:00:10. > :00:15.Last week, seven celebrities eliminated the Blackpool Tower

:00:16. > :00:22.ballroom. Some took the judges on a Big Dipper ride to remember. That

:00:23. > :00:25.was a table topping show stopper! Others proved more disappointing

:00:26. > :00:31.than a rail replacement bus service. You looks like you were playing

:00:32. > :00:34.hopscotch in an all girls' school. And after the battle of the

:00:35. > :00:40.Olympians' dance-off, Greg packed his bucket and spade and left. This

:00:41. > :00:44.week, with the addition of the Cha Cha Challenge, our celebrities are

:00:45. > :00:50.working around the clock preparing two dances. I'm apprehensive. Going

:00:51. > :00:54.to get some last-minute practice in. A tough week ahead. Sangakkara I

:00:55. > :00:57.never thought Strictly would take over my life. We cannot afford to be

:00:58. > :01:53.complacent. Live from the BBC, this is Strictly

:01:54. > :01:58.Come Dancing! Please welcome your hosts... Tess Daly. And Claudia

:01:59. > :02:23.Winkleman! Hello and welcome to Strictly Come

:02:24. > :02:26.Dancing! In last week's Blackpool special, we witnessed some truly

:02:27. > :02:29.magnificent performances. Everyone was blown away, even Craig, who

:02:30. > :02:35.dished out his first ten of the series. It was our two Olympians,

:02:36. > :02:41.Greg and Claudia, who went head to head in the dance-off. Sadly, it was

:02:42. > :02:43.Greg who lost out. We are now left with just six celebrities who will

:02:44. > :02:46.have to raise their game once more because tonight, as well as

:02:47. > :02:53.performing a new routine, they will be taking part in our first Cha Cha

:02:54. > :02:58.Challenge. Six couples competing against each other at the same time

:02:59. > :03:03.on this very dance floor. It's going to be one busy ballroom. And

:03:04. > :03:09.watching closely will be four people who never miss a trick. Please

:03:10. > :03:14.welcome the judges. Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell

:03:15. > :03:36.and Len Goodman. The judges, everyone. Slick! Our

:03:37. > :03:41.couples are waiting in the wings, limbering up for a night of double

:03:42. > :03:49.dancing. Let's bring them out here on the double. Please welcome our

:03:50. > :03:53.Strictly stars. TV presenter and singer Louise Redknapp and her

:03:54. > :03:58.partner Kevin Clifton. Star of Judge Rinder, Robert Rinder and his

:03:59. > :04:03.partner Oksana Platero. Olympic gymnast Claudia Fragapane and her

:04:04. > :04:07.partner AJ Pritchard. BBC Sport presenter Ore Oduba and his partner

:04:08. > :04:12.Joanne Clifton. Former Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls and his partner

:04:13. > :04:13.Katya Jones. And finally, actor Danny Mac and his partner Oti

:04:14. > :04:35.Mabuse. Our sensational six, all eager to

:04:36. > :04:39.entertain and impress not once, but twice tonight and with a place in

:04:40. > :04:43.next week's quarterfinal up for grabs, the pressure is on. You will

:04:44. > :04:47.be able to vote for your favourite later. Your votes will be added to

:04:48. > :04:51.the judges' scores to decide which two couples will face the dance-off

:04:52. > :04:55.in tomorrow night's results show. It is then down to the judges to decide

:04:56. > :05:05.who stays in the competition. Dancing for tonight is Danny and his

:05:06. > :05:09.partner Oti. Last week, they scored the first perfect 40 of the series

:05:10. > :05:13.and ever since they got back from Blackpool, they have been out

:05:14. > :05:21.partying. But they were not just celebrating, they were training for

:05:22. > :05:25.tonight's samba. What a night, dancing along with backing dancers

:05:26. > :05:36.in front of that audience. Words cannot describe the feeling.

:05:37. > :05:42.Fantastic. Fabulous! 40 at Blackpool! To entertain people is

:05:43. > :05:48.all I ever want to do. I am so grateful I had the chance and I am

:05:49. > :05:53.grateful to do it again. Keep it slow. This week, Danny and I will be

:05:54. > :06:01.dancing the samba. I am trying to make it a little less carnival and a

:06:02. > :06:07.bit more jungle, ethnic and tribal. Stop laughing at me! Oti wasn't

:06:08. > :06:11.laughing at me. As she likes to celebrate the Lidl describe it, she

:06:12. > :06:18.was celebrating the movement of my body(!). I believe you. To hopefully

:06:19. > :06:21.get to grips with the dance, Oti has brought me to meet the London School

:06:22. > :06:26.of samba, because they know a lot more about it than I do. It even

:06:27. > :06:36.though their style is different, it is about having fun. That boy can

:06:37. > :06:43.really check his hips. I just hope we can bring that level of fun to

:06:44. > :06:48.Saturday night. Dancing the samba, Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse.

:06:49. > :09:01.Listen to that reaction from the audience. Have a look around, Danny.

