10. I know it was

0:15:30 > 0:15:33tiny, but it was a tiny mistake and unfortunately that happened. You

0:15:34 > 0:15:37know what, I loved the kick at the beginning into that big old lift,

0:15:38 > 0:15:43the kicks, the flicks were tight, sharp, it was compact. I really and

0:15:44 > 0:15:50truly loved it. Brilliant. Brilliant. Darcey? You were

0:15:51 > 0:15:58certainly fast-pumping, jumping magic Beans, both of you. It showed

0:15:59 > 0:16:02off all your strengths. Sharp kicks, dynamic throughout, one tiny mistake

0:16:03 > 0:16:08but still a spectacular performance! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE.

0:16:09 > 0:16:11I think the audience absolutely loved it. Off you go, you cheeky

0:16:12 > 0:16:25little cheerleader. Really, really well done. Never been

0:16:26 > 0:16:29to Blackpool before. For people watching, it's such an extraordinary

0:16:30 > 0:16:33place. Was it an honour to two first or totally terrifying? It was

0:16:34 > 0:16:38terrifying but it was an honour because we got the party started and

0:16:39 > 0:16:43it was really good. We loved it. AJ, you said Blackpool is the heart and

0:16:44 > 0:16:50soul of ballroom? Yes. And of dance. How special or important was it for

0:16:51 > 0:16:54you to dance with Claudia? Amazing, the atmosphere's insane. Fabulous,

0:16:55 > 0:16:58I'm so proud of her. Very well done. Good luck. The scores are in.

0:16:59 > 0:17:24The judges' scores are in: You happy? Same as last week? Very.

0:17:25 > 0:17:28If you loved that jive, please vote for Claudia and AJ. You can vote

0:19:18 > 0:19:30cuddle and say the word Tess, say Tess. Tess. Yes, thank you Peter!

0:19:31 > 0:19:34Ore and Joanne are our next couple. They are dancing to a Frank Sinatra

0:19:35 > 0:19:38song and they start off playing cards, so where better to do a Rat

0:19:39 > 0:19:44Pack routine than in Blackpool, the Vegas of the North.

0:19:45 > 0:19:51I was really looking forward to that rumba. I was actually really

0:19:52 > 0:19:58nervous. I thought it was very expressive and I thought it was very

0:19:59 > 0:20:02evocative. It was great. Well done. The judges' comments and scores, it

0:20:03 > 0:20:10was just amazing. When they called out our names and called us out

0:20:11 > 0:20:14first... First! It's the first time I'm going to dance in Strictly at

0:20:15 > 0:20:21Blackpool with a celeb. You don't know how much this means to me. No

0:20:22 > 0:20:26pressure! There week, it's all about the spins to have Viennese waltz.

0:20:27 > 0:20:30I'm all over the place. LAUGHTER. With the amount of

0:20:31 > 0:20:34spinning we are doing, he's definitely going to get dizzy so I

0:20:35 > 0:20:39know just the place to take him. Here we are at the Strictly props

0:20:40 > 0:20:46headquarters and I've got just the thing for you Viennese waltz. That?

0:20:47 > 0:20:50! That is going to help? A spinning chair? No, that is the spin master

0:20:51 > 0:21:048,000! Have a good time. See you in a bit.

0:21:05 > 0:21:09# You spin me right round-P # Like a record, baby...

0:21:10 > 0:21:15#. Well done, partner, you nailed it, now we are ready for Blackpool.

0:21:16 > 0:21:19Please tell me it's over. No, I need to teach you the forgot work, the

0:21:20 > 0:21:24frame, the head position, the posture...

0:21:25 > 0:21:31Dancing the Viennese waltz, Ore add Da and Joanne Clifton. -- Ore Oduba

0:21:32 > 0:21:43and Joanne Clifton. SONG: "That's Life"

0:21:44 > 0:23:34by Frank Sinatra. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE.

