:00:08. > :00:15.Welcome to Friday's It Takes Two. Tonight, it is all about the boys

:00:15. > :00:25.hoping to smooth over the judges after last week's chatter job, it is

:00:25. > :00:29.Ashley and person Ola! Juliet and Janette are here! Plus, I will have

:00:29. > :00:34.an exclusive onset catch-up with Ben, Kristina, Mark and Iveta in

:00:34. > :01:27.Elstree. What a lovely bunch. This is It Takes Two.

:01:27. > :02:02.Live from London, this is Friday's It Takes Two. In

:02:02. > :02:36.There is another tattered tart in the Devon area, where Deborah

:02:36. > :02:40.embraces the Latin spirit. And they hazy fog is causing problems over

:02:40. > :02:45.Birmingham, where Rachel Riley, bless her, struggles with the

:02:45. > :02:48.salsa. Fingers crossed, it is a clear sky by tomorrow night.

:02:48. > :02:55.Finally, damp and drizzly patches in the Watford area as they saturated

:02:55. > :03:01.Tony struggles with the speed of the child and training.

:03:01. > :03:06.We have just heard that the Brucie is feeling a bit under the weather,

:03:06. > :03:10.so he will not be on the show tomorrow night. It will be Claudia

:03:10. > :03:16.and Tess Daly. Get well soon, Brucie. If, like me, you are a fan

:03:16. > :03:24.of this year's new look strict Lee opening titles, here is a look at

:03:24. > :03:29.how they were made. Today is an important day. We are doing the

:03:29. > :03:33.identical photos, everything you will see for the whole show. The

:03:33. > :03:38.titles are played at the top of every show, so we want to get it

:03:38. > :03:44.right. We have to choreograph every bit, so it is exciting. I would be

:03:44. > :03:51.like -- I would like to be doing them in six weeks' time after a few

:03:51. > :03:54.lessons. We are doing all of the couples against a green screen

:03:54. > :04:05.background, and then we will fill in the sparkly sets. Three, two, one,

:04:05. > :04:11.action! I am having an amazing time. I turned up wearing doll clothes,

:04:11. > :04:15.and this magical thing happens. The frocks and hairdos are lovely. Every

:04:15. > :04:24.time I remember the bit about the dancing, I get this fear. I have got

:04:24. > :04:32.James Jordan! I am absolutely chuffed. I can understand that. I am

:04:32. > :04:39.going to watch him now, get the scorecards out. These professional

:04:39. > :04:48.dancers have got a job on their hands with all of us. Don't lean,

:04:48. > :04:51.don't do this, do that. I am having my bosoms sewn into the dress so

:04:51. > :05:03.that they don't fall out and give James the fight of his life. Wow!

:05:03. > :05:09.Pasha and I are about to have a publicity photo taken as a fully

:05:09. > :05:16.formed Strictly couple. So he is going to shuffle me into various

:05:16. > :05:22.positions. Make it look natural. I am really nervous today. She has not

:05:22. > :05:29.done much photo shooting in her life. We are doing all the bits and

:05:29. > :05:37.pieces that go into making the beginning of the show, when they

:05:37. > :05:45.say, here are Fiona and Anton. Do a salsa step. As if I know what I am

:05:45. > :05:53.talking about! He is amazing at golf. But the dancing, he will have

:05:53. > :05:59.to work. I am already telling him off to stand straight. He will have

:05:59. > :06:08.to get used to that. His moves are unique. I think he is a natural. The

:06:08. > :06:19.there is evidence of working hard. Or I am really heavy. Just kidding.

:06:19. > :06:27.Do you mind? We are doing a deal. And cut! On Friday night, Ashley's

:06:27. > :06:31.dance did not dazzle the judges, but he did manage to catch the eye of

:06:31. > :06:36.one Mr Craig Revel Horwood. I will be chatting to him and Ola in a

:06:36. > :06:40.minute, but first, here is a recap of their performance. Could have

:06:40. > :06:52.been a bit crisper, but Ashley, sail on. Your timing was very good, and

:06:52. > :06:57.your face, when you were admiring Ola's Derry air, that was a

:06:57. > :07:03.picture. Very confident first dance, really impressive. Your hips are a

:07:03. > :07:17.marble -- admirable, darling. Easy on the eye. Five. Six. Seven. Seven.

