:00:10. > :00:13.before the main event! Unfortunately the last man standing

:00:14. > :00:18.was also the last one to fall before the final. Strictly's Mr Smooth,

:00:19. > :00:25.Patrick and his partner, Anya, are here to say farewell. Go on, boy!

:00:26. > :00:33.Amazing. Shut up, close the door and call me Mary! It's only head judge

:00:34. > :00:35.Len Goodman. I curtsy... This is Strictly, It Takes Two.

:00:36. > :01:26.Good evening! Live from London, this is Strictly

:01:27. > :01:35.It Takes Two. Please welcome your host, Zoe Ball.

:01:36. > :01:40.Welcome to It Takes Two five were whittled down to four. One will soon

:01:41. > :01:47.be crowned Strictly champion, 2013. I can barely contain my excitement.

:01:48. > :01:52.In case you missed any action, here are the headlines! Ve: Good evening.

:01:53. > :02:00.Here is the news. Thank you, arm of Jonathan! Here, I can reveal that

:02:01. > :02:03.the exclusive club gained two new members when Natalie and Artem were

:02:04. > :02:10.awarded top marks for their sal sasmt it was Artem's first -- salsa.

:02:11. > :02:24.It was Artem's first ever perfect score ever!

:02:25. > :02:33.You are actually shaking, palpitating.

:02:34. > :02:40.The first one in history. History. Thank you. Team Nartem seemed to

:02:41. > :02:42.have started something. After that the tens kept coming. And the very

:02:43. > :02:49.first one for Sophie and Brendan. For me, your best performance to

:02:50. > :03:07.date. An elegant American smooth, Peter

:03:08. > :03:13.Crouch had better watch out, there is a new man vying for Abbey's

:03:14. > :03:21.perfections. Sex on legs!

:03:22. > :03:26.Oh, my God! You can turn it on! I don't know... I am at boiling point!

:03:27. > :03:32.I can't say anything, I'll be in trouble! I think Bruno's on the

:03:33. > :03:37.turn, darling. While he may have been impressed with the standard at

:03:38. > :03:44.the weekend head coach Len had a bone to pick about something else.

:03:45. > :03:50.It Takes Two - you've annoyed me! The Drunken Sailor challenge - you

:03:51. > :03:56.never got Len on it! He won it! I don't like to brag.

:03:57. > :04:00.There we go! 57! 68!

:04:01. > :04:07.81! And we go into a frenzy!

:04:08. > :04:12.Like father and son, weren't they? Nice one, Len. He'll be here in a

:04:13. > :04:16.minute. Those were the headlines. I thank you! For more backstage

:04:17. > :04:19.gossip, for the last time this year, here is some exclusive footage from

:04:20. > :04:34.behind the scenes on Saturday. There are the four girls and Patrick

:04:35. > :04:39.and it is quite calm. It does feel a bit more empty here -

:04:40. > :04:44.that's for sure. I can't believe I'm in the semi-final. That is amazing!

:04:45. > :04:50.So, let's not waste it! Let's have fun.

:04:51. > :04:54.Five couples. I tell you what, # Tomorrow

:04:55. > :05:09.The sun will shine for four, but for one, the sun will set!

:05:10. > :05:15.We are like the Desperate Housewives of Strictly!

:05:16. > :05:21.That's good! Nervous! I was not nervous. That is

:05:22. > :05:25.just the way of curtailing the word - how good the dance is and how

:05:26. > :05:31.confident she is with the dance. It's just her.

:05:32. > :05:40.I'm full of energy. The more you dance, the more energy you get. I'll

:05:41. > :05:45.keep on dancing. The paso doblely. Anya had a skirt and there was a

:05:46. > :05:49.mishap, that I trod on it. Hopefully it will not go badly in the real

:05:50. > :05:56.thing! I have just sneaked in. I don't think I am allowed to do, but

:05:57. > :06:01.tell no-one! That is amazing! I don't think anybody should leave!

:06:02. > :06:05.Can you tell the bosses that? Soe can make that -- Zoe can make that

:06:06. > :06:14.happen! That is the female pros' dressing

:06:15. > :06:20.room. There's one - last woman standing!

