:00:07. > :00:13.Hello, welcome to It Takes Two. For your entertainment tonight, we have

:00:14. > :00:17.the very latest training updates, plus they gave us 1 million

:00:18. > :00:25.different faces now -- this weekend. Suzanne and Kevin are here. Yippee!

:00:26. > :00:30.If you have decided you can decide on your winner, let my extra special

:00:31. > :00:35.Thursday panellists give you a hand. We have Natalie's friend and Corrie

:00:36. > :00:38.star Alan Halsall. Susanna it is near Riise -- newsreader Sophie

:00:39. > :00:47.Raworth. Back in the glitter done again for Sophie. It is Kimberley

:00:48. > :00:52.Walsh. It is only Mr Abbey Clancy himself, Peter Crouch is here! And

:00:53. > :01:37.the crowd goes wild. This is Strictly It Takes Two.

:01:38. > :01:43.Live from London, this is Strictly It Takes Two. Please welcome your

:01:44. > :01:51.host, Zoe Ball. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:01:52. > :01:55.Hello and welcome to the penultimate It Takes Two of the series. I know,

:01:56. > :02:00.what am I going to do with my time pressure drive my husband mantle. In

:02:01. > :02:04.the next 47 hours and 58 minutes and 35 seconds we will be one step

:02:05. > :02:09.closer to finding out who will lift that coveted Glitterball Trophy. Who

:02:10. > :02:13.is it going to be? It could be anyone. In a moment I will be joined

:02:14. > :02:17.by the costume designer Vicky Gill, but first, let's look at how that --

:02:18. > :02:23.how Abbey and Natalie are getting on in there last week of training. The

:02:24. > :02:29.first dance has been picked by the judges and it is the waltz. It is

:02:30. > :02:32.such a slow dance. It is so exposed. Anything can go wrong. There were

:02:33. > :02:38.loads of mistakes throughout the dance but the one that sticks out

:02:39. > :02:41.the most is when I had to do a kick. Abbey has improved so much. She has

:02:42. > :02:48.better posture and a better frame, her footwork is better. She is --

:02:49. > :02:53.she understands the ballroom dancing way better than she did in the first

:02:54. > :02:56.week. The judges will be harsher. They will pick up on every single

:02:57. > :03:01.detail. I don't think anything will go wrong but we can only hope and

:03:02. > :03:05.rehearse for the best. Do I feel like I am better at it now? There is

:03:06. > :03:09.dad definitely added pressure because there are three dances and

:03:10. > :03:17.the showdowns has to be a show stopper. The showdowns is definitely

:03:18. > :03:23.going to be the most difficult and challenging dance for Abbey so far.

:03:24. > :03:28.-- show dance. Handbag, handbag. It is going to be a mixture of paso

:03:29. > :03:34.doble and tango. We are definitely feeling the pressure to make ours as

:03:35. > :03:39.good as we can. Hopefully we will have a cry. There is loads of lifts

:03:40. > :03:47.and hard steps. I hope I didn't push her to far in terms of choreography.

:03:48. > :03:52.We will see. I am broken! My favourite dance of the series would

:03:53. > :03:57.have to be our quickstep. It was definitely the hardest routine she

:03:58. > :04:04.has done. Step hop on a posture. I forgot how hard this dance was. We

:04:05. > :04:08.were dancing Blackpool, which was an incredible experience. It needs to

:04:09. > :04:14.be even sharper, more defined and even stronger. It needs to be so

:04:15. > :04:20.concise and extended. Keep your posture up, smile all the way

:04:21. > :04:28.through. We need to just get it more precise, the hold and the posture

:04:29. > :04:34.better. We should be fine. Our first dance has been chosen by the judges

:04:35. > :04:39.and is the cha-cha-cha. The last time we did this dance we got a

:04:40. > :04:42.score of 31. A great first week score but obviously that allows for

:04:43. > :04:47.the potential 9-point improvement. My hip action, my footwork was

:04:48. > :04:55.picked up on last time. This time she needs to go out there and just

:04:56. > :05:03.smash it, really. Beyond that leg. With this cha-cha-cha it needs to be

:05:04. > :05:08.epic. Our show dance, there will be thrills and hopefully not too many

:05:09. > :05:14.spills. We are chucking everything in there. There is going to be a