0:23:35 > 0:23:52Incredible! Oh, Ore, Ore, Ore! The showman and

0:23:53 > 0:23:58his show girl. I think you may have played your best hand there. I

0:23:59 > 0:24:04really enjoyed that, hi, Blackpool! I think you've covered every single

0:24:05 > 0:24:08inch of this icon Iqbal room there. She told know stride. You strode in

0:24:09 > 0:24:16style. Did they do the ballroom justice, Bruno? Ore, the ace in the

0:24:17 > 0:24:22pack! I'm telling you, that's how you play your cards! I love the

0:24:23 > 0:24:27angle you took on this, it was a jazz Viennese waltz out of Ocean 11,

0:24:28 > 0:24:35cool, sophisticated, slick, brilliant! Brilliant.

0:24:36 > 0:24:47Your top line in the fleckerl bothered me slightly. Needs to be a

0:24:48 > 0:24:55little more including, you were a bit Skippy going round off the

0:24:56 > 0:24:59table. Skippy. I loved the double jumps you did because it was triple

0:25:00 > 0:25:05time, fantastic. You are an amazing showman, so wonderful to see that.

0:25:06 > 0:25:12Brilliant. Great showmanship, it really was. Did you spot a fleckerl

0:25:13 > 0:25:17there? That was the longest lasting fleckerl I've ever seen on Strictly.

0:25:18 > 0:25:21Actually, forget what he said, nobody could hold their frame that

0:25:22 > 0:25:29well. You had a slight incline on the head. Who could go round that

0:25:30 > 0:25:31much? That's amazing. The charisma, the flare, you just fall into the

0:25:32 > 0:25:44style so easily. I loved it. What do you think? Well, I thought

0:25:45 > 0:25:46it was a mix of flair and care, I thought there was flair in the

0:25:47 > 0:25:51performance, I thought there was care in the technique, you took an

0:25:52 > 0:25:56old dancing trick, the longer you to something, people start clapping.

0:25:57 > 0:25:59You just went and on and on with that fleckerl which I didn't mind. I

0:26:00 > 0:26:03thought it was a terrific performance! Well done.

0:26:04 > 0:26:08APPLAUSE. Lots of fleckerls, especially a long

0:26:09 > 0:26:11one. Big even yuerks big performance, big confidence, let's

0:26:12 > 0:26:21hope you get some good scores, my love. Beautiful job, Ore and Joanne.

0:26:22 > 0:26:29Ore and Joanne, well done. I tried to count, I believe that was 12 in a

0:26:30 > 0:26:33row. How do you cope with that? I thought he was going to collapse?

0:26:34 > 0:26:39There was a few in the week but Jo was here to pick me back up. That

0:26:40 > 0:26:43was so beautifully choreographed, I haven't stopped smiling all week and

0:26:44 > 0:26:46since we got in here, oh... It's fantastic, well done to both of you.

0:26:47 > 0:26:48The scores are in. Ladies and gentlemen, the judges have their

0:26:49 > 0:27:18scores: CHEERING AND APPLAUSE.

0:27:19 > 0:27:23Well done! That's how to do it! Well done. Are you all right? That was

0:27:24 > 0:27:30amazing. And in your birthday week. If you would like to seeary ray and

0:27:31 > 0:27:40Joanne back to dance next week, all the details are on your screen now.

0:27:41 > 0:27:46-- Oreand Joanne. Tess, over to you. Performing next

0:27:47 > 0:27:50is Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton.

0:27:51 > 0:27:57In the last couple of weeks Louise has wowed us all with sensational

0:27:58 > 0:28:01routines. She's really found her confidence. Let's hope she continues

0:28:02 > 0:28:08to come out of her shell at the Blackpool seaside. If someone had

0:28:09 > 0:28:12said to me nine weeks ago I would done that dance on Saturday night, I

0:28:13 > 0:28:17would have laughed and said, no way. Big spender, big attitude. I reckon

0:28:18 > 0:28:22you're going to get a big score. Two get three 9s and a 10 was great. I

0:28:23 > 0:28:27feel like I've had an amazing couple of weeks on Strictly and I can't

0:28:28 > 0:28:31believe I've made it to Blackpool. This week I'm doing the paso doble.

