:00:12. > :00:21.I'm here with Anita and after Len told them their rumba
:00:22. > :00:24.wasn't his cup of tea last weekend, she's been trying to make
:00:25. > :00:28.Guys, just checking, you haven't put any illegal lifts in there?
:00:29. > :00:30.And there's none of that funny "through the legs business"?
:00:31. > :00:49.Oh, you've only put one sugar in there, right?
:00:50. > :01:19.Live from London, this is Strictly It Takes Two! Please welcome your
:01:20. > :01:22.host, Zoe Ball! Tonight our showbiz greenroom
:01:23. > :01:34.is bursting at the seams. If you're pining for a hair,
:01:35. > :01:36.make up and fashion fix, then fear not because
:01:37. > :01:39.the Strictly glam squad are here. And there's no better way to end
:01:40. > :01:43.a show than with a little dance. So Janette Manrara is here with
:01:44. > :01:47.a very special demo, so grab A colander or a saucepan will do if
:01:48. > :02:04.you have not got a top hat. But first, their sizzling rumba
:02:05. > :02:07.divided the judges at the weekend. Personally I think nothing says
:02:08. > :02:09.romance more than an illegal lift and a man doing the
:02:10. > :02:33.splits. Wellcome, any to! Hang on a minute,
:02:34. > :02:43.shut the front door. You are Gleb less. Where is he? He has had an
:02:44. > :02:47.allergic reaction. Bless him. He went to see the doctor and his
:02:48. > :02:53.beautiful face was swelling in a rather alarming way. But I have
:02:54. > :02:59.heard he will be fine. Get well soon, Gleb. Don't worry, I know
:03:00. > :03:06.everybody needs their fix, so we have the next best thing. As if by
:03:07. > :03:13.magic... It is like he is in the room! We wish him well. Your rumba
:03:14. > :03:19.on Saturday was so gorgeous. Look at your hair as well. Stunning.
:03:20. > :03:23.Clever, clever lady. You said on the show you felt quite vulnerable in
:03:24. > :03:28.this dance. How did it feel on Saturday night when you finally got
:03:29. > :03:33.to perform on the floor? I have the same feeling every week. I love it
:03:34. > :03:39.when I get out there and I am able to perform these dancers. That was a
:03:40. > :03:45.very difficult dance to learn. The rumba is so exposing for the woman.
:03:46. > :03:50.It is a hard dance to do. I loved the result and the choreography. I
:03:51. > :03:56.know it's split the judges. Sometimes that can be exciting when
:03:57. > :04:00.you get a difference. And it is different, I guess. Len did pick up
:04:01. > :04:08.on the illegal lists shocker! Were you aware you are breaking the
:04:09. > :04:12.rules? -- illegal lifts. We had a gorgeous song. Gleb did the
:04:13. > :04:16.choreography and he said, this song, because of the way the song is, it
:04:17. > :04:22.requires a bit of a contemporary feel to it. He is really shaking it
:04:23. > :04:27.up. His choreography to so much thought and creativity into it.
:04:28. > :04:34.There were lots of rumba moves in there but he did the pulling me
:04:35. > :04:38.through the legs. I loved that lift. I loved it. I thought it looked
:04:39. > :04:44.beautiful and I felt really elegant doing it. I know we break the law
:04:45. > :04:50.little bit but hopefully people appreciated it. We risk takers.