:05:15. > :05:22.quickstep, a bit of tap and a bit of jive to finish it off. The show

:05:23. > :05:27.dance has a real high expectation to it. There will be a few props, a lot

:05:28. > :05:31.of things can go wrong. You have to attack it with gusto or it can look

:05:32. > :05:36.really weak. It is the climax of the series. The American smooth for my

:05:37. > :05:42.favourite dances somewhat of a controversial choice because Len was

:05:43. > :05:47.not a massive fan. It didn't feel like American smooth to me. It

:05:48. > :05:52.wasn't so much about how Natalie danced the dance, it was more about

:05:53. > :05:57.Len did not like my routine. I loved the swirling. When we did it last

:05:58. > :06:03.time it felt like I was doing a scene in the film. The way it moved,

:06:04. > :06:07.the way it made me feel. It was very emotional the first time so doing

:06:08. > :06:13.that last dance in the series it will be probably more emotional than

:06:14. > :06:18.the first time. It is the final week, so my next guest is throwing

:06:19. > :06:23.in as many ruffles, crystals and godets on the costumes while she

:06:24. > :06:24.still can. Please welcome the costume designer extraordinaire,

:06:25. > :06:30.Vicky Gill. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:06:31. > :06:37.You are one popular lady. So many people write letters and send you

:06:38. > :06:41.designs, quite a few. It has been quite sweet really. A popular lady.

:06:42. > :06:45.It is nearly the final. Have you booked your cruise? I would like to

:06:46. > :06:51.go on a cruise but I am not. The sofa is good enough. How has this

:06:52. > :06:54.series compared to previous years? We have had more group dances and

:06:55. > :06:58.extra numbers so it has been more work. It has been really enjoyable

:06:59. > :07:03.so it is not a problem with more work. Everyone on the team is

:07:04. > :07:08.exhausted. We have had loads of fun but we are looking forward to the

:07:09. > :07:11.weekend and Santa. Everybody gets to do their showdowns which we are so

:07:12. > :07:15.excited about and they get to wear a costume which they have never won

:07:16. > :07:20.before -- show dance. Are there any rules with costumes? It is quite

:07:21. > :07:26.hard, we have a short space of time to do it and they are all nervous.

:07:27. > :07:29.Often they don't want to give me an inkling about what they are going to

:07:30. > :07:33.do in case it jinxes their progress into the final. It all happened on

:07:34. > :07:36.Monday morning, had texts and e-mails and phone calls about what

:07:37. > :07:41.they are doing. We are trying to make their wishes come true in terms

:07:42. > :07:44.of the performance in how they work it and hopefully we are putting a

:07:45. > :07:49.stamp on something we have not yet seen before on Strictly. Otherwise

:07:50. > :07:54.we would be looking at the same. It is top secret, you are not allowed

:07:55. > :07:59.to tell me. We are going to go to the dresses. It is like Swan Lake.

:08:00. > :08:04.There have been some incredible outfits. We will look at some of

:08:05. > :08:08.your favourites. Abbey first of all, this was her tango dress in

:08:09. > :08:14.weak four. Why did you love this so much? She looks glorious --

:08:15. > :08:19.glorious. She is a beautiful girl and looks great in the frocks and I

:08:20. > :08:22.was watching at home. From lighting to the performance she was really

:08:23. > :08:27.strong, the colour looked strong and I enjoyed the simple lines. The

:08:28. > :08:32.colour was doing the work but her performance drove it forward and it

:08:33. > :08:38.was successful all round. Her legs came through, the splits. It is a

:08:39. > :08:43.bit torn because it has lived another life already. Did she go out

:08:44. > :08:47.on the town after the show? Lots of people ask me what happens to the

:08:48. > :08:52.dresses afterwards. Do they get to keep them, do they get sold? They

:08:53. > :08:55.don't get to keep them. Once they have done it they think, that is

:08:56. > :09:01.enough. They go on to live another life. At the moment UK Strictly as

:09:02. > :09:06.the first place you see the frocks but they will go to France and the

:09:07. > :09:10.Lebanon. Into the New Year. They get used again. They cost quite a lot to

:09:11. > :09:15.buy. Susanna has never won the stress on the show. Talk me through.