:09:02. > :09:08.Tell you what, it's hot in the jungle. Congratulations, storming

:09:09. > :09:15.start, so different to last week's Charlton. Is there nothing your boy

:09:16. > :09:18.can't do, Oti? He worked so hard before we hear what the judges

:09:19. > :09:24.thought, let's welcome our wonderful live singers Hayley, Lance, Andrea,

:09:25. > :09:31.Tommy and of course Dave Arch and his brilliant orchestra. Well, you

:09:32. > :09:37.brought the heat, but I know you wanted to bring fun to the dance

:09:38. > :09:45.floor tonight. Len, did he? Oh, he's a tease. You started slow. Hello, I

:09:46. > :09:50.thought. A stationary samba walk, hint of a role, and then suddenly,

:09:51. > :10:00.wallop! Into those promenades, flying around. Natural roles, I tell

:10:01. > :10:07.you, your hips were like a snake, honestly! It was fierce like a puma,

:10:08. > :10:15.and hotter and steamier than the Amazonian jungle. It was fabulous!

:10:16. > :10:20.It was steamy, all right. Bruno, they had the perfect score last

:10:21. > :10:28.week. How did they do to make? What are you doing to me? At this time at

:10:29. > :10:32.night, look at the state of me. I am hyperventilating. I don't know if I

:10:33. > :10:41.need a doctor, a pill, a drink, a cold shower. It was like watching a

:10:42. > :10:46.Pagan mating ritual. Between magnificent, exotic species. Every

:10:47. > :10:53.sinew of the body was stretched to the limit, slave to the rhythm.

:10:54. > :11:07.Those hips were popping off your pelvis! Even for him, that is

:11:08. > :11:15.excited. By contrast, look at Craig's face. I found the open shirt

:11:16. > :11:19.a slight distraction, darling. But I have to say, your hip action, we

:11:20. > :11:30.never get that from a male celebrity. It was incredible. I

:11:31. > :11:37.loved the tribal nature of it, the isolation was absolutely excellent.

:11:38. > :11:41.Brilliant. Brilliant from Craig. Darcey? Danny, you have certainly

:11:42. > :11:49.put the hours in. To achieve that in one week, he has done it. It really

:11:50. > :11:56.showed. It was like the most perfect samba masterclass. Clean isolations,

:11:57. > :12:04.travelling, using the dance floor. Outstanding. You cannot top those

:12:05. > :12:11.comments. Off you go, congratulations. Danny and Oti. That

:12:12. > :12:32.was so much fun! Oti, I have never seen the samba

:12:33. > :12:36.like that. Normally, a samba is like a small parrot. That was

:12:37. > :12:40.extraordinary. And you look surprised when you get such good

:12:41. > :12:43.comments. You don't know what to expect. We worked all week for it,

:12:44. > :12:48.but you genuinely don't know what will come from those guys, and they

:12:49. > :12:52.are the experts. When it is good, it's amazing. The scores are in. The

:12:53. > :13:29.judges' scores are in. Are you OK? Listen to the audience.

:13:30. > :13:36.Thank you, gang. That is the first 40 in Strictly history for a samba.

:13:37. > :13:40.It has never happened. Well done. If you thought Danny and Oti were the

:13:41. > :13:43.jungle VIPs, all the information you need is on your screen now, so you

:13:44. > :13:47.can vote for them when the vote opens at the end of the show. Fans

:13:48. > :13:51.of the terms and conditions. While I read them, it's the perfect

:13:52. > :13:56.opportunity for everyone to practise for the tartan challenge. Cue the

:13:57. > :14:03.cha-cha music. Calls cost 50p plus any network access charge.

:14:04. > :14:09.The vote will not open until after the charter challenge. Please don't

:14:10. > :14:11.vote until I tell you. If you do, your vote will not count and you may

:14:12. > :14:23.still be charged. Tess. What a start to the show and a

:14:24. > :14:26.little bit of Strictly history with it.

:14:27. > :14:28.Dancing next it's Ore and his partner Joanne.

:14:29. > :14:31.Ore's gone from being top of the leaderboard,

:14:32. > :14:34.to being in the dance-off to scoring three tens for last week's

:14:35. > :14:36.Viennese Waltz but can he stay near the top

:14:37. > :14:55.I cannot get over that night. Cool, sophisticated, slick. Brilliant.

:14:56. > :15:00.Three 10s, who would have thought? And to do it in Blackpool ballroom.

:15:01. > :15:05.I don't think I would have changed a single moment of that night.

:15:06. > :15:12.Blackpool is awesome, I'm coming back! We have the Paso Doble this

:15:13. > :15:16.week There have been so many incredible ones this series, we have

:15:17. > :15:20.to somehow make ours stand out. We haven't done a dance yet where we

:15:21. > :15:25.have to be angry with each other. Amazing. I am not a very angry

:15:26. > :15:34.person. This is going to be a little bit of a challenge. Paso is

:15:35. > :15:40.exhausting. So much to take in. Step-wise there will be a lot of

:15:41. > :15:47.stamps. And there will be a lot of flamenco hands and wrists and also

:15:48. > :15:52.the posture which is of a Mateador. You have to maintain that. The

:15:53. > :15:57.pelvis forward, back up. Lead with this frame. There's so much to

:15:58. > :16:00.remember with this Paso. One step wrong could be curtains. We have to

:16:01. > :16:05.make sure we get it absolutely right on Saturday.

:16:06. > :16:08.Dancing the Paso Doble, Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton.

:16:09. > :17:53.MUSIC: Everybody Wants To Rule The World.

:17:54. > :18:21.Just brilliant. They're on their feet. Come on over.

