:00:10. > :00:12.have I got an all-star cast for you tonight! They're ready to razzle and

:00:13. > :00:17.dazzle the judges this weekend. Patrick and his leading lady, Anya,

:00:18. > :00:21.will be on the sofa. I'll be heading up the Elstree

:00:22. > :00:25.Broadway to catch up with Abbey and Aljaz, and Sophie and Brendan. And

:00:26. > :00:31.I'm joined by a show-stopping Friday panel line-up of comedian Rufus

:00:32. > :00:36.Hound. Presenter Aled Jones. And model Victoria Silvstedt. This is

:00:37. > :01:28.Strictly: It Takes Two. From London, this is Strictly It

:01:29. > :01:42.Takes Two. Please welcome your host, Zoe Ball!

:01:43. > :01:52.# One winning combination # Every move that she makes... #

:01:53. > :01:58.Hello! Hello and welcome to It Takes Two.

:01:59. > :02:02.It's just over 24 hours and minutes till curtains up in Elstree. But,

:02:03. > :02:05.before we go on, a warning for those at home. I must inform you that the

:02:06. > :02:08.following programme contains musical puns that some viewers may find

:02:09. > :02:12.ridiculous. Anyway, the show must go on. Tomorrow night Patrick and Anya

:02:13. > :02:15.will be taking on the Charleston. I'll be chatting to them in just a

:02:16. > :02:21.minute, but first, let's remind ourselves of last weekend's action.

:02:22. > :02:25.Oxygen! Please, help me! You put a lot in there. It is just a shame you

:02:26. > :02:30.don't look as comfortable. I expect so much from you now and I want to

:02:31. > :02:34.see you here in four weeks' time. I didn't like the ending thing. That

:02:35. > :02:39.was ugly. Listen, it is not your best but it's certainly not your

:02:40. > :02:47.worst. You actually put a lot into it. You were hard, you worked hard

:02:48. > :02:53.to hold your shape. You will come back and redeem yourself. Your head

:02:54. > :03:02.position is bothering me in hold. It was unclear. You are falling between

:03:03. > :03:12.two stools for me. It felt fantastic really. Very good. Please welcome

:03:13. > :03:19.Patrick and Anya! Hello my darlings. Firstly, can we say Anya happy

:03:20. > :03:24.Thanksgiving? Thank you. But get any pumpkin pie yesterday? No, we

:03:25. > :03:30.celebrated with sushi. Deep fried. Thank you though. Well done last

:03:31. > :03:36.week, your Viennese waltz was utility stunning. Len was show

:03:37. > :03:41.charming, describing it as the good, the bad and the ugly. Thank you Len.

:03:42. > :03:45.Patrick, did you enjoy it on the floor? I loved it. I really love

:03:46. > :03:51.doing it, so that was key for me. What do you particularly love about

:03:52. > :03:56.it? The lyrical fluidity of the whole thing, where you keep moving

:03:57. > :04:01.and it is smooth and you keep going round and round the floor. And the

:04:02. > :04:06.control when you do get it right, it is beautiful. You are teaching him

:04:07. > :04:12.so well. Let's talk about liftgate and the lift that wasn't a lift or

:04:13. > :04:17.was it a lift? Craig was on the show and all the pros say it wasn't a

:04:18. > :04:23.lift. Craig has said he will apologise if he was wrong. I would

:04:24. > :04:27.love to say there was no lift at all times. No, my foot is on the floor.

:04:28. > :04:34.It is clearly on the floor. Would you like the apology in writing or

:04:35. > :04:40.in wine? We will have that for you. No, I don't need an apology. He said

:04:41. > :04:46.he had quite a bit of a bad angle, so this is what happens. But

:04:47. > :04:50.standing anyway -- stunning anyway. The judges weren't happy with the

:04:51. > :04:54.ending, like, what was this bit and that bit? It was beautiful for the

:04:55. > :05:02.rest of us watching? To be honest with you, looking back I wouldn't

:05:03. > :05:05.change it. The name of the song was A New Day Has Come and it needed to

:05:06. > :05:13.be bigger of the. A New Day Has Come and it needed to

:05:14. > :05:18.be bigger of the It needed sense to the rest of us. Everyone is entitled

:05:19. > :05:22.to their opinions. You took the criticism very well on the show, but

:05:23. > :05:24.the judges need to watch out and better not give you any low scores.