:04:51. > :04:55.Bruno loved it. He gave a nine. Craig thought it was spiky and Len
:04:56. > :04:59.said it was not his cup of tea. What did you make of the comments? I have
:05:00. > :05:04.the same experience every week. I love hearing what they have to say
:05:05. > :05:08.and I find it really entertaining. Because I entered Strictly with no
:05:09. > :05:12.expectations and what I am capable of doing, I thought, I am starting
:05:13. > :05:18.from scratch, everything they say is valid. I have a positive filter on
:05:19. > :05:24.my ears. When I hear positive stuff, that is what stays with me. That is
:05:25. > :05:30.so good, can I have it? I always remember the bad things. No, you
:05:31. > :05:36.have to live in a positive bubble. But if they are critiquing me and
:05:37. > :05:42.saying my move could be better, then I listen. If that will help me
:05:43. > :05:47.become a better dancer than I try my best. The week before you were in
:05:48. > :05:52.Blackpool and you had the amazing scores. These were not bad but you
:05:53. > :06:00.had a couple of seventh. Were you at all worried? Not at all. I was just
:06:01. > :06:06.really happy that we had done the dance. We had a tough week learning
:06:07. > :06:11.it. I know I brought what I could. Yes, could it have been better? If I
:06:12. > :06:16.had trained for another ten years, would it be perfect? Probably not. I
:06:17. > :06:22.was proud of what I achieved. Last week they loved it, this week, not
:06:23. > :06:27.so much. There is still time to go. You are in the quarterfinal! So
:06:28. > :06:34.exciting! It was not just your performance which got people talking
:06:35. > :06:39.on social media. Gleb, you managed to get some attention. Fiona said, I
:06:40. > :06:43.nearly needed oxygen after Gleb's splits. Not good to shock a woman
:06:44. > :06:47.like that when she is eating meatballs.
:06:48. > :06:56.That is a lesson to all of us. Amanda said, call that box splits?
:06:57. > :07:01.This is box splits, performed by my nine-year-old daughter, Grace.
:07:02. > :07:05.Amazing. The top tip for Grace is if you want to still be able to do
:07:06. > :07:11.those in your 30s, you have to keep doing them every single day. Gleb
:07:12. > :07:15.has been stretching. He was on a mission to get himself into those
:07:16. > :07:21.splits. He has never been the same sense! Maybe that is what has
:07:22. > :07:25.happened to him today. On we go. Are you feeling more
:07:26. > :07:31.competitive? You are all incredible. You have never been in a dance-off
:07:32. > :07:37.either, but you have never been topping yet. We need that to
:07:38. > :07:42.happen. I will try my hardest. Is it more competitive? I don't think so.
:07:43. > :07:48.I have the same attitude that I had in week one which is focused on what
:07:49. > :07:51.I have to do. Everybody is so good, so brilliant. If I start thinking
:07:52. > :07:57.about what other people are doing, then I will spin out of control. I
:07:58. > :08:06.have to focus on what me and Gleb are doing and stick to our game.
:08:07. > :08:10.This is the music from Chicago. Argentine tango, which is incredibly
:08:11. > :08:16.complex and intricate. Are you love and it? How difficult is it? It is
:08:17. > :08:22.super difficult. It is tough but I love the song, I love the musical. I
:08:23. > :08:26.love this dance. If you have seen the musical, they are in prison and
:08:27. > :08:32.they are talking and singing about how they murdered the men in their
:08:33. > :08:40.lives! After 13 beautiful weeks with Gleb trapped in a studio, it is like
:08:41. > :08:45.now, he had it coming! Good luck with it. I think you will be an
:08:46. > :08:51.incredible Velma on the floor. We will see your costume in a minute. I
:08:52. > :08:56.haven't seen it yet. I can't wait. I have had a peak, it is amazing. Good
:08:57. > :09:01.luck on Saturday. It is Anita! Tomorrow we have a VIP joining us
:09:02. > :09:03.in the studio. Craig Revel Horwood will be here,
:09:04. > :09:06.so if you've got a question you want to ask him
:09:07. > :09:09.then send them to us via social media using hash tag Ask
:09:10. > :09:11.ITT. Now, with only a couple of days to
:09:12. > :09:15.go before Strictly goes to the musicals, I do believe the hills are
:09:16. > :09:18.alive with the sound of... training, so let's see how Georgia
:09:19. > :09:30.and Katie are getting on. We are doing the slow foxtrot this
:09:31. > :09:36.week. It is brilliant because it is the best dance. It is the dancer's
:09:37. > :09:42.dance. We have been working on technical bits of the foxtrot today.
:09:43. > :09:49.It is great, really interesting. It is the relation of the foot to the
:09:50. > :09:54.body. I love the Anton lectures. It is a powerful dance. Hopefully it
:09:55. > :10:03.will be powerful and fabulous on Saturday night. Who knows?
:10:04. > :10:10.Slow Fox is, it should be really smooth. Learning the slow timing of
:10:11. > :10:18.it is proving difficult. Why do you go there if I am there? OK!
:10:19. > :10:27.Shoulders down, head back. Now eager, Biggar. It is hard work.