0:28:32 > 0:28:38It is a very powerful dance. I'm so not aggressive. Are you ready for

0:28:39 > 0:28:43Blackpool? Yeah, I can't wait. When we get there I've arranged something

0:28:44 > 0:28:48special. Welcome to sunny Blackpool. I've arranged for us to make our

0:28:49 > 0:28:52Blackpool souvenirs. Thank you for coming in today. Is there anything

0:28:53 > 0:29:00you would like us to put through the rock? L and K Blackpool. Let's make

0:29:01 > 0:29:06a start then. That's the aggression I need in a paso. Exactly! Louise

0:29:07 > 0:29:09made the A of Blackpool herself, which I was really impressed with. I

0:29:10 > 0:29:15remember as a young girl going to the seaside and the first thing you

0:29:16 > 0:29:20want to do is go and buy some rock. I've made some personalised Strictly

0:29:21 > 0:29:25rock. My kids are going to love it. Let's let the experts finish this

0:29:26 > 0:29:30off and we can get some practise. In I tried to use the aggression when

0:29:31 > 0:29:35Louise was pushing the rock about. It's great to be here. We've got the

0:29:36 > 0:29:39finished product here. L and K Blackpool. Now it's time to rock the

0:29:40 > 0:29:46dancefloor on Saturday night. CHEERING. Dancing the paso doble,

0:29:47 > 0:32:01Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton. Wow! Goodness me!

0:32:02 > 0:32:06CHEERING. Oh, sensational! More drama than the Game of Thrones. I

0:32:07 > 0:32:10tried. Your little smiley face was still trying to smile. I tried not

0:32:11 > 0:32:17to show my teeth. You can't help myself. Was she the Queen of paso

0:32:18 > 0:32:24Craig? Kevin, you do brilliant pasos, you always have. This did not

0:32:25 > 0:32:31disappoint. The Flamenco at the beginning, the use of the skirt, the

0:32:32 > 0:32:37assisted Arabesque, the heel hop, full of drama, full of line, full of

0:32:38 > 0:32:46gorge! CHEERING. Amazing. Darcey? Louise,

0:32:47 > 0:32:50it is so hard to carry off that great entrance coming down the

0:32:51 > 0:32:55stairs, but you kept your control. It was dynamic, strong. Beautiful

0:32:56 > 0:32:58rounded arms in hold especially, you kept hold of that. The baroque

0:32:59 > 0:33:03style. It was passionate throughout. Well done.

0:33:04 > 0:33:06CHEERING. Len? Well, there's something about Blackpool and paso

0:33:07 > 0:33:11doble people always come out with so much drama. You know, this morning I

0:33:12 > 0:33:16walked here, I was blown away down by the seafront and I was blown away

0:33:17 > 0:33:24tonight with that! Fantastic. CHEERING. Bruno? A luscious Game of

0:33:25 > 0:33:31Thrones paso doble. The killer Queen. Really commanding her turf.

0:33:32 > 0:33:38In charge. Leading every move. Beauty, artistry, power. Fabulous.

0:33:39 > 0:33:42CHEERING. Great comments all round from the judges. You are the Queen

0:33:43 > 0:33:55of Blackpool. Well done, my darling. Off you go. It's Louise and Kevin!

0:33:56 > 0:34:02CHEERING. Well done! And aggressive paso. You are the smiliest and the

0:34:03 > 0:34:08least aggressive... You absolutely did it. I thought they would tell me

0:34:09 > 0:34:12off if I was smiling. They can be quite strict with you. I know both

0:34:13 > 0:34:16of you feel the nerves before you go on. Was it worse in Blackpool? For

0:34:17 > 0:34:20me, Kevin lovers the paso. It is Blackpool, he has a huge amount of

0:34:21 > 0:34:24history here, so I really felt I didn't want to let him down. I did

0:34:25 > 0:34:44it the best I could. You were amazing. The scores are in.

0:34:45 > 0:34:55CHEERING. That is a lovely score. My favourite thing though is cattia,

0:34:56 > 0:35:01your face when you got the 9s. No! Well done. If you don't want them to

0:35:02 > 0:35:07face the drama of the Dance Off, please vote for them. Voting opens

0:35:08 > 0:35:12at the end of the show. Later tonight Greg and Ore celebrate their

0:35:13 > 0:35:16birthdays, a weekend in Blackpool. Your face when you got the 9s. No!