:09:16. > :09:20.The reason I brought this along, we made early in the run and it is a

:09:21. > :09:24.copy of her silver which you see in the titles every week and this set

:09:25. > :09:29.the mood for Susanna's look throughout the show. I enjoyed

:09:30. > :09:35.making dresses for her. She is often not sure but 20 minutes into the

:09:36. > :09:39.fitting, she is with me. Her signature design... The one

:09:40. > :09:50.shouldered net flying, singed in waste of, -- the nipped in waste.

:09:51. > :09:56.The colours are vibrant. We opted for the silver. Let's look at

:09:57. > :10:01.Natalie's waltz dress from week two. Again, they are so individual, the

:10:02. > :10:06.ladies, such different styles. The reason I chose this dresses because

:10:07. > :10:09.people think, why that one? All the dresses have been more elaborate,

:10:10. > :10:16.but this line and Silhouette worked really well for Natalie. Really

:10:17. > :10:20.simple shape, simple neckline, halter straps. It worked

:10:21. > :10:24.beautifully. That is where it comes into play, when we watch it live,

:10:25. > :10:31.and you see the whole performance. Does it work for the performance?

:10:32. > :10:36.Finally, Sophie's dress. This is the epitome of Strictly Come Dancing.

:10:37. > :10:40.This was from her foxtrot in week four. What can you tell us about the

:10:41. > :10:48.stress? There are lots of crystals on it and from Sophie's perspective

:10:49. > :10:53.had skin tone, her body shape, she is so delicate and beautiful, long

:10:54. > :10:57.lines over the hip. I thought it was really pleasant to watch. Elegant.

:10:58. > :11:02.Pleasant, the understatement of the year. The feathers at the bottom,

:11:03. > :11:08.she pivoted around. The kick at the bottom is quite low for a ballroom

:11:09. > :11:14.dress but it works really well. It was a little surprised, a little

:11:15. > :11:18.flash of pink. If anyone wanted to buy this dress, how much would it

:11:19. > :11:24.cost? Really expensive, around ?3000. A nice little stocking

:11:25. > :11:27.filler! Can I just say on behalf of everyone watching and the crew on

:11:28. > :11:34.the show, you have done sterling work. I know there are millions of

:11:35. > :11:38.you, well done and Merry Christmas. Thank you.

:11:39. > :11:42.APPLAUSE So excited to see what they are

:11:43. > :11:50.wearing at the weekend. Let's find out how Sophie is getting on. My

:11:51. > :11:55.first dance in the final as the judges' choice, the Viennese waltz.

:11:56. > :11:59.It has got to look effortless and beautiful. Lovely. I am pretty

:12:00. > :12:02.excited about the judges' choice. It is a real chance to step up and

:12:03. > :12:08.bring those tiny little finishing touches. Chinn, where is it? One

:12:09. > :12:13.clear message from the judges, I needed to sort out my neck

:12:14. > :12:19.particularly in the pivots. That is what I am going to sort out. That

:12:20. > :12:23.way. There are not many options with the footwork, so there is quite a

:12:24. > :12:26.lot of repetition. It is hard to always remember exactly where you

:12:27. > :12:30.are. Hopefully at this point I am so at ballroom, I can just follow

:12:31. > :12:35.Brendan. That is what I should be able to do by now. The show dance, I

:12:36. > :12:40.made it to the final and now, look at me dance. You are allowed to do

:12:41. > :12:45.whatever you like. There are no rules. You can do as many lifts and

:12:46. > :12:48.twirls and whatever you feel like. I want it to be a celebration, a

:12:49. > :12:54.culmination of things that Sophie and I have done together. Brendan

:12:55. > :13:00.has invited me to bring ideas to the table in the choreography. Like

:13:01. > :13:08.stops, he put one of those in, so very kind but possibly risky. Our!

