:00:00. > :00:12.Welcome to It Takes Two. It is Thursday, which means we have all

:00:13. > :00:17.the latest from the trading rooms. Their Argentine tango left the

:00:18. > :00:20.judges wanting more. Welcome Susanna and Kevin.

:00:21. > :00:27.Lovely to see them, as always. It is the final of our 2013 Pro-Challenge.

:00:28. > :00:30.Tonight Kevin and Janette are here to discover which of our

:00:31. > :00:38.professional dancers will take the crown. Could it be one of them or

:00:39. > :00:39.will it be to du Beke? The gorgeous Vicky Gill is here.

:00:40. > :01:29.This is It Takes Two. Live, from London, this is Strictly

:01:30. > :01:38.- It Takes Two. Please welcome your host. Zoe Ball.

:01:39. > :01:43.Hello. Welcome to It Takes Two. I know, I am wearing a dress. The

:01:44. > :01:47.semi-final is fast approaching. So excited! Before we go on with the

:01:48. > :01:51.show, let's see how our couples are getting on in the training room for

:01:52. > :01:56.their first of their two dances. This is exciting! This week I have a

:01:57. > :02:04.samba, which I have been dreading the whole series. There are so many

:02:05. > :02:09.things to think about. You have to do the bounce, the straight legs and

:02:10. > :02:17.then the hips. I hate all this hip action. Samba doesn't look right...

:02:18. > :02:25.Two, three... I am struggling with the bouncy hip action. Aljaz has had

:02:26. > :02:30.me walking around the room, saying "Bounce, bounce." Bounce and bounce

:02:31. > :02:33.again. And bounce! I am feeling the pressure now. For me, it seems

:02:34. > :02:43.almost impossible. My first dance this week is the paso

:02:44. > :02:50.doble. No time for soft, delicate behaviour here! Come on, woman!

:02:51. > :02:57.It is a very extreme dance. Look at how extreme my position is. My face

:02:58. > :03:01.is going red. Put yourself in an extreme position. In order to have

:03:02. > :03:09.that drama it must have complete action and your mask does must not

:03:10. > :03:14.fall at any point! Hands, Sophie. It has to be sold

:03:15. > :03:21.with buckets-load of confidence. Which can be tricky. Nice, Sophie!

:03:22. > :03:26.The first dance this week is the waltz.

:03:27. > :03:30.A lot of rising and falling. And it needs to be very smooth and just

:03:31. > :03:35.hopefully cover the whole floor. Just like any other ballroom dance,

:03:36. > :03:40.Patrick has been struggling with keeping his frame.

:03:41. > :03:44.Keep your frame! Doing ballroom, for me is, it is holding the frame,

:03:45. > :03:49.getting the right steps. Not a heel lead when it is a toe lead. These

:03:50. > :03:55.are the elements that I try and conquer. Boom, boom. I don't know

:03:56. > :04:02.what happens after that! It is a special dance in the semi-final.

:04:03. > :04:11.First dance is a salsa. The shippies are in. It is a social dance. We can

:04:12. > :04:15.have lifts and the moves and all the spectacular steps.

:04:16. > :04:22.I think the judges are going to be really looking for a high-energy,

:04:23. > :04:29.lots of fun, but with a lot of technique in there as well.

:04:30. > :04:37.It is a lot of arms. A lot of turns and a lot of moves.

:04:38. > :04:43.If we can keep all the elements in it, then it will be great.

:04:44. > :04:49.Our first dance this week is the foxtrot. I think it will be a pure

:04:50. > :04:54.classic ballroom special. It is all about the timing and the smoothness

:04:55. > :05:01.of the timing. I kicked your knee! There are some pivots. Sometimes it

:05:02. > :05:04.goes really well and I think it is amazing. Other times it goes out and

:05:05. > :05:10.the whole thing goes downhill. I need to keep small and on the spot.