:06:21. > :06:26.Final touchups for the semi-final. It -- touch-ups for the accept

:06:27. > :06:32.final. I'm not in the right outfit for the beginning of the show. The

:06:33. > :06:35.thing is everyone is in the same boat and it's a nice boat to be in -

:06:36. > :06:46.the Strictly boat! Five minutes until we're on air,

:06:47. > :06:52.guys. We'll start to make our way to the staircase. All the best!

:06:53. > :06:56.Semi-final time! Two dances per couple. Brilliant stuff! Make them

:06:57. > :07:01.earn their money, I say, darling! Good luck to them all.

:07:02. > :07:07.See that! Now I really need a wee!

:07:08. > :07:12.It is obviously the most nerve-racking weeks... The first one

:07:13. > :07:19.was bad. I think today will match that. All we can do is... Keep

:07:20. > :07:23.dancing! This has to be the tightest

:07:24. > :07:27.semi-final ever. Anything can happen. One thing is for sure -

:07:28. > :07:34.you're going to get a fantastic show!

:07:35. > :07:47.Their dreams of reaching the finals are maybe over, but they certainly

:07:48. > :07:53.put over one great fight. Will you please welcome the latest Strictly

:07:54. > :07:55.casualty, Patrick and his partner Anya.

:07:56. > :08:02.Well done, darlings in getting so far. Commiserations. Leaving the

:08:03. > :08:06.show is so hard. The week before the final - so frustrating. How

:08:07. > :08:12.devastated were you, Patrick? Well, you can't argue with Artem and

:08:13. > :08:20.Natalie in the dance-off. Really. I speak for everyone We know she's the

:08:21. > :08:24.most accomplished dancer among the celebrities. How come she was in the

:08:25. > :08:28.dance-off. This is what happens with the show. You never know how it

:08:29. > :08:34.turns out. Were you pleased with him? Two incredible dances on

:08:35. > :08:37.Saturday night. Absolutely. I couldn't have asked for more, to be

:08:38. > :08:45.honest with you! Not the final? ! I am trying to give

:08:46. > :08:50.a compliment! Let's talk about you - your great

:08:51. > :08:55.comments from the judges and they commented on the improvement in your

:08:56. > :09:02.posture. That must be wonderful to hear. You did improve on that. It

:09:03. > :09:08.was fantastic and to get those marks for the waltz - it was fantastic.

:09:09. > :09:13.The paso doble, you looked like you were having a good time. Your face

:09:14. > :09:19.was a picture. Craig said it exposed his weaknesses a bit. What did you

:09:20. > :09:25.make of it? Actually I normally always agree with him. I had to

:09:26. > :09:28.disagree on this one. I watched it back and you did everything that I

:09:29. > :09:36.asked you to do. For the short amount of time we had and with your

:09:37. > :09:42.succeedual, I think you did an a-- schedule, I think you did an amazing

:09:43. > :09:47.job. Thank you. A very intimate moment between

:09:48. > :09:52.teacher and pupil. Did you think when there were not any tens, did

:09:53. > :09:58.you think, hang on, we might be in trouble here? No. The first thing I

:09:59. > :10:03.have to say is thank you to the Casualty Team. Oliver Kent and the

:10:04. > :10:08.production team have been brilliant, allowing me to get there. In terms

:10:09. > :10:14.of doing the dance - the paso doble, it didn't really grab me and the

:10:15. > :10:19.music didn't either. It didn't give me anything. I am instinctive with

:10:20. > :10:25.dancing. If the music is good, I kind of go for it. I had to work

:10:26. > :10:33.harder doing the paso doble. So, I tried. I tried my utmost. Show me

:10:34. > :10:40.your face! The arrogant thing... I can't do it!

:10:41. > :10:45.You had an in ced incredible Journey - I have said the J word! You really

:10:46. > :10:51.have - let's look at your Strictly story. It's awesome!

:10:52. > :11:03.Helping you to scrub up - it's Anya. Patrick is a really great person to

:11:04. > :11:06.work with. He can't wait to dance and learning.

:11:07. > :11:16.That's good! You don't get this chance every day. I'm going to go

:11:17. > :11:20.for it! That jive was alive! The rhythm and energy was absolutely

:11:21. > :11:29.fantastic! I am chuffed! Yes! Quick, slow...