:10:28. > :10:31.Everything is bigger. Can't have mistakes at this time in the
:10:32. > :10:34.competition. Looking good, ladies.
:10:35. > :10:37.It's Thursday, which means it's time to coax a certain lady
:10:38. > :10:39.out of the closet and hopefully she'll drag a few frocks
:10:40. > :11:01.She is Vicky Gill, ladies and gentlemen! And very excitingly, we
:11:02. > :11:07.hear congratulations are in order because this week you won and RTS
:11:08. > :11:12.award for Best costumes. Well done! We are really pleased. It is nice to
:11:13. > :11:20.win the award but without everybody, it is everyone on the
:11:21. > :11:27.team. Does everyone get to take a photograph with it and pass it back?
:11:28. > :11:35.Well done! How excited are you for musicals we? I am never ready but we
:11:36. > :11:40.will have something. They will all be wearing something! Do you have to
:11:41. > :11:45.measure the celebrity is quite a bit because they are all losing weight?
:11:46. > :11:50.All of our lovely ladies have got fabulous figures but they have
:11:51. > :11:54.changed. Their shapes change. Their core becomes longer and Li Na. We do
:11:55. > :12:06.not we measure them but we are watching out when we are taking it
:12:07. > :12:11.in --. There is an interesting thing, you have a surprising trip of
:12:12. > :12:17.the trade for measuring the celebrities. Check this out.
:12:18. > :12:21.Hello, my name is Michelle and I work in production on Strictly. I
:12:22. > :12:25.make all the mannequins for the celebrities and dancers so every
:12:26. > :12:30.dress it's perfectly. My trick of the trade is bubble wrap! We use
:12:31. > :12:34.bubble wrap to create the right shape and size for each dancer.
:12:35. > :12:40.Throughout the series, body shapes change with all the dancing so we
:12:41. > :12:48.remove bubble wrap to reflect that. That is my trick of the trade.
:12:49. > :12:52.Look at that! Michelle is in a cupboard somewhere popping or that
:12:53. > :12:59.bubble wrap! Let's have a look at this week's addresses. We will start
:13:00. > :13:05.with Anita's Argentine tango. She is our very own Velma this weekend.
:13:06. > :13:11.This is stunning. Vicky, talk us through it. Very sheer, because it
:13:12. > :13:16.is Chicago, it will be sheer and sexy. These have been put in for
:13:17. > :13:25.modesty at the moment. They may not be there. It feels like it needs to
:13:26. > :13:29.be very short, but because Anita is doing Argentine tango, I think we
:13:30. > :13:34.should have length to it. We will have links with the fringe but
:13:35. > :13:38.hopefully we will see lots of leg and movement through the fringe. We
:13:39. > :13:44.will have laid it up in different angles depending on what they feel
:13:45. > :13:50.about the move. Will it come up? I don't think it will come up. We will
:13:51. > :13:54.shape it so we make it shorter angles and longer pieces so when
:13:55. > :13:58.they are at rest, it will feel shapely and slinky but when she is
:13:59. > :14:06.moving she will have lots of leg. She has a very happy face, she loves
:14:07. > :14:12.it! That she preferred the Long ballroom or the short Latin? I do
:14:13. > :14:16.think she has a favourite. I think it all depends on the performance.
:14:17. > :14:27.However she needs to feel and move is how she chooses her length and
:14:28. > :14:31.style. Am I right? Spot-on! And onto our very own beauty, Georgia dancing
:14:32. > :14:35.to Beauty and the Beast with Giovanni. This is stunning. I know
:14:36. > :14:42.my little girl at home will say, money, that is amazing. She will be
:14:43. > :14:47.Belle. I am not thinking about how much detail we are putting into this
:14:48. > :14:52.design in terms of the shape and style of it, because we are
:14:53. > :14:58.referencing Belle. All of the girls at home, how pretty is the skirt, is
:14:59. > :15:03.it the same colour? Will they be entering into a Beauty and the Beast
:15:04. > :15:08.moment on the Saturday night? Georgia is a tiny little thing. She
:15:09. > :15:12.will carry that off well. I'm sure there will be little boys who want
:15:13. > :15:21.to wear that as well. We are moving on to Helen. They are dancing to Les
:15:22. > :15:36.Mis. We never want to be disrespectful
:15:37. > :15:40.but we want to create beautiful dresses for Saturday night. Little
:15:41. > :15:47.references, the corset detail, the shape on the bust. We get a bustle
:15:48. > :15:51.field but that may go. We may build it even more depending on how
:15:52. > :15:56.comfortable Helen is. Two great big split at the front so we will be
:15:57. > :16:05.seeing her legs. There may be a couple back. Smoked topaz in colour.