:05:25. > :05:42.Let this be a warning. You have a tutor teaching. It was

:05:43. > :06:06.horrible and you have to do it again.

:06:07. > :06:16.I'm too tired. She's so strong and powerful.

:06:17. > :06:29.APPLAUSE That was so good. Magical. Our VT team are so much fun. That's

:06:30. > :06:34.great. Would you like a VHS of that to take home? Yes please. Do they

:06:35. > :06:38.still exist. Tomorrow is the Charleston. How confident are you

:06:39. > :06:42.feeling, Patrick? I love it. I was a little apprehensive. In terms of the

:06:43. > :06:46.musicals, the numbers that everyone was going to get, I was excited I

:06:47. > :06:51.would get something Hollywood and my kind of thing that I love to watch

:06:52. > :06:56.Gene Kelly and I got Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I thought, oh, OK. But

:06:57. > :07:01.the choreography and the version of the music they put together... It is

:07:02. > :07:06.fantastic. Let's have a little listen and the child will come out

:07:07. > :07:13.in all of us. # And you Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,

:07:14. > :07:17.Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this is what we'll do... #

:07:18. > :07:21.As long as the child catcher isn't around. Craig? Just skidding! Karen

:07:22. > :07:25.Hardy says this has been the series of the Charleston. Do you feel any

:07:26. > :07:31.pressure? You've got to follow quite a few Chancellors that have gone

:07:32. > :07:36.before, or are you like, no, this is musicals week and we are dancing to

:07:37. > :07:41.Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? We are so lucky to get the Charleston on

:07:42. > :07:44.musical week. It is very iconic, so I want to do justice to the song and

:07:45. > :07:48.the movie, so we are trying to keep it traditional. Obviously theatre

:07:49. > :07:53.needs to be big and smiles and character, so we hope to put that

:07:54. > :08:01.in. Absolutely. For me it's been great doing the Charleston. That

:08:02. > :08:05.style is fantastic. Sophie's Charleston with Brendan for me was

:08:06. > :08:10.one of the dances of the series. So to try to do another Charleston in a

:08:11. > :08:14.similar style... It is definitely going to be different. I want wait.

:08:15. > :08:20.And you came from musical as. Isn't that where you started in your

:08:21. > :08:24.career? The am-dram, before I went to drama school, from 14 I did

:08:25. > :08:37.musical as, one every year. I was lucky enough to play Danny duck o in

:08:38. > :08:42.-- Devony Zuko in Greece. -- Danny Zuko in Grease. I love musicals so

:08:43. > :08:51.much. Will there be any car-related

:08:52. > :08:56.choreography at all? A little. So Sort of, kind of, in a roundabout

:08:57. > :09:01.kind of way. They are saying nothing. Ian when he was looking at

:09:02. > :09:06.the training room footage on Wednesday was saying he thought your

:09:07. > :09:10.matching choreography moves were brilliant and he was hoping you

:09:11. > :09:19.might get some 10s this week. What do you make of that? What did you

:09:20. > :09:25.say? Hello! We want it to go well and to be smooth. That's the goal -

:09:26. > :09:31.to just bring the joy and energy and technique, a lot of technique. I'm

:09:32. > :09:47.just going to enjoy it. You are going to make a lovely Truly Scrump

:09:48. > :09:51.eruptous -- scrum ous. Last week Lucky the pup predicted Natalie and

:09:52. > :09:53.Artem would be the box office hitment hurrah. Let's see which guy

:09:54. > :10:36.and doll he's chosen this week. I thought that top hat smelled a bit

:10:37. > :10:43.funny earlier on. He thinks Abbey and Aljaz will be bathing in West

:10:44. > :10:47.Side glory tomorrow night. Earlier I Mary Poppinsed up to Elstree to

:10:48. > :10:52.catch up with some of our celebrity chore cuss line. Over to my

:10:53. > :10:57.understudy. It's me in the big studio. Musicals

:10:58. > :11:03.week, I've told you before how excited I am. I want to cut a few

:11:04. > :11:08.moves. Look who is over here, it is Abbey and Aljaz. Hello my darlings.

