2:10:36 > 2:10:41There was always a moment in the week when the dance finally clicked.

2:10:41 > 2:10:47Yes!The first dance is of course the most nerve-racking and what

2:10:47 > 2:10:52really scares you is when you stand there and he says, dancing the tango

2:10:52 > 2:11:00Brian Connelly... And you go, here we go, this is for real now.It was

2:11:00 > 2:11:03terrifying. I could literally feel my knees knocking.I actually

2:11:03 > 2:11:09thought my heart was going to stop. Boom boom, boom boom.It felt like

2:11:13 > 2:11:16can't think about the millions watching at home because that will

2:11:28 > 2:11:31Facing the judges is terrifying. As a comedian I've been critiqued in

2:11:31 > 2:11:34the past but not by four people standing straight in front of me.It

2:11:34 > 2:11:40was weird but it was wonderful. Perhaps Craig wasn't overwhelmed

2:11:40 > 2:11:45with enthusiasm for my dancing.All the problems really began, darling,

2:11:45 > 2:11:46when the cloud actually landed, didn't they?

2:11:46 > 2:11:53LAUGHTER Perhaps jealousy on his part, I

2:11:53 > 2:11:56can't comment.I hadn't been getting the most positive comments.You had

2:11:56 > 2:12:01a lot of mistakes and tended to go off time.But then came at the tango

2:12:01 > 2:12:05and I got four sixes and they said nice things.Great improvement, well

2:12:05 > 2:12:10done.You can't believe four sixes could mean so much to a person but

2:12:10 > 2:12:13it really did.You can't go through ace show like Strictly with such

2:12:13 > 2:12:17highs without there being some blows and I think for me it was being in

2:12:17 > 2:12:23the dance off is a terrifying experience.There is something you

2:12:23 > 2:12:26gain from being in the dance off, it kind of makes you stronger.I didn't

2:12:26 > 2:12:30want to leave because I had such a great time.Suddenly losing the

2:12:30 > 2:12:34place on the show you love is crushing.The last thing you want to

2:12:34 > 2:12:38do is go home but that's how it works.I don't think Strictly can be

2:12:38 > 2:12:42competitive anything I've ever done, or will compare to anything I will

2:12:42 > 2:12:47ever do.I, of course, would like to have won but there was something I

2:12:47 > 2:12:53wasn't doing right and it was dancing.Strictly for me was a

2:12:53 > 2:13:00dream.A big magical, crazy, sparkly dream.It was just really, really,

2:13:00 > 2:13:03really good fun.I wanted to show throughout the series that there is

2:13:03 > 2:13:07so much that disabled people can do. I feel I've climbed my Everest and

2:13:07 > 2:13:11stuck a flag at the top.I think I'm a different person, a nicer person,

2:13:11 > 2:13:15if I'm honest.I didn't have any idea how much I would fall in love

2:13:15 > 2:13:20with dancing.It was an extraordinary experience, just one