:13:09. > :13:12.What happened? When you dance the show dance, it might be your last

:13:13. > :13:18.dance so you have to go for it, really. Our favourite dance, a

:13:19. > :13:22.fantastic Charleston. I loved it. Are we took risks with the dancing

:13:23. > :13:26.and it paid off and felt really good. Sophie came alive, she

:13:27. > :13:31.outperformed me. I would love to see her do it again. There are elements

:13:32. > :13:36.of precision that I could improve on. I made a mistake in its early

:13:37. > :13:41.on. I think it is just bringing that same attitude really, maybe a little

:13:42. > :13:50.bit more confidence. The Charleston got four nine!. It would be cool to

:13:51. > :13:55.see some ten! In there. It will be so good. The last 12 weeks have been

:13:56. > :13:59.mainly about impressing the judges but on Saturday night it is you guys

:14:00. > :14:03.at home who have the ultimate say. Here to help you make the important

:14:04. > :14:08.decision of who deserves the Strictly title are some people who

:14:09. > :14:10.know our finalists very well indeed. Campaigning for Natalie, it is

:14:11. > :14:15.Corrie's and up. APPLAUSE

:14:16. > :14:21.Welcome. -- Alan Halsall. For Sophie, Kimberley Walsh.

:14:22. > :14:22.APPLAUSE For Susanna, newsreader Sophie

:14:23. > :14:28.Raworth. APPLAUSE

:14:29. > :14:38.And Abbey was my corner, her husband, Peter Crouch. Let's talk

:14:39. > :14:43.about Natalie. She has done brilliantly. Last week, she was in

:14:44. > :14:49.the bottom two, did it not occur confidence? I am sure it has. She

:14:50. > :14:54.loves the show, she is loving being part of the show and to be in the

:14:55. > :14:57.bottom two after getting 40 points on the first arms has not her

:14:58. > :15:05.confidence, but she will come back fighting. How much joy has Strictly

:15:06. > :15:09.brought into Sophie's live? I cannot believe how much she is loving

:15:10. > :15:14.this. She has taken to it like a duck to water and I have loved

:15:15. > :15:22.watching her grave. I can relate to her, where she is coming from. --

:15:23. > :15:31.watching her grow. Sophie, you did a Christmas special? It was children

:15:32. > :15:38.indeed. What has the secret beam to Susanna's success? -- Children In

:15:39. > :15:43.Need Appeal. People have really taken to that, how much she has

:15:44. > :15:47.loved it. I trained for the marathon with Susanna and she works hard. If

:15:48. > :15:55.she sets her sights on something, she will do it. She is a woman of

:15:56. > :16:05.steel. How far has Abbey come? Have you seen much of her these last few

:16:06. > :16:10.weeks? I saw her once two weeks ago! She has been tremendous. I did not

:16:11. > :16:15.realise how good she was. I have seen her throw some shapes, but

:16:16. > :16:20.never as accomplished as this. We can have a look at some of the

:16:21. > :16:30.dances. One they chose to perform again. Natalie and Artem have chosen

:16:31. > :16:37.the American smooth. Did this bring a tear to your eye? It did. It is an

:16:38. > :16:42.emotional dance. She is an amazing actress and it comes across in this

:16:43. > :16:49.dance. Although they did not get top marks, hopefully, this time they

:16:50. > :16:54.well. It is beautiful. Natalie is brilliant. The judges say sometimes

:16:55. > :17:02.she uses personality. Have we seen the real Natalie? It is funny for me

:17:03. > :17:07.to watch as a viewer, I know the real Natalie, and she is so much

:17:08. > :17:16.fun. Her personality is like her hair, big and bubbly. I do not think

:17:17. > :17:22.that has been shown. I hope people can vote for her. I sometimes

:17:23. > :17:32.think, do people distinguish her from Kirsty? Sophie and Brendan

:17:33. > :17:39.chose the Charleston. Did it make the judges' expectations too high?

:17:40. > :17:43.It is tough if you get a high score early on because the pressure is

:17:44. > :17:49.on. You feel if you do not get that score, you have failed. I thought

:17:50. > :17:56.this dance was incredible. She suited it so well. Lovely to watch.

:17:57. > :18:04.Susanna and Kevin have chosen the paso doble. They got 39 out of 40.

:18:05. > :18:11.The highest score to date at that point. How much confidence do you

:18:12. > :18:18.think this gave Susanna? It was the loudest cheer we have heard. The

:18:19. > :18:22.audience loved it. I think it was a massive turning point. It gives you

:18:23. > :18:28.confidence to do that well. Craig said she would never get a ten. Will

:18:29. > :18:37.he change his mind? I think she will do it. Abbey. Doing the quickstep

:18:38. > :18:43.with Aljaz. What did you love about watching her do this dance? I am

:18:44. > :18:49.proud every week, but Blackpool, it is a special place to go and watch.