:18:22. > :18:23.Oh! Just brilliant. Goose pimples throughout that

:18:24. > :18:29.performance. That was fierce. You are usually such a pussycat, where

:18:30. > :18:31.did that come from? I don't have much to be angry about, but you try

:18:32. > :18:36.to channel it for a minute-and-a-half. We are used to a

:18:37. > :18:42.softer side, what about his angry side? Goose bumps, it was achingly

:18:43. > :18:49.stylish and original. Different. It was almost like Tom Ford's film

:18:50. > :18:57.Nocturnal Animals. It was a different take. It was modern and

:18:58. > :19:03.captured the zeitgeist of now. Yet every element was clear in display.

:19:04. > :19:08.The lines, the shaping. The attitude. It's different and I

:19:09. > :19:11.praise you, Joanne, for that. Because it's good reinventing

:19:12. > :19:16.something that's been around for such a long time and giving it a

:19:17. > :19:23.modern actual valid twist. Brilliant.

:19:24. > :19:27.So original. Craig, are we looking at a contender for the

:19:28. > :19:31.quarter-finals? Potentially. There was an unsure moment down here where

:19:32. > :19:36.you looked a little bit lost and I didn't believe you. Also, you need

:19:37. > :19:46.to watch in the Spanish line that the wrist is get towards the body.

:19:47. > :19:50.But I have to say, it had strength and style and power and the whole

:19:51. > :19:58.story was extremely engaging, darling. Well done.

:19:59. > :20:02.Darcey. Ore it certainly was, it was dramatic, intense. The focus was

:20:03. > :20:07.there from the beginning to end. What you have is a very supple upper

:20:08. > :20:12.body, that back which really helps to produce those shapes and curves,

:20:13. > :20:19.and then you have those lovely long arms to get that nice rounded shape

:20:20. > :20:25.which really worked. Very, very nice. Len. Atmosphere, a dance of

:20:26. > :20:30.power and purpose. I don't think I have ever seen anyone get that

:20:31. > :20:36.amount of shaping during the twist and turns and the cape. They were so

:20:37. > :20:41.strong. Unfortunately, on that second cape a little incident

:20:42. > :20:46.occurred, I think. Maybe I am wrong. But you can only go... Are you going

:20:47. > :20:50.to boo me for telling the truth? It was a wonderful Paso Doble. You

:20:51. > :20:55.showed a totally different side to your character and I congratulate

:20:56. > :20:58.you. Well done. Congratulations, you can't be angry

:20:59. > :21:05.after those comments. The smile is back. Off you go. Beautiful job. Ore

:21:06. > :21:13.and Joanne! . APPLAUSE AND

:21:14. > :21:19.CHEERING Well done. The judges called it

:21:20. > :21:23.dramatic, intense, a different kind of Paso Doble and also you are the

:21:24. > :21:31.friendliest boy in the whole world. Did you find it hard all week? I

:21:32. > :21:36.look at Jo and she has such an angry face, am I doing something wrong? I

:21:37. > :21:57.am biting my lip not to smile. The judges' scores are in.

:21:58. > :22:05.Well done. Still an excellent score. If you

:22:06. > :22:08.would like to keep Ore and Joe avn in the competition all the details

:22:09. > :22:16.are on the screen now and you can vote when voting opens at the end of

:22:17. > :22:23.the show. Still to come judge Rinder pretends to be a dance student and

:22:24. > :22:27.Oksana pretends to be his teacher. Dancing next in the ballroom

:22:28. > :22:30.is Louise and her partner Kevin. It's been wonderful watching

:22:31. > :22:32.Louise's Strictly transformation. So who better to join her

:22:33. > :22:37.in training this week than the man who's been supporting her every inch

:22:38. > :22:45.of the way - her husband Jamie. How was Blackpool for you? It was

:22:46. > :22:51.even more special in real life. You ales feel a little bit special when

:22:52. > :22:59.you get a 10 from Len. Head judge Len. You smashed it. This week we

:23:00. > :23:06.are dancing the waltz. It's a romantic dance. I am not really

:23:07. > :23:13.romantic at the best of times. Kevin has arranged for somebody to come in

:23:14. > :23:19.and help me get romantic. Fingers crossed it's George Clooney. Hey

:23:20. > :23:25.guys. You thought it was Clooney. Kevin has invited me to try to bring

:23:26. > :23:29.romance to Louise. Let's get into character. Last week you were

:23:30. > :23:38.fierce, this week you have to be romantic. Is he really as close as

:23:39. > :23:43.that? Other foot. Are you not feeling romantic? It's made me

:23:44. > :23:49.laugh. Stop laughing. I have already died inside. Stop laughing, we want

:23:50. > :23:54.romance. For the first time in years me and Jamie danced together, but

:23:55. > :23:59.giggling but still danced together. Stop laughing, get romantic! Kevin,

:24:00. > :24:02.take over. Good luck. We are so proud of you. The boys and I will be

:24:03. > :24:08.watching on Saturday night cheering you on.

:24:09. > :24:10.Dancing the Waltz, Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton.

:24:11. > :26:15.Oh, so, so graceful, Louise. Beautiful. Like a Princess.