0:35:17 > 0:35:18Well done. If you don't want them to face the drama of the Dance Off,

0:35:19 > 0:35:20please vote for them. Voting opens at the end of the show. Later

0:35:21 > 0:35:23tonight Greg and Ore celebrate their birthdays, a weekend in Blackpool.

0:35:24 > 0:35:25Plus two cakes. # living the dream. Tess. Our next couple is Danny Mac

0:35:26 > 0:35:28and his partner, Oti Mabuse. CHEERING. This week they are doing a

0:35:29 > 0:35:32slick and exciting Charleston. Danny will be a hotel waiter but when the

0:35:33 > 0:35:40dance is over, will he be at the top of our table? Let's find out. Last

0:35:41 > 0:35:45week's routine went brilliantly. It was the most connected and focussed

0:35:46 > 0:35:51the we have ever been out of any of the dances. I agree. ? The clarity

0:35:52 > 0:35:56of movement, the determination, the precision, the fire and ice, the

0:35:57 > 0:36:02pain and passion. Every action caused a reaction. I was just swept

0:36:03 > 0:36:11away. It was a killer. It's a 10 from Len! We are going to Blackpool!

0:36:12 > 0:36:16I love a beach. This week we are dancing the Charleston and I'm so

0:36:17 > 0:36:20excited. The routine will be a show stopper if we can get it right. Are

0:36:21 > 0:36:26you OK? The concept is cool. I'm a head waiter in a very glitzy and

0:36:27 > 0:36:30glamorous restaurant. Oti has asked me to meet her at a restaurant to

0:36:31 > 0:36:34get into character. I thought I would dress appropriately. Not a bad

0:36:35 > 0:36:40effort. This isn't the kind of restaurant I had in mind. I think

0:36:41 > 0:36:44you are a little overdressed. Nothing wrong with a bit of real

0:36:45 > 0:36:49work. Work. Two fish and chips, ladies. Enjoy. How is it going?

0:36:50 > 0:36:57Great. I've got this waiting gig down. Anyone waiting on any more

0:36:58 > 0:37:02food? Right. I think we should stick to the Charleston. In true Strictly

0:37:03 > 0:37:06fashion we had a lovely dance for the customers right here in the fish

0:37:07 > 0:37:13and chip shop. I have really enjoyed that actually. Now I just hope we

0:37:14 > 0:37:18don't look out of plaice on Saturday night. Dancing the Charleston, Danny

0:37:19 > 0:37:28Mac and Oti Mabuse. SONG: "Puttin' On The Ritz"

0:37:29 > 0:39:27by Gregory Porter. They're on their feet. You just

0:39:28 > 0:39:33shook this ballroom. Literally, I could feel the sprung floor shaking.

0:39:34 > 0:39:39Bouncing. A tasty Charleston. He was top of the leaderboard last week

0:39:40 > 0:39:43Darcey, how did he do tonight? I can imagine you still will be. That was,

0:39:44 > 0:39:49the speed of it. It was like a step to every beat to that music. It was

0:39:50 > 0:39:54fast swivelling. What was impressive how you held on to that one-handed

0:39:55 > 0:39:59cartwheel the two of you. Unbelievable. It is absolutely

0:40:00 > 0:40:04difficult to distinguish who is not the professional dancer now. You

0:40:05 > 0:40:09are, your standard is so high. Well done, Danny.

0:40:10 > 0:40:14CHEERING. You can't get a better compliment than that. Len. It was

0:40:15 > 0:40:17almost choreography overload. There was so much going on. One minute

0:40:18 > 0:40:21you're there and then up on the table. It was so full on and so

0:40:22 > 0:40:23tight, what I love with dance is when it's right on the edge.

0:40:24 > 0:40:29Anything could happen, if it goes wrong it's gone, but it didn't. You

0:40:30 > 0:40:38CHEERING. CHEERING. The praise is getting

0:40:39 > 0:40:41better. Bruno? Wow! That was a table-topping show stopper. It was

0:40:42 > 0:40:49like watching a Broadway show. It was of that standard. It was a

0:40:50 > 0:40:53virtuoso performance at every level, technique, performance, the content.