:18:50. > :18:57.I thought she nailed it. It was perfect. The first 40 of the

:18:58. > :19:05.series. It was a special night. Has it made you emotional? Did you cry?

:19:06. > :19:13.The first was probably the most emotional. I did not see that

:19:14. > :19:17.coming. Before we go, we will give you ten seconds to tell people why

:19:18. > :19:25.they should vote for your friends, Y. For Natalie. Ten seconds. Please

:19:26. > :19:30.vote for Natalie, she is an amazing dancer, the judges have said it, she

:19:31. > :19:37.is gifted, her personality is amazing and she is a beautiful

:19:38. > :19:45.woman. I love her loads. Kimberley. Ten seconds. I think you should vote

:19:46. > :19:49.for Sophie because she has been on the biggest journey, she is not a

:19:50. > :19:59.natural dancer but she has improved the most. She is a beautiful person.

:20:00. > :20:04.Sophie, Susanna. Vote for Susanna because she has worked so hard. She

:20:05. > :20:08.has had so much public support and she wants to show the public it was

:20:09. > :20:15.worth backing her and she wants to do it for Kevin from Grimsby.

:20:16. > :20:21.Finally, Peter. Your Christmas depends on how well you do this. I

:20:22. > :20:26.am nervous excavation mark boat for Abbey because she has done so well

:20:27. > :20:34.will stop right from the start, she has improved. Please, time go

:20:35. > :20:41.faster! Can I ask you, if she wins, will you do the robot dance? If she

:20:42. > :20:53.wins, of course. Will you do the running man if Natalie wins? I will.

:20:54. > :20:57.Brilliant work. In a moment I will chat to Susanna and Kevin from

:20:58. > :21:02.Grimsby. We will first look at how the week in the training room has

:21:03. > :21:08.gone. The first dance is the judges' choice, the quickstep. On the night

:21:09. > :21:15.I performed it, I messed up a couple of steps and it was noticed by the

:21:16. > :21:20.judges. Going over the sofa, we almost fell over it and we cannot

:21:21. > :21:25.get that wrong. I am worried about getting flustered about the tricky

:21:26. > :21:30.footwork. I need to be confident and relaxed and I need to tell myself it

:21:31. > :21:36.is going to go right. The difference between a show dance and the other

:21:37. > :21:42.dances is that the rule book is thrown out. While that is exciting,

:21:43. > :21:50.it is also with its own challenges. It has a large chunk of ballroom and

:21:51. > :21:55.I love dancing ballroom with Kevin. Susanna is a beautifully emotional

:21:56. > :22:04.performer and a brilliantly technical dancer, more than people

:22:05. > :22:08.would believe. The show John -- the show dance is what the public look

:22:09. > :22:16.forward to and there is a lot riding on this dance people are waiting

:22:17. > :22:22.for. For the final dance, we are doing our paso doble. Kevin and I

:22:23. > :22:28.chose it because we think it is the dance we have most loved dancing

:22:29. > :22:34.together. Last time we danced it, it was one of the greatest nights of my

:22:35. > :22:40.life. We got the highest score, the first time I had a ten. Craig gave

:22:41. > :22:46.us a nine and he said he would not give us a ten. I would love to get a

:22:47. > :22:52.ten from Craig. You mention the shaping and that is what we have two

:22:53. > :22:59.work on. If he gave us a ten in the final, I do not think I would be

:23:00. > :23:09.able to control myself. It is Susanna and Kevin. It is getting

:23:10. > :23:18.emotional. You made it to the final. The F, a difficult dance,

:23:19. > :23:24.technically. -- the foxtrot. I loved it. Kevin in his glasses. That is

:23:25. > :23:29.what people want to see. We got a lovely response from the judges,

:23:30. > :23:35.which surprised me. The judges have been critical of Susanna in the past

:23:36. > :23:39.couple of weeks. Darcey said that she shone again on Saturday. What is

:23:40. > :23:45.it about this dance that suited her? It was more down to Susanna.