:07:17. > :07:31.I am glad we have done it. We did it! Please welcome Ashley and Ola!

:07:31. > :07:42.Congratulations on the birth of baby Mason. Round of applause! It was

:07:42. > :07:47.very easy! How other family? My incredible Mrs Karen is fine. It is

:07:47. > :07:51.so nice that the baby is there now. When the phone goes, I don't have to

:07:51. > :07:57.start shaking and sweating. Happy times. Baby aside, let's talk about

:07:58. > :08:03.dancing. It is all going on. Last week, you had mixed remarks from the

:08:03. > :08:08.judges, some great, some not so great. What have you taken away from

:08:08. > :08:10.it? As soon as I had done the dance, that was just a massive

:08:10. > :08:18.relief. I could not breathe. I could not

:08:18. > :08:23.even speak. So I was just hoping they didn't ask me anything. It went

:08:23. > :08:29.in one ear and out of the other. I have listened back to it, and it is

:08:29. > :08:34.all constructive criticism. I will do my best. You are right, your

:08:34. > :08:39.mouth gets so dry that your lips get stuck to your teeth. Ola, how hard

:08:39. > :08:46.has it been to loosen Ashley's hips up? He is quite hard. We are working

:08:46. > :08:53.on the footwork, hips, arms, everything needs work. So there is

:08:53. > :09:01.only one place to go, it can go up. You sound quietly confident. Um,

:09:01. > :09:05.yeah! Well, snake hips or not, the viewers at home love you. Sandra

:09:05. > :09:09.says if week one is anything to go by, this chap has definite

:09:09. > :09:14.potential. He has with and acting skills, should go far and easy on

:09:14. > :09:19.the eye, to . Which was said by a lot of people. You do have the

:09:19. > :09:27.acting background. As that given you any kind of advantage? It should

:09:27. > :09:31.give me an advantage. Being on a stage, you are used to performing,

:09:31. > :09:37.but it is an alien thing in a ballroom. So I can relate to the

:09:37. > :09:42.song, and that will help. The song is easier for me with the next

:09:42. > :09:48.dance. Whereas the One Direction song was very cheesy and it was hard

:09:48. > :09:56.to smile all the way through that. Am I really dancing to One

:09:56. > :10:00.Direction? But yeah, you get used to an audience. I find it easier if

:10:00. > :10:03.there is an audience, because it gives you something to smile at,

:10:04. > :10:13.whereas in rehearsals, I can't smile. You give yourself quite a

:10:13. > :10:19.hard time. It is something I feel I really have to work on, my body as a

:10:20. > :10:30.whole. I have got these big, long, ape-like arms. And these long,

:10:30. > :10:42.spindly legs. Spaghetti legs. I just looked like a big jelly dance. A bit

:10:42. > :10:55.like Bambi on ice. I find it hard to make myself look good when I dance.

:10:55. > :10:58.I can't be bothered any more! Sue you are doing the American move

:10:58. > :11:05.tomorrow. What type of Americans move is it and how is he getting on?

:11:05. > :11:09.It is Hollywood glamour, beautiful. We are enjoying it. I think it will

:11:09. > :11:16.be a good dance for Ashley. It is based on the F. This is the music

:11:16. > :11:21.you are listening to, Beyond The Sea, the Robbie Williams version. It

:11:21. > :11:26.has been a hectic week. You have had a baby and had Hollyoaks, have you

:11:27. > :11:32.done much training? We are training on Monday nights. I got in at 12.30

:11:32. > :11:37.and then my wife came in and said, I think I might be going into labour!

:11:37. > :11:41.So Tuesday was just a write-off. So was Monday. On Wednesday, we had

:11:42. > :11:47.some time. To be fair, the relief of knowing that my Mrs is OK and the

:11:47. > :11:56.baby is healthy made me smile a lot more. It is a relief. I am impressed

:11:56. > :12:06.at how much training you got in. We got you a little present for baby

:12:06. > :12:13.Mason. That is lovely! Good luck tomorrow, Ola and Ashley! Tomorrow

:12:13. > :12:16.night, that the first time in strict Lee history, you can vote for your

:12:16. > :12:23.favourite couple online for free. Just head to the BBC website to

:12:23. > :12:30.register your details, and you can get voting when the lines open

:12:30. > :12:34.tomorrow night's show. I asked you earlier which one of the judges you

:12:34. > :12:39.would like to see on the dance floor. Ashley? It would have to be

:12:39. > :12:48.Craig. I would find something to say. Len. I can reveal the results.

