:00:49. > :00:53.Live from London. This is strictly, it takes two. Please welcome your

:00:54. > :01:02.host. Hello and welcome to It Takes Two,

:01:03. > :01:05.where like all the shops, we've started Hallowe'en

:01:06. > :01:06.celebrations early! But there's nothing

:01:07. > :01:08.frightening about this show, Plus, she's the Queen of Halloween,

:01:09. > :01:23.it's costumer designer, Vicky Gill! And the moment you've

:01:24. > :01:27.all been waiting for. We'll be revealing which scary

:01:28. > :01:31.costume you chose for Ian Waite! Thank you for standing

:01:32. > :01:37.in Mr Pumpkin. Now, our first couple this evening

:01:38. > :01:41.can generally be found near the very top of the leaderboard -

:01:42. > :01:44.even after dancing a Rumba - it's terribly difficult,

:01:45. > :01:45.don't you know! They made it look easy,

:01:46. > :02:02.it's Danny Oti! That's what I like. It was a

:02:03. > :02:10.masculine performance. Those hips have plenty of life into

:02:11. > :02:15.it, darling! I love, love, love watching you.

:02:16. > :02:28.Would you believe it. It's Danny and Oti.

:02:29. > :02:33.I want to introduce you like that. The first male celebrity to tackle

:02:34. > :02:37.the rumba this series, wow! Was it as difficult as everyone says it is?

:02:38. > :02:45.It really was. It was terrifying during the week. I had some great

:02:46. > :02:57.examples from Aljaz... Was it the week we did it? The same week.

:02:58. > :03:00.Actually watching it back it went smoother than it felt, if I'm

:03:01. > :03:06.honest. I had no idea how it had gone. From where I was it looked

:03:07. > :03:11.perfect. Len said strong, mass cue line performance. Did -- masculine

:03:12. > :03:18.performance. Did you have to bring out your inner beef cake? There is a

:03:19. > :03:25.fine line. Oti would laugh at me in training. That must help! But, Oti

:03:26. > :03:30.is such a strong, powerful woman, it is hard no not to cower away. She

:03:31. > :03:39.made sure I brought it. You did, Oti. It was impressive. 36 weeks...

:03:40. > :03:45.What? 36 points, the two previous weeks, were you sad to drop a point?

:03:46. > :03:48.It was only one point? Honestly I didn't expect the scores we got at

:03:49. > :03:52.all. The previous week we did the quickstep. I had the most fun. If we

:03:53. > :03:57.got twos I would have been happy. Didn't matter. That went so well. So

:03:58. > :04:03.this week I was honestly thinking it would be quite low and the rumba's

:04:04. > :04:09.like famous for that. Even after the comments, they were great and

:04:10. > :04:13.constructive, but when we ent up and got eight and three nines, it didn't

:04:14. > :04:20.make sense to me, if I am honest. I'll take it! You're a happy, happy

:04:21. > :04:25.boy. We did talk about the sliding doors. You know Len loves that step.

:04:26. > :04:30.It's so good. Honestly I don't know what Len likes and doesn't like. I

:04:31. > :04:34.know when you do any dance you want to have these basic elements of a

:04:35. > :04:43.rumba. We had, like you don't know... We had, what did we have? We

:04:44. > :04:47.had opening... We had a few things. You moved on to this week.

:04:48. > :04:51.The sliding doors. So we had a few things. It was a good feeling that

:04:52. > :04:58.he kind of recognised and then loved it. We got told off in week one for

:04:59. > :05:03.not having enough content. Don't mess with her! Yeah! So much love on

:05:04. > :05:12.line for you. A lovely message. Oti Mabuse, your choreography

:05:13. > :05:14.is exceptional. It's great we properly see

:05:15. > :05:19.what you can do this series. called Danny Mac tweeted: I've seen

:05:20. > :05:22.so much appreciation An immensely incredible talent

:05:23. > :05:28.and I truly believe, star And for that Danny Mac,

:05:29. > :05:47.we got you this Hollow wean this week and a foxtrot

:05:48. > :05:56.to Take Me To Church. What's the occasion you're going to church?