:16:06. > :16:11.Lots of different textures but very dark. All the costumes will be
:16:12. > :16:22.incredible. A reference to the lying King. The cast are coming into dance
:16:23. > :16:26.with some of the pro dancers. -- the Lion King. We have very bright
:16:27. > :16:35.linings with green tones over the top. It will be amazing. The
:16:36. > :16:39.award-winning Vicky Gill, ladies and gentlemen.
:16:40. > :16:42.When it comes to choreography we've seen it all, including Jeremy Vine
:16:43. > :16:45.in a shower, but how do our professionals come up with it all?
:16:46. > :16:56.We sent Robin Windsor to get some answers from that Kevin Clifton.
:16:57. > :17:05.Hallow, Kevin. How are you? I am good, mate. I have to say you have
:17:06. > :17:08.done an incredible job this series with Kelly. She has gone from
:17:09. > :17:15.strength to strength. We are having a really good time. When you get
:17:16. > :17:20.given a dance and your music, what is the first thing that comes into
:17:21. > :17:26.your head? The first thing is, what is the story of the song? I will
:17:27. > :17:30.listen to it over and again. I am in my front room. The problem is Karen
:17:31. > :17:35.is there as well. We are dancing around the living room. If there is
:17:36. > :17:40.something I cannot quite figure out how it would work, I might grab
:17:41. > :17:46.Karen and throw her around. Go back, go back! Out the corner of my
:17:47. > :17:57.eye I see Karen doing something that is quite cool and Ice-T 's -- I
:17:58. > :18:06.steal it. Is there a style of dance you choreograph more than any other?
:18:07. > :18:14.Paso dough blade. My favourite was your one with Susanna Reid. --
:18:15. > :18:18.Doble. With Paso, there is a very defined character. You want the
:18:19. > :18:23.audience to be in that story. If they are going, I like how she
:18:24. > :18:28.pointed her foot in dance, you have almost got it wrong. I want the
:18:29. > :18:35.audience to be crying and jumping up and down in excitement, going, I
:18:36. > :18:38.love that! This might be quite controversial but if you focus so
:18:39. > :18:42.much on technique and not on the story and character, even if they
:18:43. > :18:47.are brilliant, the dance itself might be boring. You are performing
:18:48. > :18:53.to how ever many million people at home wanting to enjoy the show. For
:18:54. > :18:59.me, that comes first. We work very similar. Do you tried to appeal to
:19:00. > :19:07.all four of the judges or just one in particular? I put a Len step in
:19:08. > :19:11.there, something that is very traditional and basic. Stick a heel
:19:12. > :19:17.turn in there and make sure it is right in front of him, very obvious.
:19:18. > :19:23.I will say to Kelly, this is the Len step. Bring your heels together and
:19:24. > :19:30.turn like that and do three in a row in front of land. If you miss the
:19:31. > :19:35.first one, you are going to see the second. In the training room, when
:19:36. > :19:42.you are teaching Kelly the choreography, what do you do if she
:19:43. > :19:48.is having problems? She does not like it if she cannot get a step.
:19:49. > :19:55.All I have to say to Kelly is, maybe I will will make it easier. That is
:19:56. > :20:00.the worst thing you can say to any of the celebrities. She does not
:20:01. > :20:05.like it. She will get it about half an hour later. You have done a
:20:06. > :20:13.brilliant job so far. We all love you. Thanks, mate.
:20:14. > :20:16.Earlier on Vicky Gill gave us a sneaky look at some of the
:20:17. > :20:20.costumes for this weekend's show but a good frock ain't nothing without a
:20:21. > :20:23.bit of hair and make up, so please welcome the Strictly Glam Squad.
