:00:00. > :00:07.Tonight I'm joined by Jamelia and Tristan.
:00:08. > :00:14.Plus, right here, right now, we're going to answer
:00:15. > :00:20.What on Earth was in that top secret briefcase?
:00:21. > :00:22.Are you sure you really want to know?
:00:23. > :00:36.A banana. A state to cover a couple of notes and a spot the pen.
:00:37. > :01:25.What else did you think was in there?
:01:26. > :01:29.From London, this is Strictly - It Takes Two, this is your host, Zoe
:01:30. > :01:30.Ball! We've got another surprise expert
:01:31. > :01:42.in Choreography Corner. And we've got these three answering
:01:43. > :01:48.your no-holds-barred questions. But, before that,
:01:49. > :01:53.let's meet our first couple. They've done the double and
:01:54. > :01:55.survived the dance-off yet again. Hello, and welcome,
:01:56. > :02:16.Jamelia and Tristan! Feel the love in the room for you
:02:17. > :02:20.tonight. You've survived the dance-off
:02:21. > :02:22.for the second time. Have you recovered
:02:23. > :02:35.from all the drama? Do you know what? For maybe half an
:02:36. > :02:40.hour after being in the dance off, you are a bubble of devastation.
:02:41. > :02:46.Then you get over it, especially when you get through. You pick
:02:47. > :02:51.yourself up, stop moping, I will win again and dance and other week.
:02:52. > :02:56.Ainslie said it was like being on a fairground, on a roller-coaster.
:02:57. > :03:01.Last week, your best score, second joint leader, this week, you had a
:03:02. > :03:05.hard time. Is that hard? Every week is a
:03:06. > :03:09.different dance and you have to accept that.
:03:10. > :03:15.I could be great at the charleston but I am doing the foxtrot which is
:03:16. > :03:19.completely different, the technique, everything about it.
:03:20. > :03:26.You get marked on your dance as it is. I have seen it happen to others.
:03:27. > :03:31.Your foxtrot wasn't dreadful at all, a really beautiful foxtrot. Just
:03:32. > :03:37.those little bits. That's just from me!
:03:38. > :03:41.You go up against Ainslie in the dance-off, your mate. Did you do it
:03:42. > :03:46.any differently the second time around?
:03:47. > :03:51.I absolutely love Ainslie. It was horrible to go up against him, or
:03:52. > :03:57.anyone. The second time around, you have to
:03:58. > :04:11.understand, I have the world's best cheerleader beside me at all times.
:04:12. > :04:16.Man leader! Tristan is literally, I felt like a
:04:17. > :04:23.doughnut, I am in the dance-off, but Tristan said, you will be fine.
:04:24. > :04:29.You guys can't hear him that I can. I took on board what the judges were
:04:30. > :04:33.saying, be positive, a positive mental attitude. Tristan is
:04:34. > :04:40.brilliant at bringing that out. Tristan can use it with me on a
:04:41. > :04:44.Monday morning? And say, brilliant if you can do this. How do you keep
:04:45. > :04:49.this positive attitude? Being a competitor and darts, I
:04:50. > :04:54.guess you get used to not winning, not that you didn't ever not when!
:04:55. > :04:59.Thank you! Is it something you have to deal
:05:00. > :05:03.with as a dancer? Yes, you have to deal with that with
:05:04. > :05:09.everything. Only one person can win something.
:05:10. > :05:13.It is unfortunate when you do something you like and it is
:05:14. > :05:18.dictated by whether you win or lose. You have to be happy with
:05:19. > :05:21.improvement. You can only affect whether you are
:05:22. > :05:25.better or worse than the last time. That is how you have to approach
:05:26. > :05:30.every week and keep a smile on your face. If it doesn't work out as a
:05:31. > :05:38.dancer for you, you should be a life coach!
:05:39. > :05:44.Let us talk about the illegal list, breaking the law! What are you like!
:05:45. > :05:52.Let us have a look. This apparently is an illegal list, here we go.
:05:53. > :06:00.Feet off the floor. Just to rub it in! In slow motion. And the foot is
:06:01. > :06:06.on the floor. Was that supposed to happen?