:11:09. > :11:14.How are you? How are you feeling about your salsa? Still excited. I

:11:15. > :11:18.love the song and that disco vibe. It is quite scary. You practise it

:11:19. > :11:24.in the studio and it is just the two of you and when you bring it into

:11:25. > :11:29.the studio and have to do it in front of everybody... It is scary

:11:30. > :11:37.and fun. We have dancers as well. It is like a proper disco dream. How

:11:38. > :11:43.did rehearsal go? It could have gone better. Yes, for the first one in

:11:44. > :11:48.studio was good. Any little thing you need to work on before tomorrow?

:11:49. > :11:53.It is the commitment. You come in, the first run, different steps and

:11:54. > :11:56.it is a different room. We need to make sure the steps are here and

:11:57. > :12:03.after she gets comfortable with that we need to make sure the commitment

:12:04. > :12:08.and the face... And I'm leaving it late to learn the steps, the day

:12:09. > :12:14.before. How are your shoes? Don't zoom in. My shoes are good. These

:12:15. > :12:21.are my old shoes. They'll all be buying the Abbey Crouch outfit. They

:12:22. > :12:28.are all scraped. It will be good. Do the others give you any tips. Do the

:12:29. > :12:32.celebrities say if you do this and do that? Yes, everybody's great.

:12:33. > :12:37.Most people have done all the dances now. It is like, what did you do on

:12:38. > :12:41.your one, give us tips, and the promise are always willing to help.

:12:42. > :12:49.You've got such a great number tomorrow night. You get yourselves

:12:50. > :12:53.ready. Have a nosey along here. It looks scruffy when nobody is here

:12:54. > :12:58.but it will be posh by Saturday night. Here's Sophie and Brendan.

:12:59. > :13:01.What happened since I last saw you? You come into the studio on a

:13:02. > :13:07.Friday. Have you had a go on the floor of your Viennese waltz? Yes.

:13:08. > :13:12.How did it go? It was really cool, but there's so many spins at the

:13:13. > :13:16.end, I saw all the studio lights going around and around. Do you have

:13:17. > :13:22.to hold Sophie up dead? I tend to remember Ian holding me steady a

:13:23. > :13:27.bit. We go around a lot at the end. Have you counted how many times? I

:13:28. > :13:33.think it is 12. It is that moment of, are you on balance, have I got

:13:34. > :13:38.you, have you got me, can we stand? And hopefully over to Brucie

:13:39. > :13:43.upright. When you come in and do rehearsals on a Friday, do you watch

:13:44. > :13:48.everyone else's rehearsals? How scared do you get when you see other

:13:49. > :13:51.people's work? It is not scary. It is lovely. It is nice seeing the

:13:52. > :13:58.fruits of everybody's labour. You are such a good family. Everyone

:13:59. > :14:04.gets on really well. That's true. Who are your best buddies? Legal

:14:05. > :14:09.everyone. There's nobody I haven't got on with really. You have to vote

:14:10. > :14:14.for your favourites of course. Any props this week? It is musicals.

:14:15. > :14:19.Musicals week is a big week. There is a lot going on. It is one of

:14:20. > :14:25.those epic ones where the audience look forward to it, we look forward

:14:26. > :14:30.to it. It is proptastic. I've seen some stuff I want to steal for my

:14:31. > :14:38.house actually. Have you seen your coast afternoons? Yes. -- have you

:14:39. > :14:46.seen your costumes? Yes. We are dancing to The Sound Of Music, so

:14:47. > :14:52.I'm in a nightie. I'm a nun and they always have a spark costume on. I

:14:53. > :14:58.went to a con vent school and I can vouch for that. There might be Von

:14:59. > :15:02.Trapp action going on. You guys get ready and do whatever you have to

:15:03. > :15:07.do. Good luck tomorrow. Enjoy the show you lot. Because you've been so

:15:08. > :15:10.good all week, here especially for you a snippet of Abbey and Aljaz's

:15:11. > :15:46.salsa. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:15:47. > :15:53.Are they singing, "What you doing in your bed?" That's what I thought. We