:11:30. > :11:34.She is a hard task master. Cross in front and slow. You have to have

:11:35. > :11:38.discipline but you must have fun as well.

:11:39. > :11:46.I can't get up! I thought it had fantastic attack. Your timing is

:11:47. > :11:52.impeccable. You are one to watch! I love dancing with Anya.

:11:53. > :12:03.You brought class to this. Very nice. Dial with a smile. It went

:12:04. > :12:08.well. I think so too! You You were smiling, I was beaming. That is your

:12:09. > :12:13.best dance! I just heard from Patrick. That he

:12:14. > :12:17.hurt his wrist last night. The injury to my hand has had a big

:12:18. > :12:21.impact on the dance. Anya's had to change the routine drastically. I'll

:12:22. > :12:28.be out there, Saturday night, trying to do it! You did a really good job

:12:29. > :12:37.under terrible circumstances. Well done! I thought, I'm going to be

:12:38. > :12:42.dancing again. I would like to save Patrick and Anya. I need to enjoy

:12:43. > :12:46.every moment. It could have gone and it's still here. I am so excited to

:12:47. > :12:56.be back in the training room with Patrick. He's lovely to work with.

:12:57. > :13:02.Strictly's given me more appreciation of dancing. You get out

:13:03. > :13:06.what you put in. Great work! Well done! Getting two nines is

:13:07. > :13:14.fantastic. Hopefully it will go up and up and up. My goal is to still

:13:15. > :13:20.be in Strictly on my 50th and I'm still here!

:13:21. > :13:27.You are the best male celebrity in this competition.

:13:28. > :13:33.It was incredible getting a ten. The samba is a party dance. Rhythm,

:13:34. > :13:38.rhythm. I cannot wait to bring the carnival to the Blackpool Tower

:13:39. > :13:45.ballroom. That is not a samba, that is a whamba! It was fantastic!

:13:46. > :13:52.The next one will be better! I hope so! Patrick is a serious,

:13:53. > :13:59.dramatic actor. Soft - what light through the window breaks? I crush

:14:00. > :14:03.you! Pay attention 007! You were riding very well for a

:14:04. > :14:08.while, then at the end you crash-landed! Being an actor, I am

:14:09. > :14:11.used to playing a character. The charleston is a very Seiny

:14:12. > :14:26.characterful dance. It was fantastic. Three tens! Whoa!

:14:27. > :14:31.Strictly has almost taken over my whole world. You get it going down

:14:32. > :14:36.the street - how is the training going? Good luck for next week! This

:14:37. > :14:41.week will be tough. Every week is tough! For me... It is!

:14:42. > :14:46.I'm chuffed to bits to have got more than three, four, five dances under

:14:47. > :14:50.my belt and people have enjoyed it. I have loved it - every minute of

:14:51. > :14:56.it. Patrick, look at you - the poise, the sense of distinction. You

:14:57. > :15:01.really placed it so well. Judges, it is time to decide. I am going for

:15:02. > :15:06.Natalie and Artem. Natalie and Artem.

:15:07. > :15:11.Patrick, thank you so much for being you. You've been incredible. You are

:15:12. > :15:15.a true artist. You inspired me. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank

:15:16. > :15:24.you. I think you are incredible. I wish you the best of luck.

:15:25. > :15:32.13 dances - incredible. Do you have a favourite. Anya has gone - the

:15:33. > :15:39.glitter tissues you are out! Did you have a favourite moment? I loved

:15:40. > :15:45.doing the American smooth. Foxtrot. It was proper Vegas - those lifts!

:15:46. > :15:49.That and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Who would you like to see of your

:15:50. > :15:57.friends - of the girls now - to go on and lift the glitterball trophy,

:15:58. > :16:01.Patrick? Maybe Sophie. I enjoyed her charleston that she did with

:16:02. > :16:06.Brendan. I think they've been doing very smooth stuff. Yeah, I mean...

:16:07. > :16:12.Anybody deserves to win. You have been awesome, the two of you, and on

:16:13. > :16:16.a crazy schedule. Thank you so much. Thank you.