:05:57. > :06:03.What is the occasion, Oti? It is like, I say a corpse wedding, it is

:06:04. > :06:08.a wedding and it turns dark. It is a nice wedding but then turns a bit

:06:09. > :06:12.dark. You see an evil side to the couple that are attached. It is

:06:13. > :06:16.good. A great concept. There are a couple of little bits in it which

:06:17. > :06:20.are quite testing and new. It is a really nice touch if we can make it

:06:21. > :06:26.work. You're making it sound very, very good indeed. It is a contrast

:06:27. > :06:31.to the rumba as well. Foxtrot. What are your teaching methods like, Oti?

:06:32. > :06:37.I use anything and everything I can see, just to get him to understand.

:06:38. > :06:41.I do try: Because I am so technical in teaching, I try to slow it down

:06:42. > :06:48.and speak to him so he can understand. Whatever I can find,

:06:49. > :06:52.bananas, brooms, chairs... Are they prizes or are they props? They are

:06:53. > :06:56.props, so he can understand the language I'm speaking. It seems to

:06:57. > :07:00.work. It's definitely working! I told her to hold a chair and do the

:07:01. > :07:06.entire routine. By yourself. I cannot bear it. I am like, no, no,

:07:07. > :07:09.no. Can I just... ? She's like no and she stands there like a teacher.

:07:10. > :07:14.No, go and get the chair. I go and get the chair and do it. I hate to

:07:15. > :07:18.admit it, but it actually works. It works, you can tell on Saturday

:07:19. > :07:22.night. Keep it up! I tell you. I cannot wait to see you two in the

:07:23. > :07:30.Church. Danny and Oti!

:07:31. > :07:32.Now, it's time to check in with some of our hard-working trainees.

:07:33. > :07:35.Here's how Laura and Giovanni, Judge Rinder and Oksana,

:07:36. > :07:40.and Ore and Joanne have been preparing for Halloween week.

:07:41. > :07:46.We are dancing the tango to the Rolling Stones and the Rolling

:07:47. > :07:55.Stones are one of my favourite bands of all time.

:07:56. > :08:03.Tango is a quite beautiful dance. Set... Go... My grandma is quicker

:08:04. > :08:07.and especially dramatic. It is going to be a terrifying

:08:08. > :08:15.tango. Yes! Beautiful!

:08:16. > :08:22.The paso doble is strong, powerful and elegant.

:08:23. > :08:26.One, and two, and three, four... It is very different from other dances

:08:27. > :08:33.because there are specific shapes we need to create. There is a beautiful

:08:34. > :08:42.routine this week. I want it to live up to her expectation. You can

:08:43. > :08:47.expect an incredible butch dance. Five, six, seven, eight...

:08:48. > :08:54.Oh, the charleston, what are you doing to me? It makes very little

:08:55. > :09:00.sense. You've got to make sure your feet do

:09:01. > :09:09.that swifling motion. Mine don't want to do that. He cannot swifle on

:09:10. > :09:15.his right foot! That is like the basic back foo... Good. Don't kick

:09:16. > :09:17.yourself! Trying to keep up. Every day just trying to keep up. Please

:09:18. > :09:25.can I keep up! ? Now it is time for the results of a

:09:26. > :09:31.momentous poll. You have been waiting in your millions... Sorry,

:09:32. > :09:36.thousands to decide what Ian Waite should wear for hollow wean. Just to

:09:37. > :09:51.recap everybody, your options were baller rien that gone bad, Black

:09:52. > :09:55.Swan T legendary Beetlejuice. Orsome Barbara Streisand and the winner

:09:56. > :10:08.will be revealed after this short message...

:10:09. > :10:17.Please welcome, in your winning Hallowe'en costume, what he normally

:10:18. > :10:25.wears on a Saturday night, Mr Ian Waite.

:10:26. > :10:41.Oh, darling, you look divine. Thank you very much. I am prima Russian

:10:42. > :10:45.ballerina. You look glorious. Will you wear this for trick or treat? I

:10:46. > :10:52.don't want to frighten the kids too much. I hope Sir Matthew Bourne is

:10:53. > :10:57.watching. In an outfit like that where do you keep your wand? I keep

:10:58. > :11:02.it here. I didn't have any space in these tights.

:11:03. > :11:07.Oh, the duck sound! Very funny. Let's look at the couples this week.