:06:07. > :06:11.Yes. Can I say something. The first time we did an illegal list was when
:06:12. > :06:17.Craig mentioned it, that is the first I knew.
:06:18. > :06:22.Do you know what? That was not a left. A list is something you can't
:06:23. > :06:27.do on your own. That was not persisted.
:06:28. > :06:35.What that was, she jumped a little bit, that is grand.
:06:36. > :06:41.It is one of those songs, a very slow song, I wasn't the biggest fan
:06:42. > :06:48.of it. I needed something to happen in the middle of it. Step, step, got
:06:49. > :06:55.carried away. It is only a left... What do you mean? Only a lift if you
:06:56. > :07:00.can't do it on your own. We understand...
:07:01. > :07:02.I will put in a list this week and show you the difference.
:07:03. > :07:06.There were lots of people on social media who loved your performance.
:07:07. > :07:12.are improving and your positivity and beaming smile makes me smile.
:07:13. > :07:17.We were all crying with Jamelia here. Thought she did really well!
:07:18. > :07:26.She is our Irish interest, now Daniel is gone.
:07:27. > :07:39.but graceful. Repeat after me, Jamelia, you can do it!
:07:40. > :08:01.This week, what are you doing for Halloween? A jive. What can you tell
:08:02. > :08:08.me about it? It is going well.
:08:09. > :08:13.It is fast, very fast. She hasn't cried yet. Halloween is
:08:14. > :08:19.always a great week, a little bit of dressing up and fun.
:08:20. > :08:22.A fun jive, looking forward to it. As Bob said, you can do it. Jimmy
:08:23. > :08:29.Leah and Tristan! Now, we've had some pretty special
:08:30. > :08:31.group dances on Strictly But, this week,
:08:32. > :08:43.it promises to be a spooktacular Get it Halloween and that means one
:08:44. > :08:50.thing, trick or treat. -- it is Halloween.
:08:51. > :08:57.In this group number, I am playing a very ugly groom. It is a nightmare.
:08:58. > :09:04.A lot of spooky creeping in this routine.
:09:05. > :09:11.Then it is amazing, I keep watching the probate, and then we come on. We
:09:12. > :09:12.are having fun. It is good, nice thoughts are with everybody
:09:13. > :09:25.altogether. Got to go. Let me tell you, I thought we were
:09:26. > :09:31.going to have a slow waltz around. They have put on the fastest music I
:09:32. > :09:35.have ever heard in my life. The others are great.
:09:36. > :09:38.I don't even know what day it is at the moment.
:09:39. > :09:42.I am really hoping this dance is a treat.
:09:43. > :09:45.30 people out there, moving together.
:09:46. > :09:52.If it is not a cheat, it could be a check, you know what happens then.
:09:53. > :09:57.This is celebrities and pro dancers all attempting to do choreography
:09:58. > :10:01.together. At the moment, I would say it is a complete disaster!
:10:02. > :10:09.Hopefully on the night it will come together. But, who knows? It is
:10:10. > :10:11.Halloween, anything can happen! It looks utterly brilliant.
:10:12. > :10:14.I spy with my little eye a flashing jukebox that only plays
:10:15. > :10:16.short exclusive bursts of music that our couples will be
:10:17. > :10:30.It must be time for Tunes On Tuesday!
:10:31. > :10:37.This weekend on Strictly, it's Halloween, so,
:10:38. > :10:39.what songs will be scaring the heebie-jeebies out of us?
:10:40. > :10:45.MUSIC: Thriller.
:10:46. > :11:02.According to the Guinness Book Of World Records, the largest number of
:11:03. > :11:06.people to ever dance the Thriller routine at the same time is 13,597.
:11:07. > :11:08.So, which one of our couples will be hoping to
:11:09. > :11:18.CREW: Ooh!
:11:19. > :11:23.Yes, it's Jeremy and Karen who will be salsa-ing to that.
:11:24. > :11:35.This is The Phantom Of The Opera, of course.
:11:36. > :11:43.This calls for a mysteriously masked man.
:11:44. > :11:56.Stat fans, did you know that each West End performance of
:11:57. > :12:04.The Phantom uses 230 costumes, 281 candles and 250kg of dry ice?