:12:48. > :12:54.38.9% of you wanted to see Craig on the dance floor. Sadly, it might not

:12:54. > :13:00.happen, but we can put pressure on. But earlier today, I headed to the

:13:00. > :13:03.Strictly set for an exclusive chat with Ben and Christine and Mark and

:13:03. > :13:13.Iveta. But first, let's do to know more about Iveta. Take it away, Ms

:13:13. > :13:20.Lukosiute. My name is Iveta Lukosiute, and I am originally from

:13:20. > :13:26.Lithuania. I have literally been dancing from the moment I started to

:13:26. > :13:30.walk. I have been teaching since I was 18. All personalities, different

:13:30. > :13:37.levels, from beginners to professionals. So I hope that will

:13:37. > :13:42.help me. On last year's Strictly, one of the dancers got injured, and

:13:42. > :13:47.I stepped in, and that gave me a taste of what it is. I can't wait to

:13:47. > :13:54.get my teeth into it. The non-Strictly is a dream come true.

:13:54. > :13:59.-- being an Strictly is a dream come true. Here we are on the Strictly

:13:59. > :14:03.set for the first time. And as it is Friday, it is the last chance our

:14:03. > :14:10.couples have rehearse for the big night. Over there are Ben Cohen and

:14:10. > :14:21.Kristina, waltzing. # What the world needs now is Love,

:14:21. > :14:32.sweet love. # It's the only thing that there is

:14:32. > :14:37.just too little of. How good does that look? Ben Cohen

:14:37. > :14:51.and Kristina Rihanoff, have a seat. Nice to meet you.

:14:51. > :15:00.It is looking good. First, let's talk about your first weekend on

:15:00. > :15:05.the show. You are a sportsman and you are used to performing under

:15:05. > :15:11.pressure. Did it help? Absolutely not. I was completely out of my

:15:11. > :15:16.comfort zone and it was completely alien to me. No matter how much

:15:16. > :15:22.rehearsing we had done, it is hard to explain. I had only danced for

:15:22. > :15:29.12 days, it was not really dancing anywhere. I have only done a

:15:29. > :15:34.drunken stumble before. Do you think the judges could have gone a

:15:34. > :15:39.bit softer in the first week? I know, they were very tough.

:15:39. > :15:44.Watching it back out thought it was a good dance for the very first

:15:44. > :15:50.time for somebody like him who has never danced before. I thought they

:15:50. > :15:56.were really mean. Especially Craig. Why is he so mean? You will win him

:15:56. > :16:02.over. What do you two little ones make of their daddy? They are

:16:02. > :16:09.surprised. What are you doing on TV? They are supportive and they

:16:09. > :16:15.come down and watch. Do they practise with you at home? I try

:16:15. > :16:19.and practice with them, yes. Tomorrow you are going to be

:16:19. > :16:31.waltzing. How are you adapting to this most graceful dance? You have

:16:31. > :16:38.to be a gentleman. Yes they are all dental men. I was daunted when I

:16:38. > :16:44.was out there because chat chat chat is about footwork. I enjoyed

:16:44. > :16:48.the waltz. I am going to get it right. I had been working on my

:16:49. > :16:56.frame and I have had ballet lessons this week. We are looking to get it

:16:56. > :17:02.right. We missed a few days of training and he did an amazing job

:17:02. > :17:07.to catch up. Ian was pointing out how good your frame is. Are you

:17:07. > :17:15.more comfortable in a dance that is less showy? This is all new to me.

:17:15. > :17:23.I don't even have a comparison. This is all a complete first

:17:23. > :17:31.experience. I am embracing it. Dressed up in sequins and like rat

:17:31. > :17:35.and a spray can. Do your rugby unsporting mates if you are a hard

:17:35. > :17:41.time about the spray tan and the sequins? Or are they enjoy it?