:11:08. > :11:11.Ed and Katya, so much for them, from the public for these guys, never

:11:12. > :11:16.been in the danceoff. Often bottom of the leaderboard. How can he avoid

:11:17. > :11:21.being the bottom doing the cha-cha-cha? Yes, he's full of

:11:22. > :11:25.enthusiasm, which is graesmt got a good energy. I would like to see him

:11:26. > :11:30.a little bit more aware of his body. He doesn't know where he is with his

:11:31. > :11:34.body. There are places where, especially in cha-cha-cha, if I stop

:11:35. > :11:39.it here, where it would be nice if he could get his body over the

:11:40. > :11:42.standing foot. If you put that heel down, right, he would be able to

:11:43. > :11:47.straighten that knee and get his body way over there. Do you see what

:11:48. > :11:58.I mean? If you show us. Over like that. Like that! Here we go. Cha...

:11:59. > :12:03.He looks like a demented emu! It's not so good this week. So I

:12:04. > :12:09.give him three pumpkins. Thank you very much! On to Claudia and AJ, a

:12:10. > :12:12.brilliant samba last week. The judges said it is so, so fast, they

:12:13. > :12:17.are slowing things down with an American smooth. It is a classic.

:12:18. > :12:22.How does it look? Beautiful foxtrot in here. To be honest they did a

:12:23. > :12:26.foxtrot last week. It is very lucky, they have an advantage. It was not

:12:27. > :12:30.last week. It was the week before. But it has given her a chance to do

:12:31. > :12:35.the foxtrot already. What I would like to see, as you can see here, I

:12:36. > :12:39.would like to see her get a little bit more over AJ's right-hand side

:12:40. > :12:43.and we would see the head a bit more over here and they would be able to

:12:44. > :12:47.create more of that flower in the vase. It is looking very good. I

:12:48. > :12:58.will give it two spiders, which is happy spiders. And one pumpkin. Well

:12:59. > :13:02.done, everyone! Laura and Giovanni hoping to get back on the floor. Are

:13:03. > :13:06.you looking forward to their tango? She has a good body position. If you

:13:07. > :13:13.see, she is over the right-hand side. I really like her head

:13:14. > :13:19.position. She's missing all the heel leads. She's doing all the forward

:13:20. > :13:24.walks and does one heel lead and the rest are toes. Maybe it is the ankle

:13:25. > :13:28.situation or the strain. But that needs to be eradicated in time

:13:29. > :13:34.because obviously tango, you've always got heel leads. You are down

:13:35. > :13:40.in the knees. Always heel leads. So, for this, darling, I give two

:13:41. > :13:49.spiders... Oh, no, one spider and two pumpkins. I love how in control

:13:50. > :13:55.you are of that! Judge and Oksana, a full pelt in their jive. He loved

:13:56. > :13:58.it, as do we. This week she's being a moth and she's being a butterfly.

:13:59. > :14:03.What can you tell us about the training? I just love watching him.

:14:04. > :14:07.He's very strong. He's got a good walk there, as you can see. Good

:14:08. > :14:11.heel leads, which are fabulous. I would like to see, I mean he's

:14:12. > :14:17.getting into it. I think he needs a little bit more, he needs more

:14:18. > :14:21.shaping. I'm liking his costume... Where he's looking, he cannot look

:14:22. > :14:25.down at the floor. He needs to look across the room. There is a bull

:14:26. > :14:32.coming at him and he needs to keep that in mind at all times. If he can

:14:33. > :14:37.keep the elbows out and keep the shaping, it will be fabulous. So, I

:14:38. > :14:53.will give this... Three happy spiders. Ladies and gentlemen you

:14:54. > :14:56.can never unsee this... . Bravo. I love it.

:14:57. > :14:58.Now, last week Head of the Glam Squad, Lisa Armstrong,

:14:59. > :15:01.gave us some top tips on how to achieve a Hollywood makeover.