:16:17. > :16:19.Patrick and Anya! Thank you.

:16:20. > :16:27.It's been a great series, full of outstanding performances. I think we

:16:28. > :16:38.all agree. It is time to see Iveta in professional's choice.

:16:39. > :16:45.My professional of choice is Natalie and Artem - it was one of the most

:16:46. > :16:50.magical numbers I have ever seen. What I liked was the beginning. You

:16:51. > :16:55.couldn't see Natalie and when she appeared out of smoke - the

:16:56. > :17:00.connection they had from the very beginning of the dance is as soon as

:17:01. > :17:04.they touch they start dancing. The extensions they had were so

:17:05. > :17:09.beautiful. Every line was extended to its maximum. How they were using

:17:10. > :17:16.each other's body weights - it was so balanced.

:17:17. > :17:22.They go side by side. The section where they both spin. They were so

:17:23. > :17:26.synchronised. One of the other favourite moments was the Natalie -

:17:27. > :17:31.when she went down on the floor, which was very graceful, and fluid.

:17:32. > :17:35.She did a little roll and they finished together, head to head,

:17:36. > :17:39.back to back. It was beautiful and emotional. I think Artem took a big

:17:40. > :17:46.chance on doing such a difficult and such ex express sieve one. The

:17:47. > :17:51.challenge in the Viennese waltz is so stay in that hold. It is supposed

:17:52. > :17:56.to have more in the hold in dancing, but in order to tell a better story,

:17:57. > :18:01.you had to have a little bit more performance to tick over. I

:18:02. > :18:05.understand both sides. I don't think there's a person in the country

:18:06. > :18:12.who's not screaming now - this is magic! Magic!

:18:13. > :18:20.The reason I really liked the dance is because it had a big story. It

:18:21. > :18:24.had a great entrance. Showed a great technique and it touched everyone by

:18:25. > :18:32.the end of the dance. That is why I loved it.

:18:33. > :18:38.Thank you Iveta. Soon Len Goodman will join us to about the weekend.

:18:39. > :18:47.It is very exciting! With the final imminent who better to give our

:18:48. > :18:53.celebs top tips than last year's champion!

:18:54. > :19:00.Hello. You seem to have caught me getting all Christmassy. Now I am

:19:01. > :19:04.feeling festive, I might give you my top tips on how to become the

:19:05. > :19:11.champion. Tip number one - in order to gain maximum attention during

:19:12. > :19:24.training be sure to perform a few diva chops. Leave me alone, flavia!

:19:25. > :19:30.I can't do that! It's horrific. So's that top. Tell me when you are

:19:31. > :19:36.ready? Thursday. I don't care. I'll dance with Danni - she's better than

:19:37. > :19:41.you any way! The professionals go on about this all the time - footwork,

:19:42. > :19:45.posture, face expressions. For me, there's only one thing that needs to

:19:46. > :19:51.be right if you are going to win Strictly and that's the hairdo!

:19:52. > :19:59.I've got to make sure my hair is up to scratch.

:20:00. > :20:12.How does my hair look? Looking good! Any gymnast, any sportsman or dancer

:20:13. > :20:17.will know, a good meal is vital to success. There's no better diet than

:20:18. > :20:21.baked beans on toast. More importantly it has to be delivered

:20:22. > :20:28.by your mum. I can't stop thinking about beans on toast. My mum's got

:20:29. > :20:36.me beans on toast! Thanks, mum! I just needed to have it! Look at

:20:37. > :20:40.what mums do! Honestly! So my next tip - not everything on Strictly is

:20:41. > :20:47.handed to you on a plate. You have to be creative, use your imagination

:20:48. > :20:54.and oh, a bit of sticky-backed plastic helps too! Place the socks

:20:55. > :21:00.on three bits of tape. Press down firmly. Place the contraption on the

:21:01. > :21:07.knee and wrap around. Here's one we made earlier. Here's one we prepared

:21:08. > :21:12.earlier. Made... You don't know nothing! I know some things!

:21:13. > :21:16.Tell you what, to win Strictly you need to impress the ladies.