:23:46. > :23:49.There had been a couple of weeks when the judges came down on her and

:23:50. > :23:53.she decided she was not going to take that. She fought back and

:23:54. > :24:00.worked ridiculously hard and it is down to her work ethic. You went on

:24:01. > :24:03.to do the salsa. The last chance to impress before going through to the

:24:04. > :24:10.final. Were you worried about that, the Latin dance? I was so excited.

:24:11. > :24:18.It was like looking forward to the big party at the end. It was our

:24:19. > :24:25.party dance. Look at that. You made it look effortless. How much

:24:26. > :24:28.training did that take? We have been always all or nothing and we thought

:24:29. > :24:34.we had to make an impression and went for a big lift. The judges said

:24:35. > :24:39.it was a little bit messy, but is that the nature of the salsa, that

:24:40. > :24:44.it does not have to be structured? It is a club dance. I have had

:24:45. > :24:51.messages from salsa dancers saying well done for doing a proper salsa.

:24:52. > :25:00.It is supposed to be down and dirty. Susanna let it go. It is getting

:25:01. > :25:13.heated. In the training room, it is all about control. What did I do?

:25:14. > :25:24.You took the man's position. It is not that I am controlling, or

:25:25. > :25:29.anything. Your bum was like that. Give a bit more and be closer. You

:25:30. > :25:34.are out of time. Better when we do it in my time. Shall we start

:25:35. > :25:45.again? Let's do that. I am helping you out. Thanks. I do not like the

:25:46. > :25:54.throw with that left-hand. Susanna maybe has a better idea. We should

:25:55. > :26:02.do something more. Something bigger. We were going to go with two, three,

:26:03. > :26:14.cha-cha-cha. I am all ears. The student has become the teacher. Hell

:26:15. > :26:19.areas. -- hilarious. You could be performing up to three dances and

:26:20. > :26:22.the judges chose for you to do the quickstep again. Are you excited to

:26:23. > :26:33.have another chance to be Debbie Reynolds? I am really excited. It is

:26:34. > :26:37.a brilliant quickstep. And there was just a moment in the original

:26:38. > :26:43.performance when it did not go quite right and I see it as a fantastic

:26:44. > :26:51.opportunity to do it properly. Are you doing as it was originally

:26:52. > :27:00.choreographed? Are used rubbing it back? There will be no stripping it

:27:01. > :27:06.back. It is the final. You are doing the paso doble. An incredible

:27:07. > :27:12.moment. We will see Kevin, doing his lunges again. He got a nine last

:27:13. > :27:19.time from Craig. What would it be like to get a ten? In the film I

:27:20. > :27:25.said if Craig gave me a ten I would find it uncontrollable. I am finding

:27:26. > :27:30.it uncontrollable watching it again. It has been an emotional day. It is

:27:31. > :27:34.the last day of trading today and the thought of going out and doing

:27:35. > :27:43.that thrilling dance with Kevin, it makes me feel quite... We may need

:27:44. > :27:47.the tissues. The judges have said you are a classic all-rounder but

:27:48. > :27:53.you need to work on finishing the movements. Have you been doing some

:27:54. > :27:58.polishing? Definitely. Because it is the final, as well as energy, it has

:27:59. > :28:05.to be finished and polished. Especially with this show dance, it

:28:06. > :28:18.is slower. Let's talk about the show dance. This is the music. Think of

:28:19. > :28:28.Moulin Rouge. Will we be seeing Susanna going up in the air? Big

:28:29. > :28:34.lifts? We will be doing lifts. It is important to have some. It does not

:28:35. > :28:37.have to be all tricks, it has to be about the dancing, but we want to go

:28:38. > :28:44.all out and we have a big one planned. What is the most

:28:45. > :28:50.nerve-racking thing about this weekend? We will be in tears. I

:28:51. > :28:54.think it is holding it together. You know what it is like. You cannot

:28:55. > :29:01.describe it. It is an intense experience. Particularly the show

:29:02. > :29:05.dance with that piece of music, it is very emotional. Whatever happens

:29:06. > :29:12.on Saturday, I will enjoy every moment. I will get to dance with

:29:13. > :29:21.Kevin for the last time on the show. We cannot wait. Susanna and Kevin.

:29:22. > :29:31.That is it for today. Thanks to my guests. Make sure you tune in

:29:32. > :29:33.tomorrow for the fabulous final hour-long special. The whole class