:12:05. > :12:06.But who will be dancing to it on Saturday.
:12:07. > :12:30.Let's move on to our last song, and this one is
:12:31. > :12:45.It's I Think I Love You, by The Partridge Family.
:12:46. > :12:48.Fans of '70s American, music-based TV sitcoms will know
:12:49. > :12:50.that The Partridge Family was a series starring Shirley Jones
:12:51. > :12:59.It was about five siblings who embarked on a musical career
:13:00. > :13:03.together, and they only went on to sell over 25 million records.
:13:04. > :13:05.So, which one of our lovely couples is dancing to this?
:13:06. > :13:12.CREW: Ooh!
:13:13. > :13:21.If you want to find out what music the rest of our couples are dancing
:13:22. > :13:33.It's all OK now, rest on my shoulder.
:13:34. > :13:35.Now, Karen Hardy isn't with us this week.
:13:36. > :13:36.I've heard she's on some ex-Strictly champions retreat.
:13:37. > :13:39.But, fear not, because we've got a familiar face
:13:40. > :13:43.She's been part of the Strictly family for the past eight years,
:13:44. > :13:47.Fine, I'll put you out of your misery.
:13:48. > :13:55.Yes, making the hot seat even hotter today is pro-dancer,
:13:56. > :14:04.Firstly, how has your week been since we lost you
:14:05. > :14:27.It was so sad, he called me on Saturday and said he
:14:28. > :14:28.Starting salsa,. with Georgia and Giovanni.
:14:29. > :14:30.They got 31 points, the same as last week.
:14:31. > :14:32.Craig said her preparation into lifts is poor,
:14:33. > :14:42.Look at head dancing, straight into the lift, feet are tight and neat.
:14:43. > :14:44.Not wobbling or anything. I completely disagree with Craig, I
:14:45. > :14:49.don't know what he was talking about. This to me as an amateur she
:14:50. > :14:55.did a fantastic job with very difficult lifts. There were go, well
:14:56. > :14:59.done Georgia. We have to remember they are amateurs. Just learning.
:15:00. > :15:06.29 points, their second lowest of the series.
:15:07. > :15:12.Bruno said Peter tends to be clipped, and the rumba has to have
:15:13. > :15:20.You can shed light on all of that for us. What he meant is that the
:15:21. > :15:25.hips have to go nonstop from side to side. He is doing the coca Radz here
:15:26. > :15:30.and he does a bit of hip action but he has to stop. There has to be
:15:31. > :15:35.continuation from steps to step. The Rumba is a notoriously difficult
:15:36. > :15:38.dance for mail celebrities. They feel exposed and uncomfortable. It
:15:39. > :15:43.is only week five, he is trying, down the line I am sure he will be a
:15:44. > :15:49.lot better. I would like to do a little demonstration. Kristina,
:15:50. > :15:55.please do! It has to go from side to side. Even if we close off we keep
:15:56. > :16:02.going, with our hips. That is what Bruno meant. Never stop that. Never
:16:03. > :16:07.a stillness, always a motion. Keep that going all the time. John the
:16:08. > :16:08.cameraman is doing it constantly. Keep going.
:16:09. > :16:20.Their paso scored 33 points, Darcey said Jay had the best arms
:16:21. > :16:36.I kind of agree with both of them. Look at this position, drops his
:16:37. > :16:48.arms. Back to a hold. I think it is glass half full, half empty. Len saw
:16:49. > :16:52.him drop arms. So there is a transition from one to another and
:16:53. > :17:00.it has to be fought over at all times. Arms should never be dropped.
:17:01. > :17:02.We expect a lot from Jay. We are a bit harsh. We want perfection from
:17:03. > :17:04.him, which will come, I'm sure. They dropped 12 points
:17:05. > :17:07.from last week, getting 21. Darcey said it was messy in places,
:17:08. > :17:16.and the timing wasn't great. They had an unfortunate couple of
:17:17. > :17:20.incidents, what did you make of it? I saw the dance in the dress run and
:17:21. > :17:23.I thought it was fantastic. She forgot to spin into her first left,
:17:24. > :17:27.made a mistake, and from that point I think she never really recovered.