0:40:54 > 0:40:56What is great you went too far on slapstick. It was all pure, good

0:40:57 > 0:41:07dancing! CHEERING. I can't wait to see what

0:41:08 > 0:41:18Craig thinks. One word, three sill wholes, darling. Fab-u-lous!

0:41:19 > 0:41:28CHEERING. Three syllables, darling. Fab-u-lous. I have three words for

0:41:29 > 0:41:35you. Off you go. Danny and Oti! CHEERING. Danny and Oti! Well done.

0:41:36 > 0:41:39I thought the roof was going to blow off, because I know you get scared

0:41:40 > 0:41:44and you sometimes go blank. You think, I haven't got it. That was

0:41:45 > 0:41:48complicated. Did you think it was going to go horribly wrong? I get so

0:41:49 > 0:41:53nervous and terrified doing this show, but here, it is such a fun

0:41:54 > 0:42:02dance, I made sure I enjoyed it regardless. I had the best time.

0:42:03 > 0:42:16CHEERING. CHEERING.

0:42:17 > 0:42:33CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. The first 40 of the series. Well done. Oti,

0:42:34 > 0:42:38you're amazing. Your mum and your fiancee might gist. Might combust,

0:42:39 > 0:42:42how does it feel? Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. This was the

0:42:43 > 0:42:47best thing. If you loved their Charleston and want to see Danny and

0:42:48 > 0:42:50Oti through to next week, all the details are on your screen. You can

0:42:51 > 0:42:54vote when voting opens at the end of the show. Do you to a technical

0:42:55 > 0:42:56issue tonight you may experience some difficulties hearing the

0:42:57 > 0:43:00confirmation message when calling to vote for your favourite from your

0:43:01 > 0:43:03mobile. But don't worry, your vote will be successfully counted. So

0:43:04 > 0:43:07please don't worry. If you want to vote online, you will need to sign

0:43:08 > 0:43:11in or register, if you have not already. All that reading out loud

0:43:12 > 0:43:17after the 40, a bit weird. There's still all of this to come:

0:43:18 > 0:43:22This is a fun dance, but it is difficult. There are a few parts

0:43:23 > 0:43:31which I go, I don't know what's going on. Step, hop, side... No! The

0:43:32 > 0:43:41dance is really fast. Faster than I expected. So different to anything

0:43:42 > 0:43:49I've done so far. This week I'm shaking my thing. Shake it.

0:43:50 > 0:43:56Apparently it is spelt thang. I'm shaking my thank, whatever that is.

0:43:57 > 0:44:01CHEERING. So much to look forward to. Next up it is Ed Balls and his

0:44:02 > 0:44:09partner, Katya Jones. Ed is going to be on a piano

0:44:10 > 0:44:20dangling 40 feet in the air. I know, I'm hanging on to the piano for him,

0:44:21 > 0:44:25Tess. Claude, the last time you did that, you dropped it and it smashed.

0:44:26 > 0:44:33I'll hold on to it this time. Pinky promise? Yes.

0:44:34 > 0:44:39While we get that fixed, here they are in training.

0:44:40 > 0:44:53I sort of knew that once we got to that, it was going to be all right.

0:44:54 > 0:44:58O-M-G... Really enjoyed it. Spectacular. At the end, when I was

0:44:59 > 0:45:05lying on my back in the studio when everyone was clapping, I thought...

0:45:06 > 0:45:12Boom! Totally epic. Utterly. This week we are doing jive. It's really

0:45:13 > 0:45:18fast, really bouncy so I've got a plan to harness one of Ed's many

0:45:19 > 0:45:23talents to get him up to speed. Ed, you're really good at it, aren't

0:45:24 > 0:45:28you? I'm starting my routine on Saturday playing the piano so I have

0:45:29 > 0:45:31to get some practise in. It's all very well being fast with the piano

0:45:32 > 0:45:39but can you be fast with your feet on the dance floor? In fact, I have

0:45:40 > 0:45:42an idea. Follow me. This is the floor piano, plays the piano when

0:45:43 > 0:45:46you step on it. Perfect way to learn a jive. Kick and step, kick and

0:45:47 > 0:45:55step, kick and step. This time, we are going to do it again and you are

0:45:56 > 0:46:01going to be fast, bouncy and sharp. Faster, faster, faster... That floor

0:46:02 > 0:46:08piano has really helped. I'm giving Katya a bit of a headache. Stop!