:05:11. > :05:15.It is Kevin who swings around me. I stop you and I need to encourage

:05:16. > :05:20.you. This foxtrot could be the difference between going to the

:05:21. > :05:26.final or going home, so I better get it right, hadn't I and do it

:05:27. > :05:29.beautifully! Looking good, ladies and Patrick. We will see how they

:05:30. > :05:34.are all getting on with their second dance later. Over the past week we

:05:35. > :05:37.have spoken a fair bit about the professional dancers' desire to win

:05:38. > :05:42.the title. They have spoken of the praise, the glory, the respect that

:05:43. > :05:48.it would bring them. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am talking about the It

:05:49. > :05:51.Takes Two Pro-Challenge. Who will be the winner? Please welcome Kevin

:05:52. > :06:08.from Grimsby and Janette Manrara. Hello, my lovlies! Take a seat. You

:06:09. > :06:14.and your clammy palms. We have been to see how many, we want the most

:06:15. > :06:18.Drunken Sailors. Kevin, you have never done this before. Does it make

:06:19. > :06:24.you more anxious or less? I am very eager to please. We are new. It was

:06:25. > :06:31.my first Pro-Challenge. I don't want to be rubbish. Janette, your Aljaz -

:06:32. > :06:35.how is he? He's ex-seated about the semi-final. -- excited about the

:06:36. > :06:40.semi-final. He's got 61 before. Do you want to beat him? Yes.

:06:41. > :06:51.Definitely! No question about it. Kevin, we will see how well you got

:06:52. > :06:58.on. Good luck, Marine! Here we go! I am feeling more nervous about this

:06:59. > :07:03.challenge than most Saturday nights. I am winning this. You are known as

:07:04. > :07:09.the jive king - do you feel it has put you unner di in pressure --

:07:10. > :07:14.under any pressure? The fact we have spoken about it has put me under

:07:15. > :07:22.pressure. Thanks for bringing it up! How much would it mean to you to get

:07:23. > :07:26.the world record? More than anything else in the world right now. Are you

:07:27. > :07:32.ready? Just about! For the record - three, two, one -

:07:33. > :08:10.go. Five, four, three, two, one... Stop!

:08:11. > :08:16.Did that feel longer than 30 seconds? A lot longer. It felt like

:08:17. > :08:21.30 minutes. It looked pretty good from where I was standing. You went

:08:22. > :08:25.really fast. Grit and determination. An amazing effort.

:08:26. > :08:32.Thank you. I am exhausted right now. I gave it everything I had. I will

:08:33. > :08:38.never life it down if Karen gets it. How fast! You were doing it so fast

:08:39. > :08:42.- your feet were a blur and in a Christmas jumper as well! How

:08:43. > :08:46.confident do you feel having seen that, Kevin? I would, but I am sat

:08:47. > :08:52.next to Janette and she's really fast. It is that Cuban fire!

:08:53. > :08:57.Janette, how do you feel right now, having seen Kevin's action now? I

:08:58. > :09:01.definitely didn't win! Shall we find out? Yes.

:09:02. > :09:09.Here's Janette! I think what will be tough is the

:09:10. > :09:14.stamina. 30 seconds of Drunken Sailor is a long time. I think I can

:09:15. > :09:19.do this for the girls. Come on, ladies!

:09:20. > :09:22.Hello. Hi! How are you feeling about this challenge today? Very nervous.

:09:23. > :09:29.Do you think you could be the fastest? I don't know, you know. I

:09:30. > :09:36.am more classically trained. I am a lot lighter on my feet, but not

:09:37. > :09:46.quick on my feet. We'll see. Good luck! Please step to your mark.

:09:47. > :10:18.Are you ready? For the record... Three, two, one, go...

:10:19. > :10:27.Five, four, three, two, one stop. Well done!

:10:28. > :10:33.Thank you! Looked pretty good to me. What did you think Looked good to me

:10:34. > :10:37.too. You looked down the whole time. You were focussing on your feet. It

:10:38. > :10:41.was a competition! You did really well. Well done. Thank you. I hope

:10:42. > :10:46.I've done enough to get the record. I don't think I could have done

:10:47. > :10:52.anything more. It would be quite the honour to be the Cuban American who

:10:53. > :10:55.has the title of the most Drunken Sailors in 30 seconds. Well done

:10:56. > :11:00.Janette. Well, looking at that there, do you think Janette that you

:11:01. > :11:06.have beaten Kevin? No. I still don't think I did. Let's remind ourselves

:11:07. > :11:12.ow how things stand -- ourselves how things stand at the moment. At the

:11:13. > :11:16.moment Anton du Beke with 72. I love how everyone is so surprised when

:11:17. > :11:21.they see it. That is how it stands. In order to win, you have to have

:11:22. > :11:24.scored 73 or above, OK? Good luck, guys. It is the moment of truth.