:17:28. > :17:30.Because once you do a mistake in the live show, you start doubting
:17:31. > :17:34.everything, being unsure of everything. That has messed them up,
:17:35. > :17:38.because the beginning of the dance was really good. She kept her basic
:17:39. > :17:42.very tight and clean. But like I said once you make a mistake it is
:17:43. > :17:45.really hard to recover for amateurs. They don't really know how to get
:17:46. > :17:48.back into the rhythm of the dance. It is really sad. I do think she
:17:49. > :17:53.feels more comfortable in ballroom dance. This is an unfortunate thing,
:17:54. > :17:56.she needs to believe in herself and let herself go a little bit more.
:17:57. > :17:58.And don't give herself such a hard time because it was still a great
:17:59. > :17:58.dance. And finally,
:17:59. > :18:06.Kellie and Kevin's jive. It was at a later on this. We are
:18:07. > :18:11.about to speak to them, 35 points, joint highest of the week that Helen
:18:12. > :18:15.and Ali Ash will stop Craig said it could have done with a bit more
:18:16. > :18:26.traction in the leg. What does that mean? I have chosen this bit because
:18:27. > :18:33.they are so much in sync. It is very hard. But the that clear positions.
:18:34. > :18:36.I think what he meant was in jazz and Sambu, our body weight slightly
:18:37. > :18:42.more forward on the balls of the feet. We are slightly lower in the
:18:43. > :18:48.centre, because the music is very fast. We have to keep our legs
:18:49. > :18:52.underneath the body. Another demonstration! APPLAUSE
:18:53. > :18:57.In Rumba and chat chat we stay upright and in Sambu and jive, we
:18:58. > :19:00.moved to the ball of the feet, so our diaphragm is a bit forward as
:19:01. > :19:04.well. When we do the kicks, the links go back and kind of retractor
:19:05. > :19:09.like a yo-yo. So that is what we do, that is what he meant, have to go
:19:10. > :19:13.back a little bit higher. That was probably missing towards the end of
:19:14. > :19:17.the dance. Again, such an energetic dance and they did fantastically. To
:19:18. > :19:29.me, a very good performance and I love the look. I was so jealous of
:19:30. > :19:32.that hat on Kellie! Will you come back and do more for us, Christina?
:19:33. > :19:52.Are someone should say that dancing on
:19:53. > :20:00.telly is not a best way to keep a low profile. It is Kellie and Kevin.
:20:01. > :20:02.Hello, and welcome, Kellie and Kevin!
:20:03. > :20:14.Well done, super, smashing a great, that jive was. How tough was it to
:20:15. > :20:19.learn that and be so brilliant, Kellie? I still have no voice from
:20:20. > :20:24.Saturday night because of screaming so much! It was a really hard week,
:20:25. > :20:28.our hardest week, without a doubt. It was just a relentless routine. I
:20:29. > :20:33.loved it, I really loved it, but it is one of those routines that
:20:34. > :20:37.because it was so quick, many run-throughs, especially on a
:20:38. > :20:41.Friday, I didn't do it right once. It is that moment before you go
:20:42. > :20:44.live, and you think please, please let this one go right, please,
:20:45. > :20:48.please. So it is just at the end when you see me screaming like a
:20:49. > :20:52.lunatic, it is because I am so relieved that it is done and I
:20:53. > :20:55.didn't mess it up! That is the other thing people don't appreciate, the
:20:56. > :21:00.speed of that, to rehearse that again and again takes it out of you.