:15:02. > :15:03.Here's her guide to creating a frighteningly good

:15:04. > :15:14.I do love you. I really do! I'm Lisa Armstrong I'm the hair and makeup

:15:15. > :15:25.designer for Strictly come dancing. I'm excited about recreating one of

:15:26. > :15:30.my favourite Hallowe'en looks. It's Killer Doomy. The hair has been

:15:31. > :15:34.pressed. Loads of pieces, crimp, high top, perfect for a Hallowe'en

:15:35. > :15:40.look. I will start off with the eyes. In there with the black liner

:15:41. > :15:44.and create that ghoulish look. Now, I will use a black eye shadow all

:15:45. > :15:50.the way up to the eyebrow to make sure the line at the end is sharp I

:15:51. > :15:58.will create the shape with the eye liner brush. I will go underneath to

:15:59. > :16:07.join the look together. We added glitter over the top so it shines

:16:08. > :16:14.and has a strictly look. I will apply a base to give it that deathly

:16:15. > :16:18.Hallowe'en veil. Once you have all your hair backcombed you have pale

:16:19. > :16:23.vase, black eyes, you don't have to spend a fortune on a costume, you

:16:24. > :16:28.can put on a red dress, heels and you are a zombie. I will use a

:16:29. > :16:33.reflex glitter, that will go on the base. She can shine around the dance

:16:34. > :16:38.floor. The look has to be pretty because we are Strictly. We have to

:16:39. > :16:44.obviously give a scary background to it and then glitter it up and make

:16:45. > :16:50.it look glamorous. We come to the gemming, which is obviously very

:16:51. > :16:56.Strictly. Tweezers, eyelash glue, back of the hand. Pop slightly in,

:16:57. > :17:01.pop on the face. Done - repeat. Good, hey? ! Now we will do the

:17:02. > :17:08.lips. We will paint them out with the white. With the eye liner brush

:17:09. > :17:17.and then this, this, joining that all up. Then we just create the

:17:18. > :17:22.lines going through. With the tip and the white paint you can go

:17:23. > :17:27.around and perfect them. It's Hallowe'en, you don't have to be too

:17:28. > :17:30.precise. You can see how you are dragging the white and black

:17:31. > :17:33.through. The last bit to this look is putting a nice black line around

:17:34. > :17:40.the lip. There you go, a perfect Hallowe'en

:17:41. > :17:50.look. Pop a red dress on the other hand and you're good to go.

:17:51. > :17:59.Thank you very much, Chloe. Happy birthday to Lisa. The big one, big

:18:00. > :18:01.4-0. Now from one backstage

:18:02. > :18:02.hero to another. Strictly's Creative Director

:18:03. > :18:04.of Choreography, Jason Gilkison, will be joining me on the sofa next

:18:05. > :18:08.week and we'd love to ask him some You can tweet them using the #It

:18:09. > :18:12.Takes Two or email your questions Now, it's another big week

:18:13. > :18:16.for costumes, but it's a walk in the park for this next lady,

:18:17. > :18:39.it's Vicky Gill. Vicky Gill. How amazing did Ian look

:18:40. > :18:43.in that getup? Fantastic. We all love a theme you love a theme. It's

:18:44. > :18:47.a lot of work. Yes. How far in advance do you get prepared for

:18:48. > :18:51.hall? Not long enough. It's great fun. It's happening. Every week.

:18:52. > :18:55.Someone is doing something and then - it's changed. They will be this.

:18:56. > :19:02.For you it must be a nightmare. Cutting things up. We have a sketch

:19:03. > :19:08.of Jo's dress last week. It worked beautifully. This dress is

:19:09. > :19:13.simplicity. Two layers to the dress, simple, eight pan e a wide flare. It

:19:14. > :19:18.works beautifully for the number. Sometimes you don't need to over

:19:19. > :19:24.cook things. Keep it simple. Ore was gorgeous in the white shirt and

:19:25. > :19:28.white waist coat. Judge Rinder and Oksana are being a moth and

:19:29. > :19:33.butterfly. This is unusual? A challenge. The concepts are always a

:19:34. > :19:39.challenge. We've enjoyed this. We have had this hand painted. A lovely

:19:40. > :19:44.lady worked hard this week to do this for us. It's wings. We didn't

:19:45. > :19:47.know how it would work at the beginning of the week. We will see

:19:48. > :19:51.what the proportion is like on Oksana tomorrow morning. With. We

:19:52. > :19:59.will continue the painting up into the bodies, that is why it's not