:15:54. > :16:00.are arguing over the Bee Gees lyrics. Back the Ball. I don't know

:16:01. > :16:05.who she is but she's very annoying. After nine it is safe to say our

:16:06. > :16:07.couples have got to know each other very well, but how do they feel

:16:08. > :16:19.about their partners? Kevin is brilliant and he's been so,

:16:20. > :16:25.so good and so patient, I can't believe it. He's just been

:16:26. > :16:29.brilliant. Susanna is great to get on with. She's become like a best

:16:30. > :16:34.mate. We are on this journey together and it means a lot. Iveta,

:16:35. > :16:39.apart from being an amazing dancer, is a brilliant teacher, because

:16:40. > :16:44.she's got such patience. I reform really happy I got paired with Mark.

:16:45. > :16:49.He's the perfect partner for me. It is just so enjoyable. I don't want

:16:50. > :16:53.this series to ever end. Artem sees your potential and wants the

:16:54. > :16:59.absolute best for you, so he's got a really lovely way of working where

:17:00. > :17:04.he can see what you could be. I definitely feel like I made a good

:17:05. > :17:07.friend, with my partner. I honestly cannot imagine even for a second in

:17:08. > :17:12.my head to be partnered with anybody else. Ola's been amazing. One of the

:17:13. > :17:18.hardest things I find in dancing is the smiling. When I'm looking atoll

:17:19. > :17:23.la I find it easy, as she's got a face that makes you smile. I have a

:17:24. > :17:31.lovely friend in Ashley and he tries so hard to make me proud of him and

:17:32. > :17:36.that's really lovely. It's been really nice to work with somebody

:17:37. > :17:40.who knows so well not how to teach but what I'm going through. Brendan

:17:41. > :17:45.is the best partner I could have had. Sophie is a delightful girl.

:17:46. > :17:49.She comes in with the best attitude you would possibly ask for every

:17:50. > :17:55.day. You couldn't ask for more than she's giving me. I love Aljaz. He is

:17:56. > :17:59.just an amazing person and I really enjoy every second of rehearsals

:18:00. > :18:03.with him. I think I've bonded really well with Abbey. We have become

:18:04. > :18:07.really good friends. I can't wait for the season to go on and we are

:18:08. > :18:11.going to get even better and better. Patrick is an awesome partner, a

:18:12. > :18:17.really great person to work with. I just want to thank him, because he's

:18:18. > :18:21.truly doing a superb job. I love dancing with annia. I can't imagine

:18:22. > :18:30.being partnered with anyone else. She is pretty special, so thank you.

:18:31. > :18:33.It is getting pretty emotional. That's how they feel about each

:18:34. > :18:47.other but how do our next guests rate them? It is our fabulous Friday

:18:48. > :18:53.Panel. It is Rufus Hound, Aled Jones and Victoria Silvstedt. Look at you

:18:54. > :18:59.three! Hello! What a lovely threesome. I love the cardigan. The

:19:00. > :19:07.big chill's on its way. You are doing the Christmas show and you've

:19:08. > :19:11.got Flavia, you lucky man. Allised since this was announced was people

:19:12. > :19:15.I haven't known - men I haven't known for years - getting in contact

:19:16. > :19:20.asking for various contact details and measurements. It is utterly

:19:21. > :19:25.inappropriate. How ridiculous. I've been bombarded. How's the training

:19:26. > :19:29.going? It is going very well. We are at that point where we kind of know

:19:30. > :19:34.what it is. I didn't think it would be going as well as it is. It is the

:19:35. > :19:39.Christmas show, so you can get away with a bit more. Have a bit more

:19:40. > :19:44.fun. Victoria, is you are here promoting your lingerie range, but

:19:45. > :19:49.you were of course on the Italian Dancing With The Stars. I was. "Ooh

:19:50. > :19:53.la la". I was doing a salsa, a special appearance for the first

:19:54. > :19:59.episode. The Italians do it the naughty style. Oh yes! I've seen

:20:00. > :20:04.that. "Ooh la la", but it was fun. I got three hours to practise before

:20:05. > :20:09.the live show. That's all? My feet were bleeding. I had bluesers but I

:20:10. > :20:13.can't believe how much fun it was. Do you remember your score? I got a