:26:16. > :26:19.Gorgeous. I am sure you made Jamie and the boys proud. Craig, Louise is

:26:20. > :26:25.the highest scoring female of the series so far. Did she maintain that

:26:26. > :26:30.standard tonight? Louise always maintains standards. Absolutely love

:26:31. > :26:33.your dancing. You need to watch your shoulders raising slightly through

:26:34. > :26:39.the jazz sections, they still need to be down. But grace, fluidity,

:26:40. > :26:44.style. Movement around the floor was absolutely incredible. I just could

:26:45. > :26:48.watch you all night. I really could. Craig could watch you all night. So

:26:49. > :26:52.could we. Darcey. It's effortless, your style, the two of you together.

:26:53. > :26:55.I think what's lovely is the narrative is told through your

:26:56. > :26:59.steps. It's like this relationship building as the waltz builds. You

:27:00. > :27:04.don't get him to hold until the very end. It's really a piece of magic

:27:05. > :27:10.and what's even better is the artistry of how you play with the

:27:11. > :27:17.music is even more divine. It really is. And those finger turns, to have

:27:18. > :27:22.that beautiful concession right to the end and not losing balance and

:27:23. > :27:28.being straight on the line, straight on the money. Fabulous. Len, you

:27:29. > :27:39.scored Louise a 10 last week. Is she still your top girl? I tell you

:27:40. > :27:46.this, we have been treated to three fantastic dances. That dance could

:27:47. > :27:53.be one of your five-a--day. It's so good to watch. It was cracking.

:27:54. > :28:02.Don't listen up there... What's he on about? It was brilliant.

:28:03. > :28:05.Brilliant. Bruno, what do you think? Strictly beautiful, my darling.

:28:06. > :28:11.Quality of movement, the interpretation of the music. Above

:28:12. > :28:17.all, it's your phrasing. Your musical phrasing is impeccable.

:28:18. > :28:21.Impeccable. You must be on cloud nine after those comments. Let's

:28:22. > :28:25.hope for some 10s. Off you go, Louise and Kevin!

:28:26. > :28:36.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:28:37. > :28:41.Well done, darling. I know you found this week quite difficult going back

:28:42. > :28:45.into hold. You kept going, we saw you with your husband, adorable. You

:28:46. > :28:49.found it tricky. For me it was the hardest week. I don't know what it

:28:50. > :28:53.was. You have to be controlled and I think I possibly drove Kevin

:28:54. > :28:55.slightly mad this week. So, thank you. Never, it's not possible. The

:28:56. > :29:05.scores are in. A beautiful 10.

:29:06. > :29:28.From Len, a 10. Well done. 39. If you want to see

:29:29. > :29:32.Louise and Kevin waltz into next week's musical special all the

:29:33. > :29:36.details are on the screen now. You can vote for them after the cha-cha

:29:37. > :29:39.challenge. If you want to vote online you will need to sign in or

:29:40. > :29:49.register if you haven't already. We still have all of this to come.

:29:50. > :29:55.Because this dance is slow, you're a lot more exposed in your technique,

:29:56. > :30:04.so the technique has to be really good. It's awesome. The tango is not

:30:05. > :30:08.only sharp and staccato, but also quite low and driving and stamping

:30:09. > :30:17.along. We can't stop for lunch. It's going to be wild. Argentine tango

:30:18. > :30:25.has to be very strong, fierce, passionate. That just feels weird.

:30:26. > :30:29.Just get it out there. I am looking forward to all of that. What have

:30:30. > :30:33.you got there, Claud? Is the camera that Ed will be using for his

:30:34. > :30:39.routine. I want to take a selfie, but I don't know how it works. Why

:30:40. > :30:46.don't you just use my smartphone? That is genius! Thank you. Hello,

:30:47. > :30:56.Ed. Can you show me how your camera works, please? All right, meet you

:30:57. > :31:03.there. Thanks, Tess. Next tonight, Judge Rinder and his partner Oksana.

:31:04. > :31:08.This week, they are doing the rumba, the dance of love, which is perfect

:31:09. > :31:13.for the judge. He loves dancing, he loves being on Strictly and he loves

:31:14. > :31:22.having Oksana as a partner. Let's just hope our judges are feeling the

:31:23. > :31:27.love as well. How did you feel about the Blackpool experience? I will

:31:28. > :31:37.never forget it. I have never seen a guy shake their cheeks as well as

:31:38. > :31:42.that. I thought it was hiptastic. I forgot the steps but I felt like I

:31:43. > :31:49.was having a party. What a way of ending such a fantastic night.

:31:50. > :31:54.Uplifting, fabulous. This week, we are doing the rumba and I was a bit

:31:55. > :31:58.apprehensive about it. But the dance Oksana has choreographed is

:31:59. > :32:02.genuinely so beautiful. It is a story of how a teacher can come into

:32:03. > :32:08.your life and make you a dancer. All you have to do is lead on her. From

:32:09. > :32:13.the dance that I was most nervous about, it has quickly become the

:32:14. > :32:18.dance I am most looking forward to expressing. There is somebody I want

:32:19. > :32:22.Oksana to meet. She was a special teacher to me and this seems like a

:32:23. > :32:28.perfect opportunity. She is the person who did all the school plays

:32:29. > :32:33.and opened my eyes to the world. When I see Rob dance, I am so proud.

:32:34. > :32:38.It's been such a privilege to have two such amazing teachers who

:32:39. > :32:44.believe in me. And when the teachers believe, you can do anything.