:20:00. > :20:03.matching right now -- bodice. More of this will happen on the wings. It

:20:04. > :20:11.will transform tomorrow, as normal. Not coming out? Probably! They are

:20:12. > :20:16.doing Paso Doble. Daisy and Aljaz doing Paso Doble. This is Daisy's

:20:17. > :20:20.outfit. It's traditional. When we get to show time on Saturday we will

:20:21. > :20:25.have coloured flowers around the neck line. The skirt will probably

:20:26. > :20:34.be longer. She has such long legs, they go on forever. Hold it like

:20:35. > :20:42.that. Thrills. We have about 100 circular thrills. A circle, 10

:20:43. > :20:46.centimetres in-depth. That is multiplied and sown around the

:20:47. > :20:54.bottom. Leigh was working hard on this morning. Aljaz will he wear a

:20:55. > :20:58.vest or not? It's not going to be Gorka. We love him, he comes in and

:20:59. > :21:07.makes anything look amazing. He does. Red and black jacket. They

:21:08. > :21:14.will compliment each other. This week, with Hallowe'en she is dancing

:21:15. > :21:23.to Bat Out Of Hel Anita with Brendan. We have black, red, black,

:21:24. > :21:26.red and more black and red. You have to create diversity through the

:21:27. > :21:32.line-up. They are bats, it had to be black. We put orange and peach and

:21:33. > :21:43.red through the core of Anita's dress. Anastacia's dress. --

:21:44. > :21:46.Anastacia. We will create a wing detail through her costume. We hope

:21:47. > :21:50.it will be fringe. Will wings restrict movement? Sometimes they

:21:51. > :21:56.get caught. I hate it when that happens. Oti is being the corpse

:21:57. > :22:01.bride? That is right. Talk us through her frock. The base of Oti's

:22:02. > :22:09.dress is a standard shape for foxtrot. She has enough flare and

:22:10. > :22:13.movement. A detailed hemline there is lots of chantilly lace, but to

:22:14. > :22:24.create the bride feel and that volume to the dress we've twisted

:22:25. > :22:33.layers of tulee over the bodice. All the things to come with it are her

:22:34. > :22:38.veil and bouquet. Can't wait to see it come to life. And Vicky Gill's

:22:39. > :22:41.children get their costumes from the shops where we get our kids. Yes. .

:22:42. > :22:45.Vicky Gill. Our final couple danced a romantic

:22:46. > :22:48.Rumba under the glowing lights of the Eiffel Tower on Saturday

:22:49. > :23:04.night, and we couldn't have loved it # Baby I didn't hold you... #

:23:05. > :23:14.You are consistently good. Well done. You have wonderful movement.

:23:15. > :23:28.Beautiful quality and relationship between you. It was one classy

:23:29. > :23:33.Rumba. Louise and Kevin. Hello, admiring your shoes. That was a

:23:34. > :23:38.glassy rumba last week. A get away to Paris. Were you pleased with how

:23:39. > :23:45.it went? I was. I was nervous about doing the rumba, you feel so

:23:46. > :23:48.exposed. All week Kevin was saying - get into character, you have to live

:23:49. > :23:52.it. On the night I couldn't have done it better. If you do your best,

:23:53. > :23:55.regardless of how good anyone else is, that is all you ask for. Sglm

:23:56. > :24:02.you brought that character nicely. You can have a sexy rumba, it did

:24:03. > :24:08.feel romantic, like you were... That is what we decided. We didn't want

:24:09. > :24:14.to... It didn't feel right to writhe all over each other. We wanted to

:24:15. > :24:20.make it classy... Not that you're not beautiful! Wife, husbands and

:24:21. > :24:24.kids. We wanted a classic romantic rumba that puts pressure on things.

:24:25. > :24:30.It's more spoking it's all about technique then. You nailed it. I

:24:31. > :24:35.hear in rehearsals there were a couple of mistakes? I went rogue in

:24:36. > :24:40.rehearsal. Did my own thing. Made up my own dance. Kevin put his arm out

:24:41. > :24:45.and I ran off. She ran off. I didn't know where she was going. When that

:24:46. > :24:52.happens how much does it make you frightened that the same thing would