:20:14. > :20:21.lot different was the first show though. The worst was a 5. I got 5,

:20:22. > :20:32.7 and 8. Not bad for a first. It was a lot of who la-hole la style. Aled

:20:33. > :20:38.a, as a veteran of Strictly, who are you loving this year? I'm loving

:20:39. > :20:42.Brendan and Sophie. I think... That could be taken out of context. I do

:20:43. > :20:48.love Brendan, but you knew that anyway. I think they are great. But

:20:49. > :20:52.everyone's pretty good, it is much better than when I did it. That's

:20:53. > :20:58.what I say. We didn't do anything did we? ? Love your Christmas single

:20:59. > :21:04.with Sir Terry Wogan. Thank you. You're the only one. What is it? A

:21:05. > :21:11.Perry Como song. It is beautiful. You should buy it. We are going to

:21:12. > :21:14.start with Mark and Iveta. They are doing the Samba. Victoria, Mark has

:21:15. > :21:19.been in the bottom two for three weeks in a row. Looking at this in

:21:20. > :21:26.training, can he avoid the bottom two this week? I do think so. He's a

:21:27. > :21:31.hard worker, obviously. It is all about personality and feelings. He

:21:32. > :21:37.is passionate, he's a fighter. The reason they got the claw is they are

:21:38. > :21:42.dancing to this from the Lion King. I think they are going to be dressed

:21:43. > :21:48.as little lions. It is going to be glorious. What do you think to all

:21:49. > :21:54.of that rolled into together? It is quite a long thing. Mark makes an

:21:55. > :21:57.incredible point about what's changed with Strictly viewers series

:21:58. > :22:02.on series, right? We know the judges have to mark the dancing, so he

:22:03. > :22:08.scores very lowly, but it was meant to be that you at home voted for

:22:09. > :22:13.what you enjoyed the most. I think what's changed is that year on year

:22:14. > :22:17.people at home have become armchair experts and they are now voting for

:22:18. > :22:22.technique. Everyone who watches marsh says, I loved it, but I'm not

:22:23. > :22:27.voting for it, because there was no rise and fall. A and he stays in.

:22:28. > :22:32.The judges then vote with their hearts not their heads and he stays

:22:33. > :22:40.because of that. He is a big Teddy bear. Natalie and Artem are doing

:22:41. > :22:46.the American smooth. They are dancing to Jennifer Hudson's song

:22:47. > :22:50.from Dreamgirls. Aled, could they be top of the leaderboard again this

:22:51. > :22:53.week? Looking at that, it is perfect. It is difficult to tell who

:22:54. > :22:58.is the professional dancer and who isn't. There isn't a mistake in it

:22:59. > :23:02.already, and that was a day ago. I think they are perfect. What do you

:23:03. > :23:07.think, having a little look at them there Victoria? I was asking who is

:23:08. > :23:12.the professional there, because it is too perfect. My God. Incredible.

:23:13. > :23:20.We need to see some mistakes, so people can say yes! Or dress up like

:23:21. > :23:28.little lions. Ashley and Ola are doing a rumba. Last week's waltz

:23:29. > :23:32.made him the top-rank male of the show. What do you reckon? Due

:23:33. > :23:38.remember when Strictly started there was a lot of talk about the men

:23:39. > :23:41.looking like men and not dancing like ladies. I think there ask a bit

:23:42. > :23:48.of floppy hand there. You have to own it a bit more, especially with

:23:49. > :23:56.Ola Jordan. The reason James is like he is because he is married to that!

:23:57. > :24:06.You know what I mean. Let's hear their music. You don't know A Whole

:24:07. > :24:12.New World? It is a bit wet. For a rumba it is meant to be sexy isn't

:24:13. > :24:17.it? It is musicals week. He is a brilliant dancer but I agree with

:24:18. > :24:22.you. He looked a bit stiff. He needs to be a bit more naughty. Be a man

:24:23. > :24:27.and be naughty. There is no reason it won't be brilliant. Just between

:24:28. > :24:31.when that was filmed and tomorrow, he's got to find it. Ashley, take