:11:25. > :11:30.This has been building up to this - the last 25 weeks!

:11:31. > :11:36.Time to find out who has won the Pro-Challenge 2013. I can tell you

:11:37. > :11:43.at this point, one of you did 79 Drunken Sailors. The other 77.

:11:44. > :11:48.Wow! However, there were some

:11:49. > :11:55.disqualifications. One of you had two disqualifications. The other had

:11:56. > :12:04.a huge 14 voided by our adjudicators. This is so tense.

:12:05. > :12:11.Please, may I have the gold envelope? Here we go - I can reveal

:12:12. > :12:33.this year's Pro-Challenge and new Guinness World Record holder is...

:12:34. > :12:44.It is Kevin! Well done, Kevin. Let's take a look

:12:45. > :12:49.at the leaderboard. There you are - up the top there. Du

:12:50. > :12:56.Beke will be devastated. You beat him by five. Congratulations. Here

:12:57. > :13:02.to present your certificate we have Liz, from Guinness World Records.

:13:03. > :13:07.Welcome, Liz. How impressed were you with our professional dancers? I was

:13:08. > :13:12.so impressed. Kevin gave it 110%. He was the most nervous out of

:13:13. > :13:20.everyone, bless him. You are so deserving of the title. Here is your

:13:21. > :13:25.certificate. Kevin, from Grimsby - a world record holder, ladies and

:13:26. > :13:30.gentlemen. Where will you keep your certificate? Right next to my bed.

:13:31. > :13:36.Congratulations. Congratulations Janette. Thank you to everyone who

:13:37. > :13:40.took place. Kevin is our Pro-Challenge winner!

:13:41. > :13:45.Who is looking like a winner the training room as well? Let's see how

:13:46. > :13:50.our couples are getting on with their second dance. My second dance

:13:51. > :13:55.this week is the American smooth. I have been dying to do this dance. It

:13:56. > :14:03.is so elegant and classy and it just looked beautiful. I feel safer and

:14:04. > :14:09.my smile is coming back. Wow! Dizzy Lizzie!

:14:10. > :14:15.We have to do lifts in American smooth. Every single time we do a

:14:16. > :14:20.lift, there is a noise coming out of her! It is hard to do a lift when

:14:21. > :14:25.you cannot see it. It is like kick your leg up there - do that. We

:14:26. > :14:31.don't have it right yet. By Saturday, hopefully we will.

:14:32. > :14:36.My second dance this week in the semi-final is the American smooth.

:14:37. > :14:41.We are doing a foxtrot-based American smooth. We need to dance

:14:42. > :14:45.like we're floating on air. I always like lifts because they

:14:46. > :14:51.feel quite exciting. They can also bring about a little

:14:52. > :14:55.bit of pain! Are you all right? They actually hurt quite a lot. The

:14:56. > :15:00.result is they are so beautiful. In order to get the look of it being

:15:01. > :15:04.effortless and create the beautiful lines, it has to be technically

:15:05. > :15:08.spot-on. The things which maybe I didn't get right in the past, that

:15:09. > :15:17.cannot be there any more. My second dance this week is the

:15:18. > :15:22.paso doble. The paso doble is a very controlled dance. It is like you

:15:23. > :15:28.gather all this energy and then you go - definitely intense with a lot

:15:29. > :15:33.of lines and control. It is a conscious act of being arrogant. A

:15:34. > :15:37.lot of holding the frame and trying to get that right attitude in the

:15:38. > :15:42.body. So, a lot of work. This week it will be tough. Every week is

:15:43. > :15:45.tough! For me, it is! I just have to push him and

:15:46. > :15:51.hopefully everything will come together on the Saturday night.

:15:52. > :15:56.My second dance is going to be Argentine tango. Three, four - don't

:15:57. > :15:59.turn out your hips. It is a very difficult dance. It whats a

:16:00. > :16:02.different technique to it. There doesn't seem to be anything

:16:03. > :16:07.that I can apply that I have learnt so far.