0:46:09 > 0:46:15Let's have a break. Not sure she'll be suggesting that one again.

0:46:16 > 0:46:27STRICTLY TUNE.

0:46:28 > 0:46:34Dancing the jive, Ed Balls and Katya.

0:46:35 > 0:48:33SONG: "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis.

0:48:34 > 0:48:50Listen to that. Another epic performance! Ed Balls, you are on

0:48:51 > 0:48:56fire! Blackpool, it's the place to be! It sure is, it sure is.

0:48:57 > 0:49:03Goodness, gracious me! What do you think of that, Len?

0:49:04 > 0:49:07You know, Ed, you're getting better, I'll tell you, because last week you

0:49:08 > 0:49:12were eighth, the worst you are going to be this week is seventh. Ed, you

0:49:13 > 0:49:19came down there and you made Blackpool rock!

0:49:20 > 0:49:25APPLAUSE. Bruno, you're smiling? Smiling. What

0:49:26 > 0:49:29do you think? I've already booked a shrink, a chiropractor and a retreat

0:49:30 > 0:49:38to the Himalayas to recover from Ed Balls syndrome. You are strangely

0:49:39 > 0:49:42addictive. I'll come with you. I have to admit, to my surprise, most

0:49:43 > 0:49:48of it looked like a jive! APPLAUSE.

0:49:49 > 0:49:54It looked like you were playing hop scotch in an all girls school sadly.

0:49:55 > 0:49:57Floppy feet on all the kicks, you need to be a lot lighter on your

0:49:58 > 0:50:03feet, you were slamming the feet into the floor. I was. But, you know

0:50:04 > 0:50:07what, you know what I love about you, you're committed, my darling

0:50:08 > 0:50:14and acidious and that is good. APPLAUSE.

0:50:15 > 0:50:17I was worried where the energy was going to come but it did build up by

0:50:18 > 0:50:21the end and there were times where you could have had a lot more

0:50:22 > 0:50:25attraction on the kicks. A little bit like I thought you were going to

0:50:26 > 0:50:29expire by the end but fortunately you had five women to lift you -

0:50:30 > 0:50:36what a great, great end! All's well that ends well. Thank you, judges,

0:50:37 > 0:50:45you do everything with so much gusto. Well done.

0:50:46 > 0:50:50APPLAUSE. Ed and Katya! Do you know what we

0:50:51 > 0:50:53love about you, Ed, I have to share with the group that we obviously

0:50:54 > 0:50:57have all been here a couple of days and you said, no, I'm going to the

0:50:58 > 0:50:59Winter Gardens to watch the professionals and you did yesterday,

0:51:00 > 0:51:04took your dancing shoes but basically went to watch. I did and

0:51:05 > 0:51:08they are so on point and precise and talented and brilliant. It was an

0:51:09 > 0:51:12inspiration and makes me want to keep dancing. We loved you,

0:51:13 > 0:51:16honestly. Tonight was extraordinary. The scores are in:

0:51:17 > 0:51:34Ladies and gentlemen, the judges have their scores:

0:51:35 > 0:51:39They are all shouting "undermarked" but you are lovely, you take the

0:51:40 > 0:51:43positive. You are looking at Craig's score and you are like, no, move

0:51:44 > 0:51:46further down. We'd just love to come back and keep dancing, we'd love to

0:51:47 > 0:51:50come back. Thank you so much, well done to both of you. If you enjoyed

0:51:51 > 0:51:53Ed and the flying piano, all the details are on your screen now so

0:51:54 > 0:51:58you can vote for him and Katya when voting opens at the end of the show.

0:51:59 > 0:52:02Still to come, Judge Rinder is on the beaches of Rio, it's a bit like

0:52:03 > 0:52:07Blackpool, I think you will agree, but with slightly fewer donkeys.

0:52:08 > 0:52:09Tess? Dancing next in the ballroom is Greg Rutherford and his partner,

0:52:10 > 0:52:17Natalie Lowe. APPLAUSE.