:32:45. > :32:49.Dancing the rumba, Judge Rinder and Oksana Platero.

:32:50. > :34:57.Well done! You looked like you were lost in the dance. Did we lose you

:34:58. > :35:02.for a moment? You really did. Definitely not the best dance, but

:35:03. > :35:06.I've got the best teacher. Lovely! Did he embraced the character in the

:35:07. > :35:11.story of the dance, Darcey? It's difficult, because the narrative you

:35:12. > :35:17.were playing was slightly different for a rumba especially on the

:35:18. > :35:20.relationship between you. For me, I don't think it gave a purpose to all

:35:21. > :35:24.those moves. The narrative didn't follow through for me. That was a

:35:25. > :35:29.shame. It is incredibly difficult for a man to feel that fluid and

:35:30. > :35:33.have that confidence in those fluid moves. You created some nice

:35:34. > :35:37.extensions and nice lines, and you were using the floor. But I didn't

:35:38. > :35:45.feel comfortable. The wait was a bit far back at times. You didn't look

:35:46. > :35:54.as steady on your feet. It wasn't your best dance. Len? Not your best

:35:55. > :35:59.dance, but it certainly wasn't your best dance. I thought you had nice

:36:00. > :36:11.fluidity through your arm. New managed to get the hip action.

:36:12. > :36:16.Funnily enough, it looked a bit taut. It lacked a bit of naturalness

:36:17. > :36:25.to it. It was like, put that on there. That was what I felt. But

:36:26. > :36:34.this is a terrifically difficult dance for the men and I thought you

:36:35. > :36:39.coped admirably. Bruno? Don't worry, darling, everything is beautiful at

:36:40. > :36:43.the ballet. And you took your ballet lessons seriously. Of course at

:36:44. > :36:49.times, you did look like the dying swan. There was a lot of plunging

:36:50. > :36:54.and swaying, and very lyrical. But sometimes, you turned into a funky

:36:55. > :36:58.chicken. Instead of keeping it going, you were going kind of

:36:59. > :37:03.staccato, with the white backwards. That stopped the beautiful lyricism

:37:04. > :37:12.that at times, you had through your arms. It is very hard. It was a

:37:13. > :37:17.brave attempt to, my darling. Have you got a bit of love for the judge,

:37:18. > :37:24.Craig? I thought most of it was a bit too spiky. By thought it looked

:37:25. > :37:27.a bit awkward on you, to be honest. And I felt that your individual body

:37:28. > :37:33.parts were moving independently of your core, which was a shame. You

:37:34. > :37:38.need to be able to bring the whole thing together and you would have a

:37:39. > :37:50.lovely dance. What I love about you is that you are earnest, and that is

:37:51. > :37:52.commendable. Mixed comments from the judges, but we love you. Off you go.

:37:53. > :38:09.Judge Rinder and Oksana. I don't want you to be disheartened.

:38:10. > :38:16.You were worried about this dance, but then you loved the story. I

:38:17. > :38:26.loved it so much. And your teacher is here, Wendy. Not Wendy, she is

:38:27. > :38:30.Miss! All right, Miss! It has been the story of our journey, but it is

:38:31. > :38:52.true. Our teachers are amazing. The scores are in.

:38:53. > :39:01.We just have to win the Cha Cha Challenge. Of course! If you loved

:39:02. > :39:04.Judge Rinder and Oksana's rumba and want to see them back to dance again

:39:05. > :39:08.next week, all the details are on your screen. You can vote for them

:39:09. > :39:14.when voting opens at the end of the show. Still to come, Claudia dance

:39:15. > :39:19.is on a six foot cube. It is what you could call a square dance. Tess.

:39:20. > :39:27.Dancing next in the ballroom is Ed and his partner Katya.

:39:28. > :39:31.During his time on Strictly, Ed has embraced quite a few challenges,

:39:32. > :39:38.rescuing a damsel in distress, flying a piano and doing a salsa -

:39:39. > :39:47.Gangnam Style! Tonight, he will be a male model on a photo shoot. We

:39:48. > :39:49.can't wait to see him strike a pose. It was the greatest privilege to

:39:50. > :39:59.dance in Blackpool, coming down from the ceiling playing flaming piano

:40:00. > :40:05.was fabulous. You made Blackpool rock. We didn't manage to impress

:40:06. > :40:10.Craig, though. It looked like you were playing hopscotch in an all

:40:11. > :40:16.girls' school. We will just have to work hard. Let's smash it. This

:40:17. > :40:22.week, we are back to ballroom, doing tango. The character you are going

:40:23. > :40:28.to be playing is a male model. I'm excited because I have brought in a

:40:29. > :40:35.male model, Paul, to help add get into character for the tango. I am

:40:36. > :40:39.pleased you are here. Let's see what you have got. I was thinking

:40:40. > :40:44.something like... To sell this tango, I have got to get character

:40:45. > :40:50.with toys and determination. Paul has got to tell me how he does it.

:40:51. > :41:00.He just lay down, and he looked cool. I gave him some pointers.