:21:17. > :21:19.Obviously dancing with your top off isn't a bad place to start. It helps

:21:20. > :21:47.to flash a bit of flesh. Finally to become the Strictly

:21:48. > :21:51.champion, you need to have great natural rhythm. You need to be

:21:52. > :22:03.extremely good looking and you node to be a marvellous dancer. In fact,

:22:04. > :22:06.a marvellous dancer! Now, this year, there's been one

:22:07. > :22:11.judge who has been putting the strict into Strictly, with his

:22:12. > :22:16.no-nonsense attitude. We are so excited to have him here - please go

:22:17. > :22:22.full on and flat out for top cat, Len Goodman!

:22:23. > :22:32.Wiggle and a wiggle! Hello, my darling. Was that a Drunken Sailor?

:22:33. > :22:40.What I wanted to do, but they... I wanted to start at the top of the

:22:41. > :22:44.stairs and do a Brendan down the banister! How much have you been

:22:45. > :22:49.enjoying this series, Len? It's been fabulous. You have the full mix.

:22:50. > :22:56.We've had Dave in there. You know, we've had some comedy couples. We've

:22:57. > :23:02.had wonderful dancing. It's been terrific. Here we are! One to go.

:23:03. > :23:07.Are you happy - are the right four in the final? It is always the right

:23:08. > :23:12.four in the final. OK, maybe not always what the judges would have

:23:13. > :23:16.picked. It's a combination we say our bit and the viewers have theirs.

:23:17. > :23:22.What we get is what we get and that is how it should be. Two dances to

:23:23. > :23:32.discuss. I start with Abbey and Aljaz and their samba. You loved her

:23:33. > :23:40.cortejaca. And then some quick flare and here we go! I'm a cup of tea and

:23:41. > :23:47.a world of lattes. I like to see the traditional moves coming in. I used

:23:48. > :23:55.to dance cortejaca when I was in my 20s. I like to see that basic stuff

:23:56. > :23:59.as well as all the razzmatazz. Sophie and Brendan and their

:24:00. > :24:04.American smooth - breathtaking. She was well within her comfort zone

:24:05. > :24:09.here - that lovely start coming down the banister... Three beautiful

:24:10. > :24:12.lifts. The secret to lifts is not just the lift - it is how you get

:24:13. > :24:19.into it, how you get out to it. She did that beautifully. She's such an

:24:20. > :24:24.elegant girl. The foxtrot is an elegant dance. It suited her so much

:24:25. > :24:29.I was lovely! Stunning. Susanna and Kevin and their foxtrot - you simply

:24:30. > :24:34.said terrific. Why was it a ten for this one? Let me say, sometimes on

:24:35. > :24:37.the show, you know, they are running a little bit over and it is live.

:24:38. > :24:42.One of the ways they get the time back is to say to the judges, we've

:24:43. > :24:46.got to be really brief. Sometimes you have to say one word or just

:24:47. > :24:52.very quickly. So, I didn't get really a chance to fully critique

:24:53. > :24:55.it. It was lovely. It was not the American smooth version where you

:24:56. > :25:00.can do lifts, you can come out of hold. Basically once you get into

:25:01. > :25:06.hold - it is a proper dance. To do it to that standard I thought was

:25:07. > :25:13.wonderful. Well done. Natalie and Artem and their salsa - top marks.

:25:14. > :25:17.What made it the perfect salsa? Look at her going there! The thing is

:25:18. > :25:22.sometimes everything comes together. The music, the technique, the

:25:23. > :25:28.rhythm, the performance and it all comes together! That was one of

:25:29. > :25:34.those moments. It was just smooshing. We have other dances as

:25:35. > :25:37.well. Abbey and Aljaz and their American smooth. After this, you

:25:38. > :25:42.said you were convinced she would be in the final. Why... Why does she do

:25:43. > :25:46.this so well? This girl's ballroom. Look at the distance between her

:25:47. > :25:51.head and Aljaz's head. That is one of the secrets, to get that distance

:25:52. > :25:56.- the girl has to shape off to the left. She maintains that posture and

:25:57. > :26:05.hold throughout the dance. I tell you what, she's, she really is a

:26:06. > :26:10.revelation. Norm Normally tall... Tall girls usually have trouble

:26:11. > :26:17.co-ordinating. You know, she's come out from... No, you were in that