0:52:18 > 0:52:24Greg is thrilled to have made it to Blackpool. 250 mile from London is

0:52:25 > 0:52:33nothing compared to how far he's come as a dancer. Here he is

0:52:34 > 0:52:38training in the quickstep. Obviously, it's so hard perfecting

0:52:39 > 0:52:43it. Came to the live show. The bits I was getting wrong were the bits I

0:52:44 > 0:52:51hadn't gotten wrong all week. Plenty of aggression and attack. It just

0:52:52 > 0:52:58lost a little finesse. This could be it, the last time we get dancing

0:52:59 > 0:53:01before we go home. You don't want to go home, you know how much work

0:53:02 > 0:53:11you've put into it so you want to stay. Greg and Natalie. This week we

0:53:12 > 0:53:18are doing the quickstep. It's going to be fast, furious and Greg is

0:53:19 > 0:53:24going to love it. It's going to be quick and bouncy. Every time I'm

0:53:25 > 0:53:31asked to do a jumpy movement, I go too far. He's too fast and powerful.

0:53:32 > 0:53:41I have to reign it in, hopefully I can still nail it. -- reign it in.

0:53:42 > 0:53:52Finally on our way to Blackpool. No better place to train than on the

0:53:53 > 0:53:57train. Greg and I were overwhelmed by the amount of people that came up

0:53:58 > 0:54:00to show us their support. Now that we've quickly trained on the train,

0:54:01 > 0:54:02we are hoping for a fantastic result on Saturday night. Greg and Natalie,

0:54:03 > 0:54:09do it for the gingers, woo! Dancing the quickstep, Greg

0:54:10 > 0:56:00Rutherford and Natalie Lowe. G, whatever that is.

0:56:01 > 0:56:03CHEERING. So much to look forward to. Next up it is

0:56:04 > 0:56:29Come on over. CHEERING. You were born to hand

0:56:30 > 0:56:33jive. I think you were born to quickstep. That was a slow step you

0:56:34 > 0:56:39were so fast. That was one of the most incredible and fun moments I've

0:56:40 > 0:56:43had in Strictly Come Dancing, I will tell you.

0:56:44 > 0:56:49CHEERING. Was it a step in the right direction Bruno? Yes, so sporty. It

0:56:50 > 0:56:55was so bubbly, so bouncy. It was like a Springbok on the run! Look at

0:56:56 > 0:56:59you. It was good actually to see a brighter side of you. Seeing you

0:57:00 > 0:57:04having a good time, engaging a little bit more. Very handy as well.

0:57:05 > 0:57:08Are you ambidextrous or something? You were doing your tricks very

0:57:09 > 0:57:14well. Just refine a little bit more the footwork. Quickstep has to glide

0:57:15 > 0:57:18effortlessly. Frame better, just a bit of polish on the feet. Thank

0:57:19 > 0:57:26you. APPLAUSE. He is panting. You're so

0:57:27 > 0:57:32fit. Craig? There was too much power, sadly, into the floor, which

0:57:33 > 0:57:39was creating a little too much height in your chasses which made it

0:57:40 > 0:57:47look a bit bouncy. You seemed to go off on the wrong leg in the jette as

0:57:48 > 0:57:53well. A small but large point, darling, your thumb was sticking up.

0:57:54 > 0:57:53But you know what? You danced it brilliantly.

0:57:54 > 0:58:03CHEERING. Darcey? Well, Greg, you have no

0:58:04 > 0:58:06problem travelling. You were down here in two seconds. Income. It's

0:58:07 > 0:58:10true. We've seen that you have this built in spring in you. It is a

0:58:11 > 0:58:13national spring and that's so difficult, especially on a sprung

0:58:14 > 0:58:18floor, to control that and not have that bounce. That's all that we saw,

0:58:19 > 0:58:22sadly, with the quickstep. Little mistakes but what was great was you

0:58:23 > 0:58:26were smiling all the way through it. In the hand jive you were having

0:58:27 > 0:58:32fun, and I had fun watching you. Thank you. Len? One of the hardest

0:58:33 > 0:58:37things about quickstep is to keep your frame quiet and get your feet

0:58:38 > 0:58:42moving fast. You maintained that throughout. I thought it was great

0:58:43 > 0:58:48movement around the floor. What is year really is as a longjumper the

0:58:49 > 0:58:54only thing you really mucked up was the leap. How ironic. I've been

0:58:55 > 0:58:58trying to calm it down so much that I think I calmed it down too much

0:58:59 > 0:59:04and the jump wasn't as good as it has been. No, considering you are a

0:59:05 > 0:59:08world champion longjumper, it is a strange thing...