:17:41. > :17:46.Joking apart, a lot of them have sprayed cans and they take good

:17:47. > :17:54.care of themselves. They will all be down Saine, look at that outfit.

:17:54. > :17:57.We were all dressed in our sequins and our like rare and we were all

:17:57. > :18:04.saying to each other, you look really good. In it is totally

:18:04. > :18:11.infectious. How was your first sprayed tan? It was an experience.

:18:11. > :18:15.You did not double dip like Artem. He is one of the fittest

:18:15. > :18:22.celebrities. Is that working out for you? Are you pleased? Ben and I

:18:22. > :18:27.have a similar attitude towards work. We have the same birth sign

:18:27. > :18:32.and we are very good with rehearsals and we are very focused.

:18:32. > :18:37.At the same time when we have a cup of tea we have a good laugh. It

:18:37. > :18:47.definitely shows and good luck on Saturday. Ben and Kristina. Over

:18:47. > :18:53.here, as I live and breathe, it is Mark Benton and Iveta. And

:18:53. > :18:58.regulations on a tremendous tango last weekend. You are one of the

:18:58. > :19:03.big surprises. Did you surprise yourself? I did a bit because you

:19:03. > :19:08.are so nervous before and I was standing behind the screen like

:19:08. > :19:16.this. Then she said watch your left foot, but have fun. She is great.

:19:16. > :19:22.That is an incredible impression. The judges were so impressed. Even

:19:22. > :19:27.Craig said he got into it. Were you expecting those reactions? You are

:19:27. > :19:32.so relieved to have got through the dance. It was such a blur. I knew

:19:32. > :19:38.they would be nice, but when I listened back afterwards it was

:19:38. > :19:43.great. You work so hard and you get that. It is encouraging to take you

:19:43. > :19:49.on to the next week. Online you have created a stir. Mark was

:19:49. > :19:54.always going to be good because he is so funny says Michael. Katie

:19:54. > :19:59.says your performance is exactly what Strictly is all about. That is

:19:59. > :20:04.nice. Did you have faith that is the reaction he would get? From the

:20:04. > :20:11.first day I thought, he has the rhythm, so let's do the dancing.

:20:11. > :20:16.She said from the beginning that she wanted to show people I could

:20:16. > :20:22.dance as well as being funny. When you started the tango people

:20:22. > :20:27.thought, he is being funny. But people think he is funny and he can

:20:27. > :20:32.dance, a bonus. You have an interesting technique to get his

:20:32. > :20:39.head position. He would always look at me for security. I found our way

:20:39. > :20:46.to fix that. I got Craig's face and I put it on my face and it worked

:20:46. > :20:52.writer wakeful stock fantastic. This weekend is the salsa. We saw

:20:52. > :21:00.you in action last night. How is the body rippled going? It is going

:21:00. > :21:07.well. Mine is better than hers. She will be up to scratch tomorrow. Is

:21:07. > :21:13.Europe in a sex god emerging? He is there. I am already picking up the

:21:13. > :21:23.vibrations. Do you have characters bore this dance? Yes. I guess it is

:21:23. > :21:29.loosely based on Austin Powers, the 1960s fund. You have got great

:21:29. > :21:37.music. Let's hear it now. How do you feel when you hear this music?

:21:37. > :21:43.I have got shivers down my spine. Hopefully you will keep Craig

:21:43. > :21:48.onside this weekend. Mark and Iveta. This weekend somebody has to go

:21:48. > :21:58.home, but nobody wants to be the first. Being on Strictly has been

:21:58. > :22:03.an incredible adventure. Getting knocked out in the first week would

:22:03. > :22:07.be awful. It is pressurising enough having to dance in front of a live

:22:07. > :22:13.audience to the thought of having a dance off to compete for your place.