:16:08. > :16:11.Push down and relax. Oh I'll have trouble with that. It is like

:16:12. > :16:15.completely forgetting what you were doing for the past 11 weeks and

:16:16. > :16:20.starting from scratch. Relax your arms. There's a fine line between

:16:21. > :16:24.being in the way and getting it right.

:16:25. > :16:26.Sorry, sorry, sorry, I lost my balance!

:16:27. > :16:28.Sorry! But it will be all right on the

:16:29. > :16:36.night! Our second dance this week is the

:16:37. > :16:42.salsa. Obviously there's a lot of hip movement.

:16:43. > :16:47.You do the dance hips and I can't do them. It has to be a big party and

:16:48. > :16:53.go out there and blast it. Although it is fast and furious, it is up my

:16:54. > :16:59.street. It feels like a clubby dance. Your natural instinct goes

:17:00. > :17:04.bang - that is what' we'll do. I want her to -- that is what we'll

:17:05. > :17:08.do. I want her to shake her hair around like Beyonce. There's going

:17:09. > :17:13.to be no holding back in this salsa. We make sure this one really sizzles

:17:14. > :17:17.on the Strictly dance floor. That is how the dancers are looking.

:17:18. > :17:22.How will they look on Saturday night? Of please welcome costume

:17:23. > :17:27.designer and general genius, Vicky Gill. Hello. Can I just say -

:17:28. > :17:32.everywhere I go in the supermarket, people are me is Pasha single and

:17:33. > :17:37.how bril cant are the costumes and can they borrow them. -- brilliant

:17:38. > :17:43.are the costumes and can they borrow them? We make our way over to the

:17:44. > :17:49.first dress, which is Anya's waltz dress, dancing Patrick on Saturday

:17:50. > :17:54.night - to Unchained Melody. This is probably the only pass tell colour

:17:55. > :17:59.she's not had this season. She's gone through the mints and the

:18:00. > :18:09.yellows. It is a light dress. We only have one layer of stretch lace

:18:10. > :18:13.and one of this lace. Just for you. And many booingle beads in gold,

:18:14. > :18:17.silver and lilac. Lots running through. It will have lots more. A

:18:18. > :18:21.lot of the dresses are not finished this week. There are two. You cannot

:18:22. > :18:26.possibly know who will get this far... . So we run out of options.

:18:27. > :18:31.With veto do it week on. You will see more crystals by the time you

:18:32. > :18:37.get to Saturday. Shall we Drunken Sailor across to the other side... I

:18:38. > :18:44.think they look a bit like this! This is Abbey's samba dress. Is this

:18:45. > :18:52.for you? You can hold that. Here we go! You would have thought we had

:18:53. > :18:57.rehearsed this. . This silhouette we use for her titles and press shots

:18:58. > :19:02.early on. We have not seen her dance or perform in this shape. It is nice

:19:03. > :19:07.to make sure we bring it back for samba. We need feather and movement

:19:08. > :19:14.for her. The reason it is pale blue is we hoped to do a denim feel. They

:19:15. > :19:21.are dancing to George Michael, Fate. It is not really Strictly denim. I

:19:22. > :19:27.am sure one day you might make it happen. I did one in blue feathers -

:19:28. > :19:44.it brought me a lot of luck. Let's go to the ironing board. Susanna is

:19:45. > :19:57.doing a foxtrot to Frankie Vallie, Can't Take My sap Eyes Off -- Can't

:19:58. > :20:01.Take My Eyes Off Of You. I love that shoulder detail. It will be very

:20:02. > :20:06.delicate and light. There is a story by the sounds of it in the routine -

:20:07. > :20:12.hence the colours. Sophie is doing an American smooth and it is a real

:20:13. > :20:16.classic. Again, for her, a real classic dress, which she wears so

:20:17. > :20:22.well. It will not be on set. Again we have light grey crystals.

:20:23. > :20:27.It will be put on a nude base. Between all these layers of beading

:20:28. > :20:34.it will be picked up and be much lighter. Her skirt is light. Light

:20:35. > :20:40.grey. It is quite art deck co. Natalie doing an Argentine tango and

:20:41. > :20:44.you have gone for a classic style. In terms of the silhouette. The

:20:45. > :20:50.frill on the bottom would not necessarily be Argentine tango. I

:20:51. > :20:55.felt if we brought the hem line up for Natalie... She has great legs. I

:20:56. > :21:00.felt the sheer George get would work. What do you call that - it is

:21:01. > :21:10.an interesting line - that bust line. It is Vicky's take on it.