:41:01. > :41:10.Hopefully, everything I have learned today, I can put into practice on

:41:11. > :41:11.the catwalk on Saturday night. Dancing the tango, Ed Balls and

:41:12. > :43:27.Katya Jones. Oh, Ed! On their feet. It is always

:43:28. > :43:32.a joy, isn't it? Shaking your little tush on the catwalk. Nice pout, by

:43:33. > :43:37.the way. Was that a model performance? You were dancing to

:43:38. > :43:41.great's signature song, I can't get no satisfaction! Ed Balls, you are

:43:42. > :43:46.more like lottery balls. You never know what is going to come out next.

:43:47. > :43:55.But I've got to say, plenty of tango content. It wasn't just larking

:43:56. > :44:00.about and messing around. Listen, you're not always the judges' number

:44:01. > :44:12.one choice, but 100%, you're the people's champion. Bruno. You make

:44:13. > :44:19.Zoolander look like a beginner! But I have to say, Ed, Ed Balls' weekly

:44:20. > :44:23.fix always hits the spot. You're like junk food. You know you

:44:24. > :44:30.shouldn't have it, but you can't help wanting more!

:44:31. > :44:37.Do you want more, Craig? No, thank you. Thank you for the rose,

:44:38. > :44:46.darling, but that's not going to save you on this occasion. Your

:44:47. > :44:51.frame, you are completely hunched over, splayed hands, sloppy feet on

:44:52. > :44:59.kick ball changes. I have to say, committed. I think, darling, after

:45:00. > :45:04.that you should be committed. Darcey. At the beginning your focus

:45:05. > :45:09.was great. That was outstanding. Then you started to lose it. I think

:45:10. > :45:13.you got carried away, whoever you were channelling, was it Mick

:45:14. > :45:18.Jagger? Lovely clipped movements and I did see, as Len said, some tango

:45:19. > :45:22.there. Suddenly you lost focus and that was a shame because I really

:45:23. > :45:27.thought there was going to be something good here. It's weird,

:45:28. > :45:31.just the stalking moments got a little bit bouncy, got to soften

:45:32. > :45:37.those knees, keep the shoulders down. I think you got carried away

:45:38. > :45:42.with your character, but nice. He loves a character. Throws himself

:45:43. > :45:48.into it. Can't fault the commitment. Thank you, off to Claudia. Ed and

:45:49. > :45:54.Katya! APPLAUSE AND

:45:55. > :46:01.CHEERING Ed, we think you are magnificent.

:46:02. > :46:07.You have to follow Gangnam and then coming in on a piano and then that.

:46:08. > :46:10.You work really hard. Male model, it's not really me. You say that,

:46:11. > :46:31.you look magnificent. We loved it. The scores are in.

:46:32. > :46:38.Same score as last week. You do - you focus on the good. That was a

:46:39. > :46:43.nice 7 from Len. Fabulous. Excellent and you have the cha-cha challenge.

:46:44. > :46:48.Which I think we might win. We all think that, Ed. If you think Ed has

:46:49. > :46:51.moves like Jagger and want to see hm and Katya back next week all the

:46:52. > :46:55.information is on the screen now. You can vote for them at the end of

:46:56. > :46:58.the show. You don't have long to wait. There is only one couple left

:46:59. > :47:03.to dance before the cha-cha challenge.

:47:04. > :47:05.The next couple is Claudia and her partner AJ.

:47:06. > :47:11.This week they're doing a dramatic Argentine Tango and after the shock

:47:12. > :47:21.of being in last week's dance-off, poor Claudia knows all about drama.

:47:22. > :47:25.Last Saturday was a little bit nerve-wracking because we were

:47:26. > :47:29.starting first and I wanted to do well. I wanted to get the party

:47:30. > :47:33.started. It was full-on, it was sharp. There was a little moment

:47:34. > :47:37.early on. Mistakes happen to the best of us, you picked it up and

:47:38. > :47:42.continued. Being in the dance-off was horrible. I knew you had an even

:47:43. > :47:45.better performance in you. To get saved and to be there another week I

:47:46. > :47:53.feel grateful for that and I do not want to be in that dance-off again.

:47:54. > :47:58.The Argentine tango is an epic dance, it's speed, quick turns and

:47:59. > :48:03.fast footwork, that's why I am going to take you go-carting. You do know

:48:04. > :48:10.I can't drive. Treat it like the dance floor, attack corners but keep

:48:11. > :48:15.the precision. Don't lose tempo, most importantly, don't finish last.

:48:16. > :48:22.I was so nervous because I never drove before. Which one is to go?

:48:23. > :48:30.Also I wanted to win. Claudia was so slow at driving. I must have lapped

:48:31. > :48:34.her at least four times. Aj! I was trying to be really competitive. I

:48:35. > :48:38.am upset I got beaten but I took it like a true Olympian. Let's hope I

:48:39. > :48:45.am better at dancing than driving on Saturday night.

:48:46. > :48:47.Dancing the Argentine Tango, Claudia Fragapane and AJ Pritchard.