:22:13. > :22:17.You think you have done your dance to the best of your ability and or

:22:17. > :22:22.of a sudden you have to do it even better than that. This could be the

:22:22. > :22:30.last time I ever dance on television. All I can do is give

:22:30. > :22:35.100%. I do not want to be the first one to leave and I do not want

:22:35. > :22:39.anyone else to lead either. It is a bit like the tale of the unexpected,

:22:39. > :22:44.you can never predict what is going to happen on that night. I am

:22:44. > :22:49.trying not to think about the pressure and the possibility of

:22:49. > :22:54.leaving. I can only hope if I got in the bottom two they would see

:22:54. > :22:59.something in me and keep me in. I am having such a lovely time that

:22:59. > :23:07.somebody might say you have to leave. It is not pleasant. I really

:23:07. > :23:13.love the competition. I had been bitten by the bug. I love this

:23:13. > :23:18.experience. The ante has been upped and there is a great deal at stake

:23:18. > :23:21.and I do not want to go home. I would love to stay in the

:23:21. > :23:27.competition. It is great fun doing something you cannot do. If I was

:23:27. > :23:31.the first person to leave, I would be heartbroken. I am loving

:23:31. > :23:37.learning to dance. I do not know what I would do with myself if I

:23:37. > :23:44.was the first to go. We are back in the glitter Dome. My next guest has

:23:44. > :23:50.been buffed, waxed and covered in 25,000 crystals or in preparation

:23:50. > :23:55.for coming on the show. Before I reveal him, let's take a closer

:23:55. > :24:01.look at his dance partner Janette Manrara. I am Janette Manrara and I

:24:01. > :24:08.am from Miami, the Latin capital of the USA. Latin dancing is in my

:24:08. > :24:16.blood. I began my professional dance career went I was 24 and it

:24:17. > :24:23.has been amazing ever since. What I like most about dancing is you can

:24:23. > :24:28.let your body do all the talking. I am full of energy, so whatever you

:24:28. > :24:34.give me whether it is sexy or soft, I am going to give it to you.

:24:34. > :24:42.Strictly is their dream come true. This means everything to me. Please

:24:42. > :24:48.welcome the fabulous Julien Macdonald and his partner Janette.

:24:48. > :24:52.We saved the best answer last this week. Did you enjoy your

:24:52. > :25:01.performance last weekend as much as we did? No, I absolutely hated it.

:25:01. > :25:08.I had a fabulous time. He is excited again. Breathe in. How do

:25:08. > :25:13.you think he did first time out? It is nerve-racking to go out and

:25:13. > :25:17.dance in front of millions of people. He designs stresses for

:25:17. > :25:21.this gorgeous women and his job has never been to be on television

:25:21. > :25:27.doing something that is out of his comfort zone, so I think he did

:25:27. > :25:32.great. I wanted him to forget about everything and embrace the first

:25:32. > :25:35.night, which you did. Were you worried about what the judges were

:25:35. > :25:42.going to say before you went out there? We had spent such a long

:25:42. > :25:48.time learning the dance that when I came to do it I was so excited. It

:25:48. > :25:51.was as if somebody had blown up a big balloon and went bang. Then it

:25:51. > :25:55.was all over and then I have got big balloon and went bang. Then it

:25:55. > :26:01.the judges. I cannot remember, it was so quick. I thought I want to

:26:01. > :26:07.enjoy myself, I am trying to learn how to dance. I am not the best

:26:07. > :26:14.dancer, but I hope I will get better. I am having the time of my

:26:14. > :26:21.life. Janette, Craig was a little bit mean. He said he was very flat

:26:21. > :26:27.footed. Len said it was more a women's weekly than Vogue. Do you

:26:27. > :26:36.take that personally? Do you know, I do not, because I do not disagree.

:26:36. > :26:41.But it is ATV show and his job is to critique. He was harsh with

:26:41. > :26:47.everyone, but I like Craig and enjoy his company. I could not

:26:47. > :26:54.disagree with most of his opinions. Could he say it nicer? Maybe.

:26:54. > :26:58.Possibly. It is not just the judges who are scary on the show.

:26:58. > :27:05.Sometimes the dancing can be scary as well. This is the most

:27:06. > :27:13.terrifying thing ever. Touch my fingers. Ready? That is really hard,

:27:13. > :27:21.etc. This is quite scary it. I do not want to do that. You are so

:27:21. > :27:29.scared. I am not going to look at myself. Julien is scared. Stand

:27:29. > :27:38.where you cannot see yourself. Terrified! Why are you so scared?

:27:38. > :27:48.If you come closer to me, I am so afraid. No, no, Julien. You are