0:59:09 > 0:59:12LAUGHTER That's not an excuse, Len, is it!

0:59:13 > 0:59:18LAUGHTER Take your prom Queen over to Claudia. Claudia. Off you go. A

0:59:19 > 0:59:29great effort from Greg and Natalie. CHEERING. We loved it. I know! Your

0:59:30 > 0:59:32face, because Natalie, when you got matched up, you were saying, I need

0:59:33 > 0:59:37to do the quickstep with that man. I loved it. You were amazing. You were

0:59:38 > 0:59:54so good. Thank you. The scores are in.

0:59:55 > 1:00:03Well done. More than last week. Well done. If you liked that hand jive

1:00:04 > 1:00:07routine, please use yours to vote for them. All the details are on

1:00:08 > 1:00:11your screen. Voting opens at the end of the show. You don't have long to

1:00:12 > 1:00:16wait, because there is just one couple left to dance. Tess. That's

1:00:17 > 1:00:19right. Our final couple is Judge Rinder and his partner, Oksana

1:00:20 > 1:00:25Platero. CHEERING. Tonight they are doing a

1:00:26 > 1:00:31salsa. It is a real party dance, so ladies and gentlemen, are you ready

1:00:32 > 1:00:38for this party? Yes! I was really hoping you would say that. That.

1:00:39 > 1:00:43Let's bring on the Rio carnival. I love the foxtrot. It was everything

1:00:44 > 1:00:48I hoped dancing it would be. You should be proud. It's a 9. To get a

1:00:49 > 1:00:54nine from Len, that felt so great. I really enjoyed that dance. It was a

1:00:55 > 1:01:00privilege to do it in front of my grandparents. Congratulations on

1:01:01 > 1:01:05getting to Blackpool. This week we have to bring our absolute best I'm

1:01:06 > 1:01:09going to have fun doing the salsa. There's loads of lifts in the salsa.

1:01:10 > 1:01:13It is stomach dropping sometimes. Just when you think you can do it.

1:01:14 > 1:01:18It is pretty terrifying, that's for sure. To help you get comfortable

1:01:19 > 1:01:27without tricks, I have a surprise for you. I don't like surprises. You

1:01:28 > 1:01:35will like this one. Ta-da! There it is. Don't be so absurd. What are you

1:01:36 > 1:01:41talking about? Oksana has brought me here to assist with with my lift by

1:01:42 > 1:01:46making a tenuous connection between my terror of putting her over my

1:01:47 > 1:02:00head and a ride. He's having so much fun. Oh, dear.

1:02:01 > 1:02:06Oh for goodness sake! Now I've been on the ride I'm sure ky reach the

1:02:07 > 1:02:11die heights of the ballroom, and the even doesier heights of my lift.

1:02:12 > 1:02:16You're welcome. CHEERING. Dancing the salsa, Judge

1:02:17 > 1:02:22Rinder and Oksana Platero. SONG: "Spice Up Your

1:02:23 > 1:04:31Life" by Spice Girls. You are brilliant. You've got the

1:04:32 > 1:04:36wiggle and the hips going on. You've just illuminated Blackpool I think.

1:04:37 > 1:04:40This is so amazing. When I heard about coming to Blackpool, this

1:04:41 > 1:04:45place is amazing isn't it? Isn't it just? You're not so bad yourself.

1:04:46 > 1:04:53You know how to throw the party, Spice Boy. Let's see what our Scary

1:04:54 > 1:04:57Spice thinks. Craig? I thought it, darling, was hiptastic. I really. I

1:04:58 > 1:05:03loved the forward somersault. Had problem getting out of it. The lift

1:05:04 > 1:05:06was incredibly impressive. Your booty shakes, your back booty

1:05:07 > 1:05:12shakes, the round off at the end. I think I would like to call you judge

1:05:13 > 1:05:16Judge Englander from now on, darling.