:48:48. > :51:09.Breathtaking! Incredible performance. You put your heart and

:51:10. > :51:14.soul... She's back with a powerful performance. She doesn't want to be

:51:15. > :51:20.in the dance-off again. How did she do tonight? Those lifts, my darling,

:51:21. > :51:24.it was a tour de force. I can like a Red Arrow in a spectacular aerial

:51:25. > :51:29.display. I thought you were never going to land! When you land you are

:51:30. > :51:34.always strong, controlled, precise. Always very well placed and what I

:51:35. > :51:38.like to see now and you are doing it tonight, you are developing a

:51:39. > :51:44.dramatic persona. You are starting to play the part more. Engage with

:51:45. > :51:51.the character, not just... Continue to do that. That's the way to

:51:52. > :51:58.progress for you. Craig. I thought your legs could be a little bit

:51:59. > :52:01.looser for the gaunchos, I felt you were placing your legs in positions

:52:02. > :52:07.rather than being reactionary, but it didn't stop me loving it. Clean,

:52:08. > :52:15.precise, incredible. Incredible. Darcey. What Craig said, your

:52:16. > :52:20.balance, your control, no wonder - you were turning during those,

:52:21. > :52:26.nobody could do that. The strength to be able to produce those lifts,

:52:27. > :52:35.so stunningly, keeping the topline so calm is really impressive. I was

:52:36. > :52:40.totally taken aback. And, sorry, and, you were creating a - producing

:52:41. > :52:46.a sultry, moody character that now is a good, good thing. OK. This is a

:52:47. > :52:53.new Claudia we are seeing. This relationship has to build. I want to

:52:54. > :52:57.see more. A We like it. Len. What I love, you have total control over

:52:58. > :53:02.what you are doing. It was a mix of frisky and risky. Frisky in the

:53:03. > :53:08.movement. Risky lifts. Pulled them all off. I thought it was a knockout

:53:09. > :53:14.routine. I thought you did a great job. Amazing performance and amazing

:53:15. > :53:21.comments. What a way to bounce back after last week's dance-off. We

:53:22. > :53:21.loved it. Claudia and AJ, well done. APPLAUSE AND

:53:22. > :53:34.CHEERING Well done. What a comeback. I know

:53:35. > :53:40.being in the dance-off is horrible. The pros said that was the best

:53:41. > :53:45.chory for an Argentine tango, honestly, Natalie was blown away.

:53:46. > :53:50.You liked being fierce. I loved it. I went for it so much, at the end my

:53:51. > :53:54.toe popped out of my shoes. That's how much I went for it. It was

:53:55. > :53:58.fantastic. AJ, you said this might be your best dance. I loved it, it

:53:59. > :54:01.was the best week, doing the tricks and learning lifts, it was crazy and

:54:02. > :54:03.to pull it off on the night. Thank you so much, it was amazing. You are

:54:04. > :54:31.a great teacher. The scores are in. Same score you have had the last few

:54:32. > :54:34.weeks. We would have all given it at least 90. Just so you know. If you

:54:35. > :54:40.don't want Claudia and AJ crying a river all the details are on the

:54:41. > :54:45.screen now. So you can vote for them when the vote opens after the Cha

:54:46. > :54:46.Cha Challenge. You two have to get ready. You have approximately three

:54:47. > :54:57.minutes. While they get changed

:54:58. > :55:03.for the Cha-Cha Challenge, But with a maximum of 6 extra marks

:55:04. > :55:07.up for grabs tonight, Over the years, we've had

:55:08. > :55:10.a Waltzathon, we've had a Quickstepathon, but we've never

:55:11. > :55:17.had a Cha-Cha Challenge. It's a Strictly first. But what

:55:18. > :55:23.exactly is it, how does it work? And what does it even mean? Honestly, I

:55:24. > :55:32.have no idea. But thankfully we know a man who does. Len. It's back. The

:55:33. > :55:39.chance to see all six couples on the floor at the same time. This year

:55:40. > :55:43.there is a Latin twist with all the couples dancing a cha-cha-cha. Hold

:55:44. > :55:49.on, like any dancing competition, there are rules. There will be six

:55:50. > :55:52.couples in the cha-cha challenge. The professionals have drawn out of

:55:53. > :55:57.a hat which spot on the dance floor they're going to begin. So it's all

:55:58. > :56:03.above board. Rule two, once the music starts they must keep dancing

:56:04. > :56:07.for the duration of the music. Halfway through the challenge

:56:08. > :56:11.couples will be told to switch positions with the couple next to

:56:12. > :56:19.them. This way everyone gets the same amount of time in front of us,

:56:20. > :56:25.the judges. Rule three, no lifts. If any couple is deemed to have done a

:56:26. > :56:28.lift they will get no marks and will be disqualified.

:56:29. > :56:34.Rule four, make sure you get your technique right. We want to see good

:56:35. > :56:38.footwork, lovely hip action, rhythmic interpretation. So make

:56:39. > :56:41.sure you get it right on the night. Lastly, they will get their scores

:56:42. > :56:47.at the end of the dance. The weakest couple in the opinion of the judges

:56:48. > :56:54.will get the score of one. However, the strongest couple will get a

:56:55. > :56:59.score of six. The scoring will be added to the scores from the

:57:00. > :57:05.previous dance. This has the potential to well and truly shake up

:57:06. > :57:11.the leaderboard. Couples, get out there and cha-cha like you have

:57:12. > :57:14.never done before. APPLAUSE

:57:15. > :57:19.Thank you very much, Len. Whoever comes first in the cha-cha challenge

:57:20. > :57:22.will get an extra six marks, second will get five marks and so on until

:57:23. > :57:27.the bottom couple will receive the one extra mark. Those will be added

:57:28. > :57:30.to the existing scores. Now, Len, this feels a bit harsh. Our couples

:57:31. > :57:36.have never heard the music they're about to dance to. Why is that?