:21:01. > :21:03.The stamina you need. And we are doing all of our rehearsals in the
:21:04. > :21:07.evening because I am working all day at the moment, so we were rehearsing
:21:08. > :21:12.from 7pm to about half past ten at night. Doing that at ten o'clock at
:21:13. > :21:17.night, it is hard, isn't it? I was exhausted as well! Kevin at what
:21:18. > :21:21.point last week did you think Hang on, she has got it? Did you ever
:21:22. > :21:30.tell her brilliant or just keep hanging? I do know if there was that
:21:31. > :21:36.point for most of the week! No, it was a struggle of a week. Maybe
:21:37. > :21:39.Thursday night? Kellie got this look in her eye on Thursday night and I
:21:40. > :21:43.can tell when she is really on form, because when we start to practice
:21:44. > :21:46.she has this look in her eye where she goes like that. I think she is
:21:47. > :21:50.going to do it. And it went a bit wrong when we practice it on Friday,
:21:51. > :21:56.then she had that look again on Saturday, and I thought it could go
:21:57. > :21:59.well today. She smashed it. Shall we take a minute to celebrate finally,
:22:00. > :22:07.top of the leaderboard! CHEERING Lieu macro who knew?
:22:08. > :22:12.When you are up, care of, icons, is dancing. You are sharing that with
:22:13. > :22:18.your lovely friend, Helen out of the top. Did your heart burst with
:22:19. > :22:26.pride, Len said rewind, you wanted to see it again, Darcey said
:22:27. > :22:29.extraordinary. They were all lovely, when Len said I would love to see
:22:30. > :22:33.that again, I thought oh no you wouldn't, I can't do it again! It is
:22:34. > :22:38.amazing to be joint top of the leaderboard. We never expected that.
:22:39. > :22:41.I have said it before but I don't feel like I am part of a
:22:42. > :22:45.competition, just part of a dancing show. So the whole scoring,
:22:46. > :22:48.leaderboard thing sort of feels like, I don't know, it feels
:22:49. > :22:53.slightly outside of what we are doing. I am just there to learn this
:22:54. > :22:57.routine, do to the best we can and whatever happens kind of happens. It
:22:58. > :23:02.is lovely. Those comments were amazing and overwhelming, but next
:23:03. > :23:05.week it is a whole new week. That is the great thing in a way, that we
:23:06. > :23:13.just all start again and we are all on the same... It is exciting. OK,
:23:14. > :23:20.paso doble, for Halloween, we know that you are the paso doble King,
:23:21. > :23:26.effectively. I thought he was the jive King! That was until J
:23:27. > :23:30.McGuinness piped up! Yes, Kevin who? Don't feel the pressure, he does
:23:31. > :23:34.quite well in this dance. It could be brilliant. I have my toughest
:23:35. > :23:41.week yet. We have no time this week, like none. Do you want me to go and
:23:42. > :23:50.fill in in Eastenders. Would you? That would be great. Danny Dyer
:23:51. > :24:02.would love it. Any costumes, any hints? Two words. Harry Potter!
:24:03. > :24:06.APPLAUSE We thought you spend a lot of time,
:24:07. > :24:11.you do get much time to learn your lines stop Kent has been Danny Dyer
:24:12. > :24:17.in rehearsals. We thought we would love to see a bit of Kevin De Bruyne
:24:18. > :24:25.Eastenders. And this is a genuine EastEnders
:24:26. > :24:29.scene just after the Carters first And that leaves me with Shirley who,
:24:30. > :24:34.at the time, everyone thought was Mick's sister
:24:35. > :24:43.when in fact she was his mother! You have got the first line. If
:24:44. > :24:52.anyone says Noel Edmonds, they get a slap. The bar was empty, all of
:24:53. > :24:59.them, how money people drinking here yesterday, a million? The Moons had
:25:00. > :25:07.a deal on it, a drink a pound. Now she tells us, weren't you one of
:25:08. > :25:14.those people? Tina was here and all. What we do now? I will be keen as
:25:15. > :25:22.well. We are almost out of spirits, comeback with some snacks! You work
:25:23. > :25:27.in a! Worked! We need it on thick, you can do that for us, right?
:25:28. > :25:34.LAUGHTER I think that was brilliant! APPLAUSE
:25:35. > :25:37.We will do that every week. We will leave you to do the East End as from
:25:38. > :25:46.now on. Good luck with your paso doble. You always brilliant. Good
:25:47. > :25:52.luck, Kellie and Kevin! I apologise, I'm so sorry. At the weekend, social
:25:53. > :26:15.media was going into meltdown. So many questions, let's be quick.
:26:16. > :26:19.Molly wants to know how do you achieve the perfect ballroom hold?