:20:24. > :20:32.Bryony and Lisa. Hallow, ladies. Thanks for coming to see us. Does
:20:33. > :20:36.the week if you a chance to do more crazy experimental stuff? It still
:20:37. > :20:45.does you have already been given a character. It is all about
:20:46. > :20:52.modernising it. You are in charge of hair. How important is the do, the
:20:53. > :20:59.Barnet, in musicals week? It is the same really. They will be moving
:21:00. > :21:04.around lots and upside down. We do it week on things. We will start
:21:05. > :21:08.with Georgia and Giovanni. We have seen the beautiful dress. How are
:21:09. > :21:16.you going to turn Giovanni into a beast? So much fun. We're going to
:21:17. > :21:23.do it all in the face paint. They will make it so much softer. We will
:21:24. > :21:31.draw in the teeth and give him contact lenses. We are going to
:21:32. > :21:40.sneeze glitter on him. That is the official technique, is it? What
:21:41. > :21:46.about Georgia's hair? This kind of thing. We will use her own hair, set
:21:47. > :21:54.it in rollers and stuff, and tease it into the shape so she becomes a
:21:55. > :22:00.princess. She looks so beautiful with it. I loved it when she had all
:22:01. > :22:08.the lovely flowers in her hair. Katie is dancing to maybe this time
:22:09. > :22:14.from Cabaret. We are modernising it. Liza Minnelli had massive, blue
:22:15. > :22:18.eye shadow right up to the eyebrows. We are restraining it a little bit
:22:19. > :22:23.and putting on lots of green glitter with false lashes underneath. She
:22:24. > :22:31.had the signature Hollywood red lips. We are going to glitter those.
:22:32. > :22:38.Is that easy? It is really hard to put them on and off. If she is
:22:39. > :22:45.snogging people, we will find out. It all goes on around here. The wig
:22:46. > :22:56.is back. Lisa 's top row Chris she is using it again. Anita has worn
:22:57. > :23:03.this week and Jeannette. It will be the shape of Liza Minnelli. We will
:23:04. > :23:08.do kiss curls. It will be nice. What about her own hair? She has quite a
:23:09. > :23:17.lot of hair. Her hair will be wrapped around her head and she will
:23:18. > :23:28.have the wig cap on. About 1000 hairpins. Also, our pros are dancing
:23:29. > :23:37.with some of the cast from the lying King. Talk us through the look. When
:23:38. > :23:42.it comes to pro dancers, a lot of the girls are no longer in it and we
:23:43. > :23:47.can take more time. We are going to go in with the fingers, all white
:23:48. > :23:59.war paint. It will go yellow. We will have green. Is. Beautiful smoky
:24:00. > :24:05.eyes and a lovely lip. Quite fast turnaround, isn't it? After the
:24:06. > :24:15.group they have to be back in their own make up. We all work together.
:24:16. > :24:23.It is a bit of a scramble. It looks incredible. Basically, the girls,
:24:24. > :24:31.this sort of thing we will use. To go along with the tribal look, big,
:24:32. > :24:38.wild hair, Platz, lots of texture. Crimping. There is going to be
:24:39. > :24:48.crimping. Crimping, curls, Platz. Maybe some ribbons to match with the
:24:49. > :24:53.make-up colours. We can not wait. You are doing such incredible work.
:24:54. > :24:54.You may be involved in some dancing. Let's hear it for Bryony
:24:55. > :24:57.and Lisa. You know the score
:24:58. > :24:59.when it comes to Friday. We're on at 6pm, well that's
:25:00. > :25:02.unless Andy Murray decides to play Nevertheless, I've lined up
:25:03. > :25:21.a pretty good show for you. Ian Waite takes us through the most
:25:22. > :25:28.memorable musical theatre moments from Strictly passed. Everyone's
:25:29. > :25:33.favourite judge with a grudge, Craig Greville Horwood, joins us. It Takes
:25:34. > :25:37.Two, live at six p.m.. In honour
:25:38. > :25:40.of the musical theme this weekend, our professional dancers will be
:25:41. > :25:42.performing a suitably showbiz group So I think we need to learn a few
:25:43. > :26:12.moves from the routine with the help We have the glamour squads,
:26:13. > :26:19.professional dancer and Nicky -- Vicky is with us as well. Pop the