:24:32. > :24:36.note! LAUGHTER I love you all. They are

:24:37. > :24:39.doing a quickstep last week. Last week the cha-cha-cha wasn't great

:24:40. > :24:44.with the judges. Victoria, what do you make of this for a quickstep? Do

:24:45. > :24:49.you like these two? I like it. She is entertaining to watch, it is fun,

:24:50. > :24:54.and she is enjoying it. And technique? I don't know much about

:24:55. > :25:00.the quickstep, is it supposed to be fast? This is from singing in the

:25:01. > :25:07.rain. It's a done deal. Show hands. I'm going to sit on them. Stop! Do

:25:08. > :25:10.you like Susanna and Kevin? I think they are brilliant and that song

:25:11. > :25:16.suits the dance. It will get everyone on their feet. Guaranteed.

:25:17. > :25:22.And the quickstep works with compact people, little short and sharp...

:25:23. > :25:26.And she's got that in spades. Abbey and Aljaz are doing a salsa. We need

:25:27. > :25:33.the music when looking at the training. They are dancing to the

:25:34. > :25:38.bingies from -- to the begees from Saturday Night Fever. Rufus, is she

:25:39. > :25:42.looking in control in this? Looking at this, this is one of those

:25:43. > :25:46.classic cases of somebody who joined the competition and you went, with

:25:47. > :25:50.yeah, I will give you week five, but week on week has got stronger and

:25:51. > :25:56.stronger. That's somebody going all out to win. She's not mucking about

:25:57. > :26:02.now. What's changed? What has changed? You tell me. I don't know!

:26:03. > :26:06.I think they want to win. It is getting near the final. People

:26:07. > :26:10.really want to win. You did the salsa on dancing with the stars.

:26:11. > :26:14.What do you need? It is all about the feeling. The you have to feel

:26:15. > :26:20.it. It is about had hips and the feeling. "Ooh la la". I love Abbey

:26:21. > :26:28.and I think she will do great. Sophie and Brendan are doing a

:26:29. > :26:32.Viennese waltz. This is to My Favourite Things from The Sound Of

:26:33. > :26:37.Music. Look at that! Beautiful. Aled, the judges thought her rumba

:26:38. > :26:42.was a bit cold. Is this Viennese waltz looking warmer to you? I think

:26:43. > :26:46.they were wrong. I loved it. She is so elegant. I think this is really

:26:47. > :26:50.going to suit her. A genius choice of song. They look like they are

:26:51. > :26:53.having a good time. Beautiful. Roof use, sound of music, will it be a

:26:54. > :26:59.winner with the judges, do you think? The thing about Sophie Ellis

:27:00. > :27:04.Becks ster is as a pop star it was a bit removed. Murder on the

:27:05. > :27:09.dancefloor is emotionless. It is not that she is a wonderful, warm,

:27:10. > :27:14.loving human being, but she is just a bit like that. If that's who you

:27:15. > :27:24.are and that's the dance you bring us, that can be a true reflection of

:27:25. > :27:29.of who you are. Do you like that? That's alright isn't it? That's what

:27:30. > :27:35.she is like. I love him. Patrick and Anya are doing the Charleston. They

:27:36. > :27:49.are dancing to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Did you Potts? I did. Everyone

:27:50. > :27:54.will enjoy that. They looked really good. Victoria, do you like the look

:27:55. > :27:59.of Patrick? I love Patrick. He is definitely going to get one 10 out

:28:00. > :28:05.of this. You are the second person to say that this week. Rufus, do you

:28:06. > :28:11.like? Charlestons this year have blown everybody apart. Brilliant.

:28:12. > :28:14.And this, if this joins the league of great Charlestons this series, I

:28:15. > :28:21.think he again could emerge as somebody who has gone on a real -

:28:22. > :28:26.hate the word, I'm going to say the J word - journey. He said it! Who

:28:27. > :28:33.would you like to see lift the trophy this year Rufus? Well, that's

:28:34. > :28:38.a tricky question. I think Susanna will win it, because she is totemic

:28:39. > :28:46.of the people who like this show. Victoria? I will go with Patrick.

:28:47. > :28:51.Nice. Aled? Sophie and Brendan. Good luck with the Christmas show.

:28:52. > :29:01.Thank you so much for