:21:11. > :21:16.We put it at the under bust point, because Natalie is small on her

:21:17. > :21:19.waist. We want to accentuate the beautiful body.

:21:20. > :21:24.We have lots of crystals and different sizes. You can see into

:21:25. > :21:28.the spine and up the shoulder. It will look stunning. Two dances this

:21:29. > :21:35.week. How many in the final? Three, I believe - she says! You will be

:21:36. > :21:41.one busy lady. Vicky - isn't she amazing! I liked our dancing, even

:21:42. > :21:46.if the critics didn't like it. Our professional dancers like to look

:21:47. > :21:52.their best. Who overdoes the fake tan and who has natural beauty? Fake

:21:53. > :22:02.tan - around here! The person who wears the most fake

:22:03. > :22:09.tan... . We all wear loads of fake tan. Like a series of taek side

:22:10. > :22:13.boards. They are all tan-tastic. That is easy - it would be Robin.

:22:14. > :22:19.Robin! Robin!

:22:20. > :22:24.Robin, definitely wears the most. We have to go for Kevin Clifton,

:22:25. > :22:28.because he is lily white and he wears a lot of fake tan. I am so

:22:29. > :22:34.pale that I have to wear so many more coats of tan than everyone else

:22:35. > :22:36.just to look normal. I wear the most. Me personally - I don't do

:22:37. > :22:47.any. All natural! Who is the best looking person on

:22:48. > :22:57.Strictly Come Dancing? Not for me to say, is it? Me... No, not me!

:22:58. > :23:04.Not me... Sorry! Of course it is Anton du Beke. Mirror, mirror, on

:23:05. > :23:09.the wall, who is the fairest of them all... No, no, I can't possibly say

:23:10. > :23:15.me! They are all gorgeous. I am putting

:23:16. > :23:17.him in a heart, Aljaz. Very hand some. It is Mr Aljaz.

:23:18. > :23:29.I think Aljaz is the best looking. Let's think about him for a bit...

:23:30. > :23:33.They took the rough with their smooth on Saturday night. They are

:23:34. > :23:39.here to tell us all about it - Susanna and Kevin. He's the

:23:40. > :23:42.best-looking dancer on Strictly and also now a Guinness World Record

:23:43. > :23:48.holder. He is a world record holder. Could

:23:49. > :23:54.he get any more perfect. I met two teenage girls, they are called

:23:55. > :23:59.Clifton - that is their surname. They are wearing glasses like him.

:24:00. > :24:03.Standing ovations for your Argentine tango on Saturday night. Brilliant!

:24:04. > :24:08.You go to the judges and they were pretty harsh. You did see upset when

:24:09. > :24:14.you went to speak to Tess about that. How did it feel? A standing

:24:15. > :24:18.ovation, which felt brilliant and four judges firmly stuck to their

:24:19. > :24:24.seats and saying it didn't have enough passion. I am sorry, I am a

:24:25. > :24:28.little bit crocky. It has been a really challenging week.

:24:29. > :24:33.I'm not still tearful about the fact they didn't like it, just in case

:24:34. > :24:39.anyone is confused. It was disappointing that they didn't love

:24:40. > :24:47.it as much as we loved it. We really loved to dance that dance, didn't

:24:48. > :24:54.we? Definitely. Have Have you watched and it back? The judges were

:24:55. > :24:57.saying about it lacking passion and stuff. We felt we spent most of the

:24:58. > :25:02.dance in each other's faces. I think Susanna is one of the most

:25:03. > :25:11.passionate dancersvy never done. I am -- dancers I have ever known.

:25:12. > :25:17.Your brilliant lean - talk us through it. I could not tell you how

:25:18. > :25:23.it is done. That is a big secret. Is it magic circle type stuff. You can

:25:24. > :25:27.see from me floundering about. In rehearsals I was twice that far. It

:25:28. > :25:35.was going to be a good moment and it would not work on the night. I was