:57:37. > :57:40.Well, that's what you get in a normal ballroom or Latin

:57:41. > :57:45.competition. There's no rehearsals, no knowing what the music is. You

:57:46. > :57:52.have to take what you are given and get out there, stay on time. Keep

:57:53. > :57:56.rhythmic and give it plenty of welly! All the couples have changed

:57:57. > :58:01.positions midway through the challenge. Remind us why. It gives

:58:02. > :58:06.us as judges another opportunity to see them from different angles so we

:58:07. > :58:11.don't miss anything. Thank you very much. Bruno, what does it take to

:58:12. > :58:17.win, what are you looking for? First, you have to stand out for the

:58:18. > :58:22.right reasons. Ed. No, the thing you have to maintain the look of the

:58:23. > :58:27.dance all the way through. You can not start doing improvisations

:58:28. > :58:30.styles that are not the cha-cha. Obviously, timing, the correct

:58:31. > :58:35.motion especially on elusive hip action, don't stop and start because

:58:36. > :58:38.we are going to stop it. Impress the judges with your performance value.

:58:39. > :58:42.Thank you very much. The wait is finally over. It's time

:58:43. > :58:45.for the cha-cha challenge to commence.

:58:46. > :59:00.Please welcome all the Can all couples please now change

:59:01. > :01:00.positions. That was fantastic. Thank you all

:01:01. > :01:05.very much. What a visual feast. Let's see what the judges thought.

:01:06. > :01:10.Bruno, our first Cha Cha Challenge. What did you think? That was nerve

:01:11. > :01:14.wracking for me, let alone you! First, let me say how wonderful it

:01:15. > :01:23.is to see all of you having improved so much from which one. You all did

:01:24. > :01:29.a very good job. And you all maintained a gnat truck cha-cha-cha.

:01:30. > :01:33.You didn't go out in tangents. You could see it action going

:01:34. > :01:38.everywhere. Not everyone had the correct timing, but you have to

:01:39. > :01:41.expect in a situation like this, you never heard the music, but all of

:01:42. > :01:49.you did a wonderful job. We are still discussing. Craig, how close

:01:50. > :01:56.was it? To ask, they all looked magnificent. Oh, they weren't,

:01:57. > :02:03.darling. Rest assured. No, it was actually very difficult. We were

:02:04. > :02:07.screaming up here and having arguments about the whole thing. We

:02:08. > :02:13.have only just sorted it out, but what fun. Bruno is right, it's

:02:14. > :02:20.amazing to see so much wonderful hip action, all in this space. So, there

:02:21. > :02:25.is an extra six marks up for grabs for the winning couple. This could

:02:26. > :02:28.turn the leaderboard on its head. Solar, starting with sixth place,

:02:29. > :02:40.please reveal the results of the Cha Cha Challenge. In sixth place is Ed

:02:41. > :02:51.and Katya. This place is Judge Rinder and Oksana. Fourth place is

:02:52. > :03:02.Claudia and AJ. Third place is Ore and Joanne. Second is Danny and Oti.

:03:03. > :03:21.Which means our winner is Louise and Kevin. Oh, yes! Thank you very much,

:03:22. > :03:26.the judges. So, Louise and Kevin came first in the Cha Cha Challenge

:03:27. > :03:29.and get an extra six marks. Congratulations to you both. And

:03:30. > :03:35.commiserations to add and Katya, who finished last and receive just one

:03:36. > :03:51.extra mark. Let's see how those marks have affected the leaderboard.

:03:52. > :03:57.But it is not about the judges' score tonight. You can change

:03:58. > :04:01.everything by picking up the phone or going online to vote for your

:04:02. > :04:05.favourites. Judges, I know you have worked hard tonight. You have been

:04:06. > :04:10.mind-blowing, but I have one more job for you. Please help me out.

:04:11. > :04:12.Audience, we will do it together. Three, two, one, the vote is...

:04:13. > :04:38.Open! Thank you very much. The vote closes at 8.30 five. Please

:04:39. > :04:42.don't try to vote if you are watching undermined. Here is a

:04:43. > :04:43.reminder of our couples' routines and the all-important vote

:04:44. > :06:37.information. It's been a busy night in the

:06:38. > :06:40.ballroom. Our six stars have dazzled on the dance floor and now they are

:06:41. > :06:45.relying on you, so pick up the phone or go online to give them your

:06:46. > :06:48.support. Voting closes at 8.35 tonight, so you don't have much

:06:49. > :06:52.longer to vote for your favourite couple. Your votes could help them

:06:53. > :06:56.avoid the dance-off in tomorrow night's results show when sadly, one

:06:57. > :07:00.more couple will be eliminated from stricter come dancing. Only five can

:07:01. > :07:03.make it through to next week's quarterfinal, when Strictly goes to

:07:04. > :07:09.the musicals, and no one wants to miss out. Also tomorrow, we have a

:07:10. > :07:14.special performance from Ellie Goulding. And we have a spectacular

:07:15. > :07:18.sports day themed routine from our professional dancers. I will

:07:19. > :07:23.abbreviate if you bring the spoons. Michael McIntyre is coming up next.

:07:24. > :07:27.Join us tomorrow night at the slightly later time of 7.20. In the

:07:28. > :07:32.meantime... Keep dancing!
